Looking for washer - dryer Set
Hello!.
[TLDR] need washer/dryer set but can only be from Best Buy with hard limit of $2k. Big family, 2 young kids so front loader is a no go bc the appliances are in the kitchen, don't want to wait long at all for them to arrive. Need recommendations and/or experiences with sets down below. Thanks!.
Moving into a new home and mom and stepdad want to buy us (family of 4) a new washer/dryer set, but the only caveat is that is has to be from Best Buy with a limit of $2k usd.
The issue I'm seeing is that a lot of sets are back ordered or have a long estimated delivery time (couple of weeks) and with 2 kids and 2 dogs, I'm not about to deal with that.
Now we did have a Samsung set that did us very well for 4 years in our previous home, but we left it with the house. However, to my understanding I guess Samsung is just death when it comes to appliances now😂. LG is up there but sets are delayed. GE has gone down hill after being bought.
I prefer impeller because that's what we've had before and it did the job and I'm honestly too busy to worry about mold/mildew with front loaders. Also I don't want to find my children trying to climb into them from being left open. Washer/dryer location is in the kitchen.
Has anyone had any experiences (good, bad, meh) with any of these below:.
GE Profile 5.0.
GE Profile 5.4.
LG 5.3.
Samsung 5.5.
Question from user xMozaik at Appliances at reddit.com.
Answer:
Also to note about preferring impellers, I own raw selvedge jeans and I'd rather not deal with them getting beat up by an agitator.
