I hate wet dishes. You can not tell if they are clean because the wet drops could mean oil hasnt come off dishes. I dont want to dry dishes when I get home From work! Cant tell if glasses are drop free. No drying element was the first thing you should have never done. I hate it and its junk and waste of my time and money!!!

Purchased Bosch dishwasher model # SHE3AR5UC/21 on June 22,2015. It was installed on June 26,2015. Has not worked correctly since it was installed. Thought maybe because it was new we were doing something incorrectly, so followed instructions to the tee. Still the button to switch the wash modes would not move from one to another. Would run for 3 hours or more, dishes would be soaking wet, water would remain in bottom of dishwasher causing a stale stagnant water smell. Called 800 # woman on phone, had us try to do a couple things that did not work and informed us that we needed to call repairman which we did and we have to wait until July 14th for a person to come fix it. Today is July 5th. Pay this much money for an appliance, would expect much better service. I am telling everyone not to buy one!!!

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher in 2012. 2 years later, 2014, the racks had issues with the protective plastic coating peeling off the prongs that hold the dishes in place. I was able to replace both the top and bottom racks at no charge by Bosch. In 2018 the racks again had the same issue with the coating peeling off the prongs, on both the top and bottom racks. Today I was told after working with customer no service for 2 months that the racks are not covered and I would need to pay for new ones. NOT happy with the service as well as the dishwasher. To me this is a defect, not normal wear and tear. I have owned Bosch dishwashers in the past and have never had issues with exposed metal on the racks.

$600 dollars to repair a 3 year old BOSCH washing machine not covered under warranty. The part that regulates the motor went and the part is $399. Customer service said they needed my purchase receipt and diagnosis and they would get back to me. After a number of emails and phone calls BOSCH will not cover a penny. BOSCH does not stand behind their product. I just bought a LG washer, never buying a Bosch product again.

Washes dishes but often leaves residue. Doesnt dry the plastics. Honestly, I use the main wash; pots and pans is too hot most of the time, and the quick wash doesnt really clean them all. I dont like the arrangement of the racks. Bowls dont fit well on either level, I could help Bosch find a much better way so loading is easier. Its comparable to others in the same price range. Ours decided to fall apart after 6 years. The actual computer panel just fell off. We can use it without the panel, but it is really broken. Wont buy another Bosch.

I loved my Bosch dishwasher (Silence Plus 48 dBA Dishwasher) when I first got it. It was so quiet and did a great job. Two years in and just out of warranty, it needed a $300.00 repair because water was leaking out the bottom. Now, two years after that, it wont stop draining, even with the door open. A repairman confirmed what I thought, water was leaking into the subtray so the float wouldnt drop to allow the machine to function. He found a break in the water valve and told me the problem is a common one. I wont be buying any Bosch appliance again.

We purchased a new Bosch built-in dishwasher in December to replace our 13 year old GE profile dishwasher. The GE worked great but the gaskets needed replacing $120. Each. So I decided to buy a new Bosch, what a mistake. I called Home Depot and they said they would have taken it back however I would have to pay my plumber to take it out, return it to store and pay him to re-install it. Well, that didnt happen... When I then called Bosch and complained about new Bosch dishwasher that (Didnt clean dishes or silverware) and (smelled awful) the young lady said my plumber must not have installed a trap (wrong). And never addressed the dirty dishes in and dirty dishes out!!!! My wife and I hate this machine and if this company doesnt rectify it for us no one in our family will ever use this product again (Sales come from consumers, referrals come from consumers, positive vs. Negative feedback also from consumers. 46 years never a problem w/ G.E...

I bought my dishwasher in May of 2011, and it worked fine until October 2012 when it decided to spring a leak. Due to my work schedule, it took a couple of weeks to schedule and receive the new parts for the dishwasher. The part that did arrive was broken but the technician was able to make it work. Everything has gone worked since, well, until yesterday. Another leak and the dishwasher is now out of warranty. I looked at the original estimate for repair and realized that the cost of repair would nearly be half of a new dishwasher. I am convinced I bought a bad dishwasher and I am just having some bad luck. I think I will try a different brand. Just like a Chevy. I cant stand them and find them to have reliability issues. I am sure the same goes with dishwashers.

I have been a longtime owner of Bosch appliances in every home we own with no issues in the past 20 years. I down sized and moved into a new home. I decided to change out the refrigerator first. I love the new refrigerator with French doors and one big drawer below. Upon delivery my appliance was DOA. It tripped the dedicated breaker in the garage. We plugged it into other outlets in the kitchen to check to see if it was the outlet. They took it away, the rep was very arrogant saying that it was a problem with our electric in our new home. The distributor asked if we could have an electrician check out. The electrician said that we would need to something that he can not and would not do for us. We needed to put an old style non-ARC breaker in for that dedicated outlet. The retailer brought it back on Tuesday the following week after my husband installed a Non-ARC required by code breaker. It works. So we needed to break the electrical code to keep this appliance. The electrician said that their refrigerator and DWs have that issue. In the country they are made, they do not replicate the electrical supply with breakers like we have in the US for testing and this problem is known by the reps, distributors, and the company. I would love to see them do something about it. We have an electrical code for a reason. ARCs have been required since about 2013 or so. You would think they would have corrected this by now. All of my other homes were not new- last three so it was not an issue with the breakers. You choose.

Our Bosch washing machine is just 4 years old, with very light use and the main bearing has failed. The drum has come loose and caused friction so that it has melted, with smoke from the machine and had to be turned off to prevent a fire. Bosch have not accepted that this is a fault and have refused to inspect the damage. I do not expect this quality from the manufacturer, previous machines have lasted 6 to 8 years. We are faced with an expensive repair or a replacement machine.

We purchased a Bosch 800 Series HMB8050 Built-in Microwave on 6/2010. On 5/4/2011, their service contractor changed a blown fuse and again on 10/30/2013. We did not have to pay for these service calls or parts. It stopped working again 2 weeks later. On 12/09/2013, they come out and replaced the PC board, switch, and fan. That cost me $99.00 for the service call. Five days later, the glass plate would not stop turning and light would not turn off. Right now we have it unplugged. When we called their customer service department, they said that this is considered a new work order and that I would have to pay for all service charges and parts which could cost us up to $500.00. We paid $1,100 for the appliance and $250 to have our cabinet adjusted to fit the unit in the wall. In 2010, we also bought a Bosch wall oven and dishwasher and have had no problems with these appliances. This has been very frustrating, highly inconvenient, and very expensive. At this point, we are still trying to figure out what to do next. We either will have to pay to get it fixed or buy a new Bosch!

I bought this oven in Jul 2011. Over the past year the grill filament started to warp. It is now extremely warped and quite dangerous, soon likely to snap, and then the oven will be unusable. This has happened through normal and moderate use of the product. I have contacted Bosch (it took many many emails to get a reply) and they say they dont view it as a product fault or design defect, but as an isolated incident. They wont repair it for free, as I requested, but instead demand around 100 to repair it.I bought a Bosch oven specifically because I wanted a quality product - I paid for the brand name. I expected 10 years of use (my last cooker lasted 20 years) but I get a measly 3 -3.5 years and Bosch think this is reasonable. I dont think thats good quality by a long stretch, and I dont see how or why Bosch should be known for their reliability.

We bought a new home about a year ago and we were happy that it came with a Bosch dishwasher. We had no idea that the dishwasher was on recall and about 6 months after we moved in, the dishwasher caught fire while we were in the living room. The only compensation that Bosch would offer us is 40% off another dishwasher if we order it through their website. Believe me, if your dishwasher bursts into flames in your kitchen and you have to have the fire department remove it from your home, you wont want to put the exact same product back in your house! I am very frustrated with a company that I thought was a high end brand leaving me to pay to replace their defective product. Id pick a different company if I were you!

Really disappointed, would not recommend purchasing anything from this corporation. Regardless of existing warranty, they charge a ridiculous price for repairment. I was told the repairment fee would cost $129 but when the technician came he wanted to make sure I was told the right pricing and mentioned that it will be $129 + $30 for every quarter of an hour. My dishwasher was still under warranty, yet no one cared. I strongly believe that as consumers, we have the right to be informed. Unfortunately, Bosch Corporation is taking advantage of consumers.I would also like to mention that I spoke with a supervisor, named Rye, who did not possess any of his duties as a supervisor. As a fiduciary agent of the corporation, the supervisor did not seem to care about me being misinformed and kept on blaming me for not understanding the situation. I am extremely disappointed and I really do not wish any customer to experience what I just went through.

8 years ago we purchased a top of the line Bosch washer, dryer and super-quiet dishwasher. The washer and dryer have had regular service and small issues until year 4. Then in year 5, the plastic control panel on both washer and dryer began to crack. I have no idea why this happened other than design that did not incorporate enough strength to withstand operational stress. (We used the machines 2 or 3 times a week and did not mistreat them.) Initially this was a small issue and didnt matter. When the cracks needed to be held together to set the programs (duct tape!), I decided to contact Bosch. The service rep was polite, but the experience was unsatisfactory. The machines were out of warranty. Bosch offered a 20% discount on replacement panels, which ran into around $800, plus the installation, which they would not cover. I was shocked because I had equated German engineering with product quality. The dishwasher is OK, wonderfully quiet, but not esp. well designed for US use. I am disappointed in Bosch. The machines have pre-set cycles and are not set up for flexible use; they clean well, although the front loader washer needs to be cleaned once a month or the moldy smell is intolerable. I would guess that these products came to market a little early in the design process. I am writing this review to encourage any prospective Bosch buyers to look at (yes, Im saying this) machines made in the US. Whirlpool and Kenmore have well-reviewed machines with decent warranties (sometimes for added cost).

I purchased an Bosch 800 series dishwasher late 2018. This is my second Bosch dishwasher, I loved my first one. It was super quiet and cleaned beautifully. I cant say the same for this one. Last week it stopped working giving me an error message. I tried to troubleshoot myself. It makes a loud grinding noise, sounds like the drain pump. I called the 800 number, the call center tried troubleshoot to no avail. Scheduled service, the dishwasher is still under warranty.I requested the the latest appt in the day, to accommodate my work schedule and long story short the service department is very unaccommodating for customers that cant sit at home all day waiting to a tech. I was told they would send a list of other service vendors to who do Bosch warranty work in my community (Orlando, FL). After 2 requests for the list, still not received. If your home is noisy due to kids, pets, technology or whatever, this is one appliance that will not contribute to the cacophony. We just turned away our second delivery of a Lowes special order 300 series Bosch dishwasher due to damage. Really... is it too much to ask for an indented face on your $700.00 dishwasher these days? Yes, it is being shipped to Hawaii to the tune of a 6-8 week delivery time and many people have handled it in the transportation process, but I believe much has to do with how Bosch is packaging the item with only thick cardboard frame pieces on the 4 ends, styrofoam corners on the top and thick plastic wrap holding it all together. There is no protection to the face or sides. For an international company, you would think they would be more conscientious about how they protect their product before it gets to the end user. Will have to think seriously before I order a third one!

My wife and I bought a new home in January. It came with Bosch appliances. Within a few weeks the dishwasher started leaking a lot of water. I called Bosch and they sent a repairman out to check it. The repairman decided that it couldnt be fixed and would require a new dishwasher. He called Bosch and they said they needed proof of home purchase, which we gave them. Although my wife filled out all of the warranty information when we bought the house. The information that we sent to Bosch showed our names, address, closing date and the information on the house. We didnt include any information that had social security #s or financial information. Bosch continues to ask for the full 40 pages of my closing information and we refuse. Again, financial information, social security #s etc. are really none of their business. We have talked to them and asked them to tell us what else we can send them specifically and they cant tell us however, my dishwasher continues to leak on my floor and new cabinets and Bosch continues to say that they need 48 hrs. to run this by their bosses. The bottom line is that this is a 5-month old appliance that is bad and Bosch continues to play games to avoid honoring their own warranty. Why did we fill out the warranty cards in the first place if they cant use them. I will never recommend Bosch appliances to anyone. Not because we have a problem with their product. Anything can happen. But their desire to avoid repairing or replacing their defective product shows me that they have no desire to do the right thing.

For decades now I have used and preferred Bosch products. Recently I have had an ongoing bad experience with a Bosch dishwasher that I bought last June from Sears. Last January it abruptly stopped working. It was under warranty so I contacted Bosch as Sears does not handle warranty issues. I was told to contact a local service provider. To my regret I called Appliance Marshall repair in Cary Illinois. The idiot they sent made 2 trips and was not able to figure out how to make the warranty repairs. Instead he claimed that water leaking from the brand new custom made to accommodate my new dishwasher had somehow leaked water that damaged the dishwasher, and that it was not covered by warranty. I told him that there was never any such event, and there was no water leak anywhere. The only source of water in that location was the dishwasher. I have pictures that show the floor discolorations and that the leak came from the dishwasher itself. There is no discolouration or drip line on the floor aside from the perimeter of the unit. But since this guy used up my 2 service calls I have to pay for some 3rd party to come out and fix my dishwasher. This has been going on for over 2 months now and I still cannot use my VERY expensive Bosch dishwasher. I should add that during both visits this creep made to my home he made me very uncomfortable by asking irrelevant questions, suggesting friends for repairs to the new home I am remodeling, and really strange behaviour. I hope these guys are subject to a successful criminal background check prior to being sent into peoples homes. Anyway, prior to his deciding and informing Bosch that he could not accomplish the warranty repairs, I called and emailed Appliance Marshall repair that he never be sent to my home again since he made me so uncomfortable. Since an accurate and verifiable diagnosis of this unit was never made I feel that I have a Bosch product in my kitchen that is a fire and electrocution hazard. I just want to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Bosch.

I would never buy again nor recommend it to my worst enemy. Simply put, in German, with Bosch: Alles immer schiesse. Buy domestic. Its cheaper to replace a domestic unit than repair a Bosch.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BOSCH!! Poor customer service and bad products. I installed all new Bosch products for my remodeled kitchen 3 years ago. I noticed rust stains on my dishwasher about 2 years ago, and they became worse and worse to the point that friends who came over asked me why my dishwasher looked like that. Bosch customer service told me that they can only give me 50% off a new panel (and charge me additional for tax and freight), and I would have to pay $129 for the cost of their installer. I bought an oven, microwave, dishwasher and stove from them, and this is all they could do for me! They said to use a rust stain remover, and implied it was the kind of products I was using that caused the rust! I told them I never saw stainless steel rust, and this was the only appliance that was rusting. If you google other sites, many customers indicate that the materials in their stainless steel was not good. In addition, my cooktop had to be returned because the stainless steel near the burners were turning brown from the flames. Another product defect, and they had to replace my cooktop. Very disappointed in their customer service - the company does not support their products or their customers! BEWARE!

About four years ago, I purchased three Bosch appliances at Best Buy. Oven, microwave and stove top. The microwave does not work properly since the time it was purchased, uneven cooking, takes a long time to heat up or cook food. Bosch technician took a look and said, That is how it works. Today is the oven and microwave, are not working at all. Bosch repair service is costly, diagnose, parts and repairs. Their soonest appointment to repair them will be in two months. I called different appliance repair services, but they do not work with Bosch appliances. I would not recommend Bosch appliances.

When my Bosch dishwasher was 4 years old a safety recall was done at no charge. I had a similar problem again four more years later and called their customer help line to see what it would cost to have a service technician check it out. When I gave them my serial number and explained the problem I was having the representative said it may be the same problem as previous and as it was safety related there would be no charge. Their rate at the time was in excess of $100.00 per hour. I explained to the rep that I did not want to pay that much if there was a possibility it was not the same problem. She assured me that there would be no charge for the diagnosis. The repairman came and found that the electrical connection to the unit had shorted. He installed a new wire connector at no charge even though it was no fault of their product. It has been working fine since then and is now ten year old, but when it does finally die I will definitely buy another Bosch dishwasher. Their product and service has far exceeded my expectations.

I bought a Bosch refrigerator French Doors Model B26FT7 2 1/2 years ago. In less than three years, the refrigerator has failed three times. Each time the company had to dismantle the inside of the refrigerator in order to replace the entire ice making unit. Now I am waiting for a new ice making unit to arrive. Also the temperature inside the refrigerator is much higher than it shows on the control panel. On the panel it indicates that the temperature is 43 degrees, but an accurate thermometer I placed inside shows 34 degrees. I feel this refrigerator is simply junk. I would never buy one again.

After several emails (with photos) to Bosch they agreed to send a repair person. He recommended that Bosch repair the seal by replacing it. They refused. I have had a Bosch microwave oven for a year and a half. In that time, it has broken down twice! The first time, Bosch repaired under warranty with no problems. The second complaint, they set up a warranty service call a week out from my reporting it failed. Repair date came and went. They said they were overbooked, but would be happy to put us on the list in a week from now. I asked to be put next in line and they said, We cant inconvenience our customers like that. Our experience with Bosch appliances has been mixed but disappointing. First, the first cooktop delivered during a remodel would not function as soon as installed. This resulted in a multi-week delay in the remodel. Next, the microwave failed within a year of installation and then again within another year. We have paid more than $300 in repairs so far. Finally, with regard to business, we were promised a substantial rebate if we installed 3 or more appliances. We installed 4 but have not yet received the rebate. We have been pestering the dealer repeatedly for about 2 years now with no satisfaction. I will never again purchase a Bosch product.

After spending $1,700 on the initial unit, an extended warranty, multiple repairmen visits and two magnetrons, our 14-month-old Bosch microwave caught on fire and is now deemed irreparable. Extended warranty people say we have to collect from Bosch. Bosch says we have to collect from extended warranty. Getting the run around from them both. We had this microwave installed for just over one year when we remodeled our kitchen, including creating a custom built-in location for this microwave. We now have a giant hole in our kitchen island and have been fighting with Bosch and the warranty people for months.Thankfully this diabolical machine didnt catch our entire house on fire. But nonetheless this product is a HUGE safety hazard and it should be pulled off the market (and poor suckers like those of us who purchased this machine should be compensated). We have filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General and asked to be included in a Class Action lawsuit that was recently filed. Protect your home and family -- do not buy a drawer microwave from Bosch!!

I called Customer Service at Bosch and they had repairman come to fix. After four attempts to get the dishwasher to work, they decided it was unrepairable, although CS argued with me that it was repairable! I sent in all paperwork and heard nothing. I found out that they couldnt read it, their files werent big enough to receive it, etc. After multiple calls on my part, I found out that they will replace it in 10-14 business days. I was purchased washing machine Bosch 8 kg- fully automatic- front load (WAT24463IN) from Amazon in 14 April 19 and installed in 27 April 19. First, I start from installation, at the time of installation water inlet pipe connector to tap worth Rs. 350 charged by Bosch service eng. and water tap also changed. Machine installation delayed due to shortage of length of wire plug to attach electric board from machine, purchase 350 Rs extension box due to shortage of length in plug wire. During first usage outlet water washed away in whole room, due to shortage of water outlet pipe, again purchased 250 Rs additional pipe. After usage within 04 month on dated 17 Jul 19 the power control board of machine got worse (fuse) & machine stop working. Within 04-month machine got damaged & covered the same in warranty usage, means there is no guarantee of product after warranty period of 2 years. After asking to service eng. of Bosch he is telling you want to purchase stabilizer for same, again purchased stabilizer of Rs 4000 from Bosch service eng. The compatibility of product not good, after purchase again you want to pay extra more than 5000+ for other unnecessary things. After call to Amazon customer care for extended warranty they were telling within 90 days you want purchase extended warranty for product from booking date. It means they knows the product quality to aware for providing 90 days for extended warranty period, 2 years warranty for cover & after that usage of customer for profit. This is the asset for customer by investing 30 to 40 thousand, they played after 2 years by taking much more charges for part replacement & breakdowns, this is worst strategy of Bosch to deal with customers.

Overall the stove is a good unit. However, cleaning it completely is difficult because it does not allow you to remove the power knobs to perform a complete cleaning. In addition, the heat elements are not consistently on, regardless of what setting you place them on. They will stay on for a short period and then turn off for a few minutes until such time that it feels it should come back on to that setting. The unit is a little pricey, around $800 for a cooktop. There are no frills extras on the unit, very basic in fact. You need to be careful as to what you use to clean the top or surface; very easy to remove the black coating if done with a wrong cleaner.

I have done some research and it appears to be a very common problem that has been going on for years! I am extremely unhappy that such a well known company with such a good reputation would risk losing satisfied customers by ignoring this issue! Dont you understand that poor customer service can destroy that wonderful reputation? How can I, in good conscience, recommend a company that will not take responsibility for a chronic and common problem with their product? The answer is, I cant! Im very disappointed. When the appliance failed, Bosch customer service (Shawn ** specifically) informed me that Bosch will not honor the manufacturers one year warranty because I was not the original purchaser. I am not talking about an extended warranty that could have been purchased separately, I am talking about the standard one year manufacturers warranty. A car comes with a standard power train warranty that is transferable, for example. I thought Bosch was a premium brand before this experience, but I can assure you they are not at all interested in providing support.

Purchase Bosch Refrigerator B22CT80SNS. Did not work out of box. Repairman added coolant and worked for about 10 days. When refrigerator quit cooling repairman determined coolant leak inside of refrigerator and non-repairable and Bosch was to replace. When I called them in a week to see why I had not heard anything they said that they were no longer making that model and had no comparable model to give me so would in 4 to 6 weeks come out and pickup non-working new refrigerator and issue me a refund check. Of course by that time will have been without a working refrigerator for over 2 months. Also, I had a kitchen remodel done based on all new Bosch appliances, two of which had cosmetic damage in addition to non-working refrigerator upon delivery. So now even though Bosch cannot provide me with a refrigerator, I have other Bosch products that they will not take back so after a $50,000 plus kitchen renovation I will have mixed brands of appliances in my Kitchen with un-matching handles/hardware. I asked if Bosch would just take all of their appliance back and provide refund and I could start over with a brand that could provide a working refrigerator of course they refused. Last night as I was cooking dinner, I had fully heated the oven to 400 degrees and had food baking for about 10 minutes when the interior glass door cracked and fell all over my floor (and my dog). Luckily its tempered glass, but it was a pain to clean up and scared the hell out of my dog (and me). Just called Bosch customer support and they are sending a technician out to fix it. This was not a cheap oven and I bought it because the brand is supposed to be highly reliable. I can say their customer service so far has been good, so thats something. Apparently they will either replace the glass or the door, not sure which yet. As far as I can tell, this has only been an issue for other people with running the self-clean mode (I was simply cooking in it).

I currently use a Bosch SHE4AM dishwasher. The reason the Overall experience is lower than the other ratings is that I have several dishes that just dont fit well in this dishwasher. It cleans well, doesnt leave spots (I do use a rinse agent) and dries the dishes well. And it holds lots of dishes if they are thin. If your dishes are chunky, you will have difficulty loading them and wind up washing more often with fewer dishes in the racks. We purchased our 800 Series from Lowes. I wish I had returned it. The wheels on the lower rack were poorly designed (product manager should be fired). If there are any dishes in the lower rack, you cannot pull the rack out. Its frustrating to struggle with this everyday, and with the price we paid, I really expected a better dishwasher. I have called customer service three times. They have been no help - instead, they wanted to send out a service person. (Can you fix bad design?) The last agent said, Oh, we have a fix for that now - has anyone offered to send you the fat wheels. The wheels were not wider, and they were not a fix. The rack constantly gets rolls off track and gets stuck inside the dishwasher. So - if youre going to purchase any Bosch at all - you might want to try putting a few plates into the bottom rack and see if it pulls out. This one bad design feature overshadows the third rack for silverware and any other nifty features. If you cannot get the most important design right, the rest do not matter. Oh, and you must thoroughly prewash your dishes as this 800 Series cannot do the job on its own.

My experience with a Bosch dishwasher was having it hang up during a cycle and not shut off. This was the first month I used it. Turns out it was under recall for a control board failure that had caused fires. Unfortunately only a licenced Bosch repair company could do the warranty work. Closest and only (?) one in OR is 90 mins away. Control board costs half of what a good competitor brand machine costs. Since having it fixed, if the machine gets interrupted by power bump, door open, off button pressed, or anything, then it loses its place and is a nightmare to reset. Try googling how to reset one. Note the multiple ways given and question how or why there are so many. If I can just get it to drain this time, I have a Maytag waiting in the kitchen to take its place.

Have had the refrigerator two months and am happy with it. It's so quiet I almost don't notice when it's running even when I'm in the kitchen. The lighting is good on the interior, adequate in the freezer although the bottom drawer is a little dim. Love the layout of the upper space and flexibility with retractable shelves. Items are easy to see and accessible. The depth of door shelves are great with the exception of the two bottom shelves which are so narrow that they will only accommodate small items, (like hot sauce). As other reviewers have noted, the ice maker is painfully slow so plan ahead. I find the ice maker has a very high pitched hum that is annoying so I make ice then turn the ice maker off until needing ice again which works for us. Love the controls, very easy to use and read and the refrigerator responds quickly to a change in temperature. I'm really picky, did my research before buying, and am really happy with this refrigerator.

Leaves lots of water on the glasses and I have to dry whatever it washes. After all the research I did and $800.00 later, this is the worst dishwasher I have ever had. I should have saved $450 and bought a GE or Whirlpool. Wont buy another Bosch thats for sure.

Bought floor model from Lowes. As a Lowes employee I am well aware of Lowes deficiencies and should have expected that they would sell a returned item without the parts needed for installation. Boschs do not direct wire; they need a custom connector for the electrical connection. But I called Bosch and told them the parts were missing. Their rep took all my information and promised to send them. Then they emailed back to me (which I failed to notice) and stated their supervisor (super ** or super **) stated since it was a floor model I would have to take back their promise and I would have to pay for the parts. Did not include part numbers, how much, etc. to make it even harder for me to order. This is causing a 10 day delay in installation, etc. Just know Bosch which wants $800-2000 for a dishwasher is willing to sell their reputation for some parts revenue. Thought these Germans were smarter than that but obviously the South was the wrong place to locate their plant. Obviously I am very pissed off about this.

If I could rate this business a 0, I would rate it a 0. I bought my Bosch dishwasher model number SHX4ATF5UC on 5/27/2015. On June 11/2015 I called for service and the service just finished from 6/17/2015 to 7/02/2015 - it almost took two weeks! Well thats not the point. The point is that even after the appointments, the dishwasher still wasnt working! I tried to call in today to swap my dishwasher for a new one, however they told me I couldnt swap it out because I needed to have had service with them three times on the particular item before I could swap it out with them. However, they did set me up with another service.

Our built in microwave 800 series starting having trouble about a year after purchase. The display went dim. We were told it was no longer in warranty so just lived with it. Subsequently the door broke, the fuse blew and the circuit board overloaded and failed/burned out (all out of warranty). The service person came ($200) to tell us the door being crooked from when we bought it caused all these problems because the left and right side triggers were engaging out of sync when opening and closing. The cost to repair the unit would be more than the value of the microwave at original purchase. As for a prorate on a replacement model. Its taken them 6 weeks and counting just to process that request while I continue to get voicemails that a repair person is coming back to fix it (a solution Ive repeatedly rejected as paying over $1000 to repair a microwave is nonsense). Two months of calls to Bosch support several times a week and still waiting to get this resolved. The prorate amount they have offered is a very small discount considering they sold us a lemon in the first place. Very disappointed with bosch at every step and would not recommend the product nor customer service.

Bosch, a German company known for their engineering, engineered a three-piece door handle for their refrigerator. The handle consist of an elongated handle that is attached to the door by two small plastic pieces; one at the top of the handle, and one at the bottom of the handle. The small plastic piece that attaches the bottom part of the handle to the door cracked dislodging the bottom support for the handle. I ordered the replacement part from the retailer and was told that the whole handle had to be bought. A $.50 piece of plastic cracks and Bosch expect the consumer to replace the whole handle; estimated replacement, $125-$150. Bosch Customer Service suggested that I pay for a service call to see why the $.50 piece of plastic cracked.

Bosch double oven HBL 57 - I have been happy with this oven until today. I went to use the self-cleaning feature for the first time and the glass in the door shattered into a million pieces approx. 1/2 hour into the cleaning cycle. I called Boschs 800-944-2904 number and explained what happened and that I felt they should replace the glass since it was obviously defective or would not have shattered. I was told no they could not do that but they could give me a service provider number in our area. When she determined that they didnt have a provider in our area, she said I should look in the phone book for someone to repair the oven. She did, after I asked her, provide me with a service provider in the nearest large city to us, but she left me with the impression that she could care less about providing good customer service. I will be sure and tell everyone I can how helpful Bosch is when you have a problem!

Ever since I bought these 3 appliances (Bosch washer, dryer and dishwasher) I am disappointed. The washer does not wash clothes properly, especially the whites. It also does not drain properly. It smells. The dryer is mediocre at best. The dishwasher just doesnt wash the dishes properly and has a bit of mold. I would never buy Bosch again! I was had from Caplans sales rep. They lied about all the features and superiority that Bosch has as a top manufacturer. It is a bargain brand.

Does a good job cleaning dishes. Its quiet and has plenty of adjustments to accommodate different size dishes, pots and pans. The most annoying thing is starting the washer cycle. You must press the start button for the EXACT length of time or it wont start. Hold it too long (more than about 1.5-2 seconds) it wont start, hold it for less than 1 second, it wont start. Over the past few years Ive gotten the timing correct so that it starts about half the time without trying a second or third or fourth time. (Gets very frustrating at times and you feel like punching the damn thing). Also, the door handle trim broke not long after getting this unit. Thats annoying but not worth fixing.

We bought our brand new home while the house under construction. Unfortunately, builder already bought the appliances. We checked online the review about bosch and all they said about them it CAME TRUE! HORRIBLE customer service, the microwave panel stopped working and when try to get a hold on bosch customer service was almost impossible. And when finally after and hours and a half they send me with a repair dealer which they were efficient. They ordered the part which arrive to their warehouse delivered from Bosch. A month after and when the technician came to install the part he found out was USED! And when the technician call to report that the REPRESENTATIVE FROM BOSCH was very RUDE which I experience that previously...Now my $5,000 dollars refrigerator it is starting to fail! DO NOT BUY BOSCH MADE IN CHINA NOT IN GERMANY!

Microwave has a lot of space. You can pretty much fit an entire chicken if you wanted to with plenty of leftover space. It has plenty of power. I did however found that the popcorn feature leaves a several more kettle corn un-pop compare to my old microwave. The fan pushes a lot of air when cooking which is a nice feature since my old microwave did not have enough power to push all air out.

I absolutely love my Bosch oven! We have had it for a few years now, (probably longer than I realize), but this oven is the perfect size and while it is modern in style it was easy to figure out and so does get used! I would recommend a Bosch to anyone looking for a great oven!

I had a Bosch refrigerator for many years and was very happy. I recently had to renew the fridge and opted to buy Bosch again, however I am very disappointed in the new design. Shelves are not the right distance apart (not allowing the stacking of such things as 2 yogurt pots) thus wasting lots of space, putting a huge draw in place of a door shelf, door shelves with a cover, the freezer is much smaller than the previous even though the external dimensions are the same. The new fridge makes lots of squeaking noises. Your designers are IDIOTS. I will be looking at another manufacturer when I change this fridge.

The stainless steel front of the range oven (which must weigh about 5 lbs) which covers the entire door came off and almost broke my toes. The range trim plastic piece which holds the glass onto the oven front broke. We had Sears come out to fix it and they said it was loose and screwed it back on. Then the glass front again fell off, luckily when I was not there. Then we bought $200 worth of new plastic trim pieces and screws from Bosch authorized dealer. Again, the front of the heavy stainless steel door came off. Now, Im just throwing this horror range oven which wants to cut my toes off. It is no longer repairable and I wished I never spent the $200 worth of parts to try to get it fixed. Whatever you do, do not buy the Bosch Gas freestanding range HGS445UC/02 if you don’t want your toes broken.

We bought a new townhome in with new Bosch appliances in Nov 2013. Someone said the appliances were high end. For the past 6 months the microwave has tripped the circuit breaker upon opening the door. So much for high end. We called an appliance company who charged $129 just for driving to our house. After nearly two hours, and speaking to a Bosch technician, the appliance tech said we need a new board for a total of $315, parts and labor! WHY DID IT BREAK DOWN AFTER ONLY TWO YEARS?!! I could have bought a cheaper Walmart microwave that would still be working right now. Bosch needs to make better appliances or extend their crappy one-year warranty! No wonder the warranty is only good for one year and doesnt cover circuit boards!

The best customer service. I did my whole kitchen in Bosch and I had several problems with my appliances and they right away and replace the parts at no charge even past the warranty period if the fault is not yours. I bought a stainless steel fridge from Best Buy and no one told me that I had to clean it with only soap and water. Anyway the surface got completely damaged and they agreed to come and change all the doors of the fridge for free. Now that is customer service. I will only buy Bosch from now on. Forget the Korean brands with zero customer service

We are currently in our 3rd year with our current Bosch Oven. The fist oven was damaged internally in shipment and had to be replaced. The second oven was installed and never worked. The third worked for 2 1/2 years after which the cooktop stopped functioning. The repair estimate was $ 800.00 to $ 1500.00. When we call Bosch it appears they are focused on the dishwasher recall ....

We had ordered three appliances from Bosch all of which were the black stainless 800 series (the gas range, refrigerator & dishwasher). Both the refrigerator and the range came had a problem. The refrigerator has such a heavy lean on our level floors that even the adjustable legs couldn’t extend down 2” to make it level. We had called Bosch and as requested had a third party arranged by Bosch to inspect, which concluded that it needed to be replaced. We then waited 2 months for customer service to produce a code for reordering, during this time we did not have a fridge. We spoke to numerous customer service reps. At which point had an urgent request of the manager(who was the one responsible to place the reorder code on the product) but the manager could not return this request until 2 months later. The customer service reps. Would tell you one thing then another completely opposite until I had recorded it so that the rep could listen to what was said. Once the new item arrived, upon delivery they noticed that the doors were all finished in different finishes. The bottom freezer door was a different finish then the upper doors and the handles were different from the upper and lower doors.(Quality inspection?) So naturally they needed to replace all the doors off of the unit. These two refrigerator somehow passed quality inspection?!? And it was not just that item, our range had arrived with a bronze coloured vent piece that completely didn’t match their black stainless steel and the rep. Had agreed that they don’t know why it was like that...When I told them of this and they asked for the item info on the inside of the unit (with the rep on the phone) I opened the oven door to find a large 8” piece of bent metal with insulation exposed in the interior of our “quality inspected” range! The third party had to write an inspection report on this too even though it was clear as day that this was a safety issue/ and that this item clearly was not inspected. This item as well took 2 months for replacement., it too fell on the shoulders of customer service manager who could not produce a reorder code until 2 months later. And we did not have our range or refrigerator at this time seeing as their customer service team reassured me on 4 separate times that it would be 5-7 days for processing.I would never wish upon anyone to have to go through what we did with Bosch. Months and months of phone calls, and no appliances for months, and how we have been treated. We thought we were buying quality products with a company that could offer customer service. This was not the case. Please do yourself a favour and buy from a company that you can trust. BOSCH is not that company. And No Bosch has not figured out why they have a bronze vent piece on their black stainless steel range and the replacement range arrived with the same bronze vent piece. But at least the insulation was not visible this time. Buy quality inspected appliance from anyone but Bosch!

On December 2, 2019 dishwasher quit working. Called Bosch and was referred to factory certified repair company. Repairman came and looked at dishwasher on January 2, 2020. He took a look at the washer and said it had burned out the junction box just like all the recall units he had replaced. He went back to shop and the people contacted bosch about the washer. They wanted documentation like proof of purchase. We provided and heard nothing from bosch.I contacted bosch the next week and they said they had no paperwork and contacted the shop. While I was on hold, the shop sent paperwork again right away and then I was told I had to provide pictures. Contacted bosch again the next week and they said they had no paperwork even after providing case number. After 45 minutes on phone they said they might replace parts but tough luck, we paid $1000 for a washer that doesnt work and was purchased in May of 2017. Terrible Customer Service if you can call it that. I have another way of putting it but it is not suitable to be printed would not buy bosch again and will actively discourage anybody from buying.

Recently I was given a yr-old Bosch dishwasher. The person who gave it to me was re-doing her kitchen and it was white. She was now going SS but she said it never cleaned properly. Knowing she was not one to scrape her dishes, I thought that might be the issue. Over the course of 15 yrs, I have had various Bosch dishwashers and they were notorious for leaving food behind. I figured by this time the problem would be fixed...wrong. The only way I can get clean dishes is to thoroughly wash everything before I put them in the machine and even then it doesnt guarantee anything. Its almost like it makes its own grime. I clean all of the multiple filters between each use. I make sure the spray arms are clean and moving. My hot water is at 140, I use Cascade Complete. It also takes forever to run a cycle 2 hours to get dirty dishes. My $199 Maytag with 1 wash are cleaned better than any of the Bosch Ive had. It is however very quiet.

The tumble dryer was not working properly, not drying the container button
The tumble dryer was not working properly, not drying the container button kept flashing even though the container was not even a quarter full, and then the handle broke. We call Bosch with the same problem (under warranty) months ago and the engineer said that he could find a fault - he admitted that the handle (top) was broken but did nothing about both problems. Today, we had an engineer coming and all he wanted first was his call charge. He refused to look at it and did not have a spare handle to change despite our phone call to make sure we wont waste time on this. We refused to pay because when weve spoken to Bosch we said that this was an existing problem, and of course now our warranty had run out. Weve spoken to a Supervisor and said they could not do anything and could not find our previous call and existing problem. Very angry with them. All our appliances are from Bosch. WE WILL NOT BE BUYING FROM BOSCH ANYMORE AND WILL PASS ON THE BAD EXPERIENCE WE HAD TO EVERYBODY. Do not buy from Bosch, they will try to rip you off like us once a problem arises. They wait until the warranty runs out to make you pay whatever they can.
