Product Reviews:

I purchased this microwave when mine went out and it came in very quickly. It is very pretty and matches my kitchen very nicely. I have three kids who believe in microwaving everything. So it gets used all the time. I love that the popcorn button on it is absolutely perfect. Every microwave I have ever had the popcorn button either doesn't cook it long enough or burns it. For me that is a huge plus. It is very light weight and works very well. I love this product and it was a great price, especially for a single mother of three. I would definitely recommend this microwave to anyone looking for great quality and price.

I just sent my little Sharp microwave with turntable off to grad school with my daughter who is younger than the microwave and she is 24! It has worked like a charm for decades now without one problem. I purchased a larger microwave...a Kenmore...and that one stopped working 13 months after it was purchased. I am now looking for a microwave for my son and I am buying a Sharp!

I bought this Panasonic microwave a little over a year ago, and now when I put something in to heat it up, it won't turn on. I have to open the door and move the turntable inside, close the door and try again. Going to buy a different one today, as I don't trust this one to be safe now, and whatever I buy, will not be another Panasonic.

We installed a Samsung SMH9187 over cook top microwave in August 2009. I liked the 5 speed fan. The low speed was quieter than others at low speed. Controls stopped working August 2012 so I replaced membrane touch pad - a 3 year life. Now May 2013 (0.75 years later) and no response from touch pad. I just solved the problem. The problem of lack of response to control pad (a membrane switch) was to separate two sections of the control pad cable. The membrane switch type control panel was a film cable that connects to the circuit board. A 7-wire piece folds back on the cable, causing confusion for the control system on the PC board. The solution was to insert a small rolled up paper tube to separate the two cable sections. To test this I removed the paper tube and clipped the cable pieces tightly together. The controls became unresponsive. Separating the cable sections again restored function. This is a quirk in the Samsung design. It may have been unnecessary to replace the first membrane switch ($19). When the new switch was installed, by chance the two cable pieces were separated just enough to work. Then over time they moved together, initially causing some problems, then later total non-function. This problem may cause one to push hard on the buttons to make it work, possibly damaging the switch.Step by Step Instructions: 1. Unplug microwave for safety; 2. Remove 2 vent cover retaining screws from top front of microwave; 3. Push vent cover left to unhook and remove; 4. Remove screw on top of control panel box; 5. Push control panel box up to unhook and remove. No need to disconnect anything; 6. Insert a rolled up tube of paper 2" to 3" between folded back 7-connector piece and the main cable; 7. Re-install control box and test. Then re-install vent cover.I'm amazed at all these problems people are having. One would think Samsung would help, but it seems they hide behind "warranty is up" so call a repairperson. Our last phone purchase was Nokia, not a Samsung, as I have lost faith in the brand.

Easy to use, looks and works great. Very easy to keep clean and has delay and lighting features. What else can I say except I love my LG microwave. Hope this works for you as there is just so many words you can use to describe a microwave.

At least 3 times, with different people in our household, our microwave has started on its own. It was plugged in but with no input from anyone. We checked the website and no recall. Microwave just out of warranty. This was a disaster in the making. We took it as a sign to discard this appliance. GE NO MORE!

SN661S - If anybody's thinking about buying a Panasonic microwave or any product from them BEWARE. Our microwave needed one repair under warranty and then needed the same repair 6 months later when it was out of warranty. The repair place wouldn't fix it and Panasonic won't replace. After 4 hrs on the phone over a 1 month period and getting a form from the repair company saying they won't fix the same repair twice, I finally gave up after an hour on the phone today. I'll never buy another Panasonic product as long as I live.

We had bought a Samsung microwave from a local store roughly around 3 years back. After the expiry of warranty period which is one year it started facing technical faults for which we called Samsung service center and after paying Rs2000 the problem got solved. And now after 2 more years the same problem has re-appeared. So will advice not to buy Samsung products.

Viking fits best in my existing kitchen. It’s easy to use and it looks nice in the kitchen. I like the broiler and when I had a problem with the microwave they replaced the door right away. So far, everything has been good. So get a Viking.

Viking makes very good appliances. Haven't had any major issues with it. But their warranty is excellent. For some reason the door mechanism wears out and has to be replaced every 4 to 5 yrs. Service tech will replace it in about 30 minutes, no charges.
