French door refrigerator - Purchased in 2016. After a year the ice maker leaked and the build up prevented the door from closing. Bought from Gerhards in Glenside. Paid for 5 year warranty. The mechanic came out reattached water tube. This was October 2017. Ice maker froze again June 2018. Mechanic reattached hose and realigned. June 2018, the ice maker is over filling and leaking into the ice tray. The ice maker has problems.

We purchased a brand new house in March but the oven has been having issues. The technicians came to our house for several times to replace the motherboard then the wirings. Now we are having issue again on the temperature control. We are asking for replacement the last time we called customer service last month due to several problems arising with the brand new oven for four months but they refused. Our oven is rarely used. We only used it for heating pizza. It is just frustrating because we have all these issues/problems with the brand new oven which was rarely used. There wouldnt be any issues like these if they have thorough quality control. They kept on telling us that they will not replace it because it is still repairable but we are not technicians. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING APPLIANCES ESPECIALLY FRIGIDAIRE/ELECTROLUX.

This side-by-side with ice maker is great. I love it and so far, we have not had any problems with it after having it for about 13 years. It was purchased at a good price. The ice maker has cubes and crushed which my family likes a lot.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on 5/31/14 (approximately 6 months ago) from Lowes. The refrigerator portion stopped cooling. I contacted the 1-800 number and I was instructed by recording to enter my zip code. I entered my zip code and was told by the same recording that they had no service providers in my area and I would have to call a 706 area code number. I dont live in the boonies. I live in Scottsdale, which is a suburb of Phoenix, AZ. I called the 706 number and had to wait on hold for 30 minutes before the call was answered. I was told that they dont have any service providers where I live (once again not in the boonies, right next to Phoenix). They would have someone call my by Monday (I called them on Wednesday) and would schedule a service call then. Who knows how long from Monday it will take them to come out. When I explained that time was of the essence due to the fact that I store insulin in my refrigerator, it was suggested that I purchase a industrial refrigerator. I suggested that Frigidaire manufacture a refrigerator that last longer than 6 months. I was then asked to take a survey. REALLY????

I bought a new Frigidaire dishwasher model FFCD2413UW at Lowes. Biggest mistake ever. Problem one, there is no mention anywhere about the fact that you must buy additional parts to install your dishwasher. This caused two 70 mile round trips. Problem two, The door on this dishwasher has no latch. With no latch to click to open it you must employ brute strength to open it.Problem 3, once you get this piece of junk open the door wont stay open. The problems here are numerous but the most aggravating is that when you open the door to load the dishwasher and pull the bottom rack out, the door starts shutting on its own sliding the rack back into the dishwasher. I have been employing a brick to hold the door down while I load the dishwasher. Problem 4, I thought my previous dishwasher was loud. This dishwasher drowns out every other noise by a mile. We have been setting it to come on later, it only has one setting for this, 4 hours. So now around 2 am the entire family meets in the kitchen to find out what the racket is about.

Im selling my house and got an offer, the buyers inspector finds my Frigidaire stove has a recall, havent been fixed. And this fixing was put in that 1 week offer as a condition. When I call Frigidaire, they tell me to post the parts and later arrange the service, and 24 hours later thered be an automatic email send to me. I told buyers side that we will provide the email for them to delete the condition. But several days later I havent got this email. I called back but they said they dispatch the recall request to a service company but failed to tell me, and no email at all. Why not tell me? I told you its an important email for me. Because its a mistake! Im not happy so I want to complain. But the lady just said, If you dont have other things to help hope you have a good day, and hang up the phone! Its worst customer service I ever have!

BUYER BEWARE! In March of 2015 I purchased all new Frigidaire smudge proof appliances, spending almost $6,000.00. I am not impressed at all. Right off the bat, I had an issue with the dishwasher. It was not drying the dishes, I had to manually dry the dishes as I put them away. After several days, I knew something was wrong, so I contacted Lowes (where I purchased them) and they made an appointment for a Frigidaire service call. The gentleman that came out to check it out, was a little surprised to see there was no fan or blower located in the dishwasher which normally dries the dishes, so he contacted Frigidaire for repairs.Needless to say, I was told by the Frigidaire folks that The dishwasher was working the way that it was meant to. With the new technology no blower or fan is needed. What you need to do is after the cycle runs, (which takes about 126 mins or so on a normal cycle) you must open the door and let the hot steam out so the dishes can dry. REALLY??? LOL, I run my dishwasher at night while sleeping, if they think Im going to get up at 2 in the morning to open the dishwasher door so the dishes can dry they are nuts. If this is Frigidaires new technology, I suggest they go back to the old way. (Not happy.)Next is the Refrigerator. The Ice maker is horrible. You can stand there for several minutes and IF youre lucky an small ice cube will dispense into the glass. By the time you get an entire glass of ice, its already melting in the glass. And forget it if you need a lot of ice (ex: in an ice tea maker) it does not make enough ice for that. (Not happy.)Lastly is the Range. After 2 weeks, which I used it 3 times I noticed little bubbles started to appear on the smooth top range. At first I thought it was dirty so I used the little pad and the bottle of cleaner that came with the Range, but to my dismay I realized the smooth top is bubbling, so again I contacted Frigidaire and they sent someone out for a service call. The gentleman looked at it and took photos to send in for review. After 3 weeks, when I had not heard anything I contacted Frigidaire. I was told that some how I had damaged the top and they would replace the top, but I would have to pay almost $200.00 for the part!!! Wait a minute, I had only used it 3 times, and did not scrap it or spill over on it or anything, how could I have damaged it??? First of all I had a Whirlpool smooth top range for 20 yrs, and never did the top bubble like this, and YES, I did spill things on that from time to time. So I guess this means that Frigidaire ranges are not able to handle any normal spills! (Not happy.) The only good thing that I can say about this product, is the smudge proof coating, yes that is a nice feature. Will I ever buy another Frigidaire product - ABSOLUTELY NOT! Will I ever recommend a Frigidaire product - ABSOLUTELY NOT!

I purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher FRGallery-FGID2466QF serial #TH62331408 on September 5, 2016 by August 2017 it was leaking. Upon calling Lowes regarding the leak, I first had problems with the 1st company they were sending who was rude to both me and the Lowes representative who wouldnt send All Valley Appliance to my home due to their rudeness (filed a complaint with Lowes Corporate office regarding that) and they then sent Fosters Appliance who came took pictures. The tech found that the machine was leaking from the top of the tube from the seam. Clearly a defective product. The tech apparently listed it as physical damage so Lowes will not stand by the product they sold me. I spent over $400 for this machine to last 1 year. How is this fair to the consumer. I had the dishwasher installed and it worked fine for 1 year only. There was no physical damage. I have asked for a second opinion and wont get it until Nov. 6, 2017 which pushes the machine completely out of warranty. I see from the consumer reports that FRIGIDAIRE is not the product to buy and Lowes is not the company I want to deal with ever again. Why is it that the consumer must incur additional costs for extended warranty when we are already being ripped off. DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE this is the second dishwasher that I purchased and it started leaking. The first was older so I just assumed it was time to get another. My mistake is believing it was age and not the manufacturer.

Bought a Frigidaire fridge from Lowes. Stopped working after 6 weeks. Talked to Lowes about getting it looked at. They told me I had to go through Frigidaire. Spoke with them, they were extremely rude right off the bat. They also changed the appointment date on me twice without me knowing. At this point I just worked on the fridge myself and got it to work. Called to cancel appointment very politely and yet again the same woman on the phone was one of the rudest people Ive ever spoken with, unprovoked. Avoiding business with this company going further.

When the original light bulb in the refrigerated section of my Frigidaire side-by-side burnt out, I really didnt think it was so unusual. Ill just purchase a new bulb and replace it. This should be simple. Well, not so simple. Upon attempting to remove the bulb, it would not turn. I was afraid to apply excessive force since I didnt want to break it off in the socket. I couldnt understand why I was having so much difficulty removing a light bulb. So I poked my head in the refrigerator to get a closer look. I was amazed and concerned at what I saw. The bulb had burned the plastic lining above it. The bulb was stuck to the top of the liner. After several more attempts to remove the bulb, I finally succeeded. There is a considerable amount of damage to the liner, including a small hole in the middle of the egg size crater that was created by the hot light bulb. Im not only concerned that this has compromised the cooling capacity of my refrigerator. But that it could be a potential fire hazard. Still, I continue, with increasing doubt, to replace light bulbs with increasing frequency. I just installed the fourth bulb. Please help! Am I and my family in any immediate danger from this defective product?

We purchased a Frigidaire kitchen package brand new from Menards. Frigidaire warranty doesnt cover anything purchased after the first year. Right out of the box we had a crack in our first dishwasher but didnt notice until we ran a few loads and it leaked water all over our flooring and sub flooring. Frigidaire did ship us a new dishwasher, but we had to pay for the additional installation charge. Fast forward a year and the inside glass on our oven door exploded for no apparent reason. We were baking potatoes in the oven when the inside glass exploded. We bake maybe once a month. This oven has barely been used when this happened. Appliance repair companies are quoting $300-$400 for this repair. Two of our four appliances failed in under 2 years. Very unsatisfied. The lady over the phone had the nerve to tell me thats what extended warranties are for. She was rude and condescending. Im definitely never buying frigidaire again.

I purchased this refrigerator new about a year and a half ago. Within the first month, the entire refrigerator had to be replaced. Since then, both the upper and lower ice makers have been replaced and worked on multiple times. The refrigerator is now out of warranty. Since the warranty ran out, the ice maker has had to be worked on twice. I have now had to purchase an extended warranty to pay for parts and labor that should be covered under warranty since the problems began right after the purchase. I should NOT have had all these problems within this short time frame since purchase. I have called Frigidaire about 8 times in 4 days, and I still have not had a repairman to my house to fix the problem. To me, this is unacceptable. I am very disappointed, and I will never purchase a Frigidaire product again. Dealing with customer service has been a waste of everyones time!

On Christmas morning I turned our Frigidaire range on to cook our Christmas turkey. Our stove is only 2.5 years old. There was a loud pop and I turned to see flames coming from the back of the stove licking at the wall. My husband quickly pulled the range away from the wall as I shut the stove down. The flames subsided but thick black smoke was still coming from the back panel. Never will I buy a Frigidaire appliance again. We could have lost our home on Christmas morning if we hadnt been in the kitchen. Cooking a turkey for a group of guests on an outdoor grill in 40 degree weather is miserable. Thank you Frigidaire for your junk... Your Frigidaire dishwasher starts by itself so it is unplugged... Your Frigidaire microwave with vent is worthless. We are replacing these new Frigidaire products one at a time for our familys safety.

I bought all Frigidaire Gallery appliances for my kitchen. Since then my refrigerator has broken at least 4. 1st was ice maker $150 then the whole motherboard $350. Now its the water inlet valve $150 and of course all this happens after the 1st year when the warranty expires. So the way I see it I paid for a new fridge in repair. Also bottom freezer door doesnt close right and is chipping away. Stay away from the P.O.S company. I contacted them to see about recalls and such all the recalls are for the model before it. This model has the same problems but no recalls. That is the biggest scheme. Stay away from this junk box.

Why 1 star? The fridge is actually quite nice and I would usually give it a
Why 1 star? The fridge is actually quite nice and I would usually give it a high score… So why 1 star? Because we were one of the unlucky ones that received a unit that didn’t work and the customer service to fix this problem was atrocious. I understand companies cannot achieve 100% perfection on their products leaving the factory. I understand things like this happen. I do not understand what happened next on how it was handled. Summary if you don’t want the long read: Bought brand new fridge, didn’t work…We didn’t have a fridge/freezer from September 3rd until August 8th 2021. Lost hundreds of dollars in groceries and to call customer service took over an hour every time except once.Long version… Here is the timeline of events that I recall to the best of my memory: From day one on August 20th, we noticed something funny. The fridge was freezing some things and the freezer collected frost easy. Things were still working so we were questioning if the fridge just wasn’t as good as the reviews… or do we need to put a ticket in? Made sure all the vents were free like the manual said etc… It did work, but not as well as the dying 12 year old fridge we had hauled away when the new one arrived.September 3rd: Freezer died completely. This was my first time trying to reach Frigidaire. No customer service on weekends and lucky us this was a long weekend. So, all weekend we got to listen to an alarm on the fridge constantly saying the freezer temp was too high. Ding Ding Ding…Repeat! UGH. September 6th – Got through to Frigidaire on the phone after 1 hour 5 minutes on hold listening to elevator music and advertisements about buying water filters on their web store. OMG SHOOT ME. They could not set up a repair time yet as they had to put the ticket in. They eventually set it up and called us back a couple of days later with the time the repair guy could make it out… and the soonest they could send out a repair person was the week of September 20th. YEA 2 weeks without a freezer and listening to a constant alarm about the freezer being too high a temp!!! Well at least we had a fridge.September 20th – Repair guy looked at it and said the fan and circuit board was not working. He checked availability of the parts and that was going to be NOV 1st. Night of the 20th the Ice Maker section up in the fridge section stopped working… The melted ice flooded everything. Luckily, we saw it and prevented water damage to our hardwood floor.September 21st – the fridge portion of the fridge stopped working completely. Repair guy came right out and looked at that problem and determined there was a problem internally that something wasn’t hooked up right at the factory and the fridge was completely unserviceable and needed a complete replacement. We then went about trying to give food away to friends and such as we had a stocked fridge… Ultimately, we estimate over $300 worth of grocery losses due to the fridge not working. On the bright side we could unplug the fridge and not have to listen to the alarm anymore…On the brighter side we did not have to wait until NOV 1st for freezer parts because the fridge was deemed unserviceable… So in a way we were lucky…Maybe? Kinda?Called Frigidaire again… 45-minute wait and when I got on there was an echo on the line… After about a minute the person said she couldn’t hear me anymore and told me to call back… 1 hour 12 minutes later with the same great music and ads I got through again… They have to put a ticket into the back office which takes 5-10 business days… Translation = 2 weeks in real time. As I complained about this and asked to be patched to someone in the back office the person said something I missed and hung up on me. I actually waited for the stupid questionnaire after the call and gave the lowest rating to the phone agent.Seriously??? It takes 2 weeks for the back office to look at the notes that their repair guy submitted. Well, hey… 2 more weeks without a fridge. I’m sure if you are reading this you agree 2 weeks without a fridge is totally ok. I mean… who really uses a fridge on a daily basis anyways? Here is an idea for Frigidaire… pay OT to your staff to catch up on 5 days of work. That way the wait time is only zero to 5 days instead of 5 to 10 business days.I was told to call October 5th if I had not heard back… So on October 5th I called back… 1 hour 31 minutes a joyful elevator music and advertisements about their webstore later a friendly lady answered the phone. I could hear some kids in the background and I have absolutely NO problem with that… She was nice and handled an angry caller (me) very well. YO Frigidaire!!! Hire more stay-at-home moms! It will shorten customers wait times and she got the job done…As well it will give a job to someone that has a very restricted schedule. Dust off your wallets and hire more customer service reps! The lady told me it was approved on September 30th and the approval was sent to Bad Boys (the dealer we bought from)… Yeah nobody told us. She called bad boys and gave me the reference number. I am still not sure why Bad Boys didn’t call me on September 30th… You know 5 extra days without a fridge is no big deal. Kids can have another bowl of dry cereal. This next part is not due to Frigidaire, but they should understand if a dealer gets a call on September 30th they are not necessarily delivering the new fridge that day. So, I called Bad Boys after I got off the phone with Frigidaire. They did not have an answer for me or a reason why they did not have an answer for me… but they would get back to me in the next couple of days to arrange a delivery time. 2 more days without a fridge… This is where one starts to contemplate the little things in life… Like “Is black coffee any good???”… “Just because it says refrigerate after opening does it really mean it?”… Did I mention we bought Bad Boys “Gold Warranty” to make sure we were covered well and wouldn’t have to worry about being without a fridge?October 8th – New replacement fridge arrived. I have no idea how we could have avoided this debacle. We researched fridges and the Gallery one we bought had great reviews. I guess I would probably give it a good review if it worked well and I had no problems. The actual layout of the fridge and organization is really nice. Nice features… Lots of positive things that could be said on that… But imagine yourself buying an expensive new fridge and then from September 3rd through October 8th you didn’t have a fridge/freezer and you lost hundreds in food. What review rating would you give? All and all you will be happy with the fridge IF nothing goes wrong with it.

Ever since we got this top of the line fridge new, Eve noticed that the ice maker is nearly useless. If you use ice then be prepared to constantly turn on the quick freeze option, which really doesnt help either, but at least you get some ice. Now though to make matters worse, the ice hopper has broken, the ice maker drips water out of the front door and spews water all over our floor every time we open the door. The ice turns into gigantic chunks, the width of the entire hopper, by melting together- I cant even open the door without trying to break the chunks by running the ice maker, and risking burning up the motor. So I ordered a replacement unit, but everyone must be having this issue because theres a nationwide backorder. Last time I buy this brand, it sure looks nice, but only if you dont need an ice maker.

2 years ago we purchased 3 Frigidaire appliances, their French doors fridge model FPHB2899PF2, their gas slide in range and their dishwasher all in the Professional series. At the one year mark the dishwasher broke down and required replacement parts that Electrolux was aware of. The oven racks (3) are all approximately 1/4 inch too small. So when you put almost any weight on them they fall to the bottom of the oven. Best yet just shy of the 2 year mark the door ice maker died. We called Electrolux service who directed us to our local repair company who arrived at our house and spent 4 minutes and $100 to tell us that this particular Frigidaire fridge was garbage and that he has repaired or tried to many in his area. He told us ours was non-repairable. Long story short we daughter for numerous emails and calls with Electrolux to only end up with a partial credit towards a new purchase which would cover approximately 35% of the replacement cost. At this point we gave up. We did however reach out to Leons Furniture where we purchased the group only to be totally ignored! Needless to say we spend all of our efforts spreading our message.

My $2,400 fridge stopped cooling after only 5 months. I had to call a 3rd party warranty service just to get ahold of Fridigaire! They were closed 2 days after Christmas and wouldnt answer the phones. After the 3rd day I was on hold for 5-10 minutes and would be hung up on due to high volume of calls. After hours of waiting I finally got through. They did send a local technician but he is at the mercy of Frigidaire sending parts. It is the control board apparently. I had to call and was on hold for 45 minutes just to get an answer on time frame. They said 3-5 business days then who knows when the installer can get to it.I tried to file a complaint or speak to a manager and the only option was a complaint that took the man 10 minutes but said there is nothing they can do now. Going on 12 days without a working fridge now. No apology from FA, and they will not answer Twitter or FB messages. They do not have an email or chat either. My advice is to call service lines before buying thousands in appliances and see how their CS is before buying. I would not have bought from FA if I had known their products are as terrible as their service.

Frigidaire Gallery stove has had problems from the beginning. I bought the warranty and had to use it on several of my Frigidaire appliances including the stove for gas leak during the first two years. Now stove is leaking gas again. Called Frigidaire and they told me my model stove was involved in a recall due to gas leaks and the potential risks that causes but my serial number is not within the correct range so even though I am having the same issue as the recalled stoves they will not do anything to assist in fixing the stove. The company was uncaring regarding the potential risks due to their faulty gas range and said I was on my own to fix it. I would never again buy from this company as I have also had issues with my Frigidaire washer, dryer, and dishwasher. If a company will not correct issues with their faulty products they should not be supported. Please look around and purchase something else or end up with a faulty product that the company wont fix like me.

Consumers please beware of Frigidaire Gallery product line. We have had it serviced four times and it is only just bit over a year old. Twice for the same issue of freezing all of our food on the fridge side and once for leaving metal shaving in our ice bin from the ice maker. Now our liner on our refrigerator is splitting apart and cracking all over the inside. The way that the Frigidaire company wants to fix it is with tape. The tape is the width of duct tape and white the same thickness as duct tape. So the repairman will put a piece the size of the cracks and stick them on our refrigerator. This is not an appropriate way to repair a $1500.00 appliance. Its like putting band aids all over the inside of our refrigerator. If they cannot make an appropriate repair then our appliance should be replaced. How will I clean the tape? I thought it was a joke when the repairman told me what Frigidaire said to him for this repair!! No one would want tape on the inside of their fridge. Things spill knock over. Its going to be so messy and really embarrassing when people open my fridge. Frigidaire you should be ashamed. What poor customer service. My husband and I have both been on the phone with them for over an hour and they will not help us and insist we have to use tape. What low standards you have set for what was thought to be a fine product. I have wasted $1500.00 on a refrigerator that will now have tape all over it. I even bought the extended warranty. How disappointed we are. No help was offered, nothing, zero. Buyers beware! I will post pictures soon for you all to see my taped refrigerator liner! We were going to purchase the oven in this Frigidaire product line. But not now. Consumer rights arent protected anymore and it is disturbing!!

I purchased a Gallery Refrigerator from Frigidaire on 11/30/14 and took delivery of the refrigerator 1/18/15 due to my home being remodeled. Upon delivery the refrigerator crisper drawer mounting brackets were broken off completely (essentially the side walls were punctured). I then called Frigidaire Customer Service and they sent a tech out who evaluated the unit and deemed it non-repairable. It is now 3/12/15 and I am still stuck with a refrigerator that is broken despite the fact that I purchased a brand new unit. In order to use any of the drawers - I have to pull them out of the refrigerator and put them on the ground to remove or add items and then put the drawer back into the refrigerator. Every week for the past 5 weeks their customer service has assured me that this should be resolved in the next 24-48 hours - but I get nothing. I am extremely upset at this point. I would not recommend anyone to purchase from this company and I could not be more dissatisfied. I am still waiting for a remedy but nobody over there seems to care despite the fact that I gave them my money. I need help!

My washing machine has not worked since early Nov. 2016. Frigidaire has sent two different repair companies. The first one gave up as they were not able to fix it, the second repair company has not been able to figure out whats wrong with it. They tried changing the computer first which did not fix the machine. 2nd they tried changing something with the door which also did not fix the machine. It has been a pattern of trying different things without success. The current repair company has told us that the machine is not repairable and has also told the Frigidaire, but Frigidaire technicians keep insisting on trying different things.Throughout all this, We have had a total of 5 visits from the repair companies. I had to miss 3 days of work because I have to be home when they go to the home. The second company was able to work on Saturdays, but Frigidaires technicians are not available on weekend so the repair person cant talk on the phone with them while they look at the machine. I have complained about their process without any success since we still dont have a machine that works. I have spoken with 3 supervisors and one manager and keep getting the same message that their technicians still want to try something else. So they shipped some cables supposedly next day delivery on the week of 12/13 so we set up an appointment on 12/20 for the repair company to show up. The cables never made it to the home so I canceled the appointment with the repair company.I spoke with Frigidaire and now the cables were going to be deliver on 12/31 so I set another appointment with the repair company on 1/3. The cables never arrived on 12/31 so I canceled another appointment. Now Frigidaire tells me that the cables will not be deliver until 1/6/17. By now we are on two months in with a machine that is supposed be new and does not worked. I was also told by one Frigidaires support technicians that their notes showed repairs done in 1/16/16 for a similar issue with the door, before I actually moved to the new condo, purchased the condo on 2/16/16 with all new appliances. Unfortunately they are all from Frigidaire and given my current experience with this company I will never purchase and will tell friends to not purchase from this company. This also means that when the cables actually get delivered I will have to miss a 4th day of work so that the repair person can see the machine. It has been a nightmare dealing with Frigidaire as they are very insensitive to their customers needs, they seem to not care for their customers as we are now two months in without a working machine. Thank you.

Menards passed the buck and so did Frigidaire, will not replace or Give refund for lost food. I purchased a Frigidaire washer and dryer in July of 2015. Almost immediately I need service due to the washer leaking, not filling up with water properly and the dryer would not dry the clothes completely. Since then, I have had 11 separate service calls on the units. Each time, there is a 4 hour window for service which requires me to be off work. They have replaced every part on the washer and most computerized parts on the dryer. Now, the washer has the same problem that caused the original service call. I have made numerous calls to the customer service line and always get the same response. Customer service say they are meeting to decide how to proceed and promise a return call. They never do. I have to call them, start the entire conversation history over with another customer service rep.We are now in June of 2016. I may have had 2 weeks of continual usage of the washer and dryer until the next problem with the machines occur. I have asked them to recognize that they sold me a defective product and to stop trying to fix the unfixable and send me a new machine. I have explained to them that my unit got by their quality control department and that they sold me a lemon, a machine that obviously does not work as intended. Of course, the warranty will expire in July and they will then have no obligation to fix (joke) the units. If this was a automobile, it would be recalled. If this was medical care, it would be malpractice. You would think a company of this size would realize that they sold me a bad product and make it right.Today I emailed the CEO Jonas Samuelson with my complaints. Hoping but with major doubts I will hear back. Buyers, beware of this company and good luck dealing with their lack of customer service. PS: I still have no washer and dryer going on 30 days from the last service call. Apparently, they are waiting for parts to arrive. Guess they never heard of USPS or UPS overnight shipping.

We have purchased two Frigidaire Professional ranges, and neither will work
We have purchased two Frigidaire Professional ranges, and neither will work. The part number is FPEF3081KF. Frigidaire is saying that the problem is the electrical service in this part of the US (Kansas), however, we arent having any problems with the Frigidaire Gallery, GE, Samsung, or Whirlpool appliances in this same small development. Supposedly Frigidaire is replacing one range (with what knows what), and says the other doesnt qualify because its not a manufacturing defect.I cant follow the logic there, since neither one will work. I guess Kansas must be the equivalent of a third world country and we just shouldnt expect to be able to buy appliances and actually have them work. Another Frigidaire representative says that replacement power supplies are being engineered, and they should be available in a few weeks. In the meantime, two military families are living without being able to cook. If you want logical and caring customer service, dont buy a Frigidaire. Frigidaire thinks its okay for people to wait weeks for repairs.

Time has passed and it is time to change the water filter (6 months). I open the package to find the filters they sent me are the wrong ones. I call to explain that they sent the wrong filters. They explain that there is only a 90 day return policy. Why would I open an item before I needed it? Needless to say these babies are going up on eBay and I will purchase OEM filters. This is a policy they did not think out.

We purchased our Frigidaire glass-top stove in July of 2011 (Model #LGEF3045KFE). Within six months, it started showing symptoms. Whenever we used two burners and the oven at the same time, the entire unit would shut down. After cooling down (and flipping the breaker switches for the stove circuit), the stove would reset and wed be able to use it again (as long as we only used one burner and the oven). This happened a few times the first year; it happened a few more times the second year. I kept thinking I didnt have a large enough circuit breaker for the stove, until it happened again for the last time. The stove would not reset. NONE of the burners, nor the oven, worked. Thats when I went online and found out that there were a lot of people complaining about the same problem. When I contacted Frigidaire, they said it was MY problem since the one-year warranty period had expired, even though my stove had started showing problems DURING the warranty period.Frigidaire has refused to stand by its product (which is TERRIBLE, by the way). As a result, I will NEVER buy anything made by Frigidaire ever again. I am telling all of my friends to stay away from their products because of their shoddy workmanship, lousy customer service, and useless warranty. Appliances should last for 10-20 years before breaking down. Ive been a homeowner for 30 years. I have NEVER had to fix ANY of my appliances - until I bought a Frigidaire. Never again.

Back in August 25th, 2006 I purchased 3 Frigidaire products: stainless burner gas cooktop, a double gas wall oven and an over-the-range microwave oven from AjMadison. Out of the 3 two are broken or dont function properly. I had my entire downstairs, which included the kitchen completely, remodeled. In 2007 all the new appliances were installed. I started having problems almost right away with the microwave. The hinges started to get really loose to the point of not being able to use it unless we held the door shut. Then the exhaust fan started coming on at will. We had to literally have to unplug the exhaust fan cord. A repairman came out and we thought he had fixed the problem but shortly after that every time we use the microwave it sounds like its about to exploded. The noise is that loud. Now our gas double oven door hinges broke. We had two repairmen at different times that tried to fix the hinges but it can not be fixed or replaced. The whole oven unit has to be replaced because this stupid oven is a one piece unit. I contacted Frigidaire and they said that there is nothing that they can or will do about it because they are no under warranty anymore and that I should have purchased an extended warranty. How dare them! A person should not have to purchase anything extra not unless they want to not have to so that these cheaply made appliances will be covered for some repairs. This company has known for a very, very long time that most of their appliances have serious problems. I refuse to pay for the items I already paid for once. Im sorry, I wont cut the mustard with me. Im very upset and something needs to be done about this on-going problem; otherwise, more people like us will get taken to the bank. We are retired people. I should be enjoying my retirement rather than trying to figure out how Im supposed to pay to replace these things. My question to all of you who are going through these problems with me is what are we going to do about it? I want to file a class action lawsuit. Are you with me or not?

We purchased a new double oven in fall of 2010. Within the first 6 months we noticed that the upper oven starting burning everything - even after just a few minutes. We called for service and it was found that the upper oven had warped and as a result, the entire stove was replaced as no expense to us. In September of 2013 we noticed that the racks in the lower oven were not longer safe. They had to be balanced and fell if any weight was put on them. I called for service and the tech came out to tell us that the lower oven cavity would have to be replaced. This is less than a 2 year old stove - and my 2nd problem with the ovens expanding. I contacted Fridgidaires customer service who at first were not helpful at all because it was beyond the 1 year warranty. I tried to express my concern about the safety and asked about liability if the rack fell and someone was burned...they then indicated that the oven could be repaired but it was very labor intense and as a gesture, they would pay for the parts if we paid for labor. Getting quotes of several hundreds of dollars, we decided to replace the stove with a different brand at our expense. I had contacted Fridgidaire to see if they would like the stove back to research how it can fail twice in less than 3 years but they told me to dispose of it. So after spending $1600 for a new Gallery series Double oven - I am left with trash at the curb after less than 2 years (on the replacement oven). I am disgusted and mad that Fridgidaire was so complacent about the failure of their product - not once but TWICE. And my reward was --- it is out of warranty. My prior stove was 12 years old and was never serviced and this piece of crap was serviced multiple times and replaced due to defects. And I am left with the bill... great company - avoid this company at all costs...It will leave you without nothing.

In January/February of 2016 I bought a brand new unit from this despicable company Frigidaire. Keep in mind when I buy a refrigerator I intend for it to last at least 4 to 5 years before it starts to give problems unless there is a natural disaster. Earthquake, storm, etc... in less than 9 moths the fridge light doesnt work. I went to numerous stores to get a light bulb thinking that the light bulb in the fridge blew out. Home Depot, Lowe’s, Orchard, etc… 7 different light bulbs were purchased and tested on the fridge yet none of them worked, I went as far as going back to Lowe’s and getting the light bulb that was used in the model on the floor and tested it, that didnt work either. Later that day I called Frigidaire customer support and got the most rudest, ignorant, discussing person on the phone. While shes babbling on and on about how it is my fault and how the company she works for is sooooo great Im trying to tell her that theres no way in hell that I could have done anything to the fridge if the unit is working and cooling things. I explain to her that is a self defrost fridge and that there are only 2 people in the household. I hung up refusing to get yelled at by someone who won’t listen to anything I have to say. Around 15 min after I had hung up I went to the fridge (with my flashlight) to get some lemonade. As soon as the grub on my right pinky finger touched the fridge door handle it detached from the fridge. I sat there next to the door handle thinking to myself well this is complete madness. The light bulb doesnt work and the fridge handle is not latched correctly. This company really needs to start manufacturing decent unit. Mark my words, NEVER WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THE CRAP FRIGIDAIRE SUPPLIES TO YOU... PS. waiting for my 3rd repair guy to show up on Friday. Let’s see how that goes.

I would caution anyone any one who is considering purchasing a Frigidaire product. We purchased a complete Frigidaire Gallery stainless steel set of appliances for our kitchen. In 10 months, we have had issues with every single appliance. It first started with our fridge. The compressor was bad right when we received it. Our appliance vendor replaced it. Afterwards, it also started leaking water on our hardwood floors in our newly built custom house and spoiled all of our groceries. We called Frigidaire to file a complaint and also asked for a food credit to replace the $700 Costco trip we had just put in there. The response was basically, We dont really care and we dont do food credits anymore - read line 22 of your warranty.”When our appliance vendor finally replaced the fridge (what a battle this was), they gave us a free upgrade to a Frigidaire Professional series. Days after delivery, the fridge leaked a ton of water on the floors again. The repairman came and discovered a bad water valve and repaired it. A couple of months later, our microwave started arching. Talk about a scary and dangerous situation. We had yet another repairman out and he fixed it. While fixing it, he shared with us the philosophy of many appliance companies. They basically make cheap stuff and it needs to be fixed often. It’s a sad realization after you spend thousands on appliances. Just recently, we have had our gas range have a gas valve go bad and then our dishwasher flooded our kitchen due to a bad gasket. I have had to fight with the appliance vendor to get them to take our appliances back and allow us to get another line of them. It has been extremely frustrating. I dont even want to see the Frigidaire logo at this point and will never buy anything from them again. I would caution anyone who is considering Frigidaire. I wouldnt take something of theirs even if it was free.

I purchased this refrigerator in April of 2010, now 4 years later it has stopped working. Earlier this year I was concerned about temperature fluctuations but they always went back to normal in a few hours. I have dropped a can of soda in the refrigerator and it cracked the inside. The drawers have been very difficult to maneuver resulting in some breakage there also. Seems like very inferior materials used. The only advice I received was to place some tape over the crack. I have seen this recommendation in other comments regarding these refrigerators. Very unhappy overall with this product, cracking, breaking, temperature fluctuations and now a breakdown (BTW this happened the week before Christmas for which I was going to cook). When we bought our home back in March 2016, we replaced the kitchen appliances with smudge resistant stainless steel Frigidaire ones. We quickly realized that THE HANDLES are not smudge resistant. Annoying. We also noticed that the drawers were so tight and stiff we could barely open and shut them. The company sent us a food grade silicone spray to treat the rails. THEN, 2 months after we got the appliances the motherboard on our dishwasher crapped out. We had to wait 2 weeks for the part to come in. Shortly after, the motor in the ice maker went.Again, replacement needed. Recently, it started being fussy again, requiring the ice to constantly need to be cleared from the blade in the front or it hangs up and won’t spin. And now, AGAIN, the motherboard went on our dishwasher. And we are expecting family from out of town in a week for our daughter’s wedding. At first, Frigidaire offered to pay for the part, but wanted us to pay for the labor, because it was out of warranty, and we didn’t purchase an extended one.So I asked them, How is it, that we spend $580 on a new dishwasher, and we are told we need to spend an extra $100 to $200 in order for the company to stand by their product? I told the Frigidaire representative that I felt like the extended warranty was extortion. I asked her how she would feel, if she spent that kind of money on an appliance and it lasted less than two years? I said that our last home had a cheap KitchenAid builder’s grade dishwasher, and we never had an issue with it in 10 years. She checked with the manager, and then she told me that they would do the repair for free as a one time courtesy. But that I should purchase the extended warranty??? I said no, because if it needs repairs again, I’m getting rid of it.

We manage a few properties and at one point ordered a few Frigidaire refrigerators. Three of them never worked upon arrival. I was thankfully able to get two of them replaced after several calls with the distributor because frigidaire refused. It has been a year and I still cannot get the third one fixed or replaced. I have had numerous calls dropped with their customer service, countless promises to have the item fixed, and even more promises that they would bring the needed parts to fix it the next time. I will NEVER purchase one of their products again for the sheer sake of how atrocious their customer service is. I hope you should never have to call their customer service, because after waiting on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes (there is no call back option), you will likely get someone who you have to re-explain the entire scenario to, they will still not understand, and your problem will still not get resolved. At this point Im likely to just throw away this refrigerator instead of wasting more time trying to get them to fix it. I was just on the phone for over an hour, they refused to give me a manager and the call surprisingly dropped. This has happened a number of times before when I have had issues and I never received a call back. 0/10 would recommend.

Frigidaire Gallery Series only worthy of a shooting gallery. Upon purchasing our new townhouse from a developer we opted to upgrade our appliances - all of which were Frigidaire products including washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove. A garden hose and a table fan would have been more effective than either the washer dryer combo or the dishwasher. Despite being labelled as commercial, heavy duty, super capacity it doesnt take an active imagination to realize that it must have been opposite day when the marketing team drunkenly scribbled the copy they wanted to label the washer/dryer with. We consistently have to remove wet clothes from the dryer and run it again with only a handful of pieces. It usually takes three complete cycles on the highest heat setting to dry even the most modest load of laundry. The washer stops mid cycle on account of being over weighted with a single set of bedsheets The same goes for the dishwasher which takes over 3 noisy hours to run a single normal setting wash, only to find half the pre-rinsed dishes still need to be hand washed. Complete waste of money and time. AVOID AT ALL COST.

The temperature of my Frigidaire french-door refrigerator went up to 55F after less than 5 years of regular usage and it stayed at high temp between 44-55F. I called to schedule an appointment for diagnosis, the associate immediately charged me $99 over the phone for the appointment. Later, I changed my mind and decided to buy a new fridge during Black Friday sale, so I called to cancel my appointment on 12/1/2021. 2 weeks later I didnt see refund and called to follow up. Guess what? They did cancel my appointment but they DID NOT process the refund. After that, I had to call many times to follow up my refund, last call was on 12/27/2021. 1+ month later into 2022, Im still waiting for my refund. Good luck if you are dealing with Frigidaire.

I upgraded my kitchen with a new 4 piece silver, grey mist Frigidaire appliances. I was told that Frigidaire was the best. My previous appliance was Frigidaire. I had no problem with them. My refrigerator broke within a 1.5 years. I was awaken by my smoke detector @ 4:30 am on 10/11/14. My kitchen was completely filled with smoke and a burning smell. After searching for what was burning, I saw smoke coming from the back of my fridge; so scary. I have NEVER had a problem with a NEW appliance before this issue. Called Frigidaire and was given no sympathy or empathy. I was told it no longer under warranty and that I should purchase an extended warranty after I have the problem fixed. The parts on my American made appliances were shown as made in Mexico. Very Strange. I could not see paying $1000s for appliances then paying $800 to get a NEW appliance fixed. My heart was broken. After 2 weeks with no fridge, they agreed to pay for the parts, but the labor and service call was well over $300. Frigidaire need to work on their Customer Service Dept. I was hung up on several times, after being on hold for 30 minutes, my call was placed back into the cue, I was given misinformation, the list goes on and on. I just cant believe a company that I thought was so upstanding, turned out to be very disgraceful. I can no longer tell my friends and family to purchase any Frigidaire appliances. Yes, it looks great, but thats about it. :-( I have receipts, documentation, names and dates to back up every thing I have said, which is entirely true.

I’ve had a “new” microwave for 3 years and during this time I’ve had to call in 4 or 5 service request since it’s not working. Since it’s outside of their warranty, they charge $90 per trip fee. If I want to avoid the trip fee, they want me to pay for an extended warranty. Either way, they want more money. This just tells me they are using a defective product & could care less about the customer experience. Horrible accommodations to a client. For the amount they charge & the number of times they’ve been out, I could have easily purchased another appliance. If it was the 1st or 2nd time, I understand. But at this point it tells me you have incompetent contractors “fixing” an item that should have been replaced & an appliance that messes up this many times in such a short amount of time tells me it’s horribly put together. Trash!

Purchased a new house in 2008 and decided to upgrade to some nice new stainless appliances. The company recommended Frigidaire. Poor decision. The stove threw sparks when the oven door was closed due to poor wiring under the glass top. The microwave was so loud, it had to be replaced immediately. Now when a cabinet door is closed, the microwave turns on by itself and you have to open the microwave door and close it to turn it off. The dishwasher is hard to close, its noisy, and the gaskets started falling off within a year. The refrigerator door shelves broke several times under normal use and the company refused to acknowledge issues with poor design, then denied sending us replacements. Now the temperature control actuator that opens and closes to let cold air in started clicking, then broke, and wont hold a temperature under 40.This is without a doubt the poorest quality appliance company EVER. I have a 15 year old GE Hotpoint refrigerator in the garage we use for extra food, milk and beverage storage, and have never had an issue with it. If I had the money to replace it all tomorrow, I would take every bit of this garbage, and deliver it right back to the front door of the company with a few choice words painted all over it.

Model # - FRsss2323AS0 or O Serial # -4A14107574. Order number for missing parts: ** waiting on shipment since Feb 25, 2022. Where is the tracking number. My mother has been waiting on missing parts for her new fridge since January 2022. I have called a few times just to simply get the tracking number for the order shipped out I was told on February 25, 2022. They have all the details on file from the specs as to which parts are missing (deli tray 3,4,5 which is specs 48,49) and (Crisper tray 49) as well as a fridge logo. This was covered by Mykia, she told me that the order was held but never go back to me as to why it was held. I spoke with Ann who told in early Feb. She told me by Feb 25 2022 the missing parts will be shipped. I spoke to Sirena told March 14 she hung up on me and but told me she would place me on hold to go retrieve the tracking number, enter hang up a dial tone. Someone either did not do the reorder for the missing parts or the shipped is still not out yet. Either way when a customer calls if the CS rep does not know the answer as to why the order hasnt been shipped or cant even provide the tracker number for the missing parts, this only means people are slipping on the cs service skills. From January until March 14 2022 my mother is still waiting on missing parts. WHY? Can I get a order tracking number without cs reps hanging up or just the honesty of what is really going on here. Tomorrow I will call back and just request to speak with a supervisor or manager because these are simple questions that only require simple answers. WHERE IS THE TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE MISSING PARTS???

Year 3 ice maker repair again, year 4 dishwasher leaking and had to replace. Fridge ice maker and water dispenser repair. Year 7 stove started to smoke (when back was removed the wire assembly for bake was melted into the control panel) so had to replace. So that leaves only 1 appliance (microwave) that remains. If I could give them a negative star I definitely would. I began replacing the appliances in my kitchen with Frigidaire about 5 years ago. I had problems with the refrigerator. Thank goodness it was covered under warranty, the condenser or something had to be replaced. I also had problems with the water in the door of the freezer. The paddle broke twice. The first time they sent me a new one to replace it.The real issue is the Frigidaire stove. This past Saturday night My husband woke me up about 12:30 am. The house was full of thick white smoke that burned our lungs and eyes. My 83 year old mother lives with us. We determined there was no fire just smoke. We began clearing the smoke out of the house. We then noticed a skillet on the stovetop smoking. The knobs were all turned to off but the stove had cooked that skillet. Its a wonder it didnt catch my house on fire.I contacted Frigidaire this morning. At first they told me it was not on the recall list and they could send me to an authorized repair person. After insisting to talk to someone else, I got Tiffany a corporate representative. She also advised it was not on the recall list. She did offer me 50% off repair. I actually laughed. I said your appliance came on by itself, almost killed me, my husband and my mother, could have burned my house down and you are going to offer me 50% off fixing it? I will never buy another Frigidaire and will do as much as possible to keep anyone else from buying Frigidaire. The offer to fix my problem was definitely not even close to what they should have done.

We bought all new Frigidaire appliances when moving into our new home 7 years ago. The first to go was the Dishwasher about 2 years ago due to leaking. We just discovered ice forming on the back of our Refrigerator then suddenly the ice maker stopped working. We can access water from the door still but the whole back of the Refrigerator is rusting out due to the ice formation and we have to buy new Refrigerator now. They offered us $500 toward a new one but will never buy from Frigidaire again. The Gas Stove is not holding up well either as the coating is peeling away from the control panel looks terrible. I am writing this now because I just discovered our Electrolux Dryer (made by Frigidaire) is also broken - on Normal setting it is stuck on Air Dry. I have seen 30 year old appliances that look better and still work. WARNING. DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE.

I purchased the Gallery Series of appliances. To date, the range, dishwasher and refrigerator have all needed repairs (the dishwasher and refrigerator needed repairs within 1 year of purchase). The latest is the stove... about 1 month ago the smooth top range began to smoke from the back of the unit near the control knobs and about a week later the stove began to beep and would not stop beeping. Now the stove will only heat to 200 degrees while beeping continuously and the oven will shut off, the continuous beeping continues.I contacted Frigidaire and was told the stove was no longer in warranty... that I could purchase the expensive Extended warranty for this product. I purchased the warranty offered and was told the warranty was sold in error and that they would not honor the warranty because this is now considered a pre-existing condition. The real question is Why does a basically new appliance not hold up to less than normal use and is broken down, considered USELESS after two years. This is a fire hazard and this company has no real interest in the customer after they sell the appliance to you. They do have a high interest in PUSHING their expensive extended warranties off on you as though they already know the appliances will break down within one to two years of purchase.

2015 we bought all new Frigidaire appliances. Very disappointed. Refrigerator back Iced up and rusted out. Frigidaires fix was to put a 1 and 1/4 thick foam on the back of the frig. Now the fridge sticks out even further from the wall, I wouldnt be able to see if it were iced over with the foam on the back, and the ice machine hasnt worked the same since the repair. Our double oven burns food on the edges. Frigidaire put one of the largest burners towards the back so that the heat from the burner melts the face of the control board. Had it replaced once already and it is melted again. Our Dishwasher wont work on all the setting. If we select Power wash, we end up with water all over the floor. We get constant power failures also. If I could give a zero rating I would. Im surprised this company hasnt been sued. Last I spoke to Frigidaire, I was told that they could help me find a service provider and that once I pot them to fix the issue, they could then offer me an extended warranty. Seriously???

I purchased this refrigerator in September 2016. The plastic lining, the doors have all cracked due to the cold temperatures. The plastic started cracking within a year of purchase. I previously had a GE for 15 years and never had any problems. This new fridge has plastic pieces hanging off of them and is visibly horrible. I purchased the warranty and they say it is cosmetic so they will not cover. I have called Frigidaire and they want me to purchase new doors. When I asked to escalate they provided me a P.O Box to write a letter in hopes that I would not bother.I cannot believe that I spent so much money on a horrible product that is cheaply made. We have 4 adults living in our home and expect our fridge to last more than a year. I have a claim currently for my ice maker because it jams, stops working and then drips all along the front side of my fridge. Lets see how that goes. We purchased a Frigidaire Gallery French Door Refrigerator six years ago from Howards. It cost us over $2000. In October 2016, it stopped cooling and freezing and we first noticed an SYCF code. We called Frigidaire and were told to order the control board which sits behind the ice maker. The part was ordered on Nov 6 and came after Thanksgiving! I was so mad and when I called Frigidaire, they refunded us for this part because it took over three weeks to get. This control board didnt fix the issue, so we called them back. It was recommended that we call a certified technician on their list. I contacted Riddle after speaking with Frigidaire. Theyre a certified repair service for Frigidaire. I called on Tuesday, Jan 3 in the morning and their technician, Ben, showed up that afternoon. After 15 minutes, he diagnosed the problem is that the switch board with two 5 amp fuses needed to be replaced. He said that he would call the following day to give me a price for the service and labor. For the 20 minutes he was here, it was a $79.00 service charge. I received a call from Ben the following morning at 10:00 a.m. stating that the cost would be $629.20 because he would replace the switch board (that he diagnosed the day before) and the main control board (below the refrigerator). I said THREE times that youre charging me for the main control board based on an assumption you have that it wont work because the switch board doesnt work. I said that isnt right since he didnt diagnose or test the main control board to see if it needed to be replaced. He is basically charging me for a product that may not be broken. The original cost was around $350 and now with this new bogus main control board, it totaled $629.20. AVOID USING RIDDLE who is suppose to be certified repair company for Frigidaire. I called Frigidaire and explained my experience with Riddle and ordered the main control board. The rep I spoke to pulled up the specs for this model and I clearly stated its the control board which sits behind the fridge, at the top left. I confirmed THREE times because he kept calling it something else. He assured me that it was the right item. About 7 business days later, I received the item and guess what? It was wrong.I called and spoke to Juanique, corporate manager on Jan 12, 2017 (remember, our fridge has been broken since October 2016) and she returned the incorrect item and shipped out the right part. She gave me 20% off and free ground shipping because of all my issues. As we waited for the part, we decided to buy a new fridge to avoid all the headache and future issues with this refrigerator. On 2/1/17, I called and requested an RMA number. It took over 10 minutes because the rep (April) could not locate the order. Their system is absolutely ancient and wastes too much time for the consumer. My experience with this location has been NEGATIVE. The customer service reps need more training, attitude adjustments. The two managers I spoke to were very helpful and actually fixed the problems created by their employees. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE GALLERY FRENCH DOOR refrigerator (model #FGHB2844LF1). The ice maker broke two years into the purchase. We didnt fix it since we have a U-Line ice maker.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANYS BRANDS! I have a Frigidaire french door refrigerator that I bought new four years ago. I did not purchase the extended warranty and during the first year, I had at least two service calls for the unit not cooling. After the warranty period, the freezer would frost over and actually had ice build up inside the drawer that required I do a manual defrost.I came home from a trip and the temp in the refrigerator was at 67 degrees but the freezer was still working. The appliance repair tech that came to evaluate the unit said that both computers on the unit were not functioning and the repair was going to be ~ $500. He ordered the computers and when he came back, he pulled out the unit to check the freon and the back of the refrigerator was rusted. Its a known issue with Frigidaire and he called them to explain the issue so I filed a ticket to see what they would do for me. The options were that they would possibly replace it or pay a reasonable amount to me based on depreciation. I was told by the rep at the call center that the refrigerator was under a do not repair order so it should be repaired. After 10 days of waiting for the company to evaluate the unit, their final offer was a 25% rebate on another model. Ive been out several hundred dollars and am going to be out another $500 for computers on a unit that they know is defective or $1300 to replace the refrigerator. Im just going to bite the bullet and repair the thing vs. buying another piece of crap Frigidaire and be out approximately $1300 with the rebate that they offered. Really not good customer service that you admit the unit is defective and issue a do not repair order but dont back up your appliances. The builder put Frigidaire in my home, Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher but I guarantee you that as they fail, it wont be Frigidaire or any GE brand that will replace them. SHAME on YOU.

We purchased a new dishwasher in late 2009, along with a new kitchen. Within months of our kitchen install, the doors started to peel and crack around the dishwasher. Our first thought was that there was an issue with the finish on the cabinets. Why didn’t we think that the dishwasher was to blame but the cabinet company that replaced the cabinets? Now in our new kitchen the same problem has been happening. This apparently is a well known design flaw. I contacted customer service and they would not even let me speak to a supervisor. So, when my old fridge died, I went to Lowes and found my Frigidaire side by side. I love it! The adjustable shelves in the freezer really help with odd sized objects. The basket in the freezer is great for all my frozen veggies too! And did you know that two of the shelves in the fridge side pull out so you can reach the items in the back more easily. The glass shelves always look so nice and clean and the inset shelves in both doors can be moved too! The built in water and ice maker is a lifesaver when you need a drink! We purchased a new home in 2008 and had new Frigidaire appliances as part of that purchase (dishwasher, stove/range, and microwave). About 2-3 months ago, we began to smell an electrical or plastic burning smell every so often but couldnt place the smell after going around the house. Last weekend I noticed a puddle of water on the floor and after some investigation found that our dishwasher was leaking. Originally I just thought it was from a leaking hose or something. Upon further investigation, we found the heating element burned through the bottom of the plastic tub of the dishwasher (we also discovered our floor and cabinets near the dishwasher are damaged as well and need to be replaced).I checked for recall information and did not find it. I contacted one phone number and touched base with the local Frigidaire repair company. They said Frigidaire would definitely want to know. So, I contacted Frigidaire to let them know of the problem and report it. I wanted to be sure they had all the information about what happened to us to be sure it wouldnt happen to someone else. When I called them, they asked for the model and serial number, and asked if I had an extended warranty, in which I didnt. I told the representative that I wanted to report the heating element burning through the bottom of my dishwasher plastic tub and that it didnt seem like a normal wear and tear kind of issue. And I said that I thought they would want to know the details about it to make sure it didnt happen somewhere out, or potentially help me with my situation. I was put on hold for them to talk to a supervisor. I was told that they made a note of my issue (literally no details given yet). And since I was outside of the 12 month warranty, there was nothing they could do to help me.I told her again I thought they should know about it and the details of what happened. She said her supervisor said that it usually happens when something heavy is resting on the heating element. I was a little taken aback that the initial was that basically we were resting something heavy on the element to cause it to happen. I said, So your reasoning is only that I put something too heavy in the dishwasher. She told me she wasnt accusing me of that. I asked her what else it could be. I said that I wasnt trying too difficult, but I had hoped Frigidaire as a company would be interested in knowing what happened with their product to potentially protect other consumers from the situation I was in. The response was “Is there anything else I can do for you?” I was surprised and expressed to her that I was thoroughly disappointed in Frigidaire. Their lack of interest in knowing the details of what happened to me and making accusations showed they had no genuine concern for me as a consumer or other consumers who may be facing the same things. She again said she wasnt accusing me of anything, but I asked her to explain what else it could be. She only said that heating elements burning through the tub are caused by heavy items resting on the element.I believe there is a design flaw with this unit (model # FDB1050REC2) and that the heating element should be better supported in the tub. This dishwasher is only 3 years old. The situation is not from wear and tear of other items or breaking of something. It is a flaw that unfortunately Frigidaire is not interested in investigating or even acknowledging as a potential issue.

I purchased a Frigidaire 27.86 cu ft FD REF LGH from Lowes on 10.5.14 and had it delivered to my new home on 1.28.15. Less than a year later the ice maker started dripping water on the wood floor and stopped making ice. I contacted Frigidaire who said that since it was over a year old, it was not under warranty and it would cost over $300 to repair through one of their recommended repair companies. The female customer service rep asked me if I would like to purchase an extended warranty for $500.After several back and forth calls to customer service about the situation I ended up paying $300 for a five-year extended warranty. The repair company came out, said he needed to order the part, and weeks later came out to repair the ice maker which is now doing the same thing again. The repairman said he would probably see me every year because it is a problem with these models having the ice maker in the refrigerator door instead of the freezer door. When I called Frigidaire this morning, the customer no service person was very rude and would not even allow me to speak. She kept talking over me, giving me the same repair company in my area and a warranty number for the service. When I asked her if there was any possible option to replace the refrigerator with another model, she said, No. I responded with, So, am I stuck with this high-end expensive but faulty design until I purchase another brand? She said, Yes, thats it! I do not recommend anyone to purchase any Frigidaire products. They have a serious customer service and customer relations issue, and they do not back their products. I am now still waiting for the Frigidaire authorized warranty repair service to call me back from over two hours ago. Last time I had to take off two days work for this repair. Not acceptable product.

My wife worked and saved for a LONG time because she wanted to upgrade the kitchen. Once she felt she had saved up enough, she went shopping for a houseful of appliances. She liked the Frigidaire Gallery line and the Affinity washer and dryer. In October of 2010, we took delivery of stainless gas range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator along with new washer and dryer. The only good thing to be said about Frigidaire is the smudge-proof stainless is the real deal. Too bad its not worth the aggravation. I would rather clean the front of the fridge every day, than deal with this brand ever again. We have paid for extended service contracts on all of the appliances since 2010 and with good reason. The washer has been repaired at least 8 times. It also stinks inside quite often. There was a class action suit for this and all you get is a check for $50. We used it to buy vinegar to clean it periodically (the only thing that works). Dryer has been repaired at least 3 times, if not more. Dishwasher repaired once. Gas range did a weird thing where if you tried to light one burner, all the igniters would fire up. That took time for parts, but it was otherwise usable. The refrigerator, where to begin??? Constant noise and malfunctions with the ice maker. Also, it would never stop making ice, even after the ice bin was full. After five repairs, my wife convinced someone in customer service it was time to replace the fridge. Fridge number two had the same issue with the ice maker, it would never stop making ice. You know the bin is too full when water drips from the ice dispenser. In 2014, we moved and washer, dryer and fridge #2 came with us. My wife likes her appliances to match, so she bought a new Gallery gas range, microwave and dishwasher.Fridge #2 didnt make it far into 2015. Ice maker stopped making ice. Deemed un-repairable, enter fridge number 3. Fridge #3 also has the issue with never stopping ice production. The icemaker was replaced (they finally re-engineered it so they didnt have to bring you a new fridge every time the ice maker quit). #3 is a little noisier than 1 and 2, but tolerable. Also, the replacement ice maker never stops making ice... Two cubic foot microwave deemed un-repairable after just 2 years. They agreed to replace it, but they dont make a 2.0 anymore, we could get a 1.75 cubic foot. Ok, but that unit is cheaper than the one its replacing, are we getting money back? You guessed it, no. They will add 3 months to the original warranty - TAKE IT, YOULL NEED IT!!! We were without a microwave for six weeks while waiting for Frigidaire and Lowes to communicate with one another. As I am typing this, its been almost a week since weve been able to use the gas range after it filled our home with gas. The nice man from the gas company put a DANGER tag on it and shut the gas supply to it. Frigidaire service said someone would be out the next day to look at it, but weve been down that road many, many times and we knew no one would be out the next day. Called the service company and, sure enough, earliest appointment was two weeks out. Call Frigidaire back and said we cant be without a range for two weeks. They said they would escalate to scheduling team, I said, You need to authorize a replacement now. No, we only escalate. I need to talk to a manager. Get Angela on the phone, shes like a parrot and says the same things over and over again. She promised a call back with status the next day, never heard from her again. Called her and left messages twice, no response. If you are reading this and am wondering if my wife and I would recommend Frigidaire appliances... Wed ask you why would you want to do that to yourself? If you just have to have smudge-proof stainless, never be without the extended contracts. Never. Customer service has only gotten worse over the past eight years and my wife is truly regretting the decision to go with Frigidaire.

I had to replace my Frigidaire over the stove microwave oven 3 times in 5 years...a tolal of over $1,500.00!!! I will no longer purchase Frigidaire products and will not recommend them to my friends and family. Only myself and my husband live in our home and they were treated with care but no compensation was even considered. My last microwave oven, a Panasonic convection oven lasted over ten years and was still working when we moved.

I have never been so disappointed and angry over a purchase. I recently built my dream home and was very excited. All my appliances are Frigidaire and had always thought it was a solid product. My one yr warranty had come to an end this past May. For several weeks now my dishwasher had not been getting the dishes clean but it would work well enough when run on heavy mode. I do not use it that often so it was more of a bother than anything until I noticed several pieces of wood flooring popping up and realized I had a leak of sorts. The builder came to take a look and we saw that water was pouring out from under the dishwasher. There was mold growing. As luck would have it my ice maker in my Frigidaire freezer stopped working as well. I called Frigidaire and was told I would have to pay for the repairs myself as it 6 months out of warranty. I have such concerns as all my other appliances are made by Frigidaire as well. So now not only are my relatively new appliances not working but I have damage to my new home. All of which I have to pay for because this company did not make a quality product. It is just myself and my daughter who is 7 that live in my home so how much wear and tear can 2 people do in a little over a year. My builder who is one of the largest in this area in NC was disgusted as well by the response from Frigidaire and told me its not the first time he has heard this and will no longer be recommending using them in the homes he builds as he wants to keep his reputation of quality homes. I can only tell people I know to NOT buy products by this company and if you do dont expect them to do the right thing. I had a Kenmore for over 15 years without any problems and I will be replacing my Frigidaire. I understand that things break but when something is so new and has very little wear and tear it is robbery. Now I am left with the repair cost of both as well as the cost of the damage to my new home.

Purchased the fridge in May 2016 model # FFTR1821QW. Within a month it started making all kinds of noises. It was under warranty so Frigidaire sent someone out to look at the problem. They said it was a fan motor making the noise and replaced it. No sooner than a day later, the same noise, called again. Sent someone out, said they didnt know where the noise was coming from. Called again, sent someone else out who stated there have been several people calling in with the noises that are coming from the product and theres nothing that can be done. It sounds like someone is knocking at all hours of the day and night plus a crap-load of different sounds. Frigidaire says it normal for all these noises and they sent me a form letter of all the noises this could make. Frigidaire says all these noises are listed in the Owners Manual. DONT YOU GET THE OWNERS MANUAL WHEN YOU ACTUALLY OWN THE ITEM?Do not buy this product. The noises are loud, obnoxious knocking constantly. Every day they keep getting noisier and noisier. $500+ may not be a lot of money for a company like Frigidaire, but to its consumers its a lot of money to spend on a crappy fridge. I guess thats one way to make you buy a warranty, because you know its gonna break down at some point.

I made a purchase for an Affinity washing machine from Best Buy in Columbus
I made a purchase for an Affinity washing machine from Best Buy in Columbus Georgia on 1/29/2010. September of last year, after only 9 months of use of my washer, it broke, and had to be repaired. I was told at that time, that the piece required to fix my washer was very costly, and that my washer would have to be taken apart and reassembled. That part that needed to be replaced, I believe was something called, a drain pump. Because my washer broke within a year of purchase, it was, at this time, covered by warranty. October 14th of this year, 2011, my washer began to have the same problem it did the year prior. I called you all, and was told that the piece required to fix this problem, yet again, was very costly but that you all would cover the cost of the piece, and not the service fee, and repair fee, because I was no longer under warranty. This meant that I would be responsible for paying up to $270 to repairing it and $70 charge just to come out and assess the problem. Unfortunately, having a family of five that includes a service member and infant, I could not afford to pay over half the cost of what I paid for my washer, simply to have someone come out and fix the same issue, that I had a year earlier, less than 9 months after the date of purchase. I had to make a decision to either spend nearly $300, and risk having the same issue again, or purchase a new washer that I could rely on. I went with option number two, and spent money that we didnt have on a new more reliable washer. I am a very displeased customer, and have been greatly inconvenienced. I hope that you all can provide me with some type of solution so that I may continue to be a loyal Frigidaire customer. The only response i received was, we apologize that you had that issue with your appliance. Unfortunately, the parts concession to assist with the parts to repair the appliance, was the only way we could have assisted you with your appliance. We are unable to assist you any further.

I purchased my Frigidaire Professional appliances for a kitchen remodel in January of 2015. The appliances Sat in my garage (in its factory box) until our remodel was done, so we started using them in mid Feb. 2015. The refrigerator ice maker started making a slight noise around Christmas of 2015 and has progressed into a horribly loud noise in January of 2016. Today I called Frigidaire to complain, they offered to sell me an extended warranty for another $450.00... I told them No thanks. I would use a portion of the $450 to hire someone to come work on their product. You know, I dont mind paying extra for a good product. That is what I thought we had done, but Frigidaire proved me wrong today! This refrigerator cost $1800 - and I did not even get a solid year out of it before problems started. Now I find they refuse to stand behind their product. This was my first Frigidaire product and it will absolutely be my last! Thanks for nothing Frigidaire.

Bought all new Frigidaire appliances for new house in Coeur dAlene, Idaho.
Bought all new Frigidaire appliances for new house in Coeur dAlene, Idaho. Right away the refrigerator broke, making the freezer side super cold and the refrigerator side hot. Model number is FGHC2345LF. Freds Appliance (supplier we bought from) fixed it. This is a vacation home, so we are not there very much. Next time we came out, the same problem. Freds fixed it again (allegedly). This happened 3 more times, for a total of 5 repairs for the same thing, under warranty. They claim they replaced mechanical parts, electrical wiring, circuit boards, etc.Of course, as soon as the warranty expired, the same problem reoccurred and both Frigidaire and Freds Appliance told us to start paying if we wanted it fixed. Paid $583 to repair it. A year later, its broken again. Now they are saying its my fault because we dont use it enough! Seriously! They say it has electrolysis because Im not there with it. We leave the house at 55 degrees in the winter when were not there, and never over 80 in the summer. These are not extreme operating temperatures. Why doesnt the state attorney generals step in? I am going to request assistance from the Idaho BBB and State Attorney General.

Purchased all new Frigidaire appliances with a new home and have nothing but regret in doing so because of inferior quality, The dishwasher leaked causing damage to surrounding cabinets, the Range Oven light burned out after only a few uses and the side by side refrigerator freezes anything and everything on the top shelf of the refrigerator. Called for repair three times in six months. Not only that... Frigidaire refused to payout on a 150.00 rebate. Clearly a company with questionable business practices producing and selling an inferior product line with quality issues!!!!

I will never purchase another Frigidaire product for the following reasons:
I will never purchase another Frigidaire product for the following reasons: 1). After two years, the interior light switches failed, causing the lights to remain on after the doors were closed, resulting in the bulbs burning the top of refrigerator compartment. Repairman couldn’t fix them, due to the fact that there are no cool bulbs to replace with. I still have no lights in fridge. 2). The auto ice maker has no overfill shut-off, until you discover that when door is opened, the ice falls underneath the freezer, and the door won’t close until you remove spilled cubes under the freezer; accessing the spilled cubes is a nightmare, for which I now have a special homemade device for this job. 3). Now that fridge is “old” (2012 purchase), water is leaking to bottom of freezer compartment, the freezer jams if it’s not removed. Every 5-6 days, I must empty the bottom drawer of freezer, get down on hands and knees, chip away 1/2 inch of ice from freezer floor, then re-pack bottom drawer!4). Upon calling Frigidaire about the last issue, representative advised me to “purchase a new one, it’s old”, which I definitely will, however, not from this company or any of its affiliates!
