Valor Gas Fireplace Reviews
Are you building a new home or renovating your current space? Valor's zero clearance gas fireplaces offer a number of sophisticated designs to customize your fireplace to your home's look and feel. Zero clearance fireplaces are pre manufactured fireplaces that can be installed almost directly against combustible materials like wood, walls, or paneling. The construction and materials of the firebox do not allow the outside temperatures of the firebox to affect those materials and do not require a hearth. Zero clearance fireplaces do not need a chimney for venting and can be vented through the ceiling or through an exterior wall.
The company has raised the bar by introducing new standards, such as the HeatShift technology, and other safety-related features to enhance the user’s experience.
All types of heating are not created equal, and what separates Valor gas fireplaces from the rest is radiant heat. Radiant heat offers comfortable, healthy and the most natural form of heating source available. The sun is an example of radiant heat, which heats by moving in straight lines. This warms all object in it’s path which in turn act as small heat conductors and multiply the warmth.
We moved into our house 12 years ago. It has a Valor fireplace insert upstairs. It is an uncomplicated device, throws out tons of heat and is the main heat source for that floor. We're in the process of building a house, a rancher with a walkout basement. We'll have a woodstove downstairs and I'm making sure that we have another Valor upstairs in the great room!
I've done repairs on Valor fireplaces. Generally they are pretty reliable and of good quality. The ones I've worked on have been a pretty nice, simple design, which is good. They tend to have a lot of specialty parts, but on the other hand the only thing that went bad with them was a burned out thermocouple or a bad wiring harness to the limit switch, and they improved the wiring harness. I'd consider getting one myself if I were in the market.
When the cold hits, you want a fireplace that's going to look stunning, work efficiently and keep your home warm and cozy. Sounds to me like you're looking for a Valor radiant gas fireplace. We've been selling Valor fireplaces for decades and we've been head over heels for their fireplaces since day one. They had us at 'Hello.' Some people may find it strange for people to be in love with 'things', but those who have a Valor fireplace completely understand the love you can have for a fireplace. For those of you who aren't lucky enough to currently own a Valor fireplace, keep reading to find out why we love Valor fireplace products so much and why we think you really ought to get yourself one.
