Very good support from Alister, the service manager covering this part of Scotland. There was a problem with our ground source heat pump, dealt with under warranty. The part that appears to have been at fault has been quickly replaced and if it turns out to be a different part, he has a plan to sort it. He also gave lots of good advice on optimising the system. A good and confidence-inspiring experience all round.

We had a Stiebel Eltron air source heat pump (ASHP) system installed around 4 years ago by an approved engineer as part of a passive house new build. The system has never worked properly. Particularly the DHW reheat is frought with issues. Either it doesn’t work at all or it heats the towel rails which prevents the hot water getting up to temperature. Diverter values have been replaced along with circuit boards but to no avail. Can’t comment on the technical support provided to the heating engineer as we do not have direct contact with Stiebel Eltron but we are the end customer and are very dissatisfied with the product. After this length of time we might have expected Stiebel themselves to come out to fix it or replace it.

As always the team and equipment at Stiebel Eltron continues to delivery the highest qulaity equipment and service levels which are key for our installation company to depend on time after time.

Excellent communications with the technical advice team. Really helpful staff, quick response, pertinent advice. We have yet to purchase/install the heaters in question but are hoping soon to be able to update the review with a good report of these too.

Installed one of their heat pumps and the process was great. Contacted them before install they had one of there engineers come out to my office and go through training, when I installed their heat pump they then came out and helped with commissioning and the heat pump. Worked perfectly the customer is delighted all round good experience
