I purchased a new stainless steel range and am happy with it overall. However, the knobs get too hot to touch when the oven is on at a standard temp. This in turn makes my over the range microwave door handle extremely hot also. Having contacted them, I was told since the range is working appropriately (hmm, how would they know; no one came to look at it) there is nothing they can do. I brought up the fact that that is a safety hazard IMHO. Since I have children and just touching the knobs makes me flinch my hand back. I was told, "No, it isn't since the range is working appropriately." Hmm...

The large oven kept shutting off and the door doesn't shut. Resetting the breaker appeared to fix it, but didn't. Repairman came out and replaced the main board and relay board for $600. Now the large oven works, but the light does not go off in the large oven, and the fan runs continuously after using the small oven until you shut off the breaker. The repairman does not know why. He also informed me that Thermador no longer makes hinges for the large door, so I need to replace the entire door for $1200. Also charged $200 to replace the switch panel on the vent hood, which he was certain would fix the halogen lights. It didn't. Is anyone aware of a class action suit? Hundreds or thousands of complaints at $6-12K per range, it seems like there are millions of dollars to be recovered from Thermador.

LRG 3081ST gas stove - My first problem was that Best Buy never warned me that to convert this stove to propane was going to cost close to $300.00. The next problem was as soon as I started to use the product, the fan in the convection oven does not work most of the time, the controls are very difficult to use and very confusing, one of the burners does not work! After contacting Best Buy they told me I had to call LG, which I did. After many tries and disconnected calls I finally reached a person and he reluctantly set up an appointment with a local repair shop, and although she agreed the fan should work better but after calling LG they said it was normal and there was nothing she could do. But they did agree it probably should have a new burner but that is still on order. The stove is basically a cheap "POS". I would not recommend anyone to buy this model.

My review is not about Lowe's, it is about the Whirlpool Range I purchased. I purchased a Whirlpool Range in 2013. In a matter of a few weeks the drawer at the bottom was giving problems. It was still under warranty and a repairman was sent to repair it at no cost to me. Something was broke about it. The drawer is so flimsy made it is not made to hold much of anything to start with. I have to take all sorts of effort to get it to close correctly. It is just shoddy made. Then a few weeks ago a piece of the side trim on the oven door fell off. My husband got it back on and then it fell off again last night. I am not happy with this stove, it is cheap made for $550.00. It is white with a smooth cooking surface. Drawer is so shallow and won't stay on the tracks, things fall out over the back. I am not satisfied with this stove, but I have got to keep it.

I have a Kenmore Elite electric range model 790-98023800. Have seen many many complaints about the sides expanding and not holding racks. 2 weeks ago taking roast out of oven, rack falls to bottom of oven and burns my arm, roast & juice all over bottom out the door on floor & under oven itself. Why is not a recall on this oven model 790*. They don't even make parts for it anymore. Contacted Sears (where we purchased & their remark was it is Kenmore's problem). Spare me! Where do we go for help for getting some sort of resolve for this matter?

I didn’t get my Viking range until March and a couple of months later, my kitchen light was always on. I realized the door wasn't closing properly, and so I called the person I bought it from and they said that within the first year, I have to go through a a service person. The tech came and had it fixed but I had to wait six weeks. Also, one of the four burners and the middle burner were not working, and the tech must have ordered parts for that too because he came to fix those. They're all resolved now and I’m happy that it’s working. I love the cooking quality level of the burners. We’re personally having a struggle ‘cause I need to get the range installed with a hood to vent it properly because it sets off my fire alarm. The person who installed said that I cannot use the clean setting ‘cause it would be too hot. I cleaned it out by hand, and then the person who came to fix it said that it's not true. Within 20 minutes of using the clean setting, it set off my fire alarm again, even with a cover. There’s something about using it that it can’t do that. So, it’s on my to-do list to look into buying a hood. Otherwise, I love my Viking range.

I have had the engineer in 5 times and the dishwasher is only a year old. From day one it was not washing properly and was told by a number of engineers that it was the powder, then was told the dishwasher tablet's formula had been changed. Was also told to put the tablets down the side of the draw. They tried to change the settings 3 times and it still don’t wash properly. My grandchildren have been in hospital with bad stomachs and we have put it down to the substandard dishwasher. We were told they would replace it and had a call from them but they have never come to replace it. I have called them at least 20 times and emailed with no outcome. My next step is to arrange a solicitor to get my money back.
