Is this minor defect concern-worthy?

We just bought a Frigidaire Gallery Induction stove and wiped the cooktop with a paper towel. Some of the paper towel was getting caught at the top right edge which was when we realized that the top right edge had a greater gap than the rest of the cooktop. I can fit my finger nail cleanly inside this gap in the top right edge, but not in any of the other sides. I would guess it's about 1mm of a gap. My main concern is about liquid leaking in through the gap. Is it worth getting our stove replaced? Any advice helps. Thanks!.
Question from user angiecyli at Appliances at reddit.com.
Answer:
Take it back! You dont want unsightly crumbs and liquid getting it there and stinking or shortening the life of an expensive appliance. This is the manufacturers problem and for the money I would want a properly made appliance I can trust to last 20 years. Hope you get it replaced, Ive never seen an appliance in any of the homes Ive lived in have minor defects like this other person is saying, sounds like excuses.
