Love this company! I have put this brand of appliances in two homes and I have had nothing but good luck. Only glitch was handle coming loose on convection oven, which was an easy fix. I purchased the Gallery edition with smudge proof doors which is great....no fingerprints ever.

Purchased a new Frigidaire Gallery Dishwasher. Leaked from Day 1. Frigidaire sent a serviceman to replace the door gaskets. Still leaks. Notified them that it was still leaking. Volunteer Appliance Service who was sent by Frigidaire gave us the run around for weeks then got rude when we could not be available when they wanted to come back to replace the same parts they had already replaced. So Volunteer refused to do the repair and called Frigidaire. So Frigidaire called us to let us know they had VOIDED the warranty on the month old dishwasher and said it would be another 3 weeks or month to have it repaired. They offered NO customer service to us - their customer and defended the rude and inefficient behavior of the repair company. We will never purchase a Frigidaire appliance again and would advise others to choose another brand.

I bought a Frigidaire front load washer, and have had problems right from the start, so we had gotten a extended warranty through Frigidaire, and have had problem after problem (serviced at least 7 times in 3 1/2 years), and told from a Manager at customer service Jennifer that not only will they not replace this lemon of a washer, but are not responsible for the horrible service men they send out to my home, the first one General key Stone tried to lie and say it was something I put in my washer causing the problem to the company, but told me different, and found out from another service man that he just lied cause it was a hard to get to piece he had to replace, and then that service man who came back several times hit a valve and caused my basement to somewhat flood with this rusted water from a old pipe that was not being used, and brand new towels were ruined, along with a throw rug. You also have to wait for the servicemen to come, (and take off from work these days, and pay for wash to be cleaned while waiting), and then wait at least a week or 2 or 3 for the parts, and then another week for the repair Apt. This company is of no help. Do not buy anything from Frigidaire including any service contract. Youre better off just buying a new machine from a good company like Whirlpool. Will never purchase anything from Frigidaire again.

Im writing on behalf of my daughter who is due to give birth any day now and who has waited since January for Frigidaire to make right a product that does not work. In the last four weeks, Ive spent nearly 8 hours on hold BEFORE I could actually talk to someone, and though it has been 8 months, the replacement dishwasher which Frigidaire was supposed to deliver has not been delivered. On two occasions, delivery men have brought out a new dishwasher but then, mysteriously, the new machine was deemed broken in delivery and impossible to install. Ive been instructed to send copies of documents to prove our purchase even though they have record of the fact that she owns it. I am waiting for Frigidaire to deliver a serial tag to me - Im supposed to attach it to a rebate email. I have never received the tag.My belief is that Frigidaire is attempting to get out of replacing the product which has never worked by delaying until it is no longer in warranty. They are a dishonest company, run by incompetents or worse, they are criminals and are happy to take money and try to grind consumers down by making their service impossible to get all the while recorded messages assure those of us on hold that Frigidaire is concerned and cares about its customers. RUN, RUN, RUN, but do not buy anything any Frigidaire.

I purchased a new double wall oven in Oct. 2012, and was generally happy with it. The first time we tried to use the self-cleaning feature, after several months, after a while running the self clean, the oven showed an error code and then shut down. It worked fine otherwise, but we have not been able to self clean. In the past month, we have started getting the same error code (F43) when using the oven for regular cooking as well. Although we could tolerate the lack of cleaning, we are now trying to fix. Frigidaire initially would not help, as we are out of the 1-year warranty period. Then they offered to pay for parts, provided we use an authorized service technician. They sent me the 3 service technicians in my area, and 2/3 did not return my phone call. The third came out and reported that the labor alone to fix the oven would be over $400, requiring replacing of a fan and a sensor. I contacted Frigidaire again, expressing my dissatisfaction with the oven, and telling them I didnt see a reason that a new oven should require these new parts, as well as being unhappy with being forced to use a particular service company, who seemed to be charging a very large amount. Completely unhappy experience, and I will not be buying a Frigidaire again.

It first started with the stove. After three months of using it, the cooktop began to pit. It appeared to be chipping. Never once did I cut on it. A couple of times, I did boil over macaroni. The cooktop was replaced but I did have to pay for the service guy to come and replace it. Then, one of the computer boards in the water/ice dispenser burned up. It began to smoke and stink. I again had to call for service, which I had to pay a service call for and a labor charge. When the new board was put in, it was a bad board and it burned the second board. This adventure was around $400.00 by the time I was through, for something that was under warranty. Now, my microwave isnt heating and the magnetron is under warranty for ten years. However, by the time I finish paying a diagnostic fee and a labor charge, I really paid for the part! I will never buy Frigidaire products again!

I bought a Frigidaire Dishwasher (Model: FDB4315LFC2) and a Frigidaire Smooth Top Range Oven (Model: FEFL79HCB) from Lowes in 2008. Now, in 2011, three years later, my Frigidaire Dishwasher is showing an Error Code ER and S and will not work. My Frigidaire Smooth Top Range Oven makes an unbelievably loud noise as the oven warms up. It also heats very unevenly and untrue to the temperature dialed in. I get boiling liquid on simmer. I also have stained glass on the inside of the oven door that cant be cleaned without taking apart the door.

We bought all Frigidaire appliances (gas stove, side by side fridge and microwave) 5 years ago. The refrigerator broke down 4 times since then and then the 5th breakdown, we just replaced it. The convection fan in the stove stopped working within 1 year. The microwave is still working but the door handle keeps coming off. A few months ago, we bought a Frigidaire dishwasher because it matched our existing appliances. We must love the abuse. We started the washer last night before going to bed and woke up to see all the lights flashing and the dishes still dirty. Now, it wont do anything.Maytag, here we come! Weve already replaced the refrigerator with a Maytag. I wouldnt put another Frigidaire in my house even if it was free.

We have had the refrigerator for less than one year. The ice maker leaks into the refrigerator and the ice becomes one. The ice maker was replaced one time and three times it is either a new gasket or this time they used silicone to seal it. The fourth time was Saturday, April 30, 2016. He used an adhesive to complete the seal. By Sunday, May 1, 2016, it was leaking again. There is a serious flaw in this refrigerator. Please do not purchase this model refrigerator. Do not purchase Frigidaire. The last call to them was I dont open the refrigerator enough to let warm air in. Such an unprofessional company. Move on. There are so many reputable companies. I am trying to get the refrigerator replaced. CONSUMER BEWARE!

We purchased Frigidaire Professional appliances just over 2 years ago - double oven, microwave/hood fan and warming drawer. My issues with the oven were recorded here some months ago. Eventually, after a lot of wrangling and dishonesty on the part of Sears, Sears was forced by me into a buyback and replacement. This last week, we found that the microwave had ceased to heat. So now, in order to preserve the product coordination of our kitchen, Im now forced to purchase a new unit. The failed one states on the label that it was only produced in December 2009. It was installed by me in May 2010 and has been used only to thaw out bread and for heating frozen peas and suchlike, never for cooking as such. I would estimate its use at no more that 15 minutes or so per week.So this time, Im paying for a 4-year extended warranty and will take great delight in calling Sears out at the first hint of any trouble with it. Frigidaires Professional range of appliances are complete and utter junk, inherently unreliable and not fit for their intended purposes. The reliability of them is appalling beyond belief. My advice to anyone and everyone: Dont buy anything with a Frigidaire label on it, youll regret it if you do.

I purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher on 10/9/2017. Installed on 10/6/2017. On 3/1/2019 it wouldnt pump out the water. Disassembled found impeller on pump was shattered (made of thin plastic). My last dishwasher lasted 21 years without a problem. It was a Maytag. No more Frigidaire for me. They were well respected in years gone by. I feel any appliance should last at least 7 years.

Purchased Frigidaire Professional Series gas stove & refrigerator from Lowes 2 years ago. STOVE: model fpgf3077qfb. The ink on stove faceplate, indicating the functions; bake, broil, convection, clean, etc and the temperature numbers are rubbing off. Cannot read the function or the temperature. Frigidaire states there is no fix for this and I would have to replace the entire faceplate. Cost of part $130.00. (who would install & how much?) The face plate becomes so hot when oven is on, it is difficult to use touchpad timer-ouch! Hot! Product failure not covered under warranty. Single nurse in my 60s, do not bake every day or even every week. Have not used harsh or abrasive cleaning products. Stovetop grates are uneven and you cannot pull a pot across the top -- it catches and you have to lift the pot to move it off a burner. Additionally, poor design on oven door. Vent slots are so sharp and unfinished I have cut my fingers and fingernails when opening the door. Oven racks are difficult to slide in and out. REFRIGERATOR: model fpbc2277rf5: Ice cube function on refrigerator door jams continuously and you have to remove the ice tray, pour out the ice and adjust the screw. The crushed ice function sprays ice everywhere. Old fashion ice trays would be better. I DO NOT RECOMMEND FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCTS.

I purchased a Frigidaire 27.86 cu ft FD REF LGH from Lowes on 10.5.14 and had it delivered to my new home on 1.28.15. Less than a year later the ice maker started dripping water on the wood floor and stopped making ice. I contacted Frigidaire who said that since it was over a year old, it was not under warranty and it would cost over $300 to repair through one of their recommended repair companies. The female customer service rep asked me if I would like to purchase an extended warranty for $500.After several back and forth calls to customer service about the situation I ended up paying $300 for a five-year extended warranty. The repair company came out, said he needed to order the part, and weeks later came out to repair the ice maker which is now doing the same thing again. The repairman said he would probably see me every year because it is a problem with these models having the ice maker in the refrigerator door instead of the freezer door. When I called Frigidaire this morning, the customer no service person was very rude and would not even allow me to speak. She kept talking over me, giving me the same repair company in my area and a warranty number for the service. When I asked her if there was any possible option to replace the refrigerator with another model, she said, No. I responded with, So, am I stuck with this high-end expensive but faulty design until I purchase another brand? She said, Yes, thats it! I do not recommend anyone to purchase any Frigidaire products. They have a serious customer service and customer relations issue, and they do not back their products. I am now still waiting for the Frigidaire authorized warranty repair service to call me back from over two hours ago. Last time I had to take off two days work for this repair. Not acceptable product.

I moved into a condo six months ago, all appliances were brand new. I used the self clean option on my range and noticed the glass on the door has stains inside where you can not get at. I called the company, they say the warranty does not cover this and that they would send me an email with instructions to repair it myself. I am an 80 year old widow, give me a break. Even if there was some way I could, what would stop this from happening again. How can Frigidaire stand behind this product? I am very angry at the manufacturing of this product, if I was able to I would get rid of this model. What can I do, what are my options, can anyone help??

In February 2018, after seven years of owning a basic cheap model dishwasher (that was working fine), we decided to upgrade to a Frigidaire dishwasher. What an awful mistake; our nice, new, fancy dishwasher stopped working this week. We had a repairman out and were informed that the dishwasher needed a new motor. That is absolutely ridiculous - the dishwasher gets very little usage but is now totally useless to us. Do not, do not, DO NOT purchase a Frigidaire dishwasher. Frigidaire has been in business for years and you would think they would have gotten it right by now. When I was growing up there were a few products that everyone loved: Frigidaire, Tupperware and S&H Green Stamps. (I am really dating myself) S&H Green Stamps are long gone, Tupperware is almost exclusively online and Frigidaire no longer equals quality. What a sham and a shame.

I purchased my Frigidaire Professional appliances for a kitchen remodel in January of 2015. The appliances Sat in my garage (in its factory box) until our remodel was done, so we started using them in mid Feb. 2015. The refrigerator ice maker started making a slight noise around Christmas of 2015 and has progressed into a horribly loud noise in January of 2016. Today I called Frigidaire to complain, they offered to sell me an extended warranty for another $450.00... I told them No thanks. I would use a portion of the $450 to hire someone to come work on their product. You know, I dont mind paying extra for a good product. That is what I thought we had done, but Frigidaire proved me wrong today! This refrigerator cost $1800 - and I did not even get a solid year out of it before problems started. Now I find they refuse to stand behind their product. This was my first Frigidaire product and it will absolutely be my last! Thanks for nothing Frigidaire.

Bought a Frigidaire fridge from Lowes. Stopped working after 6 weeks. Talked to Lowes about getting it looked at. They told me I had to go through Frigidaire. Spoke with them, they were extremely rude right off the bat. They also changed the appointment date on me twice without me knowing. At this point I just worked on the fridge myself and got it to work. I hardly ever write reviews, particularly if I am dissatisfied with a product or service. Ive always figured a mental note to steer clear of further patronizing a particular establishment or buying a product were enough for my personal satisfaction. However, my experience with purchasing a Frigidaire stove from Colders (333 S 108th St, Milwaukee, WI 53214) warrants a stern warning to other consumers TO BEWARE... I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE ANY CONSUMER anticipating doing business with COLDERS or purchasing a FRIGIDAIRE appliance.First off, I bought a Frigidaire stove and refrigerator from Colders in October 2016. Now, for the second time since October, the stove is malfunctioning, for the exact same reason as the first time... Which happened just a few weeks after the stove was purchased. As if the malfunctioning stove isnt enough of an inconvenience, we were informed by the 3rd party repair technicians contracted by Colders/Frigidaire to service their appliances, that the earliest someone could come out to repair the stove was Friday. The stove went out on Sunday. Because the hours of operation for the repair tech also sucks, the earliest we could report the malfunction was Monday. As of today (Wednesday), the repair date has since been pushed back to next Monday because the techs dont have the repair part in inventory. My mother is a senior citizen, and for the second time since October, is without a stove for in excess of a week. The first time the stove went out (did I mention for the same reason), my mother was without a stove FOR TWO WEEKS!!! On both occasions, my mother and I contacted Colders, who referred us to the repair techs. As aforementioned, the response time absolutely sucked! The initial appointment IS ONLY TO CONFIRM THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM. The repair tech pre-orders the replacement part (without seeing the appliance), based on the error code and hopes that the part is what is needed to rectify the problem. In our case, it was not! So, for the initial malfunction, the tech had to schedule a second appointment to complete the repair. I am anticipating this repair will work in much the same way. I am thoroughly disappointed in both the product and service at this point. We have requested that the stove be replaced, however we were informed that Frigidaire has to approve the replacement once the 3rd-party repair tech is on site. I am not optimistic.

Wow, where do I start? Six years ago, we renovated a house and bought all new appliances. Lowes was having a sale on Frigidaire, so we chose all Frigidaire appliances (refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer). Almost immediately, we had a strange issue with the refrigerator. If you put items, i.e., sodas, on the bottom shelf, you cant open one of the crisper drawers. The weight of the sodas pushes down and prevents the drawer from sliding. Very poor design.About a year after the purchase, the dishwasher stopped working. We called out the repairman and the motor had gone bad. He said there was a series of motors that were bad and Frigidaire replaced the part for free but we still had to pay for labor. Also, it takes a long time for the stove to preheat. It takes 20 minutes to pre-heat to cook a pizza for 20 minutes. It is quicker to have a pizza delivered!Year three, the dryer stopped working. The main circuit board was burnt up. We were told it was not worth fixing and we had to buy another dryer. (We did not buy a Frigidaire). Now we are on year six. The clear coating that stops fingerprints on the stainless steel is wearing off both the microwave and refrigerator. This looks terrible. So, when we spend $3000 on appliances, we expect them to last more than 6 years. We are now faced with the thought that we will have to replace everything again. Poor design, unreliable, poor longevity, and looks terrible after a few years. We will never buy another Frigidaire product.

This is the worst purchase I have ever made in my life! Purchased a complete Frigidaire kitchen package (Fridge Model FGSS2635TD, oven, microwave, dishwasher) from Brandsmart USA in Miami, Florida to install in my brand new remodeled kitchen. It took over 2 months to arrive due to Covid. Brought the new black stainless steel appliances/smudge proof and what a mistake. The paint chips off all the appliances. Had to have the refrigerator door handles replaced because of chipping, other parts chipping as well. Had to purchase paint to apply every time it comes off and you see the silver stainless steel underneath. After only using the microwave for a couple of weeks it stopped working. Contacted Frigidaire to have a technician repair. It has been 2 months the technician has been out to the house 3 times and cant repair. Every time he comes there is a new issue and additional parts are needed, which take forever to arrive since everything is on backorder. This last time the tech advised I would need an entire front door to the microwave, the entire inside has practically been replaced and still doesnt work. Frigidaire customer service is horrible!! I have had to contact them over 10 times to no avail. One agent had the audacity to tell me they cant provide me with a new microwave and that they are losing money on me since they have to send the repair tech!! Like I said it would have been cheaper to send a new microwave!! If they would have manufactured a quality product this would not have happened. Unfortunately, I have to continue to wait since Im still paying for these appliances that cost over $4000.00. Praying that nothing else happens to the other appliances!! If I could give less than one star I would. Never again.!! Do NOT buy!! Grave disappointment from this company! Totally dissatisfied!

We manage a few properties and at one point ordered a few Frigidaire refrigerators. Three of them never worked upon arrival. I was thankfully able to get two of them replaced after several calls with the distributor because frigidaire refused. It has been a year and I still cannot get the third one fixed or replaced. I have had numerous calls dropped with their customer service, countless promises to have the item fixed, and even more promises that they would bring the needed parts to fix it the next time. I will NEVER purchase one of their products again for the sheer sake of how atrocious their customer service is. I hope you should never have to call their customer service, because after waiting on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes (there is no call back option), you will likely get someone who you have to re-explain the entire scenario to, they will still not understand, and your problem will still not get resolved. At this point Im likely to just throw away this refrigerator instead of wasting more time trying to get them to fix it. I was just on the phone for over an hour, they refused to give me a manager and the call surprisingly dropped. This has happened a number of times before when I have had issues and I never received a call back. 0/10 would recommend.

My $2,400 fridge stopped cooling after only 5 months. I had to call a 3rd party warranty service just to get ahold of Fridigaire! They were closed 2 days after Christmas and wouldnt answer the phones. After the 3rd day I was on hold for 5-10 minutes and would be hung up on due to high volume of calls. After hours of waiting I finally got through. They did send a local technician but he is at the mercy of Frigidaire sending parts. It is the control board apparently. I had to call and was on hold for 45 minutes just to get an answer on time frame. They said 3-5 business days then who knows when the installer can get to it.I tried to file a complaint or speak to a manager and the only option was a complaint that took the man 10 minutes but said there is nothing they can do now. Going on 12 days without a working fridge now. No apology from FA, and they will not answer Twitter or FB messages. They do not have an email or chat either. My advice is to call service lines before buying thousands in appliances and see how their CS is before buying. I would not have bought from FA if I had known their products are as terrible as their service.

We purchased a suite of Frigidaire Gallery appliances to upgrade our kitchen. We upgraded our kitchen with a suite of Frigidaire Gallery appliances 5-6 years ago. Our household consists of 2 adults 60+ years of age (maybe this will nullify the kid factor). The range failed first - the oven went from temp setting to thermal run-away and burnt everything. We removed it, gave it away and bought a Korean product beginning with the letter L.The refrigerator quit making ice, the freezer defrosted and the refrigerator side went warm. We replaced the ice maker and a thermocouple. The ice maker is still a pain in the **, overfills the bin, shoots out of the dispenser like its fired out of a cannon. Refrigerated items freeze, the vegetable bins insure a short life for new items. The unit moans, groans and sounds like someones trapped inside. Were waiting for a sale and this thing will be GONE. The microwave just expired - DOA. It too was replaced. Next, the dishwasher quit in stages. Certain buttons for wash selection died, other worked. Error codes appeared but could be overridden with a hard reboot (circuit breaker shut off). When PF (power failure) appeared when restarting, it might, on a good day, restart BUT would stop with 48 minutes left in the cycle. Play button push lotto and you might get it to finish wash and rinse - forget drying. Replaced with brand L also. It is beyond fathoming how any Frigidaire kitchen appliance might receive a rating other than DISMAL. My suggestion: research all competitors in your budgeted price range and understand that all manufacturers will have problems .... but the failure of 4 of 4 appliances within 5-6 years? Not likely.

When the original light bulb in the refrigerated section of my Frigidaire side-by-side burnt out, I really didnt think it was so unusual. Ill just purchase a new bulb and replace it. This should be simple. Well, not so simple. Upon attempting to remove the bulb, it would not turn. I was afraid to apply excessive force since I didnt want to break it off in the socket. I couldnt understand why I was having so much difficulty removing a light bulb. So I poked my head in the refrigerator to get a closer look. I was amazed and concerned at what I saw. The bulb had burned the plastic lining above it. The bulb was stuck to the top of the liner. After several more attempts to remove the bulb, I finally succeeded. There is a considerable amount of damage to the liner, including a small hole in the middle of the egg size crater that was created by the hot light bulb. Im not only concerned that this has compromised the cooling capacity of my refrigerator. But that it could be a potential fire hazard. Still, I continue, with increasing doubt, to replace light bulbs with increasing frequency. I just installed the fourth bulb. Please help! Am I and my family in any immediate danger from this defective product?

We needed a fully functional, energy efficient refrigerator for a tight spot in our small house, which we bought 15 years ago. We did not want bells and whistles like an ice machine, although this fridge does have the capacity for one, door water dispenser, alarms etc. These items are just more to break, need cleaning and cause problems. We bought the 14 Frigidaire and it has been wonderful. Interior is roomy for the size, electricity use is quite reasonable. It is easy to clean and the gasket has held up well. The small size means that we need to use up leftovers, don't have food waste, and keep it neat. The price was right. Should we need to replace it, we will look at the same brand.

Bought all new appliances for our house when we purchased it. All were Frigidaire. The Refrigerator didnt last 6 months. The control board, fan and ice maker went bad. We had it repaired under the extended warranty plan we purchased from Lowes. The repairs lasted a couple weeks and it failed again. This time the whole refrigerator was replaced. The new one was no better. 2 ice makers have failed and now the control board is failing and we have to listen to it beep day in and day out. Reset button and alarm mute both dont work. The fridge and freezer are working properly but the board doesnt. Stay away from Frigidaire. Even our dishwasher and dryer are constantly having issues. It has gotten so bad I removed the dishwasher and threw it away.

In 2010 I remodeled my kitchen and thought I was purchasing a great product from a company located close to my home. The professional series complete kitchen. Within 4 months the refrigerator quit (under warranty). I called and service tech was sent. The diagnosis code was CY SE or communication error. They replaced the unit after 1 and 1/2 months without a fridge. The new unit lasted just 13 months and same error code (now out of warranty). Repair with new computer and display board, cost $379. Less than 1 year and same issue and repair, cost $405. Now again same issue. Service Tech ordered new boards installed. No power. Ordered next set no display but it had power again. Bad board. Service Tech called Frigidaire service tech and was told 9 out of 10 of the boards we have at distribution points are no good. Now I have been out of a working refrigerator for 1 month. May not be able to get another computer board for at least week since there are none in close supply. If it is able to be repaired it will be another $400. Customer service rep told me today there is nothing she could do since it is out of warranty(Mfg date: 08/10). She also said Dont you realize things break? Cost for 3 years including purchase, install, cost of repairs so far $3308.

We have had many Frigidaire products over the years. Not sure what happened
We have had many Frigidaire products over the years. Not sure what happened to them, but they are certainly not what they used to be. Our latest... a new Frigidaire dishwasher, the master control board failed at 2 years and one month, just past warranty. And their service? Was a huge fail! They did not care. It was clearly a manufacturing quality control problem for that to fail. But the response from Frigidaire was they did not care. And, they had no interest in taking the machine or board back to see what went wrong with it (despite our offer). It was like they knew there was a problem... but they just did not care. So, we replaced it with an American made Whirlpool, and will do the same with the fridge and freezer. And we will never go back to Frigidaire again. For others, I recommend you research your purchases carefully.

I purchased new oven/microwave unit in 2008 that developed a problem last August turning on based on a door latch that malfunctions. I spent $234 to fix with Frigidaire authorized service company, who told me it was a simple problem but expensive because you had to remove the entire wall unit to access. 4 months later I am having the same problem. Repair warranty was only 90 days. Fix will cost the same again. So I called Frigidaire’s customer service twice but they cannot help. I wrote office of their president who returned call very quickly but cannot offer any help. The only solution that was offered was that I should have purchased the extended warranty in the beginning. I am left with only two options. Spend $234 again to fix problem which only lasted 4 months the first time, or purchase a new unit. Original unit cost just under $1600. It seems there is a defect on this unit, but I am the one who is left out in the cold.

We bought this refrigerator and the noise of the unit is very loud. The unit works perfectly but because of its design the unit produces more noise from its compressor than any refrigerator Ive ever heard. If I knew this I would have opted for a different refrigerator. The so-called stainless steel is not stainless steel and if at any time the protective finish is compromised on inside or outside it will rust. Its not right that you can say stainless steel and the metal is not stainless steel. To prove this point you should not be able to have strong magnetic properties with stainless steel because of the lack of iron in the material and yet the so-called stainless steel does work as well as plain steel which will rust. I hope this helps other unsuspecting consumers when they meet with fraudulent marketing tactics that we all must deal with more than ever today.

Bought a Frigidaire refrigerator 6 months ago. It stopped working this past Monday. Lost all my food, contacted Sears where I bought it. They would not do anything about it. Told me to contact Frigidaire customer service. They were no help at all. Could not get anyone out to fix until 3 days later. Too late, 200 to 300 dollars worth of food that was in fridge went to the dump. They had the balls to offer me 25 dollars to help on replacing food so service tech came out on Thursday. He was very helpful, the only one had sense but didnt have part to fix so had to order part.So its going to be another 3 days for the part to arrive. They dont care whether they can help you or not. All they could say was, Thats all I can do. So anyone buying this product better think about buying any Frigidaire product because they lie about speedy service and warranty is not worth a damn. I will not purchase any more of their product. Its nothing but junk.

I purchased a Frigidaire Professional Refrigerator in Aug 2015. Since then, I have had the same issue over and over again. The bottom ice maker will work once it is replaced for about a day or two then it stops. This is still going on today 01/30/2017. They have made several major repairs to the unit. Nothing has worked 100%. All the company seems to want to do is replace the bottom ice maker. It is clear that the issue isnt the ice maker. A tech just came out this past Monday and replaced the compressor in the refrigerator and he put a new ice maker in as well. After 1 day, the ice maker stopped working again. I called the Lowes warranty department and they said unless a repairman deems the unit irreparable the ice maker doesnt qualify us for a replacement. It was on factory warranty for 1 year. They also told me that those repairs do not count under the extended warranty. So it is like starting over all over again. My husband believes that they are trying to ride this out until we either give up or the warranty runs out. The current repair company has been out 6 times and 7 will be Monday 02/06/2017. Based on the information I have received from the repair company they have not gotten paid because the issue still exist. I have no control over that. I have been in constant contact with the repair company talking with them concerning this issue. I have been very cooperative and understanding. This whole issue is way out of control and the company doesnt seem to care about the customers or the products that they sell.I would never purchase another Frigidaire Product again. This one was my first. It will certainly be my last. I have been very unhappy and dissatisfied with the products performance and the customer service. I would very much like for an attorney to contact me over this issue.

I purchased this refrigerator new about a year and a half ago. Within the first month, the entire refrigerator had to be replaced. Since then, both the upper and lower ice makers have been replaced and worked on multiple times. The refrigerator is now out of warranty. Since the warranty ran out, the ice maker has had to be worked on twice. I have now had to purchase an extended warranty to pay for parts and labor that should be covered under warranty since the problems began right after the purchase. I should NOT have had all these problems within this short time frame since purchase. I have called Frigidaire about 8 times in 4 days, and I still have not had a repairman to my house to fix the problem. To me, this is unacceptable. I am very disappointed, and I will never purchase a Frigidaire product again. Dealing with customer service has been a waste of everyones time!

Received a damaged refrigerator and reported the damage to the appliance store. The damage is a bent frame behind the bottom kick plate. The appliance store contacted the distributor with no results. I then contacted Frigidaire customer service and they did not stand behind their product with a repair or replacement. Their response was that their warranty only covered manufacturing issues and that a damaged frame (bent) was not a manufacturing defect. They pointed the finger at the appliance store and/or the distributor and left me to resolve the issue. In addition to the bent frame, this is the noisiest refrigerator I have ever owned!.

Directly from their site to entice you to buy this warranty are these statements: Enjoy the peace of mind that only Frigidaire can guarantee. No one knows your product better than we do. And no other company is better equipped to provide the specialized parts and service you may need or to replace your product entirely! So invest now in the best possible protection with a Service Contract. And we guarantee to stand behind you and your product for as long as you own your coverage. There was no peace of mind when day after day we didnt know when wed finally have a washer. On the 5th call on 5-15-17 we were told our parts were ordered and again told to contact SoCal Tech. They said they ordered from Marcone and finally gave a tracking number. The replace your product entirely would have been a better option and was part of what was enticing about the warranty, definitely not fulfilled.Up to three full years of freedom from costly repair bills. Whether you choose a one, two, or three year Service Contract, well pay for all covered repairs needed to keep your product in peak operating condition. And that means no surprises to your budget. HUGE surprise to our budget of money and time to have to go to a laundromat which was 14.5 miles away and cost $60 for 20 loads a week for 9 people just to maintain laundry, not even basic bedding and such. A month of no product in peak operating condition.A brand new product, if needed. Its true. Our replacement coverage entitles you to a brand new major appliance with comparable features if yours cant be fixed, or if it simply makes more sense to replace it. Over a month and $1200 to fix a washer we bought for $600 in 2009 would warrant that it simply makes more sense to replace it instead of inconvenience the customer for so long.Convenient, in-home service with a toll-free call, Reliable service is only a phone call away when you own a Frigidaire Service Contract. Quick access to the correct replacement parts. Forget about inferior parts being used on your product or long, unnecessary waiting for a special component. We maintain an ample supply of quality components designed specifically for your Frigidaire model to ensure we can have it running like new again in no time.Frigidaires idea of no time is definitely different than ours for a family of 9 after a very long, unnecessary waiting of 30 days. Not quick access at all. Our Money-Back Guarantee. The dish washer, upper spray arm falls off and needs a new one, it also is awkwardly arranged for loading and clogs periodically. The range oven lower drawer bearings have worn out despite very infrequent use. This causes it to site much lower on 1 side. You have to order a new drawer arm and bearings for this. I sure wished I wouldve known about this website before we purchased these products. We own all three appliances in the SS Frigidaire Professional Series, fridge, range, and dishwasher. Let me just say, buyer beware. Weve had them approximately 5 -7 yrs. Weve had to replace the heating element in the dishwasher. And recently, something blew after I heated the oven to bake a dish. The breaker blew and nothing on the digital readout panel or the burners or oven would work. I didnt know about the recall on the range until I accessed their website to issue a complaint. I had to have it repaired so I could use it. The cost was $500 plus. I called them and they told me to fax the repair invoice for possible reimbursement consideration. I did (9/27/11) and waited a few weeks to call back to check on the decision. They couldnt give me any info since they said they never received it, even though I had confirmation that it was received. At that time, I requested the replacement parts to repair the exact problem included in the recall. But in the meantime, they said because they didnt receive my initial fax, they gave me a new number. I refaxed the invoice again to another number on 10/25 and waited until today (11/18) to call and check again. Initially, I was told the fax wasnt received again until I insisted it had already been faxed twice and to a new number the second time. Suddenly, it was found and the decision to reimburse was denied justified because it wasnt directly included in the recall. Never mind, they should stand behind their product that blew a breaker at the time it failed. It’s clearly dangerous to have done that. I’m not happy with their decision. I will do better research when purchasing appliances in the future. There is no such thing as a reliable appliance with Frigidaire and they dont stand behind their product.

The $900 refrigerator started giving us problems about 2 months after purchasing (made strange clicking and buzzing sounds and would stop cooling and had to be unplugged and then re-plugged into the outlet a couple of times to get it to start working). Fast forward to the present (5 months after purchasing) and the refrigerator and freezer have stopped working permanently (despite unplugging and re-plugging as originally suggested by Frigidaire customer service). After waiting nearly an hour to speak to a person, I managed to get Frigidaire to arrange for a repairman who told us the compressor was shot and the entire unit would have to be replaced. Learned that Frigidaire and its service partners DO NOT COMMUNICATE after another nearly one hour wait on Frigidaires customer service number (when I finally got a person, I waited another 20 minutes as the rep called the repair service to confirm what Id been told). While the repairman had told me the refrigerator would be replaced, Frigidaire says they will first have to check if parts are available (a compressor and a heater). I am now waiting for Frigidaire Corporate to reach out to me with details on how they plan to honor their standard 12-month manufacturers warranty (I should hear back within 72 hours according to what I was told by the service rep). Weve now been without a refrigerator for over one week without any idea of how long it will take to get this situation resolved. According to other reviews Ive read, it may well take over a month!

I am very upset that I did not do my homework before I purchased my new kitchen. In 2007, we had a fire in our home and had to have all of our appliances replaced. I did not have a lot of time to do online research because we were busy working at our home trying to get moved back in, so now I am paying the price. The range keeps blowing the electronic board and thermosensor from overheating (which wouldnt you expect a range top to get hot), even though I had the recall done, which was supposed to correct the issue. I am very upset about Frigidaire not recalling their faulty products, as I am sure they know that they have a design issue in these ranges.I just hope that consumers research complaints about Frigidaire because they will see how poorly made their appliances are. As everyone else has said, SHAME ON YOU FRIGIDAIRE. It is sad to see expensive appliance products made in the USA that are of such low quality that you have to replace them in just a few years. Consumers be wary of anything that Frigidaire makes.

I bought Galaxy range. When I cooked for thanksgiving dinner, the backside of the range with its computer components and keypad melted. PC Richards sent a repair person out who said that we used pots that were too large. We did not use enormous pots aside from there should not be melting components on an appliance that gets hot. It is a fire hazard! Frigidaire keeps apologizing for this defective appliance but not giving solution to a useless range. My parents redid our kitchen about 5 years ago. They picked Frigidaire Gallery (microwave/gas stove) Amana fridge. Just over the 5 years we have had to get all appliances fixed, some multiple times. Within two weeks (about a month ago) the Amana fridge stopped cooling, the problem was a clogged tube, easy fix. Then our gas oven would not heat. A GAS OVEN! (had a 50 yr gas oven when we bought house = no problem) Shortly after that, the right front burner needs a new part (sparker). The microwave has broken multiple times. It now doesnt work at all. Overall it has cost about $1,300. I will say it does pay to buy the higher end appliances. For example, the Frigidaire professional dishwasher has had no issues - thus far.

The 24-inch gas wall ovens are not displayed in stores. So, I made my purchase online from Airport Home Appliances. The difference in the appearance of the oven online and in person was as different as night and day. The oven sits too far off the cabinet. Which did not show online. There’s no frame around the oven, so it looks unfinished. The interior of the oven sides, door and gauges were not even. The bottom drawer was uneven, flimsy, and the parts inside were bent and didnt close completely. Airport Home Appliance agreed regarding the defective/damaged oven and ordered a replacement. Unfortunately, the 2nd oven had the same issues. They did remove the oven from my home. I paid $1699.00 for this oven, not including taxes and installation. Airport Appliances have told me it was manufactured that way and can’t promise me a refund. The oven was removed from my home. So now I have no oven and missing $2000.00.

My issue isnt as dramatic as some Ive read, but nonetheless I am furious. I have a 5-year-old Frigidaire refrigerator and last night, I was going to clean under the crisper drawers. When I started taking it apart, I noticed the plastic frame was badly cracked. I called Frigidaire because that piece has no weight on it other than bread and other lightweight items, and should never break let alone in 5 years. They refused to do anything about it, and the discounted price they offered me was considerably more than online resellers of this part. I told them that was a ridiculous price since they are the manufacturer. Even worse, customer service said that they werent willing to replace it at no charge. They didnt seem to care. I will never buy another Frigidaire product if this is what they call customer service.

I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stain
I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stainless steel refrigerator (Model FFTR1821QS), manufactured in April, 2015. Within 2 weeks of moving in, on 10/23/15, the refrigerator started making a loud groaning and clunking noise and was no longer cooling. Called Frigidaire and they scheduled a service call for over a week out with one of their contracted companies. The guy came out and determined that there were 3 parts that needed to be replaced, all of which were on backorder, so they likely wouldnt be available for weeks. I called Frigidaire again to figure out some kind of resolution and get a more accurate timeline for when the parts would be in and when the repair could be completed. They were not able to give me a timeline other than one of the parts needed is expected to arrive 1 week from today.I have now been without a refrigerator for 1 week and AT MINIMUM expecting to be without for another week, most likely much longer since the other 2 parts do not have an estimated arrival date at all. The person in the parts administration department was unable to do anything further and abdicated responsibility to the customer service department. When I called Customer Service, I expressed by frustration and stated that having to wait 3-4 weeks or more without a refrigerator is completely unacceptable. After being on hold for a while, the person came back and offered me 6 months of additional extended warranty on the refrigerator which does absolutely nothing for me today. I asked for the brand new refrigerator to be replaced or to be given some kind of compensation because it was obviously a defective model if this level of problems were happening so soon.I was told that a repair and offer of additional extended warranty was all that could be done. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was connected to Danielle, corporate manager, who gave me the same lines the other person did. I asked for a replacement or some other kind of compensation again and was told that the manufacturer warranty only covers parts and labor and not replacement and that Danielle, herself, would research the parts that are needed (for the 3rd or 4th time... apparently that should give me some kind of solace that another person will do the same thing that has already been done) and will give me a call next week with an update. If the parts arent there, they arent there.Theres nothing than can be done to expedite that process. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she refused to transfer me to anyone else. It is absolutely ridiculous how little regard Frigidaire has for their customers and their experience with their products. I will never purchase a Frigidaire product and will recommend that anyone I know steer clear of them as well.

We just bought a house that came with Frigidaire Gallery line refrigerator, and we werent sure what type water filters to buy. I called the 800 number listed on the filter housing to order more, thinking that would be the best way, to order straight from the company. In short, they sent the wrong type of filter. Their mistake, not mine, as they told me. Well... I was informed they would not refund my $86 for the incorrect order until 7 to 10 days after they had the first order picked up. It has now been almost a full MONTH and although they have had the filters in their warehouse for three weeks, I have yet to see the money returned to my credit card. Ive called repeatedly, and no one will do anything about it. They will do everything in their power to not transfer me to a manager. This is the Frigidaire/Electrolux policy on returns, and its horrible.Even the smallest Amazon retailer provides better customer service than this awful company. If youre thinking of buying a replacement part from them directly... DONT! If they make a mistake, youll be waiting a mighty long time to get your money back. I will absolutely never order from them again; and the whole experience has me thinking of a different brand when its time to replace our appliances.

We purchased a new double oven in fall of 2010. Within the first 6 months we noticed that the upper oven starting burning everything - even after just a few minutes. We called for service and it was found that the upper oven had warped and as a result, the entire stove was replaced as no expense to us. In September of 2013 we noticed that the racks in the lower oven were not longer safe. They had to be balanced and fell if any weight was put on them. I called for service and the tech came out to tell us that the lower oven cavity would have to be replaced. This is less than a 2 year old stove - and my 2nd problem with the ovens expanding. I contacted Fridgidaires customer service who at first were not helpful at all because it was beyond the 1 year warranty. I tried to express my concern about the safety and asked about liability if the rack fell and someone was burned...they then indicated that the oven could be repaired but it was very labor intense and as a gesture, they would pay for the parts if we paid for labor. Getting quotes of several hundreds of dollars, we decided to replace the stove with a different brand at our expense. I had contacted Fridgidaire to see if they would like the stove back to research how it can fail twice in less than 3 years but they told me to dispose of it. So after spending $1600 for a new Gallery series Double oven - I am left with trash at the curb after less than 2 years (on the replacement oven). I am disgusted and mad that Fridgidaire was so complacent about the failure of their product - not once but TWICE. And my reward was --- it is out of warranty. My prior stove was 12 years old and was never serviced and this piece of crap was serviced multiple times and replaced due to defects. And I am left with the bill... great company - avoid this company at all costs...It will leave you without nothing.

It would set off an alarm every Saturday about 1 a.m. that could only be stopped by unplugging the stove. Now, one year later, we cant turn the stove off with the cancel button using the touchpad on the stove. The repairman left me the original defective motherboard saying I might need it in the future. I purchased a Frigidaire washer (FAFS4272LW) and dryer on October 1, 2011. Since purchasing these items I have had a major service on the machine at 15 months when the cement block disintegrated causing the machine to stop spinning. Repair cost me $600.00 - NO WARRANTY. Frigidaire/Electrolux did not want to help me stating I did not get extended warranty for this item. Who would think this front load washer of 15 months would have such an issue? I finally got them to replace the cement block but I was to pay for service. 600.00 later the machine is fixed and I am left cleaning the mess the service man did not clean. Fast forward to August 15, 2015. The washer is not yet 4 years old and again the cement block has cracked and I am left without a machine - since this is not covered as I refused to give Frigidaire another penny and purchase an extended warranty. By the way the customer service person told me this part would not be covered pre-existing problem. I just took the machine and junked it. I did go out and purchase a Samsung Top Load AquaJet machine with a five year warranty - anything happens to my machine they will repair it at no cost or replace it. Customer service thanks to PC Richards at its best unlike Electrolux. I will never purchase another item that has the name is GE/Frigidaire/Electrolux again.

Model # - FRsss2323AS0 or O Serial # -4A14107574. Order number for missing parts: ** waiting on shipment since Feb 25, 2022. Where is the tracking number. My mother has been waiting on missing parts for her new fridge since January 2022. I have called a few times just to simply get the tracking number for the order shipped out I was told on February 25, 2022. They have all the details on file from the specs as to which parts are missing (deli tray 3,4,5 which is specs 48,49) and (Crisper tray 49) as well as a fridge logo. This was covered by Mykia, she told me that the order was held but never go back to me as to why it was held. I spoke with Ann who told in early Feb. She told me by Feb 25 2022 the missing parts will be shipped. I spoke to Sirena told March 14 she hung up on me and but told me she would place me on hold to go retrieve the tracking number, enter hang up a dial tone. Someone either did not do the reorder for the missing parts or the shipped is still not out yet. Either way when a customer calls if the CS rep does not know the answer as to why the order hasnt been shipped or cant even provide the tracker number for the missing parts, this only means people are slipping on the cs service skills. From January until March 14 2022 my mother is still waiting on missing parts. WHY? Can I get a order tracking number without cs reps hanging up or just the honesty of what is really going on here. Tomorrow I will call back and just request to speak with a supervisor or manager because these are simple questions that only require simple answers. WHERE IS THE TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE MISSING PARTS???

The oven had not been on for over 16 hours. I was across the room when the door exploded (not fell and broke). Small pieces of glass (most about the size of large ice cream salt) covered the floor. I was standing at the cabinet about 4 feet away and it hit my feet and legs. If I had been at home alone, I would have not been able to move since this glass covered the floor. If there had been a small child there, it could have hit them in the face. I realized it is 10 months out of warranty and your company is not going to accept responsibility for the defect in the glass door. Of course, I would like for this to happen since an exploding glass door is obviously a defect. At least, I would ask that you recall this model before someone is seriously injured. How many complaints have you had about this?

If I could give them a negative star I definitely would. I began replacing the appliances in my kitchen with Frigidaire about 5 years ago. I had problems with the refrigerator. Thank goodness it was covered under warranty, the condenser or something had to be replaced. I also had problems with the water in the door of the freezer. The paddle broke twice. The first time they sent me a new one to replace it.The real issue is the Frigidaire stove. This past Saturday night My husband woke me up about 12:30 am. The house was full of thick white smoke that burned our lungs and eyes. My 83 year old mother lives with us. We determined there was no fire just smoke. We began clearing the smoke out of the house. We then noticed a skillet on the stovetop smoking. The knobs were all turned to off but the stove had cooked that skillet. Its a wonder it didnt catch my house on fire.I contacted Frigidaire this morning. At first they told me it was not on the recall list and they could send me to an authorized repair person. After insisting to talk to someone else, I got Tiffany a corporate representative. She also advised it was not on the recall list. She did offer me 50% off repair. I actually laughed. I said your appliance came on by itself, almost killed me, my husband and my mother, could have burned my house down and you are going to offer me 50% off fixing it? I will never buy another Frigidaire and will do as much as possible to keep anyone else from buying Frigidaire. The offer to fix my problem was definitely not even close to what they should have done.

I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator back in November 2011. It had the refrigerator on top and the freezer drawer was on the bottom. The Icemaker that dispensed ice was up in the freezer section. I found a couple weeks ago after pulling the refrigerator out to investigate something that there was a chunk of ice that had eaten its way through the back of the refrigerator and was rusting up all around it. When the repairman came out, he said it was a common defect found with this model (#FGHB2844LF7) because Frigidaire had not put any sealant around the ice maker so the air from the fridge was making direct contact with the air in the ice maker and was causing ice buildup in the ice maker which built up over time. The result was that the build up of ice ate a hole through the back of the refrigerator and that it was losing efficiency. The worst part was that as the ice would melt and drip down over time, it was slowly working into the wood floor and causing it to warp. If you have this product, I would look into this to ensure you dont have the issue. The repairman said this product should have been recalled years ago.

I’ve had a “new” microwave for 3 years and during this time I’ve had to call in 4 or 5 service request since it’s not working. Since it’s outside of their warranty, they charge $90 per trip fee. If I want to avoid the trip fee, they want me to pay for an extended warranty. Either way, they want more money. This just tells me they are using a defective product & could care less about the customer experience. Horrible accommodations to a client. For the amount they charge & the number of times they’ve been out, I could have easily purchased another appliance. If it was the 1st or 2nd time, I understand. But at this point it tells me you have incompetent contractors “fixing” an item that should have been replaced & an appliance that messes up this many times in such a short amount of time tells me it’s horribly put together. Purchased a stainless steel slide-in stove from Sears 2 years ago. It is a beautiful stove and my wife was very happy with it. She had called Frigidaire a few days after it was installed to find out what to use to clean and purchased all of the recommended cleaners. This stove was always immaculate. After about a year and a half the stainless steel control panel started peeling in a few spots making this otherwise beautiful stove look terrible. We checked our brochures and owners manuals and they all stated that it was made of stainless steel when in reality it is made of aluminum coated to look like stainless. We called Frigidaires customer service and I use that term loosely and asked them why my stainless stove is made of fake stainless and that told me it was real stainless. When I explained that mine was coated aluminum, they said they would have the technical people look into it and get back to me. They contacted me later and explained that my wife had scrubbed the outer layer of stainless steel off. What? And that for $250 they could send me a new stainless steel control panel. What? Thats right they are still trying to tell me that its stainless. Im not an attorney but this sure sounds fraudulent to me. I had good experiences in the past with Frigidaire but to misrepresent what you are selling is fraud and fortunately there are many other manufacturers to chose from.

I upgraded my kitchen with a new 4 piece silver, grey mist Frigidaire appliances. I was told that Frigidaire was the best. My previous appliance was Frigidaire. I had no problem with them. My refrigerator broke within a 1.5 years. I was awaken by my smoke detector @ 4:30 am on 10/11/14. My kitchen was completely filled with smoke and a burning smell. After searching for what was burning, I saw smoke coming from the back of my fridge; so scary. I have NEVER had a problem with a NEW appliance before this issue. Called Frigidaire and was given no sympathy or empathy. I was told it no longer under warranty and that I should purchase an extended warranty after I have the problem fixed. The parts on my American made appliances were shown as made in Mexico. Very Strange. I could not see paying $1000s for appliances then paying $800 to get a NEW appliance fixed. My heart was broken. After 2 weeks with no fridge, they agreed to pay for the parts, but the labor and service call was well over $300. Frigidaire need to work on their Customer Service Dept. I was hung up on several times, after being on hold for 30 minutes, my call was placed back into the cue, I was given misinformation, the list goes on and on. I just cant believe a company that I thought was so upstanding, turned out to be very disgraceful. I can no longer tell my friends and family to purchase any Frigidaire appliances. Finally I was baked into a corner where I had to buy their warranty. 250 dollars but didnt go into effect until a month out. Then they put the warranty on the wrong appliances but they didnt care. Then they didnt bother telling me they were going to fix it without me purchasing the warranty. So at the end of the road I got no help from Elizabeth their supervisor. This company plays the odds of who will actually keep coming after them. Dont buy their products. I own a construction company. I am hiring 25 people to stand out in front of a lot of their stores with sign in protest. I will go buy new products.. Yes this will all cost me a lot of money but its going to cost them more. Our electrician came out today and everything was good with the electric to the stove. SOOOO, I had to call Frigidaire again to schedule another service call. Its absolutely impossible to get through to customer service and when I did, I asked to speak with a manager and she hung up on me! So I called back and waited on hold again only to be told that the stove will not be replaced until deemed unrepairable! Again, I asked to speak with management and told, I would get a call back in 1-2 days. My next appointment to have the technician come to the house is 10/14!!! Its 10/5/21 and I still have no resolution for my $1800 oven! We basically got a lemon and Frigidaire isnt willing to step up and honor their commitment to good service.

2 years ago I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator and paid 850.00. I understood it was inexpensive but it was a small apartment sized refrigerator and had no bells, no whistles and so one would assume that the price was right for what you were getting, WRONG. This fridge may as well be a polished **. Just 1 month out of warranty the control board failed, so the freezer and the fridge compartments were warm and the control board just flashed. I paid to replace the control board with a new OEM from the manufacturer board, and this part cost me 200.00 But now just yesterday 7 months later the control board stopped working again and did exactly what the original one did. We are 5 days to Christmas and me without and once again without our Frigidaire fridge. 1,050.00 invested now in a small fridge and its just a stainless steel polish on a **.

Frigidaire gas range - One of the burners burns way too high and hot. The manual says it can be adjusted. I had 2 service calls for this issue. Both servicemen said it was by design and there was nothing wrong with it. What??? It does not have a low setting, I cannot use this burner and it is the largest one! Frigidaire uses a third party service, AE Factory Service in Texas. Im Im Maine, they have no idea who they are sending and they dont care. Also bought was a refrigerator, and the if maker is a nightmare. The service man said, I should never buy a refrigerator with an ice maker, they never work right. He didnt bother to try to fix it. Frigidaire does not care about their customers.

2015 we bought all new Frigidaire appliances. Very disappointed. Refrigerator back Iced up and rusted out. Frigidaires fix was to put a 1 and 1/4 thick foam on the back of the frig. Now the fridge sticks out even further from the wall, I wouldnt be able to see if it were iced over with the foam on the back, and the ice machine hasnt worked the same since the repair. Our double oven burns food on the edges. Frigidaire put one of the largest burners towards the back so that the heat from the burner melts the face of the control board. Had it replaced once already and it is melted again. Our Dishwasher wont work on all the setting. If we select Power wash, we end up with water all over the floor. We get constant power failures also. If I could give a zero rating I would. Im surprised this company hasnt been sued. Last I spoke to Frigidaire, I was told that they could help me find a service provider and that once I pot them to fix the issue, they could then offer me an extended warranty. Seriously???

My wife worked and saved for a LONG time because she wanted to upgrade the kitchen. Once she felt she had saved up enough, she went shopping for a houseful of appliances. She liked the Frigidaire Gallery line and the Affinity washer and dryer. In October of 2010, we took delivery of stainless gas range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator along with new washer and dryer. The only good thing to be said about Frigidaire is the smudge-proof stainless is the real deal. Too bad its not worth the aggravation. I would rather clean the front of the fridge every day, than deal with this brand ever again. We have paid for extended service contracts on all of the appliances since 2010 and with good reason. The washer has been repaired at least 8 times. It also stinks inside quite often. There was a class action suit for this and all you get is a check for $50. We used it to buy vinegar to clean it periodically (the only thing that works). Dryer has been repaired at least 3 times, if not more. Dishwasher repaired once. Gas range did a weird thing where if you tried to light one burner, all the igniters would fire up. That took time for parts, but it was otherwise usable. The refrigerator, where to begin??? Constant noise and malfunctions with the ice maker. Also, it would never stop making ice, even after the ice bin was full. After five repairs, my wife convinced someone in customer service it was time to replace the fridge. Fridge number two had the same issue with the ice maker, it would never stop making ice. You know the bin is too full when water drips from the ice dispenser. In 2014, we moved and washer, dryer and fridge #2 came with us. My wife likes her appliances to match, so she bought a new Gallery gas range, microwave and dishwasher.Fridge #2 didnt make it far into 2015. Ice maker stopped making ice. Deemed un-repairable, enter fridge number 3. Fridge #3 also has the issue with never stopping ice production. The icemaker was replaced (they finally re-engineered it so they didnt have to bring you a new fridge every time the ice maker quit). #3 is a little noisier than 1 and 2, but tolerable. Also, the replacement ice maker never stops making ice... Two cubic foot microwave deemed un-repairable after just 2 years. They agreed to replace it, but they dont make a 2.0 anymore, we could get a 1.75 cubic foot. Ok, but that unit is cheaper than the one its replacing, are we getting money back? You guessed it, no. They will add 3 months to the original warranty - TAKE IT, YOULL NEED IT!!! We were without a microwave for six weeks while waiting for Frigidaire and Lowes to communicate with one another. As I am typing this, its been almost a week since weve been able to use the gas range after it filled our home with gas. The nice man from the gas company put a DANGER tag on it and shut the gas supply to it. Frigidaire service said someone would be out the next day to look at it, but weve been down that road many, many times and we knew no one would be out the next day. Called the service company and, sure enough, earliest appointment was two weeks out. Call Frigidaire back and said we cant be without a range for two weeks. They said they would escalate to scheduling team, I said, You need to authorize a replacement now. No, we only escalate. I need to talk to a manager. Get Angela on the phone, shes like a parrot and says the same things over and over again. She promised a call back with status the next day, never heard from her again. Called her and left messages twice, no response. If you are reading this and am wondering if my wife and I would recommend Frigidaire appliances... Wed ask you why would you want to do that to yourself? If you just have to have smudge-proof stainless, never be without the extended contracts. Never. Customer service has only gotten worse over the past eight years and my wife is truly regretting the decision to go with Frigidaire.

Bought a fridge three years ago, and the ice maker has NEVER worked...spent $1,500 on an ice box, and the damn thing doesnt make ice...never has made so much as a cup full! Worst company I have ever tried to deal with. I have now spent about $1,000 on the fool thing, and it still will not make a cube! Save yourselves, do not get a Frigidaire... Worst ever appliance and WORST EVER customer service. Really, just do not buy it!

I purchased a small wine cooler stainless steel 4 years ago. I admit I didnt get the warranty but did expect it to last more than 3 years. Its been sitting in my kitchen unplugged for last year because it stopped cooling. When I called customer service the most unsettling thing about the whole situation is they didnt want to help me and really didnt show any concern that this refrigerator only lasted me 3 years. When I was done telling my story, the customer service rep offered nothing and asked if we are done. What happened to customer service?? I am the person who will be loyal to a company. Its like I took $300 (not sure of exact price) and just threw out the window... I know life isnt fair but this is just wrong.

While running dishwasher I could smell something burning. Pulled it out and the bottom was in flames. Called and Frigidaire service rep came out and I was charged the service call only to tell me it was burnt beyond repair. They sure were not concerned that I could have lost my home. REALLY DO YOU THINK I WOULD EVER BUY THAT MAKE AGAIN? I WILL MAKE IT A POINT TO LET MANY PEOPLE KNOW HOW CONCERNED YOU ALL ARE.

We bought a new Frigidaire range and the oven door handle fell off right after one year warranty. The problem is, we seldom use oven, at most 20 times a year. And it conveniently broke after one year warranty. Yesterday, the entire oven outer door with glass fell off while nobody used range at the time. It was scary, especially since we have young children walking by. Bad workmanship. Horrible experience!

My electric range is less than two years old. After doing a self clean the oven stops working. The repair costs me a whopping $352.15 to replace the control panel (EOC and overlay). The service technician admits that on these models the relays start arcing and routinely burn out after a self clean cycle. If that happened with a car it would be recalled but we appliance buyers have to endure this kind of nonsense!? No fair! And this model is recommended by Consumer Reports? Oh puhleese!

We bought our Frigidaire dishwasher in August 2019. Immediately, the 3rd rack, top rack was difficult to close, constantly getting hung up on the upper spin arm. Well, the spin arm fell off, we needed to order a new one, and remove the upper rack permanently. This past spring, the connection hose leaked, my husband replaced that as well. 5 days after the warranty expired (1 year warranty) the middle spray arm fell off. There is absolutely no way to reattach it. I tried contacting Frigidaire, but calling them just runs you in circles, back through the same recorded loop. Chat on line does not work at all. I emailed on September 5th, and response back was they were getting higher than normal volume of emails, theyll get back to me when they can! No response in 3 weeks from the email. I went on their Facebook page to comment on the lack of customer service and that their dishwasher is a waste of money. I noticed a message box open and have been conversing with someone at the company. On 9/17 they messaged me that they would have a repair person come out and the company would cover labor and parts, offered this as a one time only, since it was out of warranty for 5 days when it broke again. I have not heard back from them, gave them dates that were convenient for us, which Frigidaire requested. Today is September 25th, and I am not getting any response when I message Frigidaire. So we wasted quite a bit of money, will never buy or recommend Frigidaire to anyone. I now need to replace this crap piece of equipment.
