New washer dryer- too complicated
I'm looking at replacing a failing old washer and dryer with a mid tier model.
Here is what I'm looking for:.
*Mid sized 4.5 capacity washer.
*Electric not gas.
*I just want clean non damaged clothes.
*I don't need a lifetime appliance.
*Should have several cycle options for delicates and things like that .
I don't care about wifi or connectivity I just want clean clothes.
I also don't need to stack them.
Speed would be great - however if the dryer is slower then it doesn't matter about a turbo wash.
I'm looking at LG mainly from word of mouth.
Short list:.
I was looking at the 3400, 3600, 4000, and 5500.
I think the 3400 or the 3600 would satisfy my needs but looking for advice if anyone has any!.
As far as I can tell the 4000 and 5500 just offer a turbo clean option which may be faster (doesn't matter for the washer) and a deeper wash.
What am I missing!? Should I add top loaders to the mix?
Models:.
Wm3600hwa.

Wm5500hwa.

Question from user Home-survivor at Appliances at reddit.
Answer:
If youre satisfied with the selections on the 3400, youll love it.
All LG models are roughly similar when it comes to their core cleaning mechanics, so if speed isnt a top priority and the 3400 has enough cycles to suit your needs, look no further.
