Heater works well overall, it first heat up as fast as we thought it would based on reviews but if you give it time the pool warms up.

This month is great, super quite but remember it is loud while it primes for about 3 minutes but after that its just about silent. It also saves me so much money on my utility bill compared to my single stage pump.

Replaced my 400,000 BTU Ray Pak heater which had massive interior rust issues. The Pentair unit is largely plastic cinstruction and the weight is considerably lighter making installation in tight spaces much easier, about 50% less.

The Max e heater is consistent for performance and consistency for heating. I am on my second heat, the first lasted 10 years of year round use in the Northeast! Highly recommend this heater!

This is my third one of these heaters and they do a great job. The first two lasted about 10 years each, which is much longer than my first conventional pool heater that only lasted half that long. This heater can heat my 35K gallon pool at about one degree per hour when I start it up in late April in Missouri. That compared to the older heater that took twice as long. Runs very quiet. Each one has needed some maintenance after about 5 years, but maintenance costs only ran about $200-$300 per year for replacing wiring, cleaning, replacement board.
