I purchased a Liebherr refrigerator from Abt in the Chicagoland area. The salesperson promoted it as a high-quality appliance, and it was costly. Yet it has been a source of aggravation and expense since the purchase; the temperature panel and door hinge (all plastic parts) break every two years. I am now waiting for the 3rd repair of these parts and hoping my food doesn't spoil, because the door now pops open at random times. On top of this several of the unit's drawers and shelf tops are also broken; they don't latch in place and often fall off/out. Because they are also made of thin plastic they easily crack. I would nor recommend this product.

CS1311CS1360/07011/7084638 - 00. One shelf on the door broke off after 3 months. The butter compartment broke as well. Now the actual handle on the refrigerator door broke off completely and there were 4 plastic parts scattered on the floor! Were I a very strong woman I might have thought I opened the door too quickly or carelessly. I have always had little arm strength and am frequently called delicate! I am blamed repeatedly for every issue. Having owned 2 extra large SubZero refrigerators in my former home and had no problems with either one, I know it is not me that is making this happen.

I purchased a chest freezer due to hard times going through this pandemic and money has been very tight so eating has been a blessing. I've had this product about 6 months not quite came home from work and the whole freezer full of meats were gone. Don't know what's going on with the replacement of my product. It's still under manufacturer warranty and even if or when it gets replaced I don't know how I'm even going to put anything in it. I am just very unsatisfied with the quality of this product. I understand it's not going to last forever but never dreamed it would only last 6 months.

I can say it's a great product. My family bought it for me and I was quite surprised. It can fit my needs since I live alone. I love how it works... how it keeps the food cold and freezes what's necessary. I highly say I'm quite pleased and I wouldn't have it any other way. I would truly recommend the product. It is a very reliable fridge. I like it because whenever I needed to adjust the temperature it was straightforward and easy. The shelves and drawers could have been more thoughtfully designed. Sometimes it was hard to fit in food in convenient way. It was annoying because I'm a very organized person. It was pretty cheap looking. And the bad storage made the presentation underwhelming. It's aesthetics are it's major downfall, but it worked great regardless. The size is ok. Spacing is weird, but it still held everything I needed it to. It didn't look blocky in the room. It may be slightly unattractive, but it's been running well for a long time. I love how easy it is to adjust the temp. which is something I've always hated about other fridges.

It was a very good refrigerator. It always outdid all the rest. Never had a problem with it. Never had to have it serviced. It was gold and went with my kitchen very well. I had it for over 5 years. Still works as good as the day I got it. It is the only. Brand I buy. My wife loves it and cant give it up. Its gone through 3 kids and a dog. Still looks great. If you need a refrigerator I would recommend Kenmore. They last forever.

It is now July 18 and after two attempts, refrigerator is still broken. Has been has been on the phone with LG for two days trying to get a repair man out to fix it. Telling us it will be July 30 before we can get someone out here. We have now gone two weeks without a refrigerator and they want us to go in entire month! I bought a brand new LG refrigerator LFXS30766D in May 2015. Last month it did not make any cool air, as the result all my foods end up in the garbage can. I called LG, they dispatched a technician first time for diagnostic. Then the tech came back the second time with a new compressor. They charged me about $400 plus for part and labor. Well, the refrigerator then was running fine for about three weeks. After that the compressor made some noise. I had to unplugged it a few times with a hope making differences. At last the noise finally gone but there is a new problem starting last 2 weeks. The cooling issue came back. The freezer at the bottom is cool about 36F, and the fridge on top is warm. I found out the vapor fan stopped working. I went online to check on LG spare part to replace the fan myself so I can save money. But I am very disappointed after the fact that the vapor fan kit costs around $200 - $300 for the whole assembly kit. What a rip off!!! I spent more than $2000 to purchased this LG refrigerator; and I really believe this is a piece of junk. I don't know how LG is still in business, and why LG does not care their customers at all. All they care is about themselves, selling fancy looking product that not last more than 3 years, then selling spare parts at unbelievable high prices. I will not buy LG products and no more...

I purchased my Viking side by side 'built in' refrigerator in 2011... I have had ongoing problems... The dealer sent out a technician with a list of problems we were having... Water freezing within the door to dispenser, rattle within the grille, door hinge catches and pings when opened and closed. After a couple of times with dealer technician, they sent me to a local authorized Viking repair business. Numerous technicians were sent out to work on previous problems and then we started adding additional problems... The back wall piece that ice tray connected to came loose, and again no ice or water dispensing. Auger motor broke. As to date, 2014 I am still contacting technicians to repair my frig. I just contacted Viking direct and wanted to know what can be done! She apologized and apologized and yet said that Viking will not take any steps to review and/or replace my messed up refrigerator... I was so displeased. The Viking appliances are high-end and I paid quite a nice ticket price for a kitchen full of Vikings... And being American made, which is why we chose Viking. We thought they would be a service quality company. Not the case in my experience. I would not recommend Viking appliances.

The ice maker on this fridge (Samsung Refrigerator Model RF23HCEDBWW) is a nightmare. We have had it for a year and since day one, it has created frost, not dispensed a lot of ice and leaked both inside and outside of the appliance. It builds ice up inside the refrigerator portion, underneath the bottom chill drawer. Save yourself some heartache and DO NOT purchase this model.
