Induction and Gas CookTop?

Induction and Gas CookTop?
Posted On: April 12, 2023

I'm looking for something that I'm not sure exists (yet).

On the hunt for a 48” natural gas/induction range top or cooktop. Ideally four NG + 2 induction burners.

Any thoughts or know of something coming down the pipeline? Thanks!.

Question from user lj_rice at Appliances at reddit.com.

Answer:

I'm not aware of any 48" natural gas/induction range top or cooktops that currently exist on the market. However, there are several brands that offer 48" gas cooktops with four burners and 48" induction cooktops with two burners.

If you're looking for a combined natural gas/induction cooktop, you may need to consider having a custom solution made by a manufacturer. Many high-end appliance manufacturers offer custom design and fabrication services that can help you create a cooktop that meets your specific requirements.

You may also want to keep an eye on new product releases from appliance manufacturers, as they are constantly developing new products and may release a 48" natural gas/induction range top or cooktop in the future.

In the meantime, you could consider using a separate 48" gas cooktop and a 48" induction cooktop side by side, which would give you the six burners you're looking for. You could also consider using a portable induction cooktop as an additional cooking surface when needed.
