Does a good job cleaning dishes. Its quiet and has plenty of adjustments to accommodate different size dishes, pots and pans. The most annoying thing is starting the washer cycle. You must press the start button for the EXACT length of time or it wont start. Hold it too long (more than about 1.5-2 seconds) it wont start, hold it for less than 1 second, it wont start. Over the past few years Ive gotten the timing correct so that it starts about half the time without trying a second or third or fourth time. (Gets very frustrating at times and you feel like punching the damn thing). Also, the door handle trim broke not long after getting this unit. Thats annoying but not worth fixing.

Our dishwasher caught on fire and we found out it was under recall. We are eligible for a 40% off rebate towards a new Bosch dishwasher. But, after 6 phone calls, I still cannot get this form (which I need when I place an order). No one can offer any help besides supposedly emailing the form again. Now Im wondering if we should even get a Bosch at all. So, we have been without a dishwasher for a week. It will be at least another week (probably 2) because the whole process involves snail mail and placing an order online.

The control module failed and the motor burned up on the Axxis Washer. Total repair cost was $700.00. The repair technician was shocked at the amount of soot and black carbon inside the washer body, and he commented, You are lucky you didnt have a fire. Extensive emails with Bosch finally elicited a response: Tough and have a nice day. Bosch appliances are overpriced and do not deliver the quality nor reliability they represent in their brand. I would never buy again nor recommend it to my worst enemy. Simply put, in German, with Bosch: Alles immer schiesse. Buy domestic. Its cheaper to replace a domestic unit than repair a Bosch.

I purchased an Bosch 800 series dishwasher late 2018. This is my second Bosch dishwasher, I loved my first one. It was super quiet and cleaned beautifully. I cant say the same for this one. Last week it stopped working giving me an error message. I tried to troubleshoot myself. It makes a loud grinding noise, sounds like the drain pump. I called the 800 number, the call center tried troubleshoot to no avail. Scheduled service, the dishwasher is still under warranty.I requested the the latest appt in the day, to accommodate my work schedule and long story short the service department is very unaccommodating for customers that cant sit at home all day waiting to a tech. I was told they would send a list of other service vendors to who do Bosch warranty work in my community (Orlando, FL). After 2 requests for the list, still not received. My dishwasher is still not functional almost a week later. Extremely disappointed in the product and the lack of service for what is supposed to be a superior product.

2015 Bosch 800 Series Refrigerator B22CT80SNS. We purchased the Bosch 800 Series 36 counter depth refrigerator in August of 2015. The ice maker failed after 18 months and we paid to replace it. On or about April 21, 2019 the gas lines went (while we were away on vacation). They are located in the walls of the unit and warranted for an impressive two years. We have had a repairman out who told us that they, in fact, cannot be repaired. Therefore, our less than four year old $3145.98 refrigerator needs to be thrown out! We contact Bosch service who is willing to replace the unit for $900 plus tax after an extensive debate. They have generously agreed to have the new unit delivered and left in our driveway. There will be no install or haul away. We must do this ourselves. Therefore we are expected to carry the old unit down 15 stairs, the new unit up 15 stairs, or pay someone to do this. There will be no compensation for the $400 of meat and groceries that we lost while away on vacation. We are being prorated on a 10 year life expectancy for an expensive, high end, appliance at the retail rate. My research shows that 14 years is average lifespan of a refrigerator. I fondly remember my 30 year old Hotpoint refrigerator growing up. I dont think anyone would have treated a consumer this way years ago. I hope that after this is submitted, we are offered a fair replacement deal. I would love to be able to write that we had a positive outcome after all. It doesnt look promising.

DON’T BUY A BOSCH. PLEASE SHARE!! I’d give a minus 5 stars if possible!
DON’T BUY A BOSCH. PLEASE SHARE!! I’d give a minus 5 stars if possible!! Purchased a Bosch dishwasher December 11, 2015 from LOWES for our Florida condo. This condo is used FIVE (5) months out of the YEAR. So this dishwasher has been used 15 months! Lifetime tub warranty. Bad quality rubber seal. You can see by the photos it’s disintegrating. After calling, getting bounced around then waiting 24-48 hours for a return call...they send out their technician. He lies and says he never saw this before. We tell him we found out that our neighbor next-door at the condo had the same model and the exact same thing happened! Coincidental? I think not. Then he said, “Yes it’s bad batch of rubber and the dishwasher will leak. It’s not fixable.” Call again. The one department they transfer us to then another, we have to wait 24 to 48 hours for each return call, never give us direct numbers. We have to wait for them to return our calls. Then we have to fill out paperwork. They want to prorate the dishwasher. Make us pay almost $300 again for the proration, delivery fee and tax. Purchasing delivery installation we paid over $700 for this piece of crap. Filled out all the necessary paperwork. Never hear anything. Call, tell us they got it and reviewing now. Wait over a week. And NOW they say they never received the paperwork we filled out. Resend. We need to wait another 48 hours. From the beginning they knew the absolute last date we could have this dishwasher delivered. They had it in their notes. Well it’s too late now. We’re not going to be here any longer to have a delivery of the dishwasher. I will go buy a GE in the Fall and have it installed. I will never buy a Bosch again. I will do everything I can to let everyone know the lack of integrity and honesty this company possesses. Please share our story so another sucker doesn’t get taken. Bosch knew they had a bad failed batch of rubber seal gaskets out there. And yet they left their dishwashers in the vendor’s warehouse, no recall, to continue to push failed equipment on consumers to continue purchasing their subpar product. I’d like to shove this dishwasher right up their you know what. #boschisjunk #dontbuybosch #boschunethetical

To make things worse, I asked not to get ads and information in my email account, but I started getting it immediately from a no-reply address with no unsubscribe capability. Bosch Free Range Stove Model #HGS3052UC - My mom, 75 years old, called yesterday upset that her stove will not turn off. She called Boschs customer service to advise them that her stove will not turn off and that she needs someone to come take care of it. She was quoted approximately $129 for the first 18 minutes and $12 for every 6 minutes after that and told her the first available date was over a week later. So, in other words, they told her it will be ok for her oven to be on 24/7 for over a week until someone gets there. It gets better!! My husband went over to look at it and realized that the screen that displays the clock and functions was hanging off behind the glass. He opened the back to find that the control module was held on by double sized tape!! I kid you not!! This was supposed to be one of the better stoves and it is held together by tape!

We bought a new dishwasher in June 2012 and it no longer works. We have had the engineer out and it will take at least a week to get a new door lock and it might not be that, it might be sensors or door, etc. I paid a lot of money for this appliance and I have a Bosch washing machine which is over 3 years and has never broken down. I even recommended it to a friend! Now, I have a machine that is 3 months old (2 weeks of that we were on hold) that is no good. I have been sold a pup and I know it’s not going to be working more than working. When a machine is that new, surely it should just be replaced.

Bought both a Bosch Hedge trimmer and a Pressure washer with some money I had been given as a present. I, like many other people, had been brainwashed into thinking that German products were the best and that by buying Bosch, Id be buying a good product. Firstly, the Hedge trimmer seemed ok, used it once or twice until the third time it seized up and refused to work. I took it back to the shop I bought it from and was given a new one. That one too, seized up and blew the RCD in the house. The internals had fallen to pieces (cheap plastic). I took that back and got a Black and Decker instead. Worked brilliantly, and still does ten years on! Pressure washer next. Used once. Seemed ok. Not brilliant but average. Used a second time and the lance fell to bit spraying me in the face!!! Cheap and nasty plastics! Took it back and was given another one. Motor failed on that one after 2 months of average usage! Bosch? CRAP!

My lower Bosch oven has always been slow to preheat but it wasnt until the oven surface was being cleaned while the oven was on that I realized that the oven was very hot to the touch on the lower outside of the oven door. Three visits by an authorized tech to rule out problems with the door and gaskets resulted in his conclusion that the oven has a defect that it is a fire hazard as heat is going into the surrounding wall. I am asking other consumers who find their ovens are slow to preheat to actually check the outside border of the oven while on to see if it is hot. I am filing complaints with the relevant state and federal consumer product safety organizations in the hope of starting a recall. So check your in the wall Bosch ovens while on.

INVESTIGATE: BOSCHs @YOUR SERVICE (AT-YOUR-SVC) (KIRKLAND, WA) PROVIDER FOR FRAUD. FILE NO. **. My BOSCH microwave stopped working on 11/27/2017, I contacted BOSCH customer support and was recommended to schedule an appointment with BOSCH authorized @Your Service (Kirkland, WA) local service provider. The owner/technician showed-up on 11/29/2017, ran microwave for 30 seconds and created an invoice stating that Magnetron, PC board w/ inverter and Control board membrane have stopped working. I requested the technician to at least open up the microwave to check but he declined stating that he has enough (30+ years) experience to know whats going on. I paid $120 for 5 mins diagnostics and was assured that this amount will be used towards the appliance repair.@Your Service asked me to order parts directly from BOSCH. I paid $300 for all parts and received it last weekend. @Your Service was scheduled to come on 12/14/2017 for the repairs but they declined stating that they dont have time to fix it and were upset that the parts were sent directly to my home instead of their service location. They now refuse to fix the microwave. I have now scheduled BOSCH to repair the microwave on 01/02/2018. I want BOSCH to investigate the following:1) How can a BOSCH authorized service provider do the diagnosis to identify broken parts & charge customer without even opening the appliance? Is BOSCH really trying to sell & push more spare parts to customers via these 3rd party providers? 2) What are guidelines for BOSCH to authorize a local service provider? Based on my experience @Your Service (AT-YOUR-SVC) (KIRKLAND, WA) is a FRAUD company, using BOSCHs brand name for business and cheating customers. 3) How can I file a formal complaint to BOSCH management to investigate this and exclude @YOUR SERVICE from being an authorized BOSCH service provider? Happy to engage with a manager/executive to discuss this in detail.

My Bosch oven developed a crack in the glass door. Contacted customer services to explain the problem. They arranged for an engineer to call 4 days later between 8 & 5 pm. The engineer did not turn up till after 4.30 pm. He then confirmed a fault but said he could not fix it as he had no part. Checked on his laptop to discover the wrong part had been ordered anyway & was not booked out to any engineer. Proceeded to contact Bosch & was told a repair could not be arranged for another week. This meant I had no oven for two weeks. Really not on. In our sixties & I also provide meals for my elderly neighbour who suffers from Alzheimers. Contacted a person from the company & no help from them. One very dissatisfied customer & doubt I would buy anything again or recommend to friends. Poor after care service.

Absolutely love this stove. I use the convection more than anything because it seems to cook more quickly and food tastes better on this function. The stove top definitely heats up even on low knobs so be careful! Always start stovetop on lower settings especially if you have expensive pots and pans! When you are cooking in oven, be sure to press Kitchen Timer and not Oven Timer or the oven will automatically turn off after your done cooking which is nice but I always use Kitchen Timer button so that I don’t have to keep reheating the oven if I am cooking more than one dish or if I need to continue to time items on stove top. The depth for dishes is larger than my last stove but not as wide no complaints but just depends on what size pans your using. I love it!

I had a Bosch refrigerator for many years and was very happy. I recently had to renew the fridge and opted to buy Bosch again, however I am very disappointed in the new design. Shelves are not the right distance apart (not allowing the stacking of such things as 2 yogurt pots) thus wasting lots of space, putting a huge draw in place of a door shelf, door shelves with a cover, the freezer is much smaller than the previous even though the external dimensions are the same. The new fridge makes lots of squeaking noises. Your designers are IDIOTS. I will be looking at another manufacturer when I change this fridge.

A Bosch compact pair (each 24 inches wide) has been great for 15 years, and the dryer just died, and I replaced it with this unit so I could still plug the old Bosch washer into the dryer for power. Bosch is only making ventless dryers now, and I bought this against my better judgment because the reviews of the ventless dryers have been terrible. Bosch apparently went to ventless because of new regulations about lint fires in ducted dryers. This dryer is great! The automatic sensor is adjustable for different levels of dryness. It is faster than the previous vented Bosch dryer, and the clothes come out perfect. The fact that the washer spins to 1200 means the clothes are already pretty dry. If your washer does not spin at 1200, that might explain why clothes would take a long time to dry in this dryer. The condensation unit at the bottom of the dryer drains into a hose which empties into the same drain as the washer. (If you have a 3 prong outlet, the manual shows how you can rewire the dryer for a 3 plug cord, or you can replace the outlet) . Some warm dry air is emitted from the dryer and we use it to help heat the house when it is cold. Why waste this source of heat? In the summer I will direct the warm air into the garage or turn on the exhaust fan in the laundry room. In short, we are thrilled with this dryer. We have only had it a short time, and hope it will last as long as its predecessor.

I remodeled my kitchen in July of 2011. I got a gas stovetop and the vent is the Bosch 10282541 downdraft system. This is approx. $1,200 and has never worked for more than a month at a time. Currently, its not working, and Bosch will not repair it. I contacted Bosch in October of 2011 and they gave me a name of a company to work with. They came out, assessed the problem and after 6 weeks of no contact, no update, no fix, I had to contact Bosch and get another name of a company to fix the problem. Again, after weeks of delay, they came out and fixed it.And after 2 months, the vent broke again. They were in the process of fixing this, and again, it was delayed due to a back problem with the repairman. They did a partial fix, but then needed more repairs - and Bosch said the time was out for the year of in-warranty repair. During the first year this was installed, it was not working more than it was working. On Thanksgiving and every major holiday, I was without a fan. I contacted Bosch several times, and they promised to have a supervisor call me back, but that never happened. I have resolved to not buy Bosch appliances ever again as my fix.

The only compensation that Bosch would offer us is 40% off another dishwasher if we order it through their website. We purchased the Bosch microwave/speed oven (800 series) with an extended warranty along with several other Bosch appliances during a kitchen remodel in 2016. During the two years we have owned the appliances, the microwave has broken down three times. Boschs customer service has been atrocious! Many weeks waiting for an appointment and then more time waiting for parts and subsequent visits from a repairman. Most recently, the control panel was completely replaced on 8/17/18. This has been a horrible experience made worse today when I discovered during a baby shower that the Bosch warming drawer installed under the oven units had been damaged during the repair to the microwave! Never again will I recommend or purchase a Bosch product.

We really like this new dishwasher. It does take some use to understand how to load it. Some of the prongs are tight and placing a cereal bowl becomes difficult. The total capacity seems to be reduced from what we had in our old dishwasher. Cleaning is very good and the high-efficiency is excellent.

The dryer has been problem free. I have had this dryer for almost three years and have not had any problems. We live in a condo so we purchased this model because of the smaller size. It is fine for two people, but I would not recommend it for a family. The only downside is that it cannot handle large bulky items such as king size blankets.

Just as some other reviewers stated, my dishwasher door wouldnt close after one week and have been in limbo between Best Buy and Bosch. Bosch and their factory authorized technician said it is Best Buys installers fault and need a second opinion as to whether to fix or refer back to Best Buy and have referred to another technician. Bosch stated that they cannot take responsibility if its an installation related issue. You would think that Bosch would take responsibility for their product and then take up any installation and other problems with the retailer. But you would be mistaken. AVOID BOSCH APPLIANCES.

Food does not get off my utensils especially my knives. It looks as though they are rusty when it is food. A no handle dishwasher with buttons on the bottom of the handle does not light up. In a semi-dark kitchen, you cannot see the buttons to select and start the dishwasher. Poor design. I used to have an Asko and I think that it was bigger and brighter. No light inside and no lights outside. Other than that I dont feel one way or another about the appearance. It is really quiet. That is the reason I bought it over others. It does have its drawbacks.

I call this a defect and they should replace them, but they want to sell me new grates that they cannot tell me what kind of material they are made of. First of all they should replace the grates for free, why put some material that does not hold up to fire on the grates, and second why would they not be able to furnish me with information on the new grates as to the material they are made of and if they have the same plastic coating on the grates. Why would I want to buy the same junk so it can be an ongoing sale?

Has anyone else had an issue with model # SHP65T55UC/09 power box burning out? Weve owned 2 previous Bosch dishwashers and have always been satisfied with them, however, they had wall receptacles. In December, I came into the kitchen and could smell a very strong odour of electrical burning. The power box had over-heated (see attached photo). Customer Service at Bosch is claiming it was improperly installed. However, the service technician from Home Appliance Care in Ottawa, whom Bosch sent to replace and do a diagnostic, stated that it was indeed installed correctly. Bosch is refusing to refund me the cost of the power box replacement and has done nothing to convince me this wont happen again. They have not responded to my last email a month ago.

For a kitchen renovation in May 2018 I purchased Bosch oven, stove, dishwasher, hood and refrigerator. The 1st day the on/off button on the range hood broke AND the icemaker fell out of the refrigerator. They were repaired at no cost. 8 months later the refrigerator lost power. Upon calling for service we were informed there were 3 authorized dealers in Westchester, NY and we needed to wait 5 days for a repair person. This is not a rural area. Crazy that there are only 3 contracted repair companies. If we called our own repair person the warranty would become invalid and we would have to pay for the repair/part. The person came and said they needed to order a part (computer board) from out of state which would take 5 days. Whatever happened to overnight service? 10 days later the refrigerator which was 8 months old was repaired. We noticed the oven took 2x longer than a recipe required. Upon buying an in oven thermometer we determined that even after following directions to preheat, the oven did not get to the temperature it was set for even after 1 hour. The icemaker works at a snails pace. It takes 24 hours to spit out 10 cubes. I get the sense it doesnt work right. I would NEVER recommend Bosch appliances and I am VERY disappointed I purchased these products. THE WORST.

When the repairman came out to fix it, the numbers didnt tell him what was wrong, So he had to start looking for things.A belt was broken like a fan belt in a car, after taking that off, he tried to move the inside around. It still wouldnt move. He then took the motor top off and found down inside a pillow case wrapped around the motor. I was without a machine for 10 days. Now are you ready for this? I purchased my first Bosch appliance (dishwasher) on 6/1/17 after making note of an Installation Rebate offer from Bosch via a Bosch Visa Prepaid Card. The stated purchase date was required to be between 5/17/17 and 6/7/17, which it was. I immediately completed the rebate form even though the latest required postmark must be by 7/7/17 (over a month away). They promised reimbursement within 8 weeks and gave a website and phone number to check its status. After 4 1/2 weeks I received a typed response from Bosch saying that they were unable to process the request because it did not meet the cash register receipt requirement (not dated within the time period designated for this offer). I immediately contacted Lowes, where I purchased the dishwasher. I spoke with the manager on duty and showed him the copies of the rebated offer, register receipt, response from Bosch, etc. The manager on duty phoned Bosch rebates directly and verified that the date on the receipt was within the required date range. He told me that Bosch claimed that the month of 6 looked like a 5. We found this to be strange because it was obvious to both of us that it was a 6 for June. It was/could also be verified by the date on my charge card. If one person was in doubt, due to poor eyesight, they could of easily asked someone else or used a magnifying glass; which shouldnt of been necessary. Anyway, the Lowes manager spoke with Bosch that it was the correct date, and that they would immediately process the rebate. The Lowes manager said I should receive it within 2 weeks. After 2 1/2 weeks I checked their website for my rebate status. It recognized my information and gave me a tracking number; plus stated I had to allow more time. Two more weeks later, I had still not received it (4 1/2 weeks after the Lowes managers phone call, and 9 weeks after purchase). I checked the website again for status. This time it never recognized my name/address (even though I had also completed warranty information on 6/20/17 after 6/18/17 installation). It never recognized my tracking number that it gave me 2 weeks earlier; and when I called their phone number, it never recognized my phone number. They had now lost all of my information (or so they claimed). I (we) both thought their first excuse was inexcusable, but possibly a mistake; but after the 2nd 4 1/2 week period it gives every appearance of being a scam (intentional). I no longer believe they intend to honor their rebate offers, and just expect most consumers to forget about it, not care about it, neglect to make copies before sent in, etc.; and just pocket the savings (this time for $145).

I absolutely love this washing machine! It's quiet, efficient, and gets my clothes clean! I love the fast cycle as well as the extra rinse and the way it spins the clothes so well that they are almost dry! This is especially useful for clothes I plan to hang dry. A few things I noticed to improve performance and maintenance is to have a dedicated towel handy to wipe the water off the door and soak up any residual water left under the grey rubber flap around the circular opening. Water always collects there and if you don't soak this up with a towel, mold can grow over time. I also decided to add the detergent directly to the washer chamber instead of using the upper fill cartridges to avoid gunking up the interior tubes/slots that can also encourage mold growth. This was advice given to me from a relative with a similar machine. I do suggest using the slots for bleach as directed in the manual. Overall, an excellent machine! I only wish these compact machines were better priced, as they are all currently around twice the cost of a regular sized washer. (from all manufacturers) Somewhere around $600 seems more appropriate.

My father purchased a Bosch tankless water heater about 18 months ago. He had a professional plumber install the tank to the specifications that the factory mandates. The unit never did work properly. After hours on the phone with tech support listening to every reason in the book why it wasn't "their" fault , and hundreds if not thousands of dollars spent on a plumber they still will not honor their warranty and replace the unit. The problem with the unit is that whenever you turn on the cold water to make the water warm instead of scalding, the heater shuts off completely leaving you with ice cold water. The factory techs tell us that there is not enough water coming into the unit. Ok easy fix right "just tell us how much water is required". O wait the "tech" isn't allowed to suggest anything like that. My father is so frustrated he wants to take the unit outside and shoot it with a rifle. If there is a class action we want in!!!!!! I ordered a display circuit board for my Bosch oven. The display magically fixed itself by the time the part arrived, so I called Bosch to a coordinate return. My problem is with Boschs mandatory 25% restocking fee, and with the information I had to provide in order to secure my timely refund. The circuit board, the box in which it arrived in I never opened, cost $106. I paid $26.50 to restock a circuit board thats probably 1/8 thick, and 6 x 3 in size. Theres no effort to put this unused part back on the shelf. But it is what it is, and Bosch makes that clear in their return policy. While exorbitant, it wasnt a surprise. I just thought thered be more flexibility. After all, Im not returning a refrigerator. So as I moved through the return process, I had to provide a model number for the oven. If I didnt, the refunds would be delayed. I asked the representative why that mattered, and that it should have no bearing on my return. They have the part number, so that should be enough. I also commented that theyre charging me 25% to restock, so maybe they should figure that out. Representative was very polite, but said several times that her hands were tied. In the end, I provided much more information than is required to return the part, especially when considering theyre charging $25 to restock a circuit board whose connection to my return will be irrelevant when they sell it again. If Bosch is this complex and penalizing for their returns, I hate to think what happens when I have an actual problem with their products.

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher in August of 2012. Model number SHX33RF5UC/64. It has the hidden integrated control panel. It worked well until a few days ago when it stopped draining. I called a local appliance repair company, which has fixed our appliances for 19 years. The repair person who came looked at the dishwasher and then decided they that they werent familiar enough Bosch dishwashers to work on it. I called Bosch, they agreed to pay for a diagnostic visit from one of their approved providers. The repair person took off the front of the dishwasher and drained it. They told me that they could not diagnose it without taking it back to their store. They werent sure if it was the pump, the control panel, or both. I asked how much it might cost and they advised me that it probably would be around 300.00. I asked if he thought I should buy a new dishwasher, because the repairs were so expensive and they only warranted the repairs for 90 days. He recommended buying a new dishwasher. So now I have a dishwasher that fills up, washes but doesnt drain. I hate to get rid of it, but if I get it repaired and breaks then Ill still need a new dishwasher. Shortly, after purchasing the dishwasher I bought the same one for my dad, because initially it worked well. Its really disappointing because I grew up with a KitchenAid dishwasher that worked for 23 years. In my experience todays KitchenAid products arent any better than any other major brands.

We purchased a Bosch dishwasher from Lowes in October of 2016. The configuration was somewhat clunky but we dealt with it. We followed all manufacturer recommendations for use and had no problems until April 2019. After loading it and running it the cycle ended before it should have, when I opened the dishwasher it was full of dirty water and the dishes were not clean. I checked the book and online. Followed the directions to empty the water and check the filters. There was nothing blocking the filter. I tried to run it again, stopped after 10 minutes again full of water. Again followed the steps. Called Lowes. Was told that since it was more than a year old I needed to contact Bosch. I contacted Bosch who claimed the problem appeared to be in the control module. They offered a few (3) Bosch Authorized Service Centers, I called the one that was only 30 miles away (closest), after 30 minutes on the phone with model number and serial number they told me the part I needed was no longer available and if I wanted a service call it was $100 up front and they could not get here for two weeks. My husband found the correct part online, ordered it from Bosch ($110 plus shipping), he installed it and the problem was still there. You turn on the dishwasher and it runs for 30 seconds, then claims it is sanitized. We then called a different repair company and they could not figure out what was wrong. We went back to Lowes hoping for at least the offer of a discount from a new dishwasher. No support, they said we should call a local appliance repair company to fix it. I told them I would call a local appliance company to sell me a new dishwasher. Apparently 30 months is the length of time a dishwasher is supposed to last. Very very disappointed with Bosch and with Lowes.

We bought our Bosch Dishwasher from Appliances Connection 2/12/2012, it arrived on 2/22/2012. Our contractor hooked it up on 2/27/2012, he ran a rinse cycle all seemed fine. We ran our first real dishwasher load on the 27th and it kept showing an E-15 error, the dishwasher did not ever finish the first real job. We called Appliances Connection, they told us this is a Bosch problem and they must do the repair work per the warranty. We have had two repair dates with the authorized Bosch repair technician. On March 6th, the Bosch repair tech said that it must be the pump that needs to be replaced. He also confirmed our plumber had made all the correct water connections. On March 14th, another Bosch repair tech came and worked over 2 hours on the dishwasher and could not get it fixed. We contacted Bosch and discussed the problem with their associate. We requested a replacement of our new dishwasher immediately. They made it clear this was not going to happen, as it is new and they will continue to repair until corrected. This is not right! This dishwasher is a lemon. We paid $866 for this machine and almost a month later, we still have only a broken down, unusable dishwasher. (For us that is an incredible amount of money as we are both senior citizens.) Even the repair technicians were frustrated with the way they were communicated to by the Bosch technologist who was giving them instructions on how to fix the machine (they do not have a repair booklet even for their authorized repair techs). I am totally unhappy and disgusted with their service. They should not be allowed to let their customers be held hostage to a brand new, broken dishwasher. What is our recourse now? Please help me in any way to make this right. I see your box below, we cannot afford an attorney. Thank you.

Our built in microwave 800 series starting having trouble about a year after purchase. The display went dim. We were told it was no longer in warranty so just lived with it. Subsequently the door broke, the fuse blew and the circuit board overloaded and failed/burned out (all out of warranty). The service person came ($200) to tell us the door being crooked from when we bought it caused all these problems because the left and right side triggers were engaging out of sync when opening and closing. The cost to repair the unit would be more than the value of the microwave at original purchase. As for a prorate on a replacement model. Its taken them 6 weeks and counting just to process that request while I continue to get voicemails that a repair person is coming back to fix it (a solution Ive repeatedly rejected as paying over $1000 to repair a microwave is nonsense). Two months of calls to Bosch support several times a week and still waiting to get this resolved. When I called Bosch directly, they told me they couldnt talk to me and that I had to call Wayfair back (yet again). Complete runaround. Ultimately I was told that I should just cancel my order and order something else (like this was my fault!) without any offer to resolve the issue. And finally after 10 people, I still have no real sense if Bosch actually has any dishwashers in stock anywhere. I purchased a $1500.00 Bosch Stove HEIP054C-01 5 years ago. Within a year I had to have the panel replaced with the Stove knobs on it because the burner markings and high to low settings decals/markings had worn off. Now after 4 years these markings have worn off again. I feel that this is a fire hazard as it’s difficult to tell which burner I am turning on and often get the wrong one. I called Bosch and they said that they don’t have replacement decals like a lot of other appliance companies and that it would cost $500.00 to replace the whole panel again.I am truly disappointed that they don’t have a cheaper, easier fix. I will not be replacing the panel as it is too expensive. When I bought the stove I also bought a Bosch microwave, fridge and dishwasher. I can honestly say that I won’t be buying Bosch again for my next appliances. They are beautiful but really not great for Value for money and replacement parts which shouldn’t be needed after only 4 years are extremely expensive. Please stay away from this model and save yourself some headaches.

Was told by salesperson at Lowes in Longview that the Bosch Dishwasher #SHe53tf2ud02 FD9503003422 was the best to buy. Was purchased for $796.41 in May 4th. 2015 at Lowes in Longview. From the start we could not dry dishes in the machine. Asked for service man to look at it to see why it would not dry dishes. We were told by service rep. that it was not designed to dry dishes. Went back to sales department at Lowes and were told that it was too bad but we purchased a dishwasher that didnt dry dishes. No recourse what so ever. So, since owning it our dishes are now etched and the washer stinks up the kitchen and make it smell like a moldy swamp. We are removing the crappy dishwasher and replacing it with a 219.00 Frigidaire like the one we took out. Dont buy Bosch from Lowes or anywhere else.

Last year, I bought a Bosch dishwasher for near $1000. That was really a smart dishwasher and consented me for operation. I found that some micro and macro cracks have appeared in the top front plate of the set. As I am a specialist and a lecturer in the university, I found that these cracks are a result of humidity and low quality of the top plate of the set. I contacted the Bosch agency in Esfahan, Iran regarding warranty, but only faced very irresponsible statements. Contacting the Dubai agency also had no result. So if you have decided to buy this brand, please be careful.

After dealing with a strong musty smell from my Bosch dishwasher I tried cleaning it thoroughly. Eventually I noticed black organic matter dislodging from the black rubber seal (several tablespoons). After several emails (with photos) to Bosch they agreed to send a repair person. He recommended that Bosch repair the seal by replacing it. They refused. I have just returned from vacation where the home has the same dishwasher. Same smell. Same problem. Will never purchase another Bosch product. They are clearly aware of the problem.

My rented townhouse has a Bosch dishwasher and it cleans the poorest of any dishwasher I have ever had. After three months, it simply stopped working. The Bosch washer and dryer are okay--but just okay. The washer is the worst cleaning machine I have had for a front loader and it is also the first washer I have ever had that smells horribly unless one uses a cleaner in it weekly and unless uses almost no laundry detergent and unless one washes with at least warm water usually. Horrible really. The dryer doesnt have enough options and I have to dry delicate things on regular or they dry incredibly slowly, which results in too much wear. In my opinion, Bosch is very overrated.

I purchase a Bosch gas range in Dec 2019. We started smelling gas last week and had to call 911 and PSE&G. The issue was tracked to the oven and Bosch said they will send a technician. They said the earliest appt they had was 4 days out. I called them again as the smell was progressively getting worse. I escalated again and they agreed to send local Bosch certified technician. The technician arrived promptly and found that the safety valve was defective and he had to order the parts from Bosch. Bosch said 5-7 business days (and this a gas leak issue) and I was again on the phone trying to covey the urgency. I was stuck between the installer and Bosch and I am the Consumer. Bosch finally agreed to overnight the part to my address and the installer was scheduled to fix it today. I called Bosch today for a tracking number and they said they dont have one!! I also found out that they have shipped the part to the technician! Still no part and plenty of gas smell. Bosch customer is very inefficient and they really dont care about the safety of their customers. I would never buy a Bosch appliance again. It doesnt matter how good their products are. Simple irresponsible customer service.

Visiting my son who has a Bosch oven. Its all digital. Not sure the model. But its a 2018 one. I tried for 15 minutes to push the off button which may not be the actual off button because it says clean on it as well. But, there are no other buttons that say off. I tried changing settings. I couldnt unplug it because the wire was not reachable. I looked up the manual online, still nothing helped. Finally, I shut off the fuses to the kitchen. Now its off. Lol. Personally, Id only buy nondigital appliances. This oven is Dangerous! Dont waste your money. My $40 toaster oven is better!

Not a bad dishwasher when working, but as others here have noted, eventually the heat pump and control board on many of the Bosch needs replacing. This was quoted as $550 parts and labor using the Bosch recommended service company. This is quite insane, and a new dishwasher was purchased rather than run the risk of incurring this cost again at some point in the future.

We bought a Bosch premium dishwasher in 1998, and it gets very light use. In 2004, the dishwasher wouldnt work properly. We were required to replace the computer control module, at a cost of $320.73 (not covered by warranty). This past summer, the dishwasher again malfunctioned. Again, it was the computer control module, which was replaced at a cost of $459.00. I spoke to a consumer representative at Bosch, who said that the time involved was beyond the expected life of computer parts. In other words, a premium Bosch product should be expected to have its main component die twice over a seventeen year period of very light use, with repair costs roughly equal to the units initial purchase price. Some premium product! Some company!

It gets the dishes clean. Thats all it does... cleans dishes. Im very happy with the results. Third (top) rack for utensils or silverware -- no more bending to load the silver, its waist height and sooo easy to load then transfer to drawers when cleaned. Besides the absolute quiet of the machine the silverware rack is my favorite feature! Its 24 wide -- standard full size under counter DW. Clean lines, Stainless steel finish, Control panel is hidden. There are a couple of options for handle/no handle. I paid slightly more than most major brands -- and it was money well spent. This dishwasher is so much better, quieter, more convenient than my previous two.

Really disappointed, would not recommend purchasing anything from this corporation. Regardless of existing warranty, they charge a ridiculous price for repairment. I was told the repairment fee would cost $129 but when the technician came he wanted to make sure I was told the right pricing and mentioned that it will be $129 + $30 for every quarter of an hour. My dishwasher was still under warranty, yet no one cared. I strongly believe that as consumers, we have the right to be informed. Unfortunately, Bosch Corporation is taking advantage of consumers.I would also like to mention that I spoke with a supervisor, named Rye, who did not possess any of his duties as a supervisor. As a fiduciary agent of the corporation, the supervisor did not seem to care about me being misinformed and kept on blaming me for not understanding the situation. I am extremely disappointed and I really do not wish any customer to experience what I just went through.

Bought a Bosch refrigerator from Floorcraft Appliance in San Francisco Ca in December 2016. I installed it in my new kitchen in March 2017. Within a few weeks noticed that water was pooling under the bottom cheese drawer and freezing the drawer in place. I had several service calls to flush the line. The last technician noted that the defrost drain line was freezing up and also noticed that the freezer drawer rails were installed incorrectly during manufacture, preventing complete closure of the drawer and recommended replacing the entire unit. Three months later and still waiting for that replacement fridge and the freezer drawer wont close because of a massive ice formation on one side. Now leaking water onto the floor and frozen food thawing.

My Bosch Nexxt 500 washer is five years old. The first time when the warranty just expired, the first repair came up at $160. Now, the machine is broken again. The repair guy said the control panel is busted and needs to be replaced. Total is another $530 in addition to the $98 I paid today for the guy to show up. We got a Bosch Refrigerator vía our Builder, is the brand they carry. Is a Bosch French Door Bottom Mount! Every one we use the water dispenser the water drips constantly. We are trying to figure out what to put there. Every time that we use the ice dispenser the ice flies all over our wood floor. We have to pick up the ice constantly from the floor. The Bosch technician came to our home yesterday and said nothing could be done. That it was normal, I told him is NOT. We own an LGE and Whirlpool for over 10 years and never had that problem. That said he said, Buy bigger glasses. Really?

We purchased this Bosch model brand new about 2.5 years ago. We noticed intermittent cooling problems even during the first summer of use when it was hot outside but they were intermittent and therefore impossible to diagnose. At the end of this June the freezer compartment went up to 40 degs (it was 12 hours before we noticed it because the system did not alarm as it was supposedly designed to do). A repairman diagnosed the problem as a slow low side leak requiring $1200 to repair (not including the diagnosis which was another $250). Considering its short life span, it seems to be highly likely that this was a defective refrigerator at purchase time. Technically it is 6 months out of mechanical warranty by calendar days if you compute time from purchase to complete failure. However, anyone taking an honest look at this situation would conclude that the problem causing this failure started during the warranty period and Bosch should take responsibility for repairing it. As this problem seems to be posted fairly frequently I think it should be the subject of a legal action against Bosch. At the very least I advise anyone reading it to do a frequency search for this complaint and re-think the BOSCH purchase in lieu of a more reliable product.

I purchased a Bosch front loader washer about a year-and-a-half ago. Since then I have had a service technician at my house no less than 7X and I have also replaced a part on my own. The part I replaced which was shipped from the Bosch company was deemed faulty by the technician that came to re-replace the part. I have had several parts fail on this machine. I am extremely displeased with the companys lack of concern, accountability and action in this matter. Even as I write this review I am listening to the lock on my washer click in and out. Hopefully it will land on unlock and I can get my clothing from it.

All of the cooling tubes were twisted inside the refrigerator. The repairman came three times and all three times he said Bosch should replace it. I would give a negative start if it was possible. My Bosch microwave began turning on by itself. I purchased it with a paid warranty. I called Bosch in early February and they set up a time for someone to fix it in early March. The Bosch repairmen came and said he fixed it, however, the issue reappeared moments after he left. I called back. They set up another appointment and the repairmen did not show up when he was supposed to (of course they never gave me any notice). I called back and set up another appointment. Of course, the repairmen never showed up. I called Bosch and complained to a manager (who was the rudest manager I ever spoke with). He set up another appointment. This time the repairmen actually showed up with the parts but then informed me that the parts they ordered wont fix the issue. So they had to order different parts. So I set up another appointment for today. Surprise surprise, the Bosch repairmen never showed up (again with no notice). In summary, during the past 5 months, I have set up 5 appointments and have had 3 no shows (without any notice). I have complained to Bosch US, Bosch UK, and Lowes. I filed a formal written complaint to Lowes. I have spent over 15 hours calling Bosch. I have complained to 4 managers to no avail. 2 managers were supposed to call me back but they didnt. I am at a loss for what to do. Now all I want is my warranty money back or a new microwave. Can anyone help me????

Worst customer service! I had an appointment yesterday for my washer and the technician was supposed to call me the night before or morning of the appointment to give me a two hour window. My appointment was in the window of 8-12. I have taken a half day off to be there. No one called. I then called customer service at Bosch and was on hold for 25 minutes just to get disconnected. I called again and was on hold for another 25 minutes. The representative said the technician had an emergency. She put me on with her supervisor who said she was sorry and scheduled me for the next day for a window of 8-5. She said Bosch should have notified me and stated she understood my frustration and admitted over and over that this was their fault. She then states the technician would call me with a two hour window that night or the next morning. She promised I would get a call this time.Next morning arrives, yes I had to take the day off, and technician did not call the night before or morning of. I called customer service and was on hold for 30 minutes. She calls the technician, on hold for another 15 minutes, to give me the two hour window from 12-2 pm. I waiting and waiting... I then get a call close to 1:30 that he showed up and left because my building wanted to see his ID and he refused to give it to them. Ok, I get that, but why did he leave without calling me directly. Why have a call center call me?I told the call center I can let him up if he had called me directly. She said no he is not coming and wont come back. She gives me another company she has looked into that can come and fix my washing machine. I called them and they say they do not service Chicago and they are 2 1/2 hours away and they get calls from Bosch all the time and they tell them over and over that they do not service Chicago. I go down to my building to ask why they didnt call me and both the front desk and security said no one from Bosch has been there. The desk always calls if there is an issue. They cannot lie!I call customer service again on hold for 25 minutes and got disconnected. Called again and on hold for 25 minutes and finally someone gets on the phone. She says she is calling the technician right then. Im on hold for 15 minutes and then I get disconnected. I call again and on hold for 25 minutes and the rep says he has to put me on hold... on hold for another 20 minutes for him to say the technician didnt want to show his ID, so left. All this has been explained and in the notes... I said I want to speak with a supervisor, because the day prior the supervisor was very apologetic. Supervisor Ray gets on the phone. He says there is nothing he can do. Only reschedule me for November 10th-- two weeks from today or give me a third party number, which didnt work before. He was very rude and would not help in any way. He did care about all I went through and how I already took 1 1/2 days off from work.Again, the technician lied about coming, but Ray did not care. Why didnt he have someone else service my machine or yet, make him come back? He refused to do anything about. He never apologized until I said you are not even sorry. He tone of voice was awful. I asked to speak with his manager and he said there was no one above him. Hard to believe... I cannot believe how unprofessional he was. It was truly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ray the supervisor and the technician should not be employed by Bosch.
