Very nice microwave for the money....lots of features. I bought this to replace a countertop microwave that did not have the handle. So much easier to open than pushing a button.
I love the stainless steel and black color. It matches my kitchen perfectly. The microwave is easy to use and heats up the food great. For me, the final test is how it pops popcorn and it passed. Pretty much all the kernels were popped and the popcorn wasn't burnt.
I like this microwave. You do have to heat things at the maximum versus minimum suggested time but that isn't an issue for me.
We got this microwave because it was the highest wattage we could find for the small space we had... and had good reviews. The microwave is very nice and performs well. The only complaint is the box it comes in is extremely flimsy. The first one we ordered came damaged. The replacement we had sent to the store, hoping it would be exposed to less shipping damage. The box was still damaged the second time, but the microwave was okay. Worth the money, but be careful of the poor packaging.
After our 13 year old microwave died, we were looking for something a lot more functional, space saving and stylish. We succeeded in all areas with the Danby Designer 0.9 Cu. Ft. compact microwave! It is perfect for the two offices (approx. 12 to 14 people) that share the kitchenette and use it for heating lunches, snacks and cups of coffee or tea that have gone cold. And the price was excellent too!
