Air Filter 
If the air filter is clogged, air cannot flow properly through the air conditioner. This greatly reduces the cooling capacity of the air conditioner. In addition, if the air filter is clogged, the evaporator coils will frost over. To remove debris from the air filter, try cleaning the filter. If it is not possible to clean the air filter, replace it. 

Condenser Coils are Dirty 
The condenser coils dissipate the heat as the refrigerant passes through the coils. If the condenser coils are dirty, they won’t be able to dissipate the heat as effectively. As debris builds up on the coils, the air conditioner will become less efficient, causing the air conditioner to work harder to cool down. If the coils are significantly dirty, the air conditioner will not be able to maintain the proper temperature, and the compressor will run continuously in an attempt to cool the room. Check the condenser coils to determine if they are dirty. If the condenser coils are dirty, clean them. 

Compressor 
The compressor might be defective. However, this is not usually the case. Before replacing the compressor, be sure to check more commonly defective components—particularly the overload protector and the compressor capacitor. If the compressor is defective, it should only be replaced by a licensed technician. 

Thermostat 
The thermostat monitors the temperature of the air. When the air temperature rises above a set point, the thermostat activates a switch to provide power to the fan and compressor. If the thermostat is defective, the thermostat may not cool properly. To determine if the thermostat is defective, set the air conditioner to cooling and then use a multimeter to test the thermostat for continuity. If the thermostat does not have continuity while the air conditioner is set to cooling, replace the thermostat. 

Control Board 
The control board regulates the voltage to the compressor and the fan motor. If the control board fails, some components will not function properly or will not work at all. Control boards are often misdiagnosed; make sure to check more commonly defective parts first before replacing the control board.

Dishwasher not cleaning 
The water inlet valve opens to allow water to enter the dishwasher. If the valve is clogged or defective, the dishwasher won’t get enough water to clean dishes properly. If the water inlet valve is clogged, replace it. Do not attempt to clean the water inlet valve—cleaning the valve could make it more likely to fail. 

Dishwasher not draining 
The drain impeller pushes water through the drain hose and into the garbage disposer or drain line. If the impeller is broken, replace it. The drain pump uses an impeller to force water through the drain hose. If the drain pump motor is not working, the dishwasher won’t drain. To determine if the drain pump is defective, check the pump motor for continuity using a multimeter. If the motor does not have continuity, or if is getting power but won’t run, replace the drain pump. Drain pumps are not repairable—if the drain pump is defective, you must replace it. 

Dishwasher buttons not working 
First, confirm that the dishwasher display is working. If the display is still working, try pressing some of the touchpad buttons. If some of the buttons respond correctly but others don’t, it is likely that the touchpad is at fault. (Some manufacturers sell the touchpad separately from the control panel. Other manufacturers require that you purchase the touchpad and control panel together. If you cannot replace the touchpad individually, replace the touchpad and control panel.) 

Dishwasher leaking 
The water inlet valve opens to allow water to enter the dishwasher. If the water inlet valve is stuck open, the dishwasher will continue to fill with water until the dishwasher leaks or overflows. If the water inlet valve is at fault, replace it. Water inlet valves are not repairable—if the valve is defective, you must replace it.

Why is my food not cooked or heated properly? 
Check if your heat setting is perfect for cooking. If it is too low, adjust it to meet the requirement. If it is not the problem, then check if the vessel is placed suitably on the cooking zone to ensure the heat passing. And please do ensure that your cooking vessel has a ferromagnetic bottom. Another thing to remember is that the bottom of your cooking vessel covers the whole area of the cooking zone. If you are using a cookware that has a low bottom circumference than the cooking zone, the vessel will not get all the heat your cooktop is generating. 

Why is my food burned? 
Read and follow the required temperature setting guideline for your unit. but still, your food gets burned. Why is that? Probably because you are using a lightweight cookware that heats up sooner than expected and burns the food in that process. To avoid such problems, choose best cookware that is lightweight and suit with the induction cooktop. 

What’s with the noise and vibration? 
If there is a soft 'hum' that you are hearing in an induction cooktop, it’s from the cooling fan inside. You can't help but listen because you don’t want it removed. If you do so, your induction will stop working after merely 6 months of buying. But if the noise is too much than a soft buzzing, it may occur for something else that is entirely not related to your cooktop. The same goes for the vibration. An unevenly bottomed vessel, or a lightweight lid or even a loosely fit handle of your cookware can induce the vibration. 

Why my induction cooker cannot detect the pan? 
The size of your pan is essential to its functioning on an induction cooker. Make sure the diameter of the cookware always matches that of the induction cooktop. When the diameters don't match, some portions of the pan are left out and results in improper heating. Likewise, when the base is too small, the induction cooker remains unactivated. Lastly, ensure you use an induction-compatible cookware. 

Why is my induction stove not working? 
It can be due to a disconnection between the cooker and the power supply. Check the power source for a triggered circuit breaker or a fuse that has blown. Induction cookers come with 'lock modes' to prevent accidents and save energy. When in lock mode, it will not work so check to make sure that isn’t the case. The display may show error codes and if that is the case always refer to the your USER MANUAL.

Diagnosing a Dead Refrigerator 
Pull out the refrigerator if needed and press the plug firmly into the outlet. Check your appliance's electrical cord for damage. Any exposed wire, kinks or cuts in the cord might make the appliance malfunction. If this is the case, do not use the cord and contact a repairman. The extension cord may be damaged or faulty. Plug the refrigerator directly into the outlet. If this solves the problem, replace the faulty extension cord. Try plugging the refrigerator into a different outlet. If this solves the problem, then the problem is with the outlet. Check the current and voltage of the outlet with a multimeter and voltage tester. If you do not know how to work these tools, contact a professional repair technician or electrician. 

Diagnosing if Only the Light Works 
Check your temperature gauge inside the appliance. If the dial was bumped, it could have made it too warm for the refrigerator to turn on. It's important to check both the refrigerator and the freezer temperature settings, because the refrigerator gets its cold from the freezer. A problem with the freezer setting will affect the refrigerator as well. Make sure there's proper airflow around the appliance. Check the space between the walls and the appliance. There should be a 3-inch (76.2 mm) gap around the sides of the appliance and at least a 1-inch (25.4 mm) gap at the top. This provides airflow needed for the machine to function. Clean the condenser coils with a vacuum or brush. This part helps dissipate heat that could make the appliance act funny. This cleaning should be done with the appliance turned off. You should clean rear-mounted coils once a year, and floor coils twice a year. 

Investigating a Refrigerator That Isn't Cold Enough 
Check your temperature gauge inside the appliance. The dial could have been bumped, raising the refrigerator's temperature. It's important to check both the refrigerator and the freezer temperature settings, because the refrigerator gets its cold from the freezer. A problem with the freezer setting will affect the refrigerator as well. Inspect the vents. Check the vents between the freezer and refrigerator and the drain tube for debris and ice. Remove debris if needed. This obstruction could be your problem. Test the refrigerator components. Use a multimeter to test the continuity of the appliances various components. These include the door switches, the defrost heater and timer, and the evaporator fan. If any of these parts fail, they could be your problem. 

Diagnosing a Refrigerator That Keeps Running 
Wait a day to see if the problem solves itself. Several factors could cause your refrigerator to temporarily run continuously. If you live in a humid environment, just loaded the refrigerator, or recently adjusted its temperature, it might take a while for the refrigerator to cool completely. It could take 24 hours or possibly more for it to cool. Defrost the freezer in case there's too much ice built up and clean your condenser coils. If there is a build of debris on your condenser coils, they won't be able to efficiently dissipate heat, and the refrigerator will have to constantly cool. If the defroster is faulty, then the evaporator coils will frost over, and the refrigerator will work harder to keep cool. Clean the condenser coils with a vacuum or brush. This part helps dissipate heat, and if it's too dirty, the refrigerator will have to work harder to stay cool. This cleaning should be done with the appliance turned off. You should clean rear-mounted coils once a year, and floor coils twice a year.
