Reasonably priced and do a fantastic job cleaning and drying. Front load washer and dryer - owned for 5 years and have not had any problems and no service calls. Easy to use and use very minimal amount of water and electricity. Don't like paying a lot of money to purchase a product when there are less expensive models with the same features. Hate leaks in washers in the past. Need long lasting product. Machines are reliable, efficient, money-saving, and do a great job. Frigidaire makes a good machine.

The $900 refrigerator started giving us problems about 2 months after purchasing (made strange clicking and buzzing sounds and would stop cooling and had to be unplugged and then re-plugged into the outlet a couple of times to get it to start working). Fast forward to the present (5 months after purchasing) and the refrigerator and freezer have stopped working permanently (despite unplugging and re-plugging as originally suggested by Frigidaire customer service). After waiting nearly an hour to speak to a person, I managed to get Frigidaire to arrange for a repairman who told us the compressor was shot and the entire unit would have to be replaced. Learned that Frigidaire and its service partners DO NOT COMMUNICATE after another nearly one hour wait on Frigidaires customer service number (when I finally got a person, I waited another 20 minutes as the rep called the repair service to confirm what Id been told). While the repairman had told me the refrigerator would be replaced, Frigidaire says they will first have to check if parts are available (a compressor and a heater). I am now waiting for Frigidaire Corporate to reach out to me with details on how they plan to honor their standard 12-month manufacturers warranty (I should hear back within 72 hours according to what I was told by the service rep). Weve now been without a refrigerator for over one week without any idea of how long it will take to get this situation resolved. According to other reviews Ive read, it may well take over a month!

I purchased the Gallery Series of appliances. To date, the range, dishwasher and refrigerator have all needed repairs (the dishwasher and refrigerator needed repairs within 1 year of purchase). The latest is the stove... about 1 month ago the smooth top range began to smoke from the back of the unit near the control knobs and about a week later the stove began to beep and would not stop beeping. Now the stove will only heat to 200 degrees while beeping continuously and the oven will shut off, the continuous beeping continues.I contacted Frigidaire and was told the stove was no longer in warranty... that I could purchase the expensive Extended warranty for this product. I purchased the warranty offered and was told the warranty was sold in error and that they would not honor the warranty because this is now considered a pre-existing condition. The real question is Why does a basically new appliance not hold up to less than normal use and is broken down, considered USELESS after two years. This is a fire hazard and this company has no real interest in the customer after they sell the appliance to you. They do have a high interest in PUSHING their expensive extended warranties off on you as though they already know the appliances will break down within one to two years of purchase.

Has made my summer very comfortable and relaxing without having to worry about the heat. The air conditioner runs cold and is an extremely great product. Will always stick with this brand. The performance of the air conditioner is extremely well. It has multiple settings to help improve a better experience for those hot summer days. It has a great look to it as well as being easy to use. White in color, multiple settings, easy to see buttons, clear writing as well as big buttons. I haven't had any problems with this product. It has been very reliable, the filter has stayed very clean throughout the summer without having to be cleaned or replaced. It turns on no problems and cools down a room extremely quickly.

Complete insulation breakdown; unit not repairable. After two hours and transferred numerous times, Natasha stated that DTE Energy (my service contract provider only) declared my refrigerator not repairable. I have no warranty w/ them, only service. Therefore, I want a fair settlement/compensation for a major rear wall insulation failure only after 3+ years of service. This is not a repairable part, it should never fail.

Bought my electric range a few years ago. Got a great deal on a discontinued model. Love the ceramic top -- easy to clean, although it no longer looks just like new. Stove top and oven work fine and I do a lot of cooking and baking. It's simple to use. Don't like appliances with too many features that make them complicated to operate. Must hold the temperature well because baked goods always get done in the amount of time recommended in the recipe. Love that it's white too. Looks so nice and bright.

Purchased a stainless steel slide-in stove from Sears 2 years ago. It is a beautiful stove and my wife was very happy with it. She had called Frigidaire a few days after it was installed to find out what to use to clean and purchased all of the recommended cleaners. This stove was always immaculate. After about a year and a half the stainless steel control panel started peeling in a few spots making this otherwise beautiful stove look terrible. We checked our brochures and owners manuals and they all stated that it was made of stainless steel when in reality it is made of aluminum coated to look like stainless. We called Frigidaires customer service and I use that term loosely and asked them why my stainless stove is made of fake stainless and that told me it was real stainless. When I explained that mine was coated aluminum, they said they would have the technical people look into it and get back to me. They contacted me later and explained that my wife had scrubbed the outer layer of stainless steel off. What? And that for $250 they could send me a new stainless steel control panel. What? Thats right they are still trying to tell me that its stainless. Im not an attorney but this sure sounds fraudulent to me. I had good experiences in the past with Frigidaire but to misrepresent what you are selling is fraud and fortunately there are many other manufacturers to chose from.

We purchased four appliances from Frigidaire when we remodeled our kitchen. We have been a Frigidaire customer for thirty years. These appliances were purchased June 15, 2014. As of today the control panel on the stove died and now the control panel on the dishwasher died. When talking to the rep the only option is to spend another $284 for a extended warranty??? These units are only a little more than a year and a half old. Beware appliance buyers. Never buy Frigidaire appliances. They are junk.

5/17/17 Installed window AC (heavy 18,000 btu). Strange sound and smell upon plugging it in. Repair tech said Power Supply Board / Relay Switch not functioning. Frigidaire (Electrolux) wanted to repair the New unit. After arguing it was replaced by retailer not Frigidaire. 6/16/17 Stopped working, retailer would not replace it, Frigidaire sent repair tech a week later, same problem as first unit. Part ordered, repair tech installed, didnt start, etc. 8/1/17 Today 1.5 months of calls speaking Supervisors they are still stating they will find a repair company to fix the unit. Summer will be over before it’s fixed. I have emailed, Chatted, pleaded and cried. Even offered to accept a buyout of the unit (cost $600) at 50% less since I have had to purchase a replacement. Never will buy Frigidaire again! If a negative star was possible that is what I would give them. Will only shop at P.C. Richard, which has amazing customer service and repairs.

Bought Frigidaire microwave 6 months ago. Quit working and after 4 service
Bought Frigidaire microwave 6 months ago. Quit working and after 4 service calls, runaround from Frigidaire customer service, many lost hours of frustration (too many to count) Im at my wits end. Last service guy told me Frigidaire will NEVER replace an appliance. Said theyll just keep trying solutions, ordering more parts, etc. After 2 months Im done! I bought the microwave from Wayfair so as a last resort called them. After a couple of minutes on the phone they gave me a FULL REFUND without having to return it! Really? I also found this hoping it will help somebody:Here’s what worked: 1) Be nice. Every person I spoke with at Electrolux tried to help. 2) Take notes. Log every problem, every conversation with support staff including who you spoke with and their company ID, if they have one. 3) Know what you want to accomplish. The company would have been happy to continue repairing the fridge until it was out of warranty. I made it clear that the warranty would not expire until I had one year of trouble-free operation. 4) Put a limit on what you will accept from the company. When I got to my limit (and you must be reasonable about your limit) I required the company take action.5) Talk to a person who can say yes. When the service person says “no”, ask to speak with a supervisor. The language that finally worked for me with a third level supervisor was: “Can you authorize this (replacement or refund) or should I speak with your legal department?” 6). Be prepared to follow through. I did not ASK for a replacement or refund, I told Electrolux that I would accept nothing less, I filed a complaint with my state’s Department of Consumer Affairs and I let them know I was willing to file suit to replace a defective design. At that exact point, after receiving their copy of my filing, Electrolux refunded the full purchase price of the refrigerator and refused to pick up the old one. Never, never buy Frigidaire again!!!

The following is a letter written in response of the poor quality of Frigid
The following is a letter written in response of the poor quality of Frigidaire products purchased for my new home. This letter was uploaded 2 times via Frigidaires website contact us page and mailed via USPS and have had no response to any correspondence. (I have submitted this letter twice via your website and have had no response.)Upon building my new home in 2008, I purchased all Frigidaire Professional Series products for my new kitchen. Since moving in, I have had issues with each piece except the dishwasher (PLD4555RFC2). The double ovens (PLEB30T9FC) hinges squeak when I open or close the doors. The top ovens hinges were replaced during the warranty period, yet they have begun squeaking again. Moisture gets between the glass (an area I cannot open to clean) leaving behind water spots and dust when it dries. This obscures the view of the food I am cooking. No matter how clean I keep the oven, it always looks dirty when viewed through the glass. The microwave (PLMVZ169GCC) touch plate cover had scratches when it arrived and so it was replaced via the warranty.I purchased a full fridge (PLRU1778ES3) and freezer with ice maker (PLFU1778ES3) with the trim kit and gave the specification sheet to my cabinet maker to ensure a custom fit for the unit. The freezer has had frost issues because the door seal would not completely seal when closed. We were able to have the seal replaced during the warranty period as well. Now the refrigerator runs constantly on any setting during any season, but it cannot keep pace to chill food enough, even on the coldest setting. Milk seldom lasts to its expiration date. The compressor has been replaced and the Freon charged but it continues to run all day and all night. When the fridge does turn off--maybe once a week, provided it hasnt been opened for more than eight hours--it seems like something is wrong in the house because it is so quiet! Also when the fridge is off, the contents inside are covered in dripping condensation, which spoils our produce more expediently.Your recommended repair company has determined that it is not feasible to repair the unit because it has a Freon leak, which can only be remedied by overriding the refrigeration device and building a new device on the outside of the unit. Ultimately, a new refrigerator would be more feasible and cost-effective. I have called Frigidaire to inquire assistance for all the problems were are having. We have been informed that Frigidaire refuses to offer any solutions because our products are no longer under warranty. Since we made this purchase, you have changed the design of the full fridge and full freezer. To replace the refrigerator, we would need to replace the freezer and trim kit too! After five years in a brand new home, we are faced with spending $3200.00 on a new fridge and freezer unit. We purchased your top-of-the-line professional series appliances because we love to cook and entertain and we believed your sleek, well-designed appliances would assist us in this endeavor. Your fridge and freezer units are the centerpiece of our kitchen. We designed our entire kitchen, down to our drawer pulls, to match these units.Upon our endorsement of your products, friends and family have purchased several Frigidaire appliances for their homes. Now due to our loyalty to your brand, we would appreciate in-kind loyalty from you by helping us to remedy our lingering predicament. Could you please offer a resolution that will repair the aesthetics of our kitchen and thus endorse our faith in Frigidaire? We would appreciate your graciously offering an in-house credit toward the purchase of a replacement refrigerator, freezer, and trim kit for our home. Although the new appliances would no longer precisely match our current double oven, dishwasher, microwave, and drawer pulls, they would still be the centerpiece of our kitchen. Certainly this is a more pleasing solution than pairing a short Frigidaire freezer with a taller Frigidaire refrigerator below an empty hole where the trim kit no longer fits. Helping us to defray the cost of these appliances because you stand behind your name, would ensure continued fierce loyalty toward your brand. Thank You.

2 years ago we purchased 3 Frigidaire appliances, their French doors fridge model FPHB2899PF2, their gas slide in range and their dishwasher all in the Professional series. At the one year mark the dishwasher broke down and required replacement parts that Electrolux was aware of. The oven racks (3) are all approximately 1/4 inch too small. So when you put almost any weight on them they fall to the bottom of the oven. Best yet just shy of the 2 year mark the door ice maker died. We called Electrolux service who directed us to our local repair company who arrived at our house and spent 4 minutes and $100 to tell us that this particular Frigidaire fridge was garbage and that he has repaired or tried to many in his area. He told us ours was non-repairable. Long story short we daughter for numerous emails and calls with Electrolux to only end up with a partial credit towards a new purchase which would cover approximately 35% of the replacement cost. At this point we gave up. We did however reach out to Leons Furniture where we purchased the group only to be totally ignored! Needless to say we spend all of our efforts spreading our message.

We purchased all Frigidaire appliances 4 years ago and we have not been happy with any of them! Our ice maker stopped working 3 months ago and our gas range scratched up so easily on the top by the burner grills that we had that replaced after 6 months! We also had to replace the bottom panel in the oven because it scratched with normal cleaning using a scrubby. Now I have a permanent white spot in between the glass on the oven door. Sent an email to Frigidaire with my dissatisfaction for both appliances and heard nothing! We too are retired and we do not abuse our appliances. I’ve had ranges and refrigerators that have lasted for more than 20 years and still looked brand new. Do not buy Frigidaire appliances. Lowe’s doesn’t care and apparently either does Frigidaire. Cheaply made and made to fall apart after 5 years.

My upright freezer was delivered in May 2020. By June the frost-free freezer was forming ice near the door. Took Frigidaire 2 months to mail me a replacement gasket. Before the part arrived the door wouldnt stay shut. Had to put a ratchet strap around it to keep it closed. Gasket arrived and it doesnt fit in the door so falls off immediately. Now the freezer is constantly running trying to stay cool. The contents are melting. Frigidaire is horrible. I tried calling multiple times on Friday but their help desk literally didnt answer, had a message that said they were too busy and it hung up on me. Repeatedly. I emailed them, no response. Called again, sat on hold forever. Their customer service is awful. They wont refund or replace the freezer. They wont refund the $700 of food that is now ruined. I will never buy Frigidaire again. HORRIBLE COMPANY. HORRIBLE PRODUCT. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. HORRIBLE!!!

I purchased a front loading Frigidaire washing machine approximately 18 months ago. It came with a one year warranty. Several weeks ago it ceased spinning properly and then not at all. The repairs cost me $348 on a machine that had cost approximately $600 new. It has had no heavy use in the intervening period. I see online that this problem is not uncommon and recommend that anyone considering buying Frigidaire appliances think twice before doing so.

I bought a new Frigidaire dishwasher model FFCD2413UW at Lowes. Biggest mistake ever. Problem one, there is no mention anywhere about the fact that you must buy additional parts to install your dishwasher. This caused two 70 mile round trips. Problem two, The door on this dishwasher has no latch. With no latch to click to open it you must employ brute strength to open it.Problem 3, once you get this piece of junk open the door wont stay open. The problems here are numerous but the most aggravating is that when you open the door to load the dishwasher and pull the bottom rack out, the door starts shutting on its own sliding the rack back into the dishwasher. I have been employing a brick to hold the door down while I load the dishwasher. Problem 4, I thought my previous dishwasher was loud. This dishwasher drowns out every other noise by a mile. We have been setting it to come on later, it only has one setting for this, 4 hours. So now around 2 am the entire family meets in the kitchen to find out what the racket is about.

Frigidaire appliances are the worst. We bought the Frigidaire Gallery series, all four major appliances - brand new from Appliance Factory Outlet. I will NEVER buy Frigidaire again and will not buy from Appliance Factor Outlet again. We paid extra to get the gallery series so fingerprints are less noticeable and apparently the extra money is only for that feature because the appliances have been nothing but trouble. Within 2 years we have had 7 repair calls on our refrigerator (ice machine not working, ice machine freezing/seizing up, doors not sealing, under drawer freezer ice build up, etc. etc. etc.). One time the complete cooling system went out and we had to throw out a bunch of food, of which they do not care about. Thank goodness we had the extended 10 year warranty or else we probably would have spent enough money to buy another refrigerator on service calls. Appliance Factory Outlet was less than helpful. They clearly had the attitude that its not their problem. They want the sale without any customer service. The warranty people (Brand Source) are irritated every time I have to place another repair call. I actually had Brand Source correct me after I said you guys have been out to my house a million times and she sarcastically said they told me that I have had only 7 repair calls. Unbelievable. Now we are 3 years into our new appliances and the dishwasher has broke 2 times. Unfortunately, we do not have the extended warranty on that. The oven also has had issues but suffice it to say - never buy Frigidaire appliances. I called the corporate office and they said you have to have 4 occurrences OF THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM before they will consider a replacement. I guess 7 or 8 calls on a brand new fridge isnt troublesome to them.

I sure wished I wouldve known about this website before we purchased these products. We own all three appliances in the SS Frigidaire Professional Series, fridge, range, and dishwasher. Let me just say, buyer beware. Weve had them approximately 5 -7 yrs. Weve had to replace the heating element in the dishwasher. And recently, something blew after I heated the oven to bake a dish. The breaker blew and nothing on the digital readout panel or the burners or oven would work. I didnt know about the recall on the range until I accessed their website to issue a complaint. I had to have it repaired so I could use it. The cost was $500 plus. I called them and they told me to fax the repair invoice for possible reimbursement consideration. I did (9/27/11) and waited a few weeks to call back to check on the decision. They couldnt give me any info since they said they never received it, even though I had confirmation that it was received. At that time, I requested the replacement parts to repair the exact problem included in the recall. But in the meantime, they said because they didnt receive my initial fax, they gave me a new number. I refaxed the invoice again to another number on 10/25 and waited until today (11/18) to call and check again. Initially, I was told the fax wasnt received again until I insisted it had already been faxed twice and to a new number the second time. Suddenly, it was found and the decision to reimburse was denied justified because it wasnt directly included in the recall. Never mind, they should stand behind their product that blew a breaker at the time it failed. It’s clearly dangerous to have done that. I’m not happy with their decision. I will do better research when purchasing appliances in the future. There is no such thing as a reliable appliance with Frigidaire and they dont stand behind their product.

I was so upset and wonder how many customers they do that to. My fridge had many problems and they would not fix it. I moved into my home in April of 2014. It was supplied with all new Frigidaire appliances (oven, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator). After 6 months the front of the drawer of the oven began to pull away from the drawer. I called in November for a repair person to replace the front of the drawer. Let me say here that I did not speak to someone at Frigidaire. They get your zip code and then supply telephone numbers of people who do repairs for them. I waited from November 11th until December 31st for the part to arrive. It took the repair person less than 15 minutes to take the front off the draw and replace it with a new one. They did not replace the handle. A couple weeks later I receive a bill for the repair and I explain that the oven is less than a year old and this is covered by warranty. I then call Frigidaire and Im told that they would not cover the repair because it was cosmetic. I tried to explain that it was a manufacturing defect because I surely did not do anything that should make the front of the drawer to come off. They were rude and I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was placed on hold for nearly 30 minutes and was told she could not find a supervisor and I should take up the bill with the repair company. I then sent an email to the customer service department and have not heard back.I have tried to get to someone in the company but all their numbers just take you back to a customer service department with no power to resolve issues. I read my warranty and it does not cover knobs and handles but this was not a knob or a handle or misuse of the product in anyway. I wish I could afford to get rid of all of these appliances because I can tell as time goes on they will not stand by their warranties (service agreements) and the products are junk.

Ever since we got this top of the line fridge new, Eve noticed that the ice maker is nearly useless. If you use ice then be prepared to constantly turn on the quick freeze option, which really doesnt help either, but at least you get some ice. Now though to make matters worse, the ice hopper has broken, the ice maker drips water out of the front door and spews water all over our floor every time we open the door. The ice turns into gigantic chunks, the width of the entire hopper, by melting together- I cant even open the door without trying to break the chunks by running the ice maker, and risking burning up the motor. So I ordered a replacement unit, but everyone must be having this issue because theres a nationwide backorder. Last time I buy this brand, it sure looks nice, but only if you dont need an ice maker.

5 times had service out to fix ice maker. Contacted them and told them now the plastic cube maker froze and fell into tray. They told me to have a certified tech out, which it was first 5 times. Now the light is burning a hole in plastic in fridge. Doors always closed , no thawling. How do you rectify a crap product?

Frigidaire Refrigerator Prof SXS - Never Again. Worst purchase ever made! This was a lemon from the get go but Frigidaire does not replace - they just continue to put on bandages. Every year since I have owned this piece of junk I have had to have it serviced at least once a year. I have paid over $600 for extended warranties thinking that eventually everything would be fixed. Boy was I wrong. Now it is leaking water (not from ice or water dispenser) but randomly down the right side of the unit even with the water spigot to the frig turned off. Two service calls later they still dont know whats wrong and in the mean time I have warped hardware floors (2nd time this frig has leaked) and no resolution. The only thing this refrigerator is good is displaying magnets. Once this years warranty runs out, this frig it out of here... and no more Frigidaire/Electrolux for me!

Remodeled my kitchen less than 3 years ago purchasing all new appliances, range, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave oven, all purchased, delivered and installed on the same day. About 3 months ago I started having trouble with dishwasher whereas all lights on panel lit up and would not go off. Followed instructions to reset same result an error code stating that the control board was bad, mind you weve only used this dishwasher roughly 12 times since purchase or 4 times a year during holidays. I have posted complaints and placed phone calls with zero response. The holidays are here and I am unable to use my dishwasher which just makes it an unusable brick in my kitchen. Additionally my refrigerator is not working properly either. It wont hold temperature, the filter leaks and seems to ice up everything. Ive reset a number of times after which is the only time it works properly for a few days then back to chaos freezing everything on both sides. Im really hoping planned obsolescence lasts longer than 2.5 years. In the meantime, I dont feel that I should be needing a new dishwasher after only 12 uses of that. Ive also heard there may be a recall on my machine, but I dont know, because no one responds! Can someone please get back to us?

Purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator from Lowes in April 2016. Since then we have had the repairman out five times. First three times fridge made loud clicking noises, still does, was told it was normal even though we know better. Now for two times in a week, freezer went out. We are out $250 in food and no one cares. All he did was put a Styrofoam piece in fridge to regulate air, worked for less than a week. Got home from food shopping freezer is thawed out again. Cannot come out till Monday. We are told Frigidaire knows this model is a lemon but they continue to sell them as we are told because they have a warehouse full of them. Why would Lowes continue to sell these models knowing they are bad? Whatever happened to standing behind your product? I guess making money selling bad products is Frigidaires way of doing business these days... Buyer be warned.

I purchased this refrigerator in September 2016. The plastic lining, the doors have all cracked due to the cold temperatures. The plastic started cracking within a year of purchase. I previously had a GE for 15 years and never had any problems. This new fridge has plastic pieces hanging off of them and is visibly horrible. I purchased the warranty and they say it is cosmetic so they will not cover. I have called Frigidaire and they want me to purchase new doors. When I asked to escalate they provided me a P.O Box to write a letter in hopes that I would not bother.I cannot believe that I spent so much money on a horrible product that is cheaply made. We have 4 adults living in our home and expect our fridge to last more than a year. I have a claim currently for my ice maker because it jams, stops working and then drips all along the front side of my fridge. Lets see how that goes. I am writing a letter and I will provide an update if they even respond. DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE! They make cheap faulty products and their warranty and service sucks.

I am absolutely DISGUSTED with the treatment this company has given me. STAY AWAY FROM FRIGIDAIRE!!!! We got an in wall unit last year. They gave us a faulty unit that did not work straight from the box, and had to be replaced with a new one straight after buying it. Barely over a year later, in July, it stopped working again (was not blowing cold). I called Frigidaire for our warranty. They assigned an AC repair company to us. I called this AC professional to set an appointment. On the phone, keep in mind this guy has not seen our AC, our place, or has any idea what the issue is, and he immediately is saying we probably ** it up somehow and its our fault and there is probably nothing they will be able to do.... DUDE YOU HAVENT EVEN SEEN IT YET?!?!!?!? Super rude, condescending, and childish. He was supposed to come out one day, calls an hour into the absurd 8 hour time frame, and says that there are no other appointments in my area, and they are gonna come tomorrow instead. Really? Just because the drive is not worth it for you, you are gonna say eh ** it? Comes next day, and immediately tells me I am improperly dressed and I need to change because I was in shorts... my shorts covered everything important, and were completely appropriate. And even then, MY ** AC IS BROKEN IN JULY AND IM SWEATING LIKE CRAZY. How dare you judge me in my own home! After 2 minutes, he repeats everything he said on the phone, gives me no detailed explanation as to how we messed it up, tells me his signature line he used on the phone, you need to do your research, and leaves. Called my warranty company. The lady calls him to hear his side of the story, he talked over her, yelled at her, and hung up on her. She told me no matter what I did or didnt do, if the AC is malfunctioning, he was required to fix it because it was covered by our warranty. And she is immediately sent me a new company to work with, and said she will definitely be letting management know. Completely ridiculous. So now they send us a NEW guy. He was friendly, recognized the problem, and took the AC. His estimated time frame was 2 weeks. IT HAS BEEN 3 MONTHS!!!! It is almost halfway into fall at this point!!! Frigidaire has done NOTHING to speed up the process. I have been calling non stop. In OCTOBER they are just now telling me that my issue will not be fixed under warranty because the FIRST AC guy said my AC suffered abuse. I demanded the woman call the AC PEOPLE THAT HAVE MY AC!!!! I explained to the woman on the phone the first AC company is NOT even a legitimate company, and that he currently has multiple lawsuits for improper service on ACs. She checked with MY REAL AC company. They stated there was no such abuse or improper installment as stated. FRIGIDAIRE MAY THINK THEY CAN SCAM ME BUT NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. There is nothing I would want more than to get my money back.

I purchase a Washer and Dryer in Dec-2008 with extended warranty from Sears. Last year Electrolux / Frigidaire sent me a letter to purchase an extended warranty for two years if I wish. I had call them and purchase the warranty. I called them in May-2016 to check my unit for noise. They sent a tech who says nothing wrong. Few days later I received a call from their Customer service to verify my SN since the one they have under contract is not matching. I did and sure enough they have a different serial number on the contract. Now they want to cancel the contract and have me purchase a new contract and pay for the service call. They also said that I should have verified the serial number on the new offer that came from their company and it is my mistake. A corporation like Frigidaire should be more organized and can fix this type of issues and not pointing to consumer. I spent more than 6 hours on the phone trying to work with multiple customer service Managers with no solution. It seems that they just want to steal your Money and not do any service.

Purchased an LFID2426TF from Lowes almost a year ago Oct 2017. Dishwasher has had issues from the start with not draining completely, not washing the dishes thoroughly leaving a grainy baked on film behind and not totally drying them. Now recently the latch broke replaced that the dishwasher worked for a few days now. Start button continually flashing and dishwasher not working. Total piece of crap. Will never buy from these people again. Quality control is pretty much nonexistent with this company. If you want people to buy products made in the US then make good products that last longer than 9 months and do what they are meant to do in the first place...

I purchased a French door refrigerator 8 months ago. The bottom door shelf broke off after 5 months. I ordered a new one. It took 6 weeks to get it. It arrived in a book with most of the chef in wrapped in a plastic bags. The end had broken off and was laying on top of the bag. Yes, the obviously dropped and broke the shelf in packaging and shipped the broken shelf anyway. I called to return the shelf. Their policy is that the customer has to buy a 2nd shelf, and they will credit your account for the first. Well, that was 6 weeks ago. I have not received credit for the broken shelf and the new shelf has not been shipped. I’ve made 2 attempts to find out when the shelf will be shipped, and no one seems to know. They were however able to take my money twice. I will be buying the rest of my appliances from a more reputable company.

We renovated a 1971 kitchen only 2 years ago and purchased the Frigidaire professional series: oven, fridge and dishwasher for a total of $5,000 through Sears. The side by side fridge doors never have closed properly from day one. When you close one side, the other side pops open and remains ajar. For the last year, weve had problems with the panel on the stove. The element buttons work occasionally and weve had to trip the breaker because weve had so much trouble with the cancel button not working. I, too, thought Frigidaire was an established brand name and would have quality products. We live in a remote northern Canadian town where repair services are not available. I would never purchase Frigidaire again and certainly after reading the other posts, I am on my way to check the bulb in my fridge.

Bought over $6000 of appliances while renovating my kitchen (less than three years ago). First issue arose when cast iron grates on dual fuel range had peeling paint off grates. Called when the stove was about 8 months old. Told there was no warranty and if I wanted something better looking, I needed to buy new grates. I did, supposedly got a 50% discount but grates were still nearly $100. Just had my 5th service call for icemaker repair... each time after paying $130 service call always requiring parts to fix... spent around $800 in repairs so far. Tried to speak to customer service about my frustration and high cost of obviously defective product. No offer of compensation other than 50% off parts ordered from them, big deal. I even tried to speak to a supervisor and got no other offers of help or even trying to remedy my situation. Not to mention a cracked piece of plastic on the top of my freezer door damaged by the repairman that cannot be replaced... Frigidaire does not sell this part and I need a whole new door... absolutely ridiculous and poor service after spending my hard earned money on several appliances... I would never purchase again. I have a 14 year old whirlpool fridge that is an extra-- still in use in my garage. I have done nothing other than replace the water filter. Never one ounce of trouble. Next time I will buy whirlpool.

The Frigidaire FFGC3626SS 5 pilot gas range is very pretty and I like everything about it - EXCEPT - The knobs started breaking within a month of installation and all 5 knobs broke 3X within the first year. I was given two free sets, but now, since it is a few weeks past 1yr from purchase (but within 1 year of actual installation & use). I am being offered new knobs at $17.00 each (the full price is $75.00 each for PLASTIC knobs). There is no warranty on the new knobs. The Frigidaire website is FULL of 1 star reviews due to these knobs breaking. Apparently, the heat from the range makes the stems on the knobs brittle & the stems snap & making the knobs completely useless. I did not buy the extended warranty - One reviewer stated that the knobs are not covered by it anyway, but I havent confirmed that. I am down to 1 working knob on a 14 month old gas range. BTW, the size is unique & hard to fit with universal knobs from other makers. Run Away from Frigidaire Range Tops!!!

I purchased a side by side refrig last year. Purchase date was 9/9/13. I reported the refrig was freezing everything on both sides on 9/8/14. One day before the warranty expired. They informed me since it was reported before the expiration date that all was covered. They scheduled a repairman to come 9/15/14. Today I called to check why the repairman did not come. I was told that they would not pay since the warranty has expired, but would sell me a extended warranty for 95.00 dollars that would pay for parts only. The refrig broke while it was covered, it was reported before it expired, how can they not honor the warranty? Now they say they have no record of it being registered. The first lady I spoke to one Sept 8th found it, why cant they find it now? Frigidaire warranties are worthless. I will not have another product of theirs in my home!

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator model #LFHG225ITF3 in May of 2019. In December the ice maker stopped working. I replaced the filter and an external line filter and it still didnt function so I called service. A young man all of 20 years old if that showed up and looked in the freezer. He then proceeded to make a phone call and made the repair by getting instructions by whomever he was speaking to. He said, OK its fixed and left. 24 hours later still no ice. I called the repair line again and demanded a different service company. The next company showed up and again a young man got on the phone with someone. He declared that the ice maker had to be replaced. By a diagnosis over the phone. That was 2 weeks ago. I just called service again and got a complete runaround. She called the company that was supposed to order the part and replace it and got their answering machine. When I told her I could have had the part in my hand in 24 hours if I had ordered it from Amazon she just kept repeating her script over and over. I told her I want a new refrigerator if the people that they have servicing their appliances cant even replace an ice maker. I cant have one, she said, because the unit has not been deemed unrepairable. So if I dont hear back within 24 hours she will send out a third company. To waste a third day of mine waiting for them to show up and potentially not fix the unit. This game, according to the representative, could go on and on until someone can fix it. Bottom line, be very worried about getting a problem solved by Frigidaire. I have never experienced such nonsense. They are subcontracting with the worst of the worst to service your expensive purchase. Buyer beware!

Purchased the fridge in May 2016 model # FFTR1821QW. Within a month it started making all kinds of noises. It was under warranty so Frigidaire sent someone out to look at the problem. They said it was a fan motor making the noise and replaced it. No sooner than a day later, the same noise, called again. Sent someone out, said they didnt know where the noise was coming from. Called again, sent someone else out who stated there have been several people calling in with the noises that are coming from the product and theres nothing that can be done. It sounds like someone is knocking at all hours of the day and night plus a crap-load of different sounds. Frigidaire says it normal for all these noises and they sent me a form letter of all the noises this could make. Frigidaire says all these noises are listed in the Owners Manual. DONT YOU GET THE OWNERS MANUAL WHEN YOU ACTUALLY OWN THE ITEM?Do not buy this product. The noises are loud, obnoxious knocking constantly. Every day they keep getting noisier and noisier. $500+ may not be a lot of money for a company like Frigidaire, but to its consumers its a lot of money to spend on a crappy fridge. I guess thats one way to make you buy a warranty, because you know its gonna break down at some point.

I purchased the microwave in November 2017. The door was opening with a bit of difficulty but I thought it was normal. Later on, I had to try 3-4 times to open it once. On Feb. 12th I called and they send a repair service company. The repair man wrote down 2 possible reasons: the door per se was damaged or it looked like the bottom door bracket was bent. He said that hell order a new door. If the issue will continue after that, Frigidaire will have to replace the microwave since the bracket cant be replaced.I waited 6 weeks for the door for it was on the backorder. Finally, the repair company received the door but it was broken... I waited another week, until they got another one (from the batch that was now in the Frigidaires stock). He installed the door but the issue persisted. So he said hed call them the next day and ask for the microwave to be replaced. He (and unfortunately I) did not think to try the microwave after installing the door. After he left I called his company because the microwave did not run at all, even with a hard-to-open door. He arrived after a few days and found something else was wrong (besides the door), namely a door switch. He ordered it from Frigidaire and left. After another week he arrived with the switch and installed it. But the microwave still would not work. He decided it was the thermostat. (THIS IS NOT A JOKE) and ordered it. Meanwhile we got to June and I went on vacation. He got the thermostat and came over to install it on August 1st. But the microwave would not work at all. (STILL, NO JOKE). He went to his car to look for some loose pieces. He was hesitant to call the company to order something else (and WHAT? because he had no idea what it was.) I advised him to call a colleague and ask for his/her opinion. Eventually he left saying that he will call Frigidaire the next day. Two days later he arrived with a piece that he said he had gotten from another colleague, familiar with Frigidaire products. He installed it and the microwave started running, still with the initial bottom door bracket bent and the door closing and opening with difficulty. I reminded him that he would have to call Frigidaire and say that the initial issue couldnt be fixed. BUT... SURPRISE: he said that I should be happy that the microwave works now. He said that Frigidaire never replaces appliances and it is practically a lost cause. It was clear to me that he was not at ease, since the whole story would prove that he wasnt a stellar repair man either.I couldnt believe my ears. So I understand that I have two incompetent parties here: one supplying bad products, the other supplying bad service. And I am in between, unhappy and angry as hell. I called the Dial Appliance myself and asked the manager to call since the repair man, Ishmail wont do it. The manager, Eugene, mocked me for even thinking of a replacement. Why dont you try it yourself? And good luck with it, he said. I called Frigidaire and there is not live person answering at all. They have a message, the same message that I heard several times along 2-3 months: In an effort to better serve poi, our agents are currently participating in a company collaboration & training session. We apologize for this inconvenience. One might say that after so much training theyd get better at what they are doing...

18 months ago we purchased a Kenmore Laundry center, model 970L97422F0, that was made Frigidaire. The washer DOES NOT fill with enough water to do the cleaning. More often than not there are dry spots. We had the repairman out twice and his only solution for the problem was to add a pail of water before starting the machine, so to trick it to think that the weight was more. Also it is the nosiest washer we have ever owned!! It sounds like a cement mixer when it is running. Phone calls to Sears and Frigidaire go unanswered. I purchased the Frigidaire Gallery Series: Side by Side Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Gas/Convection Stove and Microwave. Each have problems that continue to this day: *Refridgerator - Control panel LEDs faded so it was unreadable, tech replaced the panel but the fridge had a Quick Ice feature when new but the tech replaced it without the quick ice feature.*Dishwasher- failed to operate at all. Tech replaced the control strip with washer selections but later found that this was not the problem. It needed the controller inside the door panel which he didnt have and had to order one. Waited two weeks for it to be replaced. Takes multiple attempts to get the washer turned on for cleaning. # Stove initial delivery came damaged. Replaced but after awhile gas smells emanate while using the oven, seems to be a chronic issue with this appliance. *Microwave - sounds tinny and cooks unevenlyI signed up with Frigidaire website and noted all of the above. Attempted to see if there was a response to my entry and found none. There was never any contact from them. Prior to that I posted my dissatisfaction on Facebook and received a message from a person that might have been a customer rep. When I attempted to contact this person I could not find the message again on Facebook. The issues all the appliances remain the same today. The oven is rarely used due to the gas smells/leaks. I understand that it might be an issue with a baffle??? I am totally dissatisfied with these appliances and even more so with Frigidaire/Electrolux lack of ownership of the brand and non-responsiveness from them as a company.

Purchased a suite of Frigidaire products in May 1014 - fridge, range, microwave and dishwater. From the beginning I had problems with the fridge. The freezer frosted over and was icy. I called a repair company and was told the gasket had to be replaced (on a new fridge???) and had to be ordered. I waited a couple of weeks and after numerous calls was told the part (gasket) was on back order. What does that mean??? I was told to call Frigidaire and did so. What a runaround. They told me I would have to wait for the part which may be in Aug. 4th. Asked to speak to a supervisor who told me they could only give me a ETA on when it would be available and I would have to wait. Wait to fix a broken fridge that I only had a couple of months. I complained. I wanted it replaced and they said they DO NOT REPLACE only repair. They specified they were not refusing to fix, but I would have to wait for the part which would hopefully be in this year (exaggeration). This is deplorable conduct. I have to suffer with a broken freezer until the part becomes available. I never heard of such a ridiculous answer. I contacted my salesman and he is getting in touch with their rep. I have read so many complaints about this company that I think I will have to get rid of this fridge and take the loss. Frigidaire, you are on my you know what list.

Had a home built and the builder provided the kitchen appliances without any extended warranties. Neither the builder nor Frigidaire will do anything about it as they are over a year old. The handle of the over-the-stove microwave broke first. Next was the ice maker in the side-by-side refrigerator. That was then followed by the cooling unit breaking (resulting in a large loss of food). Most recently, the heating element within the dishwasher actually melted a hole through the bottom of the dishwasher. When Frigidaire was called about each one of these things the answer was the same: There is nothing we can do. Never again will I purchase a Frigidaire product. I paid $125.00 more than I paid for the Frigidaire in 2015 and got a Maytag with a 10 year guarantee on the compressor. Be very careful before you purchase a product made by this company.

I have Frigidaire microwave, refrigerator, stove and dishwasher that came with a new home in 2014. The dishwasher was the first to stop working due to the touchpad. The dishwasher touch pads cost $130. I had to replace it twice... Then on the third time I called it quits and bought GE dishwasher. Now my stoves touchpad is shorting out and comes on automatically. Thats another $130-200 to fix. Im not wasting my time anymore with Frigidaire. They dont stand by their products and continue to sell their faulty machinery. Dont buy from them!

I bought a refrigerator, microwave, stove and a dishwasher in July 2014 from ABC Warehouse in Dearborn Michigan, and both the refrigerator esp. the icemaker broke within 30 days of the purchase. Of course the warranty fix them but ever since the icemaker broke 3 other times and now the items is out of warranty. Today both the microwave and ice maker doesnt work. Frigidaire gallery products is a piece of junk. Never in my life I have own so many lemons that went sour so soon. Lemons suppose to sour but these products are rotten. Im so mad its costing more money for the warranty versus the cost to fix them because the products keep breaking down after the repairs. Close the company. Sad sad sad.

I purchased this refrigerator in April of 2010, now 4 years later it has stopped working. Earlier this year I was concerned about temperature fluctuations but they always went back to normal in a few hours. I have dropped a can of soda in the refrigerator and it cracked the inside. The drawers have been very difficult to maneuver resulting in some breakage there also. Seems like very inferior materials used. The only advice I received was to place some tape over the crack. I have seen this recommendation in other comments regarding these refrigerators. Very unhappy overall with this product, cracking, breaking, temperature fluctuations and now a breakdown (BTW this happened the week before Christmas for which I was going to cook). I was unable to book a repair service during the holidays. I will call on Monday January 5th. Thank You for your time.

We manage a few properties and at one point ordered a few Frigidaire refrigerators. Three of them never worked upon arrival. I was thankfully able to get two of them replaced after several calls with the distributor because frigidaire refused. It has been a year and I still cannot get the third one fixed or replaced. I have had numerous calls dropped with their customer service, countless promises to have the item fixed, and even more promises that they would bring the needed parts to fix it the next time. I will NEVER purchase one of their products again for the sheer sake of how atrocious their customer service is. I hope you should never have to call their customer service, because after waiting on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes (there is no call back option), you will likely get someone who you have to re-explain the entire scenario to, they will still not understand, and your problem will still not get resolved. At this point Im likely to just throw away this refrigerator instead of wasting more time trying to get them to fix it. I was just on the phone for over an hour, they refused to give me a manager and the call surprisingly dropped. This has happened a number of times before when I have had issues and I never received a call back. 0/10 would recommend.

Grating noises from ice maker FFHS2611LWMA. I selected this refrigerator b/c it was available to be delivered the next day. Now I know why! Nobody in their right mind should want to purchase this unit. Shortly after delivery, we experienced a racket beyond belief. It is so loud it wakes me up at night. We called an approved service technician, while under warranty. He stated this is just the unit. There is nothing to be done. Two letters to Frigidaire. Today after the 2nd letter, the rep. suggested I contact an approved service provider. I asked her why would I do this, when the provider operates under the dictates of the manufacturer. Therefore, I would incur an expense for no corrective measures whatsoever.... She further stated, this sound is standard for this unit. As for my experience, I have concluded...Frigidaire is aware of this loud and disruptive feature and continues to sell it to unsuspecting customers. The least they could do would be to put a disclaimer on the unit. PLEASED BE ADVISED THAT YOU ARE PURCHASING A BANGING, KNOCKING, ANNOYING REFRIGERATOR. THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS!!!

I purchased the gas range 2 years ago. Within a month something had dripped down on the glass of the door and when I attempted to clean it, realized I was unable to because it was between the two layers of glass! Most ridiculous design. Id noticed that the back panel gets very hot when the oven or broiler is used. Tonight Im unable to turn off the broiler. Ive just been reading some of the other comments made by customers and realize it will almost be cheaper at this point to buy a new stove by another brand than to buy another piece of garbage like this item has turned out to be. The knob design is ridiculous as well. Leaky and different than any stove Ive had in the past. Think Im turning it off and its not off but LOW. Item looks good but shoddy made.Refrigerator is the same. This item looks good but dents so easily because the metal is so flimsy. My shelves are made of plastic and glass and the plastic has become brittle with the cold and many are developing cracks. I would sadly NEVER, EVER recommend this brand to a friend again. Im very disappointed and my family has always been a Frigidaire supporter.

Dont buy Frigidaire, Electrolux, and sadly GE appliances (all one company now owned in Sweden). My Frigidaire side by side broke after less than 5 years and the only thing they will offer me after calling twice and speaking with a manager (first supervisors name was ** the second was **) both times is 50% off (not including shipping) a part needed when ordered through them after paying for a diagnostic visit of $78. After doing my research consumers should expect a fridge to last 10-15 years. This company only want to guarantee you that their $1,000-$3,000 product will last a year! After that they believe you should pay more to protect yourself from their poor quality and unreliable product as they will not stand behind and guarantee the quality.I think this is completely unacceptable and disgraceful. And the company could care less. I asked them to allow me a credit of $78 from what I would be paying the repair man quote, towards the part as I felt that would be more fair and they refused. So after paying over $1,000 for their product that failed in less than half its life expectancy they were unwilling to give me a credit of $78 with no remorse. Also while calling for service from local repair people I asked them from their experience who are the best and worst out there for refrigerators and they said best: Maytag and Whirlpool. Worst- Frigidaire/Electrolux /GE. Remember when you shop online and look at reviews- companies pay people to write great reviews but not to write bad ones. So take special note of the poor reviews. Consumer affairs has them as a 1 star company.

We purchased our new home in 2015 and we bought all new Frigidaire Gallery appliances! This happened less than 2 years ago and we had problem with all of them, microwave broke down 2 months after we moved in, dishwasher 6 months, Frigidaire right after the dishwasher and now our stove exploded. I called the customer service and they told me they cant do nothing! Wanted to talk with the manager, but they told me their manager dont deal with customers, so after 1 hour discussion finally I get a hold of a supervisor who told me if I can prove I not physically damaged they will replace it, so I had to call in my own expense (107$). Their service guy who told me It doesnt look like physically damaged so he will do his reports, but since the report went in they dont answer for my phone calls, and just ignore all my messages! DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCTS! They are lying in about everything and all of their stuff is garbage!!!!

I have sent this to Frigidaire twice now in two weeks with no call or reply. Their auto-reply states you will get a call back within 48 hours. We purchased some land and built a house on it in October of 2014. I went online and compared ratings for the 5 appliances we were going to put in our new house. Frigidaire was one of the few that had pretty solid ratings for all five appliances we needed. We had our builder work with his appliance company which was out of I think Tappahannock, Virginia. They ordered and installed all of them. The appliances we purchased are as follows: Dishwasher (Mod# FGID2474QF0A SN# KH41722641), Refrigerator (Mod# FFSS2614QS0 SN# 4A42730844), Cook Top Stove (Mod# FPEC3685H5A SN# 3535107151), Microwave (Mod# FGMV175QFA SN# KG42705552), Double Oven (Mod# FFET2725PSC SN# AF41601871).Here is a list of the issues to date. Microwave - before we could even use it the front door had issues and it had to be replaced. Refrigerator - this issue still exists and is the latest issue we have experienced. Ice Maker not getting water to the ice maker. I have changed the filter and worked with your support person and the issue still exists. Cook Top Stove - this was the biggest issue we had. Little Appliance came to our house at least 6 times for this unit. We went without a stove for 3 weeks or more one time and a week or two another time. After several attempts they finally replaced the whole unit. Dishwasher - The operator panel was just locking up intermittently and I think after two visits they replaced the board for this issue. Double Oven - this issue still exist as well. When the unit says it is preheated I believe it is the top over still is not as hot as the bottom oven. We were told to give it an extra 15 to 20 minutes after it says it is preheated. I would like a call back from a manager within Frigidaire to discuss these issues. Some additional Information - we have three people that use the products in this house all at the age of 48 and up. No kids.

This dishwasher hasnt worked correctly since first purchasing it in Feb 2020. I tried to return it to Amazon within weeks of initially buying it and was told I would have to try to get it fixed through the warranty. Amazon would not accept a return without an outside company verifying that it could not be fixed. Now- 10 months later, Ive been working with Frigidaire/Electrolux warranty repair and it is a NIGHTMARE. DO NOT buy any Frigidaire or Electrolux products. They are crap, their warranty relies on certified repair people to come out and those repair people are scamming.I have been getting multiple emails for months saying the repair people have ordered parts and they have arrived and when I call to schedule the appointment for them to come out as instructed, they tell me they have no parts and they will have to order them. Its very obvious that the repair company is ordering parts from Frigidaire and using them for something other than fixing my machine. Frigidaire will not do anything when I tell them that the repair people are lying saying that they are coming out with parts. All they tell me is that it has to be fixed because the repair company is saying it can be fixed. Its been 11 months now. Im saying that they can not fix it if it has been 11 months. I wish I would have read a review like this when trying to decide which brand to go with. My advice is go with ANY BRAND OTHER THAN FRIGIDAIRE AND AMAZON.

I spent over $1800 in Sears on a small wall oven 5 months ago and what a waste of money. I used the Self Clean feature on the lowest setting for the first time, just to see what it was like. I followed the instructions and everything seemed fine. Until I went to use the broiler the next day. Nothing. Then I tried the oven. Again nothing. Neither would get hot. So I called Frigidaire and scheduled for a technician to come out. I was given a date and took the day off. He didnt show up and their customer service Reps were very rude. So I called back Frigidaire and scheduled for a different service company to come out. The Rep called me and asked what happened to the oven. After I told him, he said he knew what had happened and ordered a new thermostat. It took nearly 2 weeks to arrive. When he eventually showed up with a colleague, almost 4 weeks later, the oven didnt get fixed. The gas pipe is in the wrong position and they didnt want to touch it. So Im still waiting to get this oven fixed and Im extremely frustrated. Frigidaire is not a reliable company when it comes to the quality of their appliances or the companies they use to repair them. My previous oven lasted 30 years and this one didnt even last 6 months. I will NEVER buy another appliance made by them or recommend them to anyone. DONT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS!

My range is 2 years old and have already had the bottom or the oven replaced 3 times because the porcelain on the bottom cracks, which then sends out a horrible smell and ruins your food. I receive no help from Frigidaire since it is out of its one year manufacture warranty even though the first time was only 4 months old. The Frigidaire company will not even talk to me. When I ask to speak to a manager, I am told their managers do not speak to consumers. My extended warranty is from Lowes; their service center only knows how to answer a question reading off a script. Now my electric board went out so again I go weeks without a oven. ATTENTION CONSUMERS!!!! DONT BUY!! This is an honest warning from one consumer to another! Don’t buy Frigidaire. They don’t last more than 7 years. I replaced my Kenmore fridge and that’s still making ice and water as we speak in the garage just fine. My fridge from Frigidaire cut out on me 3 times and parts were replaced 3 times at my expense and yet again broke down. My gas range seems to auto ghost mode on at 400 degrees or higher so now I have to keep that unplugged. My dryer was worked on several times and $100’s was poured into my dryer for parts and labor. The washer doesn’t spin the water out of clothes anymore. And now the dishwasher just generates random wash times while in a wash cycle.Frigidaire products are garbage and won’t last. I spoke to a corporate supervisor. And it was a slap to the face to offer me 20% off parts after explaining my situation and what has been going on since I purchased these products. All in all if you want cheap buy from Frigidaire. If you want to talked to like an idiot buy Frigidaire. Or if you truly listen to other consumers go elsewhere!!!

The range oven lower drawer bearings have worn out despite very infrequent use. This causes it to site much lower on 1 side. You have to order a new drawer arm and bearings for this. First issue at 3 mths- screws were not tightened from the factory inside the dryer properly which came loose and fell inside the unit causing the heating element to seize. Belt was replaced, but technician replaced a motor control sensor on washer which did not fix the problem. Frigidaire will not yet replace our unit and is ordering 5 MORE PARTS to fix the washer!!I have asked multiple times if we can have a replacement unit since the machine is intrinsically faulty! And I am told that there will be no placement of our unit until the TECH dept deems it unrepairable, which the technician that worked on the unit is saying that he feels its unrepairable. This has taken 6 weeks now and Im still without a washer! Not to mention the trips to the laundromat, the time off of work I have taken to be home for the repairman. These appliances are only 15 months old and Ive had numerous problems with them and Id like to warn others about them and encourage them not to buy them. After being married for 49 years we had all new matching appliances and I was thrilled! But these appliances have been nothing but problems... Before the warranty was up, I had to have 4 or 5 service calls on the refrigerator. The first time I tried to clean my self-cleaning oven, the glass in the door shattered and I was left without an oven for about 2 weeks before they got it fixed, and was told by the service man that it really isnt good to use the self clean feature because it could damage parts in the stove. Now about a month ago my dishwasher just stopped working! Now Frigidaire did agree to cover the cost of the repair since it was only 14 months old, but only because I really put up a fight, but now a month later Im still without a working dishwasher! Service man came out yesterday and it seemed to work because I cleaned it because it had been sitting for 2 weeks and I wanted it clean before I washed dishes. After dinner last night I loaded it up and started it and about 3 hours later, my husband and I were in the living room watching tv, and it started making noises. I checked to see if the dishes were clean and they werent so I called service again and now its going to be another 5 to 7 business days before they can even get the part! Im just thoroughly disgusted and I want to warn others about it..

I purchased my product from Best Buy in 2007. I was pleased with the product for the first few months. Over a period of time, I always smelled something burning when I opened the cooler side door, like plastic; but, I was never able to locate where this was coming from. On January 31, 2012, I opened the door for about 15 minutes to clean out the product and kept smelling burning plastic. I looked up and was in awe at what I found. The (original) light bulb, that rest on the ceiling of the refrigerator (fridge), had burned right into the lining of the ceiling. At that time, I realized this is a faulty product; this product should not be in any home. I have a repair man come out and view the fridge, and he stated this shouldnt be in my home because, this could potentially cause a fire and burn my house down, leaving my family homeless!I went to http://www.frigidaire.com/contactus and filed a complaint through email; the response that I received was a standard response any company would use to not accept responsibility and place the blame on the customer, who bought the product. The response was as follows: Thank you for contacting Frigidaire. We sincerely regret you have experienced difficulties with your refrigerator. Frigidaire provides very comprehensive warranties with each product to guard against any parts that may be defective at the time of manufacture. However, we are sure you can appreciate that a point is eventually reached when the manufacturers responsibility for repairs under the initial warranty must end.Our experience has shown that an original defect in material or workmanship will develop very early in the life of the appliance. After a reasonable period of service, many factors beyond the control of the manufacturer may affect any product. The problem experienced is almost always due to the door being left open for inordinate periods of time or from replacing the bulb with a wattage too high for an appliance application. There is a liner repair kit available that an authorized Frigidaire service provider can install that will repair the damage. Please choose from among the following authorized Frigidaire service providers that serve your area: Major Brands Appliance Service, LLC / Newton, IA / 50208-3226 / (641)831-3840 Appliance Service Center / Des Moines, IA / 50315-5072 / (515)256-3090American TV Appliance Service / Madison, WI / 53713-2346 / (800)854-6659We offer extended service agreements for all customers who register their appliances with us to guard against any unusual problems that may occur outside of warranty beyond usual wear and tear. Thank you again for contacting Frigidaire, BoThis, is not acceptable. I had my Frigidaire appliances installed 1.5 years ago. I bought the four-appliance deal for $1,700 after rebate. Just recently, my oven just stopped working from one day to the next. I literally used it once about 6 months ago. The control panel just went out. I thought it was off because of a power surge in the neighborhood. But I realized that if that was the case, the clock would have turned back on eventually by itself. But it never did. The gas burners work fine. When I called Frigidaire, they said, Sorry, youre no longer under warranty. I asked them to send a tech out at their expense since the stove was only 2.5 years old and this was obviously a defective appliance. They said no. Whats more upsetting is that I had just thrown out my old stove which I held on to for a while because I was worried about buying new appliances. And boy was I right. They just dont make anything like they used to. My old one was over 10 years old and it worked fine. Frigidaire has terrible quality and I would never purchase it again. Oh and my dishwasher doesnt work right either. Thats about $900 down the drain for those two items. Thanks, Frigidaire! Im not even going to bother trying to fix it. Maybe, I can sell it for parts.

Do not buy Frigidaire - Period. Warranty support is rigid and un-workable. My $250 de-humidifier failed after seven months, with a bad circuit board (top). To replace the unit, Frigidaire wanted me to drive out of town to a small country location to exchange the defective unit for a replacement. Frigidaire did not provide any assistance beyond that. Note: I live in a 250,000 city/county (Greenville).I repeatedly called to complain regarding the insanity and they finally gave me a special 2nd choice. I could send a certified letter (folks, this costs money, right? How is that warranty support?) with their informational requirements to Charlotte, NC. They expressed no concern regarding how to dispose of a portable unit with refrigerant (not environmentally friendly) but left it with me. I quit using profanity about two years back but this issue brings me close to NOT.Please get this - I did everything - even offered to give a credit card for a purchase/return transaction. 90% of vendors allow transactions like this. Nope - not Frigidaire. In my opinion, they just hate their customers with a happy smile. Youll hear repeatedly... our policy ad nauseam. So, readers... today, I certify that I will no longer buy anything Frigidaire, period. Will not, will not, will not. And after telling them I would be posting something truthful like this, they still didnt care.

We bought this stove/oven in 1986 and had it installed in our (then) new house. It has faithfully performed for the last 35 years with absolutely no problems. Weve never had to have it serviced and it continues to work well.

I bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator with over $200 off and the unit will not cool below 60. The freezer goes to -20 but not the food area. I was told to try all kinds of tests like unplugging the unit, wait 5 minutes, plug it in and turn the thermostat all the way up, then down, then up again, then down..... all to no avail... From new Lowes wants to send out an appliance tech to fix my new fridge. No, I just want my money back. I will buy anything other than a Frigidaire.

We purchased a Frigidaire Gallery French Door Refrigerator six years ago from Howards. It cost us over $2000. In October 2016, it stopped cooling and freezing and we first noticed an SYCF code. We called Frigidaire and were told to order the control board which sits behind the ice maker. The part was ordered on Nov 6 and came after Thanksgiving! I was so mad and when I called Frigidaire, they refunded us for this part because it took over three weeks to get. This control board didnt fix the issue, so we called them back. It was recommended that we call a certified technician on their list. I contacted Riddle after speaking with Frigidaire. Theyre a certified repair service for Frigidaire. I called on Tuesday, Jan 3 in the morning and their technician, Ben, showed up that afternoon. After 15 minutes, he diagnosed the problem is that the switch board with two 5 amp fuses needed to be replaced. He said that he would call the following day to give me a price for the service and labor. For the 20 minutes he was here, it was a $79.00 service charge. I received a call from Ben the following morning at 10:00 a.m. stating that the cost would be $629.20 because he would replace the switch board (that he diagnosed the day before) and the main control board (below the refrigerator). I said THREE times that youre charging me for the main control board based on an assumption you have that it wont work because the switch board doesnt work. I said that isnt right since he didnt diagnose or test the main control board to see if it needed to be replaced. He is basically charging me for a product that may not be broken. The original cost was around $350 and now with this new bogus main control board, it totaled $629.20. AVOID USING RIDDLE who is suppose to be certified repair company for Frigidaire. I called Frigidaire and explained my experience with Riddle and ordered the main control board. The rep I spoke to pulled up the specs for this model and I clearly stated its the control board which sits behind the fridge, at the top left. I confirmed THREE times because he kept calling it something else. He assured me that it was the right item. About 7 business days later, I received the item and guess what? It was wrong.I called and spoke to Juanique, corporate manager on Jan 12, 2017 (remember, our fridge has been broken since October 2016) and she returned the incorrect item and shipped out the right part. She gave me 20% off and free ground shipping because of all my issues. As we waited for the part, we decided to buy a new fridge to avoid all the headache and future issues with this refrigerator. On 2/1/17, I called and requested an RMA number. It took over 10 minutes because the rep (April) could not locate the order. Their system is absolutely ancient and wastes too much time for the consumer. My experience with this location has been NEGATIVE. The customer service reps need more training, attitude adjustments. The two managers I spoke to were very helpful and actually fixed the problems created by their employees. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE GALLERY FRENCH DOOR refrigerator (model #FGHB2844LF1). The ice maker broke two years into the purchase. We didnt fix it since we have a U-Line ice maker.

Frigidaire makes the crappiest appliances on the planet. I have had Frigidaire refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers in homes and apartments where I have lived over the years. They have all been substandard, cheap appliances that are inferior when working, and prone to frequent breakdowns. I have had to replace many a Frigidaire product over the years. DO NOT BUY A FRIGIDAIRE ANYTHING!!!

On Christmas morning I turned our Frigidaire range on to cook our Christmas turkey. Our stove is only 2.5 years old. There was a loud pop and I turned to see flames coming from the back of the stove licking at the wall. My husband quickly pulled the range away from the wall as I shut the stove down. The flames subsided but thick black smoke was still coming from the back panel. Never will I buy a Frigidaire appliance again. We could have lost our home on Christmas morning if we hadnt been in the kitchen. Cooking a turkey for a group of guests on an outdoor grill in 40 degree weather is miserable. Thank you Frigidaire for your junk... Your Frigidaire dishwasher starts by itself so it is unplugged... Your Frigidaire microwave with vent is worthless. We are replacing these new Frigidaire products one at a time for our familys safety.

Very quiet. Does excellent job of cleaning dishes without rinsing them first. Cleaning cycle is shorter than most other brands. Has 6 different wash cycles and 4 different drying cycles. The silverware tray is easy to fill and keeps them separated. Very reliable. It's approximately 10 years old and never had service on it.

Purchased a Frigidaire side by side. Within a few months the liner in the refrigerator started to crack. Called Frigidaire to have a repair done. Repair was done only to look like they placed tape over the cracks. Called to let Frigidaire know I was unhappy for them to tell me they couldnt replace because the factory didnt condemn it to be not in working order. Paid over 800 for this and to be stuck with something that looks like my 3 year old fixed.

My wife and I recently purchased a new home, and the deal included relatively new kitchen appliances. Unfortunately, our Frigidaire refrigerator was of such bad quality, and our experience with the company was so poor, we felt obligated to document what weve encountered in hopes of informing others to avoid the brand. Our refrigerator was in reasonable shape upon moving into the house. Within 1 year of normal use by a family of 4, the plastic inside and outside the unit started showing fractures. Finally, random pieces of plastic, and then whole sections of shelves began breaking off.We called Frigidaire, who informed us the unit had been purchased by the original owner in 2010, so none of what we experienced was under warranty -- We were informed that the replacement price for a SINGLE SHELF was $60! Amazingly, they refused to cover the near-total deterioration of most of the plastic shelving in the unit under any sort of manufacturing defect agreement. Instead, wed be required to pay hundreds of dollars to replace the plastic shelves & moldings out of our own pocket. Frigidaire: The right call wouldve been to stand by your products by offering an apology and replacement shelves, if not for free, then at a reasonable price. Youve left a very bad taste in our mouths, and have certainly lost our trust and business.

Had a warranty issue on my washer. Service man sent by warranty came out, fixed the issue. When he put the washer/dryer combo back in he crushed the vent hose. This went unnoticeable for some time as it is a vacation rental home. Now fryer stopped working due to a crushed vent and Frigidaire said its my problem to go after their service man to repair what their guy damaged! Buy from anyone other than Frigidaire/Electrolux! Their manager even hung up on me when I told them their guy broke it!!!

We bought the set in 2011 and I sat down and read the book with the washer and dryer from cover to cover. My husband laughed at me but found out heavy clothes on the bottom, lighter clothes on the top, has a clean cycle you do once a month. Doesn't show on the panel of the washer but tells you in the book how to access it. Mine is in a basement and has never had a bad odor or any mechanical problem in 3 years. Uses very little water and clothes come out clean and smell great. I open the door when done and pull out the soap and bleach dispenser tray when not in use. My sister says her cleaning woman works for others and has had every front loader break down often. I maintain it's how we treat them. If you load them all carelessly, it makes them off balance and will cause damage. Will buy another set if these ever quit on me.

I recently remodeled my kitchen. I bought all the professional series Frigidaire appliances. I wish I had not done that. They were very expensive. I can not believe how cheaply made they are and feel as well. The appliances are not even 3 months old and yet I have had the service tech/company to my home 3 times already. Microwave will not heat. My refrigerator barely makes ice yet the cooling drawer freezes everything (This is a drawer inside the refrigerator that should keep things a little colder than the rest of the refrigerator). I have had to throw out vegetables and other food as it freezes everything. The dishwasher racks are so flimsy... I get nervous that it will not be able to hold the weight of dishes or glasses that I put on them. I would love to have my reliable old appliances back that did not cost me a fortune. I would not recommend buying anything Frigidaire. I would recommend GE profile and or Kenmore. Never ever had a problem with these reliable brands.

My washing machine has not worked since early Nov. 2016. Frigidaire has sent two different repair companies. The first one gave up as they were not able to fix it, the second repair company has not been able to figure out whats wrong with it. They tried changing the computer first which did not fix the machine. 2nd they tried changing something with the door which also did not fix the machine. It has been a pattern of trying different things without success. The current repair company has told us that the machine is not repairable and has also told the Frigidaire, but Frigidaire technicians keep insisting on trying different things.Throughout all this, We have had a total of 5 visits from the repair companies. I had to miss 3 days of work because I have to be home when they go to the home. The second company was able to work on Saturdays, but Frigidaires technicians are not available on weekend so the repair person cant talk on the phone with them while they look at the machine. I have complained about their process without any success since we still dont have a machine that works. I have spoken with 3 supervisors and one manager and keep getting the same message that their technicians still want to try something else. So they shipped some cables supposedly next day delivery on the week of 12/13 so we set up an appointment on 12/20 for the repair company to show up. The cables never made it to the home so I canceled the appointment with the repair company.I spoke with Frigidaire and now the cables were going to be deliver on 12/31 so I set another appointment with the repair company on 1/3. The cables never arrived on 12/31 so I canceled another appointment. Now Frigidaire tells me that the cables will not be deliver until 1/6/17. By now we are on two months in with a machine that is supposed be new and does not worked. I was also told by one Frigidaires support technicians that their notes showed repairs done in 1/16/16 for a similar issue with the door, before I actually moved to the new condo, purchased the condo on 2/16/16 with all new appliances. Unfortunately they are all from Frigidaire and given my current experience with this company I will never purchase and will tell friends to not purchase from this company. This also means that when the cables actually get delivered I will have to miss a 4th day of work so that the repair person can see the machine. It has been a nightmare dealing with Frigidaire as they are very insensitive to their customers needs, they seem to not care for their customers as we are now two months in without a working machine. Thank you.

Have a $3000 + refrigerator that BOTH the crisper door fronts separated and are now unusable. First drawer broke at 18 month. Second drawer broke at 20 months. Just my wife and I, no kids banging them. They are cheaply made. Called customer service. Of course was told that it is out of warranty. One year. I tried to tell the rep that according to research this is common issue for this unit and that drawers have been replaced outside warranty. Was offered to buy another drawer that will break in 18 months. Got nowhere. Told him he left me no choice than to go on social media. Asked him to hold on so I could get some paper to write his name down. He hung up on me. Was transferred to the survey which conveniently could not hear my verbal answers or receive any keypad input so I could not leave a poor rating. They are not going to address ANY needs out of warranty for known defects with their product. Good luck.

We bought the Frigidaire Professional Series package from Build.com and since we installed everything in our new home we have had unresolved issues, dozens of service repairs and no resolve on multiple issues. The refrigerator makes loud noises (sounds like an airplane jet & chirping sounds). The oven racks do not slide in and out with ease and are scraping the coating off the inside of the oven and the surface cooktop is discolored with rust. Frigidaire did replace the range with another but we have the exact same issues again. The dishwasher never dries out and Frigidaire told us to leave the door ajar in between wash cycles.Every time we call Frigidaire we have to explain our situation over and over. The representatives just keep sending service repair out to work on brand new appliances. 4 different repair companies have been to our home since July 2016 when we moved in. The repair shops have even contacted the Frigidaire factory technicians to tell them we need a full refund on everything and Frigidaire declines the request. We have filed a complaint with the FTC and tried so many times to get our money back. Every time we request to speak with a supervisor who can resolve our problem they tell us we have no one else to talk to. Frigidaire refuses to own up to the defects in the Profession series line. Frigidaire does not stand behind their products.
