SunPak Appliance Error Codes
The original SunPak patio heater was designed in 1961 by Edwin Cowan, a leading U.S. infrared heating appliance engineer. A unique demand existed in California for decorative, yet practical, gas fired heaters. Cowan pioneered and developed the circular radiant heater concept primarily for use in country clubs, hotels and restaurants.
Gas Patio Heater Error Codes
If you are experiencing problems with your SunPak gas patio heater, here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Check the fuel level. Make sure that the fuel tank is full and that the fuel is flowing properly to the burner.
2. Check the ignition system. Make sure that the ignition system is working properly and that there is a spark at the burner.
3. Check for blockages. Make sure that there are no blockages in the fuel line or burner that could be preventing the heater from operating properly.
4. Check for leaks. Look for any signs of leaks in the fuel line or at the connections.
5. Check the thermostat. Make sure that the thermostat is set to the desired temperature and that it is functioning properly.
If you are unable to identify and resolve the issue, it is recommended to refer to the owner's manual for further troubleshooting steps or to contact the manufacturer or a professional appliance repair service for assistance.

Bought 2 of these for our patio and they really warm it up. Once installed they are easy to use.
I installed one of these in October, 1997, and it just died last week after nearly 18 years of heavy use. Remarkable considering that my house overlooks San Francisco Bay and experiences lots of salt air and humidity. The unit became pretty heavily corroded, but otherwise worked just fine and put out enough heat for my application. Now replacing with the stainless steel version.
Great heaters, easy to install and operate with the included remote controls. They put out a lot of heat and I like how there are 2 heat settings you can choose from. All in all, great quality and high-performance heaters. Recommend.
This heater is easy to install and heats our rather large Patio perfectly.
Easy to install and works great for our backyard oasis.
