At the beginning of last month I purchased a Maytag top loader smart washing machine from Lowe's.

The day after installation it was getting stuck between cycles so they came and replaced it with a new unit.

Now, several weeks later the replacement machine is stuck in between cycles.

Lowe's has told me I'm SOL because their 48 hour policy is up and I need to go through Maytag.

I'm actually appalled at how they handled this but that's another story.

I had to sit on the phone for hours to get through to Maytag and wait over a week just to have a technician come to my house and look at the machine.

They're supposed to come tomorrow to look at the machine.

I have 3 kids and can't go weeks at a time without a washing machine.

I also have no interest in ever purchasing a pricey appliance from Lowe's again do to their abysmal customer service during this nightmare.

Is there anything I can do or say to get a refund from Maytag so I can buy a different machine at a different retailer and move on.

I'm a new homeowner and don't have much experience purchasing things like this or dealing with repairs but this seems to be unreasonably stressful.
