We purchased a Bosch 800 Series HMB8050 Built-in Microwave on 6/2010. On 5/4/2011, their service contractor changed a blown fuse and again on 10/30/2013. We did not have to pay for these service calls or parts. It stopped working again 2 weeks later. On 12/09/2013, they come out and replaced the PC board, switch, and fan. That cost me $99.00 for the service call. Five days later, the glass plate would not stop turning and light would not turn off. Right now we have it unplugged. When we called their customer service department, they said that this is considered a new work order and that I would have to pay for all service charges and parts which could cost us up to $500.00. We paid $1,100 for the appliance and $250 to have our cabinet adjusted to fit the unit in the wall. In 2010, we also bought a Bosch wall oven and dishwasher and have had no problems with these appliances. This has been very frustrating, highly inconvenient, and very expensive. At this point, we are still trying to figure out what to do next. We either will have to pay to get it fixed or buy a new Bosch!

Bought faulty Advantixx washer dryer (wouldnt dry). Had to threaten with consumer affairs before they would replace it. They replaced it with a factory second where the filter cover continually falls off and the rubber on the drum was filthy and warped. Called and reported it - Bosch were unconcerned. Sent photos after much argument and nasty attitude from their customer service - now waiting again. Whole machine appears very cheap plastic and the quality of the rubber drum is appalling as confirmed by the first technician who visited. The rubber ripped after a few weeks. Worst purchase ever - cost $1600 on special!!!

Just called Bosch and once again I got a remarkably rude and unhelpful customer rep. She could not be bothered telling me about two specific dryers and told me to look online. Her attitude was clearly one of not caring in the least about helping the consumer or making a sale. I would have bought a new dryer from Bosch if not for her. Not now!

The grates on the range have a plastic coating on them and they scorch. I call this a defect and they should replace them, but they want to sell me new grates that they cannot tell me what kind of material they are made of. First of all they should replace the grates for free, why put some material that does not hold up to fire on the grates, and second why would they not be able to furnish me with information on the new grates as to the material they are made of and if they have the same plastic coating on the grates. Why would I want to buy the same junk so it can be an ongoing sale?

The dryer has been problem free. I have had this dryer for almost three years and have not had any problems. We live in a condo so we purchased this model because of the smaller size. It is fine for two people, but I would not recommend it for a family. The only downside is that it cannot handle large bulky items such as king size blankets.

The one star is for the quiet dishwasher purchased. It is quiet probably because it does not work. We purchased a Bosch dishwasher because it was supposed to be top of the line in dishwashers. Unfortunately, I was swayed to the quietness and not the cleanliness. The racks are designed for the number of dishes it can wash. Unfortunately, I need to wash frying pans, bowl, utensils, cups, glasses, etc. Considering that it holds so many dishes, nowhere is there a China or crystal setting. Worse yet, my load is not complete clean, even on the heavy cycle, even though I am using the recommended Finish products. There is no room for bowls, large dishes. Plastic items have a film remaining behind and pots or fry pans still have food in them and a greasy feel to them. Unless you plan to buy the most expensive Bosch model you would be better off with a less expensive model with generic racks that fit the items you cook with as well as just dishes.

Nice dishwasher but horrible customer service from Bosch. Kept getting E24 message, after only having dishwasher a few months. Called Bosch, no service available for about three weeks from BOSCH. Was told there were authorized subcontractors and was given several numbers. Most of them did not even service my area. Called Bosch and informed them. Even spoke to a supervisor who gave me additional numbers that were not valid. Once again the dishwasher is under warranty but Bosch customer service was very poor. In the end I was able to fix the problem myself.

We purchased a new Bosch built-in dishwasher in December to replace our 13 year old GE profile dishwasher. The GE worked great but the gaskets needed replacing $120. Each. So I decided to buy a new Bosch, what a mistake. I called Home Depot and they said they would have taken it back however I would have to pay my plumber to take it out, return it to store and pay him to re-install it. Well, that didnt happen... When I then called Bosch and complained about new Bosch dishwasher that (Didnt clean dishes or silverware) and (smelled awful) the young lady said my plumber must not have installed a trap (wrong). And never addressed the dirty dishes in and dirty dishes out!!!! My wife and I hate this machine and if this company doesnt rectify it for us no one in our family will ever use this product again (Sales come from consumers, referrals come from consumers, positive vs. Negative feedback also from consumers. 46 years never a problem w/ G.E...

We bought a new home about a year ago and we were happy that it came with a Bosch dishwasher. We had no idea that the dishwasher was on recall and about 6 months after we moved in, the dishwasher caught fire while we were in the living room. The only compensation that Bosch would offer us is 40% off another dishwasher if we order it through their website. Believe me, if your dishwasher bursts into flames in your kitchen and you have to have the fire department remove it from your home, you wont want to put the exact same product back in your house! I am very frustrated with a company that I thought was a high end brand leaving me to pay to replace their defective product. Id pick a different company if I were you!

I purchased this washer to replace a failing stacked washer/dryer combo. I bought the Bosch set because the dryer is ventless and this just fits my townhouse better. First off, this washer is designed to plug into the back of the matching dryer (Only one 240V outlet is needed!) So far so good with this washer's results. It is very quiet and efficient. The matching dryer, while ventless still dries VERY well. I am surprised as Bosch's claim of only 8% slower than a vented dryer seems to be very accurate. This washer is designed to fit 10-14lbs of laundry per load and I can attest this is accurate and is efficient while washing and drying. The dryer will take some getting used to and messing around with the proper settings but once you figure it out it's a cinch! This is an absolutely GREAT product.

Bosch dishwasher shp65t55uc - One of the worst purchases we have ever made. Purchased in july 2014. Have already replaced front ss panel, not ONCE but twice. Have replaced cheap plastic handle once. Stainless steel is of poor quality. Should have stuck with sears elite brand, same as our refrig and stove. When you talk with Bosch rep, they act like their products are on the same level as the Hope diamond. Paid a ridiculous amount of money. Not worth it.

I ordered a display circuit board for my Bosch oven. The display magically fixed itself by the time the part arrived, so I called Bosch to a coordinate return. My problem is with Boschs mandatory 25% restocking fee, and with the information I had to provide in order to secure my timely refund. The circuit board, the box in which it arrived in I never opened, cost $106. I paid $26.50 to restock a circuit board thats probably 1/8 thick, and 6 x 3 in size. Theres no effort to put this unused part back on the shelf. But it is what it is, and Bosch makes that clear in their return policy. While exorbitant, it wasnt a surprise. I just thought thered be more flexibility. After all, Im not returning a refrigerator. So as I moved through the return process, I had to provide a model number for the oven. If I didnt, the refunds would be delayed. I asked the representative why that mattered, and that it should have no bearing on my return. They have the part number, so that should be enough. I also commented that theyre charging me 25% to restock, so maybe they should figure that out. Representative was very polite, but said several times that her hands were tied. In the end, I provided much more information than is required to return the part, especially when considering theyre charging $25 to restock a circuit board whose connection to my return will be irrelevant when they sell it again. If Bosch is this complex and penalizing for their returns, I hate to think what happens when I have an actual problem with their products.

I really like the new Bosch dishwasher we purchased. The problem is that the bottom rack flies off the grooves provided for it in the interior door frame when open for loading or unloading. No matter how we try, the rack seems to disengage from the grooves provided. There are no tracking mechanisms, just gravity holding the rack in place, so were wondering what were doing wrong. Has anyone else had this issue and if so... how youve dealt with it. Thanks.

We just turned away our second delivery of a Lowes special order 300 series Bosch dishwasher due to damage. Really... is it too much to ask for an indented face on your $700.00 dishwasher these days? Yes, it is being shipped to Hawaii to the tune of a 6-8 week delivery time and many people have handled it in the transportation process, but I believe much has to do with how Bosch is packaging the item with only thick cardboard frame pieces on the 4 ends, styrofoam corners on the top and thick plastic wrap holding it all together. There is no protection to the face or sides. For an international company, you would think they would be more conscientious about how they protect their product before it gets to the end user. Will have to think seriously before I order a third one!

We moved into a home that has the Bosch Nexxt 500 series washer/dryer. Within a month, our clothes smelled like mildew. They are twisted and balled up after the spin cycle. No amount of bleach, vinegar, or scrubbing will remove the mold from the rubber seal. And I leave the door open between washes. The lint trap is impossible to clean, so the sensor doesnt work properly. I have to hang the clothes to dry after the drying cycle. I am ready to junk them and go back to a cheap top load washer. I would never recommend these products.

I used to be a happy Bosch customer. I had a Bosch dishwasher for 10 years and liked it so much that I even recommended Bosch to my friends. Last year I bought a 500 DLX model. From the beginning I could see that the new machine did not clean my dishes as well as the old one. I have done everything the manual suggests and I am still dissatisfied with the performance. When I called Customer Service today the woman was not at all helpful, especially when she saw that I am two months past my 1-year warranty. I strongly object to the warranty starting when I purchased it. It was installed on Jan. 22, 2015, so it has been in use less than a year. It looks like I am stuck with an inferior appliance and I will not recommend this brand to anyone ever again.

I purchase a Bosch gas range in Dec 2019. We started smelling gas last week and had to call 911 and PSE&G. The issue was tracked to the oven and Bosch said they will send a technician. They said the earliest appt they had was 4 days out. I called them again as the smell was progressively getting worse. I escalated again and they agreed to send local Bosch certified technician. The technician arrived promptly and found that the safety valve was defective and he had to order the parts from Bosch. Bosch said 5-7 business days (and this a gas leak issue) and I was again on the phone trying to covey the urgency. I was stuck between the installer and Bosch and I am the Consumer. Bosch finally agreed to overnight the part to my address and the installer was scheduled to fix it today. I called Bosch today for a tracking number and they said they dont have one!! I also found out that they have shipped the part to the technician! Still no part and plenty of gas smell. Bosch customer is very inefficient and they really dont care about the safety of their customers. I would never buy a Bosch appliance again. It doesnt matter how good their products are. Simple irresponsible customer service.

Stupidly we believed the hype about Bosch products. Dishwasher was too small for regular size dishes, who knew, Bosch dishwashers were built for the smaller European dishes. Washing cycles were hours in length, no such thing as a quick wash! Had to be replaced after 5 years with a Kitchen Aid which works fine. Front loading washer (supposedly top of the line) needs to be wiped down after each use, and propped open to prevent mold. Cant run spin cycle only when necessary. Would sure like that feature since the washer doesnt always get all the water out of the load. Plastic window cracked and came off the frame almost to the day after the warranty expired. The scotch tape looks so attractive holding the plastic window in place. And the dryer WOW what a poorly engineered appliance. The door fell off! Thank goodness for YouTube where my husband found instructions to order the door part and to repair the door. And, I just love cleaning the entire length of the filter after 2 or 3 loads because the filter and I use that term loosely doesnt filter. Lint, etc. gets stuck at entrance to the filter and also on the other side of the filter and BTW the filter needs to be washed about once a month because the filter screen gets covered with something. When we had the repairman out to repair the heating element I mentioned the filter problem and he said he heard that complaint a lot. Fix it! And thank you very much Ill decide when the clothes are dry not the dryer which 9 times out of 10 cases, the clothes arent dry and Ill decide if I want to use the wrinkle free function not the dryer which again is trying to prevent wrinkles in damp clothes. Hello, Bosch, you get wrinkles in damp clothes! Never again will we buy a Bosch product, they are the worse.

Received a Bosch dishwasher which was installed by a Richards contractor. The machine worked well for 3 months then suddenly died. We had purchased a long term service contract with Richards and were directed to their service vendor (Danmark). It took approximately 2 weeks for a serviceman to come out. Of course, they had to order 2 parts. It took an additional 2 weeks for the serviceman to return. He installed the parts and the washer was still was inoperative. He instructed us to request a new machine which we did. We were contacted by Danmark and were told Bosch requested that another part (the main circuit board which was replaced already) be re-replaced before they agreed to replace the machine. We agreed and the serviceman returned 2 weeks later and replaced the board again. Guess what, the machine still didnt work. Now frustrated, I called the store where the machine was purchased and explained the situation to a store manager. He did, in all fairness, relay my problem to Richards service department because in one hours time, I received another call from Richards. Once again I had to retell my story to this person who assured me I would hear from her the following day. Four days later, theres still no return call from Richards service department. I returned a call to the store manager, retold my story and went out of my way to thank him for effects of relaying my problem to Richards service. I asked for Richards service phone at which time this manager got annoyed (clearly in his voice) and promptly gave me a wrong number. Thank you P.C. Richards, guess youve lost another customer. $1375 may not seem a lot to you, but its a lot of money to me. Im considering a small claims suit against Richards and Bosch and will explore that option.

I had called the factory service (Dale ** at **) and also talked to the service manager Ron ** to have my dryer repaired. The problem was first tried to fix on August 8th, 2011 where I had paid close to $300. But the problem of the clinging and banging noise did not go away. After 2 more visits, the service man had ordered new parts that seemed to be delivered always wrong. Today, after 3 months later, my nerves are blank listening to this banging, clinging dryer noise, which I have to hear 3 times per week. Nobody calls anymore to show any effort to fix this problem. How can it be that Bosch cannot fix their own machines? I think that I have been more than patient. And if you cannot repair what is wrong with my dryer, then I deserve a new machine. Or, deduct the already paid $273.25 and get me a new dryer.

WALL OVEN: I bought Bosch Benchmark appliances for my home. I am now on the 4th repair for the wall oven (exact same problem all 4 times) in a year and still Bosch hasnt figured out theres a problem with this oven. All 4 times when the oven stopped working I was without the use of my oven for 20-25 days waiting for repairmen, parts or be ordered, etc. 80 days in total so far in less than a year that I have not had the use of my oven, and counting. AND to make matters worse, the only time I use this oven is when I have guests, the rest of the time for myself and my husband to make small meals we use the smaller speed oven. So, 4 times in less than a year there has been multiple guests in my home for dinner parties, and the oven has stopped working. Add all those people up and youll see how many people have walked away with a bad opinion about Bosch appliances. Not to mention that at each dinner, because my oven stopped working, I had to resort to ordering in for my guests and all the fresh fish and chicken etc that I had bought to prepare for my guests had to be frozen because I knew Id be without my oven for another 20-25 days before I could bake it.SPEED OVEN: I also have the Bosch benchmark speed oven, that too has had one repair in less than 6 months of being installed, same problem as what I had on the wall oven. Thankfully the speed oven got repaired and seems to have been working fine ever since (knock on wood). COOKTOP: I also have a Bosch induction cooktop. No problems as of yet with that. Im keeping my fingers crossed but Im scared to death because my trust in Bosch is so very low.I have told everyone that comes in my home and raves about my gorgeous kitchen renovation DO NOT EVER BUY BOSCH. And most of them have seen it first hand now how bad the appliances are because theyve all been at my home at one time or another in the past year and seen the oven fail in front of their own eyes. So Ive got lots of witnesses and sadly Bosch has lots of people who know to never buy their appliances. 2 of the families who were at my house in the past year and saw the wall oven stop working, have now done their own kitchen renovations and both of them made a choice NOT to buy Bosch because they said they would not take the chance seeing all the problem I had with mine.I have kept a detailed journal of all my repairs, dates, time, conversations, videos, etc. Because I am fairly certain that I will end up suing the retailer and/or Bosch for breach of warranty/contract and for not disclosing material facts prior to my purchase. But because its still under extended warranty Im going to keep letting them repair it as many times as they want, and I will keep my journal and history so that shortly before the warranty wears out I will then sue and force them to give me a full refund... I cannot accept a replacement oven because Bosch does not have another wall oven that could be installed in my kitchen without me doing a kitchen reno again (which is not going to happen).

The first dishwasher had burnt up the wires inside washer as well as outside connections. It took a lot of calls for them to agree to replace the first unit. I had read on line that it had happened to others. After second dishwasher was installed on 1/9/09, my wife and I saw that our model number was a recall to possible electrical fires. For about two years, we received letters in the mail of this recall. Fast forward to late August up to early September, the second dishwasher is not working right. Bosch agreed to pay for a tech to diagnose and concluded that the heater assy shut as well as the main PCB, whatever that is. Repair is estimated at $450 to $500 on an almost four year old dishwasher. Bosch said that I am out of luck because warranty is over and that the second dishwasher was a goodwill case, even though the first dishwasher was a recall as a fire hazard. Oh and by the way, it is just my wife and I, so we dont use our dishwasher like a big family does.

We purchased four Bosch appliances in January 2011 and by November 2011, there was rust on them. Our fridge looked like someone sprayed the rust on it. It is that bad. We contacted Bosch and they sent a service person to look at it and confirmed the problem. He said that the appliances werent 100% Stainless steel because he tested it with a magnet and there was some magnetic attraction. Anyway, he then tried cleaning it per his instructions from Bosch and the rust remained. We contacted Bosch about what the service man said and then was told that the appliance were only warranted for 30 days for cosmetic defects and we should try cleaning it again. We tried cleaning again this time using a very fine steel wool. Some spots were removed but still left a residual stain but many, many spots the rust remained. We then contacted Bosch again. They asked us to send pictures and then they offered to give us 50% off replacement parts as their solution to the defective appliances we paid full price for. This is not the answer we expected from a company who sells what they call top of the line appliances. We were told that the problem of rust was because our condo is on the ocean in FL I cant believe that everyone living on coastal America has had rust problems on their appliances with in a year of purchase. Our Floridian neighbors dont seem to have this problem with other brands. Also we had purchased Bosch appliances for our CT home in 2007and have no rusting problems and we live a block from the sea. I read on rekitchen.com that Bosch warranties against rust on dishwashers. This obviously is not true. From what Ive read here, Bosch does not live up to their reputation!

If you arent an appliance repair person when you bought a bosch...you will be once you get rid of it. My Bosch dishwasher is 3 years old and has been serviced 5 times. I have had to repair it myself twice and paid hundreds of dollars in repairs by a technician. Its on its second drain pump and I am now ordering the third. I wouldnt recommend buying any bosch products. I am currently investigating purchasing another brand.

After buying a top of the line washer dryer for my new house from Bosch official distributor in the united arab emirates, they set up my delivery date after three weeks from my purchase (Which I saw as a bit odd, but I can live with that), I waited three weeks, an additional three days, then I got a call telling me that my washer dryer is out of stock!! After paying for it in cash, and an additional two year warranty, I called them, Bosch middle east, sent emails to bosch global and our local government consumer protection agency, and still No delivery!!!

We bought a BOSCH washing machine on 7th May 2018 from our nearest dealer in Anchal, Kollam (Dist), Kerala. They delivered the product on same day evening as informed us to company executive will come within 24 hours or maximum 48 hours for installation and demo. We were waiting from 56 hours or more and none of the company executives or service person contacted us. When we called customer care and dealer they are just saying executive will come soon. You need wait again and again. If they are not able to do this simple installation & demo for new customer in timely manner, how do they handle service complaints and technical issues!!! We feel that BOSCH company is not caring about their customer service and they just want to dispose their products and they dont have any concern about service after sale. As per our experience, We do not recommend anymore their products.

I live alone and wanted a small capacity washer and dryer, although I bought a set the washer has a larger capacity than the dryer, so there was a learning curve. But they are the perfect size for me. The cycles on the dryer will not dry my clothes, but there is a timed dry option, which works just fine. You just have to be careful with overloading. This is not an issue for me, but it may be for others. The washer is close to perfect.

We had a long power cut yesterday. My washing machine was working at the time of the power cut. When the power came back on again the machine showed a warning light that indicated there was a problem with the motor. I tried the Bosch website and found a section about self-help and put in the model number - it was not recognised so I contacted Bosch customer service. I explained the problem. They were supremely UNHELPFUL; said I needed an engineer and offered to book one with a £95 call out. I searched online how to reset my Bosch washing machine after a power cut. The instructions were simple and took about 20 seconds to complete. SHAME ON YOU YET AGAIN BOSCH. Previously I had tried to buy new baskets for my Bosch dishwasher but at £126 EACH I did not!!! They are OUTRAGEOUS.

Have spoken with plumbers Re this problem and they all say this is an inherent problem with these heaters. You can only open hot water tap. The moment you want to mix hot with cold the heater turns off. Absolutely junk waste of good money. Tore it off wall and purchased a reliable hot water heater conventional. Product has been worked on multiple times, told couldnt replace until worked on, now that the same code has come up again they say sorry cant do anything warranty up... (just one year) on a product that never worked to begin with. We bought extended warranty, still claims they take no responsibility and point blame to store bought from. Bosch delays all service calls for multiple weeks before coming and when the product broke 2 days after being fixed (supposedly), We had to wait again. They conveniently wont replace and then want no responsibility. This is the only review I have ever written and sadly I am unable to use my oven at all. This is very difficult as I have a family. 3,000 dollars is a lot of money to have a decorative storage unit. Please go with another company that will respect the consumer. I honestly dont know how this company is in business as we were dealing with the senior customer service representative, Courtney **, who completely disregarded the fact that this product was dysfunctional since day one. This company needs to reevaluate customer service and acknowledge that sometimes a product is faulty and you as a business need to stand behind your product.

We bought a high-end Bosch dishwasher from a big box store three years ago
We bought a high-end Bosch dishwasher from a big box store three years ago and have recommended it to everyone we know. We always loved how quiet it worked, how clean our dishes were, and the cool features Bosch has like the third rack for silverware. However, last week it just quit working out of the blue. Upon further inspection, the Bosch-supplied junction box had MELTED, along with the wiring. A quick Google search indicated that Bosch dishwashers develop mysterious and dangerous problems after three years... when they are out of warranty. As a matter of fact, check their recall record: my dishwasher SHOULD be part of the massive recall since the power box melted (the very problem they were seeking to remedy with the recall), but Bosch Customer Service says it is not. They (falsely) told me they would cover the problem anyway, but then the day the repairman came out, told me they would not only not cover it, they would not even ORDER the part I needed until I could provide proof of ownership. When I did, then they said they would not order the part until a written diagnosis was provided by the tech (who has other house calls to make?). I shudder to think how many more hoops I will have to jump through JUST TO GET THE PART, let alone who is going to pay for it. Ive worked my way up the Bosch customer service personnel list just to get to the same dead end. Bottom line: They have a neat product, when it works. But I wish I had known at the time that its not well-made, it will not last, and they will not stand by it. Oh, and it just might burn your house down as it almost did mine. BEWARE!!!

We installed this new oven last year and decided to run the self cleaning option. We did not pull the telescopic oven tray out prior to running the cleaning option. Apparently the high heat ruined the parts involved with the telescopic action. It would have been nice to have had a warning label on the tray or perhaps the dealer might have mentioned this. Im sure it indicates this in the book so Bosch is off the hook for a $250 tray. The salesman at Mahlander’s in Sioux Falls was a complete jerk about it. No more Bosch appliances for this family.

Bought a Bosch Dishwasher from Currys; after a few weeks I felt it was not washing properly. I rang company sent out a repairman. He said its heating and the arms are turning so its fine. I showed him a stained mug which he took for examination. A few months later it still wasnt washing properly, rang again sent out another Bosch guy. He advised I should have bought elsewhere. Many phone calls to the UK followed. Finally UK said get onto Currys. I went into Currys and explained my situation: dishwasher doesnt wash properly and I cant used dishwasher tablets have to use powder. They were very helpful in the beginning but finally told me that Bosch UK said that their Engineer said it was fine. I have never dealt with such terrible Customer Services as in Bosch UK. They really dont have a clue but dont really want to know your problem. Sadly I have a Bosch washing machine and a Neff oven from the same house. I dread to think how they are going to pan out. It seems to me that Bosch will string you along until your warranty is gone. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM BOSCH OR NEFF AGAIN AND I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE PEOPLE TO DO THE SAME. For decades now I have used and preferred Bosch products. Recently I have had an ongoing bad experience with a Bosch dishwasher that I bought last June from Sears. Last January it abruptly stopped working. It was under warranty so I contacted Bosch as Sears does not handle warranty issues. I was told to contact a local service provider. To my regret I called Appliance Marshall repair in Cary Illinois. The idiot they sent made 2 trips and was not able to figure out how to make the warranty repairs. Instead he claimed that water leaking from the brand new custom made to accommodate my new dishwasher had somehow leaked water that damaged the dishwasher, and that it was not covered by warranty. I told him that there was never any such event, and there was no water leak anywhere. The only source of water in that location was the dishwasher. I have pictures that show the floor discolorations and that the leak came from the dishwasher itself. There is no discolouration or drip line on the floor aside from the perimeter of the unit. But since this guy used up my 2 service calls I have to pay for some 3rd party to come out and fix my dishwasher. This has been going on for over 2 months now and I still cannot use my VERY expensive Bosch dishwasher. I should add that during both visits this creep made to my home he made me very uncomfortable by asking irrelevant questions, suggesting friends for repairs to the new home I am remodeling, and really strange behaviour. I hope these guys are subject to a successful criminal background check prior to being sent into peoples homes. Anyway, prior to his deciding and informing Bosch that he could not accomplish the warranty repairs, I called and emailed Appliance Marshall repair that he never be sent to my home again since he made me so uncomfortable. Since an accurate and verifiable diagnosis of this unit was never made I feel that I have a Bosch product in my kitchen that is a fire and electrocution hazard. I just want to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Bosch.

[01/02, 10:17] Neha: Highly disappointed with Bosch Product not worth other brands seems far better in India. I Bought my Bosch Refrigerator KGN56LB412/05 just 2.5 months ago in Nov 2019 and guess what the refrigerator has stopped working and the service guys are saying the modular needs to be changed. How can I accept this.. Bosch swear by the technology of its machines. What sort of Machine is this which got faulty just in 2.5 months and you people are not even replacing the machine rather just replacing a part. Never ever buy Bosch product. They are non reliable in India. The installation guy took 2 weeks to install that too post escalations. Now the fridge is faulty and for the replacement part also they dont have parts available and need time. Worst service no body picks call. What sort example Bosch is giving. If your product is faulty and and gets highlighted have the courage to call it back and dont keep playing with customer. Bosh team, have given standard answer that team will contact you but what my Refrigerator is not working from past 4 days. Its a brand new 2.5 months old Refrigerator which has collapsed completely and stopped cooling or functioning. Nobody called me. I had to call up customer care constantly just to reach service Managers who have no courtesy to respond to customers calls when there is some fault in their product. After lots of time spending on their customer care I got a call for 5 mins which was not satisfactory at all. The Manager is talking about company protocol and convincing me for repair with such a Major fault. I feel so #cheated# buying this #Bosch#Refrigerator#. The #Bosh Refrigerator# is around 70k and collapsed just in 2.5 month. The machine has stopped cooling completely and its of no use still your guys are refusing to replace it.It has been a total #nightmare# ever since I purchased this #Bosch Refrigerator#. I purchased this machine from Vijay sales Chandanagar branch and initially they sent unpacked used machine with black Marks all over dirty plug which was used from ages. I complained then they accepted and returned and told Bosch has sent this used piece they are not aware. Again they sent a broken wheel screw Refrigerator which and this was the third piece after lot of struggle we received. I took so much pain just to buy this brand #BOSCH# and to add more to my struggle this Refrigerator has collapsed and stopped cooling in just 2.5 months which was never expected from the brand I used to trust so much. Now #Bosch company# is not even replacing their faulty product and giving so many lame excuses. Trying to push faulty Bosch Refrigerator. Please stop cheating customers Bosch India. How do you expect me to settle on repairing when there is a major Machine problem in bosch Refrigerator. It has stopped cooling in just 2.5 months. Please dont push the faulty machine over to a customer rather replace your faulty Bosch Refrigerator responsibly. I am literally harassed buying Bosch product this time. This is not my first product from bosch. I have convinced my family and revamped their machine to bosch. This is what I get to show brand loyalty towards Bosch. Very, very disappointing. I have a 1.5 yrs old kid and I am without Refrigerator even after buying a premium brand on high price without any fault. It a harassing journey ever since I bought this Refrigerator.

My father purchased a Bosch tankless water heater about 18 months ago. He had a professional plumber install the tank to the specifications that the factory mandates. The unit never did work properly. After hours on the phone with tech support listening to every reason in the book why it wasn't "their" fault , and hundreds if not thousands of dollars spent on a plumber they still will not honor their warranty and replace the unit. The problem with the unit is that whenever you turn on the cold water to make the water warm instead of scalding, the heater shuts off completely leaving you with ice cold water. The factory techs tell us that there is not enough water coming into the unit. Ok easy fix right "just tell us how much water is required". O wait the "tech" isn't allowed to suggest anything like that. My father is so frustrated he wants to take the unit outside and shoot it with a rifle. If there is a class action we want in!!!!!! Bosch 1000 rpm 6kg 15 Prog Classixx. I like Bosch products because they last well. Theyre expensive to buy, compared with other brands, but cheaper in the long run (and therefore also better environmentally). The reviews for this product were good as well, which is always a big factor for me. I wanted a general purpose model, which is why I chose this one. I didnt need anything special as I dont do any specialist washing (very dirty or extra large items, for example). Ive had this washing machine since October 2004. I dont know whether or not this model of the Bosch washing machine range still exists, but I would recommend it simply because the machine has always performed well and washed satisfactorily, its about average cost to run (slightly better than that, actually) and its never broken down in the eleven plus years Ive had it.

I called and Bosch would charge starting off around $200 to just come out to fix. Nope never buy a Bosch if you care how long the product appearance will last.

Purchased Bosch dishwasher (Dishwasher SHX68T55uc/01) from Lowe’s - came without plug to connect to power. Was told several times by Bosch customer service that the power cord was an option. The power cord has a special plug associated with it so it cannot be connected to power without the special cord. Also the rubber gasket on the side of the unit was pinched in the door and had taken an improper set which interfered with the door seal. Bosch said since this was a floor model that it was purchased as is. I also received a sound deadening device with the unit that Bosch denies belongs to them. If you want a product that a manufacturer will stand behind do not by Bosch. I spend almost $1000.00 on this junk - it is going back.

Let it be known, the Bosch website controls how many negative reviews can be posted. Mine was rejected when I complained about the lettering disappearing from the controls of my Bosch dishwasher. There are many non-Bosch website reviews critical of this issue. It would be suspicious if there were no critical reviews, so some are obviously allowed, but compare the 5 star and 1 star percentages to Amazons reviews. Quite a different story.

Called Bosch, had service repair at great expense. They said it dries and is designed to leave drops on top and it leaks down on dishes leaving them wet. Also cycle time has doubled to 158 minutes. They said, “Do not run at night, open immediately after cycle to get drier dishes.” Are they kidding? $1000 for a dishwasher you cannot run at night! DO NOT BUY BOSCH products. Service and website are terrible. Their attitude is ‘customer is always wrong.’

I believe there should be a recall of all ovens. No follow up from customer service, no interest, we were left with burned oven and promise to replace which hasnt realize yet (waiting second month to get it).

Purchased new in 2004. Main range burner (right front) never did feel right, rough to turn and if you put it to the wrong spot (nice light simmer), it would go out, but the gas would still run. New Years Eve 2007, the oven burner quit at about 3:00 in the afternoon, part way thru cooking a massive prime rib roast. The electric starter came on and glowed, the gas valve opened but the oven burner wouldnt light. Phoned the dealer (Midland Appliances) and asked them for help, they told me that they could have someone out in about two weeks. Since I was in the middle of preparing a dinner for 10, I finished the roast on the BBQ. It didnt turn out that well, since its hard to cook outside at -20C. Took it all apart the next day and determined that the orifice was plugged/blocked so I cleaned it out with a needle file. About once or twice per year, ever since, same problem. Orifice fouled, and the gas doesnt flow. Eventually the electric starter failed, so I replaced it. Had to order from an outside vendor, as per manufacturer website. Part was delivered, oven back in operation, regular orifice cleanings (and failed meals) continued. In 2011, the main range burner finally failed. It was on and when I tried to turn it down, something broke internally on the shaft. Had to shut the gas off to the entire unit, because the valve wouldnt close. So we are without oven or range. No parts available in our city, again, so I had to order from the outside vendor and have shipped. Five days total without an oven or range top. Many meals outside of the home and many take out meals delivered. New valve installed and the same rough feeling as the original valve. I am probably going to have to replace it again in a few years.November 29, 2013 my wife calls me at work, oven not coming on again. Okay, have to pull the oven out again and clean the orifice, I guess?? Well not this time, now the valve for the baking half of the oven has failed. Electric starter comes on, voltage changes to the valve, but the valve doesnt open. Order the valve ($161) from the outside vendor, four days later it arrives, two hours to install and the oven is back in operation.December 21, 2013 (yesterday) and were having family for early Christmas dinner. About 1:00PM, I turned the oven on to start our turkey and the electric starter glows but the gas valve doesnt open. I hear the solenoid for the starter click and it glows and about a minute later I should hear the valve for the gas open but I dont. Turkey is back in fridge, called the local Chinese take out place for ($185) worth of food. I will pull it apart again on Wednesday (Christmas day) but I suspect that the (new) valve is defective. And on, and on, it goes.Other observations: Well the fit and finish on the visible parts of the oven are quite nice, the guts of it are a mess. Screws dont line up with hole, many are stripped or over tightened. The sheet metal is of the lightest gauge possible and often wires are installed and poorly secured. The adjustable legs dont secure very well and as a result every-time you move the unit, it has to be re-leveled. The unit appears to be made in Mexico, and the range valve was also Mexican made, so I guess its goodbye to German quality.Long and short, this range has been very problematic and I will NEVER buy another Bosch appliance, small or large. And since I am a vengeful sort, I will probably not buy/install Bosch vehicle (starters, alternators) parts either.

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher in 2006 from a reputable dealer. Over the past 7 years, I have had the dishwasher serviced for a malfunctioning handle, leaking all over the floor, and excessive build up. I have spent approximately $573 on repairs and now it is leaking again with the build up. I have contacted Bosch and they will not help me unless I pay for the repair dealer to come out again for an official diagnosis. To get this diagnosis, it will cost me another $150. The best Bosch will commit to is pay for parts. This is ridiculous!

Bosch Energy Star tankless hot water heater refused to start. 45-minute wait for tech help. Every fix they told me to try failed. Average time on the phone each time 1 hr 45 min. I went through the same dog and pony show each time. I was told to purchase a $50.00 part at their authorized parts house. Part out of stock. It took 15 days with express shipping. The part did not cure the problem. By this time we have gone one month without hot water (in the winter in Idaho). They stonewalled us at every turn. I finally talked to a female in sales who told me I didnt know what I was doing. In frustration I ripped out the Bosch and replaced it with a Rinnai tankless. What a nice unit - problem-free.And when you call, there is no wait, and their techs listen and answer each point. Not the negative attitude you get from Bosch. My best friend had similar experience with his Bosch dishwasher. Neither of us will ever purchase anything from BOSCH. As a note, yesterday I went to the auto parts to get an in-tank fuel pump for my Corvette. Needless to say, I didn’t buy the Bosch. I purchased the more expensive Delco. I also let them know why.

A few years ago we bought Bosch green dishwasher. That means it uses relatively low (below 100C) temperature to wash and dry. Thus various microbes are not killed and the dishwasher sanitized. Finally, the water which always should be in the dishwasher gets nasty smell. Who was so stupid to create such green stuff without option to use normal washing and drying temperature not the green? Do not buy Bosch as you can get something stupid like green microbe friendly appliance.

The new stove for the new house I sold to a homeowner does not work and have been trying to get the company to send someone to fix it for the past 3 days. They have given me 5 different telephone numbers for someone to come and take a look it. While I purchased my Bosch electric range in September of 2014 and am out of warranty, I had expected a better experience when the inner glass door shattered during the self-cleaning cycle, especially as I rarely use the oven and this was only the 3rd time I used the self-clean feature. When I called Bosch, the agent I spoke with seemed to agree with me that there must be a defect of some kind for this to happen, and she made an appointment for a technician to assess the issue at no charge to me. I may have been somewhat naive, but I was led to believe that Bosch would likely review the issue and not charge me for the repair as the damage clearly occurred due to a defect in the appliance and through no fault of mine. The technician they sent was awesome, arrived on time, assessed the problem and told me he would order the glass. As I didnt hear back from Bosch, I assumed that the agent had brought my issue to the attention of her supervisor and, since I didnt hear back, assumed there would be no charge to me. Well the technician is in my kitchen repairing my oven door and asked if Id heard from Bosch as to the charge. When I advised I hadnt, he suggested I call. I was shocked to find out that no one had made an effort to send my issue up their chain of command, nor was I able to speak with a supervisor as there was none available. The best they would offer, as the technician was already doing the repair job, was a 20% discount off the replacement glass.I also had an issue with my Bosch microwave one month out of warranty when the turntable motor stopped working. I was told I would have to pay not only for the replacement piece, but for the technicians visit, but I wasnt told that until the repair guy showed up at my door and told me that I would be seeing lots of him because they dont make appliances the way they used to. I sent him away on principle and hired an appliance repair guy to do the job - it wasnt cheaper but I couldnt get past the guys attitude.Had I known I would also be charged to repair a defective appliance, I would probably have hired the same appliance repair guy to do the job. The only thing that made this experience less horrible was the technician they sent - he was prompt, efficient and clearly knew what he was doing. I bought Bosch Appliances because everything I read indicated they were absolutely top of the line. I am severely disappointed in the product and their poor customer service problem resolution.

My wonderful Bosch dishwasher recently stopped dispensing the detergent. Since its under warranty, I have followed all the required steps and jumped through the requested hoops, but have discovered that Bosch obviously does not offer service in our area. Over the past week I have spent 2 hours and 47 minutes on the phone (most of it on hold), been disconnected (with no return call from them) 3 times, and have emailed with no response twice. I have a file number now due to the concerns about no service provider in our area, but that seems to be simply a pacifier, since it has proven to provide nothing. Bosch service is THE worst!

I purchased a Bosch gas stove and dishwasher 18 months ago as part of a home remodeling project. Within weeks of installation the symbols on the stove knobs indicating what burner they corresponded to had virtually worn away. I had the plate replaced and within a few months they had worn away again. I have used no cleaning product on the stove other than stainless steel cleaner - now I just live with the fact that people have to figure out what burner theyre turning on by trial and error. Within months the electrical components of the oven also began to malfunction. The oven would preheat but if it were left on for a while (while cooking Thanksgiving dinner, for instance - yes, that happened) the oven would spontaneously go dead - the digital display as well as the heating element. Switching off the circuit breaker and turning it back on again did nothing. I had the circuit board replaced (it was still under warranty) and a few weeks later the same thing happened (again, during a party when I was doing a lot of cooking). Long story short, it took 6 months and several service calls to resolve the problem. Now the oven works but the clock loses hours almost daily - I have to constantly re-set it. (Again, I just live with this - apparently having a stove clock that works is too much to ask.) The dishwasher has been just as bad. A wine glass apparently broke during a washing cycle and a 1 shard of glass got through the filter and into the pump. (Like this has never happened before in anyones kitchen? The filter system underneath the dish rack should be designed to prevent hard objects like a piece of glass from getting into the pump.) The dishwasher is 18 months old. I just spent $250 dollars for a new pump. I will never, ever buy a Bosch appliance again. I had a Frigidaire dishwasher in my old house and never had a service call in 10 years. For supposedly higher-end appliances, Boschs engineering and attention to detail is absolutely pathetic. I would give them a 0 for reliability. The local appliance outlet I bought these from has been extremely prompt about coming to my home for service calls, and very apologetic about my complaints. I dont blame them - I place the blame entirely on the poor quality of the appliances themselves.

Bosch double oven HBL 57 - I have been happy with this oven until today. I went to use the self-cleaning feature for the first time and the glass in the door shattered into a million pieces approx. 1/2 hour into the cleaning cycle. I called Boschs 800-944-2904 number and explained what happened and that I felt they should replace the glass since it was obviously defective or would not have shattered. I was told no they could not do that but they could give me a service provider number in our area. When she determined that they didnt have a provider in our area, she said I should look in the phone book for someone to repair the oven. She did, after I asked her, provide me with a service provider in the nearest large city to us, but she left me with the impression that she could care less about providing good customer service. I will be sure and tell everyone I can how helpful Bosch is when you have a problem!

DO NOT BUY BOSCH!!! My kitchen renovation required a replacement of the brand new stove. The dishwasher was replaced at least 2 times, and thereafter required service and at the present time is noisy. The refrigerator required several service calls and replacement of the ice maker, as whenever I needed ice, there was none, or the cold cuts in the refrigerator were frozen, or the vegetables in the drawer were frozen. It is too frustrating. In the beginning, Bosch was accommodating, however, there is no assistance whatsoever although I was assured they would be there to assist with the refrigerator. We purchased a Bosch Dishwasher on 4-27-2014 from Sears; at which time Bosch had a rebate (Offer # 781-34) of $150.00 Install Reward. We sent the rebate in on the following day. It said that we would received rebate within 8 to 10 weeks. We waited until about 7 weeks and then called the 800# on the form to check on the status of the rebate and were told that they didnt have any record of it yet and should call back in 2 weeks. Called back 2 weeks later and talked to a man that said for some odd reason it must have been lost. We asked him if that meant that we lost out on our $150.00 rebate and he said, No, just resend it, but that we would just have to wait another 8 to 10 weeks. Now we received a postcard stating that the request was not postmarked within the time frame stated on the rebate form. We called the rebate center and explained the situation and they said that the 2 times that we called there were never reported so they were sorry but we lost our rebate. This we feel is totally not our fault. We sent the rebate on time. They should have created an account on us the first time we called. The rebate offer is what made us buy the Bosch in the first place. It was to pay for the installation fee. We talked to a supervisor at the rebate center and she told us that the man that told us to resend the papers to them should have given us a different address to send them to. I asked her for that different address and that I would resend them for the 3rd time and she said that it was too late now because the rebate was over. This is really ridiculous. We have searched on line and found that we are not the only ones this has happened to. What is actually happening with these rebates that people like us are suppose to be getting but arent? We are very disgusted in this whole situation and in the way the rebate center for Bosch is run. They need to train the people hired there to do their jobs. We are not upset with the actual people that are answering the phone but the ones that are higher up doing the hiring and training. Went higher up and talked to a person from Bosch and they said that the rebates are all handled by the rebate center and that this was out of their hands.

I bought my dishwasher in May of 2011, and it worked fine until October 2012 when it decided to spring a leak. Due to my work schedule, it took a couple of weeks to schedule and receive the new parts for the dishwasher. The part that did arrive was broken but the technician was able to make it work. Everything has gone worked since, well, until yesterday. Another leak and the dishwasher is now out of warranty. I looked at the original estimate for repair and realized that the cost of repair would nearly be half of a new dishwasher. I am convinced I bought a bad dishwasher and I am just having some bad luck. I think I will try a different brand. Just like a Chevy. I cant stand them and find them to have reliability issues. I am sure the same goes with dishwashers.

When my Bosch dishwasher was 4 years old a safety recall was done at no charge. I had a similar problem again four more years later and called their customer help line to see what it would cost to have a service technician check it out. When I gave them my serial number and explained the problem I was having the representative said it may be the same problem as previous and as it was safety related there would be no charge. Their rate at the time was in excess of $100.00 per hour. I explained to the rep that I did not want to pay that much if there was a possibility it was not the same problem. She assured me that there would be no charge for the diagnosis. The repairman came and found that the electrical connection to the unit had shorted. He installed a new wire connector at no charge even though it was no fault of their product. It has been working fine since then and is now ten year old, but when it does finally die I will definitely buy another Bosch dishwasher. Their product and service has far exceeded my expectations.

My experience with a Bosch dishwasher was having it hang up during a cycle and not shut off. This was the first month I used it. Turns out it was under recall for a control board failure that had caused fires. Unfortunately only a licenced Bosch repair company could do the warranty work. Closest and only (?) one in OR is 90 mins away. Control board costs half of what a good competitor brand machine costs. Since having it fixed, if the machine gets interrupted by power bump, door open, off button pressed, or anything, then it loses its place and is a nightmare to reset. Try googling how to reset one. Note the multiple ways given and question how or why there are so many. If I can just get it to drain this time, I have a Maytag waiting in the kitchen to take its place.
