I have had no problems with this dishwasher. It takes care all the food scum on the plates and is extremely useful for large pans and cookie trays. I am able to load quite a bit. We are a family of four and my children are constantly using cups and never washing them out. Im extremely happy! I wish it came in a different color, however Im grateful that the previous owners left this behind. It is outdated. However there is no rust or broken items on it. The wear and tear on it has lasted. I would not hesitate in buying or replacing this dishwasher with the same brand.

I chose Kenmore Dishwashers because have a good reputation when it comes to their appliances. They deliver and install and I was able to find a good price. The reviews that I read during my research process were mostly positive. Also, I had a Kenmore dishwasher in an old apartment and I was satisfied with it. I like that it has different cycles for specific needs for dishes. The heat dry and the antibacterial option were great for sterilizing baby bottles, etc. I appreciated the non-drip tray for the dish liquid. I did not like how long it took to wash the dishes on the majority of the cycle options. Most of the time I couldnt hear the Done beep that is provided. Id rather it be louder or a music type of tune to be played so I can hear when its ready.

Compared to my previous dishwasher it runs much more quietly, it leaves less streaks in my glasses and silverware and dries out the dishes much better. Ultimately I cant make a bigger comparison here as its roughly the same size of my previous washer, but I can say that even with pretty full loads I have had no trouble loading up to capacity and felt I didn’t have enough space. I am a one who tends to appreciate minimalist design so I like uniform colors and the sleek metal look tends to match the décor of my kitchen very well. It was a fairly priced washer, I mean it didnt seem to be any more expensive or cheap than most of the comparable models when we purchased it.

This worked well when we first got it. Stopped working not even a year later. The heating element went up in it!!! Wouldnt recommend this brand. This works well for a small family. Holds a lot of dishes and glasses and pots and pans. Will hold glass Pyrex dishes well and larger pots and pans. Our model was white. The buttons lasted well. The dial was a bit outdated. Hard to keep clean. Easy to wipe down. Would have liked a more modern feature other than the dial. For the price we paid for the item, it should have lasted much longer than not even quite a year. I feel that we way overpaid for this item. Wouldnt purchase this brand ever again.

I bought a Kenmore dishwasher approximately 5 years ago. I have had to repair the same problem twice within the last two years and the same problem just occurred again! The soap dispenser door stops opening and it has been burnt on the back of the dispenser unit and the motherboard has burn marks where the dispenser plugs into it. This is the same problem three times now. Ive now spent over a thousand dollars to repair a $400 dishwasher! This third time I was done repairing it out of my pocket so I called the 18004MYHOME number and spoke with a rude alleged customer service representative. I explained my frustrations and acknowledged it wasnt his fault but was hoping Kenmore could repair it for me or offer a discount to buy another Kenmore dishwasher even though I really didnt want to. The guy kept repeating the same things and saying I cant get it repaired for free with a smug tone. I then stated that I have had no problem paying over a thousand dollars at this point just dont feel its right for me to pay again. And said Im buying a new dishwasher and was hoping you could offer anything to make me want to buy Kenmore again. He continued to have an attitude and I asked for a supervisor, he muted me and I kept asking for him to give me his name and transfer me to a supervisor and he hung up on me. I was on a landline so not a random disconnect. Also he had muted me several times throughout the call and would come back on. He was extremely rude and basically I will never want to be a Kenmore customer again. If you cant stand behind your product and realize that after three times of the same thing happening thats not a problem with the product then have customer service agents act disrespectful, rude and hang up on you, then I would recommend anyone to stay away from this company.

I would recommend the dishwasher. The performance is outstanding. It works great. It is very quiet compared to others I have used in the past. The performance on getting the dishes clean is awesome. I like the size of it. It is a perfect size. It fits perfect in my kitchen. It isnt that big like some dishwashers are. Some are really big and bulky to use. It has great reviews. Great dishwasher. I like the dishwasher a lot. The appearance and the style is perfect. It is good the appearance of the dishwasher and the working of it is outstanding. I like the value of it. The price was right and the prices of other dishwashers is good. Its good to use, the price was right who likes good prices at a decent price is always good to purchase a dishwasher.

It functions, cleans my dishes nice, quickly, efficiently. My only issue is it rusts very easy. I need to continuously paint over the rust with a product for that every few months/washes. Its big enough. Not too big. It can easily hold the dishes for a family of four, with give or take a little bit of room left for surplus dishes. It does not take up too much space. What I got was reasonably priced. For the functionality, its good. I think however next time Id purchase a more premium quality one to avoid rusting out so quickly.

It cleaned the dishes very well, it was not noisy. The cycles worked just as was advertised according to the settings. It worked great. It was the correct size for my family. It accommodated all of my items and it always cleaned everything on the items. I never had to rewash an item. I liked this dishwasher. The color was just right for my kitchen and pleasing to the eye. It also fit in with the kitchen and was easy to clean also. I assume the value was great. This dishwasher was included with the house when I purchased because it was built in and didnt see a need to replace it because it looked fine and worked fine.

Cleans the dishes as good as the high dollar washer without the price. I bought Home Cheapo dishwasher that lasted about a week after its warranty. I have always bought Kenmore before and will buy another if needed. This one is only 4 years old now.

Works great! Gets even dried dirt and food off. Everything is very sanitary and the glasses are clear. Drying does take a while, but other than that I am more than pleased. Holds daily dishes for a family of 4 with no problems. Racks fold up and down to accommodate odd sizes or extras. Plenty of room for silverware and utensils. Fits great with the rest of the kitchen. I have both stainless and black appliances and this brings them all together quite nicely. It blends in while at the same time looks great. It must have been worth it because I have been quite pleased and have never had any issues with it.

I love Kenmore Appliances! We have owned three Kenmore dishwashers, both of which we purchased. Our first one was for an apartment we were renting in 1979 when our son was born. I wanted one specifically to sterilize bottles. It was roomy and did a good job, but was rather noisy. Our second one was for our first house and replaced another brand. It was quieter and very roomy. The 3rd was even roomier and quieter and had soft touch buttons and a digital display. We try to buy Kenmore appliances whenever possible. The brand is synonymous with quality. They are dependable, stylish and provide great value for the price. Kenmore offers the latest features, and the sales people are unfailingly friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We have looked at the Kenmore Elite models and when our current KitchenAid (came with the house and was new) gives out, we will replace it with a Kenmore. I like the adjustable racks and would like it if the cycle was even MORE environmentally friendly. I like having options on the length of the cycle and how much water is used. I would also like it if all surfaces in the dishwashers were stainless steel.

The microprocessor control becomes confused at times because some buttons emulate several features. That causes the dishwasher microprocessor to scramble at times. Very frustrating having to wait for it to internally reset! Not enough buttons to properly control the dishwasher features.

It has been running for a really long time without any issues. We use it as an overflow fridge from our main fridge now. It is super spacious and weve never had a problem with it. It holds main dishes but it also holds a lot of leftovers and larger food items. Its pretty but not too big. It just kind of looks like an old fridge. There isnt anything exciting about it. Over the years, the white has gotten really dirty and it looks very dated now. We dont keep it in a main room or entertaining room, just hidden. It has lasted a super long time now so I would recommend it for that reason. Its good.

This dishwasher came with the house. I was pleased that it was a Kenmore brand, and it has proved to be a great appliance. It does its job, it is quiet and effective. Ive yet to find any reason to replace it. I will look at Kenmore when I do have to though. The racks are well made so placement of my dishes is easy. Basket for silverware is a breeze to use. The top rack has plenty of room above it for tall glasses and other items that require the top rack. Spacing on the racks is good, items rarely fall through to the bottom rack. But, the placement of the handle where you open the door is not what I would have done. I break a nail almost every time I open it. Other than that there isnt much I would alter about this dishwasher.

The dishwasher worked very well and lasted the family longer than other brands we have had. There was no residue that I would need to wash off, which made it very convenient for me. The size of the dishwasher was perfect. Not too big or small and the door was light enough to be handled by kids. It is an average size compared to many different brands of dishwashers nowadays. The dishwasher was very stylishly made and it was black so it was somewhat kid proof when it came to getting dirty easily. It had a very pretty pearly black finish which gave it a lot of style and was a beautiful addition to my kitchen. The value of the dishwasher was average, compare to the other brands that were being sold at the time. It was affordable on a slightly flexible budget and was worth the price I paid for it.

I bought and installed a new Kenmore dishwasher from Sears (model # 665.13042k113 manufactured by Whirlpool) approximately 3 years ago. I infrequently use it, perhaps 4 times per month (less now). About a year ago plastic parts started falling off of the upper dish rack. Now, every time I use the upper dish rack, it falls off the track onto the lower rack. I am very disappointed in the product and will never buy a Kenmore or Whirlpool product again. I would expect that an expensive appliance would last longer than 2 years without falling apart. I like to support American industry, but if this is what we are turning out now, I will buy foreign products in the future.

Works as prescribed economical on energy and supports all kinds of dishware to use. Satisfied with its performance and quality. No problems whatsoever so far. Perfect for small family and retirees. Do not used every day but when I have to it always cover its capacity with its size and helpful with larger loads. Normal and good appearance under the kitchen counter and its normal appearance and capacity will use it under all conditions and until it will stop working. The Kenmore Dishwasher is a good value for the price that you pay. It functions well, it is almost completely quiet & it does a pretty good job. Sometimes I would have to rerun the dishwasher a second time but for the most part it did clean everything the first time I would run it. It also fit everything that it needed to. Sometimes there was not enough room for a large plate or anything but that wasnt a huge issue. I would probably get one a bit bigger in the future. It looks clean and it is easy to clean too. It blends in with the other cabinets well. I like the color that I chose. The lines were clean. I think that it looks very nice and I would get another one.

In the 20 years or so we have had this Kenmore; it came with the house we owned. The Kenmore we used maybe a dozen times over 20 years. In those dozen times the Kenmore worked OK I guess but we prefer to wash our dishes when we dirty them and not wait until we have a dishwasher full of dishes. That being said an unused dishwasher is great for storing bulky items like chips in, so other valuable cabinet space can be used for other things.

Always cleans my dishes consistently good, quiet performance. I never have had an issue with my dishwasher breaking down. Even if my dishwasher is overfilled, my dishes are always clean and my glasses are always spot free. My dishwasher is built in at my apartment although from the outside you would think it was small but I have never had an issue with all of my dishes not fitting. It fits well in my kitchen. My dishwasher is very appealing to the eye, its sleek and fits well in my kitchen. Its white in color which goes with the theme in my kitchen. My dishwasher to me is invaluable. Gets the job done. The dishes come out clean. Rarely theres dishes which have marks, but for the most part 9/10 performance. Nothing is perfect, but this is somewhat on its way. The size is enough to load a nights dinner mess and portions of breakfast and lunch. Has handy compartments for silverware and other smaller utensils. The overall appearance of the item is one of something sleek, innovative, but sadly nothing original. Its nice but similar designs can be seen on numerous other products. The storage space of the dishwasher is great and allows for ample quality of wash. I was able to almost all my dish sizes in the appliance. My Crock-pot was the only problem I had fitting in the appliance but with a little push I fit it on the bottom rack. Dishwasher allows for many different washing options and wash cycles worked well when used. Had problems with opening and closing it and it wouldnt latch very well when closed but dishwasher is easy enough to use. I like the color of the dishwasher and inside color goes well with outside color. I also like that buttons are not noticeable. The handle is also very appealing to the eye. Had machine for some time now and its value is great.

The power wash feature proves that this dishwasher is a great appliance. I dont have to pre-wash stuck on food and greasy residue. When I pull the dishes from the dishwasher, they come out sparkling clean. Also, the dishwasher is extremely quiet to operate and uses very little water and electricity. Although we are empty nesters, we do have parties around the holidays and the dishwasher can be tested with the amount of plates and cups requiring cleansing. It has come through every time. The stainless steel is awesome and I would never go back to painted appliances. It is so easy to clean with a little polish and when its clean it shines so much. I love it! Appliances are not cheap anymore but this one seems to have been a great salute for us. We spent about the median price for name brand appliances.

This dishwasher is a medium price appliance which performs like a more expensive model. It is quiet and is thorough in cleaning. I have had it for nine years.

The machine runs forever. What I mean is even the cycle listed as 1 hour runs for 3 hours. I have also noticed that lately its cleaning ability has diminished. I have to almost wash everything before I put it in. In addition, I have started to put paper towels under it because it been known to leak. My last dishwasher worked really well but it was so old that there were no replacement parts when it needed repair.

The dishwasher was capable of cleaning the toughest of dirty dishes. It was not an energy hog nor does it make a lot of noise. Fortunately for me this dishwasher was already in the house when I purchased it. I am looking forward to upgrading eventually but I havent come close to needing to replace it yet! The size was very good. It was small enough under the cabinet while not taking up too much. The interior was spacious enough for all of my needs. Pots, pans, mugs and pitchers all seemed to fit with ease. The appearance is nice enough; nothing to really make you go wild. It does need a regular wiping down because it seems to be a bit of a dirt magnet. It was obviously worth every penny considering I was fortunate enough to have it already included with the house! I am not sure how much it cost when purchased but, looking at the various models to upgrade, it seems like it would be a decent value.

Kenmore dishwashers pretty efficient and it says it saves water. Ive been very happy with it so for real. Its over a year old now and it still doing pretty good. I would purchase this brand again. We bought this unit a little over a year ago from Sears. We bought the extended warranty which was only 1/2 - smart of us. We should have bought some other brand of washer. The warranty took care of the electronic brain that failed last fall, but when we complained about dirty dishes, we were told to send them pictures of the food stains. Give me a break!! We practically prewash every dish before it goes in and they come out dingy looking. Weve tried every detergent and every grade of detergent ever sold and no luck. Some are worse than others. We bought this to replace a KitchenAid that was 17 years old and leaking. I should have just repaired it.

Although the dishwasher seems to function well the dishes do not appear to be cleaned thoroughly. I feel like this so purpose of the dishwasher is to clean the dishes and about 50% of my dishware appears cloudy dirty and not to the level of cleanliness I would expect from a machine that washes dishes. It may be a combination of dishwasher itself or the product used within the dishwasher. I consider most dishwashers to be rather bare and ugly because its built to perform and not to decorate one’s house. But I have no complaints regarding its appearance. If it was any bigger it would look ridiculous in our kitchen. Seems at times to be too small or too big depending on the need. But its regular standard size, one that mustve been thought through and researched by the Kenmore manufacturers.

I always grew up with Kenmore products in our house. My grandparents always wanted to buy the best quality of everything. I carried on that tradition and have always stuck with the Kenmore name. However, after my last 3 appliances going out on me, THAT WERE ALL KENMORE, I will never buy Kenmore again! I also got terrible customer service that could not do anything. My 1 1/2 year old Kenmore refrigerator freezes everything on the top 2 shelves, no matter how high I put the temp, AND the ice hardly makes any ice. You get about 8 cups every 24 hours!!!My Kenmore Elite Dishwasher (was a great dishwasher while it ran), BUT all of a sudden it started making a VERY loud noise and it is so loud, you cant hear someone talking in the kitchen, I have never heard anything like it from a dishwasher! My Kenmore Elite Microwave suddenly made a really loud pop noise and it smelled like it caught on fire! Customer Service said there was a recall on the refrigerator, so they made an appointment for a technician to come out. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!! So I called back and they said now the computer would not allow them to make an appointment for me. I spent over 2 hours on the phone trying to get to supervisors to help me. NO HELP!!! I AM SO DISAPPOINTED WITH YOU KENMORE!!! I will never buy another Kenmore item.

The dishwasher was the perfect size for me and my kitchen which still works great from the same spot for years. The appearance has always gone with the different designs over the years. I have received many compliments about the dishwasher. It never had to be repaired. Its easy to use and when it breaks down I will buy the same brand because I was so pleased. I use the dishwasher daily and find it to perform very well. I load it and turn it on at night to have perfectly clean dishes the next day. The size is the average of any full size dishwasher. It fits perfectly in the space allotted under the counter tops. I have it located between the sink and refrigerator. It is sleek in the black color which matches my other appliances that are black. I had looked at sterling silver options but found that the black was more suiting. I got a great deal on the dishwasher and have only had to do a minor repair once. The value is great for what I got it for and for how long I have had it in use.

I built my house and this Kenmore dishwasher was the dishwasher I chose due to its energy, efficiency and sleek appearance. It was also in sale which was a plus. I also had a Kenmore refrigerator and was very satisfied with it. The dishwasher has been very durable so far, I like the brushed stainless steel appearance. I also like the sleek finishes. Its powerful and energy efficient. I like that it is quiet in my open concept home. I have been very satisfied with it overall but I would appreciate if it was even quieter, or the drying was better as the hot cycle tends to leave small puddles of water on the dishes. Also, I would like it more if it were even bigger and had more capacity. Having adjustable shelves and fingerprint free surface would be a plus as well.

The dishwasher doesnt drain well and the settings are constantly resetting themselves. After using it for 2 years this dishwasher needs to be replaced because it does not work well at all. It is small to mid-size in my opinion. I think it should be bigger and hold more dishes. Sometimes I feel like I am having to cram dishes in there to make them fit and then they dont come very clean. The color matches well in my kitchen. The dishwasher is white and my cabinets are also. The digital buttons on the front are nice also. I did not purchase this myself so I am not sure what the price is. But I think in the beginning the value wasnt bad. But for it to not hold up well two years later that takes away from the value.

This is a very basic looking dishwasher. It is not top of the line stainless steel but it gets the job done. The reason for purchasing this model was the price point. Had serviceman and plumber look at dishwasher. Keeps water in bottom after it has finished cycling. I no longer use it. I wash dishes by hand. No answer on what the problem is. I thought the idea of having a steam cycle was good. This would work for someone who has an autoimmune disease and would help with germs. Everything is hidden in the top of dishwasher so nothing shows on outside. I like the look. I would tell others about the look and how much I like it to others. I had the choice of a Bosch and a Sears dishwasher. The prices were similar. I have always thought Sears stood by their products so I went with it instead of Bosch. I am left to wonder.

I live in an apartment so space was a concern. I researched reviews and chose what I believed was the best dishwasher for the price. Kenmore has met my initial expectations. The dishwasher is Easy to use and has ample loading space. In general, Im very satisfied with the features of my dishwasher. My only complaint is that it possibly needs more spraying power as it Occasionally does not fully wash utensils when there are a lot of them.

This is the second Kenmore product I have bought that has not even lasted 5 years. This dishwasher stopped heating up for washing and drying. The repairman said it would cost $380 to repair as the control board needs to be replaced. I saw there is a recall related to the control board on Kenmore dishwashers but my model is not on the list. I have a light and heavy selection, heat on or heat off. I really like both of these options. It holds a lot of dishes and that is another thing I like about it. It is a 24 inch built in. It is very easy to move out if ever needed. It sits right next to my sink and has a big counter top above it. It is handy to use especially if my little granddaughter wants to help me. It is all white and matches all other appliances, and my cabinets are white, so it all fits together really well. The buttons are easy to use and see and is not very loud when running. It came in our condo but it is the cheapest one and works well. It is the 24 inch built in one in white and I have had it for 11 years and it still works completely like new.

The Kenmore is a great dishwasher. I like the space inside and the way it cleans. My dishes always come out clean and I can fit a lot in it. However, its a bit awkward in the way all the dishes sit in the bottom. It is easy to bump into and start. I would make it so it is not so easy to bump into and turn on. But other than that, the Kenmore Dishwasher was a good price for a top rated company. We have had Kenmore before and were really happy with how it held up and how long it lasted, with very minimal repairs.

I bought it on sale so the price point beat expects in terms of performance. A much better value than my previous GE model which I had very many issues with. It fits nicely with my other appliances. This dishwasher was purchased with our kitchen remodeling project. The stainless steel look matches well with other Kenmore Elite appliances. It is a little darker than the Samsung stainless finish. The dishwasher is fine for our family of four adults. We can get two to three days between loads but at holiday times we often must load and run twice for an extended family meal. This dishwasher is so quiet one often does not realize it is running. Holds a good amount and easy to load and operate. The silverware tray is occasionally in the way and too large. Kenmore Elite line appliances are not budget models. The value received is middle of the pack for premium lines. Some are better. Many are worse.

This has to be the WORST dishwasher I have ever owned. Its not even three years old and we have had to repair it 3 times already!! Its cost me more than the dishwasher was even originally worth. The initial time we fixed the spinning jets and got an entire new control board at the insistence of Sears repair. They said to fix and not replace. Then we had to fix the baskets since they are cheap and fall apart. The next issue is that it wont lock into place so cant use it. I will NEVER EVER buy a Kenmore appliance again. Total disappointment. Thanks for making a terrible product Kenmore!

This dishwasher handled the families washing loads without breaking. It cleaned the dishes and was not overly noisy. It functioned as well as any dishwasher I have owned. This dishwasher was a 24 inch built in and it handled the dishwashing needs of a family of four. We ran it several times a week and it functioned well. I never noticed the appearance so I guess that means it blended in well with the other appliances and cabinetry. I believe the panel was a stainless steel or a dark finish. The perceived value of the Kenmore dishwasher that we had was that we were satisfied with it. It functioned adequately. It cleaned the dishes and glasses and utensils. We never had it breakdown while we owned it.

You would figure paying this much for this product - it would be amazing... It is just average. It cleans ok, but it is very quiet. However we have had sears out 3 times to fix the jet dry dispenser. It is still not fixed and is not out of warranty. It dumps the entire thing each run of the dishwasher. So we dont used the spot free dispenser any more. Sad for such an expensive unit. Size fits perfect to my laundry room, very convenient. Happy with the purchase. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Quiet and gets the job done quickly. Dishes come out shining and all the food particles are gone. Very nice. Simple function, cleaned dishes really well, easy to use, energy-efficient and fast drying time, easy to load, very little leaking, easy for children to load and unload. Very quiet dishwasher. Cleans well and attractive exterior. Solid door, high quality interior. The lower basket area could be bigger to accommodate large plates or pots. However we've figured out how to best load that lower basket area and very satisfied with the unit overall.

Having a family of 5 and cooking 3 meals a day, I needed a dishwasher like this. We live in the country and are on a well, so conserving water in the summer time when rain is minimal is a must in our house. This dishwasher gets the job done, and saves us time and money. Easily have enough space to put all my dishes from a meal, pots and pans, and all the glasses from the day in this thing. I needed a dishwasher that I could easily fit all my dishes from dinner in, and get them all done in one load, and this dishwasher gets the job done. It is sleek and high tech looking. It is defines my kitchen and makes it look well put together.I love the stainless steel front. It is easy to clean or wipe off. It is a head turner when my friends or family come over. I would have to say, if you are looking for quality and efficiency at the same time, this one is going to be the best bang for your buck. It was not the cheapest model we could have went with, but it saves more money being an HE dishwasher and is well worth the extra dollars spent.

It was quiet and got everything clean. I loved this dishwasher. Tough on grease and dried food but I would only recommend liquid dishwasher soap as that worked best in this dishwasher. I could fit large 8 quart pots and pans, along with large dishes, glasses, silverware, other utensils and it still got everything very clean. Did not leave any grease or caked on food on the dishes, silver, glasses or pots and pans. I loved the white color as it made the kitchen appear bright, roomy and cheery. I chose this over a black model because I wanted the kitchen to look bright and happy even though having white showed the dust more which was no problem to me. The value was good considering dishwashers can be quite expensive. If I had to buy all over again, I would choose a Kenmore because they seem to work well and the prices are not out of reach and can fit any budget.

Kenmore Elite model 665.12783k311 - For some unknown reason the lower spray arm on the dishwasher came off, and landed on top the hot heating coil. This melted the lower spray arm, and started a fire in my dishwasher. I took pictures and contacted Sears, who referred me to Whirlpool, who referred me back to Sears, and that went on for two hours. This is dangerous, and based on a Google search not the first time. However, as of this post neither Sears nor Whirlpool has contacted me with any interest in finding out WHY this happened.

I bought a Kenmore dishwasher 18 years ago, but rarely being used as I live alone. I used it for some guests not long ago, the programming has been messed. There is instruction about how to reboot the programs in case it is not working. Sears is famous in eager to send you repair person to get your money instead of putting instruction in manual regarding this problem. They do not offer online or on phone tech support like other big item companies do. No wonder so many Sears are out of business now as their customer support is extremely poor. Just do not buy their product in the future!

I use the dishwasher a lot, had no problem with it, and no repairs needed. It cleans dishes great. Used cascade with it, cleans everything off and no water spots. It fits all of my items inside and fits right beside my sink. Great with pans and pots, work amazingly well with glasses, and the sliding tray is a lifesaver. The size and the appearance are great. Outside needs to be cleaned sometimes but it looks great with the overall kitchen decor. Cleaning it with soap and water usually does the trick but doesnt get that dirty that often. The dishwasher works great, and has a great height and width. It would sell for a good price. I love it.

Its cheap to use and operate. It also operates quietly and uses very little energy. Cleans quick and also doesnt use much water. Is durable.

This dishwasher cleans dishes ok. I still need to a good rinse because food residue may still be on my dishes. It is quiet in a small townhouse. It does not have many settings. This dishwasher is big enough for one person. If you have more than one person, it will fill up fast. If I had to do it again, I would go for an upgraded dishwasher. The features I like most about my Kenmore dishwasher is the large capacity, the power scrub option, and the quietness of the machine. It has been a very good piece of kitchen equipment for me. I am an owner of the Kenmore Elite dishwasher that I have bought in 2004 (8 years ago) from Sears Canada (model 666.16462300; SER FR1509082). Ive been told that the dishwasher was made by Whirlpool. It has been a good dishwasher aside that the door was noisy. Last night when I turned it on there was a black smoke with smell of burned rubber and flames coming out from the top of the door and one can see sparks behind the buttons as well. I just want owners of the same dishwasher be aware of the potential fire hazard. If we weren’t home when it happened, we could have lost our house. Multiple times I have tried to contact both Sears and Whirlpool to file a complaint and to ensure a follow up, but nobody is interested to come and look at the dishwasher to establish what the issue was unless Im willing to pay for it. I dont care about repairing the old one. I just want my dishwasher incident investigated for safety of other consumers.

It does not always clean as well as I would like it to as sometimes it leaves hard water on the dishes and makes them look like they arent clean. It is a fine size and fits just like our old one did in the cabinet. I believe it is a standard size and it fits our familys needs. It is not too small or too big. We have a stainless front dishwasher and I like the appearance of it, although I would also like it if it wasnt stainless because all of my other appliances are black. I think it was a great value and worth the money we spent. We got it for a discount because it was damaged. If it had been full price, I would likely be disappointed because it doesnt always clean as well as it should.

I like the overall design of the dishwasher! When it was used it cleaned perfectly and there was so much space. It had many different functions you could use. It was also economical and saved water. The only thing I would improve would be the amount of time it took to wash the dishes seemed to take awhile. Overall its been great. If I had to choose to buy another I would probably buy the same one again.

We find it absolutely amazing that our Kenmore Ultra Wash is still the ORIGINAL one we purchased when we bought our house, which was in 1995. It still works fine, 25 YEARS LATER..!! I also don’t even think we EVER had to call a repairman for it. I asked my wife and she also never recalls having it repaired for any reason. Lucky..?? Guess so as I believe the average lifespan for a dishwasher is 10 years..?? I could be wrong. Anyway, it works just fine and dishes still are coming out clean and glasses have no spots. I should be in a commercial with this baby..!!

Good everyday basic dishwasher. The short wash cycle cleans just as well as the long - saves time and energy. It has the push bubbles for controls which is easier to clean than the old-fashioned manual knobs and probably has longer life knobs. On the other hand, heated dry takes a long time. It is noisier than other models because it does not have good thick insulation surrounding the tub or any sound dampening in the motor area on surrounding the tub. Its a Whirlpool in disguise at a better price. It does a good job. Kenmore (Sears private label brand) does not do their own manufacturing but farm out to other makers to create the appliances for them.

The Kenmore dishwasher is an awesome dishwasher. Even if you put the dishes in there dirty, they still would come out clean and believe me we put some of the dishes in there pretty dirty. The dishwasher were great just the way it was and it was very appealing to the eye as well as very attractive. I choose Kenmore over the other brands because Kenmore has a great reputation of producing well put together machines and machines that were very good over a duration of a long period of time.

It is innovative and is one of the best out there currently. It helps get the job done and you can put dirty dishes in it and it will have them clean every time. It fits all of my needed items so that I only have to run it once a week or maybe even a week and a half. It has all of the needed places for the things I want to wash. It looks sleek and modern in my home. It has the stainless steal look and finger prints dont show up when it is touched. It makes a great addition to my kitchen. The value you get is worth the money spent. It makes life easier and looks good while doing that. I highly recommend spending the money for it.

Works with no problems and Ive never had a problem. Glad it came with the house. I never thought doing dishes would be so easy. Im not sure how long it will work but think for years and then Ill get another one. Can hold my households dishes in for the day, I wait until night to use it. Five people live here, two adults and 3 kids so we use a lot of dishes throughout the day. Looks good. It dont try to stand out and just fits in. The price wast much and Id say it has a good value. Id pay about 45% more if I knew how much Id like it before I got it to be added to kitchen.

I have had my dishwasher for a long time. And it runs perfectly. It is amazing at making all dishes look sparkling clean. And it is big enough to put a whole cupboard of glasses into and still wash completely. I am able to put half of a cupboard of cups on the top rack and still have room for other bowls. And the bottom rack holds big pots and pans. And I also put plates too. I love the size of this dishwasher. I love the appearance of this dishwasher too. Even though its kind of plain. It is a white color and its totally OK to me. I was going to get a stainless steel one but I have little kids in the house and I would be cleaning it all the time. The price of this dishwasher was very good as well. When I wash looking for a dishwasher to buy I didnt have a lot to spend. So I ended up looking at Kenmore and they had very decent priced dishwashers.

Cleans everything as it should, quiet, saves water. My old dishwasher only used powder so its nice to be able to use more modern and superior cleaners. Makes washing a snap, very happy with it. We have a built in area of the counter that the dishwasher has to fit into and this fits perfectly. It is large enough to keep us from having to do the dishes every day which is nice. Just look at it, a thing of beauty. It looks great in our kitchen, but so did our last dishwasher. I guess most of them all look alike! We feel weve gotten great value with this dishwasher. It does everything weve ever wanted it to do.

The performance is very good. It cleans the dishes without spots or residue left over. The machine works well and we havent had any problems. The size is adequate. We can wash all of our dishes. Sometimes the tray for the silverware isnt enough but we have four kids who like to use spoons and forks. The appearance is nice. It flows with the rest of the kitchen. We bought a Kenmore Dishwasher in October at Sears because we believed at the time there was no consumer retailer with a more trusted name that a consumer could rely upon. NEVER AGAIN. We will NEVER SHOP AT SEARS AGAIN FOR ANYTHING AND WOULD LIKE TO WARN ALL CONSUMERS TO STAY AWAY AS WELL. Our brand new Kenmore worked middling well for the first few weeks, then we began to notice our dishes were not getting clean. We carefully went over the manual and adjusted several things: added more Jet-Dry so the dispenser was full, adjusted the knob for the Jet-Dry to maximum; moved the silverware holder so the soap dispenser would have no interference. But even with that, the dishes were not washing properly. A repairman came to the house on December 28th. He made a few adjustments, and left. We tried again, and once again, our dishes did not clean. The soap dispenser ejected the soap, but the soap landed at the very top of the dishwasher and sat there like a lump of coal. It did not dissolve. So I called again. Now, I had to wait until January 10th. Today. Thirteen days for a repairman. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was nothing anyone could do. Sears is apparently short on repairmen. So today I received a call from Sears. My repair had been injured on the job. My appointment was cancelled. Next available date-- JANUARY 22ND. My brand new dishwasher that had NEVER worked properly was going to have to wait now ANOTHER TWELVE DAYS. AND THERE WAS NOTHING NO ONE COULD DO!!! I spoke to at least FIVE ADDITIONAL PEOPLE. And you are speaking to day players here. No one in a position of power. Customer no-service. No with a STAKE in SEARS. No one who gives a damn about you, or the company. The last woman I spoke with told me to stop yelling. I wasnt yelling, I told her. I was adamant. And so, welcome to Corporate America. This is what happens when companies get too big TO CARE. I cant even give the thing back b/c their return policy is 30 days. NOTHING BREAKS DOWN IN THE FIRST 30 DAYS! So we are stuck. Even if this damn thing gets fixed, it is a vastly inferior machine than we had before. So, stay away. Just stay away from sears altogether.Updated on 02/05/2018: Whatever you do, do not buy from Sears. We are on repairman THREE. As soon as he arrived, he got on the phone. Repair via telecommuting. Dishwasher bought in late October worked for 2 weeks. It is now February. The motor stopped working in two weeks. First repairman who was condescending diddled with the computer and did not discover the broken motor. Repairman two did, but parts had to be ordered. Repairman Three is here now, telecommuting. Any bets on if I get a working dishwasher? Customer service is ineffectual and rude. I went to Sears because Sears used to a name that could be trusted. No more. Stay away.

The appearance was beautiful and sleek that is why I bought it, but in the end, it was not worth it because it was always broke. Having to wash dishes while I own a dishwasher was not fun. The size seemed typical, but the extra baskets and silverware holders had to be removed when washing big pots and pans. The plastic baskets always broke. It would always break. I had to contact customer service repeatedly to fix it. It also failed to clean the dishes completely. I would have to constantly reset it and troubleshoot on the Internet. Stick with different brands I think cheaper and older models worked better than this. I wish I would have kept my old dishwasher or bought another brand. It also did not help that I bought it from Sears.

When youre raising a brood of boys that eat constantly, your Kenmore dishwasher never stops running! Keeping my dinnerware spotless for years too! I cook almost every meal at home for 4 people. I load breakfast, lunch AND dinner dishes throughout the day/evening with a little room to spare for a midnight snack. THEN, I turn it on before bed, ready for the next days meal. Wash, rinse, repeat! Dependable and reliable. Until the day I moved out of our 18 year residency of our first home, our Kenmore dishwasher kept the appearance of new! I hated to leave her behind! Any brand dishwasher, (Kenmore) that can last 18+ years IS A GREAT VALUE! My ex still lives in that home, my son recently out of the service, moved back in. Is still filling that Kenmore dishwasher since he was a teen. Id say... THATS A GOOD VALUE FOR OUR MONEY!

Water heats well... Dishes are not just cleaned but sterilized. Glasses look great as do utensils. Its reliable, easy to use. Convenient. I can get pots and large dishes (like platters) in without problems. Tall glasses fit better on the bottom shelf and I place large serving and cooking spoons, knives and forks flat in the shelf. Nice, clean lines, lights are easy to see and the dials are easy to read. Like the way it compliments my other appliances. Husband likes it well, also as he often loads it. Does a good job w/ economical time and limited water usage. It quickly pays for itself w/ the economical usage and quickness in cleaning.

High speed gets my dishes clean the way I expect them to be. You wont find many dishwashers can do what Kenmore can. I dont like washing dishes so lol. Size is perfect for all your dishes, pots, pans, etc. Love it. You can put a lot more in this dishwasher than you can the original dishwasher. I would think everyone wants a big dishwasher so you dont have to start it twice. Very nice appearance. Love the colors. It brings out your kitchen. Some dishwashers makes your kitchen look horrible. Personally me I like for my dishwasher and my washer and dryer to blend in with my kitchen. Very nice price. A little expensive but its worth the price. It also last longer. You get your moneys worth out of what youre paying for. I rather pay a little more knowing it will last longer and do a better job than pay less and you are very disappointed.

We go to Sears, to look at dishwashers. We find one that looks VERY promising. A couple of weeks later, we purchase it, and it takes my dad pretty ALL. THE. REST. OF. THE. DAY. to install it. It works like a charm for the next year or so. Then the middle rack starts losing a couple bolts, and gets all lopsided. It actually becomes hard to put stuff on the left side of it, and we can only put lightweight stuff on it now, because anything heavier would completely break it.For the next couple weeks, my dad has been trying to contact people from Sears, and from Kenmore, to get spare parts for it so he can fix it. The first order gives him parts, but for THE TOP RACK. The second order? Well, my dad is having a HECK of a time trying to get THAT one to show up. Oh, and its been ALMOST A MONTH since the first order. Yep. Now you might think that were just acting like entitled spoiled brats, but come on now. Why should it take almost a month and a half for us to get some spare parts so my dad can fix the dishwasher? Just, why? And so, Im only giving this two stars. Just two. You guys bring us the parts we ACTUALLY need, I might give it three more. Thanks for your time.

The Kenmore dishwasher is self cleaning. Always gets the job done. No hassle or gimmicks. It has high efficiency and various cycles of washing, rinsing and drying and select water levels feature. Im not too picky about the dishwasher as long as it does its job. Although I would like automatic shut off when the dishes are done and something to tell me when the dishes are ready to be out away or dried. All in all, quality and service are great. Products are always long lasting and their company has been around for a very long time. They are very reliable and reputable. Always consistent with their product.

Weve purchased Kenmore appliances for years and have always found them to be competitively priced and reliable. Our washer, dryer and dishwasher have been used time and again and weve never had a problem with any of them. Weve also purchased other brands through Sears that have also been reliable.

We looked at different stores and different brands, but Sears had the Kenmore dishwasher on sale. I liked that it had a cutting board top, but I had to rub oil on it a lot to keep it looking good. I liked that it was movable and I could load it in the dining room and move it to the kitchen to run. I also liked that it opened from the top, it held a lot of dishes, not very noisy when running, and was easy to load dishes into it. I also had other Kenmore brand appliances and knew that they were a good dependable brand. But I disliked that when you hooked it to the faucet that you could not use the sink while it ran. It also would have been good to have the hose longer, and have the hook up to the faucet have it so you could still use the faucet. I also had to have the dishwasher tight up to the counter and I would have liked to have a longer electrical cord that plugged into the wall.
