CODE: FLO 
PROBLEM: Sensors are detecting low water levels in the heat pump 
FIX: 
• Check that the pool pump is receiving enough water 
• Ensure that your pool pump is sending water to the heat pump 
• For variable speed pool pumps, try putting the pump speed up a notch 
• Check for any clogs or backups causing poor water circulation 

CODE: CEr 
PROBLEM: A communication cable may be damaged or disconnected 
FIX: 
• Have a professional pool heat pump repair tech inspect your pump and circuit boards to resolve the issue 
• Consider over-the-phone, DIY pool heater troubleshooting 

CODE: CSE 
PROBLEM: This code indicates an error within the control system 
FIX: Turn off power at the breaker, wait a few minutes, then turn the power back on

PROBLEM: The defrost sensor may be disconnected or shorted

PROBLEM: Temperature of incoming water exceeds 110 degrees; heat pump locked

• Check that there isn’t another heat source warming up your water
