My husband bought this horrible piece of crap without me. We had it a couple of months when it started to fail. Getting stuck on spin cycle and the clothes were SOAKED. Tech came in and said we have to put it on BULK (never had this problem with other machines). So, he cleared it, and worked on the drain motor. A couple months later (while using bulk setting), the machine did the same thing. In the year and a half since we bought it, it had done this about 25 times. Second time we had a tech come out... tried to tell us the same thing. This item is faulty. Just found out a friend with a front load LG is having the same issue. LG WT4870C Top Load Washer - I would like to give this washer zero stars. It has to be the worst washing machine I have ever owned. The cleaning process takes much longer than the timer indicates. The clothing is not clean. I still have underarm stains, pet hairs, make-up on my clothing after a wash. The "IE" error comes on after each and every wash making the process longer as I have to reset it to 'Spin Only" in order to get the clothing wrung out. I will never buy this type of non agitating agitator machine again. I wish I could get my money back but I waited too long. I hated it after the first week. I have had a Kenmore washer for at least fifteen years and the only thing that I just had to replace are the dogs. Just replaced the dogs last week for under five dollars. It was super easy. I would recommend a Kenmore washer because it works great, cleans clothes and bedding up to my winter comforter quite well, it's very dependable and it well worth the money.Sharon of Belleville, Illinois

I purchased my Kenmore washing machine in May of 2014 and received it in June. My washer had been giving me a UE code which is a unbalanced code. This would happen no matter what I was washing. To be fair I should have called Sears sooner to have them look at washer while it was covered on warranty, but I did not realize when the warranty was up until it was too late. I had repairman come out to fix my machine, he told me that the parts alone would be $504.00 to fix (brand new on sale cost was $550). Told me LG manufactured machine under Kenmore label and I should call them to see if they would cover price of parts. Also said this rarely happened to the machines.Called LG never heard of machine, called Sears said not true, LG manufactured it. Sears told me to register machine on LG site then maybe they would recognize machine. And since it was not registered on their site that was why they did not recognize it. Problem who knows when you purchase Kenmore product who really makes it. Looking online, LG has this problem with LOTS of their machines. So unfair you purchase a (expensive to me) new machine and it is a piece of garbage. 4 hours to get a load of wash done!!!V. of Gardnerville, NV

Kenmore HE top loader - I purchased this machine thinking it was way better than my older machine. I'm very disappointed, my clothes don't come clean. It only adds enough water to get them wet, sometimes items come out with dry spots. I tried smaller loads and clothes still don't come clean. Some still smell. My husband works in a golf course and his shirts, (which can be quite smelly) still have an odor. I never had this before. Also, my darks sometimes come out with white spots on them which I never had before. My daughter used my machine, who has a Whirlpool and says my machine is awful compared to hers. It doesn't add enough water for the clothes to properly clean. Would never get one like this again.Andrea of Mechanicville, NY

Maytag Dishwasher Model # MDB7749SBM1. What a piece of JUNK! Purchased in June 2013. Control panel went out six months later! June 2014 Control panel BAD again (#2). I like Kenmore because it seems to be the best long-term appliance. Service on them I have been able to do myself cause simply to disassemble and online how-to sites. I have always had a Kenmore washer. They are very reliable & durable. Service from Sears is also reliable plus trustworthy. Prices are good, compared to Maytag or GE. I prefer Kenmore over all other brands. Kenmore offers top loading, front loading & compact units for smaller spaces. Sears stores are available in many areas, that carry Kenmore products.Donna of Irving, TX

Bravo XL - This is the worst washing machine I have ever purchased! Loved it at first but after a year or so we couldn't wash a full load without error messages. Then we couldn't even wash one pair of jeans without an error message. Called to have it repaired and $300. Later the bearing was replaced and the washer worked wonderfully once again. Less than a year later and we are back to having a non functional washer. Cannot wash anything without the error message. Customer service is absolutely no help. For such an expensive washer and supposedly a good brand, this machine is a real disappointment.Lauren of Tomah, WI
