I bought a Bosch gas stove 5 years ago for $1500. For the last few years, I was having trouble with the settings, but they were not interfering with cooking, so I ignored it. Now however, the pilot went out, so I had no heat in the oven and NONE of the settings are working properly. We were told we would have to get a whole new panel.

Bought a Bosch refrigerator from Floorcraft Appliance in San Francisco Ca in December 2016. I installed it in my new kitchen in March 2017. Within a few weeks noticed that water was pooling under the bottom cheese drawer and freezing the drawer in place. I had several service calls to flush the line. The last technician noted that the defrost drain line was freezing up and also noticed that the freezer drawer rails were installed incorrectly during manufacture, preventing complete closure of the drawer and recommended replacing the entire unit. Three months later and still waiting for that replacement fridge and the freezer drawer wont close because of a massive ice formation on one side. Now leaking water onto the floor and frozen food thawing.

We moved into a new house with new bosch appliances: fridge, stovetop, speed oven and oven. After only TWO years of use, the speed oven digital display is dimming and will need to be replaced with a part for $150, plus labor. When I contacted Bosch, they would not replace the part. The words on the stovetop are already peeling off (Front, Back, etc.) and the buttons on the icemaker are finicky and need to be caressed to work. The dishwasher doesnt clean any better than our old appliances, the stovetop takes forever to boil and the stainless steel finishes are so hard to get clean. I cant make applesauce on the stovetop because the lowest possible setting is too high and burns it (this may be a reflection on using gas instead of electric, weve never had gas before.) I will never intentionally buy Bosch appliances ever again! Our old cheaper appliances were much more reliable. Not worth the cost!

I have had several problems with my freezer since I bought it. I have sent it to service several times. Its parts have changed several times. But after 2-3 months, we are in the beginning. When they last came to service, they said it is a flaw and its guarantee ended and they wanted 450 YTL to give me a new one. I didnt give it. I couldnt trust because I have given money for the repair several times. It doesnt work and I cant eat anything at home. Please give attention to my problem and give me a new one as soon as possible.

I used to be a happy Bosch customer. I had a Bosch dishwasher for 10 years and liked it so much that I even recommended Bosch to my friends. Last year I bought a 500 DLX model. From the beginning I could see that the new machine did not clean my dishes as well as the old one. I have done everything the manual suggests and I am still dissatisfied with the performance. When I called Customer Service today the woman was not at all helpful, especially when she saw that I am two months past my 1-year warranty. I strongly object to the warranty starting when I purchased it. It was installed on Jan. 22, 2015, so it has been in use less than a year. It looks like I am stuck with an inferior appliance and I will not recommend this brand to anyone ever again.

I bought a Bosch stainless steel dishwasher in December 2012. Today, 12/2017 my dishwasher has rusted down the front. Bosch says it has not rusted through (water coming out) so it will not be repaired unless I want to pay the cost of a new front. I will never buy another Bosch product - my dishwasher that was replaced by this one was over 20 years old and had not rusted. I wish I had it back!

Do not purchase the ventless stackable washer/dryer. It takes about 3 hours to dry a small to medium size load and they are still damp. The dryer gets really hot on the outside to the point where it is dangerous. Bosch is horrible about returning calls and responding to questions. I furnished my entire house with Bosch. The refrigerator is incredibly slow at making ice. They have no answers. Disappointing company. Should have purchased a different brand.

Before upgrading my kitchen appliances, did search on BOSCH Kitchen gas cooktops, found one had good reviews, after buying from LOWES, within few months, knobs getting hot, and even hotter once we cook more and more, both right and left hand side were getting extremely hot, even above we used to have microwave, under and handle both were getting so hot, unbelievable... we started getting burned 10 to 15times a year, I called Lowes, told us to contact BOSCH directly, I gave several terrible reviews so new customers stay away from this product, this is the most terrible product of BOSCH made, as last week, my wife got really burned by her finger tops try to turn-off the steel knob, and she got really burned for weeks, couldnt touch or grab anything from that finger. Today I am complaining to company and many others NOT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT. This is Worst product...that you cant imagine!!Thinking to hire lawyer and sue the company so, they will take this matter seriously and for other new customers not to invest in this non-safety, disaster product ever can come into the market to sell. MODEL: NGM8054UC /03. Serial: 931000088. - Wish this can help others to stay away and can save lives (if minor kids/adults/seniors -ALL touching the knobs in the house).

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BOSCH!! Poor customer service and bad products. I installed all new Bosch products for my remodeled kitchen 3 years ago. I noticed rust stains on my dishwasher about 2 years ago, and they became worse and worse to the point that friends who came over asked me why my dishwasher looked like that. Bosch customer service told me that they can only give me 50% off a new panel (and charge me additional for tax and freight), and I would have to pay $129 for the cost of their installer. I bought an oven, microwave, dishwasher and stove from them, and this is all they could do for me! They said to use a rust stain remover, and implied it was the kind of products I was using that caused the rust! I told them I never saw stainless steel rust, and this was the only appliance that was rusting. If you google other sites, many customers indicate that the materials in their stainless steel was not good. In addition, my cooktop had to be returned because the stainless steel near the burners were turning brown from the flames. Another product defect, and they had to replace my cooktop. Very disappointed in their customer service - the company does not support their products or their customers! BEWARE!

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher model SHE45M05UC that was delivered in Augus
I purchased a Bosch dishwasher model SHE45M05UC that was delivered in August 2009 from Freidmans Appliance in Pleasant Hill, CA. I had my last dishwasher, a Whirlpool for over 20 years without a single problem. Freidmans told me they were out of stock of the model that I originally ordered and substituted in the SHE45M05UC. I ordered the model just below this one. I noticed after I began using it that the rack continually got stuck even when I pushed it in very carefully. This caused many of my dishes to break when they clashed against each other as the rack jammed. I have a stack of cracked and chipped dishes, and have suffered a lot of damages. Freidmans did nothing to help me when I reported it to them. I didnt live in my house or use the dishwasher in 2010, I am the only one who uses it and I only run it about once a week or so. I also reported the problem to Purcell Murrays showroom in Brisbane and talked directly to one of the owners about it and he failed to replace the dishwasher. About a month ago towards the end of June, all of a sudden a huge amount of suds came poring out of the dishwasher as it was running. When I opened the dishwasher it was full of suds and full of water at the bottom of the dishwasher. I called Freidmans and spoke to Shannon who told me she would call Bosch service center to see what could be done and she would call me the following day. She never called me. I left several messages for her yet she failed to return my calls. I recall back in 2009 when I talked to Steve, the man who sold me the faulty dishwasher - he never would return my calls and he refused to exchange the dishwasher when I reported the fault with the rack that always sticks. I went into Freidmans yesterday to follow up because Shannon had failed to call me as she said she would and had not returned my calls. The salesman Steve had a little smile on his face as I discussed the issue with Shannon. Shannon again said shed call me the next day which was Monday, yet she didnt call the next day. Today I called for Mathew **, the store manager, just as I did back in 2009. Mathew does not ever return calls. I was told by Shannon that Mathew would call me in a few minutes and now one hour later he has not called me. I called a couple of times asking for Mathew and he would not come to the phone. I have used the dishwasher no more than 200 times in the past years and most of the time it is only half full and I run it on light. Now it does not work at all!! You dont want to do business with Freidmans in Pleasant Hill, CA and definitely dont want to purchase Bosch appliances. I know there is a class action lawsuit against Bosch for their washer dryers and I bet there are enough consumers with dishwasher problems to support a suit for the dishwasher defects. Bosch does not support or stand behind their products and Freidmans doesnt either. In fact I have never experienced such inconsideration for customers as I have at Freidmans. They are just about making a fast buck and could care less if their customer is ripped off. What do you say?

I purchased this washer to replace a failing stacked washer/dryer combo. I bought the Bosch set because the dryer is ventless and this just fits my townhouse better. First off, this washer is designed to plug into the back of the matching dryer (Only one 240V outlet is needed!) So far so good with this washer's results. It is very quiet and efficient. The matching dryer, while ventless still dries VERY well. I am surprised as Bosch's claim of only 8% slower than a vented dryer seems to be very accurate. This washer is designed to fit 10-14lbs of laundry per load and I can attest this is accurate and is efficient while washing and drying. The dryer will take some getting used to and messing around with the proper settings but once you figure it out it's a cinch! This is an absolutely GREAT product.

I bought a Bosch refrigerator French Doors Model B26FT7 2 1/2 years ago. In less than three years, the refrigerator has failed three times. We purchased a Bosch dishwasher after research for top brands. To make a long story short, just after 3 months, we had problems with the bottom rack staying on the track. All the wheels eventually came off one by one, we put them back on but they still kept falling off. So we bought new wheels, still, the rack never glided or stayed on its tracks. We now have to lift the full bottom rack and place it inside the washer. The wand (attachment for water) comes off during the cycle EVERY time no matter if anything scrapes or touches it during the cycles. The third rack (silverware) rarely cleans anything unless they’ve been hand cleaned before going in. Never ever have I spent so much money on an appliance to have it fall apart and dysfunction after 3 months. Customer service was so unwilling to handle the first wheel issues, that attempting a refund was daunting. I’m not sure if Bosch cares if the appliance works at all, or if maybe they just sell “pretty” appliances to people who don’t cook.

The first time we had Bosch out for a recall issue with the door. They repaired it and re installed the dishwasher crooked and out of level. I called them a week ago re draining issues and had to wait a week for them to come out. I received an e mail from them telling me they would call the day before or the morning of the service call to narrow the time slot down a bit. This made me happy. No call yesterday or early this morning. I called them and they said they would check into it and call back. They called back and told me the service guy hurt himself and was not coming. They said not to worry, they can have someone out in a few days. This would be a second day I would have to take off work, I could have purchased another new dishwasher for the 2 days I need to take off. Do not buy Bosch appliances, terrible appliances and worse service.UPDATED ON 11/02/2015: On Oct 6th I sent in a review about how bad Bosch dishwashers are and the service was even worse. Since then they sent a service tech from an outside organization out and the service person said the line was clogged, not a dishwasher problem. I asked why the dishwasher just stopped mid cycle and would not go any further including pumping water out. He said to get rid of the air gap loop the hose up and connect it directly to the disposal and all will be fine. I did as he said and not only is it against the national code, but all is not fine. A Bosch compact pair (each 24 inches wide) has been great for 15 years, and the dryer just died, and I replaced it with this unit so I could still plug the old Bosch washer into the dryer for power. Bosch is only making ventless dryers now, and I bought this against my better judgment because the reviews of the ventless dryers have been terrible. Bosch apparently went to ventless because of new regulations about lint fires in ducted dryers. This dryer is great! The automatic sensor is adjustable for different levels of dryness. It is faster than the previous vented Bosch dryer, and the clothes come out perfect. The fact that the washer spins to 1200 means the clothes are already pretty dry. If your washer does not spin at 1200, that might explain why clothes would take a long time to dry in this dryer. The condensation unit at the bottom of the dryer drains into a hose which empties into the same drain as the washer. (If you have a 3 prong outlet, the manual shows how you can rewire the dryer for a 3 plug cord, or you can replace the outlet) . Some warm dry air is emitted from the dryer and we use it to help heat the house when it is cold. Why waste this source of heat? In the summer I will direct the warm air into the garage or turn on the exhaust fan in the laundry room. In short, we are thrilled with this dryer. We have only had it a short time, and hope it will last as long as its predecessor.

Two years in and just out of warranty, it needed a $300.00 repair because water was leaking out the bottom. Now, two years after that, it wont stop draining, even with the door open. The stainless steel front of the range oven (which must weigh about 5 lbs) which covers the entire door came off and almost broke my toes. The range trim plastic piece which holds the glass onto the oven front broke. We had Sears come out to fix it and they said it was loose and screwed it back on. Then the glass front again fell off, luckily when I was not there. Then we bought $200 worth of new plastic trim pieces and screws from Bosch authorized dealer. Again, the front of the heavy stainless steel door came off. Now, Im just throwing this horror range oven which wants to cut my toes off. Plus, it gets light use from us two empty-nesters. Then about 2 months ago, the glass panel on the oven door just plain fell off! (How can anyone make something that just sits there and then falls apart!?) Luckily, it didnt break. Upon investigation, wifey found a screw in the storage drawer but there are 3 screw holes holding it on via bottom brackets. Looked to me as though the other 2 screws had never been put in. Not only I, but my PhD Mechanical Engineer son-in-law, could not figure out how to get the panel back on... After fooling with it for 2 weeks, I finally bit the bullet and pretty much disassembled the entire oven door to get it back together. During this ordeal, the plastic strip on the top of the door also broke. It now awaits my precision application of super glue to fix. Havent done that yet just because Im sick of fooling with the thing. I will say that during this deal, I called the Bosch hotline for some expert advice, and the guy I spoke to was as friendly and compassionate as any of his breed I have ever dealt with. But even though we both had the same web page in front of us, he cheerfully admitted he was clueless as to how to get the panel back on. All he could suggest was replacing the entire oven door, even though he agreed that that was overkill for the problem which compared to the Bosch dishwasher we bought about a year and a half ago (i.e., now out of warranty)... well, I only thought I knew what an appliance problem was until I met the Bosch SHE3AR5XUC!! It will not drain completely. The detergent will not dispense. The dishes will not dry, let alone sanitize. It is noisy... It is a **. According to my web-based research, I can take it apart and see if something is stuck in the pump impeller, and take more apart and replace or somehow fix the detergent dispenser... Oh, yeah, thats me. Like so many other posters here, we felt pretty good about ourselves having a kitchen with so-called high end appliances. Instead, we feel as though we got suckered into thinking life would be a breeze with the wonderful Bosch stuff in our all-electric dream kitchen. I intend over the next few days to visit the big-box retailer we got our D/W from and state that the only remedy is total replacement. I doubt they will go for that. I will then go to another big-boxer and buy a new D/W. My advice to anyone who has read this far and is considering getting a Bosch anything... your life is too short and your time too valuable to roll the Bosch dice.

The tumble dryer was not working properly, not drying the container button
The tumble dryer was not working properly, not drying the container button kept flashing even though the container was not even a quarter full, and then the handle broke. We call Bosch with the same problem (under warranty) months ago and the engineer said that he could find a fault - he admitted that the handle (top) was broken but did nothing about both problems. Today, we had an engineer coming and all he wanted first was his call charge. He refused to look at it and did not have a spare handle to change despite our phone call to make sure we wont waste time on this. We refused to pay because when weve spoken to Bosch we said that this was an existing problem, and of course now our warranty had run out. Weve spoken to a Supervisor and said they could not do anything and could not find our previous call and existing problem. Very angry with them. All our appliances are from Bosch. WE WILL NOT BE BUYING FROM BOSCH ANYMORE AND WILL PASS ON THE BAD EXPERIENCE WE HAD TO EVERYBODY. Do not buy from Bosch, they will try to rip you off like us once a problem arises. They wait until the warranty runs out to make you pay whatever they can.

We bought this Bosch Dishwasher less than a year ago to replace a previous Bosch Dishwasher which lasted 11 years! Our experience with the last dishwasher was excellent, dishes, cutlery, cleaned impeccably. Not so with the latest one bought from Lowes, a Bosch 300 Series 46-Decibel Built-In Dishwasher (Stainless Steel) (Common: 24-in; Actual: 23.625-in). Cleaning of all dishes and cutlery is inconsistent, with some not properly cleaned, lingering odor at times but livable. Weve had the unit serviced twice, first time the technician replaced the water pump, the second time he basically said there was nothing wrong with the machine. We called Bosch and initially they were empathetic and indicated they would escalate our situation and possibly replace the unit. But after they received the technician service orders, they advised us that Bosch would not replace the unit. So basically we are stuck with a lemon dishwasher that doesnt perform well with no recourse. Needless to say we are very disappointed with this type of service and indifference. We were Bosch Dishwasher fans, not anymore!

I have had my Bosch dishwasher for two years now and I am very happy that I chose to spend a few extra dollars to buy a quality product. It is by far the best dishwasher I have ever owned: excellent cleaning, quiet operation, easy loading, and energy efficiency. My only quibble is that the beeping notification at the end of the cycle is loud and insistent until the off button is pushed. I would disable this alarm if it were possible.

Didnt clean anything. You had to wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. If you rinsed the dishes they would come out dirty. There was no difference in the normal wash to the heavy duty wash or even quick wash. It was a regular sized dishwasher, 22 inches wide I think. Stainless steel showed every water drip fingerprint and pet nose print. It was pathetic. No assistance from Bosch for its warranty was useless. Changed the motor and no difference. Only thing it was good for is to be run over by a loader to flatten it.

Bosch refrigerator problems. Bosch 800 Series B26FT70SNS /04 25.9 cu. ft. French Door Refrigerator has issues and failures. The first issue is the crushed ice maker. It does not crush all the ice as my old GE unit did (or any other brand I have ever used). The Bosch unit only breaks some ice cubes in half, others it only will chip a corner off and only a few seem to come out mostly crushed. The lack of ice crushing has been confirmed by Bosch as normal for this unit. If you like fully crushed ice and not almost complete ice cubes mixed in with it, I would not recommend this refrigerator. The next two problems are more serious. Firstly, after swapping out the ice maker with a new unit to try to solve what we now know to be an unsolvable problem, the new ice maker unit has failed completely; it no longer makes ice and of course it is now out of warranty. I wrote an e-mail to the Bosch representatives who helped me the first time with this problem however they did not respond to my e-mail. The second failure is much more critical. The refrigerator intermittently stops working! Occasionally, the Bosch Series B26FT70SNS stops getting cold! Thats all the darn thing needs to do and it fails doing it! Ill come home to a puddle of water on the floor, the food in the freezer is thawed out and the refrigerator is warm! After cycling the power by turning off the circuit breaker sometimes it will start working, and sometimes it starts again by itself. I lost food and had to clean up a mess.I wrote another e-mail to the Bosch representatives about the ice maker and cooling failure, but again they did not respond to either of my e-mails. Because the Bosch representatives have been unresponsive on these last two problems it tells me that they do not want to get involved with defective products or product problems.Because I went with all BOSCH products in my new kitchen (Double oven, cooktop, range hood, dishwasher, warming draw, refrigerator) I am now terrified as to which product may fail next and the difficulty in communicating with factory representatives. I regret my decision of selecting all BOSCH appliances. As of this posting I have not heard back from Bosh.Based on my experience with multiple failures of my Bosch 800 Series B26FT70SNS /04 25.9 cu. ft. French Door refrigerator I cannot recommend purchasing this unit.

We bought a Bosch oven 4 years ago. The self-clean function didnt work the first time we tried as there was something wrong with the door hinges. This wasnt under warranty. We always found that the oven took a long time to cook things, but didnt really give it a second thought. There was also a mystery screw that magically appeared in the warming drawer one day. 9 days ago, the glass on the door spontaneously exploded into thousands of pieces while baking at a relatively low heat. We called Bosch and scheduled service for last Wednesday. Needless to say, they refused to accept responsibility as we are beyond our warranty period. As I took apart the glass, I discovered that the missing screw was one of the three holding the glass panel in place. This should never have just fallen out. I also noticed that the door closes much better than before. We are now 9 days without our oven and there is no sign of a Bosch technician! When I spoke to the Bosch rep, I asked how to register a complaint. He referred me to their web-site - but it only allows for 250 characters. Clearly, they dont want to hear about any problems. So much for expecting that a high end company might be interested in quality. Clearly, I wont be running out to buy any more Bosch appliances.

We have had 2 warranty claims and repeated problems with the cleaning performance of the machine. For the past year, we have complained and Bosch blames that the poor cleaning is due to the removal of phosphates from detergents. Purchased new in 2004. Main range burner (right front) never did feel right, rough to turn and if you put it to the wrong spot (nice light simmer), it would go out, but the gas would still run. New Years Eve 2007, the oven burner quit at about 3:00 in the afternoon, part way thru cooking a massive prime rib roast. The electric starter came on and glowed, the gas valve opened but the oven burner wouldnt light. Phoned the dealer (Midland Appliances) and asked them for help, they told me that they could have someone out in about two weeks. Since I was in the middle of preparing a dinner for 10, I finished the roast on the BBQ. It didnt turn out that well, since its hard to cook outside at -20C. Took it all apart the next day and determined that the orifice was plugged/blocked so I cleaned it out with a needle file. About once or twice per year, ever since, same problem. Orifice fouled, and the gas doesnt flow. Eventually the electric starter failed, so I replaced it. Had to order from an outside vendor, as per manufacturer website. Part was delivered, oven back in operation, regular orifice cleanings (and failed meals) continued. In 2011, the main range burner finally failed. It was on and when I tried to turn it down, something broke internally on the shaft. Had to shut the gas off to the entire unit, because the valve wouldnt close. So we are without oven or range. No parts available in our city, again, so I had to order from the outside vendor and have shipped. Five days total without an oven or range top. Many meals outside of the home and many take out meals delivered. New valve installed and the same rough feeling as the original valve. I am probably going to have to replace it again in a few years.November 29, 2013 my wife calls me at work, oven not coming on again. Okay, have to pull the oven out again and clean the orifice, I guess?? Well not this time, now the valve for the baking half of the oven has failed. Electric starter comes on, voltage changes to the valve, but the valve doesnt open. Order the valve ($161) from the outside vendor, four days later it arrives, two hours to install and the oven is back in operation.December 21, 2013 (yesterday) and were having family for early Christmas dinner. About 1:00PM, I turned the oven on to start our turkey and the electric starter glows but the gas valve doesnt open. I hear the solenoid for the starter click and it glows and about a minute later I should hear the valve for the gas open but I dont. Turkey is back in fridge, called the local Chinese take out place for ($185) worth of food. I will pull it apart again on Wednesday (Christmas day) but I suspect that the (new) valve is defective. And on, and on, it goes.Other observations: Well the fit and finish on the visible parts of the oven are quite nice, the guts of it are a mess. Screws dont line up with hole, many are stripped or over tightened. The sheet metal is of the lightest gauge possible and often wires are installed and poorly secured. The adjustable legs dont secure very well and as a result every-time you move the unit, it has to be re-leveled. The unit appears to be made in Mexico, and the range valve was also Mexican made, so I guess its goodbye to German quality.Long and short, this range has been very problematic and I will NEVER buy another Bosch appliance, small or large. And since I am a vengeful sort, I will probably not buy/install Bosch vehicle (starters, alternators) parts either.

My Bosch Front load Axxis was delivered with a broken drum, there was no evidence of shipping damage. Upon starting the first load water leaked onto the floor and damaged a new floor. The drum was replaced by a Bosch authorized repairman. After attempting to start for the second time, the front panel showed an error code that indicated a faulty control panel. At this point I had the machine for 1.5 months and have never done even one load. Overall the stove is a good unit. However, cleaning it completely is difficult because it does not allow you to remove the power knobs to perform a complete cleaning. In addition, the heat elements are not consistently on, regardless of what setting you place them on. They will stay on for a short period and then turn off for a few minutes until such time that it feels it should come back on to that setting. The unit is a little pricey, around $800 for a cooktop. There are no frills extras on the unit, very basic in fact. You need to be careful as to what you use to clean the top or surface; very easy to remove the black coating if done with a wrong cleaner.

So here is the review after one month of Bosch Refrigerator usage. 1. Received a faulty Refrigerator. The technician who visited for the demo did not know anything about the product apart from where to store the vegetables as if we have never had a refrigerator before. Since my LED was not working and when asked the technician his answer was This fridge has no LED or any lights. Anyways called Bosch called me for the confirmation of Demo where instead complained, they sent a technician to fix it and I observed that this guy did not even know to to open the LED panel. After experimenting he was able to open but he had got some other lights which were not compatible to this fridge, 3 weeks later again a technician visited who again experimented and failed to fix the LED and left with the Refrigerator complete useless as the cooling had also stopped. Now after all this after a month call to Bosch who promised what not, We will put this on Priority, Urgent, within 24hrs. Bla bla bla. Four days today and no technician has yet visited. Overall a poor brand in terms of service. Would not recommend. Have been using Samsung for years and no complaints and also the customer support is quick and reliable.

After 40 years, it was finally time to purchase a brand new washer/dryer set. Since I had lived in Europe, I had a high opinion of Bosch appliances and choose Bosch as my brand (Model #WFMC5301UC 16-496151) for both the washer and dryer. It was a huge mistake. Two years after purchase, I had to replace the entire front door, which wouldnt close properly. Now, the same door has a crack at the base (even though I gently lift and close the door from the base for each use) and the water slowly trickles down to the floor. The same is true of the dryer door -- two cracks across the top of the plastic. I called Bosch and the replacement cost would be half again as much as new appliances, which, of course, will be worthless. I was told that 5-10 years is all the one can get out of a top-quality appliance. I will NEVER purchase a Bosch product again. What pieces of junk!

I purchased a dishwasher from Sears about three years ago. It worked well for a few months, then began shutting off after a few minutes. It worked sometimes and sometimes not. I contacted Bosch who said they needed the original receipt. I always keep my receipts but of course.... So Sears printed me up a copy with all of the information on it. Of course Bosch would not accept this receipt as proof of purchase. I had spoken with someone from Bosch several times both by phone and email. They told me who to contact to repair. No one would return my calls or even want to travel to repair this expensive dish drainer. I even contacted people who repaired appliances and when I said Bosch - they didnt want to work on it. Of course last week I found the original receipt, and since I know they didnt care then, they wouldnt now - I am sure. I thought it was good to try to keep your customers happy, but I guess they dont mind bad product reviews. I will never purchase a Bosch again. After about 2 years, the pump/motor went out and the cost of repair is approaching $500 plus labor. Bosch, when contacted by phone, said it is out of warranty and we were on our own. One would reasonably expect a reportedly high-end product, lightly used, to last longer. And if for some reason it failed, one would reasonably think that the manufacturer would provide some type of support to make the product work (as designed and advertised) at a reasonable cost to the consumer. Note - this is a $600 dishwasher.

We bought our Bosch dishwasher in 2012 because we heard they were the best from the salesman (I think it was because he got a spiff for selling that brand that month). I am sorry to say that the dishwasher is leaking due to a defective valve. Bosch customer service claimed our dishwasher is “old”. They also state that their dishwasher life expectancy is only 10 years now. Hmm. My last KitchenAid dishwasher turned 15 years old when we sold the house and the owner said it went out finally after 20 years. My GE at our other house is still going strong after 14 years. Bosch is not what it use to be and their customer service manager is rude. When a company has it in the back of their head that their appliances are pretty much done at 10 years that says something about their philosophy behind building them. Just saying.

We bought a Bosch gas range four years ago. I did the research and consumer reports said it was the best. Within the year, the front door wouldnt close completely. We had the company we bought it from come and fix it; it was still under the one-year warranty that time. Life was wonderful, except that the front knobs were a little loose from the heat that had been escaping with the door not closed. When the new hinges failed (again, less than a year after being installed), I called the store again, and had them come back and do it again. They gave me a hefty bill for it, which I disputed, since it was only a matter of months since it had been fixed. The one-year warranty was only from the date of purchase, so I paid it.Last summer, the door started its migration from the frame once again so, being the clever ** that I am, I propped the door shut with a kitchen chair. We really struggled to shut it enough for Thanksgiving dinner, and hadnt used it since. Our Vermont Castings gas grill was our primary cooking device--everything from apple pie to ziti--ever since.I bit the bullet last month and had them come again. They did half the work as they had to order a door repair kit (obviously, we are not the first to experience this). Now, with the new door kit and replacement knobs, we are looking forward to another 10 months (hopefully) of having an oven. Our broiler hasnt worked since it was fixed, but I havent complained about it because I cant afford to.

A lot of time and $$ spent trying to purchase a new motor control module. Not Available! Anywhere. Sent mine out to be fixed - not able - parts not available. We now have to throw out a perfectly good washer and dryer stackable unit (3 yrs old) because of the part. Has anyone else had this problem? What a waste of money! (let alone the environmental aspects). Off to spend $2,000.00 - not on Bosch!!!

I have been a longtime owner of Bosch appliances in every home we own with no issues in the past 20 years. I down sized and moved into a new home. I decided to change out the refrigerator first. I love the new refrigerator with French doors and one big drawer below. Upon delivery my appliance was DOA. It tripped the dedicated breaker in the garage. We plugged it into other outlets in the kitchen to check to see if it was the outlet. They took it away, the rep was very arrogant saying that it was a problem with our electric in our new home. The distributor asked if we could have an electrician check out. The electrician said that we would need to something that he can not and would not do for us. We needed to put an old style non-ARC breaker in for that dedicated outlet. The retailer brought it back on Tuesday the following week after my husband installed a Non-ARC required by code breaker. It works. So we needed to break the electrical code to keep this appliance. The electrician said that their refrigerator and DWs have that issue. In the country they are made, they do not replicate the electrical supply with breakers like we have in the US for testing and this problem is known by the reps, distributors, and the company. I would love to see them do something about it. We have an electrical code for a reason. ARCs have been required since about 2013 or so. You would think they would have corrected this by now. All of my other homes were not new- last three so it was not an issue with the breakers. You choose.

We bought a set of Bosch washer and dryer that was rated top of the line. We have had nothing but problems for 2 years. Of course we paid top dollar expecting top performance. We have had servicemen out too many times to count. Each time the problem was fixed it really never was. We called repairmen approved by Bosch, called the Bosch hotline, etc. The washer does not clean the clothes properly. They still stink no matter what kind of detergent or fabric softener we use (we have tried them all). In addition, the dryer does not dry. It takes 3 hours to dry one load. We have to start the dryer and then let it cool down and repeat. With a family of four, this does not work. We will be junking these and getting good old Maytag.

We had a long power cut yesterday. My washing machine was working at the time of the power cut. When the power came back on again the machine showed a warning light that indicated there was a problem with the motor. I tried the Bosch website and found a section about self-help and put in the model number - it was not recognised so I contacted Bosch customer service. I explained the problem. They were supremely UNHELPFUL; said I needed an engineer and offered to book one with a £95 call out. I searched online how to reset my Bosch washing machine after a power cut. The instructions were simple and took about 20 seconds to complete. SHAME ON YOU YET AGAIN BOSCH. Previously I had tried to buy new baskets for my Bosch dishwasher but at £126 EACH I did not!!! They are OUTRAGEOUS.

The washer has a beeping alarm and an error 12 directly after the warranty expired. Currently, there is a moaning sound and it takes over two hours no matter what setting you place it on to finish a load of laundry. I was just disappointed because I thought I was upgrading.

We purchased our Bosch Nexxt 500 Series washer on 7-10-2007 and within a few weeks noticed that our laundry smelled musty and that the whites were no longer white. The smell worsened to the point where I hold my breath when using a washcloth as I wash my face. When I called Lowes I was reminded to use only one tablespoon of high energy detergent, use Affresh Grit Grabber to wipe down the door gasket and the rubber boot of the tub and keep the door ajar. This same information was provided me by Bosch Consumer Service. I also run an empty load with vinegar/bleach every couple weeks. The door stays ajar at all times except when running a load of laundry. There have been times when so little water enters the machine that the laundry comes out still dry in areas but the worst is the bad smell of our laundry. I am so very disappointed in my waste of a thousand dollars and embarrassed that I still have this Energy Efficient washer but dont know where to turn.

DO NOT BUY BOSCH!!! My kitchen renovation required a replacement of the brand new stove. The dishwasher was replaced at least 2 times, and thereafter required service and at the present time is noisy. The refrigerator required several service calls and replacement of the ice maker, as whenever I needed ice, there was none, or the cold cuts in the refrigerator were frozen, or the vegetables in the drawer were frozen. It is too frustrating. In the beginning, Bosch was accommodating, however, there is no assistance whatsoever although I was assured they would be there to assist with the refrigerator. Unbelievable experience. WILL NEVER BUY BOSCH AND RECOMMEND ANY OTHER BRAND!

I bought an entire Bosch kitchen last summer. I was cleaning last month and noticed rust and pitting on the door of the fridge. I called Bosch and they asked me to send in pictures to file a claim, so I did my best to show the pitting in the pictures but the surface glare made it difficult. About 2 weeks after I sent in my official claim email I get a response (the initial receipt of the email said I would hear back within 5 business days).Bosch informs me that rust is a surface cosmetic issue and not covered under the warranty so I call to ask if they saw that there were holes in the stainless door. They said it all looked like surface rust and could be cleaned off. But they were willing to give me 25% off if I want to replace the door. I spent about 10 minutes talking before asking for a supervisor. Talking with the supervisor I was able to get them to send a technician to diagnose if there are actually holes. May 17th: technician confirms that there is uncleanable pitting in the stainless steel door.Today: May 31st (2weeks since diagnosis) I get a call that they will pay for the parts of the door as a goodwill gesture but not for the labor of the replacement. So they admit that their product is bad but wont actually pay to replace it, instead trying to frame it as they are doing me a favor. Absolutely horrendous service, to admit that the door is flawed and provide a new door but make me pay for the labor to replace it (~200$). This has officially been the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. The representatives were defensive and unwilling to take responsibility for their faulty product. I will never again buy a Bosch appliance and Ill also be sure that no one else does if I can help it.

I did not believe that I wouldnt have to scrape and rinse my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, but with my new Bosch I had to suspend my skepticism! It does a marvelous job! It is also incredibly quiet - there are times that if I didnt know I had started it running, I wouldnt believe that it was.

Have had 2 Bosch Dishwashers in the last 20 years, only reason for two, well we sold the 1st with the house in Florida, then when we moved to TX, gutted new kitchen, installed all new appliances and Bosch was one of them! Knock wood, never have had to have either of them repaired in the 10 years of having both! (Ten years on each BTW.)

My 4-year-old dishwasher has not given me clean dishes or silverware from day one. I always need to recheck each item and then rewash almost 3/4 of everything. Also I need to play with the start button many, many times before it starts the wash cycle. Two neighbors with Bosch machines (one about 900 dollars) are very dissatisfied. The next time I need a appliance, I hope to be smart and read the reviews first then do the shopping.

After spending $1,700 on the initial unit, an extended warranty, multiple repairmen visits and two magnetrons, our 14-month-old Bosch microwave caught on fire and is now deemed irreparable. Extended warranty people say we have to collect from Bosch. Bosch says we have to collect from extended warranty. Getting the run around from them both. We had this microwave installed for just over one year when we remodeled our kitchen, including creating a custom built-in location for this microwave. We now have a giant hole in our kitchen island and have been fighting with Bosch and the warranty people for months.Thankfully this diabolical machine didnt catch our entire house on fire. But nonetheless this product is a HUGE safety hazard and it should be pulled off the market (and poor suckers like those of us who purchased this machine should be compensated). We have filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General and asked to be included in a Class Action lawsuit that was recently filed. Protect your home and family -- do not buy a drawer microwave from Bosch!!

Absolutely love this stove. I use the convection more than anything because it seems to cook more quickly and food tastes better on this function. The stove top definitely heats up even on low knobs so be careful! Always start stovetop on lower settings especially if you have expensive pots and pans! When you are cooking in oven, be sure to press Kitchen Timer and not Oven Timer or the oven will automatically turn off after your done cooking which is nice but I always use Kitchen Timer button so that I don’t have to keep reheating the oven if I am cooking more than one dish or if I need to continue to time items on stove top. The depth for dishes is larger than my last stove but not as wide no complaints but just depends on what size pans your using. I love it!

We have a top-of-the-line Bosch dishwasher. The performance is unsatisfactory. If I wanted to clean my dishes before using the dishwasher, why would I need a dishwasher? A single speck of food will be transferred to another item as well as retained on the original item. Would never recommend Bosch.

I moved into a condo last April and the drum is already broken on the dryer. Theres clearly no user error involved, but Bosch is charging me $400 to fix it because they only support their products for 12 months. Its very likely that the drum was already cracked in the first 12 months and even if it wasnt, I advise people to avoid any company that refuses to stand behind their products. Run from Bosch!

When I had to replace the dishwasher that came with my home when I bought it, I wanted an excellent product and was willing to pay for it. I chose a Bosch from a local appliance dealer. While I havent had mechanical issues like many reviewers, the performance of this very expensive dishwasher is dismal. The dishes do not get clean or dry, and there is often a strange biological-type odor after the cycle runs. I will never purchase another Bosch product.
