I had called the factory service (Dale ** at **) and also talked to the service manager Ron ** to have my dryer repaired. The problem was first tried to fix on August 8th, 2011 where I had paid close to $300. But the problem of the clinging and banging noise did not go away. After 2 more visits, the service man had ordered new parts that seemed to be delivered always wrong. Today, after 3 months later, my nerves are blank listening to this banging, clinging dryer noise, which I have to hear 3 times per week. Nobody calls anymore to show any effort to fix this problem. How can it be that Bosch cannot fix their own machines? I think that I have been more than patient. And if you cannot repair what is wrong with my dryer, then I deserve a new machine. Or, deduct the already paid $273.25 and get me a new dryer.

We purchased four Bosch appliances in January 2011 and by November 2011, there was rust on them. Our fridge looked like someone sprayed the rust on it. It is that bad. We contacted Bosch and they sent a service person to look at it and confirmed the problem. He said that the appliances werent 100% Stainless steel because he tested it with a magnet and there was some magnetic attraction. Anyway, he then tried cleaning it per his instructions from Bosch and the rust remained. We contacted Bosch about what the service man said and then was told that the appliance were only warranted for 30 days for cosmetic defects and we should try cleaning it again. We tried cleaning again this time using a very fine steel wool. Some spots were removed but still left a residual stain but many, many spots the rust remained. We then contacted Bosch again. They asked us to send pictures and then they offered to give us 50% off replacement parts as their solution to the defective appliances we paid full price for. This is not the answer we expected from a company who sells what they call top of the line appliances. We were told that the problem of rust was because our condo is on the ocean in FL I cant believe that everyone living on coastal America has had rust problems on their appliances with in a year of purchase. Our Floridian neighbors dont seem to have this problem with other brands. Also we had purchased Bosch appliances for our CT home in 2007and have no rusting problems and we live a block from the sea. I read on rekitchen.com that Bosch warranties against rust on dishwashers. This obviously is not true. From what Ive read here, Bosch does not live up to their reputation!

The control module failed and the motor burned up on the Axxis Washer. Total repair cost was $700.00. The repair technician was shocked at the amount of soot and black carbon inside the washer body, and he commented, You are lucky you didnt have a fire. Extensive emails with Bosch finally elicited a response: Tough and have a nice day. Bosch appliances are overpriced and do not deliver the quality nor reliability they represent in their brand. I would never buy again nor recommend it to my worst enemy. Simply put, in German, with Bosch: Alles immer schiesse. Buy domestic. Its cheaper to replace a domestic unit than repair a Bosch.

We bought this Bosch Dishwasher less than a year ago to replace a previous Bosch Dishwasher which lasted 11 years! Our experience with the last dishwasher was excellent, dishes, cutlery, cleaned impeccably. Not so with the latest one bought from Lowes, a Bosch 300 Series 46-Decibel Built-In Dishwasher (Stainless Steel) (Common: 24-in; Actual: 23.625-in). Cleaning of all dishes and cutlery is inconsistent, with some not properly cleaned, lingering odor at times but livable. Weve had the unit serviced twice, first time the technician replaced the water pump, the second time he basically said there was nothing wrong with the machine. We called Bosch and initially they were empathetic and indicated they would escalate our situation and possibly replace the unit. But after they received the technician service orders, they advised us that Bosch would not replace the unit. So basically we are stuck with a lemon dishwasher that doesnt perform well with no recourse. Needless to say we are very disappointed with this type of service and indifference. We were Bosch Dishwasher fans, not anymore!

I have been an advocate for Bosch for over a decade. We purchased our first dishwasher in 2008 and it was awesome. I cant tell you how many people I referred to purchase Bosch products. We recently purchased a new dishwasher in mid 2015 (SHX68T55UC 24 800 series built in) and it is built super flimsy and has given us problems on multiple occasions. I was getting tired of troubleshooting and recently it just stopped working altogether. I contacted Bosch customer service and basically they said sorry not on warranty anymore. It will cost you $125 for a service call + $30 for every 15 minutes of labor + parts. This is just wrong. I could not be more disappointed with the quality and service of Bosch. A $1,000.00 dishwasher should last more than 2 years wouldnt you agree?

After cooking a pot roast I accidentally got pan drippings on the oven door. I wiped them up and closed the oven door and found that drippings poured inside and became trapped between the glass. I bought a Bosch SHE3AR7UC Ascenta dishwasher about 6 months ago after my previous low end unit got too noisy after 9 years of service to me and more to the previous homeowner). Given the price and ratings, I expected a trouble free appliance. Yes, it is quiet. But it arrived with internal damage and when I called them, they said they could replace the bent up tray. I said I was uncomfortable with that, as I didnt know what other damage may have been caused. I was not given a choice so accepted their offer. Months later, it has failed about 6 times, and is now unusable. Error 15, 24, and sometimes wont reset or power off. The repairman comes in a few days, meanwhile I am handwashing dishes after spending 800 bucks! And they wont replace it, despite having shipped me a damaged unit. Customer service on the phone is also poor, unless you get past the front line folks. I will never buy Bosch again.

We purchased a Bosch washer and dryer a couple of years ago and a door seal went bad on the dryer. Clearly this shouldnt have gone bad after two years, especially after paying top dollar for what was sold as a premium unit. The part was only $10, but Bosch said a service tech had to install it, costing $75-$100. The part was a simple slide, in part, a 10-year-old kid could install, less complicated than lacing a shoe, but Bosch decided not to use common sense in this case and said thats all they could do. Like the old saying, penny wise, pound foolish.” Probably the worst customer service Ive ever dealt with. Never buy Bosch; they don’t stand by their products.

We purchased our Bosch refrigerator two years ago at a higher price than other comparable Fridge. We purchased it because of the excellent reputation. The gallon milk door tray broke after 2 years of use. I called Bosch customer services about it. They will not replace it because it is beyond the warranty period. My prior refrigerator uses different type of plastic and it is thicker. It lasted 20 years without problem. They need to design the product of looks and reliability. I was a plant manager. My experience has taught me the product quality and reliability are the most important factors in keeping customers. Bosch manager need to stand behind their product. INVESTIGATE: BOSCHs @YOUR SERVICE (AT-YOUR-SVC) (KIRKLAND, WA) PROVIDER FOR FRAUD. FILE NO. **. My BOSCH microwave stopped working on 11/27/2017, I contacted BOSCH customer support and was recommended to schedule an appointment with BOSCH authorized @Your Service (Kirkland, WA) local service provider. The owner/technician showed-up on 11/29/2017, ran microwave for 30 seconds and created an invoice stating that Magnetron, PC board w/ inverter and Control board membrane have stopped working. I requested the technician to at least open up the microwave to check but he declined stating that he has enough (30+ years) experience to know whats going on. I paid $120 for 5 mins diagnostics and was assured that this amount will be used towards the appliance repair.@Your Service asked me to order parts directly from BOSCH. I paid $300 for all parts and received it last weekend. @Your Service was scheduled to come on 12/14/2017 for the repairs but they declined stating that they dont have time to fix it and were upset that the parts were sent directly to my home instead of their service location. They now refuse to fix the microwave. I have now scheduled BOSCH to repair the microwave on 01/02/2018. I want BOSCH to investigate the following:1) How can a BOSCH authorized service provider do the diagnosis to identify broken parts & charge customer without even opening the appliance? Is BOSCH really trying to sell & push more spare parts to customers via these 3rd party providers? 2) What are guidelines for BOSCH to authorize a local service provider? Based on my experience @Your Service (AT-YOUR-SVC) (KIRKLAND, WA) is a FRAUD company, using BOSCHs brand name for business and cheating customers. 3) How can I file a formal complaint to BOSCH management to investigate this and exclude @YOUR SERVICE from being an authorized BOSCH service provider? Happy to engage with a manager/executive to discuss this in detail.

So frustrating to get a letter in the mail that tells you to stop using your dishwasher immediately like its no big deal and doesnt inconvenience my life. Of course after trying to call, I get a voicemail saying due to caller volume they are unable to take my call at this time then the call disconnects! Im supposed to stop using my dishwasher because its unsafe and wait until I can get through to them and schedule somebody to come out and fix it. Who knows how long this will take. Save your money and buy a less expensive brand. Ive never had this problem with the dishwasher before and have never spent this much on a dishwasher.

We bought a high-end Bosch dishwasher from a big box store three years ago
We bought a high-end Bosch dishwasher from a big box store three years ago and have recommended it to everyone we know. We always loved how quiet it worked, how clean our dishes were, and the cool features Bosch has like the third rack for silverware. However, last week it just quit working out of the blue. Upon further inspection, the Bosch-supplied junction box had MELTED, along with the wiring. A quick Google search indicated that Bosch dishwashers develop mysterious and dangerous problems after three years... when they are out of warranty. As a matter of fact, check their recall record: my dishwasher SHOULD be part of the massive recall since the power box melted (the very problem they were seeking to remedy with the recall), but Bosch Customer Service says it is not. They (falsely) told me they would cover the problem anyway, but then the day the repairman came out, told me they would not only not cover it, they would not even ORDER the part I needed until I could provide proof of ownership. When I did, then they said they would not order the part until a written diagnosis was provided by the tech (who has other house calls to make?). I shudder to think how many more hoops I will have to jump through JUST TO GET THE PART, let alone who is going to pay for it. Ive worked my way up the Bosch customer service personnel list just to get to the same dead end. Bottom line: They have a neat product, when it works. But I wish I had known at the time that its not well-made, it will not last, and they will not stand by it. Oh, and it just might burn your house down as it almost did mine. BEWARE!!!

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher in April 2012 and have had nothing but trouble with it, even having the repairman out. Thank heavens I purchased the extended warranty. It doesnt dry at all. When the repairman came, he said that I had to open the door to let out the steam so that it would dry. What? You want me to get up in the middle of the night to open the door? I use the dishwasher soap that was supplied with the washer, so thats not it. It has the rinse agent in. I have to wash my silverware by hand as I would never let anyone eat off them like they are when I take them out of the washer. They are good stainless steel. When you pull out the bottom rack, it falls off the track. Silverware container takes up too much space. My other one was in the door, it was a less expensive washer and I had it for 13 years and was still working, but I thought that I would get new appliances. Well good thing that I didnt buy all Bosch. I am not going to recommend this washer to anyone. I am very disappointed with this product.

We have had 2 warranty claims and repeated problems with the cleaning performance of the machine. For the past year, we have complained and Bosch blames that the poor cleaning is due to the removal of phosphates from detergents. I have had so many clothes ruined by this Bosch 500 Series washer and dryer
I have had so many clothes ruined by this Bosch 500 Series washer and dryer. I had purchased this set from Lowe’s as a second set for the upper level of my home so I would not have to walk down to the basement. I have an 8-year-old LG Tromm set down there. This set seemed to have lots of positive reviews, and I got a great deal on the display model, so I thought I got a good deal. White clothes come out grey and dingy even with bleach. All my family’s jeans have permanent crumple creases down the legs from where the dye faded. Bed sheets turn into long twisted ropes, which would work out well if I was trying to make an escape from my prison window. And everything smells moldy. The dryer does not have a heat setting and shuts off before the clothes are dry, leaving the moldy clothes even more time to get even moldier. The steam setting does not steam but rather drips moldy water onto clothes, leaving them with wet spots. Settings are weird: like you have a choice of damp dry, regular dry, extra dry, and my favorite, xxxtraxtra dry? And not one of the settings gets the clothes dry because you have to line dry the clothes to finish the drying once they are done. And the washer is the same; weird settings like comforters, jeans, and babycare, but not white, brights, or colors? Then if you really want to get aggravated, you can select an eco-smart function that uses less water, making the dinginess of the dirty water even more concentrated, and it takes 3 hours for it to cycle. One nice thing is that it is quiet while it runs, but when it’s all done with the load, it will beep loudly all night every 2 minutes, and you can’t shut it off until you get up and open the door, then the light stays on all night. So why this machine won energy saver awards is puzzling. Anyways, after buying every kind of laundry detergent made to man, testing out all the silly stupid settings, replacing filters, hoses, and gaskets, and stacking and unstacking the machines, I have given up and am listing this machine on craigslist for free for whoever wants to ruin their clothes. Oh, my old LG cleans circles around this hunkajunk, plus it is used at least 5 times a day to clean towels from a hair salon. I had to replace a pump that went out on it; LG just charged me shipping and sent me the part free even though it’s out of warranty for 6 yrs. So, my advice to someone who wants to buy this machine? Don’t waste your money when you can come get mine for free!

We have had dishwashers since 1974 and were always satisfied. A guarantee should not mean that after 2 years machines should start misbehaving. The baskets are rusting even though no objects that could rust were put in there. The light for the main programme failed. The on off - switch failed. We purchased our 800 Series from Lowes. I wish I had returned it. The wheels on the lower rack were poorly designed (product manager should be fired). If there are any dishes in the lower rack, you cannot pull the rack out. Its frustrating to struggle with this everyday, and with the price we paid, I really expected a better dishwasher. I have called customer service three times. They have been no help - instead, they wanted to send out a service person. (Can you fix bad design?) The last agent said, Oh, we have a fix for that now - has anyone offered to send you the fat wheels. The wheels were not wider, and they were not a fix. The rack constantly gets rolls off track and gets stuck inside the dishwasher. So - if youre going to purchase any Bosch at all - you might want to try putting a few plates into the bottom rack and see if it pulls out. This one bad design feature overshadows the third rack for silverware and any other nifty features. If you cannot get the most important design right, the rest do not matter. Oh, and you must thoroughly prewash your dishes as this 800 Series cannot do the job on its own.

We just turned away our second delivery of a Lowes special order 300 series Bosch dishwasher due to damage. Really... is it too much to ask for an indented face on your $700.00 dishwasher these days? Yes, it is being shipped to Hawaii to the tune of a 6-8 week delivery time and many people have handled it in the transportation process, but I believe much has to do with how Bosch is packaging the item with only thick cardboard frame pieces on the 4 ends, styrofoam corners on the top and thick plastic wrap holding it all together. There is no protection to the face or sides. For an international company, you would think they would be more conscientious about how they protect their product before it gets to the end user. Will have to think seriously before I order a third one!

I purchased an Energy Star Bosch dishwasher about two years ago. It runs quietly but my main complaint is that even when I use the power wash cycle (which I always use now), the dishes just dont come out clean. I need to practically wash them before I load them in. And then after the cycle is finished, the glasses on the top rack always have food remnants on and in them. Also, the dishes sometimes are still dirty in places. I think that being an Energy Star appliance, quality and efficiency have been compromised for the sake of conserving water and electricity. In addition it probably costs me more money to pre-wash the dishes before I put them in the dishwasher! I also find that the silverware rack is in the wrong place. The silverware catches on the side making the rack stick when you pull it out. It also is on the other side of the dishwasher when loading. I owned a Maytag dishwasher for 12 years and loved it; I never even called a repairman. I will not buy another Bosch!

From the first day of unwrapping the dishwasher it had an awkward smell. After initiating use the smell worsened which led me to calling Bosch since it was under warranty, I explained that there was a really bad smell and while cleaning the filter notice that a small amount of water remained after each use. I assumed there was a drainage problem hence keeping water which would cause the smell. The customer rep was rude from the beginning and initially told me there was nothing they could do, after hashing it out she confirmed it was under warranty and scheduled a technician to come out. The tech checked it said it was running perfectly and that it is normal for a small amount of water to remain at the bottom. He told me to use liquid instead of powder or the small pacs. I have bought dishwasher cleaner, rinsed it with vinegar, Clorox and still it smells awful. I have another home and many friends with dishwashers and despite any reason they do not smell as much as mine... I am so unhappy. I hate using it, secondly it does not clean well. I am going to try to inquire about a refund. I will never buy a Bosch product of any kind for any of my homes. My Bosch dishwasher was purchased from Best Buy.

Ice maker never worked right. Repair tech said we use too much ice. Microwave blew up after 2 years. Unit was replaced by Bosch but does not match the rest of my appliances. Instructed not to use the metal rack that comes with the microwave.Dishwasher needed a service call because it was making excessive noise after 3 years of use. Now, while cooking a Christmas roast, the inner glass of my 4 year old oven exploded after the oven was turned off. Glass all over the kitchen. We were stuck with a $200 repair bill. Service tech instructed us not to use the self clean feature. My husband and I are in our 60s and the appliances are not overly used. I have had more repairmen in my house in the past 4 years than I have had in 41 yrs of marriage. Bosch appliances are very expensive, overrated, and unreliable.

Received a recall notice stating that the dishwasher I purchased is a FIRE HAZARD in my home. Logged onto the website and filled out all the information. Recall letter stated that I could arrange for service online. Not so. Was provided with a number to call to set up appointment. Waited on hold and then was transferred to a voicemail that couldnt take messages. Finally got someone on the phone at Bosch and was told it takes 2 weeks to get an appointment. (Hello - fire hazard in my house, not fun!!!) Then I was told that I was lucky (lucky???) that they were fixing it for free. LOL. Really? Bosch makes a faulty appliance that can catch on fire and Im lucky that they will fix it? What a joke. Never again.

For a kitchen renovation in May 2018 I purchased Bosch oven, stove, dishwasher, hood and refrigerator. The 1st day the on/off button on the range hood broke AND the icemaker fell out of the refrigerator. They were repaired at no cost. 8 months later the refrigerator lost power. Upon calling for service we were informed there were 3 authorized dealers in Westchester, NY and we needed to wait 5 days for a repair person. This is not a rural area. Crazy that there are only 3 contracted repair companies. If we called our own repair person the warranty would become invalid and we would have to pay for the repair/part. The person came and said they needed to order a part (computer board) from out of state which would take 5 days. Whatever happened to overnight service? 10 days later the refrigerator which was 8 months old was repaired. We noticed the oven took 2x longer than a recipe required. Upon buying an in oven thermometer we determined that even after following directions to preheat, the oven did not get to the temperature it was set for even after 1 hour. The icemaker works at a snails pace. It takes 24 hours to spit out 10 cubes. I get the sense it doesnt work right. I would NEVER recommend Bosch appliances and I am VERY disappointed I purchased these products. THE WORST.

The worst dishwasher ever made. My father went through Consumer Reports for the best model of dishwasher to get — the Bosch one was in the top 5. This dishwasher was made for international living not for the American ways of life - busy schedules and raising a family. This dishwasher as with all Bosch dishwashers have a smell that rivals rotting meat. You can’t get rid of the odor it comes back time and time again. It also is extremely difficult to navigate. Dishwashers are to be user friendly. Not hard to figure out. I am not alone in this review. Many others feel the same way.

We purchased a new dishwasher two months ago. The handle cracked in all three spots where the handle is screwed in. I called Bosch and within four days the repair tech showed up with a whole new door front. I thought it would just be an easy unscrew the handle and screw a new one in. He replaced the door front and pushed start and the dishwasher no longer works. He thinks he ruined the circuit board. He said he would replace the circuit board but he wasnt even sure if that was the issue. The part never arrived and I contacted Bosch. They said they would exchange the dishwasher for a new one, but I am still waiting. It has been 6 weeks and I have not had a working dishwasher in my home. Thanksgiving weekend was last weekend and I had a house full of company for the entire weekend and no dishwasher. Two months old and here I am with no dishwasher. I purchased Bosch because I thought they were supposed to be the best, but this has just become ridiculous.

Purchased Bosch dishwasher (Dishwasher SHX68T55uc/01) from Lowe’s - came without plug to connect to power. Was told several times by Bosch customer service that the power cord was an option. The power cord has a special plug associated with it so it cannot be connected to power without the special cord. Also the rubber gasket on the side of the unit was pinched in the door and had taken an improper set which interfered with the door seal. Bosch said since this was a floor model that it was purchased as is. I also received a sound deadening device with the unit that Bosch denies belongs to them. If you want a product that a manufacturer will stand behind do not by Bosch. I spend almost $1000.00 on this junk - it is going back.

One out of 10 times the washer does not spin out the water, so you have to do a quick wash to get the system to spin out the water. I called the customer line and finally was routed to a person who said I need a repairman. The washer was bought in August 2008, just four years old. I purchased a Bosch dishwasher in January of 2014. Three months later my stainless steel silverware began to rust and glasses became cloudy. I read the manual and made some adjustment to the Jet Dry dispenser, but it made no difference. Lowes sent out two different repairmen and they could find nothing wrong. I showed them the silverware and glasses and they called Bosch. Bosch made recommendations that did not work.I contacted Bosch and they told me in order to return the dishwasher I needed the original receipt. I couldnt find it and Lowes eventually found it in their records and sent it on to Bosch. It took about 6 months working with Bosch to get to this point. It also involved several store managers. Once all the paperwork had been turned in I heard nothing from Bosch. Several weeks passed and I finally called. They told me the dishwasher would not be replaced. Instead, Lowes replaced the dishwasher. Thank you Lowes!I found the company EXTREMELY difficult to work with. I think they knew from the beginning they were not going to replace the dishwasher, but they had Lowes and me jump all kinds of hoops anyhow. I do not recommend purchasing a Bosch dishwasher. The only thing I could figure out was that something had been left inside the dishwasher causing the problem. Bosch denied this and said it couldnt happen. I replaced the Bosch with a KitchenAid. It works great and is made in America.

The seller I purchased this from initiated a customer service call and they did send out a repair person to look at the oven. He took pictures and said the cavity is unrepairable. After calling them again to get a final response they said the oven works fine and it is only cosmetic. I agree, but this is not minor cosmetic. I have been using Bosch Dishwashers since 1986. I purchased my first Bosch Dishwasher while living in Rauenberg Germany. Had no problem with the machine. On my return to Canada in 1993 I kept the machine, had to have a 220 line installed in house to use machine. In 2013 decided to buy another Bosch machine. I quickly found out there is a difference in quality of machines made in Germany than the ones in North America. I have had nothing but problems with my new Bosch Model SHE3ARF2UC/08 SilencePlus 50 dBA. Every month once or twice a month the machine would not drain. Saying blockage of drain. Dishes are washed off prior to been placed in machine. Problem still persisting. This is a regular problem with this machine. Time to look for another brand. Had enough of this problem. Costly.

My experience with a Bosch dishwasher was having it hang up during a cycle and not shut off. This was the first month I used it. Turns out it was under recall for a control board failure that had caused fires. Unfortunately only a licenced Bosch repair company could do the warranty work. Closest and only (?) one in OR is 90 mins away. Control board costs half of what a good competitor brand machine costs. Since having it fixed, if the machine gets interrupted by power bump, door open, off button pressed, or anything, then it loses its place and is a nightmare to reset. Try googling how to reset one. Note the multiple ways given and question how or why there are so many. If I can just get it to drain this time, I have a Maytag waiting in the kitchen to take its place.

Bosch Energy Star tankless hot water heater refused to start. 45-minute wait for tech help. Every fix they told me to try failed. Average time on the phone each time 1 hr 45 min. I went through the same dog and pony show each time. I was told to purchase a $50.00 part at their authorized parts house. Part out of stock. It took 15 days with express shipping. The part did not cure the problem. By this time we have gone one month without hot water (in the winter in Idaho). They stonewalled us at every turn. I finally talked to a female in sales who told me I didnt know what I was doing. In frustration I ripped out the Bosch and replaced it with a Rinnai tankless. What a nice unit - problem-free.And when you call, there is no wait, and their techs listen and answer each point. Not the negative attitude you get from Bosch. My best friend had similar experience with his Bosch dishwasher. Neither of us will ever purchase anything from BOSCH. As a note, yesterday I went to the auto parts to get an in-tank fuel pump for my Corvette. Needless to say, I didn’t buy the Bosch. I purchased the more expensive Delco. I also let them know why.

Does a good job cleaning dishes. Its quiet and has plenty of adjustments to accommodate different size dishes, pots and pans. The most annoying thing is starting the washer cycle. You must press the start button for the EXACT length of time or it wont start. Hold it too long (more than about 1.5-2 seconds) it wont start, hold it for less than 1 second, it wont start. Over the past few years Ive gotten the timing correct so that it starts about half the time without trying a second or third or fourth time. We bought a Bosch Silence Plus 44 dishwasher less than 6 months ago (July 15) for $875; counting installation, just shy of a grand. Less than 6 months later, most of the dishes are coming out dirty and the pump sounds anemic. I first registered on the Bosch site, then contacted customer service. They did not have any access to their own database, which meant I had to repeat everything all over again. They then sent me to do my own legwork, giving me the name of one contractor 1.5 hours away. The contractor then told me they did not cover my area. Bosch doubted my word and called that contractor when I called to tell them what happened. When the contractor confirmed, they never apologized, but just gave me the names of two other contractors, and told me they could not help me schedule an appointment but I have to do it myself, and they have no way to know how long the wait may be (Those of you who are posting about 1-wk waits apparently ought to be thankful Bosch at least held your hand. As of January 2016 they are not even extending that courtesy). The first contractor I called said there will be a 3-week wait. My husband is German, and used to swear by Bosch. The service technician BOSCH sent out to repair my dishwasher broke it. He then came out two more times 4 weeks later and got it running, but the part he put in are defective and I have to have another service company come out to replace them, both the company I bought it from build.com & the service co. Lakeview Appliance said the dishwasher needs to be replaced. But BOSCH REFUSES TO. Now it leaks and has more problems.

Similar experience to what has been described. After 15 months the dishwasher would not drain - E 24 error message. Followed the advice online and cleared filter, checked impeller, etc. No success. Now there is an E15 error message and the drain pump will not turn off. Very dissatisfied with this purchase. Had an ASKO that worked for 16 years without any issues at all.

Purchased Bosch refrigerator from Croma in June 2013. Some technical problem with the refrigerator and not working since two weeks. Tried calling Bosch customer care service several times. Finally my tenth call was answered after a long wait for 20 mins on the telephone. They have given me complaint no. and asked me to wait for another 48 hrs for the technician to call me back. Very unhappy with Bosch service. I will never recommend Bosch appliance to anybody.

Purchase Bosch Refrigerator B22CT80SNS. Did not work out of box. Repairman added coolant and worked for about 10 days. When refrigerator quit cooling repairman determined coolant leak inside of refrigerator and non-repairable and Bosch was to replace. When I called them in a week to see why I had not heard anything they said that they were no longer making that model and had no comparable model to give me so would in 4 to 6 weeks come out and pickup non-working new refrigerator and issue me a refund check. Of course by that time will have been without a working refrigerator for over 2 months. Also, I had a kitchen remodel done based on all new Bosch appliances, two of which had cosmetic damage in addition to non-working refrigerator upon delivery. So now even though Bosch cannot provide me with a refrigerator, I have other Bosch products that they will not take back so after a $50,000 plus kitchen renovation I will have mixed brands of appliances in my Kitchen with un-matching handles/hardware. I asked if Bosch would just take all of their appliance back and provide refund and I could start over with a brand that could provide a working refrigerator of course they refused. NEVER BUY BOSCH PRODUCTS.

My husband and I had to replace our Dishwasher 3 times due to the lock not staying locked. We are now looking at Dishwasher # 4. I am not happy. It is time to do recall on this model. Silence Plus 50 DBA. Picture is me keeping door closed so my dishes can get washed. How can you be called the best when this happens to your customers so many times.

Bosch 1000 rpm 6kg 15 Prog Classixx. I like Bosch products because they last well. Theyre expensive to buy, compared with other brands, but cheaper in the long run (and therefore also better environmentally). The reviews for this product were good as well, which is always a big factor for me. I wanted a general purpose model, which is why I chose this one. I didnt need anything special as I dont do any specialist washing (very dirty or extra large items, for example). Ive had this washing machine since October 2004. I dont know whether or not this model of the Bosch washing machine range still exists, but I would recommend it simply because the machine has always performed well and washed satisfactorily, its about average cost to run (slightly better than that, actually) and its never broken down in the eleven plus years Ive had it.

I dont recommend the Bosch stackable dryer. Drying sheets is a pain since the dryer rolls them up in a ball; if you dont shake them out every few minutes, the inside stays damp. The sensor doesnt work, so you have to keep adding time to the dryer. And things take much longer to dry than they should. The dryer I have is new; I was very happy with my 15-year-old dryer and thought a new one would be an upgrade. I was very badly mistaken.

I had a Bosch refrigerator for many years and was very happy. I recently had to renew the fridge and opted to buy Bosch again, however I am very disappointed in the new design. Shelves are not the right distance apart (not allowing the stacking of such things as 2 yogurt pots) thus wasting lots of space, putting a huge draw in place of a door shelf, door shelves with a cover, the freezer is much smaller than the previous even though the external dimensions are the same. The new fridge makes lots of squeaking noises. Your designers are IDIOTS. I will be looking at another manufacturer when I change this fridge.

Good job of cleaning cloths and uses very little water. Easy to use, even a guy who rarely washes clothes can figure out how to use the many features. Also it spins fast enough to get most cloths fairly dry.

I purchased 3 Bosch appliances less than six years ago - 2 ovens and a 5-burner cooktop. When deciding on the purchase, my appliance dealer assured me that Bosch produces high end appliances. We went ahead with the purchase and paid high end prices too. Now, less than six years after we bought them, all 3 appliances are malfunctioning. Its so strange - almost like they have a pre-ordained life span from the manufacturer, because they all broke within the same 4 - 6 weeks. We have been trying to get them repaired through Bosch service for over a month and they are dragging their feet and giving us a horrible runaround. What a shame! I dont think I shall ever purchase another Bosch appliance nor recommend them to any of my friends or relatives. The customer service reps are lying to us, changing their minds, changing their strategies, not calling back, making offers then going back on their word... Its all horrible. I regret the day I ever bought Bosch.

Long story short, I bought a 500 series Bosch and after 2 months it started malfunctioning. I must say Bosch Customer Services did try to fix it by replacing two computers and a pump, but it still malfunctioned. They finally replaced it after numerous calls, service calls and emails. I bought a different brand. Bosch did call me back unprompted by a call from me to see how things were going and even after it was replaced, I got a call from one of the managers about problems with a dealer refund. I found them to at least care about their customer to go out of the way to assist me. As for the product and I have had Boschs before, it was a lemon. Previous bosch dishwashers were great and my niece even has the same one I had but hers worked beautifully. After an 8 month ordeal, I dont think I would buy one again, but its only because I dont want to ever experience this amount of hassle again over anything.

We bought a Bosch dishwasher for about $700 shortly after the 2009 recall (dishwashers bursting into flames due to electronics issue). We thought that the quality issues were limited to a single electronic component, and previously the company had a good reputation. The dishwasher cleans dishes, so we should be happy, right? In the past year, the control buttons and the plastic countdown window have popped out one by one. Today is my second round of DIY repair. The reason for repeated button loss is now very clear - the front fascia panel is made of a thin panel of ABS. This is not just a decorative panel - the stress of door opening with every use is applied to the panel, which is now cracked. Because of a design flaw, the cracks propagate right into the button area - so I no longer have a way to keep those buttons from falling out.Parts are available on the Bosch web site - only $86 plus shipping for the fascia and the missing button. The replacement panel will have the same design issue as the original, so this may buy me a year, 2 years or three of intact dishwasher. For environmental and financial reasons, I expect a dishwasher to last about 15 years. I am very disappointed by the substantial repair time and cost caused by an under designed appliance part. The model number is she45m02UC/53 and the part of doom is panel-fascia 478810.

I used to be a happy Bosch customer. I had a Bosch dishwasher for 10 years and liked it so much that I even recommended Bosch to my friends. Last year I bought a 500 DLX model. From the beginning I could see that the new machine did not clean my dishes as well as the old one. I have done everything the manual suggests and I am still dissatisfied with the performance. When I called Customer Service today the woman was not at all helpful, especially when she saw that I am two months past my 1-year warranty. I strongly object to the warranty starting when I purchased it. It was installed on Jan. 22, 2015, so it has been in use less than a year. It looks like I am stuck with an inferior appliance and I will not recommend this brand to anyone ever again.

My Bosch front load machine is now 18 years old. My husband replaced the brushes 12 months ago himself with the help of a YouTube video (otherwise we would have had to get rid of it). Im impressed with its longevity. The only ongoing problem I have is that tiny bits of muck somehow enter the bowl and stick to the clothes; this particularly happens when the load is small. I then have to rewash the clothes.

I bought my dream kitchen’s appliances all BOSCH on July 8, 2013: the worst decision!!! The microwave does not heat evenly! I use the MW primarily to heat a cup of milk. I set it for one and a half minutes, and what happens? It scorches the top of the milk, to the point it boils over the cup while the bottom of the cup is warm at best. I called their customer service, had a technician come and his response: The MW is working properly... please refer to page X in the user manual where it says to stop the heating midway through and mix the liquid for optimal heating. Really? I think a cheapo MW does better. That is plain wrong! I had never had issues with any other MW... and this is what they say? This is ridiculous. DO NOT BUY BOSCH period. I thought I was making a good decision, but I regret it every day. Having odor issues with an 800 series dishwasher. Stick to GE! It could be all made in China, but at least its a product used by the masses, and as such statistically the number of defects will be very few. And price wise... theyre almost the same.

A lot of time and $$ spent trying to purchase a new motor control module. Not Available! Anywhere. Sent mine out to be fixed - not able - parts not available. We now have to throw out a perfectly good washer and dryer stackable unit (3 yrs old) because of the part. Has anyone else had this problem? What a waste of money! (let alone the environmental aspects). Off to spend $2,000.00 - not on Bosch!!!

Good washer.. overall.... but was very surprised I am forced to put the blue rinse fluid in it or it will not operate. The pegs that hold the dishes are oddly spaced on the bottom rack and have little flexibility and it is often hard to put dishes and pans in there. Also frustrating to have 2 removable silver trays.. replaced it with one large one. Wish there was one for the top rack instead as the problems with the bottom rack leave it with fewer items.

My Bosch electrical stove’s glass surface has broken in 11th month after buying it. The Service told me that is end-user fault and guarantee does not involve the glass (which is the half price of stove). If you do not planning to use your stove buy a Bosch :), otherwise you will keep paying to Service each year I guess.

I have a stainless Bosch model SHX43R55uc/64 and it STINKS like no other even cheap dishwasher I have ever owned in my entire life!! I am looking to replace it due to the SMELL, it cleans the dishes well but the smell in the unit after the wash is enough to choke a sanitary worker. It smells like dead animals. I take a turkey baster and remove about 4 full basters full of water out of the bottom below the filter that if left there gets putrid, then put some bleach in it but fear that my dishes are being washed with bleach. I had a repair man out and he said, Nothing you can do about it thats the way it was designed!

Overall the stove is a good unit. However, cleaning it completely is difficult because it does not allow you to remove the power knobs to perform a complete cleaning. In addition, the heat elements are not consistently on, regardless of what setting you place them on. They will stay on for a short period and then turn off for a few minutes until such time that it feels it should come back on to that setting. The unit is a little pricey, around $800 for a cooktop. There are no frills extras on the unit, very basic in fact. You need to be careful as to what you use to clean the top or surface; very easy to remove the black coating if done with a wrong cleaner.

This wall oven - much like all appliances these days falls on its own sword - it is too complicated for its own good. This oven has a control panel with loads of stupid features, timer, Sabbath mode, clock (with year, month, date - who cares!!!) and so on. Its just an oven! Nobody needs that stuff. The control panel is the root of all thats wrong with the oven - if Bosch had just made the oven with power on off, temperature dial, light switch and convection fan on/off, Im sure itd work forever. Not now, the control panel has always been wonky, insisting on setting the time before you can turn on the oven! Now it refuses to accept time changes, thus rendering the oven inoperable. Lunacy. Im throwing this oven, not buying another Bosch.
