Both washer and dryer are large capacity loaders, energy efficient, they have multiple heat settings, affordable priced. I would recommend them. I can load this washing machine and dryer to the max and the clothes come out clean and bright, they dont take long to dry. I can dry on low as efficiently as if it were on regular and save money. Plain white enamel, they have simple knobs with 3-4 different laundry and dry settings. They both hold large capacity laundry batches. They are valuable to me as they were not expensive and they keep the cost down per load because they are both energy efficient. They both have special features as far as bleach dispenser and fabric softener dispensers go.

The washer and dryer were priced well. I have saved money on water bills and electric. They work efficiently. I trust the Kenmore brand over the competition.

I absolutely love the see thru top.In all my years I have not owned a washer that works so good ever. Im so glad I bought it. Best ever. Ive owned it now for almost 2 years and it runs like it did the first time I used it. I have 2 grown daughters that bring their laundry over (1 has a 4-year-old and her boyfriend. The other is her and her husband) to use it and both were tickled with it. I LOVE the see-through lid! Its the first thing that drew me in to consider it. When I saw it was a Kenmore, I was sold. Ive owned several Kenmore in the past and they have always outlasted other brands. I bought mine from Lowes and it was on a good sale. The price was a little high for me but the sale helped a lot. I also bought the matching dryer. The set was on sale.

My washer/dryer has always worked and never gave me any problems, always gets the job done. Ive had it for at least 8 years. They are very good quality and last a long time. I shouldnt even be needing a new washer/dryer for the next couple years, even though Id had mine for 8+ years.

My dryer dried all my clothes perfectly fine even delicates which I would dry on low heat or air - I would still own it if I hadnt chose to upgrade my washer and dryer after moving. My drying drum was more than ample size for all my loads of laundry from jeans to towels to sheets - I never had a problem with my clothes being damp or drying unevenly. The appearance of my dryer was not aesthetically modern like the digital ones are; however, it had all the bells and whistles to get the job done. The amount of money I would spend doing laundry at the laundromat was more than my monthly payment - Not to mention the amount of time spent away from home which has no value because its priceless.

It cleans my clothing. It works well. I only needed to have it repaired a couple of times over the years. It sometimes did not drain. Both have had their issues from time to time. Usually inexpensive to have repaired. They have survived three children growing up. Both machines are white and have the look of a traditional washer and dryer. They are in my basement so they dont need to look great. Given to me as a gift from my parents for my new house. I do not know how much they cost but they have lasted over ten years now and I have had minimal problems.

Kenmore Elite HE 4 - Since 2004 I bought the pair. It cost a lot over 2000 but worth every penny. I put a long term warranty on it. Worth every penny. My first front loader in over 20 years and I cant say enough about it. I have it serviced every year to be sure it is running right. I love this machine. I had the matching dryer but it was gas and when I sold my home I moved into an all electric apt. Would love to find that dryer. I had the stand for it. I carry a long term warranty on it. A great machine.

Im happy with this machine, gets the job done and is good at it. I would purchase again if given the option. I would also recommend to family and friends. I have had it for almost five years and so far they have worked pretty well. I have not had any trouble with either one of them in last five years. The reliability is very good in the way it washes the clothes. For one year I had a warranty on this particular washer. The appearance is fine. It looks good where it is at in the kitchen. It is also functional for everyday use. I live in a small place. The size of the washer and dryer just fit into the space. I use to go to the laundromat. I would spend fifteen to twenty dollars at the laundromat. I think that the washer and dryer paid for itself in the long run including gas mileage.

My last washer/dryer set was Maytag. Had it 13 yrs, never a service call. Left it in our house when we sold it. Went & bought new Kenmore set. After reading some of these reviews about Kenmore...always reliable, run forever etc. Thats what I thought. Had Kenmore in past & was happy. Well...times have changed!! Im not a top of the line person...paying for bells & whistles Im not even going to use. This model 25132 is mid-line but doesnt have the big agitator, but 4.3 capacity for BIG loads.1st mth I hated it...noisy, walking all over when it spun. Called them out. Serviceman said nothing wrong with it...was I using proper detergent. HE!! What!!! Detergent makes it vibrate. I think not. Married 50 yrs. Have never had a new washer do this. BTW was using proper detergent. 3 yr mark agitator plate went out...stripped. Replaced that. Im sure all the shaking & vibrating had something to do with that. Now 3 mths later, vibrating sooo BAD hits the walls, turns sideways etc. Called out service again. Drum is bent again, Im sure from all the banging around. Costly repair. So am just going to take repair money & buy new washer. But reading reviews, seems like every brand has some of the same issues. Repairman said Whirlpool has bought Maytag & other brands therefore everything has gone downhill. Really disappointing!!!

Easy to use and efficient. Dries clothes effectively and is cost efficient. Great product. I would recommend buying this dryer to anyone in need of a good quality product. Cut on every time I need it and always dries clothes in a reasonable amount of time. Can handle large loads of clothes at the time. Looks like any other dryer that I have owned. White with blue numbers. Paint has held up good and is dual vented so you can vent through the floor. Cost about the same as other dryers but seems to be more energy efficient. Electric bill is cheaper after purchasing this dryer.

I have a Kenmore washer and dryer. The pair is working on its 25th year of providing clean and dry clothes! Had other brands in years past and not any compare when it comes to longevity! Remember getting parts replaced on former appliances which was an expensive outlay and only provided a few months of extra use. Highly recommend Kenmore!

Strong... Fast and everything you would want. Not only does it quickly wash all your clothes. It gives it a special soothing smell that makes it AMAZING. And when I bought it... It was cheaper than other dryers and washers. I love it. It has a Nice... Professional... Cool look. I would look at it and be like DAYUM you is a fine washer. But then other ones are like What the hell is that. VALUE is perfect. It looks good. It washes good. It is new. The only thing I would change is how long it would stay a good washer.

Every member in my family is using this dryer and we all have the same feelings about this machine. Best dryer I have ever owned. My sister has the same, exact dryer and also loves it as much as I do. The reason that I purchased this dryer is because of the durability described in the manual and it definitely has not let me down. This dryer is very reliable. My clothes are always wrinkle and static free, and I do not have to iron everyday. It is very energy-efficient and economical. The appearance of my dryer is incredible, the dryer fits perfectly in the only space that I had available for it. It is very easy to clean and keep clean. The amount of money that was charged and that I paid for this dryer was very much worth the amount of money. I had to borrow money from my father to purchase this dryer and I am so glad that I did, because it was worth it.

Satisfactory, no special features but the price was appropriate and the job gets done at the end of the wash day. The dryer was easy to use and Kenmores customer was responsive and helpful. No issues as of yet, but I have not owned the dryer long enough to make an educated assessment. Based on price it has lasted long enough to justify it. Does not stand out with appearance, there is no trim and it is a very plain dryer but for the price that is an acceptable compromise. Door opens down can be a bit inconvenient. The value of this Kenmore brand is unbeatable. The reliability and features are missing but the price on sale can be fantastic and I am willing to overlook certain things for a good price.

I started using this machine Oct 23, 2018 (the date we moved into our newly built home). We purchased an entire home full of appliances including the water softener from Sears. The washer worked ok for about 3 mos before I started calling service. Its still under the 1 yr warranty and I purchased the 3 yrs warranty too. At first they help you over the phone, too much deter, not HE, not the right kind of deter, too much fabric softener, cant use fabric softener, clean it with bleach, clean with vinegar, clean with A-Fresh, your water is too hard, its because you have a water softener, etc, etc! So far they have been here 6 times and their computer says, It is functioning fine and therefore there is nothing wrong with the machine. I ask, So I cant EXPECT to have clean clothes from a new wash machine? The store salesperson says, The tech makes the decision. The tech says, The machine is working fine, and refuses to take it apart to show me there is no stagnant, grimy water sitting in the bottom. This machine makes clothes 10x dirtier than before they went into it. Dont bother talking to corporate escalation dept (877-878-3687). They are well trained in giving you the runaround. One tech named Kyle is actually trying to solve this mystery of the lint-like, slimy, powdery, residue that gets onto (and is very difficult to get off) my clothes. I honestly dont recommend this washer or any other appliance that you may have to deal with Sears. Why cant people/businesses stand behind their products anymore? I bought this machine because in 2008 I purchased a Maytag Bravo that I thought was just like this one. I am told that the old motor was well built and that the government puts such high regulations on the HE washer that its not enough water to actually clean the clothes. If companies know this then why on earth are you selling this machine under the expectation that you will get clean clothes!? Id give the machine a negative 10 and the service department 1 out of 5. Id love for a manager or store owner to call me. Ive left messages on answering machines that say, We will call you back by the end of the day, and they NEVER call you back. I purchased mine in Mishawaka IN but the people Ive talked to on the 800 numbers are not from around this area.

The Kenmore washer and dryer set work very well together and does exactly what I need it to do. It washes and dries fast. I dont need specific or special detergent or any nonsense to use these for great fresh clean clothes. I like the simplicity of the washer and dryer and how its not smart or connected. Its easy to use and theres no need for all the whistles and bells. I inherited the washer and the dryer with the house, but they have been excellent appliances and are at least 10-15 years old and still work great. Ive only had to replace the knobs on the top of the dryer but that was about it.

My Kenmore products last between 10 and 15 years. Have owned Kenmore since we were first married 50 years ago. Of course, I take very good care of them. Very seldom, if ever, do I have to call a service man. I choose to get the fewest features on the appliances as I have found out that the less mechanic, the less the problem. Have found these products very reliable. Currently I have a white washer and a beige dryer. They do not match, but work all the time. Would not use any other brand. Am tempted to buy new more modern ones, but mine still work fine.

Love my washer and dryer. Works great for my husbands dirty work clothes and all my daughters clothes that she gets dirty. Also love the large load for blankets and towels have plenty of room.

Numerous Fdl, F11 and vibration problems: I purchased the machine in mid 2005 with five-year extended warranty. I had the CCU on both washer and dryer replaced. I complained numerous times over the course of five years about vibration and tub actually banging against the case. Each time, the technicians would stonewall me saying they could not replicate the problem. I repaired the CCU again and vibration has gotten worse. Finally, I heard about class action lawsuit going forward, but now after three years out of extended warranty, I am ready to give up and buy an LG or Samsung. So my laundry pair lasted 8 years and cost me over $2,000. My previous set cost half that and lasted 14 years. No more Sears for me, sad to say. Frustrating, to say the least.

The only brand that lasts. It has a better cleaning rotation and it rings out the clothes for faster drying. The only brand I want to clean my clothes. Not a favorite chore doing laundry... but a good machine makes it better! The only washer drum that I can fit a king size comforter in... I really disliked taking those to the laundromat. In the old days I had to drive to the next town over... but now I can stay at home and wash them. It is a nice sparkling white color. I like its appearance. It looks good side by side with the dryer. I am completely happy with the appearance. The value is you no longer have to drag clothes to the laundromat with your detergent and fabric softener and hunt up quarters and drag it back home. You save time and gas money... Very valuable!

Kenmore stackable washer/dryer - I think its ridiculous that you spend over a 1000.00 on an appliance and cant even buy parts for it. You have to order them and wait days!!!! If Sears is going to sell them they should carry parts. I should not have to pay 2 service charges. Rip off.

I have had my Kenmore appliances such as a washer and dryer for about 3 years. There isnt one thing I dont like about them. They get the job done. There is anything fancy about them but they work and thats all that matter to me. They make my clothes clean and fresh every time.

Kenmore Series 500, top loader washer with automatic load sensing - Ordered online, everything went wrong (multiple order numbers) from beginning to end. But, my biggest complaint is the actual washer. It has an automatic water sensor that doesnt give you enough water to completely wash the load. Even after two rinses, the clothes still come out with lint on my black capris (washed separately). They are not thoroughly washed and result in a big tight knot in my washer upon completion. I have tried deep wash, but theres no way to get additional water in it. The water sensor barely gives you enough water to get the clothes damp. I hate it. Give me the old fashioned one with a knob to select water level, and an agitator would be nice too. Not sure what genius decided washing clothes with no agitator and no water would be a great idea!!!

I loved this product from the first time I used it. It made me very happy that I could had put more loads in it without any problems. If you have a big family Im pretty sure you know how difficult it is to get all clothes dried. I depended so much on this product and it helped me out when I needed. It was really reliable to get clothes dry on time especially if I forgot to get them started. I really liked the appearance of this dryer. It made me really happy that it fit in the laundry room because in my apartment the room was kinda small and the dryer fit right in. I loved it and it lasted a long time. I liked the value of this product. It wasnt too expensive and it wasnt made cheaply either. The price for me was just right and I loved every bit of it.

Reliable. I have had a Kenmore for over 40 years. When I want to replace my washer/dryer I go to Sears first because I know I will get the top rated products. They have good selection of washer/dryers, their service people are knowledgeable, and I know I am getting a good product.

Weve had our Kenmore washer and dryer for 20 years or more and have been completely satisfied with them. The washer has had to be repaired occasionally, but its never been very expensive - much better to repair it than having to buy a new one.

They have been good, but the dryer is dying after ten years. It is a stack unit, and I am not impressed with the dryer at all. The washer is awesome, and is full size which is also excellent. Honestly, it just keeps on working, other than the dryer not being really effective. I thought it was due to the venting. But I changed the hose and that still doesnt work.

I feel it works great and I was very satisfied and would buy again. I would recommend anyone to buy washer or dryer that is Kenmore!

I have had my Kenmore washer for three years now and it has been excellent every day that Ive owned it. My Kenmore washer takes care of anything I need washed. It even holds blankets. I love the clean, white appearance of the washer. Its very neat and fits just right with what I need on a day-to-day basis. Also, the value was amazing and the low price that I got this washer and dryer for is incredible. This washer and dryer have been the best Ive ever owned and I have never had to get it serviced. This dryer works well, easy to use controller settings. Even my mother can use it. Love this dryer! After buying several high-end dryers that never last or dont work well. We decided to quit spending a ton of money on dryers! This by far has been our best dryer by a long shot! Works fantastic. Dries fast and get hit! Definitely would purchase again! It is a dryer, it is placed in the basement. I dont care about the appearance at all. It is cheap model and it was on sale when we bought it.

I have had them for 18 years and they are still working great. I have the Kenmore 70 series dryer and the Kenmore 80 series washer. I do several loads of laundry each week. I even soak football and baseball uniforms overnight and wash the next day. I have never had a leak. I have had the dryer serviced once and the washer once. I like that my washer is top load and it has a separate compartment for bleach, fabric softener and detergent. The dryer is easy to keep the lint trap cleaned out. I hope they never stop working because they do not make them last like mine.

It always dries really nicely and never gives me damp clothes. The controls are easy to use and the size is ideal for our home. I really like it! I have never had a problem fitting a load of laundry into my dryer, even a particularly large load or one full of bulkier items such as pants. The dryer is a nice size, compact and ideal for the space in which we keep it. It is simple but not especially plain-looking, thanks to its smooth design. I think anyone who has a small family and is just starting out will get the most value out of this dryer. It is perfect for a first home or apartment that is small and for a household that has maybe three to four members.

It can handle a good size load of laundry. The results are above average. I would not expect anything less from Kenmore. Its not very loud either. Its nice to wash laundry and not have to hear loud noises. Kenmore has always been a reliable brand for years. My model is no different. I go through laundry rather quickly and I can count on it to get the results I need for a clean and pleasant wash.It is white with a smooth finish. It has all the gadgets you need and more. My favorite feature is the wrinkle guard. Sometimes I just dont have the time to iron so it comes in handy wrinkle-free right out of the dryer. Its valuable because it saves time. Time is very valuable in my household. Some other models take longer to get the same results. This one is fast and effective and meets my daily or weekly needs.

It was broken down more than it was working. Lots of service calls over & over again. Did not clean clothes like it should have. Most of the time we had to re-wash the clothes a second time. It was not at all dependable. When it did work you had to wash the clothes a second time as it did not always get them clean. It was so loud you thought it was an airplane taking off. It was just a regular top loading washer and a normal electric dryer. It was about 35 years ago when we had these units. It was nothing fancy. Just a basic top load model. Would not recommend the Kenmore brand at all. We just did not have good luck with purchasing their brands at all. We know other people who had good luck with them but for us unfortunately it was the total opposite.

I trusted Kenmore appliances until my recent purchase. I bought a high end washer and dryer, including service plan. Washer has been a pain from the start, five service calls later and still not fixed. The repairman today said he couldnt do anything about it and told my husband to deal with it!! SHODDY JUNK product, terrible customer service. STAY AWAY!

On March 24, 2011 I purchased a new Kenmore Washer Model #21102 and a matching dryer which I have yet to hook or use. The dryer that is, not the washer. The washer has been a problem from day one. In my opinion its a design flaw on more than one account. The fins on this washer - and Im not a newbie to washers Ive had washers and dryers for over 50 years - and this the very first washer to tear clothing constantly and to get clothing lodged below the fins and thus tangle and tear them. It seemed to be more of a problem for my daughter so I was quite sure what was going on. Was it her or the washer but then it did the same for me.In the 50 years of owning washers Ive never had to replace a belt and shield on a washer either. Ive gone more than a decade without having to do so but this is now the 2nd time I need to replace both in less than 4 years. Apparently the Kenmore name is no longer bullet-proof. My mother went 20 years without seeing a repairman on her Kenmore appliances either. So what is this a faulty design flaw or just crap?

I have a Kenmore Washer and Dryer that I bought together about 3 years ago. The dryer has worked perfectly without any mishaps. The washer on the other hand has leaked and had the pipe burst about 3 times now. The first year it was great and then the second year is when everything went bad. I would recommend getting a Kenmore dryer because its amazing and fast. If you like wet laundry rooms, then buy the washer too.

My Kenmore dryer always has a constant heat that I can depend on. I can also count on my clothes never being wadded together, some of them still damp. I can always gauge the amount of time I need to set the dryer for based on my load size; it is predictable and reliable. It is easy to remove lint from the dryer and its parts, and easy to keep clean on the outside. I have been able to put my wet clothes in, set the time, and walk away knowing when it is finished, I will be able to fold and hang my laundry and put it away without some time of wrinkle or dampness issue.

The washer has a problem with balance and a load often needs to be distributed manually during the cycle; the dryer is not very effective when multiple towels are included in the load. The performance is pretty consistent from load to load = the need for rebalancing of the wash happens routinely, and having wet towels at the end of a drying cycle recurs pretty often. The washer and dryer were not bought at the same time, so one is white and one is beige; other than that, they fit my laundry room well and are not too obtrusive. Considering I have had the washer and dryer for 10 and 8 years, respectively, they have been great values. But given the improved current technologies, if I were in the market today, they would not be considered good values based on their performance.

The dryer works great. The different settings allow for the complete dryness or just throw wrinkled clothes to smooth them out. The wrinkle setting works amazing. It has worked every time. Very reliable.... Always drys clothes in the right amount of time. Any time I had an issue it was easy to fix. I like the appearance. It is sleek and classic. I do wish they had color options though. It would be nice to have options so it could be a modern laundry room. Very worth the money. Its reliable and compares well to other dryers that are slightly above this price. Again it is really worth the money.

It was really good and I enjoyed using the dryer because it made me feel like I was in control with the warmth and speed. I would recommend this to anyone. It came with a great warranty and a service report, which made me feel at ease. I liked how it dried the clothes and didnt make it pill a lot. The design was sleek, shiny, and wonderful. It caught my eyes because of its size and design, making my decision easy in terms of picking this first. I paid a good price for it, and I was surprised at how low it was. Everyone elses dryer was so expensive but this was really good and I was impressed.

The dryer dries clothes the way it should. I have not had any problems with my dryer. I am very happy. I could not ask for a better brand. This is a very good brand. The Kenmore brand fits into my lifestyle. This is a brand that will last a long time. I have used this brand before. I have found that the brand does not require a lot of maintenance. We have had our dryer for at least 3 years now and it still looks fairly new, like it just came out of the box. There are no scratches on it. I guess we paid a good price for our dryer. It didnt cost an arm and a leg. We paid 300 for the dryer. I think that is a good value for the money. We got it at a discount. The store we went to was having a sale.

We have a Kenmore Elite Smart Wash Quietpak 4 model 11049962603 that we bought in 08/2009 with a 2-year warranty. It is now 11/2011. The machine was replacing a 30 yr. old Maytag that still worked. Our 30 yr. old dryer had died and we thought we would buy a new energy saving set. We were sorry we did. The Maytag would probably still be working. The washer just stopped working the other day. We called Sears Repair to fix it (thats where we got it from). The repair guy came out and said the motor board needed to be replaced. He quoted us $671.13 to repair it. We paid $863.99 plus taxes for the machine (see the problem here?). We refused service at this time, because we wanted to see if something could be done about the costs. In my opinion, we would be better off getting another new machine that doesnt have 2 years of wear and tear on it (we are out $129 for the service call already).I called their 800 number to see if anything could be done. Yes, this is outsourced. I wish they would give the jobs to Americans. We need all the jobs we can get. Well, as with many others, I was told there was absolutely nothing they could do except sell me a 1-year extended warranty for $319.99. It would cover the cost of the repair guy, any parts and labor up to $500. If we take this route, we will be out $129 for the original service call, $319.99 for the warranty, and $171.13 for the costs above $500. The grand total is $620.12 (not much savings here). I called the Escalation Department at 800-376-0557 (at least, I got an American this time). Again, I was told there was nothing they could do since the warranty expired 3 months ago on my 2-year-old machine.The entire time I questioned them all on the price of the part to fix our machine. The repair guy wanted to charge us $503 for the part. On the Sears website, the part is going for $372.70. I asked everyone why such a big difference in the price to no avail. I was told, I dont know anything about the website.” Or, I was told, The repair people and the website each charge their own prices.” I was told by the repair guy that if we picked up the part ourselves, he would install it for another $129 for the call. The grand total here is $501.70 plus the $129 for the original service call. Well, if you are going to gouge customers for not only the service call but also on the parts, I am taking my business elsewhere because of the principle of it all. My husband searched the part out at other places online and we found we could pick the part up starting at $142 for a refurbish and around $225ish for new (we may fix it ourselves).

I owned a front load washer and dryer. I enjoyed the large amount of clothes that I could wash and dry. Even comforters were no problem for these machines. Unfortunately when the belts went out, it was not possible to have them repaired. The cost of repair would have been substantial. It was more feasible to buy a used washer, not a front load unfortunately. Keep up your extended warranty if you can afford it, and this will be the best washer and dryer you will ever own.

The Elite series washer and dryer set are priced pretty high however I am in an area without many choices. The machines operations are good however it is difficult to read the selections to choose from for setting the mode. I would recommend this pair.

Very dependable and washes the clothes thoroughly. The rinse cycle of my machine is quiet and each load stays perfectly balanced. Each load of laundry comes out perfectly ready for the dryer. My wife and I agree that the amount of clothes needed is met by our washer. The washer has never failed on any of the cycles. This includes the final spin cycle which has never been out of balanced. First impression of the machine boasts simplicity and easy to operate for beginners. The machiness instructions for cycles around the knob is the right size to see. The washer was reasonably priced. Fact is it fit our budget and the quality of the washer was amazing. Plus the warranty attached to the washer cost was minimal and covered repairs if needed.

I love Kenmore appliances... They are efficient, reliable, long lasting, models to fit every budget yet doesnt affect the quality... Great product... My washer lasted over 10 years my dryer 11... I have a beautiful refrigerator that works perfectly.

Loved the dryer, very fast - I can have dry clothes in 20 minutes. Also the wrinkle free setting is amazing - best part about it. Fits in a small space and works amazingly you should get it. I have had this machine for 4 years now. Had no one to come and repair the machine. Amazing product. It has not broken down or given up on me even when I have family over and do 10+ loads back to back. It looks great and it works great. The size of it is also great. It is also a great buck for space if you live in a small house - the space is amazing. The size and appended are great. It looks amazing. The money was worth what I got - it was a shiny nickel. I had a dryer before that was a couple years old and would always break down. I spent more repair that stupid thing than buy this awesome dryer.

I had my washer & dryer for over 20 years and it performed well for me during those years. The only reason I preferred to get rid of them was because I had a major flood in my home and both of them were involved in the flood waters. I decided not to take a chance on them and gave them away.

It is a good washer machine. Its HE efficient. The Kenmore brand is very good at producing washer/dryer machines that are of quality. The washer machine is reliable. It can fit all of my items according to its settings (like cotton, delicates, etc.). The appearance of the washer machine is satisfactory, in my opinion. The important thing is functionality of the product. The machine is efficient in its work. The value of the machine is good. The price of the machine was a fair market value price, not overly expensive.

When I purchased this washer, I held it to the utmost standard of washer and dryers and expected it to be extremely proficient. The appearance of the washer wasnt all that to me. Ive had and seen better washers. But I didnt choose this washer because of its appearance and if I have to choose between performance and appearance, Ill choose performance all day. This washing machine was amazing and didnt leave the clothes drenched in water. Washed like its supposed to and was long lasting. Had washer for 8 years but I wouldve liked for it to last me at least 10 years. This washer is a very dependable washer and would not disappoint. It washed like I expected it to wash.

I have never been so underwhelmed by a product. I dont notice it.. and thats how it should be. Id only notice it if it was broken, or my clothes werent coming out clean. I only have to do laundry once a week now, since I can get all my clothes in to my washer and then in to this dryer. It is very convenient. Why does a dryer need to look fancy? It looks clean and it fits in my closet and it is functional. It doesnt look chunky or trying too hard. This dryer has not given out on me yet, so I am happy with what I paid. Also, I got a warranty from the store, which is cool. Reliability adds to value.

I got my dryer at a furniture store and paid around eight hundred dollars. The value was definitely too high to me! But if youre gonna use any brand this is it! My dryer was white. The front loader has plenty of room on top! Its so easy to use & hook up was simple. I loved it. Its very clean and nice designed. Knobs were very easy to use. Only problem I had was my lint kept getting clogged after one load. But I washed rugs, covers, and a lot of items. Everything was done quick, nice & warm. I had it for four years before replacing it.

Its been an amazing washer and dryer. Lasted well longer than expected. I put huge loads in and am very rough on washers and its still never gave me a bit of trouble. It has strength of no other. Sturdy and durable. No load noises or roughness. Just plain amazing.

In July of 2016 we purchased a Sears Kenmore Elite front loading washer and dryer set. At the Sears store the salesman told us this was the best selling washer/dryer combos and that they were absolutely flying out of the store. On October 4, 2016 we noticed several of the lights were not working. Because we did not purchase the extended warranty from Sears we were referred to the manufacturer. As of today, December 26, 2016, the washer is still not repaired. We have spent countless hours on the phone looking for satisfaction. A repairman has been to our home three times (wrong parts every time). And are currently waiting on parts for a 4th try at fixing it. Apparently LG manufactures the computer module that is needed. Our most recent phone conversation ended with the comment get over it and buy a new washer. We bought a matching set and do want a different washer and dryer that do not match. We will never buy a Kenmore appliance again. Most people do not know that the components in Kenmores are from a hodgepodge of manufacturers. I would give Kenmore service a zero star rating if I could.

Always worked. Never had any problems getting clothes clean using this washer. Was always an everyday user. Never had any mechanical issues. Very reliable. Was able to keep up with 2 toddlers in the house. Kept clothes clean and never once doubted its reliability. I washed clothes on a daily basis most times and it always seems to get the job done. Was easy to clean. Didnt have any rust like a lot of the older models of the washers. Always looked brand new. Very nice looking models. Very budget friendly. Didnt cost a fortune to purchase. Maintenance on it was very cheap. The load capacity helped with water bill and dryer was very cheap on electric...

Very cost effective and gets clothes very clean. Extra features like delayed start is amazing. Super quiet and easy to use. No mechanical problems. Has 60 different options and combos to get your clothes clean. My favorite is the express wash. I always find something I need to wear but it dirty, 20 min later Im ready to go. They look nothing like the wash/dryer I grew up with. These machine are intuitive and really make laundry easy. I am saving money on detergent and water!!! This will help to get clothes cleaner while using less detergent and water. You clothes get dry five times faster. And easy of use make doing laundry almost fun.

I purchased my Kenmore Heavy-Duty washer and dryer set the next week available after I got married in Feb 1976 (seventy-six). That makes it about mid-March 1976. Here now in Jan 2020 I can truthfully say that I never had one speck of trouble from the set until now when the washer stopped draining. Having a Sears repairman respond to fix the problem revealed that it cannot be repaired. I must now try to find another Kenmore Washer. Admittedly, I did not use it on any routine regularity and once not used at all when in an apartment without a hookup for a couple years. But, I suspect I won't need it to last as many as 44 more years since I'm now 73 years old. It worked just great for me!

My Kemore has never let me down. It is the go to brand that I would buy again. They are up to date and well made. I have owned other brands and they have not compared to my Kenmore. The tub size is good and the programming dials are easy to read and use, with plenty of options for which every type of loads you are doing. The dryer is also big enough to do many pairs of jeans & towels without worrying that they wont dry.

One of the best washer I came across. It washes good. Gets your clothes clean. I have never had a problem... I would recommended this washer to my family and friends. If this one would ever break down I would buy the same one. It is a very large washer. Fit a lot of clothes in one load and it still washes good and get my clothes sparkling clean... I couldnt of got a washer this good for this low of a price. This was the best deal I ever have gotten... I love the both of them. I couldnt live without a washer or dryer. I wash and dry clothes once a week. I have had my washer and dryer for over a year. And not once did I ever have problems with them. Its not that loud either. You can barely hear it rubbing...

It does everything that I want it to do and that is all I need. Functions properly, not too noisy, can handle heavy loads, and has nice presets. Overall I think it is very reliable. There is nothing wrong with it. It is there when I need it. It has not malfunctioned or done anything abnormal. I think the appearance is kind of bland, but I didnt buy it for appearance. As long as it can get the job done then Im fine with how it looks, unless it looks broken. The value is about right. Im fine with the price that is used to buy the dryer. I do not think it is overpriced, the price is absolutely fine from what it stands for.

I had a Kenmore washer and dryer that worked great. They washed and dried my clothes fast. They never left a stingy odor in the clothes. They were easy to use and they lasted a very long time. We are a family of 6 so there is always clothes to wash. We wash every other day. There is uniforms and regular clothes, my husbands worked clothes and every time we washed we had the same great results - clean clothes with a fresh scent. This brand is innovative, smart, energy efficient. Its a brand that I have recommended to my family and they got it and liked it also.

It performs very well with even an air dry cycle. It dries the clothes at a very good time frame expected. I can expect my dryer to fit all my drying needs. I can choose from very hot for items such as towels, or permanent press or no wrinkle dry for shirts, etc. The appearance of my dryer is solid white with front loading compartment. It stands the normal size as all dryers basically. Its color reflects a average color of a dryer. My value of the dryer was an satisfactory amount. I cant recall exactly since its been a few years, but I believe it was like 300.00 or around that figure.

I have a past history with the Kenmore products and Im not disappointed. Theyve created a great product that doesnt need any improvements. My Kenmore washer is honestly the best washing machine Ive ever owned. I like its advanced settings and features, quick washing, effective, very quiet machine, and fits perfectly in my laundry room along with the new dryer which is also a great product. Ill be sticking with Kenmore from here on out. I have very good experience and its worth the money.

Does what it says it will do, gets the clothes clean and doesnt require special detergent. Did not need any repairs. Will take a large enough load to wash what I need it to wash. I have a family of 4 and typically do 3 loads of laundry a week. It will comfortably accommodate a full-size comforter. Classic styling in white. Washer and dryer match, but if I needed to replace one or the other, I wouldnt have to buy them both again. Easy to clean surfaces. Price paid for this washer and dryer is a fair price based on what it does and what I need it to do. You can buy more expensive models that have advanced features for more money. This one is pretty basic.

I have always used Kenmore washers and dryers as they come with great warranties and are a great product you can trust. I have had both gas and electric dryers. I had trouble going to public laundry facilities as the washers and dryers were never any good and sometimes had to rewash as they were not even clean, you will never have this problem with a Kenmore. You can choose from top loading or front loading and very stylish washers and dryers (even stainless steel), all sizes and capacities for all of your needs, you just cannot go wrong when you choose Kenmore. This is my choice of reliable washers and dryers and they are made by a trusted company which believes in their products and stands behind them which is something not everyone does nowadays.

It was powerful and reliable. The wash options were great. Never needed a repair or had any problems. It also saved on water and electricity expenses. It was the one washer that I never had any issues with. It never failed or had any problems. I would only buy Kenmore in the future. It would put repairmen out of business for good! It had a new XE appearance and wasnt over the top with options. It look great of in our house and was very easy to match both with another Kenmore or any other name brand dryer. Fantastic value. It was very competitive in pricing and when you take the reliability into consideration, the value only gets better. They could actually charge more and I would still probably buy them. But dont.

The dryer works awesome. Clothes get dried really fast. Easy to run. Doesnt cost much to run. Looks great. I have it in my main floor bathroom. Not like the older days when you kept ugly washer and dryers down in the cellar so you didnt have to look at them. Dryer was very reliable. I used to set the timer and the clothes would be dry faster than most other dryers I have owned in the past. Also love all the settings on the dryer. Never have to guess on the time you need. Love the appearance of this dryer. I couldnt believe the price I got the set for. I havent seen anything come even close to the price I paid for my set. I shopped all over trying to find something even close to this set and everything I found were at least double the price.

I was drying my clothes in my Kenmore dryer and was fixing to go to bed. When I walked in my kitchen, I heard a loud noise and smelled something burning. I realized that my dryer was on fire. I quickly unplugged it and realized that the side panel was burnt, my clothes smelled like smoke. I have had this dryer, approximately 5 years. I just did not realize how dangerous the malfunction of a dryer could be. The worry that I have is what would have happened if I had not walked back in there before retiring for the night. Shouldnt there be a safety switch, in which it turns itself off in the event of an incident like this.

I have a front load extra large capacity washer with sensors that determines load size and how long, strenuous or light the wash cycle will be. So far, I don't have to worry about what I am washing - heavily soiled items, denims, delicates or bulky linens, this washing machine has done a perfect job. Love it!

This washer is promoted as a large load, energy-efficient design. If you put more than half a load the washer spins so out of control that it shakes my whole 2 story house. Then it starts the rinse cycle again and drains in an attempt to even out the load. One time I let it progress to 10 extra cycles until I could not take it anymore and had to unplug, empty clothes wet, ring out by hand and then put in the dryer. The fact there has not been a recall or a buyback program is a joke. Whatever engineer designed, tested and put this to market should be ashamed of themselves.

The dryer does its job very well. It is fast and leaves the clothes fully dry on the first time. All the buttons work great and there is no off balancing going on. The washer fits all of my needs. I do about 3 loads of laundry per day back to back and the clothes do not stick get stuck or anything. It also can hold a king size comforter which is great. The dryer is a white front loading dryer and the metal it is made out of is very durable. I have no complaints about it. The buttons are steel and the handle on it works very nice. The value I paid was worth it. I paid one hundred dollars for it on sale and I got a deal I think. It is well worth the money I have had it for two years and it works great.

This was a very dependable dryer. Dried clothes quickly and lasted for years with no problems. It had to be serviced only once all the years we owned and would highly recommend in the future. It worked reliability everyday it was needed. It helped raise three girls and kept their clothes bright and fresh many years. I was sad to see it leave when it was replaced. The dryer looked very good and its paint and looks did very well even though it was in a damp basement on a cement floor. I would recommend this unit to anyone. This dryer was a great value. I wish they still made them as well as this one was. I dont remember what paid but we received many years of service from this dryer.

I purchased a new top of the line Kenmore Elite front load washer and dryer. After four months of use, we noticed that there was a foul smell coming from the inside of the washer. Using bleach with the washer set on the clean cycle, we would attempt to rid the washer of this horrid smell at least once every three days.After a month of stinking clothes, we returned to the Sears store where we purchased these units and were told that all Sears front load washers mildew and that we could purchase chlorine tablets and use in place of the bleach. We were also told that what we were experiencing was nothing new, that this problem plagued this type of washers. I was never warned by the salesperson at Sears that in six months, every load of clothes would stink to high heaven! Sears knew about this problem prior to selling me this faulty unit which is now one year old. They should replace it or give me back a depreciated value.

All clothes were not shrink by using Kenmore. Have features I want and easy to use. The most important thing is save water and electricity. I am very happy when I change my washer and dryer to Kenmore.

The washer has many different options which is great for my husbands heavy soiled work clothes, extra large load option plus a second rinse and a soak option for my pretreated items. Love it. I can always count on my dryer. I never have to dry more than once. I love the quick wrinkle setting, great for work clothes. The air only works great for rugs and pillow. My washer and dryer are good old fashion white. Pretty simple, no extreme amounts of buttons. Also pretty easy to use, not difficult. Plus a buzzer mute option. My washer and dryer value is priceless. They have paid for themselves repeatedly. I would recommend them to everyone.

They came in a house I bought which was 3 years old, so I assume the machines were the same age. I kept the house for 6 more years before selling and the appliances went with the house. In the time I had them, the only problems I had were the centrifugal fabric dispenser needed periodic cleaning as it would develop a heavy coating on it and I did have to replace one heating element in the dryer. Being Kenmore, that was owner serviceable.

Good size and works great. Have not had any issues yet except the one time a shirt got caught in the door. It ruined it when it started spinning. Its been very reliable so far. I think we bought the warranty but no need to use it yet for either washer or dryer. It looks like all the other front load machines. Looks nice. No issues. Can stack to save space. Ours is white and it looks very good. I dont remember the exact price but I think it was fairly reasonable to buy. We didnt buy the most expensive machine but it does everything that we need.

These dryers dry large load in half the time and theres a lot of room in it. I have never had an issue with this. It is also a very lite weight dryer. Always works. I have had it for a few years now. Its amazing. I love this dryer. I will continue to buy this brand for all my houses and or apartments. It is very nice looking, a lovely shiny white color, perfect for use in the kitchen, blends in nicely. I just all around love this brand and this dryer. Thank you. All other brands just dont dryer the same and are small enough to store in smaller houses and or apartments. I will continue to use and love this product.

I have had this washer and dryer for like 20 years and it is still working!! I have had to replace the heating element a couple of times in the dryer, but that is of course to be expected because they do not last forever. Kenmore is a great brand and I am very happy!! When I do need to purchase another set it will be another Kenmore from Sears for sure!! Very happy customer!!! I would very highly recommend anyone who may be in the market for one to purchase a Kenmore washer and dryer from your local Sears or a sears online.

The washer does fine but you need to leave the door open so that it does not get musty. Sometimes the clothes do not get as clean as I would like to get. The reliability has been fine. I have not had it serviced. It has not broken down in the ten years that I have owned it. I do not use it as heavily as most as there are only two people on the household and no kids. The appearance is appealing and looks good in my laundry room. It matches my dryer and is pleasing to the eye. I did not get a color. It is white which is clean looking. It was a good value for the money. I bought it on sale at Sears and also got reward points from the purchase. Kenmore is a good brand.

Dryer was formerly owned. Was used previously for over 5 years and I have used it 4 plus years without any issues. Just clean lint trap after each use, occasionally vacuum lint from under lint trap and you are good to go.

The washer and dryer by Kenmore were amazing. Easy to use and really did a great job washing my familys clothes. The washer machine has every setting you need for all the different fabrics of your clothes. The dryer was also amazing. Never had a problem with my clothes not being dried all the way.

The washer was awesome. It was large enough to hold my blankets and bigger items where I didnt have to drag them to the laundromat anymore and got them cleaner than any other washer that I had ever owned. It wrung them out twice as good as any other machine I had owned so it meant less drying time. The washer was extremely dependable, reliable the whole time I owned it. It never let me down. It always got my clothes thoroughly and always wrung them out to the max. It was very elegant, very easy to keep clean and the overall appearance was sweet. They had a selection of colors so I could coordinate it so it didnt look tacky in my house. It was an exceptional value. I got both the washer and dryer for $2,000.00 with a 2-year warranty, which included delivery and set up.

Although it is just your basic dryer, it works well. It doesnt have the bells and whistles, it does do what it is intended for which is drying clothes. It was a dependable machine that never needed servicing. The machine is capable of holding a large load very easily. It will also easily handle small loads. It can handle delicates as well as heavy duty loads. Cant go wrong with this machine. Modern sleek lines. Looks nice in any home. I would highly recommend this machine for all your laundry needs. It doesnt get any better than this. All machines are costly. You get what you pay for. You can get cheaper machines but you would be sacrificing quality for saving a few dollars.

Purchase a kenmore washer and dryer in september 2012 from sears. Today august 17 noticed rust forming around the perimeter of the bleach dispenser. First amazed that this should happen to a kenmore. Then after reading similar messages on the web, disappointed that Kenmore has not done anything to correct the problem. And by disavowing any responsibility for the issue under warranty, by doing this I have the impression that they knew of this issue some time ago. I will try and correct the problem but like many others have found.... rust never really goes away. May be the last time I buy a Kenmore and products from whatever manufacturer actually makes the machine. There was a time, if in nothing else, you could trust a Kenmore.
