I live in the country, in the middle of nowhere and have 2 full bathrooms in my home. I had a regular sized water heater that had only a limited amount of “hot” water. In the winter it took a long time to warm up and would run out before filling the bathtub. In the summer, it was better but we could only fill one bath at a time before running out of hot water.

Its a good water heater system and it works terrific. It was recommended by the sales associate at the store we purchased the heater at. He stated that many people who have used this were very happy with the model and the performance. It was installed by a professional so we know it was done correctly. We would recommend it to anyone who asked us about it.

Very easy to install, added two fifty amp breakers to my shop sub panel and ran two 8-2 conductors, 4 wires, from breakers to power connection on heater. I'm using a 1.5 hp pool pump to pump the water from my pool to the heater which is in the shop about 50 away. Make sure you plumb inlet to bottom fitting and outlet to top fitting. It turns on automatically when it sees flow from the pool filter pump.

We have had our Ecosmart water heater for a while and it works as if its new. There were no issues when it was installed. My experience with customer service was great as well. They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They were patient with me and they took care of all my issues and said to call back if I needed anything else. The water heats up good with Ecosmart. It doesnt take long to heat up and it doesnt make any loud noises. I wish that everything works this good and I hope we dont have to change it for a long time. It will save a lot of money in the long run. We had one before and it was nothing but problems. I wish I found out about Ecosmart and bought it a lot sooner before I found our previous one. It would have stopped a lot of headaches in the past.

So far it has exceeded our expectations and are very please with our Ecosmart water heater. We bought it out right from a local store and my husband is a maintenance worker so he is very aware of how things work and installed it himself with no issues at all. We really like our water heater because thus far had any issues with it. It heats up our water quickly and 4 people can take a shower close to one another without the water turning cold on one of us. It has worked great so far for us and we are hoping it will last us many years to come.

The new water heater is great. Better pressure and it is just all around a better buy than the old one I had since it was the old one was leaking and my water prices have got a lot cheaper. I pick this brand of water softener because it seemed to be the most economy friendly and help save on water bills even though it was a little bit higher because it was going to pay off in the long run. The plumber was great and is reasonably priced to have it installed. A man explain how to use the heater and what's up to watch for just in case something were to go wrong.

I purchased a Ecosmart ECO 18 tankless hot water heater in May of 2021 from Amazon. I installed myself to take place of another tankless unit already in home that failed. I filled out the online warranty info and submitted to company within the 30 day time frame. There was no hot water from unit the evening of December the 24th. After checking, there was one of the two heating elements that had failed. Calling their customer service line after the holiday weekend without hot water, I was informed that there was no warranty since I was not licensed. I have several years experience in home repairs, electrical and plumbing. Plus, I only replaced another unit with this new one. I have completely rewired a previous home.After talking to a different rep. she told me they never received my warranty info and since I did purchase from amazon, again no warranty. Called several times and different reps and supervisors all said different things, but all said no warranty and there was absolutely no assistance. Their web site even states unless otherwise approved and gives instruction for customer to install but says nothing about this voids your warranty. Who could approve this, all managers interacted with on calls declined. The last rep left me on hold for 38 minutes until I finally just hung up. They will not assist in a simple part failure that has nothing to do with install. Terrible customer service, watch out for the very fine print hidden on contradicting company website!!!!

The Ecosmart Water Heater has been reliable, durable, environment-friendly, and not as expensive as others. It works great especially in the winter and we dont have to worry about water heating in our house. We have no issues with it even though it has been with us for more than 4 years. Customer service has been friendly and very helpful when we called to follow up about some things after we bought the heater.

The installation was a lovely and simple process. I did not do much of anything, just stood around in my robe while some strapping young men installed it for me. Afterward, I gave them lemonade. I do rather like the fact that it had Eco in the name. I attempt to live a fairly environmentally friendly lifestyle and this helps me feel like Im adding to that goal. However, the water from this heater does not seem to get very hot. Perhaps that could be based on user error, but I have altered settings and it doesnt ever seem to get quite as toasty as I would like it to. Overall it has been a fairly decent experience. It has performed its job adequately, if not impressively, though that could be due to the capacity or possibly due to user error, as if I would ever admit that.

Our old hot water heater went out about six months ago and we picked this brand because it is Eco friendly. Its very quiet and it heats the water much faster than our old heater. I had it professional installed. We have Union Carpenter & Plumbers in our family. Its nice to know it was done in a safe and timely manner. It is a bit taller than our old heater. As it was on a stand we had to removed some of the tiles in our garage. Now it looks nice and our neighborhood thinks everyone should get one for their homes. Only had this hot water heater a short time but so far we have enjoyed it. We love our new hot water heater.

I bought the Ecosmart water heater (Eco 11 11910209) in Home Depot in June 2017. I only bought it because the company offered a lifetime warranty for residential use in Continental USA. I did not register the warranty because I did not know, and it was not clear from the package. However, I think it is safe to assume that the date of purchase does not count for a true lifetime warranty. Now the water heater is broken, and Ecosmart U.S. (aka ECOSMART GREEN ENERGY PRODUCTS) does not want to fix it or replace it for free. I am not sure how fair this is, as again, it is supposed to be under the LIFETIME warranty. What kind of business is this? Companies pay a lot of money to keep their current customers happy. Ecosmart U.S. does not care about their customers at all.

I only had this for 3 weeks before I closed my pool for the year. But when I turned it on my pool was 68 degrees and within 12 hours it was 86°. That evening it got down to 46 degrees, and when I woke up and checked the temperature it was still sitting at 86 degrees.

This is a great product, been running this for about a week on a 28K gallon pool, unit tank is built well and made out of stainless steel despite older reviews saying it is not stainless possibly older model was not stainless? also cool feature is you do not need to have all three breakers on for example, i turned on only two of three breakers, (due to not having enough power in current load center) keeping one of the heating elements off and warmed pool quickly 6 degrees a day approximately

In 2016 I purchased an ECO Smart 18 that came with a lifetime warranty. This past weekend I noticed I had no hot water and found that a circuit breaker had kicked off. I checked the hot water heater only to find a fire hazard in the making as one heating element was sparking and leaking water. I contacted Ecosmart and said my warranty was Inactive so they denied any replacement or warranty whatever that means. My advice is to stay clear of all ECO Smart products (made in China) and find a reputable manufacturer that will honor their warranty.

The instructions are not great for pool heater so I wanted to explain how it works for people that are new to heater buying such as myself. I have an intex pool and actually spent more on this heater then the pool but I wanted to put my pool in my garage and see if it would work and it did. The heater is awesome. The heater does take 2 50 amps, the package says 40 and some things say 50, we used 50 and it works, if you are handy you can do it or you will need to hire an electrician, you cannot just plug this thing in. We spent about $200 on pvc pipe, wires and stuff to get this heater working so it will cost more then just the heater. We have a sandfilter and we are able to put it on N to make the heater run faster through the pump, when the heater runs through on filtration it does not run as fast. I hope the pictures help. It took an afternoon to get it all set up. Our heater would not turn on right away and it was because the flow was not fast enough.

The unit was Installed by builders perfectly. It was in the home when we arrived and the area was spotless with no complaints or issues - we were impressed and are happy. The water temperature is good and consistent. There is always enough time for normal evening use - no leaks experienced - the family is happy. It has been Reliable.

When I purchased the water heater, the people who came in to install the water heater were very quick and the whole process was fast and easy. There were no delays and I felt that everyone went smoothly. Specific things that I like about the brand of the water heater is that the customer service is very quick and the warranty is able to be covered within two years. I really enjoy the fact that should we have a problem there is someone right there to give me tips on how to fix it and if there are any parts that I need to purchase. I really enjoy the durability that this thing provides and the amount of water that it can warm up pretty quickly. The way that it doesnt break, weve already had it for a couple of years now and it is still working fine. My experience with my water heater has been great and I am absolutely in love with this heater because it provides warmth for the water to my family and myself and everything else.

This product works very good. Not too many people were swimming on Xmas, we were :) Yes, we live in Florida, but it does get a lil' chilly. After about 8 months we are having an issue with the temp-sensor (inlet), we thought it was the control board, but no go. The reason i'm giving 5-stars is because when I call I get right through to customer service. They're very helpful and follow-up on what they say they're going to do (emails/calls/shipping etc..). We have a 18,000 gal pool and this unit brings the temp up about 1 degree per hour. It does use a lot of power and your bill will jump up, but we only use it a few months out of the year. Compared to a traditional pool heater (heat pump) that I was quoted at $4,000...this Ecosmart 27 unit is a great buy!

This water heater does what is supposed to and more. It is cost efficient and its smaller than most. Then my experience with customer service was quite pleasant. They answered all my questions and were prompt about getting me what I needed. I really enjoyed working with them. Were very very very satisfied. Im grateful they made such a quality product. It makes life much easier. It was a good purchase. I would even recommend it to friends.

I had 2 great installers. They were on time, a bit early in fact, but called ahead to make sure their early arrival would be OK. Professional yet friendly, nice & courteous. The unit works very well. The only time I had a problem with it was when my basement flooded. The pilot went out, but I quickly discovered that it was surprisingly easy to relight if necessary. I specifically like the Lifetime Guarantee and customer service is fantastic and available 24/7. It is the best water heater I have ever had and I would recommend them highly.
