It does its job but you have to practically wash the dishes first. It does take the load of having to do dish but it could be better. I have had a few issues but that could have also been my roommate placing the dishes in incorrectly. This model is perfect for one person but for numerous people its a bit hard not to fill it up quickly. The size of the racks are a tad bit too small for my taste. Its the typical white, fridge texture on the outside. It isnt the best to look at but honestly, who cares about looks when what matters is that it gets its job done. The value of this dishwasher isnt the best Ive ever seen but it still works. Yes the shinier dishwashers probably work better but for how long can they keep that up?

We have a maintenance contract with Kenmore to repair our dishwasher. The dishwasher died. We called to have it repaired. No repairman appeared on the assigned date. A call to the repair number succeeded only to set up another date a month out. (Previously we had a Kenmore water heater die. We had a maintenance contract on it too. A visit to the Sears store for help just got us a call a plumber answer.) We just ordered a replacement (another brand) from Home Depot.

Always had enough space for the loads of dishes that I had. The pot and pans always came clean. Very little problems with the machine. The front was not very nice, but since the washer worked well, we decided to try this appliance.

Color white, it has a big space inside high in power, good quality, very durable, easy and convenient to used. Sound is good, very powerful, length and width is perfect. Worth product, service has in the mind of customer a good value service affects customer is willing to pay. For the most part customers are unaware of the true cost of production of the products they bought.

It functions, cleans my dishes nice, quickly, efficiently. My only issue is it rusts very easy. I need to continuously paint over the rust with a product for that every few months/washes. Its big enough. Not too big. It can easily hold the dishes for a family of four, with give or take a little bit of room left for surplus dishes. It does not take up too much space. What I got was reasonably priced. For the functionality, its good. I think however next time Id purchase a more premium quality one to avoid rusting out so quickly.

Kenmore Dishwasher is a great size. I have a family of five and I always have enough room. I put the pots and plates on the bottom, and the cups and bowls on the top. The performance of my dishwasher was fantastic. It washes clean and doesnt leave any residue behind or soap scum. It washes my dishes fast and gets them clean on the first cycle. The value of my dishwasher is great because I got a lifetime warranty on mine which means if it ever breaks I get to take it back and get it replaced by a new one. The dishwasher works well enough, it saves time from washing the dishes by hand but I do notice a lot of spotting on the dishes after theyve dried, which is kind of annoying. Good size. I can fit about a days worth of dishes into the dishwasher. Sometimes its a bit harder to do everything in one load though if there are a lot of pots and pans that day. Its a nice light color, which keeps the kitchen bright and cheerful and I enjoy that over darker colors. It has a nice shine to it but not too shiny to make a glare when the sunlight comes in.

You would figure paying this much for this product - it would be amazing... It is just average. It cleans ok, but it is very quiet. However we have had sears out 3 times to fix the jet dry dispenser. It is still not fixed and is not out of warranty. It dumps the entire thing each run of the dishwasher. So we dont used the spot free dispenser any more. Sad for such an expensive unit. Size fits perfect to my laundry room, very convenient. Happy with the purchase. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Quiet and gets the job done quickly. The unit does a reasonable job with the daily dishwashing needs. The unit does not perform as well with heavier greased up pots and pans. The unit also falls short if it is filled to its normal capacity.

My dryer works extremely well. It usually takes approximately one half hour to dry a medium size load. My utility bill is extremely low because I use washer and dryer up to ten times a week. I am able to wash and dry blankets in the washer and dry them in dryer, so I am so glad I dont have to go to the laundromat to do my laundry.

The Kenmore dishwasher was in my house when I bought it. It is just a plain dishwasher with a couple of buttons. Its nothing fancy. It has a little tray for your silverware and has a rinse cycle wash. Its OK but you have to rinse off the dishes really good so I wash them by hand. Not even an exter wash. It holds most of my dishes but it doesnt hold my big frying pans and pots. It will hold my cookie sheets if I can slide it in between the dishes. I would like to get a newer model sometime in the future.

Model: 665.12763K312. I ran the 3+ year-old Kenmore Elite dishwasher on 4 hour delay cycle but it didnt shut off during the night. The next morning, it was still cycling with water running through it. The counter tops above the dishwasher were too hot to touch. I immediately cancelled the cycle. After a few minutes, we opened the door and the blast of heat/steam set off the heat detector/smoke alarm in the kitchen. Inside the plastic cups were misshapen due to excessive heat, a drinking glass was cracked from the heat, and my the finish on my plates was crazed/etched/rough. Many online reports say there was a fire hazard for other models, but the recalls have already ended. Kenmore offered to send a repair person out, but I declined. Its too much of a fire risk to ever use this one again.

Works great, a lot better than hand washing. Dont need to prewash before washing in dishwasher. I would recommend to anyone who wants a efficient way to do dishes without hand washing. The size is good, I can usually fit a full sink load plus pans and silverware all in one load, and they come clean! I would recommend to anyone, with a big family to feed and lots of dishes. This was a relatively efficient appliance! Aside from the noise, it did the job well. Would recommend for families on a budget! (P.s. RIDICULOUS SEARS POLICY that the dishwasher cannot be replaced because we had it for more than 30 days. Technician said he had to order 3 parts... Cost of parts very close to original cost of machine & OVER what we paid for the dishwasher if you add-in the labor cost. I want a new machine, I do not trust the integrity of this machine. What is so difficult to see that this machine is DEFECTIVE and should be replaced and not repaired?Ive had to make time for 2 service calls so far and now the parts on BACK-ORDER! Why cant Sears just deliver a new dishwasher! How do we rent the apartment without a working dishwasher??? Will Sears compensate us for loss of rental income and time taken for service calls? Customer Service call center in the PHILIPPINES are nothing more than answering machines, have no authoritative powers or common sense.

The appearance is nice. The color is a nice matte grey so it doesnt clash with kitchen themes. It fits well with other colors and does not stand out. I would recommend this color and not the black. It is a nice size. There are two pull out shelves. The distances between them is no even, the top one is very close to the top roof of the dishwasher so you can only put small items up there. The bottom one has a lot of room for plates, and could use more room for bigger items such as pots and pans. The silverware sections is perfectly sized. Sometimes it doesnt get everything clean but after a second wash everything comes out spotless. Sometimes if you run the dishwasher with just vinegar it gets clean and that washer runs better. It is a great dishwasher and is well worth the value. Some say you get what you pay for but with this Kenmore dishwasher I feel like you what you pay for and more, because it is just that great and worth it. It is very reliable.

Washes large loads of dishes clean and very efficiently in very little time... It seems very easy to load and unload and to stack several layers. Cost was extremely reasonable too. The size of my dishwasher is nearly perfect for the size of my kitchen. It meets my needs and cleans enough dishes for at least a weeks worth of servings. Its a cool slate gray that gives a modern look to the kitchen and blends in quickly with the rest of the kitchen. It makes very little noise & washes everything completely clean. This dishwasher is really worth its value... It is very modern looking and works within a very efficient wash cycle that lasts less than thirty minutes.

The dishwasher cleans well with minimal issues. It runs quiet as well. Occasionally the detergent dispenser gets stuck and I have to rerun a cycle. I can put most size of items in the washer without blocking too much of the water flow. Some baking sheets are difficult but if you put them on the side you can tilt them to fit in to the space. Mine has a stainless steel face. It just wipe it water mostly and go behind with a dry cloth. It does scratch easily by the dog. We had a mouse hiding under it and my dog scratched it up near the bottom. I guess it was a good value for the price. It was part of our appliance package with our new house so we didnt buy directly but through our builder.

We looked at different stores and different brands, but Sears had the Kenmore dishwasher on sale. I liked that it had a cutting board top, but I had to rub oil on it a lot to keep it looking good. I liked that it was movable and I could load it in the dining room and move it to the kitchen to run. I also liked that it opened from the top, it held a lot of dishes, not very noisy when running, and was easy to load dishes into it. I also had other Kenmore brand appliances and knew that they were a good dependable brand. But I disliked that when you hooked it to the faucet that you could not use the sink while it ran. It also would have been good to have the hose longer, and have the hook up to the faucet have it so you could still use the faucet. I also had to have the dishwasher tight up to the counter and I would have liked to have a longer electrical cord that plugged into the wall.

Many people think of the name and think, “oh its expensive…” when actually you get a great deal depends on where you get one at. Its worth the price.

I always had very clean clothes and dishes. Food stayed cold and my freezer had plenty room and food stayed frozen. I would recommend Kenmore to everyone!! These appliances have been around for years and I do not know of any family and friends that had any problems.

I like that it really cleans all of my dishes and not just partially like most dishwashers I have used before in my life. It also lets me control the speed which is nice because you want to have some control over how fast it goes. I really liked what this brand had to offer as far as features and just overall capability. It is something I could see myself using for the next 10 years and getting the best quality out of it. But I would like if it could fit more dishes. I also would like if it was stainless steel at a cheaper price than what you would have to spend for that feature.

I have a Kenmore Elite dishwasher model #665.13963K014 which I purchased new in 2011 alongside a Kenmore Elite refrigerator which has failed 3x in 4 years. However, this dishwasher is EXCELLENT. No troubles, everything comes out clean virtually every time (unless I load something wrong, usually). My wife and I love it. It is so quiet that you cannot hear it in the next room and you could even miss hearing it in the kitchen if you didnt listen for it. Wonderful! I dont know who makes this for Sears, but it is a quality appliance in my opinion.

This dishwasher was purchased brand new in 2013. By 2016 we had to completely replace the core mechanical guts of this dishwasher. And now in January 2019 it is failing again. When it works it does a great job. But what kind of appliance which cost $1000 has a life expectancy of three years before needing its entire motor assembly to be replaced. And then two years after that it is not working. Kenmore is garbage! No wonder Sears is going under. Apparently Kenmore is made by Whirlpool. They should be ashamed of themselves. Do not buy a Kenmore dishwasher before reading the plethora of bad reviews.

Overall I was happy with the Kenmore dishwasher, the price was fair, and it performed the way that I needed it to. The only reason I dont have it now is because circumstances would not allow me to travel with it. I was pleased with the amount of space that was in my dishwasher. With six people living in the house, you can imagine that there were quite a few dishes that piled up. Because of the differences in racks, I was able to fit a variety of different dishware during each wash cycle. While it might not be the sleekest dishwasher in the market, it matched the other appliances in my kitchen just fine. What it might lack in aesthetics, it makes up for in performance. For the price that was paid, I feel as though we really got our moneys worth. Our washer really helped make things manageable around the house.

The Kenmore dishwasher works great, it gets off even stuck on food that I thought would be dried on. I bought a rinse aid for the dishwasher because my water is hard and it left spots but it left no spots after that and even the harder things to clean with the little crevices and grooves came out clean. It has a few different settings to help meet the exact needs of the dishes you are washing in each load. I have a family of 5 and we do two loads a day and can fit everything into the dishwasher (since the kids hate hand washing). I am able to fit several cups, bowls and larger utensils on the top rack and then the silverware, plates and larger items on the bottom rack without issue. When Im not looking the kids even sneak pots into the dishwasher with the dinner dishes without incident. This dishwasher looks nice in the kitchen and matches well with my other appliances. It has a sleek look and doesnt seem to hold smears and fingerprints like some other appliances that Ive had in the past. This dishwasher also has stood the test of time in my kitchen and gets used more than daily. For the price it was a great investment in not hearing the kids whine about having to hand wash the dishes. I believe this was a great purchase and would do it again.

Kenmore Dishwasher is very easy to load and energy efficient. Its door stays open while loading. It also has very good wash cycle, rinse cycle and it has drying. This particular dishwasher is small enough to fit comfortably in any home or apartment but large enough to fit all of my pots, pans, cake pans, silverware utensils and bowls, plates and cups. The dishwasher that I had was white with a cream colored plastic along the top where the buttons are that had trimmed as gold, silver or black and also has vents on the front. Its a very nice washer and very easy to clean. I definitely got my moneys worth and I actually purchased it from somebody so we got a little bit cheaper. I would definitely recommend somebody buying this new or used.

Sears and Kenmore both made it easy for me to cross them off my list for future appliance purchases. If I cant trust them with a small appliance like a microwave, I know I wont be able to trust them with a large purchase. No one should have to replace a microwave after just two years, especially when its kept in pristine condition. My microwave was great when it worked, easy to clean and large interior. Then it started rotating and heating when I opened the door (dangerous). Then when door was closed, food was placed inside and you would expect it to heat something, it would instead countdown and nothing happened. Only thing that worked was the timer.For months I contacted Kenmore on FB privately showing them video of both issues and their response was basically, Im sorry for your troubles, theres nothing we can do. I have a dishwasher with another company that messed up and they actually cared about making things right. I wouldve easily bought a replacement, but the dont care attitude keeps me from replacing my Kenmore microwave with another Kenmore microwave. After just 2 years, Id expect more.

The model I have, I bought in 2011. Its been almost flawless in performance. The only issues have occurred when something needed more thorough scrubbing afterwards. My model is an HE one. All stainless steel walls interior. From the top down, there is an attached basket in the back for long or small items. There are two flip down racks attached to the front sides for more small items or long ones. Prong sections in the rack itself can be folded down for odd shaped things. There is a washing arm under the top rack so everything on the top rack gets well cleaned. The top rack adjusts up and down for taller items above or below. The bottom rack has a removable knife rack on the left side. The removable silverware basket, I have it on the right side, is divided into 5 sections with divided lids that can be folded up or down to separate utensils. There are jets on the back wall for the pot scrubbing feature, which can add when choosing cycles. Theres a removable filter basket in the bottom. There are lots of cycles to choose from, all of which Ive tried at one time or another and all work well, including a one hour wash, a sanitizing wash, a top rack only wash, etc. The machine is very well insulated so its super quiet. I can barely hear it running, which I really appreciate, as my bedroom is directly above the kitchen. Theres even a delay wash option, so it can run after I go to sleep. The door can be left open at a variety of different angles without it falling down or shutting. This is great for letting it air out, as I dont use the drying cycle. I live in a dry climate so allow the dishes to air dry by opening the door all the way and pulling the racks out. It is a standard sized washer, meaning it fit in the same location as my old unit. However, it is larger inside than my old unit, so I can put taller items inside. I chose a brushed stainless exterior to match my fridge. This has not been so wonderful though. It shows stains that I cant seem to get out. Something must have spilled on the exterior at one point that etched into the finish. When polished with a stainless steel cleanser, it looks great, but within a day, the stain reappears. The cycles panel is on the top of the door, so its almost completely hidden from view when the door is fully closed. There are 3 led lights on the front, just above the handle, though Ive only seen two of them lit - red for when its running and blue when it finished. Ive no idea what the middle light color is or what it means. When I chose this model, I had a choice of handles. I chose a rounded one for hanging towels on and if I bump into it, it doesnt hurt so much. This was an expensive home appliance, being just under $1000 (originally $1400). I got it on clearance when Sears closed out their big home stores. At one point, just four days after the warranty had expired, the washers computer control panel stopped working. I looked on YouTube and found the fix, which saved me a $90 service call, and took less than 5 minutes to do.After having read how many others have encountered this same issue, I think the control panels are preset to fail (and most just after the warranty expires), to force people into making an expensive service call, because it takes less than 5 minutes to fix it. And once its done, it hasnt reoccurred, at least not for me, and its been over a year now that I fixed it. It would be easy enough to program that error to happen at a specific time, by either the manufacturer or a salesperson with the programming instructions. I always try to repair, or replace, things myself, to save the exorbitant cost repair services charge these days.

Total purchase including removal and installation $893.62, which at age 74 and on social security is a lot of money for a new dishwasher. This product was purchased online in July 2018 from Sears. The included warranty from Kenmore was valid for 1 year. I used the dishwasher once a day. Once a month I not only cleaned the filters but used an Affresh tablet to ensure the tub was cleaned. Up until February of 2019, I did not have any problems or issues. In fact, I was very pleased with this product. When it stopped working we called repair service. Well, now it is May 14th and after many parts ordered, at least 3 different technicians (plus online directions), this product is still out of service. Countless telephone calls during these months have provided me with numerous disconnects, wrong departments, incorrect information, a good number to book a cruise and after providing them with my email address which were sent to someone else. Now finding out my emails were sent to who knows who and I did not respond in a timely manner. My request for replacement has been denied. I have been more than patient during this process. However, today I just completely lost it and said I would accept the loss never to do business with either the bankrupt Sears and Kenmore ever again and would try to get the word out so no one would have to lose their hard earned money the way I have. I hope this review will be read before someone decides to purchase a Kenmore product. I know I will do my best to research my next purchase.

We purchased a top of the line dishwasher 2 years ago (Kenmore Elite). All of our appliances are Kenmore. It was around $700-$800. It quit advancing the washing cycle. It would cost us $600 just for the part to fix it and Kenmore pretty much told us sorry about your luck. Needless to say, we will purchase future appliances from Lowes or Home Depot.

I know someone that has a Kenmore dishwasher and they are pleased. I also read a lot of online reviews and looked at the features and prices. Then I checked the dishwasher out in person and it seemed to be a great product as well. I like the overall quality and the effectiveness of cleaning the dishes. Also is low volume so I can run it day and night without disturbing my household. Low energy cost and good warranty as well. Its always been consistent and worth the price I paid for it. Wife is happy with it as well.

We purchased a Kenmore dishwasher about five years ago. Do not buy a Kenmore dishwasher. Parts fail and they leak. Our kitchen floor (new) was ruined. My husband fixed the first leak. This was a small part that cost $5 online. Of course the warranty had just run out??? Two years later and something else is leaking. I guess he is going to have to try and fix it again. Cheap crap, manufactured without adequate quality control (yes I work in shipping/logistics so am aware of the shortcuts). You pay enough for these things but they do not last. My advice is to stay away. There is a reason that Sears is failing and disappearing. Maybe this is why.

Very powerful and durable dishwasher with amazing size. Its huge enough to clean the sink full of dishes every time, and cleans them well every single time. No need to ever run it twice in one day. There are shelves that are easy to move and switch so it has extra room. The look of the dishwasher fits in with the rest of my appliances. It has a great impressive look that makes my kitchen feel up to date and modern. I got an excellent price and rebate on the product. There was no surprise charge or free mail in and got refunded one hundred dollars. Everything was upfront on paper to see. Left with no questions needing answered.

I think it is a solid refrigerator. The only problem I have with it is it noisy. The hum is louder than the last refrigerator I owned. However, it was affordable and something I would recommend. The design matches with my dishwasher and other appliances beautifully. I would buy it again if I was on a tight budget.

It is very quiet, gets the dishes clean and dries them without many spots. I like the flexibility of the two racks to accommodate wine glasses and pots and pans. This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever had. It has a smart wash cycle as well as the normal cycle, rinse and hold cycle and you can turn off the heated drying as well. It is not as large as some other dishwashers I have had but I understand that is because of the extra insulation to make it as quiet as it is. Mine is stainless steel and has all the buttons hidden on top of the lid. This makes it easy to see them without bending over.

This washer was a very good one. It was strong enough to thoroughly clean the dishes and was quiet. I would recommend this as a good choice. I had no problem fitting in my dishes in this dishwasher. There was enough room to include my pots and pans and dishes at the same time. The machine fit in well with my decor and was easy to keep clean. It was the same color as my other appliances in my kitchen and I was very satisfied with the appearance. Because the dishwasher was sized well, worked well and looked well plus was very reliable it had a big value to me. I cannot praise the machine enough the five years I used it.

This is the second Kenmore product I have bought that has not even lasted 5 years. This dishwasher stopped heating up for washing and drying. The repairman said it would cost $380 to repair as the control board needs to be replaced. I saw there is a recall related to the control board on Kenmore dishwashers but my model is not on the list. In March of 2012 we bought a Kenmore dishwasher. In August of 2012 the door latch had to be repaired due to a manufacturing defect. Today the upper rack assembly fell apart for about the 4th time, this time permanently. The one part that would fix it is not available on the replacement parts website. When you spend almost $900 on a new appliance you should be able to expect more reliability and more longevity. This thing is a piece of junk and were getting rid of it. Sears used to be a reliable retailer. What happened? Shouldnt have to spend an average of more than $300/Year on something as simple as a dishwasher.

I am satisfied at how clean everything is. I would describe my dishwashers performance as very nice. I would recommend it because it washes those dishes right up! The dishwasher doesnt take up the whole kitchen which is nice. It is smaller than a refrigerator and larger than a trash can which is a good size for a dishwasher to be. It could always be smaller, but then it couldnt hold more dishes. The more dishes that get clean, the better, so Id say the size is just right!This dishwasher is on fleek. You get about 8 cups every 24 hours!!!My Kenmore Elite Dishwasher (was a great dishwasher while it ran), BUT all of a sudden it started making a VERY loud noise and it is so loud, you cant hear someone talking in the kitchen, I have never heard anything like it from a dishwasher! My Kenmore Elite Microwave suddenly made a really loud pop noise and it smelled like it caught on fire! Customer Service said there was a recall on the refrigerator, so they made an appointment for a technician to come out. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!! So I called back and they said now the computer would not allow them to make an appointment for me. I spent over 2 hours on the phone trying to get to supervisors to help me. NO HELP!!! I AM SO DISAPPOINTED WITH YOU KENMORE!!! I will never buy another Kenmore item.

I bought a Kenmore dishwasher approximately 5 years ago. I have had to repair the same problem twice within the last two years and the same problem just occurred again! The soap dispenser door stops opening and it has been burnt on the back of the dispenser unit and the motherboard has burn marks where the dispenser plugs into it. This is the same problem three times now. Ive now spent over a thousand dollars to repair a $400 dishwasher! This third time I was done repairing it out of my pocket so I called the 18004MYHOME number and spoke with a rude alleged customer service representative. I explained my frustrations and acknowledged it wasnt his fault but was hoping Kenmore could repair it for me or offer a discount to buy another Kenmore dishwasher even though I really didnt want to. The guy kept repeating the same things and saying I cant get it repaired for free with a smug tone. I then stated that I have had no problem paying over a thousand dollars at this point just dont feel its right for me to pay again. And said Im buying a new dishwasher and was hoping you could offer anything to make me want to buy Kenmore again. He continued to have an attitude and I asked for a supervisor, he muted me and I kept asking for him to give me his name and transfer me to a supervisor and he hung up on me. I was on a landline so not a random disconnect. Also he had muted me several times throughout the call and would come back on. He was extremely rude and basically I will never want to be a Kenmore customer again. If you cant stand behind your product and realize that after three times of the same thing happening thats not a problem with the product then have customer service agents act disrespectful, rude and hang up on you, then I would recommend anyone to stay away from this company.

It looks nice and it matches with everything in our kitchen. Purchase this dishwasher if you have lighter cabinets. It doesnt take up too much room because its not too big. It fits almost all of our dishes. Even if we use all of our dishes and have so many guests that we use all of the dishes. It is efficient and still cleans thoroughly with everything in there. It gets out the toughest food residue. We use it once a week and also when there are a lot of people at our house for a special gathering, family occasion or holiday. Bought a Kenmore 665 series dishwasher less than 3.5 years ago for $600. For the past 6-8 weeks I’ve been trying to determine why it works intermittently, usually just filling, heating, and draining, while not washing and not even dissolving the soap, and other times working ok... And I’m pretty good at researching and repairing. We were getting error codes in the diagnostics and replaced parts. Now we rarely get error codes but usually it doesn’t wash or dissolve at all even when there are no codes. A repairman costs half of a new machine and the worst part is that it’s not even 4 years old. We gave up and have a Bosch ordered, hoping for better luck. Note that Whirlpool makes Kenmore...

It was good. Got the dishes clean. Didnt have to pre soak them beforehand. Works very good. Good price. Easy to operate. Its a good size. Doesnt take up a lot of kitchen space. Very roomy and looks nice with other appliances. Very good appearance. Mine was black to go with the look of my kitchen but they come in silver and I think white and well it looks like a million dollars but you dont pay a million. I know Kenmore is a great company and sells great products so Im sure that the value is pretty good and last long.

The dishwasher does great. I have not had any problems with it. I am very satisfied with my Kenmore 24 in dishwasher. It gets all my dishes clean and is quiet. It is only a 24 in built in dishwasher. It that is all the bigger I need to have. It does not take up any space hardly under the counter and out of the way. Jet covers all my needs. It may not be a fancy looking dishwasher but I am a simple person and it goes good with the rest of my kitchen. I like tube white color and the metal trim. I like the convenient shelf placement and the placement of the doors is good for many things. Having a place for everything I put in it is great. But it has never enough room for me since I always make dishes large enough to feed an army and I keep a lot of leftovers. But the temperature is consistent and I never have any spoiled food.

The dishwasher is fine for our family of four adults. We can get two to three days between loads but at holiday times we often must load and run twice for an extended family meal. This dishwasher is so quiet one often does not realize it is running. Holds a good amount and easy to load and operate. The silverware tray is occasionally in the way and too large. Kenmore Elite line appliances are not budget models. The value received is middle of the pack for premium lines. Some are better. Many are worse.

Long ago, I thought that a Kenmore dishwasher was a nice one, but I was real disappointed with the quality of the product and chose another brand when we replaced our dishwasher. But the buttons on the Kenmore dishwasher were easy to read, therefore making it easy to operate. It seemed to do a good job cleaning the dishes and for a low cost dishwasher we were pleased. The main thing that we did not like about this dishwasher was the fact that it did not have the stainless steel insides, like the nicer Bose that we now own. So it stained very easy and was hard to clean.

This worked well when we first got it. Stopped working not even a year later. The heating element went up in it!!! Wouldnt recommend this brand. This works well for a small family. Holds a lot of dishes and glasses and pots and pans. Will hold glass Pyrex dishes well and larger pots and pans. Our model was white. The buttons lasted well. The dial was a bit outdated. Hard to keep clean. Easy to wipe down. Would have liked a more modern feature other than the dial. For the price we paid for the item, it should have lasted much longer than not even quite a year. I feel that we way overpaid for this item. Wouldnt purchase this brand ever again.

I am happy with my Kenmore Elite and think it is top quality. Have had no problems with it and it works steadily with little noise. My Kenmore Elite fits all the dishes/glasses/pans I wash in it and I use it all of the time. Perceived value of my Kenmore Elite is more than I paid for it when you realize that you will receive many years of fine working from this appliance for the small price you originally paid for it. You get your moneys worth from this appliance in the long run so it is worth a little extra for more features too.

This dishwasher fits well with anyones budget. Its not too much at all. It is definitely worth the price to pay. It lives up to the Kenmore reputation.

Kenmore has a long lasting reputation in my community as well as others. It is appealing to a family and not just a person. It is a relatable brand with great advertising and its products really do provide the service that they say they should. Its efficient. It washes dishes perfectly clean the first time that I run the dishwasher and it does not take a very long time for the cycles to run through and it is aesthetically appealing as well. The only thing that I would improve is the longevity of the product but even then Im not sure how long they actually last because Ive had mine so long and Ive never had a problem.

Style is appropriate for variety of kitchen styles. Works perfectly in our small country kitchen but would also fit beautifully in a more modern decor. Average, affordable price. Easily comparable to higher end machines. I find this dishwasher to be a good value for the money based on the overall style and function. Weve had no problem with the machine.

Washes well, easy to use, dishwasher runs very quietly. There are lots of options to choose from which will help with the cycle you need to run based on the dishes you have used and how dirty they are. Silverware holder is in the bottom rack which doesnt allow you to get as many plates are large items, I usually run my dishwasher about every 3-4 days and we are a family of 4. I am not fond of the black plastic at the top with the stainless steel look, I would rather have the entire thing stainless to match the rest of the items in my kitchen and also having the buttons in the front allow little hands to be reaching and touching them, which may cause some of the cycles to mess up. I would say these are great for the value, they last 8-10 yrs depending on the use and how much they are used. My last Kenmore lasted 11 years, the racks started breaking and rusting up.

I couldnt wait to get this pair, the washer and dryer plus the 2 pull-out drawers. Ive had them for several years purchased at Sears, in the mall at Lawton, OK. MY HUSBAND AND I BEGIN to notice a foul odor and couldnt figure out where it was coming from. Finally, I found it inside my washer and my clean clothes smelled like a dirty wet dishrag. I even found about 5 socks in the rubber part and they were so slimy and stunk. I threw them away. When I wash inside the rubber, black gunk comes out on my rag I spent over 2,000.00 on these. Now I’m finding out that everyone I know is having the same problems.If there is a lawsuit on these stinkers please include me. I may have got these in my husband’s name, James **. We got the first ones in dark charcoal and I exchanged them at the Lawton Sears. The first ones I got at Sears first was in Wichita Falls, TX. MALL. I DECIDED ON A LIGHTER COLOR. Thank you.

Our old dishwasher stopped working one day and we had to replace it. We bought a Kenmore because we love the brand. It works 10 times better than our old one and I have no complaints at all. For a family of seven people we have a ton of dishes but it washes everything easily every night. That’s breakfast, lunch and dinner including pots and pans that we use. It goes right along with other kitchen appliances very well. We also have a Kenmore fridge and they go perfect together even in our not so modern kitchen. It’s well worth the price. If you want a reliable and worthy dishwasher this is the way to go. No issues in 2 years of having it and I can’t say that about our last one.

After 3 years the bottom power wash blade has stopped working, and the appliance repairman said the motor is shot, and its leaking. He suggested buying a new dishwasher! I paid $1100 for this machine. No, I did not purchase an extended warranty. In addition around the same time I purchased a Sears side by side refrigerator that we keep in our garage. The temperature gauge had to be replaced as well. What has happened to Sears quality. I will never purchase another Sears appliance again.

We never expected to wash dirty dishes as we always pre-rinsed them but the dishwasher worked well and was relatively quiet and never broke down. The dishwasher held all our dishes and we never ran it everyday but rather about once a week for two of us. The dishwasher can hold a large load if it is filled properly and does a nice job on the dishes. We never put dishes that had food on them in the dishwasher and never expected it to clean food that was caked on. Our dishwasher was white and looked sleek and fit perfectly with the rest of the white appliances in the kitchen. Clean and smart is how I would describe it. Based upon our experience with the dishwasher, we received good value from it and the way it performed. It was not the most expensive model we could have bought but it was a model that we felt gave us more bang for our buck.

I bought it at Sears which is a name that I can trust and that is why I find Kenmore items to last longer and are very tough.

I re-piped the home in 2006 so I bought the best hot water heater available, a Kenmore 55 gal 12-year warranty. Sometime during 2010 the tank had a small leak. Sears Technician came out and said I could go pickup another tank at the local store in Ft. Myers, Florida. No problem. Trip to Lowes for a few parts then to Sears for a new tank then bam, it is installed.Sometime towards the end of February 2013 my wife said the tank was leaking on the floor. No big deal, I made 5 phone calls to 800-877-6420 just to setup the 1st tech appointment. A week later the Service-Technician came & said I had a cracked anode-rod, so he order another and rescheduled install appointment for 3/12/14, approximately 2-weeks later. Again no big deal, its a slowww leak somewhere on the top of the tank. But, on Saturday 3/8/14 the tank ruptured sometime in the night. I was awoke around 7:30 am by my neighbor telling me that water was flowing out of my garage and down the street. I shut off the main water valve and started calling the 800-877-6420 number again. Each time I called I was transferred to someone that could not help me. On the 3rd call someone recommended I called back 8:30-9:00 am, maybe the department was not open yet. At this point, I have been waiting for ~ 3 weeks for a hot-water-heater to be repaired. Where is the service? I wanted a Technician visit today but was given an appointment for Monday. I have a wife and 2 kids (6 y.o and 10 month) and it is winter in Florida. Yes its warm during the day. While the wife and I could survive without hot water the kids would not be so happy. Remember, I turned off the main-water-valve to stop the flood, so there is no water to flush toilets, dishes or laundry. The house was built in 1985. I have added valves now so we will be able to isolate the hot water heater in the future. Where is the service? With no water I went to Sears and bought another heater and installed it this Saturday.Service-Technician (very nice) came Monday 3/10/14 and confirmed ruptured tank and changed my $80. The Technician said I may have a faulty ground-wire so since I was paying him I asked him to check it. The wire turned out normal. Why do I need to pay? Whatever, paying $80 is worth getting my $500 back that I paid for the replacement on Saturday. Today is Tues 3/11/14 and I have not been contacted for my tank replacement. Where is the service? If I had not replaced the tank over the weekend we would still be without water (hot or cold). From what I can tell the service issues start with 1) the employees that answer the phones (it really takes more than 1 phone call for service?). 2) The lack of urgency to correct the problem (It takes weeks). 3) The lack of follow through on service. Im told this is season and this is the reason Sears is behind. I would suggest triage service calls.As a side note that is semi funny: When I bought the new hot-water-heater this Saturday I was asked if I wanted a Service protection plan. I declined stating that it takes Sears to long to fix such an important machine. We had to turn off the main-water-valve to the entire house. Where is the service. Think of it this way. Would you like to pay an extra $150.00 on top of the cost of the hot-water-heater and wait 3 plus weeks for service?

The Kenmore dishwasher uses a reasonable amount of energy and water. The dishes come out clean after one wash. I never have to run it more than once a day. Plus, there is enough room to hold several days worth of dishes. It fits well in my kitchen without taking up too much cabinet space. Its sleek and looks classy. The clean look goes well any time of the year with any aesthetic changes I make based on upcoming holidays, events, etc. It is worth the money for the quality. The features help pay for itself over the years. If bought again, I would make the same purchase.

It was on sale, is the main reason i purchased this Kenmore dishwasher. It was between this and a LG, but Kenmore was 100 dollars cheaper, and I couldnt be more pleased with the results. It worked very well. Everything always came out super clean, and the dryer function was top of the line. Never had any issues with spots on glasses, plates, or silverware. I will probably use it until it dies out, which knowing their products, will be a long long time from now.

I chose this machine because of its reputation. I researched brand, and Kenmore had wonderful reviews. People were happy with most models and long performance. I really like how my Kenmore dishwasher has several cycles to wash the dishes. I can do a quick clean, or the ultimate scrub that lasts 99 minutes. It’s the longest cycle that sanitized the dishes. I like that cycle, but dont always need it. I could use one right below it, about 70 minutes, that still scrubs, but maybe not sanitize.

Not powerful at cleaning. It would generally leave food residue on plates and glass ware. Only lasted two years before it needed to be replaced. The dishwasher size was pretty good. It had enough rack space and the silverware area was respectable to hold all the necessary items. I think little bit more of an adjustment wouldve been an order so that you could get longer or should say taller items in the dishwasher. The parents of the dishwasher fit nicely into my kitchen, match the rest of my appliances and I thought that it function appropriately with the Decor. I thought the price was a little high for the quality. After I was using it for a while I figured that the price I was paying for it and from what I was told by the salesman that would be a good dishwasher but unfortunately it turned out not to be that way for the price.

We have had this for quite some time and have NEVER had any issues with it. Great qualities, amazing performance, etc. If you need a daily used dishwasher Id recommend this one. We now have a family of seven. It will fit all plates, cups, silverware, pans or pots used to cook dinner plus any extra dishes from lunch or breakfast. Black, shiny, doesnt stand out too much but just enough to look good with any kitchen color. The color has never faded and the buttons still look great. Its value was so worth what we paid. The appearance, size, continence all makes up for the amount we paid. Also the delay start adds a plus to it.

Water heats well... Dishes are not just cleaned but sterilized. Glasses look great as do utensils. Its reliable, easy to use. Convenient. I can get pots and large dishes (like platters) in without problems. Tall glasses fit better on the bottom shelf and I place large serving and cooking spoons, knives and forks flat in the shelf. Nice, clean lines, lights are easy to see and the dials are easy to read. Like the way it compliments my other appliances. Husband likes it well, also as he often loads it. Does a good job w/ economical time and limited water usage. It quickly pays for itself w/ the economical usage and quickness in cleaning.

Any place Ive moved to live always has at least two appliances that are Kenmore brand. Ive known and used Kenmore appliances for years and feel their products are of good quality. I liked the built in smart wash heated rinse and dry. It also seems to not leave the metallic smell, taste and feel of the type of dishwasher detergent I use. Felt it was more sanitary that way. However, a glass front window would be nice and feature to add. For the most part, I am happy with my Kenmore purchase as this is a brand I often use when shopping for household appliances. You pay for what you get.

Its nice to look at, doesnt make a lot of noise and does the job well. It washes the dishes so you dont have to, making life much easier. I have kids so anytime I can make well used is worth it for sure. I can fit everything I use in there. Cup, plates, spoons, forks, knives, bowls and cups and coffee cups and wash them with water and soap. Its easy, put them in dirty, and come out clean. I love my dishwasher. I use it everyday. Its a nice looking dishwasher. It goes with my kitchen. Its not in the way. It helps me save time and money. Its a space saver and does what it does well while looking beautiful. Its a great value for anybody who can afford one.

Purchased all new Kenmore Elite Appliances for my new home 5 years ago. Within 3 months our dishwasher just stopped working. Repairman came out and had to order parts. Still didnt work after parts were installed. I was told by Sears if I purchased an extended warranty they would replace it. During this time there was a recall on our Kenmore elite washing machine. Repairman came and replaced recalled part. Washer doesnt clean as well since part has been replaced. Now 3 days before Thanksgiving the Kenmore Elite Refrigerator has just quit cooling. Everything in freezer and refrigerator ruined. Cannot get a repairman until the day after Thanksgiving.
