LG front loading washing machine issue, please help!

I have had an LG washer and dryer set couple a little less than two years. It recently started sending me the OE code. When it is draining it is making a loud surging sound. After doing some research, I figured it must be my drain pump. I replaced the drain pump and ran a speed cycle. The first cycle completed yet still had the surging sound. The second and everyone since fails to the OE code.
The corrugated drain pipe isn't crushed. I recently took the door off and put it back on, but it ran cycles after I put it back on. I've ensured it is on correctly and locks. The only other thing I am thinking it could be is the drain pipe in my house may be backing up, but it doesn't explain the surging sound and I've seen no other evidence it is backing up. If y'all have any ideas, please let me know. Thanks!.

Answer:
Does your LG have the filter on the bottom of the front panel ?
