Product Reviews:

This is probably one of the best microwave on the market. I have had this microwave about 10 years and I've had absolutely no problems. They make a great product. Size, performance, convenience and price that was paid is probably one of the best around. I would recommend this product to anyone and I would buy another one. I know availability is still there.

I haven't had the microwave a year yet. Started smelling an electrical smell inside the microwave. Any food or liquid starts to smoke with a bad chemical smell. This was not steam! Unplugged for fire hazard and biohazard reasons. No longer using. Not worth repairing. Junk!

We have never had a problem with the microwave. Most of our use has been heating things up. There has been a few times that our granddaughter made something else. It is lightweight. Easy to clean. Not too large or small. Fits what we use it for perfectly. Doesn't take up much room. It heats perfectly. It has been a really good microwave.

In my wildest dreams I wouldn't have expected that changing a burned out light bulb on a 7 month old microwave would put us out of commission for over a month. It's been 30 days now and I'm told it will be more than 2 weeks before the part comes back in stock. Whirlpool had such a good reputation years ago, but that's history. This is a disgrace.

My Samsung Microwave was getting old and stopped working. It just wouldn't start up. A few hours later I heard an explosion in the kitchen. It was on fire. I could not extinguish it until I thought to unplug it and pour water on top of the flames through the ventilation grates on the top. The cabinet above the microwave had just started to burn so I'm sure that there would have been a serious fire had I not been at home. Later I read about popping noises being a warning sign that something is wrong and I did hear a few pops before it stopped working. Please unplug your microwave if you hear popping and call the company or a repairman. I wish I had known that the popping is a sign that my microwave was in serious trouble. I had never heard about the dangers of a microwave that had stopped working. Register your microwave so that you will be informed of problems with the model you buy.

I have a KitchenAid Model KHHC2090SSS-2 Architect series. I have an extensive experience with concerns regarding this model. I replaced it once under warranty because it was arcing, and finally died completely. A year later, the microwave began to start on its own. There is nothing like walking into your kitchen and finding out the your microwave started it, set the cook time for an hour, and had already been running for 6 minutes. I called KitchenAid, and they immediately sent me to their safety department. They offered to fix it free of charge. Well, 4 months after being repaired, it started doing this again. After investigating this more, I have learned that KitchenAid has this problem, and Consumer Reports did an extensive investigation. Other models are involved. Fires have occurred. Buyer beware - these microwaves are a huge safety hazard.

I CAN'T BELIEVE I HAVE THIS MICROWAVE! My family has bought this in April 2016 after our old Emerson Microwave broke down. This was bought immediately not knowing this: This Microwaves cuts off the internet!!! Haven't tried anything to get this Microwave to stop cutting off the Wi-Fi yet. IT HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE APRIL!!! I didn't realize at first that the internet was cutting me off for no reason, but now it is because of Microwave usage! For example, if it's used for 5 minutes, the internet is down for 5 minutes due to Microwave usage! Also, this product might break down soon in months or even next year. A lot of people's Panasonic Microwave has this same problem. If it breaks down, I will update this complaint! If this breaks down, I hope to god I buy a microwave that does not cut off the internet. Not this! AVOID THIS MICROWAVE AT ALL COSTS! Buy one that does not cut off internet! Do not buy this wi-fi less microwave!

The arching of the metal rack caused smoldering in the microwave. I prepared a baked potato in the microwave. I smelled something burning. I assumed the potato was burning. I removed it, used the microwave again and smelled the burning again. Upon close examination, I removed the rake and that is where the burning and smoke is. The plastic hook/holder was melted and the side of the microwave was charred. I called GE and they said I should not have been using the rack with such a small amount of food. I have used this microwave almost daily for years - I never knew this. They said it's safe. I don't believe it is. They told me to call repair. I'm not satisfied.

Great microwave for the inexpensive price! I would purchase this product again if needed. LG makes good products at a fair market price. I always consider buying LG products with no regrets. I recommend LG products.
