This dishwasher seems to take a long time to wash the dishes. You have to rinse everything off well before loading the dishwasher. Dishes are still wet when the dishwasher is done.

It work well from the first day I brought it until now. I love my new Kenmore and I had it for one year now. Its a good machine and it meets all yours needs and all of its expectations. It get your dishes nice and clean. It dry your dishes very well and you dont have to worry about wet dishes. Just use the right amount of dish detergent, and always use Jet-Dry dish detergent to keep your dishes nice, clean and dry.

Performance is high function and relatively easy to perform at its best. Every glass and dishware I have put in comes out sparkly clean. The size of dishwasher is amazing. I can nearly fit whatever dishes I have used at dinner. The most surprising event was in thanksgiving I was able to fit all the plates in this washer and still is effective. I am happy about the appearance of my dishwasher. It looks plain. Nothing extraordinary but the effect it has on my dishes is AMAZING. It looks like silver clear reflection. The dishwasher is on the more expensive side. I am satisfied with the value I bought it for. If the product dishwasher wasnt as effective as it seems I would not bought it for its price.

The Kenmore we had was in our townhouse when we purchased it. It was a few years old and didnt have the features we wanted in a dishwasher. It was not a very efficient machine but did the job...for a while. Thats the only good thing about it, but we didnt dislike anything it did. It was an entry model, no bells or whistles. It did not have special racks that moved, it didnt have fold down racks and two washing wands, it only had one small utensil holder and no place for larger items. We soon replaced it and now have a Bosch dishwasher and are very pleased. I am sure Kenmore has better models now, but we wanted a Bosch.

The reason I purchased a Kenmore dishwasher over other brands is because all my life I have bought the Kenmore brand. My family has bought the Kenmore brand. It literally gleams when cleaned with dish soap and water. We bought our refrigerator on sale. It was an excellent value when compared with other refrigerators the same height and cubic feet. Our old dishwasher stopped working one day and we had to replace it. We bought a Kenmore because we love the brand. It works 10 times better than our old one and I have no complaints at all. For a family of seven people we have a ton of dishes but it washes everything easily every night. That’s breakfast, lunch and dinner including pots and pans that we use. It goes right along with other kitchen appliances very well. We also have a Kenmore fridge and they go perfect together even in our not so modern kitchen. It’s well worth the price. A great way to make sure everything gets done on time: Start it up at night. When you wake up in the morning your dishes will have that fresh clean smell and ready to be used. Its get tough spots undone. Bad and good experience at that same time because the quality was not what I thought it would be. It still got the job done.

Kenmore is a well-known trusted name brand of appliances and youre always guaranteed ticket a good working appliance. The Kenmore Elite Dishwasher has been one of my favorite ones because it cleans dishes so well and you dont have to run it several times to get the food off of the dishes. I would like to see Kenmore design a dishwasher where the top rack was not so shallow, maybe move it down and give it a little more room for taller things go on top, such as your taller glasses and cups. We purchased a top of the line dishwasher 2 years ago (Kenmore Elite). All of our appliances are Kenmore. It was around $700-$800. It quit advancing the washing cycle. It would cost us $600 just for the part to fix it and Kenmore pretty much told us sorry about your luck. Needless to say, we will purchase future appliances from Lowes or Home Depot.

Kenmore is a brand that I know and trust from my youth into my adult age. With that and my understanding and research of other brands, I decided to move forward with the brand I trusted most. All of the features of the dishwasher appeal to me as I had a dumb basic dishwasher previously that could barely operate, so just the basic fact that this operated was a huge improvement over my previous dishwasher. It is cheap and simple but it could improve to work more towards automation and clean smart washing of dishes to allow for varying loads which use the most efficient water based on load. And on smart cleaning, if it could sense and focus on items which it may see as the most dirty for more cleaning than the other dishes.

Sometimes it doesnt seem to get the dishes done or clean. Doesnt get them dry. Sometimes I have to redo them even with using the products that it recommends. Its just two of us in the house, it takes a couple of days to get enough to wash. Its small enough for my very small kitchen, it fits in a small space and it is easy to hook up to the garage disposal. Its white and plain. I didnt want anything with too many buttons or too hard to clean. It cleans off without too much effort and I like that. I can just use a cloth to clean the front off. It wasnt high priced so it was easy to purchase. It was very heavy to carry in the house. I liked it cause of its low price since that is how I shop.

I had tried Maytag and it didnt do such a good job. My sister recommended the Kenmore and I tried it and there was no looking back. My cousin tried a Whirlpool and within two months he bought a Kenmore also. I purchased another Kenmore when I needed a new one. The jet sprayers needs to be tweaked a little. It could clean the dishes on the top rack better. Although it dries the dishes good it could be at a higher temperature. I liked the way you didnt have to prewash the dishes. And the way it dried the dishes better than the Maytag I owned previously.

Paid big bucks for the Kenmore Elite dishwasher (Model 665.1279) and it has leaked and bulked my hardwood floors. After supposedly repairing my dishwasher it has leaked again and another part ordered. Not only have I been weeks without a dishwasher it is still not repaired and waiting for another part. This dishwasher should have been recalled due to a problem with the motor and other faulty parts. I will never depend on Kenmore for my appliances. Kenmore has failed its customers. Supposedly I was supposed to have a call from damage claim but have not heard. One problem is that Sears has only people that cant understand English and lack communications problems, therefore this presents a problem in getting results. Will never buy another Kenmore product.

Kenmore dishwasher was the best price at the time. My mom had the same one and also liked it. Though, I did not like the seal on the door. It leaked once in a while. I also did not like the latch on the door I was not sure if was locked. But I like the hot drying feature, the black face, the racks and silverware racks. I felt it did a good job and was a good value and it saved energy use. I think it was a fine purchase and I would buy one again.

Dishes are clean with minimal rinsing. Mostly comes out of the dishwasher with no spots and water marks. It tends not to leave my glass bowls and dishes cloudy. I am happy to load a normal days dishes plus a bit more. It fits into the space it is designed for, it blends well into my cupboards bigger plates, and pots fit ok. The black finish matches my darker cupboards and kind of blend in. I like the way it looks even though I have stainless other appliances on my white cupboards. We were able to buy it on sale. Larger the size lets load more dishes and wash less. This lets us save energy water and soap. We are happy with the price we paid.

No problems fitting in pots and pans. Top shelf held dishes, bowls and glasses. Plain front standard white. Easy to clean and did not stain. User controls were tilted at an angle towards the user. The drain was easy to clear when needed. Better value than an entry level washer. It did perform at a reasonable volume while also cleaning the dishes. Had no issues with dishes coming out dirty.

Not only is it old it is loud and it has a problem shutting off after the wash cycle. It is an ongoing problem. Most of the time after it finishes wash cycle it remain on and we have to throw the circuit breaker to get it to turn off. It does a good job cleaning the dishes and holds a good sized load.

Its amazing, the best dishwasher I have ever owned and I definitely recommend to anyone. It is a must buy. My dishes are so clean and spotless every time. There isnt much to say about the size of this dishwasher. Its perfect. Not too big not too small. So much room for many dishes. Thats about all I can say about the size of this dishwasher. Its sleek and modern. It looks beautiful in the kitchen and easily matches other appliances. I cant say much more about the appearance of this dishwasher other than its amazing and I love it. This dishwasher is definitely worth what you pay for it. And also the warranty is worth getting too so if anything happens it will be taken care of, no problem. I definitely say this dishwasher has a great value.

My Kenmore dishwasher has done an excellent job cleaning dishes but was a little louder than I anticipated. Im not talking about having to shout over it. Just a little loud motor. I have the 24 inch built-in dishwasher. Sharp looking exterior. Enough room inside for my dishes, mixing bowls, and pots. Enamel colored slots have typical separations. Sharp looking exterior. As mine is a built in, I only see the front of the dishwasher but am quite impressed. Purchased mine in white. Appears to be easily wiped clean. I felt as if I received great value for the money. I have had a very positive experience so my opinion may be a bit biased. I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone.

I have a light and heavy selection, heat on or heat off. I really like both of these options. It holds a lot of dishes and that is another thing I like about it. It is a 24 inch built in. It is very easy to move out if ever needed. It sits right next to my sink and has a big counter top above it. It is handy to use especially if my little granddaughter wants to help me. It is all white and matches all other appliances, and my cabinets are white, so it all fits together really well. The buttons are easy to use and see and is not very loud when running. It came in our condo but it is the cheapest one and works well. It is the 24 inch built in one in white and I have had it for 11 years and it still works completely like new.

It works well and fast and washes all the dishes fast. It also comes at a cheap price for me, and it is very good value. It can fit basically all of my items. I myself use a lot of plates, bowls, and many utensils to cook and I can fit them all in one wash. It doesnt really look much because dishwashers werent really built to look too nice... My dishwasher`s performance is satisfactory. So far I had no issues or any troubles with it. It works good and is fully functional as promised in the description. Model 665.1396 Although this dishwasher cleaned very well and is super quiet, the first year the something needed to be replaced under warranty. The second, a part of the rack dry rotted and I bought the part on eBay for $25 and fixed it. The third year, the thermocouple went and again I replaced it myself. $50. This is the fourth year weve had this and the control panel wont light and looks like it is one of two $130 parts. I give up and will be looking for a new dishwasher. I wont cry when Sears goes out of business. Raise your quality manufacturing standards and stand behind your products. So obvious, I dont know what CEOs get paid for.

I am an owner of the Kenmore Elite dishwasher that I have bought in 2004 (8 years ago) from Sears Canada (model 666.16462300; SER FR1509082). Ive been told that the dishwasher was made by Whirlpool. It has been a good dishwasher aside that the door was noisy. Last night when I turned it on there was a black smoke with smell of burned rubber and flames coming out from the top of the door and one can see sparks behind the buttons as well. I just want owners of the same dishwasher be aware of the potential fire hazard. If we weren’t home when it happened, we could have lost our house. Multiple times I have tried to contact both Sears and Whirlpool to file a complaint and to ensure a follow up, but nobody is interested to come and look at the dishwasher to establish what the issue was unless Im willing to pay for it. I dont care about repairing the old one. I just want my dishwasher incident investigated for safety of other consumers.

We purchased this dishwasher in February 2017 to replace our 17 year old unit. Ratings appeared to be positive for this unit. We have to prewash everything we put into this unit! Even then, they will sometimes pick up crud we might have missed. I was totally spoiled with our old dishwasher, also a Kenmore. The only thing that would sometimes stick, was melted on cheese. What good is a dishwasher, if you have to prewash the dishes before using it? Can hardly wait for it to break, so it can be replaced! Probably not in my lifetime, given I usually opt to just hand wash our dishes at this point. Grrr! If a representative from Sears would like to contact me, they are more than welcome to do so. I love all the Kenmore brands. Ive always shopped Sears for my washer and dryer or my dishwasher or fridge, microwave. My washer and dryer works like a charm. They work great. I wont buy anything but a Kenmore. Used this brand for years. My mother always bought Kenmore when I was younger. Kenmore is a well-known brand. They look great even after having them for a couple of years now. They are a classic. They never get old. A great value. Love shopping for the Kenmore brand. They are the best. Kenmore and I go way back in time together. Money well spent.

I use the dishwasher a lot, had no problem with it, and no repairs needed. It cleans dishes great. Used cascade with it, cleans everything off and no water spots. It fits all of my items inside and fits right beside my sink. Great with pans and pots, work amazingly well with glasses, and the sliding tray is a lifesaver. The size and the appearance are great. Outside needs to be cleaned sometimes but it looks great with the overall kitchen decor. Cleaning it with soap and water usually does the trick but doesnt get that dirty that often. The dishwasher works great, and has a great height and width. It would sell for a good price. I love it.

This model is an 2002 Kenmore Elite dishwasher. Still works OK. Needs to be replaced but very dependable. Will look at another Kenmore, or Whirlpool.

I have had no problems with this dishwasher. It takes care all the food scum on the plates and is extremely useful for large pans and cookie trays. I am able to load quite a bit. We are a family of four and my children are constantly using cups and never washing them out. Im extremely happy! I wish it came in a different color, however Im grateful that the previous owners left this behind. It is outdated. However there is no rust or broken items on it. The wear and tear on it has lasted. I would not hesitate in buying or replacing this dishwasher with the same brand.

This dishwasher cleans dishes ok. I still need to a good rinse because food residue may still be on my dishes. It is quiet in a small townhouse. It does not have many settings. This dishwasher is big enough for one person. If you have more than one person, it will fill up fast. If I had to do it again, I would go for an upgraded dishwasher. Kenmore Dishwasher is a great size. I have a family of five and I always have enough room. I put the pots and plates on the bottom, and the cups and bowls on the top. I dont even have to rinse dishes off before putting in. They come out sparkling every time and it makes doing dishes so much easier. I love the appearance. It is stainless steel just like all the other appliances in my kitchen. And, the price is so worth every penny! You could get a cheaper dishwasher but that is exactly what it will be. It is energy efficient. Quiet. It powerfully cleans my dishes without a hitch. Its a gorgeous addition to our family kitchen. Its spray arm is powerful and scrubs heavily crusted plates without leaving behind any residue, at least that has been my experience. I fit up to a setting of eight though its capacity is up to ten plate settings. Its compact but powerful cleans dishes that are piled up. It is gorgeous, sleek, compact (but tall) and surface is easy to clean. It isnt bulky, giving it a modern and efficient appearance. Its about 36 inches tall and it is very deep. It is very inexpensive for what it can do. It is energy efficient with many settings to accommodate your loads. It is also easy to self install if you dont want Sears service people (or anybody else) to assist with installation.

Big enough for a small family, but if you have a lot of people living in the house you may need something a bit bigger. It is big enough to hold large dishes, smaller pots and pans. Appearance you would probably expect from a new appliance. It is white and therefore shows dirt but is easy to clean and actually doesnt get dirty often. The price was very affordable even for a smaller dishwasher if you shop at the right place. It is a more of a basic model but has enough punch for the price.

In ten years weve never had a issue. We bought our Sears Kenmore dishwasher about 10 years ago and we also purchased and have maintained the extended warranty. We take advantage of the annual maintenance visit from Sears and to this day, weve never had a single complaint or issue with the machine. It still works like new. This dishwasher was purchased brand new in 2013. By 2016 we had to completely replace the core mechanical guts of this dishwasher. And now in January 2019 it is failing again. When it works it does a great job. But what kind of appliance which cost $1000 has a life expectancy of three years before needing its entire motor assembly to be replaced. And then two years after that it is not working. Kenmore is garbage! No wonder Sears is going under. Apparently Kenmore is made by Whirlpool. They should be ashamed of themselves. Do not buy a Kenmore dishwasher before reading the plethora of bad reviews.

It got the dishes clean enough, but sometimes required a little extra hand wash on some it couldnt get. Aside from that, it was a great performing dishwasher and I had no other complaints. The dishwasher could fit normal dinner dishes; i.e plates, bowls, cups, etc. very well. However, when it comes to pots and pans, this dishwasher would not be my number one choice. The dishwasher had a very nice, smooth, and shiny exterior surface. It did not scratch too easily. When you open up the dishwasher, the racks have a nice color that matches the rest of the dishwasher. For the amount I paid for this dishwasher, it definitely did enough. I got plenty of bang for my buck, as you hip young fellas say nowadays.

Often set it to run in the night and operated quietly. It was always big enough to hold several meals worth of dishes thereby allowing for us to only run it every other day. Some visitors even commented on how nice the piece looked in our kitchen which I found interesting. Price was about what youd expect to pay for a dishwasher and I felt like the Kenmore brand was a quality brand that spoke for itself.

It functions, cleans my dishes nice, quickly, efficiently. My only issue is it rusts very easy. I need to continuously paint over the rust with a product for that every few months/washes. Its big enough. Not too big. It can easily hold the dishes for a family of four, with give or take a little bit of room left for surplus dishes. It does not take up too much space. What I got was reasonably priced. For the functionality, its good. I think however next time Id purchase a more premium quality one to avoid rusting out so quickly.

I researched and read many reviews before deciding on this dishwasher. It was reasonably priced for a dishwasher with a stainless steel interior, and is extremely quiet when running. It is very basic, but offers an energy saving cycle, which I always use.

After my KitchenAid lasted only five years, this Kenmore Elite has been a lifesaver. In nine years I have not experienced any leaks, food buildup, or any significant issues with cleaning. The top racks hold a variety of glasses, including wine or champagne, small dishes and bowls and coffee pots. The bottom rack is user friendly where I can put a weeks worth of dinner dishes, bowls, and soup bowls. As the KitchenAid runs the noise is very minimal and unobtrusive. I would purchase this model again.

I did not purchase the dishwasher. It happened to come with the home I purchased. However that being said I was not displeased with the appliance as I knew Kenmore was a trusted brand in appliances. There was an On/off switch for the heat for the dry cycle. It was programmable for delayed wash and the dishwasher was also large capacity with a roomy interior and easy to load dish racks. However, the dishwasher was an older model that did not clean my dishes as well if the dishes were not pre-rinsed and it was very loud sounding. We likened it to a plane taking off. But overall it was Satisfactory.

I purchased a Kenmore dishwasher in June of 2018. The dishwasher is now leaking. I called customer service and spoke with two people who could barely speak English. There is a 1 year manufacturers warranty on the product but I was told that if the technician that came out determined that the problem was not covered under the warranty I would have to pay a $150 service fee! What kind of warranty is that? I will never purchase an appliance from Kenmore or Sears ever again!!! Horrible experience!

Kenmore has many different types of dishwashers and quite a few different styles and colors too. This dishwasher fits well in my small kitchen. It also holds all of my dirty dishes at once. I only have to run it once a day or at least every other day. I have discovered that using Cascade dishwasher soap is the best one to use for washing the dishes. You dont have to use a lot of soap. It also dries the dishes fast. The appearance is just plain so that it will match any style of your kitchen area. It is average sized so it can fit in almost any sized kitchen room. This dishwasher fits well with anyones budget. Its not too much at all. It is definitely worth the price to pay. It lives up to the Kenmore reputation.

I have a very busy schedule and I am not able to physically wash dishes so I needed something that would ultimately help me in doing so. I decide to look online and see what was the best deal and dishwasher brand for me. I wanted something that was reliable and worked well so I would have no problem doing what I needed to do as a baby sitter. The Kenmore is really great. The features that I like about the dishwasher is that it actually cleans thoroughly.Other dishwashers leave residue on the dishes but this one does not. However, I dont like that it does not hold more dishes that I want it to. Although, all in all, it works well. The reason why I chose Kenmore is because I heard a lot of good things about it from family members and the reviews were great as well. I also thought the pricing was a good value for it. I also love the stainless steel color that they had. I love my Kenmore dishwasher because it is reliable, works fast and does a great job. This dishwasher totally met my expectations!

The problem I have had is with the change in the ingredients in dishwasher detergent! Its not the dishwashers fault! I bought some plain citric acid, and that has solved the problem of dishes not coming out sparkling clean! Plenty of cycles, including pots and pans and a china setting, which I have used for my knick knacks. Also, a time-delay, which is very handy, as is the Quick Rinse feature. Also has a water-heating setting, and either a heated drying or air drying. Its plenty big, does a service for eight serving dishes, silverware in a basket. One of which closes (for little things), and a small basket in front for utensils and plenty of top space for glassware and small plates. I got a shiny black front to my dishwasher to match the other kitchen appliances; I find it quite attractive! My dishwasher is quite old; its 13 and still running just fine. Only one service call, many years ago to unclog a little drain, which the repairman showed me how to check myself. Some of the tines on the baskets are damaged, but its way too expensive to get new replacements, and its not that big of a problem. The dishwashers does a load everyday.

It worked and washed really good, no spots or anything. Great service. The experience was to have my dishes spotless was amazing, never had anything this amazing. It was a good size, just some faults here and there but overall, really good and compact size for my home. Doesnt take a lot of space. Looked clean and really well-polished. The colors are simple and basic, fit my home perfectly. I also loved how easy it is to operate it, really good product. Leaning a little bit towards expensive, but overall good value for everything I get. Thank you for the really good price that your company put out there.

It does a good job. Haven’t had it but a year but it is very nice clean looking, does a great job of cleaning dishes. The compartments inside are nice and easy to use and hold a lot of dishes very well. It’s very good size, fits the space I have for it very well, not bulky and doesnt take up too much space in the kitchen. Works very well with the dimension that we wanted. Love the appearance. It’s really what first sold me on it as I wanted something simple not too messy with lots of buttons on the outside, sleek blends into the kitchen space very nicely. Bought it on a small sale but from talking to other owners it sounded like I got a great deal, and definitely not going to complain about that.

I previously had a Maytag which stopped working immediately after the warranty expired. When attempting to have it repaired, I was shocked to discover that the repair would cost more than purchasing another dishwasher. Thats when I purchased a Kenmore. The Kenmore dishwasher was attractive, easy to use, dependable and quiet. I liked the way the racks accommodated different sizes of dishes and pans. It had plenty of room for everything. It met all my needs. Im still using it and have had no problems in two years.

Efficient Dishwasher--cleans well. Rack is appropriate for a variety of sizes. Could be quieter. Exterior is easy to maintain. Nice, sleek appearance. Can easily manage a variety of sizes and is ample enough to hold a couple of days worth for a family of three. Utensils Basket is adequate. Some larger mugs are difficult to place. Style is appropriate for variety of kitchen styles. Works perfectly in our small country kitchen but would also fit beautifully in a more modern decor. Average, affordable price. Easily comparable to higher end machines. I find this dishwasher to be a good value for the money based on the overall style and function. Weve had no problem with the machine.

I purchased 3 Kenmore appliances in January. The refrigerator is a basic top mount freezer, lower refrigerator. It was installed in late January. For over a month the freezer has had ice buildup inside, causing the freezer door to push out. I am now on the 3rd service call--actually 4th. The first call to repair, sent a dishwasher repair person--so much for out-sourcing our calls. The gentleman who came the first time, said a part had come off the top of the freezer. Being the saving person I am, I had found and saved said part. He installed and caulked it. (Also convinced me to buy a service agreement--thank you for that.) That made it worse.Second visit he caulked all around the edges of the freezer. Again this made it worse. The ice buildup is also causing my refrigerator to run more often. I am up to 3rd visit this am. Thus I have wasted 4 days of my time waiting upon repair. The refrigerator was on sale and cost 564.29. Each of the repair visit receipts have been for 220.32. Thus this visit exceeds the cost I paid. I have always purchased Sears appliances--and I am old--64. I am most disappointed and would like a new refrigerator.

Tonight, my Kenmore Elite 665 model control panel caught on fire. I was upstairs and my two daughters were yelling that something was burning. I came downstairs to find my kitchen full of smoke. The front of my dishwasher, the plastic has melted and there was soot on the stainless steel. We opened the control panel and everything was melted. I can not imagine what would have happened if I were not home. I have tried to call Kenmore but I was transferred 3 times. I want this thing replaced, I know it is not the first time this has happened. We are not the original owners, if it broke fine, but this could have burned our home down or injured someone in my family. Doesnt Sears or Kenmore care about that? I have seen numerous complaints about this same issue online. People have gone to the local news agencies just to get the word out. Do I need to take it that far? I need something done rather quickly to fix this situation. I have photos that I can pass on.

Sears and Kenmore both made it easy for me to cross them off my list for future appliance purchases. If I cant trust them with a small appliance like a microwave, I know I wont be able to trust them with a large purchase. No one should have to replace a microwave after just two years, especially when its kept in pristine condition. My microwave was great when it worked, easy to clean and large interior. Then it started rotating and heating when I opened the door (dangerous). Then when door was closed, food was placed inside and you would expect it to heat something, it would instead countdown and nothing happened. Only thing that worked was the timer.For months I contacted Kenmore on FB privately showing them video of both issues and their response was basically, Im sorry for your troubles, theres nothing we can do. I have a dishwasher with another company that messed up and they actually cared about making things right. I wouldve easily bought a replacement, but the dont care attitude keeps me from replacing my Kenmore microwave with another Kenmore microwave. After just 2 years, Id expect more.

Cleans stuck on baked on foods. No pre-rinsing needed with this dishwasher. Does also clean without detergent if you run out. Water gets very hot during cleaning cycle. All dishes cleaned in all areas. This dishwasher has a compact look in the kitchen but has very large interior capacity for plates, cups, bowls, and pots and pans. Easily cleans all dishes and silverware for a large family dinner dish collection. The dishwasher has a beautiful slim sleek design perfectly matching fingerprint proof appliances of similar color. Lovely facade. Easy touch buttons. This appliance in comparison to similarly designed dishwashers is a very good value. Moderately priced with maximum function and capabilities.

Kenmore is a well known brand of kitchen appliances and it did meet my expectations in every way. It was a really good dishwasher and never had any problems whatsoever with it. But, I dislike how water stayed in the bottom of mine after the wash cycle. I’m not sure if it was just a defect in the one I had bought but I loved everything else about it. I also like that it really does good with getting the dishes clean and I feel like they always had a streak free shine and a good heated wash cycle and left my dishes smelling good every time.

This dishwasher is now close to 10 years old. It still runs and cleans dishes just as well as it did when new. I have never had to have any repair work done on it, and find it is one of my most reliable appliances. Both the upper and lower baskets are very roomy. Even with my large family, I can fit all of a weeks dishes--including pots and pans into one load. There is enough space between the two baskets for taller dishes, and enough space up top for taller glasses. The stainless steel front blends nicely with most kitchen decors. Plus, the stainless steel is easy to keep clean. Its black accents match other appliances in my kitchen. Overall, even though its almost 10 years old, it still has a modern look that enhances my kitchens appearance. I have many times over gotten the value for the money paid for this dishwasher. It is economical in its water usage, and its dependability has saved me from spending money to repair or replace it.

The dishwasher requires a lot of prewashing in order to really clean the dishes. I am disappointed in its performance. I would not buy another or recommend this dishwasher to anyone else. The size is practical and it fits well in the space provided. The ability for it to hold a number of dishes in an easy to organize way is a plus of this machine. The dishwasher is attractive on the inside and outside. It is easy to clean and it maintains its exterior good looks. The inside requires frequent cleaning, as it gets moldy. This was an inexpensive machine but I still expected it to work better. Since it does not thoroughly cleans the dishes it is not a great value.

This is a very efficient and energy effective dishwasher. My dishes come out very clean and spotless. I am very satisfied with this appliance. The size is very large but that is understandable for the amount of power it has and it holds a lot of dishes which is convenient with a family of 6 in our household. This Kenmore Elite dishwasher has a nice sleek appearance and does a good job in getting the dishes clean but it has a lot of plastic parts. After 2.5 years of use, the plastic wheels broke, the upper basket plastic parts began to deteriorate and had to be replaced. I felt for the price I paid, I should not have had to repair and replace parts so soon after initial purchase.

We didnt have any problems with the washer during our time with it. I would get another one when in the market for it. It was easy to use. We would usually have to leave the door open to finish air drying the dishes. I had it down to a science on how to fit everything in the washer for loads. It could usually fit everything we needed it to in one load. It seemed to the right fit for my family. It was your average appearance dishwasher. It wasnt flashy, which was fine for my household. I dont feel that our house would need a flashy or better-looking dishwasher. The dishwasher came with the house when we first bought it, so we werent the original owners. But I feel like I looked up how much it would to replace it if necessary and it was a good value for the money.

Its simple to operate and it saves on energy and cleans efficiently and is durable... There is little to no mess after you take your dishes out and it also is efficient with the use of cleaning agents. It doesnt make my kitchen look cluttered and also all of the wires and tubes for the water are hidden out of sight to make for a more safe area without having to worry about tipping over anything. The appearance of it I think has a very modern and sheen look... I chose it because it pretty much matches my other appliances... I would definitely recommend this product to others. I think I got a great value for the money I paid for it. There are many expensive brands as well as the one I have but its well worth the money.

Good machine. Dishes are always clean. It is water smart. Holds more dishes than most. Very quiet. Does not need a lot of dishwasher soap but still gets the dishes clean. Racks are large enough to hold most of my pans. It has two very large shelves. Only problem is that there is no place for the silverware. Quiet and gets the job done quickly. Dishes come out shining and all the food particles are gone. Very nice. If kept up the work put into fixing up was worth it. Easy to keep clean inside and out. Would recommend this dishwasher to anyone. Does a great job keeping the dishes and pots and pans clean. This dishwasher saves me time and energy. Would recommend this machine to anyone.

I have bought Kenmore for years. At first it was because Sears was the only convenient store where I could shop for appliances that had sales associates who could answer questions and help me compare products. The prices are competitive and always work well. The tray is adjustable so I can raise or lower it to accommodate different kinds of dishes and pans. I can used a cycle to rinse dishes and wait so I can save detergent and keep the kitchen clean. I can turn off the drying cycle to save energy. However, I find that there are too few options of how I can place items in the dishwasher. Mugs frequently either collect water on the bottom or are not cleaned adequately. There is no convenient place to put large utensils - spoons, spatulas etc... They are too high to put with the cutlery but take up too much room if I lay them flat on the top tray. Also, they are not cleaned well if I lay them flat.

Never had any problems with it. Did a very good job on all dishes and pans. QUIET! Would not trade it for anything. I love my dishwasher. Holds a big load or small and does a good job washing both. Holidays I really love my dishwasher. I can fill it up and not worry about pulling dirty dishes out. My dishes and pans come out clean every time. It fits within with the rest of my kitchen and there are many design to choose from. If you are remodeling or need a new dishwasher for your old kitchen there is a style to choose from. The value of my dishwasher now that I have had it a few years is priceless. If I had known what I was getting and how good it was (YES), I would have paid a lot more for it. I have had other dishwashers and to me they was all the same until I got this one. They are not the same.

It work great. I have had for a year and I use it every night and it get my dishes so clean and smell so good. I love it. Matches my kitchen and works well with my space limit and I dont have to wash them by hand. It is a solid dishwasher that can be used a lot and doesnt break down. It has high capacity and looks like it would last a long time. It cleans really well and is not too loud.

When I initially started the remodel of my kitchen, I wanted non-generic appliances that looked good and were energy efficient. Its high efficiency feature is why I purchased the dishwasher. I also wanted silver or black, so this is the model I ended up with. Its extremely loud during all cycles. The drain on it breaks every other time I used it and it only works without problems half of the time. That said, I dont use it often as I travel frequently, so Im not terribly concerned. Kenmore was recommended by my condo building maintenance guy. He installed it without giving me other options. I would have gone with a different model, but its good enough for me until I sell my condo.

I purchased a Kenmore Elite dishwasher with an extended warranty, and was installed on 6/27/11. It stopped working, so I called the service to request an appointment on 9/2/2011, but no one showed up or called. On 9/12/11, I requested another appointment, again, no one called/showed up. I asked to speak with a manager and was put on hold for 45 minutes, to no avail. We have scheduled another appointment, but I realized that they are totally unreliable. I may have to go outside for repair, and bill Sears. The dishwasher is less than 3 months old. Our previous washer (not a Sears), lasted over 18 years without any problem!

This dishwasher is mediocre. It cleans okay. I have never had rewash anything as long as I fill both soap dispensers. The big problem I have is with the door. I have to slam it shut or sooner or later it stops working until I slam it again. Which is a pain when I go to empty the clean dishes and the start button light is flashing on and off!

The Kenmore dishwasher does everything that I need a dishwasher to do which is to clean my dishes so I do not have to do them by hand. As a retired disabled American veteran with injuries from Vietnam the simple settings for washing dishes makes it easy for me to use. The settings are easy to understand and apply. It has been very dependable too. I have only had a repairman from Sears come to my condo only once and that was to replace the circuit board that had been fried from an electrical surge.

My dishwasher appearance is digital which has easy touch buttons that has a sensor blue light which it lets me know how long I have before finishing up cleaning the dishes. The dishwasher is of great value to me because it help save me a lot of time on the use of cleaning my dishes. It has cut my cleaning time in half. I am very pleased with my dishwasher.

Horrible product. Will not start when you push start? WHY?? You think it will start but it wants to think???? STUPID. I will not buy Kenmore again. I want a product that I CONTROL, NOT the other way around. I do NOT want a SMART dishwasher. I want one that does what I want when I want.

When youre raising a brood of boys that eat constantly, your Kenmore dishwasher never stops running! Keeping my dinnerware spotless for years too! I cook almost every meal at home for 4 people. I load breakfast, lunch AND dinner dishes throughout the day/evening with a little room to spare for a midnight snack. THEN, I turn it on before bed, ready for the next days meal. Wash, rinse, repeat! Dependable and reliable. Until the day I moved out of our 18 year residency of our first home, our Kenmore dishwasher kept the appearance of new! I hated to leave her behind! Any brand dishwasher, (Kenmore) that can last 18+ years IS A GREAT VALUE! My ex still lives in that home, my son recently out of the service, moved back in. Is still filling that Kenmore dishwasher since he was a teen. Id say... THATS A GOOD VALUE FOR OUR MONEY!

Its simple but amazing. The fact it helps, I use dishes a lot and it helps keep my kitchen 98% clean without the hassle. It helps me not have to wash them by hand. Im allergic to the soap. This dishwasher makes life so much easier for me and Im thankful for that. Im always on the go. Where my dishwasher is at is absolutely perfect. It fits in where its easier to put dishes in and still have room. Its by the sink so that makes sense. Its easy to maintain and keep going. I love my dishwasher. Its fantastic and cleans my dishes with very little effort. There is never any residue left on my dishes and it has excellent settings. It fits all my before and after dinner dishes quite well. The silverware holder is sturdy and doesnt move around a lot like a lot of other dishwashers I have owned in the past. Its black, which matches all of my kitchen appliances. The buttons and displays are easy to read and navigate. It blends into my kitchen rather than being obvious. I got it on sale at Lowes so I got a really good deal - but other than the cost of the dishwasher, it adds value to my kitchen because it saves me time.
