After around 7 service calls, I gave up. No longer use the ice maker. Now for some reason, my freezer gave up. I have only owned it since 2007. For an expensive appliance, it is a huge disappointment.

We received these refrigerators in our new Newark based building and have had problems since they were installed. We have repeatedly contacted company to address the automatic ice maker with ZERO resolution. We are in the new building a year and the ice maker has worked maybe 2 months. The door handles are also very difficult to open - they are thin with little ability to grip. Would NOT recommend wasting money on this refrigerator.

My refrigerator developed some problems, which I accept. However, because it was out of warranty, the appliance store would not service it. None of the local repairers would work on a Liebherr, and the main customer service at Liebherr couldnt provide a service rep for the entire Olympic Peninsula! What good is a refrigerator that cant be serviced? Liebherr has not developed adequate service coverage. They shouldnt sell equipment that they cant assure service.

New ref CS-1200 delivered 6/14, refrigerator stopped working 8/14, service company fixed 2 months later (part was back ordered), broke down again 2 weeks later, took 2 more weeks and still does not work. Customer service at Liebherr is terrible. They screwed up my address which delayed service, their parts always seem to be on back order, they dont follow up. I have been waiting for a supervisor to contact me for a month. Now when I call customer service, they hang up and was told not to call again. Ref is under warranty and has not worked. The servicing company no longer wants to deal with Liebherr because their customer service is so bad. I really liked the ref when I ordered it but since it doesnt work and their customer service is so bad and the servicing company doesnt want to service Liebherr anymore I would think twice before purchasing.

I had a Liebherr fridge/freezer for about ten years. It packed up so I decided to invest in another one. Bad move. We ordered a fridge/freezer and it was so noisy. Plus, on a number of occasions we thought we had closed the doors but we didnt and the freezer door doesnt have an alarm so our food had started to defrost. On our old model, the alarm went off. The shop that supplied our fridge/freezer came to inspect it and agreed it was very noisy and replaced it. The new one has exactly the same problem - its noisy - its like having a vacuum cleaner on in the corner of the kitchen. Plus, we have left the freezer door open now by mistake on at least four occasions - no alarm - I think you literally have to slam the door shut otherwise it will not close. I am so disappointed with my new Liebherr and I will never buy another product from them.

Liebherr Refrigerator freezers: I purchased these 2 units at an auction at Elite Appliance. They were sold as new but with cosmetic issues. They worked for 7 months, then both units failed. When I called for service, I was told that these were not new, rather they were second hand. No one would take responsibility for the lie. Not Elite Appliance, Almo the distributor that sold them the units, or Liebherr. Pieces of junk. Do not buy!

When I went to buy refrigerator in the market, I liked the Liebherr refrigerator after seeing many brands there. The space for adjusting this refrigerator self is quite good. The vegetable box is also quite large. The tuffened glass above the vegetable box is also very useful on which we can place our things. It also has a Spice Box option to contain spices which are not available in other refrigerators. Coolpad is a unique feature that can keep water cool in indoor and outdoor places. The power consumption of the Liebherr refrigerator is lower than other refrigerators. I am completely satisfied by purchasing this refrigerator.

My experiences with Liebherr are terrible. Unable to get a service person to repair refrigerator. Refrigerator was 6,500.00 and have constant problems. Freezer is full of ice. Cannot adjust the temperature in the freezer. No help with any problems and no service available. Gerhards Store where we purchased this is no better.

It has been a good experience with this refrigerator. No starting trouble was felt when we started using it. It is easy to maintain the refrigerator. Cleaning wasnt a big problem. Overall a good refrigerator.

I found Liebherrs Facebook site (for their excavating equipment) and wrote them a nasty note saying I hoped their excavating stuff worked better than their fridge/freezers. I heard back from them immediately! So I sent them the entire story. They got in touch with the store it was purchased from and who did the repairs. Liebhherr agreed to pay for all parts/labor for repairs. It seems that all the freon had leaked out! Ive never heard of this in some 50 years of owning fridges of various makes and ages. Their repair people couldnt even find where the leak was so Liebherr replaced the entire unit (and as they had changed the dimensions since the original unit was purchased, they also replaced the fridge part). So Im satisfied, but it took public shaming on FB to get anything done. However, I would never recommend their fridge/freezers to anyone. Dont know about their excavating equipment.

The refrigerator which was purchased from Vijay Sales Kharghar Navi Mumbai delivered the product. As the shelf of the defroster on which it is hold is been damaged on corner and can be seen only once we remove which is not noticeable unless removed 6 days back when the service technician came as a complaint was raise at Vijay Sale for the the problem which was taking place in the defrost section there was lot of ice getting accumulated kindly request to please replace the refrigerator as the technician has also mentioned in his service record and the refrigerator is 2 months old. You dont happen to buy a refrigerator everyday. So I happen to visit the Vijay sales outlet with my wife for searching a new one and happen to see this new name Liebherr. The sales guy convinced me that the CNPef 4516 is the latest entrant in the market, however after some research and history it so happens that they have only been manufacturing refrigerators. So we decided to get it home. Its certainly unlike your regular refrigerator where its premium reflects on it being installed. A quick billing and a easy installation is all it took to bestow its presence in my kitchen, the cooling has been magnificent since day 1 and in a city like Pune where the heat can get extreme this refrigerator doesnt let you down. The easy to store vegetable bins and the cooling are the very fact that it does its job well. The freezer is different than others and can go up to -32 with the super frost is amazing.

My name is Pracheta and my details will be found in Vijay Sales Panvel, as well as in Liebherr customer service. Please note buying Liebherr refrigerator has been my worst experience with an electrical appliance bought ever. This is the first time we bought a Liebherr product with a lot of expectations. Within a 6-7 months use, we have had issues with extreme cooling, water leakage from fridge - leading to health & sanitation issues of my family. My family has also suffered from food poisoning due to spoilt food and erratic cooling conditions of the fridge. There used to be continuous water leakage inside the fridge spoiling all raw vegetables, masalas and also cooked food. There were times, when there was no cooling and sometimes extreme cooling. After logging a complaint for the first time with customer care on 23rd July **, a technician came within 2 days and mentioned that the issue needs to be checked and updated to head office for resolution. A second round of at least 10 follow ups thought 3 weeks, Arun ** obliged and assured that fridge will be replaced. This promise also seemed empty as it took more than a week and a series of follow ups to replace the fridge. Now finally after the packed fridge has arrived, my family has to go through another series of waiting for installation. Finally today I have a packed fridge + old fridge gone - with practically no fridge to use and another long wait for a technician to install. Engineers do not work after 6pm, but Liebherr is ok to have a customer have the worst experience since a month. We bought the Liebherr when we were renovating our kitchen in 2009. I just opened the site to see how to make the freezer stop beeping. I was not surprised to see that we experienced just about every complaint in the recent postings. We had the second authorized repairman 8 times. I could not find the paperwork for the first repairman. Our first complaint when the refrigerator arrived was the pokey ice production. Our dealer contacted Liebherr and was told that Europeans dont use as much ice as Americans. That was a stunning reply since I bought in the US. Then we started having constant problems with the French doors closing. We had many visits from the first repairman, after which the second repairman , who seemed more knowledgeable, repaired the doors. We had to have the suction trim replaced. We also had a problem with the back of the refrigerator freezing, clogging the drain. The two drawers filled with water and the fresh produce kept freezing. The refrigerator has been a huge disappointment. From our experience, I would never recommend this refrigerator. My husband & I recall our parents having the same refrigerator for our entire childhoods. Those days are surely long gone.

Liebherr having the best quality refrigerator available in market. Build quality is so good. I bought 346 ltr ref. This model is having some unique feature like ice twist, cool pack. The top most feature is spice boxes which make it different from other brand. We can store spices also in this refrigerator. Top quality material is used to make this ref.

I have purchased the Liebherr 346 ltr double door fridge from Croma Mumbai (based on their recommendation) on 2.8.19. As I have full respect of German Engineering, I purchased it. The fridge was working fine but since mid Dec 2019 (ie. after only 3.5 months) the trouble started. I have not changed any control yet the freezer started forming frost (in a frost free refrigerator). Above all the bottom chamber stopped cooling (for which I had to throw away lots of expensive food items).Technician came and said that due to ice formation the fan on the bottom food section stopped and hence it was not cooling. He used a blower to melt the ice blocking the fan (perhaps) and adjusted temperature and fridge started working, but the food section was not cooling that well it used to. Today I have raised yet another complaint as the bottom food section stopped cooling again and upper freezer section is forming frost and ice as usual. I dont know when I will come out of this ordeal.... What an excellent German Technology I got!!! Not. I am waiting for the technician to visit me, till then I go for another round of expensive food waste.... Cheers!

As you know if youre reading this a Liebherr Refrigerator costs as much as a decent used car. For that kind of money youd think you would get quality. Youd think if something breaks there would be a repair network for it. Youd think the customer service people would try to help. Youd be dead wrong on all counts. I have had a Liebherr refrigerator freezer that has been a continual nightmare. The icemaker has been broken almost since we installed the appliance. Weve given up on that after endlessly trying to get it fixed. Now the freezer is not working. For the past three weeks we have had no freezer. I cannot get a repair person out here. I live in a major west-coast metro area. I could understand that it would be hard to get a repair if I were in some remote location, but that is not the case. Of the repair people Liebherr recommended only one would respond. They came out, pulled the unit out of its cabinet, damaging the veneer in the process. Took the back off and decided that another person would have to come out and look at it. For this they billed me $160. After a week, I called and was told they couldnt deal with it. I had the credit card company stop payment and were still trying to resolve that. Second person was from about 50 miles away and would only come out if I agreed to pay him $300. Cash only, no checks, no credit card. I agreed because I need a freezer. He did nothing. Ran some diagnostics. Told me I needed two parts and he would only come back if I paid him another $300. Cash. And Id have to get the parts. These are the best people Liebherr could recommend. This is so sleazy that it borders on criminal. I decided Id had enough with Liebherr and went shopping for a replacement unit thinking Id be better off just cutting my losses at this stage. As it happened the local rep was in the store when I was there. He told me hed work to get it straightened out. So, several days later repairman number 3 shows up. He takes the freezer apart and decides he cant do anything and anyway, hes going on vacation for two weeks so hell get back to me. I have spent untold hours on the phone with these people. I have dealt with three of their repair people. The only thing I have to show for it is a $300 cash payment to one of them and a credit card battle with the other. My freezer is still not functional. My icemaker has never worked. You would be out of your mind to buy a Liebherr anything.

I was aware of the brand Liebherr. Came across the brand had launched refrigerator here in India since few years. I had got good review from a friend of mine and finally got one. Good refrigerator great space, quality. Loved the product.

We are a couple of seniors and easy on our appliances. We paid a lot of money ($4,706.31) in 2009 for French doors, 2 freezer drawer model Liebherr refrigerator. We loved the look and features showing in and out. Within a few short months, the insides’ starting falling apart. The drawer tracks kept falling off and the milk shelf restraints broke loose. Just five years later, just after the warranty was done, the inside of the refrigerator part started freezing up and frost formed all over the back wall. We hassled back and forth with Customer Service and they finally agreed to send us a part (Evap Motor). We had to pay to have it installed. Now we have it set at 40 degrees, and it still freezes some foods. I am so unhappy with this product and would not recommend it to anyone.

Built quality and the design is an extraordinary when compare to other brands.. I bought Liebherr tcss2620 in the year of 2018.. from harsha electronics Mangalore. Working good and the flat design is very attractive. Will definitely give your kitchen a premium look, when comparing other brands it quite expensive but worth the money you are going to pay. Shelfs are easily adjustable and made my routine easier.. Loved this refrigerator. If you guys are planning to buy a refrigerator 200% you can go for liebherr and its a German originated company and also I would suggest my friends and family, thank you liebherr.

Im seeing all of these horrific reviews and I can only assume that theyre either written by competitors or people who have just had really bad luck. I had a 24 Liebherr in my last place that I bought new and lived with for 5 years until I sold my condo. Ive since moved into a house that happened to have a full-sized integrated Liebherr installed. According to the serial number sticker its almost 10 years old now and is still perfect, silent, and a pleasure to live with. Liebherr has meticulous records on all of its past products so they were able to give this appliances complete history.Apparently in the first year the previous owners had a couple of small issues at the start (a drawer was cracked and the display had a fault) but since then nothing. I dont have any vested interest in Liebherr other than the fact that as an architect I like to specify quality products in my designs and its frustrating to me that so many people take it upon themselves to dump on something and so few ever give positive reports. So heres one at least. (or two, since I can attest for two fridges, and am sort of a repeat customer.)

I dont know where to begin! 7 weeks ago, after one year of no problems, the ice maker quit working. I noticed frost on the back interior wall of the refrigerator from day one. Also, the left fridge door quit closing by itself. Called & got a guy named ** who sounded stupid and evasive, but apparently could diagnose it from South Carolina, because after making me fax a copy of the receipt to prove we bought it (what!!!???) and I called back to check on fax & service, the female I spoke with told me hed ordered a part and it was being sent to our service person here. I assumed it must be a regular problem for him to be able to diagnose. It was a new ice tray. Service guy came up and installed it and told us ** said it had a crack. Nope. I could have told him that. Also ** was rude. He told me that my Machine didnt have doors that closed. The next person said door needed a new hinge cartridge. Yet another person said my ice problem was a little 1/2 inch magnet on the drawer. LOL! Service guy was not issued a work order to diagnose the freezer or fridge. So he didnt because his experience was he would not get paid by this company. In fact a LOT of phone calls only to be met with complete resistance. A tech person who had to flip through a repair pamphlet to tell us what buttons to push. HE kept telling me my ice maker was leaking. NO it wasnt!!! Can you see Hawaii from South Carolina?? Awful service people and I think they are paid to make the customer wait it out as long as possible, diagnosing tiny little problems and sending useless parts to placate us. Still no service person - no ice, no resolving the issue. Seven weeks and counting. I think if the hinge cartridge ever arrives, the service person here (who is excellent) will be allowed to diagnose it at that point, but no coming out to do just one thing. So now my food in fridge is starting to freeze and Im just counting the days until someone comes up here. I will NEVER buy a Liebherr product again and I urge anyone researching one to read all of the reviews. They are all the same lesson!

The fridge has given me good service. Months ago water dripped into the icemaker drawer creating blocks of ice. I took out the ice making tray to find that a corner of the plastic broke off permitting water to drip into the ice cube drawer. This plastic extruded part is 3 inches by 7 inches and produces 10 small ice cubes. I was given a price of $220.00 + taxes to replace. Since the freezer section is small I purchased a 5.1 ft3 separate Danby freezer 4 years ago to compensate. This entire freezer cost $199.00. Spare parts are always expensive but this is more than excessive. Very disappointed being held hostage to this practice. Wrote to LIEBHERR in the US and have received no response.

Starts from High quality with good looks. Using LIEBHERR refrigerator for last 1 year and found myself completely satisfied with the product. If anyone looking for value of money in fridge segment should go undoubtedly with LIEBHERR. Only brand using 8 speed inverter compressor in this segment. Large vegetable box & sorting system makes it more convenient to put veggies and fruits separately in same basket. Elegant hard line door handle, Door alarm, moon cut toughened shelves are some of things which makes it more premium. Personally I recommend LIEBHERR refrigerator.

Overall like the unit even though the ice maker failed shortly after warranty and the freezer drawers easily fall out and break if not paying close attention.

Four years ago, I bought a Liebherr wine cooler and refrigerator. The wine cooler died as soon as the warrant expired. Liebherr referred me to an appliance repair that is authorized to repair Liebherr products. The guy who showed up had no clue. He was on the phone talking to somebody in the office, getting instructions. Finally he gave up and told me that they will be in touch. After waiting for two days, since my wine was about to go bad, I was forced to buy another Liebherr wine cooler because it was a built in unit and I had no choice.During the recent hurricane, Sandy, the power went out in my apartment. I turned the fridge off. When the power came back on, the fridge did not. The light was on but the compressor was not. I called Liebherr despite the fact that the compressor did not go on ( the compressor warranty is 5 years, so it is under warranty)! They said that since it is no longer under warranty, I should contact their authorized service centers. They gave me 3 options. The one that fixed my wine cooler was not one of them.I called the first one but they were not authorized to work on compressors. The second one came a day later and his diagnosis was that it might be the compressor but maybe not, maybe it is the inverter. It took 5 days to order the inverter which will arrive in 3 days. I will be without a fridge for 3 weeks by then. If it is not the inverter, the service guy has to get authorization from Liebherr to order the compressor. I called Liebherr to find out how long will it take to get an authorization and get a compressor. The guy yelled at me and told me that I am asking a stupid question and he cannot estimate how long it will take. I left a VM for his supervisor, Josh, but he has not called back.Do I rent a fridge? Buy a fridge? Whatever I do, how do I tell people not to buy a Liebherr product unless you enjoy replacing them every 2-4 years?

@3500 each for a 24 counter depth freezer and ref (HF 861), my client could have gotten a used GE or LG Freezer. The weather stripping is coming off for the second time, Icemaker has never worked. We (after a full replacement) and their customer service line is dreadful, each time I call they want me to try a new troubleshooting step. Liebherr just changed their policy on repairs so no more guarantee on their products. Save yourself time and money and buy literally any other brand.

I had purchased the Liebherr fridge on August -2020 and since yesterday I am facing cooling issue. I had called customer care and their mechanic visited but in vain and informed me that there is a gas leakage and it can only repaired by Monday. I am surprised and asked him that in Mumbai you are taking 5 days to just to fill the gas, What we should do in this case. I requested lot of times but I didnt got any response... SUCH A POOR SERVICE and Quality of Fridge is very bad.. I suggest not to take this fridge.

Our experience with Liebherr Refrigerator has been appalling to say the least. We moved into our new house in 2004 and I would think on average the fridge has broken down every three years. The temperature dial for the fridge keeps going haywire. And of course it is always just out of warranty when this happens. Its cost us a small fortune getting it repaired and not to mention the really stressful situations this causes when it happens again and again. I find the suppliers/service people here in Ireland totally inadequate in their response. I dont think once I got an apology from them for all the stress their product has caused. I would not touch any Liebherr product ever again and would advise anybody to run a million miles from them also.

We wanted to love this fridge and we trusted the fact that it was a German. We have the 36 French door fridge and it is just an expensive piece of junk. It first broke about a year after purchase. First it was the ice maker, then the freezer stopped working and with time the fridge doors stopped closing properly. Even the rubber band around the door broke and the cables came out. The sensor beeps at random times, even in the middle of the night and we have to turn it off since the doors are actually closed and it is beeping for nothing. I have never seen anything like this! We tried repairing it twice but whatever they repaired broke again. All other appliances purchased around the same time work perfectly well. We have a German friend who purchased one too around the same time as us and he is experiencing the same problems. He is even more disappointed as he grew up thinking his countrys appliances were the best.After reading soo many similar experiences in the web we concluded that this company doesnt care about the quality of their fridges enough to address these problems. They make heavy duty equipment and other things that are not appliances and this could be just a small part of their revenue. Who knows why they are not addressing their customers complaints... What I know is that I have to throw away my fridge and buy a new one (some other brand) since spending more money in repairing is just not worth it.

I bought a Liebherr refrigerator - CNes 4003, Index 20/001 in April 2009 and after almost 4 years, I found out that I should throw it away since the insulation at the back was destroyed and it could not be fixed. Obviously, this was the last thing I would expect to hear since I had bought this appliance for 1200 euros at the time from a trustworthy & reliable brand in order to ensure peace of mind. Luckily, my high expectations were not turned down. The customer service in Germany has confronted my case with great professionalism and in a timely manner and I was offered to exchange my appliance with a new one with similar characteristics with my refrigerator and free of charge although the warranty had expired long ago. I promised them to acknowledge their response and professionalism since I believe that apart from complaints, we should also share positive experiences and give credit to the people who are able to listen customers voice & respond with efficiency to fair requests. The last time that happened, in January 2021, I was no longer able to resurrect the IceMaker. So I called a Technical Service, the next day a technician came, made a series of checks and determined that the fault was in the electronic board that did not give voltage to the mini-pump that supplied water to the ice bucket. As I am trained in industrial electronics, I disassembled that board, and made a magnifying glass inspection. The board appeared to be fine, with SMD components, and no components were burned. It was also varnished which made it resist moisture well. The technician sent me a budget amounting to € 250. This was not an exorbitant price to change a plate at home, but at a glance, that plate did not cost more than € 80 COST. It is already known that later prices increase with transport, working hours, travel, etc. (they charge between € 50 and € 60 per hour). What I already questioned was if the problem was with the plate. I then called another Official Service recommended by Liebherr. That technician started looking at the upper reservoir, as he said he doubted the plate was to blame. Looking a little over that reservoir (which includes the mini-pump), he determined that it needed to be replaced. He budgeted me € 425 for the repair, since to replace that tank the refrigerator had to be removed - it is paneled - between two technicians and therefore the labor became more expensive. As I am quite skilled, I disassembled the tank myself (which the technician did not do), removed the pump, disassembled it and saw that the little motor, which does not cost even 3 € in China, had the shaft stuck. I unhooked it and reassembled the pump. I mounted the tank, and the Ice Maker worked again. Seeing the reference of the mini-pump, searching the Internet, it appeared that it was made in China (of course) AND IT COSTS € 16. In other words, the Technical Service should know that replacing the € 16 pump does not require more than half an hour, it is not necessary to remove the refrigerator, and it would have cost me about € 150 instead of € 425. So it seems that the seminars of Training of these technicians leaves much to be desired.

The ice maker on my Liebherr fridge stopped working a few weeks ago. The technician from Electra the agent for Liebherr in Israel diagnosed the problem and told me that for the parts and labor it would cost NIS2000 ($600) to do the repair work. I wrote an email to Liebherr Germany to tell them that I had sourced the same parts from their distributor in Holland at 50% of the price quoted in Israel. Germany sent a mail to Electra the Israel distributor and a few days later Electra called me to say that they would reduce the price of the parts to NIS1470 ($400). I subsequently brought the parts from Holland and had my own fridge mechanic do the repairs. Bought an expensive Liebherr fridgefreezer in September 2016 which failed whilst we were on holiday 10 months later. So contents ruined and no compensation from Liebherr or Appliance City who we purchased it from. Independent engineer was sent to diagnose problem and was told twice by Liebherr to regas it, even though it was leaking! Surely dangerous and not going to solve the problem at all! So the nice engineer wrote off the fridgefreezer and we have spent 3 weeks trying to get a replacement under the warranty.Many, many phone calls and emails were needed to chase Liebherr and Appliance City. Neither of them would take responsibility for changing it, both trying to delay as much as possible and telling blatant lies about not having it in stock and exceedingly delayed delivery of another month before they could get one to us in the hope we gave up chasing it. New one just arrived... Will have to see how long it lasts! Great style and massive capacity though.

The worst purchase I have ever made. I write to advise consumers to avoid Liebherr fridge freezers at all costs. I purchased a Liebherr fridge for my daughter in October 2016 and my daughter has been experiencing problems ever since. The fridge had never run at the proper temperature. The temperature is never constant and is always below 38F, it is closer to 50 and lower. We have been told that there is nothing wrong with the fridge. Now we have been told to keep the fridge-freezer at the highest setting at all times! The company refuses to accept the fridge-freezer is faulty. My daughter is therefore stuck with a malfunctioning fridge that is unlikely to last much beyond its 2-year guarantee.

I have owned a Liebherr fridge since 2012. The refrigeration has generally been good. Temperature is maintained in both compartments. The main issues, and there have been many, are structural as well as electronic. The plastic shelves have cracked as have the freezer bins. The ice maker fell apart and had to be replaced..The tracks on the two freezer drawers often get stuck. The main control panel had to be replaced. The unit beeps constantly and no one has had a solution. I have had to spend over $2000 on service calls and parts replacements. Buyer beware!

I am using Liebherr 220 Liters fridge since 8 Months, its working condition is simply Excellent. Faster cooling. Thick door Quality. Bigger vegetable box is very useful to us. I saw in other brands vegetable box is very small for storage. Easy to adjust. The shelfs are good.

CS1311CS1360/07011/7084638 - 00. One shelf on the door broke off after 3 months. The butter compartment broke as well. Now the actual handle on the refrigerator door broke off completely and there were 4 plastic parts scattered on the floor! Were I a very strong woman I might have thought I opened the door too quickly or carelessly. I have always had little arm strength and am frequently called delicate! I am blamed repeatedly for every issue. Having owned 2 extra large SubZero refrigerators in my former home and had no problems with either one, I know it is not me that is making this happen.

Ice accumulating at bottom of 7353 freezer unit. Electra the local distributor refuses to assist and/or provide advice what to do before calling a technician which costs around 65$ before parts. The rep says: We do not provide any support on the phone. If you have a question you must schedule a technician and pay for it. Terrible attitude and support. Plastic drawers easily fall out and break and plastic handle parts that break. Will never buy one again.

Beginning in year 5 our expensive built in Liebherr started to have problem after problem. Many of the appliance service companies recommended by Liebherr wouldnt service the fridge, or came out once and refused to come back for the next problem. By phone, Liebherr was not at all helpful. After 6 weeks of frustration I found their FB page and posted my complaints. Their Social media team was very helpful, got a service supervisor to call with a recommendation... An appliance service company that said they didnt service fridges!! However they recommended an individual who did fix things. Go to Social media for help with Liebherr.

Product is good with good cooling, door is hard to open. Once closing the door and try to open, one should hold the refrigerator and door handle to pull. I trying to open just with handle the refrigerator shakes by changing the position and food inside will shake and fall or spill.

The 24 Liebherr refrigerator that came with the apartment I purchased is a piece of junk! It was just about 5 years old when the original owner paid over $600 in repair costs over 2 repair visits... Just a few months later I needed to replace the sensor for another $500. Now it is only 2 months later and once again the refrigerator is not maintaining cold temperature. I refuse to put another nickel into this terrible appliance and will have to replace it. Liebherr service was not at all accommodating! All they were willing to do was give me the names of authorized service companies which charge $200 just to walk in the door.

We bought a Liebherr split door refrigerator/freezer (2 drawers) about 8 years ago. Nothing but a headache. The fridge is fine but the ice maker function has been impossible. It was replaced about 6 times in the first couple of years. Now it is broken and impossible to get the parts needed to fix it. The glass shelf on the left door just fell and broke on its own. Service for these units is difficult to find, expensive, and replacement parts seem nonexistent. Purchase a fridge that can be serviced and maintained more easily. Expensive appliance that is nearly impossible to fix.

We paid over 1200 for the stainless steel Liebherr Fridge Freezer. What a BIG MISTAKE! We have had problems from the very start. The lights did not work then the door would not shut properly. A year after purchase the ice kept collecting and the fan made a horrendous grating sound. We have had the engineer over at least 5 to 6 times since we bought the beast! And at what a cost. It is outside the guarantee and warranty period and now constantly the Alarm keeps going off in the Ice compartment. I have to try and press the fast freeze or the Alarm buttons constantly to stop the horrible sound! Interrupted sleep every night! NEVER EVER WILL WE RECOMMEND OR BUY LIEBHERR! A WASTE OF MONEY AND UTTERLY USELESS! We had a Westinghouse before that for many many years...The only trouble we had was the light bulb change once! Eventually got tired with it and changed to Liebherr! WHAT AN EXPENSIVE ERROR! Please dont ever make the mistake that we have. The constant call outs have cost an arm and a leg! AND Liebherr....Customer service!! not sure why they call it that ....WHAT SERVICE #? They dont give a damn. Only want to make money by sending out expensive engineers who will rip you off and the problem reoccurs after a while.

Style-wise it is good compared to other brands and performance is also very good compared to my old fridge. Everything stay fresh for long time by eco fresh technology and I 100% recommend to whoever looking to buy new refrigerator.

The Liebherr Refrigerator water drain on the back of the fridge that is located in the non freezer section midway down the vertical fridge is not allowing the water to drain down. I have to extract the collected water by using a syringe to draw water I can every day. The fridge works fine but there are constant beepings, even when the door is closed. Today I took out the plastic trays and one had frost build up that I had to wash the frozen ice off with hot water. A service man came over a year ago and fixed the draining matter but it has returned. Any advice? Otherwise the fridge works well.

I bought the new Liebherr refrigerator in Mumbai. Living with my husband and we are a family of 2. We bought the Liebherr TCR2640 from Vijay Sales Navi Mumbai. Its been a month of use and we are delighted to have taken the decision of buying it. Its vegetable sorter system and spice box is something no other fridge was offering to me, I needed space for my masalas and I needed space for my veggies since I love cooking. They really understood the practical needs of using the refrigerator which is why we bought it. The service was quick and we certainly had an easy installation. Did I mention the red color looks nice and different. Go for it if you want space. Its your best decision.

We recently bought the Liebherr TCb2640 which eases the use of our storage as a family of 2. The spice box has been helpful to make life easy in storing spices and so has the vegetable sorter system. Its compact design and the the size fits in the space and kitchen. The shelves are easy to adjust making some space at the last minute enables it to double up the ease to store more. The installation took place in short duration of time and serviced well by the engineer. I thoroughly recommend the same if youre looking for a compact refrigerator with fully added features.

After several visits from the official Dutch Liebherr repair service, Liebherr gave up on its own product! This top of the line Liebherr 3967-A20 RVS only lasted its Very limited warranty of 2 Years. This refrigerator listed at 3299 Euros in 2008. So after 4 visits the official Liebherr service person gave up and declared this unit not repairable. So I expected that a company like Liebherr would not hesitate to rectify the situation. So Liebherr replied that although the situation was extremely regrettable that the best that Liebherr could do was to Sell Me a new refrigerator at a reduced price. So how much you ask? CBNPes3967 for 1083,32 incl. BTW, for those of you outside of Holland thats 1083.32 Euro including VAT.Naturally, I told them that that would be completely unacceptable. Just imagine buying a very expensive refrigerator and have it fail only to make the same mistake again with a company that does not guarantee its products sufficiently. I then turned to Liebherr Germany to hopefully find someone to take responsibility for the sale of this faulty product. Well as you can imagine, I did not find anyone that was willing to do anything more than try and sell me another one of their products. Watch out people! OH theres more! Several other people bought this brand only to regret it later, see for yourself.

I shamefully admit I bought 2 Liebherr fridges in 2009 and 2010. One SBS 7053 and one SBSes 7353 within one year of the other for two separate custom fitted kitchens. Both have had door handles fall off, door seals go rotten, leaking, clogged up drain bucket at the back (how am I supposed to reach that???) ice makers both broken and now both have broken down on the BioFresh/wine fridge sides affecting the freezer. If what I am reading all over the internet is true Liebherr has been selling and ignoring customers all over the world whose refrigerators have all had the same problems. How can they get away with it? It isnt as if this was a bargain fridge that you bought for $500 and can now throw out. Can anyone say class action?

We bought our Liebherr 8 years ago. We have had nothing but problems since the very beginning. In less than a year, shelves break, the gaskets rips apart, the shelves in the doors cant withstand normal use, the ice maker works intermittently, etc. Weve had a repairman out at least once every year and a half. Currently, we get ice build-up on the bottom of the freezer. Now our fridge will not work at all. Given the price point, I expected so much more. I never had problems with my cheaper appliance! My warning to you - dont buy it!

LIEBHERR 265 new brand fridge purchased in Jan month 2019 which has problem in freezer and full ice cubes on the walls and water bubbles on wall and fail in testing for second time. Moreover it is getting ice cubes on the fruits and vegetables. My experience is very bad. As of now from the company side they it replaced and will get new, however it is not confirmed that we get issues after one year, so please be careful while purchasing new brands. We spend 28000 rupees but not satisfy and total waste of time.

The quantities can be stored and preserved from being rotten. It is spacious to store things. It contains a very good freezer in it and it is maintained at stable temperature. I love this refrigerator. It remains new even after years of buying it.

I am the unhappy owner of a Liebherr KGT-4066 refrigerator. I bought the appliance in April of 2000 for 1300 euros thinking that I bought a first rate fridge with two motors that would last for many years. Almost immediately, the problems started. First, it was a minor problem with the thermostat, and I didnt mind so much the money the authorized technician charged me. Alas, it was only the beginning. In the years that followed, many plastic parts of the interior (drawers, baskets, trays) broke and had to be replaced, with considerable cost. Most importantly, the door seal had cracks almost from the second year but when I asked the authorized technician to replace it, he answered that it meant to replace the whole door, which cost 250 Euros! So I never replaced it. To make a long story short, although the motor still works fine, I use shelves from my old fridge and I cannot store a single bottle of water on the door shelves since there is no remaining plastic hook to hang them on. I would never recommend this fridge to anyone. It was an expensive fridge with cheap, defective plastic parts.

I purchased 365 liter capacity LIEBHERR Refrigerator in 1st week of March 2022. Service was good. Product has solid good quality build. Cooling effect is very good. Its noiseless. Compared it with other good brands available in market at different dealer shops and come across it at Tata Croma & Vijayasales. After seeing it physically & comparing it with other brands decided to go for it. Though one month is too early to comment on performance, so far we are satisfied. Also my neighbours & friends saw it and they too found it better in most of the aspects as compare to the refrigerator they have.

I purchased 2 machines (CBN 3913 and CN 4003) in Sept 2011 and they were installed in a completely renovated kitchen in Oct 2011. CBN 3913 broke down on June 17th 2014. I contacted the service immediately and got someone to see it on June 25th (the earliest possibility for them). The mechanic said the machine is beyond repair and a few days later at the end of June it was agreed that I would get a new machine at the cost of the work. I have tried to enquire a couple of times with no response. I have been in readiness for my entire vacation to let the refrigerator be installed. The heat of July has caused a lot of inconvenience with the refrigerator missing. I wonder if I will have to wait for the other one to break down and get some cheaper and longer lasting machinery instead.

I think new brand wired but product after service but after sales and service good, product also excellent, this is my 2nd fridge compare with my old fridge. We bought our Liebherr refrigerator freezer when we built our home in 2012. It was a very expensive refrigerator that we thought would complement our high end kitchen well. We had this refrigerator “built in” with a cabinet exterior. Needless to say this refrigerator has been nothing but problems almost from day one. The ice maker when it did work produced only about a dozen of the tiniest little ice cubes about every 24 hours which is not even remotely the amount we use on a daily basis. We had technicians out several times to try to improve production but it never helped. We ended up disconnecting the ice maker years ago as it was more trouble than it was worth.We have since been struggling with the two lower freezer compartments that barely keep items even half frozen. If you put ice cream in it you will have a soupy mess. The freezer alarm goes off constantly to let you know the freezer compartments are not at freezer temperature which usually occurs in the middle of the night or when we have come back from a few days away. We have finally made the decision to do full research on a replacement refrigerator freezer and pull the plug literally on our Liebherr. It is not worth the trouble any longer, unfortunately it was a built-in model so it may be a little difficult to find a close fit. My advice to anyone is avoid purchasing a Liebherr refrigerator.

I paid $2800 for a 24 refrigerator and was told theyre comparable to Thermador. What a JOKE. Im stuck with a crap unit which hasnt worked for a single day and they wanna try to REPAIR IT!!! Ice maker has never worked. The drain in fridge is always clogged causing smelly back-up. Water runs down the back of fridge causing everything to be wet inside. All the labels even fell off our beer bottles from always being wet. Also, fridge not cold enough. The freezer stopped working while we were on vacay and when they finally came to fix it, now the fridge is broken too after they left. Thank goodness for my very cheap Frigidaire brand fridge in the garage. It works and saved our food from spoiling again. DO NOT EVER BUY A LIEBHERR refrigerator. You will be sorry.

Stay far away from this mess.Im the unlucky guy who was sold a bag of goods from kitchen designer regarding the Liebherr C-1650 refrigerator, freezer with ice maker. I bought eight of them in 2009 and I could have bought two very nice new cars at that time for the same price. They are EXTREMELY expensive, horribly constructed appliances. Its beyond belief how horrible they are. My maintenance man recently said, a person could live off what you spend on repairs for those refrigerators. In nine years each ice maker has been replaced at least three times! There are constantly issues. Theres one now that has a brand new ice maker in it that we cant get to produce ice for six months now.

I was bought in last year, but till date something happened in my fridge (ex. Vegetables spoiled). I approached for services, but their services are not good. After 1 year waranty expired, now I am asking for same issues in my fridge, but they told charges applicable. In waranty time they are not solve this problem in corona lockdown period. Till they want charges. So Products and services are very bad.

The 24 cannot keep a steady temp. The back wall of the No Frost freezer is thick with ice and its alarm beeps throughout the night (need to wake every 3 hours) but this is not all. Yesterday as I tried to nudge a recalcitrant freezer drawer in place with a small push, the under separation panel (made in glass!!!) jumped out to hit me and land on the floor to shatter in thousand pieces... A repair man came today and had the nerve to scold me about being too rough with the drawer. Its very sensitive you must be very careful!!! (I am in Spain where I guess they dont know about quality fridges.) Oh ya, a real beauty!

I had friends and relatives who spoke quite highly of Liebherr. And because I trust their judgment, I decided to heed their recommendation. And Im so very glad that I did, because my experience with Liebherr has been nothing short of wonderful so far. Spacious freezer, output design, compact, portable and ease of use is off the charts. Indeed, most of the features are satisfactory. Theres VarioSafe room to store all of the cheeses, cold cuts, milk packs etc. That we consume as a family. Thats obviously a very convenience. One more feature, Spice boxes system is very useful for my masala storage. First time I got, Vegetable sorting system, this is very good helpful for my Vegetable storage.

Model HC 2062, purchased in 2012, is a nice size, double doors, 2 freezer doors below, overall a nice design. We first became annoyed when the ice maker would not keep up with demand. Just after the 2-year warranty expired, the guts of the ice maker fell into the ice tray. $250 for replacement parts & labor (10 minutes). The explanation of what caused the damage is unbelievable. If you happen to open the freezer drawer when the ice reader is engaged, you can pull the guts out, which is exactly what happened. The air filter light has been on for 9 months, but its totally inaccessible unless you are good at lying on the floor and holding a screwdriver with your teeth. High-price fridge for inducing a regular headache.

I have bought several Liebherr refrigerators, including two model 1360s. Both have had sealed unit problems that have prevented the units from cooling. Each time, I have had to call service people recommended by the national Liebherr office in Arizona. Each time it has taken weeks to get service and several times the service people do not show up. When they do, they say that it is a sealed system issue and that they cannot fix it. Then, I get another service recommendation from the Arizona office-- someone supposedly qualified to service a sealed system. And, ultimately, usually after several additional weeks or even months, the next service company comes out to see the unit and also notes that it is a sealed system problem, that Liebherr will not authorize them to service and that the unit must be replaced. Then, with the unit still under warranty, Liebherr ultimately calls someone to replace the unit, but this again takes months. I have dealt with 5 different service companies on these refrigerators, all of whom have expressed frustration with the Liebherr process. When I had my latest issue with a Liebherr 1360, two of the companies I had dealt with previously, including the company that replaced the last 1360, said that they will not do Liebherr work anymore and refused to come out. These two companies were still on the list of contractors recommended by the Liebherr Arizona office. This is a bad refrigerator with obvious design problems and the Liebherr repair and warranty network is extremely slow and frustrating to deal with. It seems that the strategy is always to require someone additional to come out to look at the unit while not authorizing anyone to do a repair on some defective component of the sealed compressor system. Stay away from Liebherr.

We have a 36 double door - double freezer drawer model and love it. Recently, we purchased a 24 model and hate it! The 24 model looks great and is a conversation piece - until the compressor kicks in. You can not believe the sound! The factory authorized a guy to come down and listen to it - then they replaced the compressor. It is still noisy. They came back and told me thats just the way it is. Since they deemed that the noise is normal (its just as noisy now as it was with the original compressor), Liebherr will not pay the service contractor for his efforts! I am so disappointed with this company. I could yell. How can this smaller unit sound like an airplane taking off when the compressor kicks on, yet the large unit we own is nice and quiet? Definitely a design problem!

The quality is very good... The freezer has a nice space.. You can freeze more things at a time... I have purchased it in last year Oct 2019. Compact and sturdy build quality, Good cooling effect, low noise, wide range in-built stabilizer. No need to put any stand below the fridge. Leg size is sufficient to clean the floor below, Compressor seems to be of good quality. Low cost compared to similar other brands.

I have a single door model, cs 1301, 5 yrs. old. Recently the freezer temp. became erratic and the alarm kept going off. Our food was not affected and stayed frozen. A week ago, a service tech found a build up of ice behind the panel that is behind the freezer drawers. He was able to remove the ice and the freezer seemed OK. However the temps. continue to jump up and down and sometimes the alarm triggers at temps of 6 or 11 above. The call cost $190.I reported the temperature readings to the service who reported back with a quote of $600 to replace the freezer components. I do not know how to proceed at this point: the problem needs to be corrected but I will be nearing $1000 in service calls. Do I buy a new refrigerator or put more money into the current one? This Liebherr model is the only refrig I know of that fits the space in my small kitchen.
