800/5000. With a kitchen set at Brandsmart brand Frigidaire, 5 months later the refrigerator started to have problems, a noise that came from inside the refrigerator, call Frigidaire and they sent a technician 8 days later. This technician changed the ice maker first and said that was that, the second day followed the problem, the technician has already changed, the refrigerator has changed and the problem is the same, now I call them and says that when the technician comes the refrigerator does not have a problem, they are a scammer and thieves company, the customer service is pessimistic, always buy in Sears and the truth never I have problems, just because I went through this store and saw the prices, but it is not worth paying more and they treat you as if you were a garbage, Frigidaire is a company **.

I bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator with over $200 off and the unit will not cool below 60. The freezer goes to -20 but not the food area. I was told to try all kinds of tests like unplugging the unit, wait 5 minutes, plug it in and turn the thermostat all the way up, then down, then up again, then down..... all to no avail... From new Lowes wants to send out an appliance tech to fix my new fridge. No, I just want my money back. I will buy anything other than a Frigidaire.

Door handle broke on refrigerator. Freezer ok. Company replaced with 2 handles. New handle broke again. I replaced with 2nd new handle and called company as I have extended warranty. Was told warranty does not cover cosmetic damage. Took handle off freezer door and put on fridge door, which also broke. My wife and I are in our 70s & we couldnt abuse our appliances if we tried. Im sure you have had an epidemic on broken door handles on this model. I might add I was treated rather abruptly and dismissively when I called. I chose not to renew my extended warranty for obvious reasons as I plan to move off in another direction.

I purchased a Frigidaire french door refrigerator in July 2013 from Sears. In December 2013 it was fixed. In March of 2014 and now wont work yet again in July 2015. My response from Sears and Frigidaire is to spend 335$ for an extended warranty on a refrigerator that I have already spent $1700 on and many hours to Sears customer service or lack thereof. Now I have to toss this out like a toaster. Here is a tip, dont buy from Sears and do not purchase any Frigidaire appliances!!

We manage a few properties and at one point ordered a few Frigidaire refrigerators. Three of them never worked upon arrival. I was thankfully able to get two of them replaced after several calls with the distributor because frigidaire refused. It has been a year and I still cannot get the third one fixed or replaced. I have had numerous calls dropped with their customer service, countless promises to have the item fixed, and even more promises that they would bring the needed parts to fix it the next time. I will NEVER purchase one of their products again for the sheer sake of how atrocious their customer service is. I hope you should never have to call their customer service, because after waiting on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes (there is no call back option), you will likely get someone who you have to re-explain the entire scenario to, they will still not understand, and your problem will still not get resolved. At this point Im likely to just throw away this refrigerator instead of wasting more time trying to get them to fix it. I was just on the phone for over an hour, they refused to give me a manager and the call surprisingly dropped. This has happened a number of times before when I have had issues and I never received a call back. 0/10 would recommend.

Bought a refrigerator from Frigidaire, only had the product since June 5, 2019. Here it is July 26, 2019 and I find rust on the front doors of the product. I called and get told that “rust isn’t covered under warranty”, are you freaking kidding me!!!! Well, looks like I’ll never buy Frigidaire products again. By the way, since when does stainless steel rust in the first place???? Sounds like some shady BS going on..

My children were asleep and my husband and I were getting ready to get to sleep ourselves. He decided to go downstairs and get some water. He came back up and told me he smelled smoke. We both went downstairs and tried to find where the smell was coming from. Our kitchen filled with smoke, we decided to wake up the kids to get them out of the house. He pulled out the refrigerator when he discovered thats where the smell and smoke coming from. Shortly after that, the bottom of the fridge burst into flames. We used a fire extinguisher and luckily got the fire out. We contacted Frigidaire and their response was that there wasnt much they could do since the fridge was 10 months outside of the 1 year warranty. Even after we had one of their techs come out AND verify the part that burned/melted, they continued to say it was outside the 1 year warranty. They offered to replace the part that burned if we signed something saying they were not liable for anything.

I had a lemon of a fridge. They paid for labor to have it looked at then told me I would receive a new one in 10 days. After 10 days I had heard nothing. They will not call you back or offer to even help just throw you in a circle to talk to other people. Long story short 3 1/2 months later I personally had to drive to a shopping facility to get my (installed fridge) because they couldn’t ship without more paperwork from Frigidaire. Taking to Frigidaire they said waiting on my payment that they already had. Do not use Frigidaire. I will never recommend them with the headache it caused. I should of just went and bought a different brand.

Model # - FRsss2323AS0 or O Serial # -4A14107574. Order number for missing parts: ** waiting on shipment since Feb 25, 2022. Where is the tracking number. My mother has been waiting on missing parts for her new fridge since January 2022. I have called a few times just to simply get the tracking number for the order shipped out I was told on February 25, 2022. They have all the details on file from the specs as to which parts are missing (deli tray 3,4,5 which is specs 48,49) and (Crisper tray 49) as well as a fridge logo. This was covered by Mykia, she told me that the order was held but never go back to me as to why it was held. I spoke with Ann who told in early Feb. She told me by Feb 25 2022 the missing parts will be shipped. I spoke to Sirena told March 14 she hung up on me and but told me she would place me on hold to go retrieve the tracking number, enter hang up a dial tone. Someone either did not do the reorder for the missing parts or the shipped is still not out yet. Either way when a customer calls if the CS rep does not know the answer as to why the order hasnt been shipped or cant even provide the tracker number for the missing parts, this only means people are slipping on the cs service skills. From January until March 14 2022 my mother is still waiting on missing parts. WHY? Can I get a order tracking number without cs reps hanging up or just the honesty of what is really going on here. Tomorrow I will call back and just request to speak with a supervisor or manager because these are simple questions that only require simple answers. WHERE IS THE TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE MISSING PARTS???

I have been trying to contact Frigidaire about a problem with the ice maker in my less than one year old really expensive French door refrigerator. I have never gotten anyone on the phone. I finally got the company, Lowes, to send someone out to look at the fridge. They contacted Frigidaire and they said they wouldnt fix it and that its working properly. Im in tears over spending $2,000 on an appliance that is crap from a company that is cheap and wont answer their phone. I have no idea what to do at this point.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator 2 weeks ago. From the moment I plugged it in it started making loud sounds from the coolant pump. Ever hear whales under water? Followed by knocking sounds like somebody knocking on your door. I thought maybe a couple days would help get the coolant circulating & the sounds would diminish. They did not. After contacting Frigidaire Customer Service they informed me I could call out a repair service & if they did not find anything wrong I would be charged for the call. Since the unit does do what its supposed to what would there be to fix, sounds? So I tried to return it to the store only to be 7 days too late for returns after only 2 weeks! I gambled on Frigidaire & lost! $500 is not easy to come by! DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE!

I have a Frigidaire refrigerator that I purchased a few years ago model number frt18qrhw. This refrigerator has been nothing but trouble. I had the compressor changed and I always had water inside the fridge. The last time I had someone come to fix it, he found a wrapping that was not removed from behind the coil had worked its way down and blocked the drain hole therefore the water could not run into the cup and down the drain and it was coming inside the fridge. Someone forgot to take that piece of wrapper out when they installed the coil. I am very disappointed with Frigidaire and I will never buy another product made by them. I kept the piece of wrapping that I removed from the freezer for proof.

I purchased a Frigidaire Professional Refrigerator in Aug 2015. Since then, I have had the same issue over and over again. The bottom ice maker will work once it is replaced for about a day or two then it stops. This is still going on today 01/30/2017. They have made several major repairs to the unit. Nothing has worked 100%. All the company seems to want to do is replace the bottom ice maker. It is clear that the issue isnt the ice maker. A tech just came out this past Monday and replaced the compressor in the refrigerator and he put a new ice maker in as well. After 1 day, the ice maker stopped working again. I called the Lowes warranty department and they said unless a repairman deems the unit irreparable the ice maker doesnt qualify us for a replacement. It was on factory warranty for 1 year. They also told me that those repairs do not count under the extended warranty. So it is like starting over all over again. My husband believes that they are trying to ride this out until we either give up or the warranty runs out. The current repair company has been out 6 times and 7 will be Monday 02/06/2017. Based on the information I have received from the repair company they have not gotten paid because the issue still exist. I have no control over that. I have been in constant contact with the repair company talking with them concerning this issue. I have been very cooperative and understanding. This whole issue is way out of control and the company doesnt seem to care about the customers or the products that they sell.I would never purchase another Frigidaire Product again. This one was my first. It will certainly be my last. I have been very unhappy and dissatisfied with the products performance and the customer service. I would very much like for an attorney to contact me over this issue.

In November 2009, I purchased Frigidaire Professional Series All-Refrigerator (17 cu. ft.) $975 and Frigidaire Professional Series All-Freezer (17 cu. ft.) $1,005. These are units that are designed and capable of being built in. The units were not delivered until January 2010 (as requested). They were manufactured in December 2009. In August 2012, less than three years after manufacture, the freezer failed and could not be repaired. A freezer full of food was lost. Frigidaire no longer made the 17 cu. ft. units. Although the warranty had expired, Frigidaire gave me a $1,045 toward the purchase of the only viable alternatives, that is 19 cu. ft. units that could fit into my pre-existing cabinet hole. The two replacement units cost me $3,128.89. I paid $500 for the units to be installed as the cabinets needed to be refit. In May 2013, ten months after the replacement purchase, the refrigerator failed. A refrigerator full of food was lost. After lengthy communications, including writing a letter to Jack Truong, the CEO, and working with Kimberly**@electrolux.com (706-651-7904) a third-level customer service representative after 5-6 days after three service repair visits, Frigidaire agreed to replace the unit at no cost. I was also contacted by Rita**@electrolux.com (706-651-7011) as a result of my letter. Frigidaire will provide me with up to $150 for installation of the new refrigerator. To date, I have paid: 975 Original Refrigerator 17. cu. Ft., 1,005 Original Freezer 17 cu. ft., 3,128.99 Replacement Refrigerator and Freezer 19 cu. ft., 500 Refitting Cabinet Costs and 1,045 Frigidaire credit toward replacement purchase. Therefore, after less than four years, for two Frigidaire Professional Series appliances, which I purchased with the reasonable expectation that they would last at least ten years actually more like 15-20 years, I have paid out (after deducting the Frigidaire credit) $4.563.99 plus lost all the food in two appliances. The original units cost $1,980, so I have paid more than twice the cost to date.Frigidaire is very comfortable with this situation and believes it has been overly generous. All the exchanges were polite. I certainly would not buy another Frigidaire product. I did try to get Frigidaire to take back both units at the price I paid ten months ago so that I could purchase appliances from another company. It refused. In my view, Frigidaire should stand by its products. No one purchases such units expecting them to fail within such a short time frame, regardless of the warranty. Thats the story.

My $2,400 fridge stopped cooling after only 5 months. I had to call a 3rd party warranty service just to get ahold of Fridigaire! They were closed 2 days after Christmas and wouldnt answer the phones. After the 3rd day I was on hold for 5-10 minutes and would be hung up on due to high volume of calls. After hours of waiting I finally got through. They did send a local technician but he is at the mercy of Frigidaire sending parts. It is the control board apparently. I had to call and was on hold for 45 minutes just to get an answer on time frame. They said 3-5 business days then who knows when the installer can get to it.I tried to file a complaint or speak to a manager and the only option was a complaint that took the man 10 minutes but said there is nothing they can do now. Going on 12 days without a working fridge now. No apology from FA, and they will not answer Twitter or FB messages. They do not have an email or chat either. My advice is to call service lines before buying thousands in appliances and see how their CS is before buying. I would not have bought from FA if I had known their products are as terrible as their service.

I purchased a 26 Frigidaire fridge from Leons on Sep 26, 2012… On March 25, 2016 at 4 a.m. our power went out and we immediately smelled a terrible burning electrical odor. We searched our whole house and the only place that we could really smell it strongly was in the laundry room where I have my Frigidaire fridge. We called the fire department as the smell was so toxic and they came in with flashlights and searched our whole home. They sensed the smell was from the Frigidaire fridge that they had pulled out from the wall, however, did not see anything. They left and advised to check around once the power came back on. The power came back on at 7 am and the smell was even worse than before. The strongest smell was coming from the laundry room. My son was standing by the Frigidaire fridge when all of sudden he heard a sizzling sound and then flames radiating from the back of the fridge.I ran and unplugged the fridge, and he ran to the garage to get the fire extinguisher (thank God we had a fire extinguisher!!!). Also, thank God the firemen had pulled out the fridge away from the wall or the whole wall and baseboards would have been engulfed in flames. We managed to put out the fire and there was so much toxic smoke we called the fire department once again to make sure that the fire was out. The firemen came and aired out our home and ensure us the fire had been properly extinguished and commended my son on his fast thinking. I have since written to Frigidaire with my complaint several days ago to call me as soon as possible and to date have not heard a word from them. Is this legal or do I need to apply to small claims court and have them charged with almost burning down my home and providing an inferior dangerous product? I tremble to think had we all left to go to work and this had happened while we were not at home, I would not have a home today and our dog would be dead! This is unacceptable and I think its time after reading all of these complaints that this company is held accountable for the product that they offering to the public and to compensate clients who had the faith in purchasing their product that they were purchasing a reliable, dependable product. Does someone need to die in a fire for them to be charged or sued? I will pursue legal litigation unless I hear back from Frigidaire soon and they compensate me for not having a fridge any longer that I depend on every day and for the frightening experience me and my family had to endure!

I purchased a new Frigidaire refrigerator less than 7 months ago. I spent $1200.00 at Home Depot on this fridge. My fridge started leaking and upon further investigation I found it was my freezer thawing out as the unit had faulted out and turned itself off. I called the number listed inside the fridge for service where I was told someone would need to come look at the fridge to determine what parts or service was needed. Then I was given the # of another distribution facility (not Home Depot) that serviced all of Frigidaire fridges. The soonest I could get service was 5 days out. I ask the friendly lady what in the world I was to do in the meantime as my wife had just been grocery shopping. She explained how I could fill up bags with ice to keep my groceries cool. 5 days later I was anticipating a service man at my house and when none showed up I was told Frigidaire took me off the list for the serviceman. Irate, I called Frigidaire to get some relief and was put on yet another list to be contacted in 2-3 business days once they could find another service provider.

First let me say that Frigidaire replaced my top mount refrigerator Freezer because it was a lemon. To sweeten the deal they sent me 2 new water filters. Water Filters last 6 months. Time has passed and it is time to change the water filter (6 months). I open the package to find the filters they sent me are the wrong ones. I call to explain that they sent the wrong filters. They explain that there is only a 90 day return policy. Why would I open an item before I needed it? Needless to say these babies are going up on eBay and I will purchase OEM filters. This is a policy they did not think out.

Received a damaged refrigerator and reported the damage to the appliance store. The damage is a bent frame behind the bottom kick plate. The appliance store contacted the distributor with no results. I then contacted Frigidaire customer service and they did not stand behind their product with a repair or replacement. Their response was that their warranty only covered manufacturing issues and that a damaged frame (bent) was not a manufacturing defect. So, when my old fridge died, I went to Lowes and found my Frigidaire side by side. I love it! The adjustable shelves in the freezer really help with odd sized objects. The basket in the freezer is great for all my frozen veggies too! And did you know that two of the shelves in the fridge side pull out so you can reach the items in the back more easily. The glass shelves always look so nice and clean and the inset shelves in both doors can be moved too! The built in water and ice maker is a lifesaver when you need a drink! Bought a Frigidaire refrigerator 6 months ago. It stopped working this past Monday. Lost all my food, contacted Sears where I bought it. They would not do anything about it. Told me to contact Frigidaire customer service. They were no help at all. Could not get anyone out to fix until 3 days later. Too late, 200 to 300 dollars worth of food that was in fridge went to the dump. They had the balls to offer me 25 dollars to help on replacing food so service tech came out on Thursday. He was very helpful, the only one had sense but didnt have part to fix so had to order part.So its going to be another 3 days for the part to arrive. They dont care whether they can help you or not. All they could say was, Thats all I can do. So anyone buying this product better think about buying any Frigidaire product because they lie about speedy service and warranty is not worth a damn. Have a $3000 + refrigerator that BOTH the crisper door fronts separated and are now unusable. First drawer broke at 18 month. Second drawer broke at 20 months. Just my wife and I, no kids banging them. They are cheaply made. Called customer service. Of course was told that it is out of warranty. One year. I tried to tell the rep that according to research this is common issue for this unit and that drawers have been replaced outside warranty. Was offered to buy another drawer that will break in 18 months. Got nowhere. Told him he left me no choice than to go on social media. Asked him to hold on so I could get some paper to write his name down. He hung up on me. Was transferred to the survey which conveniently could not hear my verbal answers or receive any keypad input so I could not leave a poor rating. They are not going to address ANY needs out of warranty for known defects with their product. Good luck.

I purchased a Frigidaire 27.86 cu ft FD REF LGH from Lowes on 10.5.14 and had it delivered to my new home on 1.28.15. Less than a year later the ice maker started dripping water on the wood floor and stopped making ice. I contacted Frigidaire who said that since it was over a year old, it was not under warranty and it would cost over $300 to repair through one of their recommended repair companies. The female customer service rep asked me if I would like to purchase an extended warranty for $500.After several back and forth calls to customer service about the situation I ended up paying $300 for a five-year extended warranty. The repair company came out, said he needed to order the part, and weeks later came out to repair the ice maker which is now doing the same thing again. The repairman said he would probably see me every year because it is a problem with these models having the ice maker in the refrigerator door instead of the freezer door. When I called Frigidaire this morning, the customer no service person was very rude and would not even allow me to speak. She kept talking over me, giving me the same repair company in my area and a warranty number for the service. When I asked her if there was any possible option to replace the refrigerator with another model, she said, No. I responded with, So, am I stuck with this high-end expensive but faulty design until I purchase another brand? She said, Yes, thats it! I do not recommend anyone to purchase any Frigidaire products. They have a serious customer service and customer relations issue, and they do not back their products. I am now still waiting for the Frigidaire authorized warranty repair service to call me back from over two hours ago. Last time I had to take off two days work for this repair. Not acceptable product.

Six months ago, I purchased a complete Frigidaire kitchen from Comeaux Furniture in New Orleans. Early last week, the freezer went out and the temperature rose to 77 degrees before the authorized service repairman arrived. Four days later, the refrigerator side went out also and the temperature rose to 70 degrees. The authorized service repairman said the mother board went out, and it would take a week for the new part to arrive. Its now been two weeks without a working refrigerator or freezer in my house with four kids. And the only thing Frigidaire is willing to offer me is $50 for food, and an additional six months of warranty. I lost about $500 in food and have to eat out every night because of their defective product. I believe that the proper thing to do would be to allow the dealer to pick up this defective unit and replace it with another one. This could have been done in one day instead of two plus weeks. Frigidaire or Comeaux Furniture will not stand behind their products. I would never recommend either one of them.

I bought a Frigidaire fridge last January. It had a warped freezer door. After waiting for months with no part availability, I was extended a buyback letter. I filled it out and sent it back before the expiration date. I’ve been waiting for the refund since September and have never received it even though it is only supposed to take a few weeks to complete. I’ve made numerous phone calls, but just keep getting the runaround. In a few weeks, it will be a year that I’ve been dealing with this. It’s ridiculous and I cannot find anyone that will answer an email or help me resolve this. I had to pay more money out of pocket to have a working fridge.

Repair company refused to give me a copy of repair - things stated to me I found were not on the report cust svc states, told freezer cap was not installed at time of delivery 12mos prior, I kept a box fan going in shed where freezer is stored, lost nearly 400.00 worth of food and leakage cleanup on floor, the warranty (customer relations) spoke to both said they would not replace food, not extend warranty or replace freezer because it was in a shed. I fail to see that on any ad or paperwork at the time of purchase - nor did the repairman say anything about locale, he did state when asked that he would put it in the report that pad was not covered at installation - he did not! I feel duped if this freezer lasts less time than the over 700.00 I paid for it.

Now, the drain is stopped up, the repairman advised this problem is common on this type of freezer (on the bottom). We have asked to returned this hunk of junk. They will not accept it either. We just bought a house that came with Frigidaire Gallery line refrigerator, and we werent sure what type water filters to buy. I called the 800 number listed on the filter housing to order more, thinking that would be the best way, to order straight from the company. In short, they sent the wrong type of filter. Their mistake, not mine, as they told me. Well... I was informed they would not refund my $86 for the incorrect order until 7 to 10 days after they had the first order picked up. It has now been almost a full MONTH and although they have had the filters in their warehouse for three weeks, I have yet to see the money returned to my credit card. Ive called repeatedly, and no one will do anything about it. They will do everything in their power to not transfer me to a manager. This is the Frigidaire/Electrolux policy on returns, and its horrible.Even the smallest Amazon retailer provides better customer service than this awful company. If youre thinking of buying a replacement part from them directly... DONT! If they make a mistake, youll be waiting a mighty long time to get your money back. I will absolutely never order from them again; and the whole experience has me thinking of a different brand when its time to replace our appliances.

My ice maker from my Frigidaire refrigerator has never worked properly. It never stops making ice unless I manually shut it off. Then it started spitting out ice all connected and huge chunks. Then one day my daughter and husband were getting ice from the ice maker and noticed right before drinking it small and large pieces of plastic in their water. The dispenser broke as the ice went through and the cracked plastic. Ive contacted Frigidaire and they try to avoid what I tell them by saying sorry your ice maker is not working. No... How about sorry my daughter almost ingested plastic sharp pieces that could have caused damage or hurt her and my husband. Do not buy this product!

Bought French Door fridge in July 2015 Model LFHB2741PF5A. Now out of warranty by 9 months. Started having lights go out on touch screen control then quit delivering ice. Have spent $700.00 dollars for replacing 2 control boards and ice maker motor. Lights now work on screen, ice maker still will not deliver ice even though ice is being made. Might as well be using ice trays. Frigidaire customer support response has been that even if I had the extended warranty they would only replace the parts and if it could not be repaired I would have to buy a new fridge on my own. No more Frigidaire appliances for me and please think twice and research before you buy.

When I researched this problem I found out Frigidaire has been aware of this problem as the unit does not have sufficient insulation. I contacted customer service. After a week of emails and providing all information requested the rep led me to believe Frigidaire would be taking care of this problem and I needed to provide my available dates so a tech could diagnose and repair the appliance. Life was good - a new home, new furniture, new appliances!!! But then Frigidaire introduces themselves into my life and the storybook tale of my dreams turns into Nightmare in the Valley! My wife and I buy a model KFHB2741PF5A stainless Frigidaire Refrigerator from their local retail outlet ($1950.00). The demon refrigerator was angry that day my friends as it decided that it would no longer produce ice! 6/13/15 Frigidaire Cust. Serv. was called and they promised to have service come on 6/16/15. Days & days pass w/ not a peep! 9/26/15 I call Frigidaire again to be told Its OK, we will send a different repair service co. to check your Frig. Well my friends, she must have heard the anger in my voice about her lack of ice production and now she begin to growl! And not the growl of a small domestic tabby who has not received her kibbles and bits on time but the guttural, rumble of feral wildcat that had been in a fight to the death with her archrival from the dairy farm next door and was now having a vet squeeze the 4 week old battle wound abbess of the yellow puss and discharge!! Yes, yes, she was very angry now and her internal fan begun to incessantly rumble, roar and hum all day and all night long! She has the consistent annoyance of Newman! Even as I pass her I cant help but to say Heeeellllooooo Neewwwmmmaaannn! (She has a name now). 10/6/2015 I know this will come as a complete surprise but still not a call, an email, smoke signal from the new service co. who was coming soon after 9/26/15. And here we are today after 32 minutes of on hold time. Now my call gets to Steph the Corporate Customer Service Manager who tells me Sorry but we just determined that there are NO service companies that will come to your home! I have officially been handed off to the Frigidaire Escalation Department after 4 months. When I asked to be transferred to the Corporate Office switchboard Steph told me Sorry, but thats not my department. So my friends, from a place of actual firsthand experience I can honestly say in good faith to you, when you see or hear the brand Frigidaire, RUN! Run as fast as you can, as far away as you can so you will not become like the story of my life. Please stay tuned for the rest of the story! It should prove interesting as to how they will assist their customer. And as far as well, you know, her. She continues to be barren of ice and to daily remind me verbally with the rumble of her fan motor the error of my Frigidaire purchase.

We bought this refrigerator and the noise of the unit is very loud. The unit works perfectly but because of its design the unit produces more noise from its compressor than any refrigerator Ive ever heard. If I knew this I would have opted for a different refrigerator. The so-called stainless steel is not stainless steel and if at any time the protective finish is compromised on inside or outside it will rust. Its not right that you can say stainless steel and the metal is not stainless steel. To prove this point you should not be able to have strong magnetic properties with stainless steel because of the lack of iron in the material and yet the so-called stainless steel does work as well as plain steel which will rust. I hope this helps other unsuspecting consumers when they meet with fraudulent marketing tactics that we all must deal with more than ever today.

I purchased this refrigerator in April of 2010, now 4 years later it has stopped working. Earlier this year I was concerned about temperature fluctuations but they always went back to normal in a few hours. I have dropped a can of soda in the refrigerator and it cracked the inside. The drawers have been very difficult to maneuver resulting in some breakage there also. Seems like very inferior materials used. The only advice I received was to place some tape over the crack. I have seen this recommendation in other comments regarding these refrigerators. Very unhappy overall with this product, cracking, breaking, temperature fluctuations and now a breakdown (BTW this happened the week before Christmas for which I was going to cook). They have spent about $880 to fix it and replaced everything. I called Frigidaire today to complain and request a new refrigerator as this is obviously unfixable. The representative told me about 6 times they would continue to attempt to fix it and their warranty is very clear that they dont have to replace it and there is no such thing as a lemon law for refrigerators. My concern is that they will ride this out to beyond the year or not correctly repair so that when the year is up I’d be stuck with a bad dispenser. They are sending the same parts they just put on and sending the tech back for the 5th time rather than admit it is a defective fridge and replacing it because under federal law they dont have to, the representative told me several times. In one year I will have no recourse and a bad fridge.

We purchased a Frigidaire Gallery French Door Refrigerator six years ago from Howards. It cost us over $2000. In October 2016, it stopped cooling and freezing and we first noticed an SYCF code. We called Frigidaire and were told to order the control board which sits behind the ice maker. The part was ordered on Nov 6 and came after Thanksgiving! I was so mad and when I called Frigidaire, they refunded us for this part because it took over three weeks to get. This control board didnt fix the issue, so we called them back. It was recommended that we call a certified technician on their list. I contacted Riddle after speaking with Frigidaire. Theyre a certified repair service for Frigidaire. I called on Tuesday, Jan 3 in the morning and their technician, Ben, showed up that afternoon. After 15 minutes, he diagnosed the problem is that the switch board with two 5 amp fuses needed to be replaced. He said that he would call the following day to give me a price for the service and labor. For the 20 minutes he was here, it was a $79.00 service charge. I received a call from Ben the following morning at 10:00 a.m. stating that the cost would be $629.20 because he would replace the switch board (that he diagnosed the day before) and the main control board (below the refrigerator). I said THREE times that youre charging me for the main control board based on an assumption you have that it wont work because the switch board doesnt work. I said that isnt right since he didnt diagnose or test the main control board to see if it needed to be replaced. He is basically charging me for a product that may not be broken. The original cost was around $350 and now with this new bogus main control board, it totaled $629.20. AVOID USING RIDDLE who is suppose to be certified repair company for Frigidaire. I called Frigidaire and explained my experience with Riddle and ordered the main control board. The rep I spoke to pulled up the specs for this model and I clearly stated its the control board which sits behind the fridge, at the top left. I confirmed THREE times because he kept calling it something else. He assured me that it was the right item. About 7 business days later, I received the item and guess what? It was wrong.I called and spoke to Juanique, corporate manager on Jan 12, 2017 (remember, our fridge has been broken since October 2016) and she returned the incorrect item and shipped out the right part. She gave me 20% off and free ground shipping because of all my issues. As we waited for the part, we decided to buy a new fridge to avoid all the headache and future issues with this refrigerator. On 2/1/17, I called and requested an RMA number. It took over 10 minutes because the rep (April) could not locate the order. Their system is absolutely ancient and wastes too much time for the consumer. My experience with this location has been NEGATIVE. The customer service reps need more training, attitude adjustments. The two managers I spoke to were very helpful and actually fixed the problems created by their employees. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE GALLERY FRENCH DOOR refrigerator (model #FGHB2844LF1). The ice maker broke two years into the purchase. We didnt fix it since we have a U-Line ice maker.

Purchased the fridge in May 2016 model # FFTR1821QW. Within a month it started making all kinds of noises. It was under warranty so Frigidaire sent someone out to look at the problem. They said it was a fan motor making the noise and replaced it. No sooner than a day later, the same noise, called again. Sent someone out, said they didnt know where the noise was coming from. Called again, sent someone else out who stated there have been several people calling in with the noises that are coming from the product and theres nothing that can be done. It sounds like someone is knocking at all hours of the day and night plus a crap-load of different sounds. Frigidaire says it normal for all these noises and they sent me a form letter of all the noises this could make. Frigidaire says all these noises are listed in the Owners Manual. DONT YOU GET THE OWNERS MANUAL WHEN YOU ACTUALLY OWN THE ITEM?Do not buy this product. The noises are loud, obnoxious knocking constantly. Every day they keep getting noisier and noisier. $500+ may not be a lot of money for a company like Frigidaire, but to its consumers its a lot of money to spend on a crappy fridge. Grating noises from ice maker FFHS2611LWMA. I selected this refrigerator b/c it was available to be delivered the next day. Now I know why! Nobody in their right mind should want to purchase this unit. Shortly after delivery, we experienced a racket beyond belief. It is so loud it wakes me up at night. We called an approved service technician, while under warranty. He stated this is just the unit. There is nothing to be done. Two letters to Frigidaire. Today after the 2nd letter, the rep. suggested I contact an approved service provider. I asked her why would I do this, when the provider operates under the dictates of the manufacturer. Therefore, I would incur an expense for no corrective measures whatsoever.... She further stated, this sound is standard for this unit. As for my experience, I have concluded...Frigidaire is aware of this loud and disruptive feature and continues to sell it to unsuspecting customers. The least they could do would be to put a disclaimer on the unit. PLEASED BE ADVISED THAT YOU ARE PURCHASING A BANGING, KNOCKING, ANNOYING REFRIGERATOR. THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS!!!

My wife and I recently purchased a new home, and the deal included relatively new kitchen appliances. Unfortunately, our Frigidaire refrigerator was of such bad quality, and our experience with the company was so poor, we felt obligated to document what weve encountered in hopes of informing others to avoid the brand. Our refrigerator was in reasonable shape upon moving into the house. Within 1 year of normal use by a family of 4, the plastic inside and outside the unit started showing fractures. Finally, random pieces of plastic, and then whole sections of shelves began breaking off.We called Frigidaire, who informed us the unit had been purchased by the original owner in 2010, so none of what we experienced was under warranty -- We were informed that the replacement price for a SINGLE SHELF was $60! Amazingly, they refused to cover the near-total deterioration of most of the plastic shelving in the unit under any sort of manufacturing defect agreement. Instead, wed be required to pay hundreds of dollars to replace the plastic shelves & moldings out of our own pocket. Frigidaire: The right call wouldve been to stand by your products by offering an apology and replacement shelves, if not for free, then at a reasonable price. Youve left a very bad taste in our mouths, and have certainly lost our trust and business.

After 9 months of frustration and three failed attempts to repair our fridge, Frigidaire replaced our unit with an identical unit. I had to request a supervisor multiple times, but the supervisor was understanding. Immediately when we plugged in the replacement we noticed a difference in the operation making even clearer that our initial unit was a lemon. I also complained on Electrolux and Frigidaires Facebook pages and they sent a $100 gift card to help cover food spoilage. Lowes protection plan also covered $130 for food loss. Since Frigidaire did give us a warranty replacement I updated my rating to 3 stars from 1, but since the process and experience were not what I expected from spending hard earned money we will not be buying another Frigidaire or Electrolux product.

I have had to call them out to adjust the doors. On the second trip I also pointed out the crisper drawers. The wheels are cracking and falling off. I was informed that those parts are not covered under my extended warranty. This was a very cheaply made refrigerator but an expensive one. It is so shoddily made. I only purchased this brand because the rest of the appliances were in the kitchen when we bought this house last year. Never again will I purchase one of their poorly manufactured refrigerator. If I want to fix it I would have to pay 187.00 I was told by the repair man. Its just over a year and half old. There are 2 people in the house over 60 so it was not abused. I have never in my 40 years have had a fridge repair. One fridge lasted over 20 years. Because it was a Whirlpool. Model Number FFHB2750TD Serial Number 4A91210068. Now I will go and post other reviews as well as file a BBB report.

Ever since we got this top of the line fridge new, Eve noticed that the ice maker is nearly useless. If you use ice then be prepared to constantly turn on the quick freeze option, which really doesnt help either, but at least you get some ice. Now though to make matters worse, the ice hopper has broken, the ice maker drips water out of the front door and spews water all over our floor every time we open the door. The ice turns into gigantic chunks, the width of the entire hopper, by melting together- I cant even open the door without trying to break the chunks by running the ice maker, and risking burning up the motor. So I ordered a replacement unit, but everyone must be having this issue because theres a nationwide backorder. Last time I buy this brand, it sure looks nice, but only if you dont need an ice maker.

I will never buy another Frigidaire product again! This brand is horrible with nothing short of cheaply made and no warranty! Major appliances should last years without any issues but not Frigidaire. This is a unit already replaced by Frigidaire now were experiencing the same ice maker issues! After about 4 months, one of the plastic shelf supports broke in half. That was replaced, free of charge. Then, when the fridge was a few weeks shy of a year old and STILL UNDER WARRANTY, one of the bins on the door broke. The plastic snapped. Frigidaire wont replace under warranty because it is considered cosmetic. I think that having a bin on the door is functional, not cosmetic. I had to purchase a new bin, wouldnt even give me free shipping. So far, they have sent me two replacements, both arrived broken. Plastic part, shipped in a cardboard box without any bubble wrap or padding at all. No wonder the parts are broken in shipping. Not sure where to go from here. Already sick of this fridge and the horrible service. Oh, and the ice maker is so loud!!! But at least it works. So far.

We have a brand new side-by-side refrigerator, a Frigidaire LFUS2613LEO. Within three weeks, it stopped getting cold in the refrigerator section. Now all our food is spoiling as I write this. This was purchased at Lowes. When we called Lowes, they informed us that there was only a 7-day return policy and that they could not send a repairman for two more days! So here we sit with tons of spoiled food, no fridge for two days and can’t return the piece of junk nor are we compensated for all the lost food. If it breaks down within three weeks, I can only imagine how long it will be before it breaks again. It is obviously a lemon and there is nothing we can do.

I bought a fridge with an ice maker in the fridge. For the first 8 months the ice maker made 120 to 150 small cubes of ice daily and worked to my satisfaction. Then the ice production dropped to about 40 to 50 cubes daily. After almost a dozen service calls the unit was replaced with a new fridge. For about 8 months the second unit worked as described in the manual making 120 to 150 small cubes in a 24 hour period. Again the ice production dropped to 30 to 40 cubes daily. This time after 3 service calls from 2 different companies I was told by Frigidaire that the unit is working properly and the ice maker is only a convenience and they have left me hanging with an ice maker that does not produce ice. The technician that came out said the ice maker temp was 28 degrees and too warm. Should be 9 degrees. Frigidaire tech support said it is working properly so I got hung out with nothing.I wrote the CEO Mr. Shaw and his assistant called me and said nothing they can do and Mr. Shaw does not even know there is an issue because he gets screened from everything. I will never purchase another Frigidaire product. A friend has the same unit with the same issue. There is a design flaw but instead of making good on it Frigidaire changed the specs and now it makes 30 to 40 ice cubes daily.

I purchased a small wine cooler stainless steel 4 years ago. I admit I didnt get the warranty but did expect it to last more than 3 years. Its been sitting in my kitchen unplugged for last year because it stopped cooling. When I called customer service the most unsettling thing about the whole situation is they didnt want to help me and really didnt show any concern that this refrigerator only lasted me 3 years. When I was done telling my story, the customer service rep offered nothing and asked if we are done. What happened to customer service?? I am the person who will be loyal to a company. Dont buy Frigidaire, Electrolux, and sadly GE appliances (all one company now owned in Sweden). My Frigidaire side by side broke after less than 5 years and the only thing they will offer me after calling twice and speaking with a manager (first supervisors name was ** the second was **) both times is 50% off (not including shipping) a part needed when ordered through them after paying for a diagnostic visit of $78. After doing my research consumers should expect a fridge to last 10-15 years. This company only want to guarantee you that their $1,000-$3,000 product will last a year! After that they believe you should pay more to protect yourself from their poor quality and unreliable product as they will not stand behind and guarantee the quality.I think this is completely unacceptable and disgraceful. And the company could care less. I asked them to allow me a credit of $78 from what I would be paying the repair man quote, towards the part as I felt that would be more fair and they refused. So after paying over $1,000 for their product that failed in less than half its life expectancy they were unwilling to give me a credit of $78 with no remorse. Also while calling for service from local repair people I asked them from their experience who are the best and worst out there for refrigerators and they said best: Maytag and Whirlpool. Worst- Frigidaire/Electrolux /GE. Remember when you shop online and look at reviews- companies pay people to write great reviews but not to write bad ones. So take special note of the poor reviews. Consumer affairs has them as a 1 star company.

I purchased my product from Best Buy in 2007. I was pleased with the product for the first few months. Over a period of time, I always smelled something burning when I opened the cooler side door, like plastic; but, I was never able to locate where this was coming from. On January 31, 2012, I opened the door for about 15 minutes to clean out the product and kept smelling burning plastic. I looked up and was in awe at what I found. The (original) light bulb, that rest on the ceiling of the refrigerator (fridge), had burned right into the lining of the ceiling. At that time, I realized this is a faulty product; this product should not be in any home. I have a repair man come out and view the fridge, and he stated this shouldnt be in my home because, this could potentially cause a fire and burn my house down, leaving my family homeless!I went to http://www.frigidaire.com/contactus and filed a complaint through email; the response that I received was a standard response any company would use to not accept responsibility and place the blame on the customer, who bought the product. The response was as follows: Thank you for contacting Frigidaire. We sincerely regret you have experienced difficulties with your refrigerator. Frigidaire provides very comprehensive warranties with each product to guard against any parts that may be defective at the time of manufacture. However, we are sure you can appreciate that a point is eventually reached when the manufacturers responsibility for repairs under the initial warranty must end.Our experience has shown that an original defect in material or workmanship will develop very early in the life of the appliance. After a reasonable period of service, many factors beyond the control of the manufacturer may affect any product. The problem experienced is almost always due to the door being left open for inordinate periods of time or from replacing the bulb with a wattage too high for an appliance application. There is a liner repair kit available that an authorized Frigidaire service provider can install that will repair the damage. Please choose from among the following authorized Frigidaire service providers that serve your area: Major Brands Appliance Service, LLC / Newton, IA / 50208-3226 / (641)831-3840 Appliance Service Center / Des Moines, IA / 50315-5072 / (515)256-3090American TV Appliance Service / Madison, WI / 53713-2346 / (800)854-6659We offer extended service agreements for all customers who register their appliances with us to guard against any unusual problems that may occur outside of warranty beyond usual wear and tear. If you would like to purchase an extended warranty, you may do so after your appliance has been repaired by contacting our Extended Service Agreement Department at 1 (866) 386-5286. Thank you again for contacting Frigidaire, BoThis, is not acceptable. I requested that they repair the default or refund the amount less depreciation, so I am able to purchase a produce that would not place my family in danger. Now, I am filing this claim along with several other regulatory agencies.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on 5/31/14 (approximately 6 months ago) from Lowes. The refrigerator portion stopped cooling. I contacted the 1-800 number and I was instructed by recording to enter my zip code. I entered my zip code and was told by the same recording that they had no service providers in my area and I would have to call a 706 area code number. I dont live in the boonies. I live in Scottsdale, which is a suburb of Phoenix, AZ. I called the 706 number and had to wait on hold for 30 minutes before the call was answered. I was told that they dont have any service providers where I live (once again not in the boonies, right next to Phoenix). They would have someone call my by Monday (I called them on Wednesday) and would schedule a service call then. Who knows how long from Monday it will take them to come out. When I explained that time was of the essence due to the fact that I store insulin in my refrigerator, it was suggested that I purchase a industrial refrigerator. I suggested that Frigidaire manufacture a refrigerator that last longer than 6 months. I was then asked to take a survey. REALLY????

When the original light bulb in the refrigerated section of my Frigidaire side-by-side burnt out, I really didnt think it was so unusual. Ill just purchase a new bulb and replace it. This should be simple. Well, not so simple. Upon attempting to remove the bulb, it would not turn. I was afraid to apply excessive force since I didnt want to break it off in the socket. I couldnt understand why I was having so much difficulty removing a light bulb. So I poked my head in the refrigerator to get a closer look. I was amazed and concerned at what I saw. The bulb had burned the plastic lining above it. The bulb was stuck to the top of the liner. After several more attempts to remove the bulb, I finally succeeded. There is a considerable amount of damage to the liner, including a small hole in the middle of the egg size crater that was created by the hot light bulb. Im not only concerned that this has compromised the cooling capacity of my refrigerator. But that it could be a potential fire hazard. Still, I continue, with increasing doubt, to replace light bulbs with increasing frequency. I just installed the fourth bulb. Please help! Am I and my family in any immediate danger from this defective product?

I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stain
I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stainless steel refrigerator (Model FFTR1821QS), manufactured in April, 2015. Within 2 weeks of moving in, on 10/23/15, the refrigerator started making a loud groaning and clunking noise and was no longer cooling. Called Frigidaire and they scheduled a service call for over a week out with one of their contracted companies. The guy came out and determined that there were 3 parts that needed to be replaced, all of which were on backorder, so they likely wouldnt be available for weeks. I called Frigidaire again to figure out some kind of resolution and get a more accurate timeline for when the parts would be in and when the repair could be completed. They were not able to give me a timeline other than one of the parts needed is expected to arrive 1 week from today.I have now been without a refrigerator for 1 week and AT MINIMUM expecting to be without for another week, most likely much longer since the other 2 parts do not have an estimated arrival date at all. The person in the parts administration department was unable to do anything further and abdicated responsibility to the customer service department. When I called Customer Service, I expressed by frustration and stated that having to wait 3-4 weeks or more without a refrigerator is completely unacceptable. After being on hold for a while, the person came back and offered me 6 months of additional extended warranty on the refrigerator which does absolutely nothing for me today. I asked for the brand new refrigerator to be replaced or to be given some kind of compensation because it was obviously a defective model if this level of problems were happening so soon.I was told that a repair and offer of additional extended warranty was all that could be done. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was connected to Danielle, corporate manager, who gave me the same lines the other person did. I asked for a replacement or some other kind of compensation again and was told that the manufacturer warranty only covers parts and labor and not replacement and that Danielle, herself, would research the parts that are needed (for the 3rd or 4th time... apparently that should give me some kind of solace that another person will do the same thing that has already been done) and will give me a call next week with an update. If the parts arent there, they arent there.Theres nothing than can be done to expedite that process. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she refused to transfer me to anyone else. It is absolutely ridiculous how little regard Frigidaire has for their customers and their experience with their products. I will never purchase a Frigidaire product and will recommend that anyone I know steer clear of them as well.

Hi. I am a Frigidaire owner of many appliances. In August of this year I purchased a refrigerator from Lowe’s. 2 1/2 months later it stopped cooling. Frigidaire sent a repairman who after speaking with their tech department decided there was a leak in the internal hot gas loop which is located on the inside of the unit and could not be replaced so they suggested he put an external part on the back of the unit that would bypass the internal unit. I asked for a replacement refrigerator because it was a makeshift repair on a 2 month old refrigerator. I was told they would not replace it and this was the best they could do. I’m very disappointed with the way this was handled and will now look for a different brand of appliance in the future!!

It appears (according to service repair man) Frigidaire ss side by side PHSC239DSBO has a wiring harness issue. It falls into the drip pan shorting it out which could cost $300 for a circuit board if that would correct the problem. He states Frigidaire knows of the problem but refused to do a recall. My neighbor and husband rewired the harness and strapped it up so that it will not fall into the drip pan again. Presto, I have power to freezer side. I called Frigidaire for help and they referred me to the service man who in turn stated the repair was out of his league. So, I called back Frigidaire to get someone else. I have yet to hear from them again. In the meantime, we fixed it ourselves. If Frigidaire had only strapped the wiring harness up to begin with, I would not have a problem. It is possible that the harness could have blown my compressor. Luckily, this was not the case. Just a piece of plastic did the job.

As a result of an inability to control freezer temperature, food in freezer got freezer burn and in fridge any beverages next to freezer wall got ice in them. Service company, Anderson Appliance of Pensacola, was very responsive and tried replacing all electronics to no avail. After replacing two boards and reprogramming them, they declared it a defective refrigerator and put me in contact with Frigidaire warranty. At first this was a very frustrating process as they only wanted to replace it with the replacement for that model which would not match the finish on the 3 appliances we bought at the same time while building our custom home. We expected that any replacement provided would have to match the other Frigidaire appliance we bought less than 6 months before.I wound up calling and getting another warranty representative who was sympathetic to our issue and immediately had the supervisor upgrade us to the only refrigerator with the same finish at no cost to us. Juanique and Matt ** were very helpful in quickly resolving our issue and following up to ensure that the vendor we bought the refrigerator from ordered our replacement and did not charge us for it. Although it took a long time to get the initial approval, once I found the right staff in the warranty department, our new refrigerator was delivered within a few weeks. We love the new refrigerator which holds its temperature in both compartments and are thankful that Frigidaire helped us resolve this issue to our satisfaction.

Bought all new Frigidaire appliances for new house in Coeur dAlene, Idaho. Right away the refrigerator broke, making the freezer side super cold and the refrigerator side hot. Model number is FGHC2345LF. Freds Appliance (supplier we bought from) fixed it. This is a vacation home, so we are not there very much. Next time we came out, the same problem. Freds fixed it again (allegedly). This happened 3 more times, for a total of 5 repairs for the same thing, under warranty. They claim they replaced mechanical parts, electrical wiring, circuit boards, etc.Of course, as soon as the warranty expired, the same problem reoccurred and both Frigidaire and Freds Appliance told us to start paying if we wanted it fixed. Paid $583 to repair it. A year later, its broken again. Now they are saying its my fault because we dont use it enough! Seriously! They say it has electrolysis because Im not there with it. We leave the house at 55 degrees in the winter when were not there, and never over 80 in the summer. These are not extreme operating temperatures. Why doesnt the state attorney generals step in? I am going to request assistance from the Idaho BBB and State Attorney General.

2 years ago I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator and paid 850.00. I paid to replace the control board with a new OEM from the manufacturer board, and this part cost me 200.00 But now just yesterday 7 months later the control board stopped working again and did exactly what the original one did. I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator back in November 2011. It had the refrigerator on top and the freezer drawer was on the bottom. The Icemaker that dispensed ice was up in the freezer section. I found a couple weeks ago after pulling the refrigerator out to investigate something that there was a chunk of ice that had eaten its way through the back of the refrigerator and was rusting up all around it. When the repairman came out, he said it was a common defect found with this model (#FGHB2844LF7) because Frigidaire had not put any sealant around the ice maker so the air from the fridge was making direct contact with the air in the ice maker and was causing ice buildup in the ice maker which built up over time. The result was that the build up of ice ate a hole through the back of the refrigerator and that it was losing efficiency. The worst part was that as the ice would melt and drip down over time, it was slowly working into the wood floor and causing it to warp. If you have this product, I would look into this to ensure you dont have the issue. The repairman said this product should have been recalled years ago.

Had fridge for three years, broke 5 times. Two different repair places came to fix it. Fresno was bad, Bakersfield was even worse. Bakersfield tech was great but said Frigidaire has a policy that they have to try to fix it even if it cant be fixed, it would take three attempts to try to fix it. The receptionist lost our or forgot our appointments as she chuckled, but thats another review at a later time. Now Frigidaire said it would take 4 attempt to fix it. Same error code on fridge, same parts repaired on fridge 4 times. I have emails from first manager stating 3 times, now today they say 4. Kind of funny, the story keeps changing. Frigidaire claims until cost-prohibitive - it cost me 1500 plus extended warranty 500 plus 300 for food that went bad over a three-week period for each repair to be completed. So Im out 2300 now, not sure what they deem cost-prohibitive.

We live in California and purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator to put in our newly built vacation home in Arizona. I only wished I would have looked at ALL of the reviews prior to choosing this brand. Our new home was ready 2 mos earlier than expected. We called Home Depot, where we purchased it from, to get a earlier delivery date. No problem... we scheduled it and traveled the 6 hours to spend the weekend and accept delivery of our refrigerator. The refrigerator arrived, installed and THOUGHT it was good to go. The next morning we realized the refrigerator was not cooling. We could hear it running but not cold at all. Long story (which it is) short.... we finally got someone from frigidaire to listen and they said they could not replace the broken refrigerator, they had to send someone out to try and fix it. WHAT???? we do not live in AZ it is our vacation home and we are already back in CA. The rudeness and lack of compassion was unacceptable, but nothing I could do. They scheduled a service tech to come out (yes, I had to find someone in the new neighborhood that I didnt really know to give my key to so they could let them in). The service tech said it was not repairable ... DUH. I gave them the date we were returning and they said no problem.... they will deliver then. NOPE. I received the automated call saying they would be there. Waited home all day. They did not come. I finally got hold of the delivery Manager and he said they didnt even have the refrigerator in their warehouse yet. They finally, after 6 more frantic calls from me, delivered a day later at 8:30pm!!!! The NEW refrigerator makes noise and you cant see the digital display that says water, cube, crushed ice) it does not light up. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ELECTROLUX/FRIGIDAIRE!!!! NO customer service.... and when you finally get someone, they are rude, or at least Sharon at Frigidaire Extension ** was. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

We were deceived, as consumers, in purchasing a Frigidaire Professional (fridge) in June 2013. In less than 3 years of normal use, the appliance broke down. Many parts associated with the low-pressure header to the heat exchanger, as well as the heat exchanger, had to be replaced. The cost of the appliance was expensive and not of quality. The cost of repair was also expensive, close to $700 CAD since it was no longer covered by the ridiculously short 1-year warranty of the manufacturer. We are taking the battle using legal action against Electrolux as we could not get any decent level of service from them or their accredited repair company (South Shore of Montreal). Not-so-professional. Be careful!

On the first week my freezer was leaking air so the gasket had to be reglued. Now, less than a year later, the handle of the refrigerator broke off. I was told it is cosmetic only, since the food is being cooled and frozen, so I have to pay $46 to have a new handle shipped to me. It will take 7 to 10 days to get it; meanwhile, my nails are breaking trying to open it. This refrigerator is very noisy also.

Bought a new French door Refrigerator and have had constant problems with the ice maker. The refrigerator was replaced by Frigidaire and now to find out the replacement was 2 years old and has the same ice maker problem. They call out repair companies that have extremely rude employees and problem cannot get resolved. Never can get the same customer service representative on the phone so have to repeat the same issue over and over.I am considering putting the refrigerator on the front lawn with a big sign on it. This will be the best advertisement. Frigidaire tells me they have a bulletin on the ice maker being bad but can never seem to find a way to correct it. All I want is my ice maker repaired so I do not have to keep buying ice and explaining why to guests. I do not feel with a refrigerator only 3 years old I should be having to write this complaint. If Frigidaire knows they have a problem with these ice makers they should just step up to the plate and make it good.

Weve only had our $1900 fridge for a year and 6 months. Its broken 3 times. Customer service has been horrible - no help or even friendliness whatsoever. We are very frustrated and disappointed. Will NEVER buy anything Frigidaire again! Youd think they would want to stand behind their product.

I never write reviews but for this company I created an account just so I can write a review. I bought a Frigidaire appliance from Home Depot. Within 2 weeks a brand new fridge breaks. Find out there is only a 48 hour return policy. Had to spend over an hour calling Home Depot and Frigidaire to get it fixed. Had to call the repairman myself. They gave me a list of 6 repairman and only 1 actually still works for the company. Takes 3 days for them to look at it. Takes 7 days for them to order the part. Takes another week for them to come back and fix the fridge. The whole time the fridge does not work. What to do without another fridge? Had to buy another fridge since over 2 weeks. Worst company ever. Try calling their customer number and it takes forever to get through. WILL NEVER BUY A FRIGIDAIRE APPLIANCE EVER AGAIN. Model # BA63823131

I purchased a new Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator and had it delivered in January of 2016. I bought it through Best Buy and the delivery was an absolute nightmare. Right away there were issues. I ordered a model with black exterior and received one that was grey and was told that the model I purchased was no longer offered in black. I agreed to keep the model that had been shipped. From the beginning the unit made a lot of unusual noise. Within the first year the water and cubed ice indicator lights quit working and the ice maker would freeze up so much in the back that the auger couldn’t turn to dispense the ice. Every couple of months I would shut the ice maker off and the ice would thaw and water would run out and down the front of the refrigerator door. It seemed to function better through the warmer months of the year. In December of 2017 the ice maker stopped working altogether. I recently called a local repair company to come out and take a look at it. I was told by the repairman that the problems that I am having stem from a flaw in the design of this particular model and that Frigidaire is well aware of that. They build a moisture barrier kit to replace the design flaw in the back of the unit. This flaw causes moisture to continuously build around the water lines, the fan, and the ice maker and it freezes causing the ice build up and malfunction of the cooling fan for the ice maker. This inevitably led to the electronic panels failing. I have been quoted by him at just over 800.00 to repair all items with no guarantee that it won’t happen again. I paid nearly 2500.00 for the refrigerator with two years of use and I’m facing an 800.00 repair with no guarantee of a repeat problem. I contacted Frigidaire to ask if they would at least be willing to assist in offsetting some of the repair cost. I asked them why, knowing that a problem existed so much so to create a repair kit, did they not contact consumers to offer this repair kit before problems like mine came about? They had no good answer for me. They have offered to send me the sweat kit that they claim fixes the moisture build up but are not willing to assist me with any further parts or repairs. So, here I sit stuck with a 2500.00 two year old refrigerator that requires 800.00 in repairs with no guarantee that it won’t happen again. Quality product and customer satisfaction is clearly a thing of the past.
