We have a 2-year old Kenmore Series 700 Washer. On December 12th the hose on the rear of the machine failed due to corrosion. Our home was flooded. The hose was replaced and failed again in 3 weeks due to corrosion or some chemical reaction. We had our house re-grounded by an electrical company. Two weeks later the same result. We need technical help so that we do not have another $100,000 insurance claim.

I have had bad experiences with Whirlpool washers in the past. Less than five years ago, we decided to purchase a new washer since our two-year old Whirlpool washer was giving us endless problems. We purchased a Kenmore Elite from Sears. We did not know that our washer was actually a Whirlpool washer. We have started with the same problems with this washer as we did with our Whirlpool washer. I just learned that our machine was actually manufactured by Whirlpool. I was told by Kenmore that other Kenmore Elite washing machines were recalled with the same problem, but does not include my model.I was transferred to so many different places, including Maytag (why Maytag?) to try to resolve my problem. If my machine is having the same problem as those other models that were recalled, there is a great chance that mine should be included in the recall. I never got to speak to the right department. The repair is costing me half of what I would have to pay for a new one. Now, I dont know where to go to get a reliable washing machine. I thought that paying a descent amount was going to give me a descent working machine. I believe that disclosing the manufacturer on appliances should be required because not everything that shines is gold. A reliable brand on the outside is not always what you get on the inside!

The washer constantly smells like mildew, even after cleaning the gasket with bleach, and running an empty load with hot water and bleach. I have heard from several other friends that they have the same issue with this washer. My laundry room always smells like mildew, and clothes have to be removed immediately, or they will need to be re-washed.

Turn knobs are easy to use and cant complain about the looks of the washer. I liked the smooth surface look and feel. Its a basic washer and has very good value for what you get, just would never buy one again and I would not recommend buying this washer due to all the issues I had with mine. I had the washer drum break down at least 2x while I owned. Had issues with manufacturers warranty. This washer is not reliable. Stay away. I would purchase a completely different brand. Never good experience with any Kenmore appliances.

A little over 14 years ago we purchased our one-piece stacked Kenmore Washer/Dryer from Sears for $599. Since then, Ive used the unit nearly every day for our family. I just wanted to let you that its working great and Id recommend the Kenmore stacked Washer/Dryer to anyone. Its nice to know that in this day of disposable products the Sear stacked Washer/Dryer is a product I can depend on.

Kenmore is a good brand with good quality. Its fast, fast-drying and clothes come out fresh and dry even with the short period of time of drying. I love the simplicity but with good performance and its durable. Its easy to operate without reading the manual. I also love the size, it has more space inside, and you can put in more clothes. I highly recommend this brand and I assure you, you will love this brand, and you will not regret your decision of choosing this brand.

I have this Kenmore 500 Series washing machine. I wash tons of clothes all the time. Ive even switch to washing small loads. My clothes are never clean. They come out, they smell bad, the towels stink all the time because they cant agitate and wash. The water just runs through them and comes back out. It doesnt move the clothes and no theres nothing wrong with my washing machine. Its not broken. It just sucks. Dont buy this product. I think you guys should recall these washing machines.

I only have one complaint - is the front load washer gets a bad smell. I have tried a lot of products but none really help. The water stays in the rubber ring and molds. So the next time I will buy a top load.

This Kenmore top loading high Efficiency low Water washer #2130 is a piece of crap, always having problems with the balance. The machine is level on all sides. And we tried all to fix this problem to no avail. Bought at sears in Elliot Lake outlet store 6 months ago.

We purchased the Kenmore water/energy efficient washer and we wash on either room temperature or warm water. Laundry most of the time come out not as expected with unclean chocolate stains as an example. Also, we were told by Kenmore that we have to run the express cycle (Very hot water) with vinegar in the detergent pocket to remove residual detergent and to improve the washer ability to clean even normal day to day stains. We are not happy with our purchase. Another aspect that made us unhappy is the annual PM included in a 5 year warranty (paid extra) that often the subcontractor is sending washer-untrained technicians to perform the PM.

It has a great size capacity to wash several clothes at one time. There is a delicate and regular and spin cycle. I truly would recommend this machine to anyone. This washing machine is very reliable. You can fit numerous items in at one time and always expect them to come out clean and fresh. We have not had any issues with our washer at all. We choose the white washing machine as most of our items are white. The inside has a pretty good size tub and there are numerous options that you can choose from for a cycle to wash your clothes. We paid around $300 for our washing machine which I feel is a great value. If you think about how much money you will be saving from not having to go to the laundromat then you will quickly realize that this is truly an excellent value not to mention definitely more convenient.

It cleans very good. Easy to work. Buttons are easy to press and Works really well. Very pleased. I have not had a problem. I wash clothes at least 3 times a week cause I have a newborn. Washes really good. Its small and fits right in the corner of the basement. I really like this model. Its lightweight. I can move it if I need to. I got this on sale but would of paid full price. Was not expensive at all. And it was worth every penny I paid for it. I really recommend this one.

This washer is large and handles my kids messy clothes easily. It is quiet and uses much less water than my previous washer. It can handle bulky loads with ease. We have had this washer for 5 years and have never had any issues to the need to call for a service repair. Best part is, if you follow the directions, dirty clothes come out clean! It isnt the most modern look, and it has a lot of different buttons, but it is a practical looking washer. The dial might be a bit antiquated looking, but it is easy to use. This washer is a little more expensive than others, but it is eco-friendly and cuts down on water use, which in drought-stricken areas makes it totally worth it. Plus, it is competitively priced with other front loaders.

Washer twisted clothes almost from the beginning. After a period of time washer would be unbalanced. Replaced the suspension rods and found out there was a recall for that problem.

I brought a Kenmore washer in March of 2010. By the summer of 2010, the machine dial needed to be replaced. My washer was still under warranty, so the part and labor was covered. It has not been two years, and the dial broke again. My washer is no longer under any warranty, due to being on disability, and I am unable to afford the extended warranty. I feel the washer should have lasted longer than a year and a half. I also feel Sears should fix this washer for free. I have to try to make the washer work, by turning the dial from the bottom, and hope that the machine will land on the wash cycle.

Do not purchase this Kenmore Elite washer. The washer constantly stops due to uneven loads. Customer service is worse than the washer. Saw several reviews where its obviously a problem and have even had recalls on several models, but more concerned about selling home warranty than fixing the problem. Dryer is great though.

Ive had my Kenmore washing and drying machine for more than 9 years and has worked wonders. Washes and dries my clothes very well. Leaves a clean scent. Nothing has broken down yet. Makes no noise, quite silent when in use. Very content with both.

We bought a Kenmore 600 series early in 2018 after selling our home and leaving the wonderful 22 year old Maytag washing machine behind. What a mistake. This new Sears product is the epitome of young people not thinking through what they are trying to accomplish. To be more specific, these HE machines are designed to save water. But they do not clean clothes because the water level is too low. How is that an improvement? And what if you bump the power button by mistake... Out goes the water. How ridiculous. Often our clothes are left with detergent residue from not getting dissolved and we have to wash them again. Weve used more water. What I have found useful when washing clothes is to pause the machine and add a few gallons of water, let it spin a few minutes to get the soap to disperse with the added water, then pause the machine again and literally unplug the machine and allow the clothes to soak an hour or so dependent on the degree of stains. If I could bring back my old Maytag I would but that deal is done. Engineers, and I use that word lightly, have screwed the pooch.

Waiting almost 2 months for service!! Kenmore Elite - Glass Top Load Washer unit is JUNK and Sears service is WORST! Second time top exploding in three months! I believe this unit is a safety HAZARD and SHOULD be RECALLED!! And redesigned!! Broken glass is dangerous especially around children! I would stay VERY far from this washer!!! SO SORRY I BOUGHT IT!! Purchased a Kenmore Washer Model 796.41382410 in Oct. 2014. A small plastic magnetic catch on the door broke and Sears will not sell that part alone. They want me to buy a new door for $200.00 plus shipping. None of the small plastic parts appear to be available alone. All must be purchased as part of a larger (and very expensive) assembly. Last Kenmore for me.

The value of a Kenmore is priceless because its worry free. If in need of repair, parts are easily obtainable. Kenmore is an easy machine for a repairman to work on and parts dont cost an arm and a leg.

My Kenmore appliance is so great. It is very reliable and Ive never needed to have a repair done on this appliance. Also, this Kenmore washer is very quiet! It is also very roomy and the appliance itself seems very sturdy. I would recommend a Kenmore Washer to anyone who is looking for an appliance. Also, this Kenmore was bought back in the late 90s and it still works perfectly as long as I clean it properly every few months to keep it going.

Its a good size and works very good for many washes. It cleans well and not too big in size. I took the time to look for a washer that will last. It does the job by cleaning the first time really good. It can hold lots to clean which lessen the amount of washes. Overall I have been very happy with the overall quality. The appearance is ok. I have had this washer fixed twice. It doesn’t clean as well. I get frustrated...no more insurance for machine. Will check which wash is better next time. I bought the soap which is recommended for the washer and still get frustrated.

My washing machine is very easy to operate and figure out. It also washes quietly and effectively. Theres not a lot of buttons so not much to figure out. My washers reliability I think is great. I rely on it completely. It holds a lot of clothes or towels at once and I even wash my king size comforter in it and I have never had any problems. The overall appearance of my washer is plain but clean. Its just white with silver buttons so nothing fancy, but easy to read the controls. The value of this washer I think overall is worth it. It washes clothes just like you need and washes quietly and quickly and extremely easy to control.

We bought this during a presidents day sale and Ive love my Kenmore front loader washer. It has not needed any repairs but with my extended warranty the service man came to check out everything for free. Its perfect!

Ok so this is a love-hate relationship with this machine. Great for water management but it seems either fill it completely or a small load w/ little water there is no medium or in between. If I have a large load I put it on deep fill and everything is nice and clean. Auto loads are useless unless a very small load. White setting bulky setting all seem the same. A medium load which is most of my laundry needs. Forget it. Be prepared to add water. On auto only the bottom clothes are saturated and washed and if you use a powder forget about it. It’s either full water wash or very small. There is no in between w/ this washer. Bummer.

Kenmore HE no agitator washer. I have called a few times to complain on the wash it does. Sometimes I need to put thru another rinse and spin. Some of my colored clothes come out with white streak, sometimes my whites feel very gritty and my clothes feel like they are not really washed and clean. Hate this machine. I will either seek and buy a new one or suffer with it.

Kenmore brand was very pleasing and the quality was great. It lived up to it standards and I was very happy with the choice I made with choosing their product. I needed a washer and drying for my apartment I was moving into so I decided to look at some in Sears. Not only did they have a wide selection but the prices were decent and customer service was excellent. So I had a wonderful experience all the way around when I decided that I needed to purchase these two appliances.

The product washes the clothes well and doesnt leave them soaking wet. It leaves my clothes fresh! It separates my clothing pieces and doesnt bunch them up together. I can put multiple pieces or items in the washer without any issues. I can put on heavy load and still get a reliable wash. The washer is very reliable. Ive had it for some time. It works like its brand new! And The appearance is simple and chic. It has a nice front which is attractive for a washer. The washer is a front load so I can see all of what is going on while the clothes are washing. This is definitely worth the value. It is more durable than any other wash I have bought in my previous years.

Machine was delivered by Sears in 1990 and has sat patiently, and diligently cleaning my clothes, without any maintenance or repairs since that time. That would be 28 years. Every single feature works as well as the day it was delivered.

I just purchased my Kenmore January 27, 2019. The soak button is odd and does not really do me any good but I had a horrible experience with LG so I am holding out hope for this new washer.

Four washing cycles to choose from, including the pre-wash cycle, large capacity tub, good cleaning performance. Only one problem was the liquid fabric softener build up needed maintenance. Purchased, performed, and lasted an incredible twenty years for a family of six. Replaced due to the arrival of a unexpected bundle of joy. Very busy mothers need, such as I was, needed the confidence of the reliability. Ran almost constantly. Balance of the tub capacity, very good. Large enough for all blankets, comforters, and a very fair amount of towels, jeans, etc. in loads. This washer was more for the performance than its appearance. If I needed an attractive appliance, I still would have chosen this model. I was more involved in the washers performance than the appearance. Value was well worth the cost of the appliance. Dependable and reliable. Used for two decades and only one service call on the appliance.

This machine has been nothing short of reliable. It has worked for more years than I can remember and has needed minimal maintenance. If it ever broke, I would buy the exact same one again. This washing machine has always worked and has never broken. This machine still looks as good as the day we bought it. It has never done anything that would impact its general appearance. If anything, there is minor wear on the inside. We have gotten more than our moneys worth out of this washer. I would recommend it to my friends.

It gives a good drying! It doesnt take really long to finish a load. It is energy efficient and doesnt make noises loudly. Kenmore is a brand to trust. It has a big enough of area to put a huge load in, it doesnt mess up colours, it has a timer to tell you what cycle its on. It has white for the colour, its shiny that you turn the light on you can see it shimmer. It has a huge tub, its the Kenmore brand. Its awesome! I cant remember how much we bought it for. In all honesty it was a good deal for it being a major brand. I recommend getting it because ours last a long time.

It washes the clothes really well and is very quiet. However you cant add anything once it starts which can be inconvenient at times. I seem to always find a stray towel. The Kenmore washer is very durable. I have not had any problems with it performance wise since I bought it. Everything looks like it was made very solid and built to last. The Kenmore washer has a very modern and trendy look. I really like the glass front door. It is especially nice if your home is like mine and you dont have a traditional laundry room. It was a bit pricier than some of the other models I was looking at but overall for the features and look I think it was a very good deal.

One of the best machines Ive ever owned. Cleans with very minimal water consumption. You spend half the amount of time doing laundry. It is very energy efficient as well. This machine is very reliable. It is Made by one of the best manufacturing companies in the industry. Very quiet while washing clothes. Never had any problems with my purchase of the product. The overall appearance of machine is appealing. It comes in a multitude of colors to choose from. All controls and buttons are well placed. Has alarm to confirm when finished. The perceived value is nice. The quality of product you would expect to pay more for. You can get a great deal when purchased as a set. Overall Im very pleased with the price. Everything about this experience was the best. Our washing machine went out. We decided to go buy a whole new set at home depot. The staff found what we needed and wanted in less than 10 minutes. He was very knowledgeable and polite. He even got it delivered the next day... And moved old set to the curb. :) This set has lasted for at least five and a half years. I have had no problems. I keep the warranty updated after my last incident... But also because I love this set the best. It fits my family very well. The kids are even starting to learn.This had everything I needed for my needs and laundry room. Every setting had been used many times over. Never have had a garment ruined. Everything is still very easy to understand... Especially with the ever so handy instructions... Lol. The value was simply stellar. I questioned the excitement at first... But the more I researched, I found that I was getting a great deal. Nothing has gone wrong in the five years that we purchased the set.

Excellent washing machine. Many features with plenty of cycles. Had it for 11 years and have has no trouble. Never been serviced. Its an e machine which saves water and power. If it broke down today, I would buy another.

I like the technology used in the Kenmore washing machines. My clothes come out nice and clean every time. The cycles were gentle enough for delicates and then tough enough for getting out big stains and odors. I also liked the fact that the machine did not make too much noise through its cycles. The spin cycle was strong but not noisy as other machines tend to be.

DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE WASHING MACHINES(Kenmore Elite )! Since the very first day we brought this piece of crap home, it has been nothing but frustrating! Its very rare when the cycle completes without it stopping because it is barely out of balance! I load the clothes as evenly as is humanly possible! Also, the clothes often come out NOT clean and sometimes have soap on them (I do NOT use too much). Prior to purchasing this washer, my husband and I talked to the salesman extensively about this washing machine to ensure that we were buying a decent one--obviously he had no clue. SUPER ANNOYING.Miss my old one, and miss the days of old when washing machines and appliances in general were well made, and made to last! I called the Sears company that sold me this, but they could care less that I am not satisfied in the slighted way! They said I load it wrong. REALLY!? DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND RESEARCH ONLINE. DO NOT GET FEEDBACK FROM THE SALES PEOPLE AT THE STORE!

I purchase this washer about 3-4 years ago and the problem of rust is getting worst. The rust started after 1 year on the lid then it accelerated to inside and now the rust stays on most of the clothes I wash. When we look inside with a flashlight, we see that inside is all rusted and peeling off. I have a baby coming. When I tried to wash the babys clothes the rust stays on the clothes and its hard to take out. I had to rewash them by hand. Im really frustrated since we follow the manual very well to take care of this machine. I cant believe this will happen to a 3-4 years old washer since my mom is currently using a Maytag for over 10 years and it still works fine without rust. I hope to have it repair by Sears as soon as possible.

UL code comes up on every load of clothes, not overloaded! Stinks and smells like mildew, clothes do not get clean and finding small holes in clothes. Had board replaced but did not stop UL code, had stabilizers in drum replaced. Sounds like an airplane taking off when it spins! Have to reposition clothes on every load, takes forever to do a load of clothes! Will never buy a Kenmore washer again or shop Sears again! Going back to the old style washer with agitator. My daughter gave hers away and got a regular washer, not HE. They all stink and have mold in them!

To put it mildly, I am totally fed up with this Kenmore Top load series 700 washer. More often than not, I have to repeat an entire wash, as I just have, but for the third time (same load) because the clothes come out with a scuzzy residue all over them. I have tried deep fill, two rinses, etc. etc. Nothing works with any consistency, and it is ludicrous to have paid almost a thousand dollars for a machine which, from its first day, refuses to wash clothes satisfactorily. Is there no way to make Kenmore accountable for marketing and selling a product which is such a miserable failure?

Fast and efficient. Has a wide variety of cleaning modes each with a high, normal, and light setting - can select the perfect options for what you need to wash. Has never had an issue or broken for any reason. Seems to work as well as it did the day I bought it, I bought it about five years ago. The Kenmore Washer has a very striking appearance. Modern, stylish and with either a black or white finish. It transforms the laundry room into a room you wouldnt mind company seeing. Good value. Was a little bit more expensive than other models, although this Kenmore Washer has more features and options than even a mid tier washer.

I purchased a Kenmore elite washer HD3 in March 2011. After more than 17 months, the main control unit stopped working. Sears charged me $503.00 for it plus tax and labor to a total of $688.24 for repair when the control unit at appliance parts is only $255.00.I paid a new washer to repair the one that is only 16-monts old. A rip off by Kenmore (making such washer) and Sears charging such an amount to fix an appliance bought at Sears store. Stay away from Sears and Kenmore.

It is good enough. Kenmores they are like Maytag washers. They last forever. It is a good washer for me. It is a very reliable washer and it does the job. Could be a little bigger and I increased my family recently and with an increase has more clothes to wash. It is just like any washer, white and functional cycles that I needed a degree to learn how to work. It is a good washer and I am glad I got it and it should be very good to me. Well when I bought my washer it was on sale and it was a good deal at the time. I paid the right price.

It washes the clothes nicely without taking much time and without making much noise as was the case with my previous washer. The delicate wash keeps my clothes safe and there is also a separate dispenser for the fabric softener and bleach. Since it has been purchased recently, cant tell much about the reliability but havent had any problems till now and expect that will not have any issues in future too. Would have loved if there was an option of black or silver grey. I have the basic white which is not very attractive and also doesnt match with the other appliances in the house. Have compared with most of the other brands for which I have other appliances. This one has a better value for money than most of the other brands.

My husband and grandson both work in construction and have very dirty clothes. This machine does not get stains out. I need to always pre-wash and do extra rinse. This is not energy or water saving! I have allergies and use the free & clear types of HE detergent, but still need to do an extra rinse. We also have mildew problems even though I follow the directions for cleaning the machine. I want my old one back!

A lightning damaged the wires of Laundry Center Kenmore 1YU1000 purchased in September 2009. Technician no. ** repaired the wires on August 16 and charged $408.64.After one week waiting for the parts, the washer was used immediately and it did not complete the cycle and left the laundry soaked in water. A second technician came today and said that the water pump and a belt were defective and to replace them, we would be charged $184.91. I ask you, is this appropriate for a barely two-year-old appliance? Never again will I buy anything else from Sears.

My Kenmore is the most reliable machine I have ever owned. From tiny one or two piece loads to the stuffed sheets and blankets this Kenmore can be totally counted on to thoroughly clean and spins out so well it just doesn’t take long to dry. Love Kenmore. Sad about Sears.

This is an HE, top loader, without agitator machine. It has no presoak cycle and I miss having one. Additionally it has no softener dispenser. It came with a softener ball which got lost with the passing of time. Had I more shopping time I would have not purchased this machine. On a positive note, it has been reliable and in ten years has had only one repair.

It washes my laundry quick and they always come out extremely clean. Usually I can do 5 loads in 4 hrs. I play football and my jersey is always grass stained. I just throw it in the washer and it always comes back with no stains. My old washer had to run it twice. It takes me no time at all and boom laundrys done. Its small enough to fit thru my washroom door and it has a sleek white metallic style that pretty much goes with any color so I would highly recommend this washer. Its a cheap price, highly efficient and extremely reliable. I bought mine a year ago and it has not broken down or needed repair. I also use it about 5 times a week.

I bought this washer in 2005 at a Sears outlet store. Now keep in mind I live alone so I dont do a lot of laundry, much below the average family, yet here I am 10 years later and somehow this thing is now not cycling through a wash load. Way to go Kenmore -- 10 years, thats it. Now I got to pay for a repair or buy ANOTHER one. Before I had this wash I had an old Kenmore washer that was 25 YEARS OLD and not one issue. I can tell you this, never again will I buy your crap. This is disgraceful and you can bet I will also pass my displeasure with Kenmore on social media every chance I get.

Does large loads, including pillows & comforters. Very quiet machines. Nice variety of colors. Cost of operation & water savings are a plus!! Ive had mine for over 5 years & only had to have a service man out here one time! The machines display a code when theres a problem & you refer to code guidebook/owners manual & follow instructions! Its easy to do & Ive done this one time! These machines can do large heavy loads! Ive done pillows, blankets & comforters! Both of my sons are big guys & I can do 5-7 pairs of pants/jeans in a load! I also do my grandsons baby things on delicate w/ air dry only! These machines are very clean & modern looking! Front loaders (a first for me) & digital led display! At a first glance I think space age & technology are the first things that come to my mind! And they are normal sized! Im very keen on saving money wherever whenever so these machines hit several buttons for me! The lowered water usage means I save on my water bill! The lowered electric usage means I save on my power bill! The ability to select the length of time running also equals savings on electric bill! The reduced amounts of laundry supplies needed to use these machines equals savings on laundry supplies!

After I wash my clothes its clean enough and dries very quick. After I dried it I folded it very easily. Im satisfied with the results of my laundry. No hassles for me and my husband.

Good, reliable machine. It cleans my clothes, and there is the ability to wash differently size loads. I have a choice of water temperatures, activity of washer and length of was washing time. It is a very excellent machine.

You have to babysit this machine. It is frequently out of balance! It took me 4 hrs to do 2 loads of wash. The volume of clothes it handles is great, but it does not seem to clean well. Likely, the big problem is too many bells and whistles. Give me a big machine with simple electronics, or better yet how about the old agitators which may not have held as much, but cleaned the clothes and had hardly any problems.

This is the best washer ever. It runs all day and night without an issue. Even heavy loads seems to get really clean. Dirt comes out and everything is shiny and white. The washer is very reliable and has lasted a long time for me and my family. I suggest anyone who wants this washer to buy one. The gears are really nice. I wish there were other models which were not so white and shiny because it makes everything else look dirty. Please make a duet colored washer. Id pay a little over $100 for this washer again if I wasnt flat broke.

Our machine cleans clothes well, uses little water, runs quiet, and can handle large loads. I especially like the bedding cycle, and the ability to stop the wash cycle to add extra clothing as well as the many other cycle options for different kinds of wash loads.

It always kept my clothes clean and washed them very well. I would go out while my clothes were washing and I never have had trouble with it. Always trust my clothes in there. Had no trouble with it, set the timer and off I go. Never had to worry about your clothes. You will be satisfied and very happy with the wonderful work it does for your clothes. It is such an amazing washer. It will keep your clothes fresh and clean. Never disappointing. You will love it. Very helpful washer and does many wonderful work.

Simple to use and starts and dries quickly. Kenmore one of the best brands on the market. Very efficient and water and electricity conscious. Like the options. Had for years - never had an issue. Never has needed to be fixed. It dries in proper time. Washer is water efficient. Kenmore offers great warranties and doesnt cost a lot extra for the warranty. ust typical white appliances. Looks not important. It needs to wash and dry which it does. If people are talking about the look of my washer they are nuts. You get what you pay for and more. Kenmore is the best brand on the market. Theyre reliable. They will fix it when it needs to be fixed with the warranties.

I bought a Sears Kenmore Washer and purchased an extended warranty. This machine has flooded my basement on at least six occasions, three times causing extensive damage. They have replaced the seal three times and the motor twice. They have forgotten to replace the front cover, leaving wires exposed. I have called, and spoken to dozens of people on what must be every department. The only thing in common, is that they refuse to take responsibility for this defective machine.

Purchased a Kenmore washer from Sears for $399.99 1 year+4 months ago. Service tech. says transmission has gone out. To repair, Sears wants $502.56 + service call of $79; $581.56 to repair a washer they sell new for $399. There are only two of us in this household (me 70 and my wife 68). We dont do a lot of laundry. This machine is a piece of junk. DO NOT buy Kenmore!

Awesome. I can dry a full load of laundry in 20 minutes. The washer is totally reliable. If you need something real fast, you can wash it in 11 minutes and then you can dry it in 5 minutes because it spins out so hard that its almost dry anyway. Very nice looking, white, both front loaders. The insides are nice and shiny, but I do suggest that you keep the washer door open when it is not in use or else your clothes will smell like mold. I bought these about 2 months ago, brand new, with a year warranty and together, they were just under fifteen hundred dollars. I would hope to get ten solid years out of the both of them.

Works great. It fits all your loads in at once! Its efficient and gets the job done with multiple loads, and its energy-efficient. It saves time and money especially with a busy schedule. Its white, front loader, and fits in my pantry space. Not too big. Cost about $900.

The clothes are washed well and the time isnt too long. It isnt too loud. Theres a lot of space for clothes. The machine is reliable and it washes clothes thoroughly. The sound is loud and clear. The washings leave the clothes damp enough to make the dry cycle quick. The appearance is clean and sleek. Its white but the color makes it look clean. It has a grey stripe and the white makes it get dirty easily. The value of it is satisfying and didnt cost much. It is worth the quality of the machine.

Worked well for my big family. I do laundry about three times a week and this washer fulfilled my familys needs. I didnt have many issues. When I did, Sears fixed it. I still have this washer. Very reliable. Never ever had any issues. Ive had other machines that gave us a ton of problems. This machine isnt one. I recommend it for big families like ours. Very pretty or fit in our small laundry room. But it fit big loads of laundry. I would definitely buy more products from this company. I was able to fit my king size comforter in this washer. It was surely worth the money. I had a more expensive washers. That didnt work as well. This one is one of the expensive ones, but its awesome, came with a great warranty.

Elite washing machine 31512 - I have never been upset enough to feel the need to review an appliance before. That being said, I bought this washing machine about 18 months ago for around $1,000 at Sears. Initially I was impressed with the features and the thought of it being efficient, but slowly the washer started to become unbalanced on a regular basis. Then the laundry started to smell sour even after using the cleaning cycle with the proper cleaner. All of this was frustrating but somehow bearable until tonight, when I really needed to get some last minute laundry done and all it will do is display an error code LE. This machine was way too expensive to be so horribly built. I will return to a different brand that has simple electromechanical dials and can properly drain the water so it doesnt make the laundry smell worse than when it went in. I called the Sears helpline and they recommended I sign up for $40 a month protection plan that still required me to pay $60 for them to show up and part costs!? This made no sense and just made me more upset. I will never buy anything from Sears again.

I purchased a Sears Kenmore HE washer 110.2613. I read everything I could get my hand on about HE washers. Here is what I learned from experience and then confirmed by the washer technician. The amount of water the washer uses is regulated by federal energy use standards. So your new HE washers may have lots of choices, dials, and lights but it will only use the maximum allowed by these regulations. Normal, casual, delicate change only slightly by length of time washed and water temp. Might as well have one button. Most HE washers dont have an actual rinse cycle. It sprays the soap off the clothes! The washer will mix hot and cold water so that the water temperature never exceeds the regulated temperature. True hot water wash is impossible.. You better flush out the bleach dispenser or you will find white bleached dots on clothes in another cycle.A WORK AROUND. Use a fraction of the detergent (2 TABLESPOONS). Never use pods or you will find plastic bits stuck on your clothes. Powder detergent never dissolves completely. Wash everything in BULKY BEDDING or WHITES. Thats the only way to get a decent amount of water. DO NOT use fabric softener but ALWAYS choose the fabric softener button. Why? You actually get some rinse water not just spritzing for the rinse. If available, use 2 rinse cycles. If available use Deep Fill. Be prepared to take twice or three times more time to get your laundry done. Its 1.45 hr to wash one load. If your household has very dirty clothes as in construction workers, I suggest you go down to the river and beat them against rocks. You will get better results than with any HE washer.

Kenmore Series 600 - I should have returned the machine after the first day of using it, but now I am stuck it with. It is the worst washing machine Ive ever owned. I feel like sending a bill to Kenmore for all the clothes this thing has ruined. It does not wash clothes. It sprinkles water on them and takes over an hour for one load to finish. No matter what setting I put it on, it does not get the clothes wet at all. My clothes now stink, my sheets are filthy, and everything is wrinkled. I am going to take this thing to the dump and go back to the laundromat.

It was big, and fit what I would call huge loads. It had a super fast cycle system unlike a lot of others that take for what seems like forever and my clothes came out more clean than with my previous ones. It would fit more than what I needed into it. When I would do a load of laundry it would actually be 2 normal loads, my normal loads. And to my surprise they came out more clean than I would have expected them too. I am in love with them. They arent the newest looking with the clear lid or anything but it definitely gets the job done. Laundry is laundry. As long as the equipment does its job appearance shouldnt matter. Its well worth it in all truthfulness. I would buy it a thousand times over before Id go invest in one of the fancy ones. These are exactly what I needed.

It fit a lot of clothes. Got everything clean on the first round. Helps fight against stains. Use the quick run cycle and it takes 15 mins to finish a load - great timing in my book for a family thats very busy. A little bulky but not too bad. Had it in a small bathroom in a corner - was not in the way just behind the door.

It was on sale for an amazing price. Ive had it for a few years now still works the same after a few years. Its very easy to clean. I can do a whole weeks worth of my clothes in it. It looks amazing in my laundry room. It is stainless steel. I would definitely recommend it. I love stainless steel because it looks elegant.

Cleans clothes effectively. Has enough settings to get the job done and is a reliable machine. Clothes come out smelling wonderful and nothing has ever been ruined while going through the wash. Would recommend! I only had one problem with this machine in the time that I had it and it was easily fixable. It is a very reliable machine and does the job effectively. I have never had any regrets from buying it. There are more attractive models on the market but this is not unattractive by any means. It is simple in appearance and blends in well with any laundry room theme. I am happy with the value of this machine and the price I paid for it. I have gotten my moneys worth and it has performed well throughout the time I have had it.

It works great, dont make loud noise. It fits very well into the kitchen and beeps when it stops. When I first saw it I knew it would be a good washer for me. Doesnt have to pack a lot of clothes in the wash to wash my clothes. I can even put 3 or 4 comforter in the washer and clean my clothes. I can use gain washing machine and bounce to dry my clothes and leave a great smell in the clothes. I set up the dial according to the load of clothes that Im going to wash. Good for washing my clothes and leave the clothes clean and dont have to worry about washing. I wash about 7 to 8 load a week.

Purchased top load washing machine (Kenmore Elite Washing Machine) with glass top lid Oct 30, 2018. Exploded April 6... then again one week after it was fixed... April 25... Still waiting on a replacement 2 weeks later. Sears warranty tell us they never heard of this, judging by item being back ordered and multiple other reviews I’ve read THIS IS A PROBLEM!!! BUYER BEWARE! MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE!!!

Cleans well with all types of cycles and clothing. There is a regular, delicate, permanent press cycle. There are also different size loads such as small, med, large, and super large. Works well at all times. The cycles, water level, all the different settings are very dependable. They work accurately and effectively. It is an older model but has the basic dials and settings. It is white in color which is fine with me as I keep in the garage so no one really sees it. This is not an expensive model so that I feel it is a great value. It is basic in washers without a whole lot of fancy cycles and dials.

Kenmore Elite Washer delivered in 8/2013. From day one it would stop mid cycle. Oct. 2014 got so fed up babysitting it to make sure it finished that I called for repair. Person said it was a common problem. Tightened wash plate and then sold me a Protection agreement. He said call whenever happens again. Feb 2015, they came out again for same problem. He said I had to ensure I only put like clothes together and that really it isnt a washer for just two people! He also decided to adjust one leg on the washer as he thought that may be an issue also.For the past two weeks, it has started not finishing cycles again, even though I have made sure I only wash like products together, ie jean only, towels only, sheets only, etc. Painful when there are only two of us. After babying this machine all day yesterday, I ran the clean washer cycle. It took three starts and stops. I then tried to do a drain spin to at least get the water out.This morning, I called the repair number for them to come out. This is now the third time on this machine. They are dispatching tech by end of week. 5 days for it to sit with water in it. She also told me to call the Protection Dept. to see if anything they can do. So in the meantime, I have a washer sitting here with water in it. She said to unplug it, let it sit for a minimum of 40 seconds and then try the drain spin again (which I did try twice last night). I will give it a try while I wait for the PA dept. to pick up as they are very busy, according to the recording.

This is for a “600 series” washer. For some reason, I search for that, and this is what I get. My 600 series HE washer is, first of all, highly electronic. All its controls are electronic in nature, and took some getting used to. For months, I was never quite sure how to get it to do what I wanted it to do. What I had to do was a big disappointment.HE means “high efficiency.” The washer apparently weighs what you put in it, then adds a very minimal amount of water to do the wash. The lid locks when underway, so it’s hard to see, but I have stopped it mid-cycle only to discover only about 1” of water in the tub! That was barely enough to wet, and not enough even to cover them! No wonder my clothes came out with an obvious dirty residue. So much for high efficiency!No, in order to get my clothes clean, I have to run every cycle on “deep fill” and “double rinse,” and that means always using the “heavy duty” cycle. Like those “high efficiency,” low volume toilets which need to be flushed 4 times, what we have to do to get a wash that is cleaner than it went in eliminates any and all efficiency! This washer, if you want clean clothes, probably uses twice as much water, twice as much energy and takes twice as long as a regular, non-HE washer! If I had a choice, I would never have bought this washer (there is not much to choose from), at least not without spending 2X+ as much. I would certainly never buy one of these again.

This has been the most dependable washer Ive owned in quite awhile. Its just too sad that Kenmore appliances are not very popular since Sears has left the retail world. I was always a Sears/Kenmore customer for all of my major appliances purchases.

I have a Kenmore energy star, he washer, it is very efficient, reliable and one of the best washers I have ever owned. This wash machine is very easy to operate, with multiple settings. I am very happy with the extra large capacity size & clothes are always spun well. Also love the fact that it detects size/weight of wash & determines length of wash cycle.

The washer was not the best that I have ever used. It did not clean cups or bowls well and after a year it started leaking. I was satisfied until the leaks started. Then I was very unhappy. I live in a three person household and it was fine. I would not recommend this for a big family. Small households the size is fine though. It was kind of ugly but then again so was my whole kitchen. It got dirty easily and was terrible display. I kind of hated it a lot. The washer was overpriced, undersized, and ugly as sin.

Great product that works extremely well and is very quiet. Very energy efficient and allows me to do large loads without any problems. As far as reliability this machine is perfect. It can handle very large loads and is very quiet while running and it can handle all of the abuse of teenagers using it to do their own clothes without supervision. The controls are very high tech looking but very easy to navigate and use. This is an extremely great and affordable value for this machine. It works just as well as the top end machines but you do not have to pay an arm and leg for it.

Bought a front loader and clothes smelled awful if not dried for 2 cycles. Also the front loaders get mildewy and are hard to keep clean. Once I realized to keep door open when not in use and to wash smaller loads it worked fine.

I grew up in a family that always used Kenmore appliances so my owning them is just natural. The Kenmore name carries the value. And people I talk to and with feel that Kenmore is a workhorse that makes it a good value. I have kids and animals so laundry is a daily chore. I like that I can wash jeans, towels, blankets and comforters and they come out clean and unharmed. Theres too many times I have used washers that dont always clean consistently but this is one of the best and most reliable. It is very nice looking, too. I have a laundry closet right off my kitchen and it fits in well with my other appliances when the closet doors are open. The dials are sleek looking and very easy to use.

I purchased the Kenmore Automatic Washer model 796.3162#31# in 2016, and I had to have it replaced within 3 weeks of delivery. The water would not drain out of the machine. The machine I now have rips my husbands t-shirts. I have pictures to prove their destruction. I have had 2 different servicemen come out and it still occurs. What I have just discovered is there is a tiny barely noticeable metal wire that sets up and the clothes are getting caught on that wire. All of that money was spent on a washer that destroys my husbands shirts. I hope they are able to fix this issue.

This Kenmore pair are now made by LG. They are horrible. They open and close the water inlet rapidly like a bang, bang, bang. They have ruined the plumbing pipes. This is not only my washer, but my brothers, too. After only 3 years, the gears squeak and the motor whines. They were very expensive, but when we move into our new home next month, we will leave them behind and just let the new owners have them.

Sears was having a no interest promo on appliances & I desperately needed a new washer. Salesman talked me into the Series 500 (Model 25132) claiming it was the best & extremely energy efficient. Since my purchaser, my clothes always come out with soap stains, tangled in 1 huge heap and not to mention, still dirty. I only use recommended detergent, in recommended doses, load as instructed in the manual... But same story every time. After dealing with this for about a year, Ive learned to automatically redistribute after every wash, then wash again and then re-rinse EVERY SINGLE LOAD. And I guess its energy efficient because it uses NO WATER. It merely dampens the clothes. And there is no option to add water.I have never written a complaint about any product I have ever purchased but this truly is a horrible product & I regret buying it every time I do laundry. And to top it off, the salesman at Sears, after saying that this machine was eligible for no interest (as it was ONE DOLLAR less than their minimum), casually told me - after he processed the transaction - that it was not. I asked to please check with a manager, who he called, and the manager, without even allowing me to speak, dismissed me & my purchase and walked away. Never. Again. I realize there is nothing that can be done at this point - I just thought this might help someone else avoid this disaster of a product.

Kenmore brand is the main appliance sold by Sears. It has been around for 40 or 50 years by now. It is made with good quality parts and therefore highly unlikely that something will go bad or wrong with the appliance no matter what kind of appliance you are purchasing. I have had washing machines by Kenmore in the past and would recommend them to anyone!

I found this washer great! It cleaned all of my clothes great and has lasted me over 5 years now. I would recommend this to my close friends. Sadly they dont have a stainless steel model. This washer is very reliable. Its so reliable it has lasted me a long time, more than five years which is just very crazy. It still looks great like factory new! I have the white model which is very nice looking but I would like a stainless steel version but for now Im happy. I wish it could be a bit cheaper but in the long run I found it very valuable to me so the extra cost was just nothing.

I think that the washer is a very good one even compared to the others on the market. It has good speed and quality and is not difficult to set up. I think that it is a very reliable washer. It has never broke on us and weve had it for 3 years. It has never malfunctioned or slowed down or overflowed etc. I would definitely recommend it to others. Its sleek and futuristic and could match in any house. Its a nice size and doesnt take up all the room. I think its the perfect washer and would buy it again. Its the perfect washer for me. I would def recommend it to mothers. Although youre paying a little extra its worth the price because of quality and reliability.

These are quality built machine that last for years and clean very well. Even the simplest of the machines do a very good job of getting your clothes clean. These machines are very reliable and in the rare occasion that something does break, the parts are easy to find. They have been around for years and are very reliable. Its good for the simplest loads up to the dirtiest ones. Machines are quiet and work very well. Durable. I would recommend.

I bought the Kenmore front loader washer just over three years ago. During the first year, it has nothing but problems with it. I had the warranty so Sears came to my house several times to fix it. They said I was using too much soap. I was not; I was using Wisk HE soap and only using the recommended dosage (usually doing less). They ended up replacing the washer after months of complaining and battling. They made it sound so easy when you buy the warranty that they will back their product 100%. It was a fight to get them to do what they were supposed to. With the new washer, the warranty only transferred to the new washer so it was only covered for the remainder of the warranty.Now this one is having issues and the warranty is up. Sears makes such crappy front loading washing machines and should not be able to sell them. How is it that I have had two different machines in just over three years and they have both failed me?

Kenmore Laundry Center Model 417-61712510: Purchased this lemon last year with extended warranty. It has worked less than it has not worked and Ive had numerous technicians sent out and paid for an electrician to verify it is not my electrical. The machine starts and stops and locks my clothes inside in water and detergent. No amount of resetting breakers can get it to work, but I sense there is an internal reset because whenever the tech comes out he opens the metal flap to gain access and does something and then resets the breakers and it works again. It may work for one wash and then acts up and stops again. It will beep within 5 minutes of starting unit. This has been going on since 12/2016, approximately six months after purchase to this date of 8/4/2017. So here I am waiting two weeks for a repairman to come and unlock it while my clothes are in the machine. This has been a nightmare. The amount of service calls has been mind blowing. Always an explanation why it cannot be replaced... read your fine print. Ive spent more time this year doing my laundry at a laundromat than at home. This unit was purchased May 26, 2016 with extended warranty. Hope no one else will purchase this unit.

This washer does a wonderful job cleaning your clothes. It is handy. The clean cycle does everything evenly and swell. My clothes have never looked better. The washer is quiet which is nice. You can sleep while you have a load in. The performance of this machine is extremely well. I would and have recommend/ recommended this washer to many, many people. It is a great value. Well worth the money. Kenmore is a great brand and they should be proud. This washer fit all of my needs which were a great clean, leaves my clothes feeling fresh. It is the best machine I have used in a really long time. The appearance of this Kenmore Washing Machine is very sleek and modern. It is a great design that can fit in anywhere. I personally love the clean appearance. It makes me feel fancy. You get what you pay for, and so much more. Trust me.

Have found faster cycles with some other brands, but overall happy!! Kenmore is a reliable brand and great otherwise. :) I like any front load washer, but there should be a better airing out option. I usually pack clothes and towels in to my washing machines, this fits large loads and fits all of my washing needs. I would prefer for the washer to drain and dry without needing to prop the door open. Looks great and fits in any laundry room or laundry area of a home. Be sure to prop door open, detergent door as well... Will get musty otherwise. Kenmore value is always prevalent as the quality is usually very high. All parts have worked well and havent had any issue with the value of the product.

Our Kenmore Elite Dishwasher purchased from Sears is less than 3 years old. Since the very beginning the door was very hard to open putting significant pressure on the flimsy plastic panel above the latch. It started to crack a year ago so we were very careful. However this week the plastic panel and latch just crumbled in our hands. Use of the machine is fairly low since there are only two people in the household. Seems unreasonable to pay for repair given such poor design.

It does not take long to clean what I need to clean. It does not make a lot of noise and is easy to use. I love it. When I bought I was very excited and I most dependently would not buy another washer for a good, good twenty years. It is very, very reliable. I can really count on it to wash every item correctly and in a timely manner every single time I use it. I would never use any brand but this one. It is very, very cute and I love it in my kitchen. It is just so pretty and I really love it. Everyone should buy this washer. It is perfect or anybody house. Washers are really pricey any way so the price I payed was amazing. I even got sweet discount. You really get a lot for your money. You will love it.
