We bought this refrigerator and the noise of the unit is very loud. The unit works perfectly but because of its design the unit produces more noise from its compressor than any refrigerator Ive ever heard. If I knew this I would have opted for a different refrigerator. The so-called stainless steel is not stainless steel and if at any time the protective finish is compromised on inside or outside it will rust. Its not right that you can say stainless steel and the metal is not stainless steel. To prove this point you should not be able to have strong magnetic properties with stainless steel because of the lack of iron in the material and yet the so-called stainless steel does work as well as plain steel which will rust. I hope this helps other unsuspecting consumers when they meet with fraudulent marketing tactics that we all must deal with more than ever today.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator 2 weeks ago. From the moment I plugged it in it started making loud sounds from the coolant pump. Ever hear whales under water? Followed by knocking sounds like somebody knocking on your door. I thought maybe a couple days would help get the coolant circulating & the sounds would diminish. They did not. After contacting Frigidaire Customer Service they informed me I could call out a repair service & if they did not find anything wrong I would be charged for the call. Since the unit does do what its supposed to what would there be to fix, sounds? So I tried to return it to the store only to be 7 days too late for returns after only 2 weeks! I gambled on Frigidaire & lost! $500 is not easy to come by! DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE!

Weve had this oven for four months now. It takes 30-40 minutes to preheat (to 350 or 400 degrees). The stench of resin from assembly, that the instructions promised would go away after a couple of uses, has still not gone away after 30+ uses. The racks for the oven are too narrow (or the walls of the oven are warped/poorly made). If you set a medium size casserole dish on the racks (with food in it)... the rack can fall out of its supports. I keep thinking to myself; how long have manufacturers been making ovens? Is it really that hard to provide an appliance this simple without design, manufacturing, and quality control flaws?

I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator back in November 2011. It had the refrigerator on top and the freezer drawer was on the bottom. The Icemaker that dispensed ice was up in the freezer section. I found a couple weeks ago after pulling the refrigerator out to investigate something that there was a chunk of ice that had eaten its way through the back of the refrigerator and was rusting up all around it. When the repairman came out, he said it was a common defect found with this model (#FGHB2844LF7) because Frigidaire had not put any sealant around the ice maker so the air from the fridge was making direct contact with the air in the ice maker and was causing ice buildup in the ice maker which built up over time. The result was that the build up of ice ate a hole through the back of the refrigerator and that it was losing efficiency. The worst part was that as the ice would melt and drip down over time, it was slowly working into the wood floor and causing it to warp. If you have this product, I would look into this to ensure you dont have the issue. The repairman said this product should have been recalled years ago.

DO NOT BUY THIS for $2000. It has broken every 2-4 months for as long as I have owned it. It is refrigerator, but the bad design AND bad craftsmanship - I am sure all of the devices they sell under this (Chinese made) name are junk. DO NOT BUY IT. Get a better Chinese/Korean one like LG or Samsung.

I have a Frigidaire affinity front loading dryer. I bought the Frigidaire dryer that has a lint catcher in the front. The screen frame has large plastic taps at each side to prevent the screen from sliding to far in the slot. I cannot count how many times I have had clothes ripped, straps torn off and ruined by getting caught on the lint screen tabs. I have had a professional look at it. I have called on this issue and I am told there is nothing basically that can be done except I can purchase dryer bags used for pantyhose to place my clothes in to protect them. And the dryer screen is lose and allows lint to pass through the slot meant to catch the lint. This has resulted now in the dryer over heating and the element burning out in the dryer. Again, why did I purchase this dryer?

Clayton NC. This Frigidaire Electric Range Model FFEF3054TS Serial # VF84808468 was purchased new in December 2018. On October 30, 2019 at 9:30 pm, the range glass door exploded. It sounded like all the kitchen cabinets had fallen off the wall. The range door outer glass exploded nearly 12 feet and was all over everything. The oven was not in use and have not been used frequently.Called Frigidaire the next morning. Technician came the next week. He said this was unusual and would recommend replacement of same glass! I advised this range door glass is a hazard and too dangerous to put back and risk another explosion. If someone had been in front of the door or near it when it exploded, it would have caused serious injuries. Told him to put same glass back was not acceptable. I call Frigidaire customer service and management said they would only replace same glass and give 3 months extended warranty. I would never buy or trust another Frigidaire product. Frigidaire has this problem before, looking at other reviews. Buyer beware.

We purchased a brand new house in March but the oven has been having issues. The technicians came to our house for several times to replace the motherboard then the wirings. Now we are having issue again on the temperature control. We are asking for replacement the last time we called customer service last month due to several problems arising with the brand new oven for four months but they refused. Our oven is rarely used. We only used it for heating pizza. It is just frustrating because we have all these issues/problems with the brand new oven which was rarely used. There wouldnt be any issues like these if they have thorough quality control. They kept on telling us that they will not replace it because it is still repairable but we are not technicians. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING APPLIANCES ESPECIALLY FRIGIDAIRE/ELECTROLUX.

I have owned several stainless steel refrigerators. Whirlpool and GE never had any issues with the stainless steel. The last one I owned I had 10 years and it was placed in the same location in my house with no problems and no rust at all. The Frigidaire I owned less then 2 years and the entire front of both doors are covered in rust. No fault of my own. This they consider to be cosmetic. Absolutely ridiculous. Its cheap quality stainless or a defect. Either way I would not recommend anything stainless steel from frigidaire. They will not back up their products.

I just ran across this website and had to give my review of Frigidaire appliances that I bought as a full set for a kitchen overhaul. The oven door was the first hint of quality issues. I discovered a spot of rust around the oven window but underneath the coating. It was visible but still felt smooth. I called Frigidaire support and they said it was out of warranty and I must be allowing moisture to get inside the door. I advised them that while I was aware that moisture causes oxidation I was having trouble with the concept of maintaining sufficient moisture upon a vertical surface on the door of an appliance that creates heat being the cause of the oxidation. They finally offer to replace the door skin but only if I used the approved appliance vendor that charges $90 per hour. The skin was only a little over $100 so I decided to save my money towards the purchase of higher quality appliances. My next issue was the microwave which caught on fire at slightly less than three years of age. Based on my previous experience I did not bother to call customer service and was just thankful that once the wiring burned up the fire extinguished itself. (BTW I did not replace the microwave with a Frigidaire, duh!) The final comment is that I just lost a burner on the stove top. The Frigidaire appliances are about 5 years old now. I cant help but reflect on the 30 year old electric GE range on which I never replaced anything.

I purchase Frigidaire Gallery appliances in 2013 and did not purchase the extended warranty. I assume the appliances will go bad, my new stove of 4 years died, my refrigerator of 4 years got a ticking noise coming from it, dont know how long my dishwasher will last, dont use it every day like my other appliances. I would advised DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS, THEY ARE NOT GOOD. Frigidaire knows this, that is why they will push customers to purchase a warranty. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE PRODUCTS FROM FRIGIDAIRE. Also I called customer service, and was told I should have purchase that warranty, so this tells me that is making substandard products, and not only do they make money on the product, they are making it on the warranties as well. Shame on you Frigidaire.

I love my fridge, I've had it for 25 yrs+, with only one $25.00 problem - the thermostat went bad @ 12 yrs ago. I fixed it myself. It works, and still looks like new after all these years. It's a double door white in color Frigidaire. If it broke down today, I couldn't complain. I don't know if they still make them as well as this one anymore, but it has been great. We were deceived, as consumers, in purchasing a Frigidaire Professional (fridge) in June 2013. In less than 3 years of normal use, the appliance broke down. Many parts associated with the low-pressure header to the heat exchanger, as well as the heat exchanger, had to be replaced. The cost of the appliance was expensive and not of quality. The cost of repair was also expensive, close to $700 CAD since it was no longer covered by the ridiculously short 1-year warranty of the manufacturer. We are taking the battle using legal action against Electrolux as we could not get any decent level of service from them or their accredited repair company (South Shore of Montreal). Not-so-professional. Be careful!

Now I have to toss this out like a toaster. Here is a tip, dont buy from Sears and do not purchase any Frigidaire appliances!!

After 2 weeks, the microwave door stopped working properly and shortly thereafter, the microwave stopped working. I purchased the Frigidaire Gallery Series: Side by Side Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Gas/Convection Stove and Microwave. Each have problems that continue to this day: *Refridgerator - Control panel LEDs faded so it was unreadable, tech replaced the panel but the fridge had a Quick Ice feature when new but the tech replaced it without the quick ice feature.*Dishwasher- failed to operate at all. Tech replaced the control strip with washer selections but later found that this was not the problem. It needed the controller inside the door panel which he didnt have and had to order one. Waited two weeks for it to be replaced. Takes multiple attempts to get the washer turned on for cleaning. # Stove initial delivery came damaged. Replaced but after awhile gas smells emanate while using the oven, seems to be a chronic issue with this appliance. *Microwave - sounds tinny and cooks unevenlyI signed up with Frigidaire website and noted all of the above. Attempted to see if there was a response to my entry and found none. There was never any contact from them. Prior to that I posted my dissatisfaction on Facebook and received a message from a person that might have been a customer rep. When I attempted to contact this person I could not find the message again on Facebook. The issues all the appliances remain the same today. The oven is rarely used due to the gas smells/leaks. I understand that it might be an issue with a baffle??? I am totally dissatisfied with these appliances and even more so with Frigidaire/Electrolux lack of ownership of the brand and non-responsiveness from them as a company.

My ice maker from my Frigidaire refrigerator has never worked properly. It never stops making ice unless I manually shut it off. Then it started spitting out ice all connected and huge chunks. Then one day my daughter and husband were getting ice from the ice maker and noticed right before drinking it small and large pieces of plastic in their water. The dispenser broke as the ice went through and the cracked plastic. Ive contacted Frigidaire and they try to avoid what I tell them by saying sorry your ice maker is not working. No... We have had the refrigerator for less than one year. The ice maker leaks into the refrigerator and the ice becomes one. The ice maker was replaced one time and three times it is either a new gasket or this time they used silicone to seal it. The fourth time was Saturday, April 30, 2016. He used an adhesive to complete the seal. By Sunday, May 1, 2016, it was leaking again. There is a serious flaw in this refrigerator. Please do not purchase this model refrigerator. Do not purchase Frigidaire. The last call to them was I dont open the refrigerator enough to let warm air in. Such an unprofessional company. Move on. There are so many reputable companies. I am trying to get the refrigerator replaced. CONSUMER BEWARE!

I just want to let you know about Frigidaire products! I purchased an entire kitchen suite one year ago, the Frigidaire Professional Series. Within four months, the refrigerator broke. When the repairman came, he said he couldnt fix it, and I was issued a new refrigerator. However, since they had to get it from the original place I purchased them, I had to wait about a week for the replacement. Oh, and no, they did not replace any of my food, which I lost. They told me that is not covered! Less than a year after the purchase, the dishwasher began to leak all over my pergo floor, so I had the repairman come, which luckily, it was still under warranty. Less than one month later, on Christmas eve, when I had all of my Christmas eve dinner plates in the dishwasher ready to wash, once again, the floor flooded, leaving me with a bunch of dirty dishes, and a flooded floor. Nice, right? Its just what everyone wants to do for the holidays! I called the repairman, but I also contacted Frigidaire to see if they were going to stand behind their products, and they told me they couldnt pay for the labor, because the warranty was over by about three weeks! Really, are you kidding me? They finally agreed, after I threw a fit, that they would cover the repair of the dishwasher. I had, for 11 years previous to this, Sears Kenmore products, and never had the repairman at my house for them! I am so surprised that Electrolux would even be connected with such terrible products! I wouldnt purchase a toaster if it had Frigidaire on it! I have sent an email to their corporate office, and hopefully one of them will have the decency to call me, regarding their products.

I purchased the Gallery Series of appliances. To date, the range, dishwasher and refrigerator have all needed repairs (the dishwasher and refrigerator needed repairs within 1 year of purchase). The latest is the stove... about 1 month ago the smooth top range began to smoke from the back of the unit near the control knobs and about a week later the stove began to beep and would not stop beeping. Now the stove will only heat to 200 degrees while beeping continuously and the oven will shut off, the continuous beeping continues.I contacted Frigidaire and was told the stove was no longer in warranty... that I could purchase the expensive Extended warranty for this product. I purchased the warranty offered and was told the warranty was sold in error and that they would not honor the warranty because this is now considered a pre-existing condition. The real question is Why does a basically new appliance not hold up to less than normal use and is broken down, considered USELESS after two years. This is a fire hazard and this company has no real interest in the customer after they sell the appliance to you. They do have a high interest in PUSHING their expensive extended warranties off on you as though they already know the appliances will break down within one to two years of purchase.

I have a warranty on my washer and dryer (purchased new 3 years ago). The washing machine recently stopped working so I called Frigidaire to utilize my warranty coverage. They dispensed a company called ABCO to my home on 7-9-16. The technician was nice and advised he would be getting the part within 3 days (M-W). I never heard back from them. I left a total of 4 messages with the last one last night (7-19-16). The receptionist or maybe temporary worker was extremely rude, very unprofessional, and had the vocabulary of an uneducated child. She argued she did not receive any messages. Perhaps she did not hit play on the answering machine (yes, answering machine). After arguing, I called Frigidaire to advise their sub was useless and I wanted them nowhere near my home. I now have a new company coming 7-25 and I hope they can do what ABCO could not.

We purchased our convection oven, quite expensive, a year ago. Have loved it until the last cleaning. I had a pie run over and I did follow directions of scrapping what I could get off of it. I then ran the self cleaning cycle and when I looked, it was burnt in that area and a dent showed up. I had contacted them before about sending me information on extending the warranty which never showed up in my mailbox. When I called to get a repair service recommendation to come out, as it was still under a year, there were none in my area. So what good is a warranty if no one is in area to fix or look at it? The floor of the oven had to be defective or this wouldnt have happened. I owned a GE before for 3 years and when we sold the house it looked as new as the day we moved in. I followed the directions and this is what happened. I will not recommend Frigidaire to any of our friends.

We bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator/top freezer about 2 months ago. (Model FFTR2021QW1). The freezer shelf sags when I put as little as 2 pieces of meat on there. A sagging shelf means half the freezer space is lost. And when I tried filling my freezer like normal - with things evenly spaced - the whole thing nearly collapsed. The companys customer service rots. So far the answers we got were, and I quote: my mom has the same refrigerator (truthfully, I dont really care); so dont put anything on the shelf (really now! So why did I buy this size model refrigerator/freezer? Or maybe the shelf is just for illustrative purposes only?); and get this: its supposed to sag. (Huh? For what purpose?). Basically, after a week of runarounds, Frigidaire wiped themselves clean from the fact that there is a defect in the shelf. I am so frustrated because now I have a completely user UNfriendly freezer.

I purchased a Frigidaire microwave on November 2018, October of 2019. The microwave rack caught on fire. I filed a claim with Frigidaire. They sent a technician to my home who never opened the panel. He sprayed it with spray paint changed the hook. The microwave now knocks the power out in my kitchen. I spoke to a corporate supervisor who sent another technician out who was very rude, stated he was not working behind another technician, he should have done the job right the first time and he left my home. I called the supervisor back, she sent another technician out. He opened the microwave, took pictures, referred back to his phone and it still doesn’t work. He stated it may have to be taken back to the shop. He left without the microwave. I called his office back and was told he ordered more parts which was not what he stated to me. I called the supervisor back and she stated that she would need to send another technician out. I explained how angry I am at this point. I feel that no one not even the corporate supervisor cared about me or my families safety are danger. And I will never purchase another Frigidaire product and I will be sharing my experience with everyone who I know and more. Anytime the corporate Supervisor told me to take the microwave back to Home Depot and they would have to take it back once they hear my frustration is said, not only did she lie she knew she was brushing me off. Still unresolved. Truly dissatisfied former customer.

Hi. I am a Frigidaire owner of many appliances. In August of this year I purchased a refrigerator from Lowe’s. 2 1/2 months later it stopped cooling. Frigidaire sent a repairman who after speaking with their tech department decided there was a leak in the internal hot gas loop which is located on the inside of the unit and could not be replaced so they suggested he put an external part on the back of the unit that would bypass the internal unit. I asked for a replacement refrigerator because it was a makeshift repair on a 2 month old refrigerator. I was told they would not replace it and this was the best they could do. I’m very disappointed with the way this was handled and will now look for a different brand of appliance in the future!!

My Frigidaire Professional series dishwasher model PLD4375RFC0 started flashing the ER error code this month, exactly 4 years after it was installed new in 2007. It is now unusable and I have to leave the door open slightly because if it is closed, it will turn itself on at random. I have searched the internet and seen others with the same model have the same problem. I researched the parts affected and along with labor, it will be about half the cost of the dishwasher when it was new. I have a Frigidaire microwave, stove, and fridge also and now I am waiting for those to start failing. I will be replacing the dishwasher with another brand in the hope that I can squeeze more than 4 years out of it, but from the way things are made today, who knows.

My wife and I purchased new appliances for a kitchen redo. We bought a top-of-the-line stainless Frigidaire dishwasher. 18 months after installation, a control board burned out, a $280 repair charge. I contacted Frigidaire Customer Service and received what looked like a form letter telling me Frigidaire offers very comprehensive warranties with each product to guard against parts that may be defective at the time of manufacture. Needless to say, since it was older than 12 months, there was nothing they were willing to do for me. I understand that things sometimes happen, but what matters to me is what customer service is willing to do to make a situation like this right. My advice to potential buyers would be to stay clear of any Frigidaire products.

Now Im waiting for something to go wrong with the stove and fridge. I would caution everyone to steer away from Frigidaire products as they should last longer than a couple of years.

Through Home Depot in early Oct. 2013, I bought a Frigidaire pedestal for matching washer. I am tall and my back occasionally does not allow for easy bending, so I need the height w/ my front-loading Frigidaire washer. In placing items in the pedestal drawer, I slashed my finger on a razor sharp edge. There is no warning label on this product. I went to Home Depot; their associate phoned Frigidaire right in front of me to explain the problem. I personally spoke to them on her phone. They tried to discredit me immediately, saying I did not cut myself on the drawer edge - that I must have put (my) hand between bottom of washer and top of drawer. I later tried this, and my hand cannot fit in there. I repeatedly stated that the drawer was open, and my hands were inside, filling the drawer. Frigidaires answer was to send a local repair man, and he put a piece of black electrical tape over the edge and wrote on the receipt that this is a temporary fix. Frigidaire has copy of this. A day later, the tape was dangling - there must be some residue causing tape to not adhere. Long story short, in late Dec., after many complaints by me to both parties, Home Depot delivered to me another Frigidaire pedestal. I immediately checked, and it had the same razor sharp edge. I requested the store to take it back. The Home Depot manager, Dave, was away, but I was told by store staff they were told to check it for dents and scratches and knew nothing about any sharp edge - Dave never spoke to me or called me after that, so I now will not shop there, and had spent $1,000s each month there on home renovations - they are so big, so dont care. Worse, the manager on duty, Art, called it a little rough and acted like it was no big deal. To me, it IS a big deal. After cancer surgery, I am missing lymph nodes and was told to be very careful about any cuts, because I have greater chance for infection. I told both parties this. Frigidaire does not care about product safety or customer satisfaction, just dumping inferior products into the marketplace. I spoke to one of their associates who is diabetic, so she understands about the seriousness, but they refuse to do anything to properly make my product safe or to replace it with a SAFE product. I also told them they need a hazard warning label on the product - 2nd one arrived w/ none. I spent a LOT of money for their washer (the second one I bought, since I sold my house and my buyer wanted my older one). This means nothing to Frigidaire, because they know getting a lawyer will cost more than buying a second product from their competitors, so I wasted money and lots of time and effort with them. As a retiree on a small pension, I dont have money to waste. All I wanted was a safe pedestal, and both prefer to lose my business. Frigidaire deserves to be sued for product failure.

I purchased the stove on 4/19/2010 from Lowes. When baking a pizza, the inside glass door shattered into pieces. Frigidaire is only willing to pay for the part - not labor. I paid $1,700 for defective merchandise. I will never purchase another Frigidaire appliance. What a rip off. Shame on them for not standing behind the product.

I have been trying to contact Frigidaire about a problem with the ice maker in my less than one year old really expensive French door refrigerator. I have never gotten anyone on the phone. I finally got the company, Lowes, to send someone out to look at the fridge. They contacted Frigidaire and they said they wouldnt fix it and that its working properly. Im in tears over spending $2,000 on an appliance that is crap from a company that is cheap and wont answer their phone. I have no idea what to do at this point.

BUYER BEWARE! In March of 2015 I purchased all new Frigidaire smudge proof appliances, spending almost $6,000.00. I am not impressed at all. Right off the bat, I had an issue with the dishwasher. It was not drying the dishes, I had to manually dry the dishes as I put them away. After several days, I knew something was wrong, so I contacted Lowes (where I purchased them) and they made an appointment for a Frigidaire service call. The gentleman that came out to check it out, was a little surprised to see there was no fan or blower located in the dishwasher which normally dries the dishes, so he contacted Frigidaire for repairs.Needless to say, I was told by the Frigidaire folks that The dishwasher was working the way that it was meant to. With the new technology no blower or fan is needed. What you need to do is after the cycle runs, (which takes about 126 mins or so on a normal cycle) you must open the door and let the hot steam out so the dishes can dry. REALLY??? LOL, I run my dishwasher at night while sleeping, if they think Im going to get up at 2 in the morning to open the dishwasher door so the dishes can dry they are nuts. If this is Frigidaires new technology, I suggest they go back to the old way. (Not happy.)Next is the Refrigerator. The Ice maker is horrible. You can stand there for several minutes and IF youre lucky an small ice cube will dispense into the glass. By the time you get an entire glass of ice, its already melting in the glass. And forget it if you need a lot of ice (ex: in an ice tea maker) it does not make enough ice for that. (Not happy.)Lastly is the Range. After 2 weeks, which I used it 3 times I noticed little bubbles started to appear on the smooth top range. At first I thought it was dirty so I used the little pad and the bottle of cleaner that came with the Range, but to my dismay I realized the smooth top is bubbling, so again I contacted Frigidaire and they sent someone out for a service call. The gentleman looked at it and took photos to send in for review. After 3 weeks, when I had not heard anything I contacted Frigidaire. I was told that some how I had damaged the top and they would replace the top, but I would have to pay almost $200.00 for the part!!! Wait a minute, I had only used it 3 times, and did not scrap it or spill over on it or anything, how could I have damaged it??? First of all I had a Whirlpool smooth top range for 20 yrs, and never did the top bubble like this, and YES, I did spill things on that from time to time. So I guess this means that Frigidaire ranges are not able to handle any normal spills! (Not happy.) The only good thing that I can say about this product, is the smudge proof coating, yes that is a nice feature. Will I ever buy another Frigidaire product - ABSOLUTELY NOT! Will I ever recommend a Frigidaire product - ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Run, dont walk away from this deplorable company. I replaced ALL my kitchen appliances October 2016 with the Frigidaire Gallery series through Home Depot. Ive had 5 service calls on the refrigerator. The last serviceman advised me, Thats just the way it was made, theres nothing I can do. My most recent complaint was the handle on the dishwasher is rusting! After 22 minutes on hold I was told by the customer service rep that, If you look on page 22 on your owner’s manual, you will see that rust inside and outside the unit is not covered. After speaking with a manager, as a goodwill gesture she mailed me a new handle. Really. Goodwill? Why dont you manufacture decent products and goodwill would be implied. Consider yourselves forewarned. Dont be foolish. Dont spend your money on Frigidaire appliances.

My 3 months old wall oven has a broken seal on the inner glass door. Called these guys a couple months ago and its been a back and forth of he said she said. Basically they claim that this is not under warranty because it is considered a Cosmetic issue. How is a door malfunctioning a cosmetic issue? Arent the glasses supposed to keep the temperature at certain level? By the way, the company providing the services are asking for a part for the seal. UNBELIEVABLE. A SEAL for the door and they dont want to pay for it. WOW. For a 1500 appliance, they do not want to cover the cost to repair a damn seal. Make sure you think 5 times before you get something from them. Seriously. So cheap....

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing all new appliances for my kitchen.....Ive been a Frigidaire user in the past and loved the quality of the appliances. I was concerned about some comments on this site, so I investigated other sites and stores. I am extremely happy with the new smudge-proof stainless Professional Series appliances. With 9 grandchildren and a house at the beach these appliances take a beating. Ice maker is amazing....constant ice and quick too!..Range looks and works great...perfect temp rate. Dishwasher is quiet and cleans very well...I got the plastic tub as I always had a problem with wet tub and wet dishes with the stainless interior and I am happy with the choice. Finally, the micro....did have to have service out as soon as we installed...It was due to a loose interior part.....Fixed in 5 minutes by a very professional looking/acting repairman. So, I would recommend the Frigidaire products.....Price is great, products look stylish, and work very well. I did get extended warranty...just in case. Compared with my kids Sub Zero and GE Profile products.......I got the best deal!

I purchased a new double wall oven in Oct. 2012, and was generally happy with it. The first time we tried to use the self-cleaning feature, after several months, after a while running the self clean, the oven showed an error code and then shut down. It worked fine otherwise, but we have not been able to self clean. In the past month, we have started getting the same error code (F43) when using the oven for regular cooking as well. Although we could tolerate the lack of cleaning, we are now trying to fix. Frigidaire initially would not help, as we are out of the 1-year warranty period. Then they offered to pay for parts, provided we use an authorized service technician. They sent me the 3 service technicians in my area, and 2/3 did not return my phone call. The third came out and reported that the labor alone to fix the oven would be over $400, requiring replacing of a fan and a sensor. I contacted Frigidaire again, expressing my dissatisfaction with the oven, and telling them I didnt see a reason that a new oven should require these new parts, as well as being unhappy with being forced to use a particular service company, who seemed to be charging a very large amount. Completely unhappy experience, and I will not be buying a Frigidaire again.

I am absolutely DISGUSTED with the treatment this company has given me. STAY AWAY FROM FRIGIDAIRE!!!! We got an in wall unit last year. They gave us a faulty unit that did not work straight from the box, and had to be replaced with a new one straight after buying it. Barely over a year later, in July, it stopped working again (was not blowing cold). I called Frigidaire for our warranty. They assigned an AC repair company to us. I called this AC professional to set an appointment. On the phone, keep in mind this guy has not seen our AC, our place, or has any idea what the issue is, and he immediately is saying we probably ** it up somehow and its our fault and there is probably nothing they will be able to do.... DUDE YOU HAVENT EVEN SEEN IT YET?!?!!?!? Super rude, condescending, and childish. He was supposed to come out one day, calls an hour into the absurd 8 hour time frame, and says that there are no other appointments in my area, and they are gonna come tomorrow instead. Really? Just because the drive is not worth it for you, you are gonna say eh ** it? Comes next day, and immediately tells me I am improperly dressed and I need to change because I was in shorts... my shorts covered everything important, and were completely appropriate. And even then, MY ** AC IS BROKEN IN JULY AND IM SWEATING LIKE CRAZY. How dare you judge me in my own home! After 2 minutes, he repeats everything he said on the phone, gives me no detailed explanation as to how we messed it up, tells me his signature line he used on the phone, you need to do your research, and leaves. Called my warranty company. The lady calls him to hear his side of the story, he talked over her, yelled at her, and hung up on her. She told me no matter what I did or didnt do, if the AC is malfunctioning, he was required to fix it because it was covered by our warranty. And she is immediately sent me a new company to work with, and said she will definitely be letting management know. Completely ridiculous. So now they send us a NEW guy. He was friendly, recognized the problem, and took the AC. His estimated time frame was 2 weeks. IT HAS BEEN 3 MONTHS!!!! It is almost halfway into fall at this point!!! Frigidaire has done NOTHING to speed up the process. I have been calling non stop. In OCTOBER they are just now telling me that my issue will not be fixed under warranty because the FIRST AC guy said my AC suffered abuse. I demanded the woman call the AC PEOPLE THAT HAVE MY AC!!!! I explained to the woman on the phone the first AC company is NOT even a legitimate company, and that he currently has multiple lawsuits for improper service on ACs. She checked with MY REAL AC company. They stated there was no such abuse or improper installment as stated. FRIGIDAIRE MAY THINK THEY CAN SCAM ME BUT NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. There is nothing I would want more than to get my money back.

Purchased a new Frigidaire Gallery Dishwasher. Leaked from Day 1. Frigidaire sent a serviceman to replace the door gaskets. Still leaks. Notified them that it was still leaking. Volunteer Appliance Service who was sent by Frigidaire gave us the run around for weeks then got rude when we could not be available when they wanted to come back to replace the same parts they had already replaced. So Volunteer refused to do the repair and called Frigidaire. So Frigidaire called us to let us know they had VOIDED the warranty on the month old dishwasher and said it would be another 3 weeks or month to have it repaired. They offered NO customer service to us - their customer and defended the rude and inefficient behavior of the repair company. We will never purchase a Frigidaire appliance again and would advise others to choose another brand.

I recently ordered two replacement drawers for my refrigerator directly from Frigidaire. The junky plastic ones they came with broke. At $43 a piece and $11 shipping, I had a hard time buying replacements but I decided to splurge. When the parts came, they were the wrong parts. I looked at the packing slip which said, very clearly, to repackage the items and use the included shipping label to ship them back. If the problem was with the shipper, they would reimburse me for the return shipping. I did exactly as asked and shipped them back. The shipping cost $27.80. After I sent them, I called to let them know and ask how to submit the cost of the shipping for reimbursement. I had paid extra for tracking, as the company had recommended on the shipping form.I waited on hold for almost an hour before I spoke to someone who said that they would not be able to reimburse me for shipping because I needed to call them FIRST. In the 1), 2), 3) list of things to do to make a return, calling them first was never mentioned. I asked to speak to a manager. None were available. Purchased Frigidaire gas wall oven model FFGW2415QS Serial AF71303898 on 4/24/2017 at Home Depot. Oven stopped working 4/30/2018. Have contract with our gas co, they installed igniter. Stopped working 5/15/2019, another igniter installed 5/19, 2 months later stopped again, this time they installed Frigidaire igniter. Oven stopped working 6/30/20 another igniter installed 8/20, stopped again, installed a valve, 2 weeks later stopped again, another igniter. Stopped working 12/25 while cooking Xmas dinner. Had repair here today, they ordered wire & new panel. Advised if this doesn’t work contact mfg. I have called at least 15 times, sent 4 emails, only response I received was to purchase a new service contract! Today I chatted with a Christa, she wants service records which I called for already, however, I asked to chat with a manager. Brandi came on, she is manager of Digital Team, wants records of service calls. Understand, but to get sarcastic on chat. Seven (7) service calls in less than 3 years. Five during pandemic, that was reason why I tried to wait for service. The oven is not used every day, never in summer as grill is used for everything. Reason why calls are so high per Brandi not fully staffed due to covid. Meanwhile consumer has difficulty trying to address our problems.

I purchase a Washer and Dryer in Dec-2008 with extended warranty from Sears. Last year Electrolux / Frigidaire sent me a letter to purchase an extended warranty for two years if I wish. I had call them and purchase the warranty. I called them in May-2016 to check my unit for noise. They sent a tech who says nothing wrong. Few days later I received a call from their Customer service to verify my SN since the one they have under contract is not matching. I did and sure enough they have a different serial number on the contract. Now they want to cancel the contract and have me purchase a new contract and pay for the service call. They also said that I should have verified the serial number on the new offer that came from their company and it is my mistake. A corporation like Frigidaire should be more organized and can fix this type of issues and not pointing to consumer. I spent more than 6 hours on the phone trying to work with multiple customer service Managers with no solution. It seems that they just want to steal your Money and not do any service.

I bought my fridge at Teppermans in Windsor. The staff were hard to find and when I did they disregarded my questions and made me feel like I was bothering them because I was multi buying for a discount, I had to tell them it was on sale as they didnt recognize the sale and were trying to tell me they were not on sale until after about 3 sales people tried to find the sale on it and embarrassed me as if I was lying or trying to get it cheaper than regular price and that it was a cheaper brand, I finally proved them right and they didnt apologise, They thought they can make me pay the price on the sticker. I was so upset and wonder how many customers they do that to. My fridge had many problems and they would not fix it. In February 2018, after seven years of owning a basic cheap model dishwasher (that was working fine), we decided to upgrade to a Frigidaire dishwasher. What an awful mistake; our nice, new, fancy dishwasher stopped working this week. We had a repairman out and were informed that the dishwasher needed a new motor. That is absolutely ridiculous - the dishwasher gets very little usage but is now totally useless to us. Do not, do not, DO NOT purchase a Frigidaire dishwasher. Frigidaire has been in business for years and you would think they would have gotten it right by now. When I was growing up there were a few products that everyone loved: Frigidaire, Tupperware and S&H Green Stamps. (I am really dating myself) S&H Green Stamps are long gone, Tupperware is almost exclusively online and Frigidaire no longer equals quality. What a sham and a shame.

Frigidaire (Electrolux) wanted to repair the New unit. After arguing it was replaced by retailer not Frigidaire. 6/16/17 Stopped working, retailer would not replace it, Frigidaire sent repair tech a week later, same problem as first unit. Part ordered, repair tech installed, didnt start, etc. 8/1/17 Today 1.5 months of calls speaking Supervisors they are still stating they will find a repair company to fix the unit. Summer will be over before it’s fixed. I have emailed, Chatted, pleaded and cried. Even offered to accept a buyout of the unit (cost $600) at 50% less since I have had to purchase a replacement. Within the second year the dryer, washer, and dishwasher all broke again. This time the repair bill was going to be on us and not cheap. We decided to replace all 3 appliances with Maytag and Kitchenaid. We have never had a problem with these brands.Fast forward to 4.5 years later and our Frigidaire refrigerator caught fire! Had to call fire department. The compressor caught fire and all the electrical is burned up. We have on order a new refrigerator from GE. Never will I ever buy a Frigidaire appliance again!!! We purchased a new double oven in fall of 2010. Within the first 6 months we noticed that the upper oven starting burning everything - even after just a few minutes. We called for service and it was found that the upper oven had warped and as a result, the entire stove was replaced as no expense to us. In September of 2013 we noticed that the racks in the lower oven were not longer safe. They had to be balanced and fell if any weight was put on them. I called for service and the tech came out to tell us that the lower oven cavity would have to be replaced. This is less than a 2 year old stove - and my 2nd problem with the ovens expanding. I contacted Fridgidaires customer service who at first were not helpful at all because it was beyond the 1 year warranty. I tried to express my concern about the safety and asked about liability if the rack fell and someone was burned...they then indicated that the oven could be repaired but it was very labor intense and as a gesture, they would pay for the parts if we paid for labor. Getting quotes of several hundreds of dollars, we decided to replace the stove with a different brand at our expense. I had contacted Fridgidaire to see if they would like the stove back to research how it can fail twice in less than 3 years but they told me to dispose of it. So after spending $1600 for a new Gallery series Double oven - I am left with trash at the curb after less than 2 years (on the replacement oven). I am disgusted and mad that Fridgidaire was so complacent about the failure of their product - not once but TWICE. And my reward was --- it is out of warranty. My prior stove was 12 years old and was never serviced and this piece of crap was serviced multiple times and replaced due to defects. And I am left with the bill... great company - avoid this company at all costs...It will leave you without nothing.

More often than not there are dry spots. We had the repairman out twice and his only solution for the problem was to add a pail of water before starting the machine, so to trick it to think that the weight was more. Also it is the nosiest washer we have ever owned!! It sounds like a cement mixer when it is running. Phone calls to Sears and Frigidaire go unanswered. My $2,400 fridge stopped cooling after only 5 months. I had to call a 3rd party warranty service just to get ahold of Fridigaire! They were closed 2 days after Christmas and wouldnt answer the phones. After the 3rd day I was on hold for 5-10 minutes and would be hung up on due to high volume of calls. After hours of waiting I finally got through. They did send a local technician but he is at the mercy of Frigidaire sending parts. It is the control board apparently. I had to call and was on hold for 45 minutes just to get an answer on time frame. They said 3-5 business days then who knows when the installer can get to it.I tried to file a complaint or speak to a manager and the only option was a complaint that took the man 10 minutes but said there is nothing they can do now. Going on 12 days without a working fridge now. No apology from FA, and they will not answer Twitter or FB messages. They do not have an email or chat either. My advice is to call service lines before buying thousands in appliances and see how their CS is before buying. I would not have bought from FA if I had known their products are as terrible as their service.

I’ve had a “new” microwave for 3 years and during this time I’ve had to call in 4 or 5 service request since it’s not working. Since it’s outside of their warranty, they charge $90 per trip fee. If I want to avoid the trip fee, they want me to pay for an extended warranty. Either way, they want more money. This just tells me they are using a defective product & could care less about the customer experience. Horrible accommodations to a client. For the amount they charge & the number of times they’ve been out, I could have easily purchased another appliance. If it was the 1st or 2nd time, I understand. But at this point it tells me you have incompetent contractors “fixing” an item that should have been replaced & an appliance that messes up this many times in such a short amount of time tells me it’s horribly put together. Trash!

Have a Frigidaire 5-year-old refrigerator. Plastic pieces are breaking and falling off. Dishwasher less than 2 years old, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didnt. Never works now because I got so mad I kicked it. Finally, my laundry center (single unit washer/dryer) broke, actually within the warranty period. Been working with Frigidaire for 6 weeks now trying to get it fixed. Replaced the motherboard, that didnt work. Been trying to get the tech out since. Maybe Monday. They say We have acknowledged your washers problem and are on a path to a resolution. That washes absolutely no clothes.

I purchased this refrigerator in September 2016. The plastic lining, the doors have all cracked due to the cold temperatures. The plastic started cracking within a year of purchase. I previously had a GE for 15 years and never had any problems. This new fridge has plastic pieces hanging off of them and is visibly horrible. I purchased the warranty and they say it is cosmetic so they will not cover. I have called Frigidaire and they want me to purchase new doors. When I asked to escalate they provided me a P.O Box to write a letter in hopes that I would not bother.I cannot believe that I spent so much money on a horrible product that is cheaply made. We have 4 adults living in our home and expect our fridge to last more than a year. I have a claim currently for my ice maker because it jams, stops working and then drips all along the front side of my fridge. Lets see how that goes. I am writing a letter and I will provide an update if they even respond. DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE! They make cheap faulty products and their warranty and service sucks.

I would prefer no stars but unfortunately I was not given that option! I will never again purchase anything made by Frigidaire or their partners. I bought a stop top from them when we built our house 12 years ago. After 7 or 8 years, one of the switches broke. There was no problem with this. But when we called to get the replacement part ($123 plus S&H), what they sent us was not the original part. It had been replaced by a very poor quality universal part. I called to tell them that this part would not last and that I was sure it would break again. Their customer service department gave us no options! Well, a couple of years later, the part did indeed break again. We called CS again and was told that they would be glad to sell us another switch and that a repair technician would have to come and replace it. We would have to pay for that charge as well. After much hassle on the phone, they finally agreed to have him come out at no charge to us, because they thought we were not placing the switch in correctly and that was surely the reason it broke! Well, once again, the switch has broken. Our only recourse is to buy a 3rd switch for another $123 plus S&H. I have several issues with Frigidaire in regards to this issue! First, only one person that I spoke to today even tried to be helpful. I was transferred to multiple people and all of them seemed to be confused as to what they were supposed to be doing. They obviously do not understand what customer service really is. They kept asking me what I wanted from them. I told them the problem again and again and asked for a permanent solution to a very expensive problem! After replacing this switch 3 or 4 times, I could buy a new stop top! Not one person offered to send a new part out for free because of this being an on-going problem! Now, that would have gotten a raving fans review! I understand that they dont want to sell me replacement parts. They want to sell me a new stove top! But that is not what I expect from a company that advertises their products as top of the line and high in performance etc. Secondly, it is a crying shame for them to charge $123 for a small switch that probably cost them $5 or $10 to make! That is price gouging if I have ever heard of it. And the last time I checked, price gouging is illegal! I am so disappointed in this company and it is very unfortunate, because overall, I love the stovetop. When it has to be replaced however, it will definitely not be replaced with another Frigidaire product! I am curious to know if other people have had problems with this replacement switch (part no. 318078200)! This is the first time I have ever rated an experience with such negativity, but this has been the most frustrating situation! By the way, I found the switch on www.knobshopper.com for $29. Now what does that tell you?

I purchased my electric range stove in July of 2019. On January 5th 2020 my stove sounded like a bomb going off. The glass exploded out the top burning my sons face and hair destroying my floor, burned my cabinets and destroyed my above range microwave. I have now been told that this is a normal issue and it is a user error because apparently to much heat or something accidentally boiling over can cause this to happen. I was told that you can find this in the user manual that if it gets to hot or something boils over it can do this. I have been searching this manual to find this B.S. of a statement with no such luck. Frigidaire has been the worst company to deal with and for them to tell us that to much heat on the stove and it exploding is a user error is beyond disgusting. I am thankful that my son was not hurt worse and my house did not burn down. I do not recommend Frigidaire to anyone.

Purchased the Gallery series in 2012. Frigidaire replaced the refrigerator due to multiple issues with the ice maker. The replaced refrigerator now has issues with the ice maker. Called a repair service and they found that the refrigerator is rusting from the inside out showing me a big rust spot that is leaking on the back of my refrigerator. Obviously have a bigger issue than the ice maker. Repairman tried working with a Frigidaire technician sending pictures 2 times with no luck. I called customer service, they wont let me talk to the technician. Told me to call an approved Frigidaire repair service giving me contact info. One place wont return my calls and the other place wont come because they dont want to get involved because it is out of warranty. I dont think it is normal for your refrigerator to rust from the inside out. Seems like a $2,000 refrigerator (replaced in 2013) should last more than 5 years and it wouldnt be normal to rust from the inside out! What poor customer service. I am out of leads to pursue. Not to mention the microwave burned out and we need to replace the Frigidaire microwave too.

I purchased all new appliances for our kitchen 3 years ago. We bought the professional series 2 door refrigerator with the bottom freezer, the professional dishwasher, the professional cooktop, the professional double oven and the gallery convection/microwave with the ventless hood.. We have had continual issues with the double oven model number fpet3077rfa. Initial install the motherboard and fans burned and almost caught our house on fire. Then we used the self cleaning mode a few months later and the upper oven had several failures and took over 2 months to get it properly repaired. Now both ovens do not cook food evenly. The back half will be burned and the front half will not be fully cooked. Two weeks ago our convection/microwave model number fgmv154clfa completely stopped working. It is not the breaker and there is power to the unit. We have called a service company but they are two weeks out before they can make it here. Our refrigerator is making strange noises and with all we have had to deal with it is overwhelming. We spent a lot of money getting what we thought was quality, top of the line appliances that would last us 10 years plus and they have been problems since day 1. We will not purchase Frigidaire products again.C.

We have had our Frigidaire Affinity for EIGHT years with no problems whatsoever--till yesterday. The washer stalled on the spin cycle. Problem was wads of some kind of matted, tarry stuff on the drain filter. Stuff that comes off dirty clothes? Don't think I cleaned the washer every time it asked "Clean washer"? And think maybe that was the problem. OR, how to get out the gunk that accumulates on the filter? Where is my manual? Can't find. Otherwise, I have been DELIGHTED with my wonderful, stalwart Frigidaire Affinity. And even this problem is probably just use-related. And, it might be my own darned fault, just as Jimmy Buffett said.

After wasting an entire morning working and searching for this part, I finally got through to the company. I was told that I am unable to purchase the $2.00 plastic ice tray separately, like LG and Samsung allow you to do. I need to replace the entire ice maker. I AM TOTALLY PISSED. In late November 2015, we remodeled our kitchen and purchased a complete suite of Frigidaire Gallery appliances. We couldnt install the dishwasher until the granite countertops had been fitted so the dishwasher went in last, a few days before Christmas. As soon as it had been plumbed in (at a cost of $120 by our Lowes kitchen fitter), a 15 minutes rinse cycle lasted three hours. I switched it off and reset the machine. Another 25 minutes cycle last four and a half hours. I called Frigidaire and they said that they couldnt get anyone out until January 2016! I called HHGregg who said that its not their normal policy but they would order us a new one, but we had to pay for it over the phone, return the old one to the store (a 64 mile round trip), and then we would get a refund on the original one. So 64 miles later, we had another dishwasher, which my husband had to install, since the kitchen fitter wouldnt come back without another charge. In February, I noticed that the side-by-side refrigerator was dropping temperature on the fridge side. It went from 38F to 14F, up and down wildly, then it would settle back at 38F, then the freezer would start to defrost. In the middle of this, we lost endless amounts of food as it completely froze in the refrigerator and defrosted food in the freezer. Customer service at Frigidaire was dreadful and they would not even guarantee that someone would call you to make an appointment for a further two business days. By this time the fridge went back to its normal temperature. I eventually got them to give me the local Frigidaire repair man and I dealt with him directly. Over period of a month or so, every time he was scheduled to come the fridge worked correctly, then froze everything in sight. Finally, we got it fixed. The damper hadnt been installed correctly and we were a filter missing. Were now holding our breath waiting for the stove or microwave to break down. I will never buy Frigidaire appliances nor will I recommend them.

My issue isnt as dramatic as some Ive read, but nonetheless I am furious. I have a 5-year-old Frigidaire refrigerator and last night, I was going to clean under the crisper drawers. When I started taking it apart, I noticed the plastic frame was badly cracked. I called Frigidaire because that piece has no weight on it other than bread and other lightweight items, and should never break let alone in 5 years. They refused to do anything about it, and the discounted price they offered me was considerably more than online resellers of this part. I told them that was a ridiculous price since they are the manufacturer. Even worse, customer service said that they werent willing to replace it at no charge. They didnt seem to care. I will never buy another Frigidaire product if this is what they call customer service.

On Christmas morning I turned our Frigidaire range on to cook our Christmas turkey. Our stove is only 2.5 years old. The flames subsided but thick black smoke was still coming from the back panel. Never will I buy a Frigidaire appliance again. We could have lost our home on Christmas morning if we hadnt been in the kitchen. Cooking a turkey for a group of guests on an outdoor grill in 40 degree weather is miserable. It appears (according to service repair man) Frigidaire ss side by side PHSC239DSBO has a wiring harness issue. It falls into the drip pan shorting it out which could cost $300 for a circuit board if that would correct the problem. He states Frigidaire knows of the problem but refused to do a recall. My neighbor and husband rewired the harness and strapped it up so that it will not fall into the drip pan again. Presto, I have power to freezer side. I called Frigidaire for help and they referred me to the service man who in turn stated the repair was out of his league. So, I called back Frigidaire to get someone else. I have yet to hear from them again. In the meantime, we fixed it ourselves. If Frigidaire had only strapped the wiring harness up to begin with, I would not have a problem. I got ZERO response from Frigidaire Product Managers on File ** after requesting something in writing on what caused this problem. The refrigerator literally ICE through the REAR and had a giant rust spot. Customer Service basically said product managers would not respond and put it back on the service technician who said theres no remediation. Its a defective product and poorly engineered in my opinion. All you get is its out of Warranty!3 days earlier I tossed the Professional Series Dishwasher because it failed to start, some keypad buttons wouldnt work, the interior racks had all rusted through the coatings. The silverware holder had holes all over it. Ive Serviced my professional Series Microwave as its failed. Its working well now. My Professional Series double wall oven doesnt cook evenly when both oven are running. The bottom always takes longer to cook at the same temperature. I have problems with the racks falling in both ovens when putting 15-25 lb turkey or higher weight items on them. The top oven bottom looks like its buckling. The issue with the racks could be related if we did a self clean with the racks still in it. I cant see how a self clean would cause that much of an issue with the size shelves.

Frigidaire appliances are the worst. We bought the Frigidaire Gallery series, all four major appliances - brand new from Appliance Factory Outlet. I will NEVER buy Frigidaire again and will not buy from Appliance Factor Outlet again. We paid extra to get the gallery series so fingerprints are less noticeable and apparently the extra money is only for that feature because the appliances have been nothing but trouble. Within 2 years we have had 7 repair calls on our refrigerator (ice machine not working, ice machine freezing/seizing up, doors not sealing, under drawer freezer ice build up, etc. etc. etc.). One time the complete cooling system went out and we had to throw out a bunch of food, of which they do not care about. Thank goodness we had the extended 10 year warranty or else we probably would have spent enough money to buy another refrigerator on service calls. Appliance Factory Outlet was less than helpful. They clearly had the attitude that its not their problem. They want the sale without any customer service. The warranty people (Brand Source) are irritated every time I have to place another repair call. I actually had Brand Source correct me after I said you guys have been out to my house a million times and she sarcastically said they told me that I have had only 7 repair calls. Unbelievable. Now we are 3 years into our new appliances and the dishwasher has broke 2 times. Unfortunately, we do not have the extended warranty on that. The oven also has had issues but suffice it to say - never buy Frigidaire appliances. I called the corporate office and they said you have to have 4 occurrences OF THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM before they will consider a replacement. I guess 7 or 8 calls on a brand new fridge isnt troublesome to them.

Never ever that I am purchasing Frigidaire anymore and my friends and family will hear from this. Poor customer service and products.

We bought a new Frigidaire range and the oven door handle fell off right after one year warranty. The problem is, we seldom use oven, at most 20 times a year. And it conveniently broke after one year warranty. Yesterday, the entire oven outer door with glass fell off while nobody used range at the time. It was scary, especially since we have young children walking by. Bad workmanship. Horrible experience!

I made a purchase for an Affinity washing machine from Best Buy in Columbus
I made a purchase for an Affinity washing machine from Best Buy in Columbus Georgia on 1/29/2010. September of last year, after only 9 months of use of my washer, it broke, and had to be repaired. I was told at that time, that the piece required to fix my washer was very costly, and that my washer would have to be taken apart and reassembled. That part that needed to be replaced, I believe was something called, a drain pump. Because my washer broke within a year of purchase, it was, at this time, covered by warranty. October 14th of this year, 2011, my washer began to have the same problem it did the year prior. I called you all, and was told that the piece required to fix this problem, yet again, was very costly but that you all would cover the cost of the piece, and not the service fee, and repair fee, because I was no longer under warranty. This meant that I would be responsible for paying up to $270 to repairing it and $70 charge just to come out and assess the problem. Unfortunately, having a family of five that includes a service member and infant, I could not afford to pay over half the cost of what I paid for my washer, simply to have someone come out and fix the same issue, that I had a year earlier, less than 9 months after the date of purchase. I had to make a decision to either spend nearly $300, and risk having the same issue again, or purchase a new washer that I could rely on. I went with option number two, and spent money that we didnt have on a new more reliable washer. I am a very displeased customer, and have been greatly inconvenienced. I hope that you all can provide me with some type of solution so that I may continue to be a loyal Frigidaire customer. The only response i received was, we apologize that you had that issue with your appliance. Unfortunately, the parts concession to assist with the parts to repair the appliance, was the only way we could have assisted you with your appliance. We are unable to assist you any further.

Its systems are super easy to maintain and clean. Very cold air is produced and it's very quiet compared to other products. It's also very affordable and space saving on certain units. It has been great overall. Product quiet and effective. Not much water waste either for those who don't like to waste. I enjoy it a lot after a hard day of hot work. Cool, sleek design on some products. They're very edgy and give a home or business that extra touch that makes it seem more modern and beautiful. It has never given me any trouble in almost 3 years. Best investment of my life. I just clean it externally and let it rest for a few hours a day. Other than that nothing needs to be done.

I will never buy another Frigidaire product again! This brand is horrible with nothing short of cheaply made and no warranty! Major appliances should last years without any issues but not Frigidaire. This is a unit already replaced by Frigidaire now were experiencing the same ice maker issues! I advise anybody looking for a quality side by side refrigerator to look at better products and stay far away from Frigidaire!

I bought a Frigidaire Dishwasher (Model: FDB4315LFC2) and a Frigidaire Smooth Top Range Oven (Model: FEFL79HCB) from Lowes in 2008. Now, in 2011, three years later, my Frigidaire Dishwasher is showing an Error Code ER and S and will not work. My Frigidaire Smooth Top Range Oven makes an unbelievably loud noise as the oven warms up. It also heats very unevenly and untrue to the temperature dialed in. I get boiling liquid on simmer. I also have stained glass on the inside of the oven door that cant be cleaned without taking apart the door.

Mine is part of a series and it matched my other appliances. It works perfectly with the decor! I have not had any problems with it at all in the 10 years I have owned it. I would replace it with the same make and model.

Purchased a home in 2011. New appliances were in the home with the packaging still on - so they were never used. Turned on the oven on Monday to preheat. Came back to check on it. Fire started in oven due to broken heating coil. Have contacted Customer Service and have been informed that there is nothing that they can do for me since I do not have the receipts. It is not like they were left for me. Would think that they would be helpful since this could have burned down my home. Have been asking to speak to a Manager in charge but keep getting the run around. Will be emailing and calling every day until this is cleared up on their expense or I am going to the media and the Better Business Bureau. It is bad to see that there are others that have experienced issues that they do not stand behind their product or take any blame.

I bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator with over $200 off and the unit will not cool below 60. The freezer goes to -20 but not the food area. I was told to try all kinds of tests like unplugging the unit, wait 5 minutes, plug it in and turn the thermostat all the way up, then down, then up again, then down..... all to no avail... From new Lowes wants to send out an appliance tech to fix my new fridge. No, I just want my money back. I will buy anything other than a Frigidaire.

I purchased a Frigidaire Profession French Door fridge in October 2017. It has been nothing but TROUBLE. The ice maker broke and flooded our wood floors. The cool drawer froze the vegetables and fruits. The compressor broke down. We lost hundreds of dollars in food. The fridge stinks to high heaven, in fact my whole house smells of rotten food. Weve had the approved repair people out to look at it 5 times. It now smells so bad that it must be replaced. I have cleaned it several times with every product suggested to remove smells. Frigidaire owned by Electrolux has denied our request for a replacement even though the fridge is under warranty and 7 months old. NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM FRIGIDAIRE OR ELECTROLUX!

My wife worked and saved for a LONG time because she wanted to upgrade the kitchen. Once she felt she had saved up enough, she went shopping for a houseful of appliances. She liked the Frigidaire Gallery line and the Affinity washer and dryer. In October of 2010, we took delivery of stainless gas range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator along with new washer and dryer. The only good thing to be said about Frigidaire is the smudge-proof stainless is the real deal. Too bad its not worth the aggravation. I would rather clean the front of the fridge every day, than deal with this brand ever again. We have paid for extended service contracts on all of the appliances since 2010 and with good reason. The washer has been repaired at least 8 times. It also stinks inside quite often. There was a class action suit for this and all you get is a check for $50. We used it to buy vinegar to clean it periodically (the only thing that works). Dryer has been repaired at least 3 times, if not more. Dishwasher repaired once. Gas range did a weird thing where if you tried to light one burner, all the igniters would fire up. That took time for parts, but it was otherwise usable. The refrigerator, where to begin??? Constant noise and malfunctions with the ice maker. Also, it would never stop making ice, even after the ice bin was full. After five repairs, my wife convinced someone in customer service it was time to replace the fridge. Fridge number two had the same issue with the ice maker, it would never stop making ice. You know the bin is too full when water drips from the ice dispenser. In 2014, we moved and washer, dryer and fridge #2 came with us. My wife likes her appliances to match, so she bought a new Gallery gas range, microwave and dishwasher.Fridge #2 didnt make it far into 2015. Ice maker stopped making ice. Deemed un-repairable, enter fridge number 3. Fridge #3 also has the issue with never stopping ice production. The icemaker was replaced (they finally re-engineered it so they didnt have to bring you a new fridge every time the ice maker quit). #3 is a little noisier than 1 and 2, but tolerable. Also, the replacement ice maker never stops making ice... Two cubic foot microwave deemed un-repairable after just 2 years. They agreed to replace it, but they dont make a 2.0 anymore, we could get a 1.75 cubic foot. Ok, but that unit is cheaper than the one its replacing, are we getting money back? You guessed it, no. They will add 3 months to the original warranty - TAKE IT, YOULL NEED IT!!! We were without a microwave for six weeks while waiting for Frigidaire and Lowes to communicate with one another. As I am typing this, its been almost a week since weve been able to use the gas range after it filled our home with gas. The nice man from the gas company put a DANGER tag on it and shut the gas supply to it. Frigidaire service said someone would be out the next day to look at it, but weve been down that road many, many times and we knew no one would be out the next day. Called the service company and, sure enough, earliest appointment was two weeks out. Call Frigidaire back and said we cant be without a range for two weeks. They said they would escalate to scheduling team, I said, You need to authorize a replacement now. No, we only escalate. I need to talk to a manager. Get Angela on the phone, shes like a parrot and says the same things over and over again. She promised a call back with status the next day, never heard from her again. Called her and left messages twice, no response. If you are reading this and am wondering if my wife and I would recommend Frigidaire appliances... Wed ask you why would you want to do that to yourself? If you just have to have smudge-proof stainless, never be without the extended contracts. Never. Customer service has only gotten worse over the past eight years and my wife is truly regretting the decision to go with Frigidaire.
