Performance 15

The Comfortmaker Performance 15 Heat Pump is a residential heating and cooling system designed to provide efficient and reliable performance. Here are some key features and information about the Comfortmaker Performance 15 Heat Pump:

Energy efficiency: The Performance 15 Heat Pump offers energy-efficient performance with a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) rating of up to 15.5. This means it can effectively cool your home while minimizing energy consumption and reducing operating costs.

Heating and cooling capabilities: The Comfortmaker Performance 15 Heat Pump can both heat and cool your home. It uses a refrigeration cycle to extract heat from the outdoor air and transfer it inside during colder periods, while providing cooling during warmer months.

Single-stage operation: This heat pump operates in a single-stage, which means it runs at a fixed capacity. While it offers reliable performance, it does not provide the same level of temperature control or energy efficiency as two-stage or variable-speed heat pumps.

Sound-reducing features: To minimize operating noise, the Performance 15 Heat Pump includes features such as a compressor sound blanket and a swept-wing fan blade. These components help reduce sound levels, contributing to a quieter indoor environment.

Durability and reliability: Comfortmaker is known for manufacturing durable and reliable HVAC equipment. The Performance 15 Heat Pump is built with quality materials and undergoes rigorous testing to ensure long-lasting performance and reliability.

Compatibility with other systems: The Performance 15 Heat Pump can be paired with various Comfortmaker products, such as gas furnaces, air handlers, and indoor air quality systems. This allows for enhanced system integration and improved overall comfort and efficiency.

Warranty: Comfortmaker typically offers a limited warranty for their heat pumps, which may vary depending on the specific model and region. It's important to review the warranty terms and conditions provided by the manufacturer or consult with an authorized Comfortmaker dealer for accurate and up-to-date information regarding warranty coverage.

Please note that specific details about the Comfortmaker Performance 15 Heat Pump, including technical specifications and additional features, may be subject to change or vary depending on the model and version. The Performance N4A7 is a reliable cooling system that’s at once affordable and long-lasting, and it has many features that protect the unit from wear and tear, corrosion, debris, and other factors that could cause problems. This is also a very economical air conditioner, and even though it doesn’t have a lot of extra features or technologies, it will ensure your home is comfortable all summer long, no matter what the weather throws at it.

The Tempstar TVA9 and Comfortmaker CVA9 have variable-capacity compressors
The Tempstar TVA9 and Comfortmaker CVA9 have variable-capacity compressors with 5 levels of operation. These are also called variable-speed compressors, since the compressor uses rotary technology and speeds up to deliver more air conditioning or slows down for less. Variable-speed models from most other brands have “infinite” levels of operation between 40% and 100% capacity. You’ll notice little difference in cooling consistency with a 5-speed vs. an infinite-speed model, and the cost of these units is slightly less.

This is one of the brands from INTERNATIONAL COMFORT PRODUCTS which is a part of UNITED TECHNOLOGIES CORP. The PERFORMANCE 14 (N4A5) units are basic air conditioners with a durable powder coat finish but they use a wire coil guard to protect the condenser coil fins which does not actually do much to protect them. The units have a 14 SEER efficiency to meet all of the regional standards but their guarantee is not very good when compared to other brands. The SOFTSOUND DELUXE 19 (CCA9) is a premium unit with a variable speed fan motor, swept wing fan blade, and compressor blanket for quiet operation. They have a good guarantee but it is only average when compared to other brands. The units are sold in the USA and Canada but only through their approved dealer network. comfortmaker.com

A Comfortmaster RPJ II furnace was installed in my house on January 3, 1996. What I like about this furnace is that it has performed flawlessly since I moved into this house in 2009. The only maintenance that has been required is that I change the filters. It was repaired on December 1, 2005 by the previous owner of this house, my father. He kept meticulous records of such things. This house was built in 1955. I am not aware of the make of the previous furnace. I don't know the exact cause of the 2005 malfunction, but the repair went well. I haven't had any problems since I bought the house in 2013. I am part of my gas company's emergency repair insurance program, so I feel confident that I will always have a working furnace. I would recommend the Comfortmaster RPJ II furnace to a friend if they asked me. I am not an expert, but this furnace is reliable.

After getting many different quotes from several different companies in my search to replace my 17 year old system, I finally decided to go with the Comfortmaker brand. Its been two years now, and I couldn't be happier! I went with the variable speed/inverter option for my home. In my search, I read countless reviews from all the top brands out there.. I realized in my search more people will leave a "bad" review rather than a "good" one. Its like when you go out to eat, and have a horrible experience. The first thing you want to do when you get home, is leave a bad review. Same thing applies here. This system pulls so much moisture out of the air! I can leave my thermostat at 77 degrees and 52% humidity and it feels amazing, and that's here in Houston, Texas. The house feels crisp/clean/enjoyable to be in, its a hard feeling to describe, but I'm very happy I went with Comfortmaker brand and the Variable speed full system. If you can afford to go this route, I definitely recommend this option, you'll be amazed and won't regret it at all!

Very very surprised on this system. I had this system installed form a neighborhood contractor I was very skeptical on this system do to I never heard of it. After going through everything with and all the other quotes I ended up having this installed. This system is very quite and helped my energy bills. I have had no issues with this furnace it was installed 1/15/2015. I dont write many reviews but waited 3 years on this review because I wanted to make sure I got something quality. But like my installing company said as long as it is installed correctly I wont have problems with it. Highly recommend it and their ac systems.

Homeowners looking to purchase a ComfortMaker AC unit have a large selection to choose from. Though there are many factors to consider, purchasers should especially focus on an AC unit’s seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER) and/or energy efficiency ratio (EER), depending on the home climate. SEER ratings range from 8-21 and are specific to the cooling power, whereas EER ratings relate to the overall efficiency of the unit. In both cases, the higher numbers mean increased efficiency.
