Air Conditioner Error Codes
CODE: 16
PROBLEM: System Communications Failure
FIX: Communication with User Interface lost. Check wiring to UI, indoor and outdoor units
CODE: 25
PROBLEM: Invalid Model Plug
FIX: Control does not detect a model plug or detects an invalid model plug. Unit will not operate without correct model plug
CODE: 31
PROBLEM: High Pressure Switch Open
FIX: High – pressure switch trip. Check refrigerant charge, outdoor fan operating and coils for airflow restrictions
CODE: 32
PROBLEM: Low Pressure Switch Open
FIX: Low – pressure switch trip. Check refrigerant charge and indoor air flow.
CODE: 45
PROBLEM: Control Fault
FIX: Outdoor unit control board has failed. Control board needs to be replaced.
CODE: 46
PROBLEM: Brown Out (230v)
FIX: Line voltage < 187v for at least 4 seconds.
CODE: 47
PROBLEM: No 230v at Unit Measured at L1 and L2 on circuit board
FIX: There is no 230v at the contactor when indoor unit is powered and cooling/heating demand exists.
CODE: 53
PROBLEM: Outdoor Air Temp Sensor Fault
FIX: Outdoor air sensor not reading or out of range.
CODE: 55
PROBLEM: Outdoor Coil Sensor Fault
FIX: Coil sensor not reading or out of range. Ohm out sensor and check wiring.
CODE: 56
PROBLEM: Thermistors out of range
FIX: Improper relationship between coil sensor and outdoor air sensor. Ohm out sensor and check wiring.
CODE: 71
PROBLEM: Low Stage Thermal Cut out
FIX: Compressor operation detected then disappears while low stage demand exists. Possible causes are internal compressor overload trip or start relay and capacitor held in circuit too long
CODE: 72
PROBLEM: High Stage Thermal Cut out
FIX: Compressor operation detected then disappears while low stage demand exists. Possible causes are internal compressor overload trip or start relay and capacitor held in circuit too long
CODE: 73
PROBLEM: Contactor Shorted
FIX: Compressor voltage sensed when no demand for compressor operation exists. Contactor may be stuck closed or there is a wiring error
CODE: 74
PROBLEM: No 230v at Compressor
FIX: Compressor voltage not sensed when compressor should be starting. Contactor may be stuck open or there is a wiring error
CODE: 75
PROBLEM: Low Stage Did Not Start
FIX: Specified start voltage at VR terminal was not achieved in low stage. Start relay was de-energized after 1 second
CODE: 76
PROBLEM: Low Stage Did Not Start 3 times
FIX: For 3 consecutive low stage starts, the specified start voltage at VR terminal was not achieved and start relay was de-energized. Low stage locked out for 30 minutes.
CODE: 77
PROBLEM: High Stage Did Not Start
FIX: Specified start voltage at VS terminal was not achieved in high stage. Start relay was de-energized after 1 second
CODE: 78
PROBLEM: High Stage Did Not Start 3 times
FIX: For 3 consecutive high stage starts, the specified start voltage at VS terminal was not achieved and start relay was de-energized. High stage locked out for 30 minutes
CODE: 81
PROBLEM: Low Stage Thermal Lockout
FIX: Thermal cutout occurs in three consecutive low/high stage cycles. Low stage locked out 4 hours or until 24v power recycled

Heat Pump Error Codes
Bryant heat pumps utilize a variety of error codes to indicate potential issues or malfunctions. If you encounter an error code, it's recommended to refer to the user manual or contact a qualified HVAC technician for assistance.
Here are some common troubleshooting steps you can take for heat pump issues:
Power cycle: Turn off the power to the heat pump and wait for a few minutes before turning it back on. Sometimes, a simple reset can resolve minor issues.
Check the thermostat: Make sure the thermostat is set to the desired temperature and operating mode (heating or cooling). Ensure that the batteries, if applicable, are not depleted.
Clean or replace air filters: Dirty or clogged air filters can restrict airflow and cause performance issues. Clean or replace the filters according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Inspect the outdoor unit: Check the outdoor unit for any visible signs of damage or obstructions, such as debris, ice buildup, or snow. Clear away any blockages carefully.
Check circuit breakers and fuses: Verify that the circuit breaker for the heat pump is not tripped and that the fuses are intact. Reset or replace them if necessary.
Verify the airflow: Ensure that all supply and return air vents are open and unobstructed. Blocked vents can affect the system's performance.
Check refrigerant levels: Low refrigerant levels can indicate a leak in the system. If you suspect a refrigerant issue, contact a professional HVAC technician for assistance.
Remember, these are general troubleshooting tips, and specific error codes may require different actions. For precise guidance and assistance with Bryant heat pump error codes, consult the user manual or reach out to an authorized Bryant service provider.

My new AC unit is much more efficient than my old unit. I'm using my air more often and using less electricity.
Totally satisfied with new system Replaced old Bryant system that only lasted 15 years Hopefully, we will have better luck with this one.
I am so pleased with this AC system. It is to much more efficient then my old one and my AC bills have really gone done.
Our trusted HVAC expert recommended this product based on what we needed, price, features, noise, efficiency, reliability and cost to operate.
Appears to be very well constructed units. I had a total of three units installed the same day. My electric usage has dropped since installation. Will be able to tell more next summer with the Texas heat.
Bryant offers a lot of furnace options for buyers, whether it's something higher end, or something more economical. Most models are ENERGY STAR certified so you can be confident in an energy efficient unit that will save on your heating bills. Bryant's forced air furnaces also benefit from many impressive and convenient features.
This unit works great. Replaced a 22 year old 4 ton unit. Much quieter unit but cools and conditions perfectly. Commonwealth Climate Solutions in Lexington, Ky did the work and did a tremendous job. I highly recommend them.
Finally ready for winter with a dependable and efficient furnace.
Initially thought wasn’t working because so quiet but obviously with quick heating response it was!!
New furnace fan is quiet and dispenses heat evenly throughout the house.
