Electronic control in door failed within the first year - replaced under guarantee. After 2 years water leaked because of a torn rubber door seal. At 3 and 1/2 years, while replacing another rubber door seal, discovered that the metal internal bar to which the bottom of the door attached had rusted and sealing screws no longer attached. Am completely disgusted with this supposed premium and professional dishwasher (actually, according to its back, made by Electrolux as is the Viking Pro refrigerator) - no one at Viking will discuss this, and at least one customer service person told me I was out of guarantee and out of luck. Will NEVER purchase a Viking appliance again! Their quality is suspect but the lack of customer support is evident.

Ive always heard Viking was the best and Im happy with my Viking fridge. But Ive had to have it serviced a few times already. The fans inside keep freezing up. Ive had to have all the warranty work done twice already and I don’t even think Ive been in this house three years yet. The first time they came out, they had to replace the fans and the second time, all of them were frozen up. But the tech was able to service the fans and got it working again. Im also happy with the customer service that the guy that I bought the appliances from is giving me. He puts me right on top of the list, takes care of me and keeps me up and running again. It is a little bit of a disappointment. I paid almost $18,000 but the guys from Certified Appliance were good.

We just bought the Viking 5 series. The grate started flaking when I first used it and left black flakes on the stove. And to make it worse the stove discolors with just the most basic use and it requires serious scrubbing to get the grime off the stainless steel part around the burner. This is absolutely not what I expected when I paid over $3500 for this cooktop range.

I bought my home 2 1/2 yrs ago with a really beautiful kitchen. All appliances are Viking and the agent kept telling me they are the best products on the market. We have the two drawer pull out dishwashers. From the time we bought the house they do not clean anything properly. I have had technicians out various times, some telling us that cascade powder doesnt work and we must use gel capsules. Even if we wash the dishes thoroughly before they dont come out clean. I need them to work as they match everything in my kitchen. My viking microwave also doesnt work properly so I just use it to reheat. This house was remodelled around 5 yrs ago and from the time we moved in it was terrible. Who needs to clean dishes thoroughly before putting them in the dishwasher to find them still marked when you take them out. My daughter has the same crockery set and has a cheap dishwasher and hers come out spotless. Please someone help me as I need everything to match in my kitchen. Viking service are a waste of time and money. Thanks.

I bought a 48 range, dishwasher, ice maker, refrigerator, beverage cooler and warming drawer from Viking 5 years ago. Everything but the warming drawer has stopped working and had to be repaired, several such as the dishwasher numerous times. I am convinced these products are the most poorly engineered and manufactured kitchen appliances on the market today! And very expensive to boot! My suggestion for anyone looking to buy new appliances for their home... STAY AWAY FROM VIKING!

We have known Viking for many years. The Viking Range was high-end quality and we wanted a commercial type of stove. We bought it from a dealer who was very nice and helpful to us. So far, the range is wonderful. The oven cooks very quickly and it’s different from any other ovens I’ve ever had. I like the convection in it. I also like the fact that we have the grate on top where we could grill. Although we bought that separately from the stove, you could grill things on it and make pancakes on the other side. The oven is sturdy and easy to clean. But Im not too happy about the shelves. They dont come out very easily and they stick out a bit. You cant get a round pizza pan in there. Also, the fascia came bent twice. It came right off the box that way. So the second time, we just had the installer push it back up. But all in all, our experience with Viking has been pretty satisfying. The oven works very well as far as cooking food.

Do not buy Viking appliances. I have the professional series, dishwasher, stove, microwave, wall oven and built in refrigerator. I have had an issue with 3 of my appliances. The oven stop working after very limited use. The recalled parts did not get it working, so now I am told it is the DSI module. I have had much lower priced appliances with basically not problems, and NEVER had the oven/stove to go out after being only 6 years old. Viking appliances just look good on the outside and a piece of junk on the inside.

I had a frustrating and disappointing experience with Viking Ranges. I chose it because of the style and cost but the range I received was horrible. The first time I used it, I turned on the burners and then I turned on the oven. Underneath the burner, it exploded into a flame so I got a fire extinguisher and put it out. I called Viking and they sent out a repairman. He looked at it and he said that the range was a total loss so they arranged to have it replaced. When they came out to replace it, they arranged the time with me.The night before the agreed time, they called me on a robocall and told me a different time. So I called them back and I said, Ive already arranged to meet at the time we agreed. They called back and said, No, we cant do that. They said that the only way I can arrange the time is to wait til 24 hours before theyll tell me when the time would be. Thats hard to do if youre working so that was a hassle. So I said, I dont know what to do because I cant meet that time you want cause Ive already arranged with my work to be the other time, which we already agreed to, well, I already made the appointment. That was a week earlier and they said at that time it was fine to have the time that we arranged. So I did, then they said they didnt have another day when they could tell me when they could come back. They called me an hour later and said, Okay, we can meet your original time. They came and replaced my range.Viking’s customer service reps were fine but their service people were a hassle because of the scheduling. The actual service man who came out was fine. What happened was very dangerous. The repairman even said that if I turned on the oven first, let it go for a long time and then turn the burner on, there could have been an explosion. But I had the burner on first and then I turned the oven on so all it did was catch fire underneath the burner. My Viking Range works fine now. Its just that I got a really bad Viking Range in the beginning.

We wanted six burners for any time that we would host the family party so a lot of thought went in for this particular range and hood. My husband made the choices and it had to be electric for the self-cleaning and gas for the cooking part. The reps were knowledgeable and they told us what was available and what we could get. My husband had one picked out and when we found out it was not self-cleaning, the rep steered us in another direction. Now were very happy with the Viking range. Were enjoying how evenly it cooks and I like how the racks slide out. We also have the Viking hood and its been working very well. Its a little noisy sometimes if we dont turn it up all the way so we have to talk to the builder and see if they installed that properly. We hosted Thanksgiving where we had 18 people over, and we pulled it off and everybody was pleased. It was the most beautiful turkey we ever pulled out of the oven! It was so evenly brown and it was just amazing. And all the food came out hot. We were able to boil water quicker than any of the other ranges that weve ever had. It also cleaned off easily by moving the racks off the top and wiping everything down. The range is so wide with those six burners, my husband and I werent bumping into each other when were side by side.

I purchased a new home with a Viking VWH3648SS professional style residential range hood to accompany the Viking Range that was installed below. It is fitted with a 1200CFM in-line blower. The package cost close to $2500 new. We use our kitchen daily for a family of 4. At the 8 year point, the lighting control knob began to loosen. Eventually, we called an authorized Viking Service provider called, Mr. Appliance They sent out a repairman who worked on the hood and seemed to have repaired the problem. But within three or four weeks, the knob came loose again. We called and the head honcho from Mr. Appliance came to fix the problem. We thought that was the end. Fast forward 5 years later and the knob loosens again. Not wanting to spend another several hundred dollars, I decided to address the problem myself. As an degreed engineer, I am not one to avoid a technical challenge.I pulled the hood switch panel apart only to discover that the switch had been tie wrapped into place. Over the years, heat, vibration and usage caused the tie wrap to stretch. The proper way to have made the repair was to remove the switch face plate which is held in place by the fan, lights and heating lamp rocker switches (spring clips). This provides access to an underlying nut plate to which the control should have been mounted using a 1/2 inch nut. In the process of disassembly, I discovered that the control thread, made of nylon or plastic, had been stripped which might explain why a tie wrap had been used. I ordered a new part for $58 and mounted it correctly, adding a lock nut to the assembly. But thats not the biggest problem. Upon disassembling the hood, I discovered inaccessible areas to be caked with grease so thick that it took a scraper to remove. This grease was checked separately as being flammable. The recess areas and sockets where hot halogen light and heat bulbs sit was particularly thick with burned grease. There were pools of liquid and solid grease in inaccessible areas of the hood that if ignited during a pan fire or electrical fire would provide fuel to burn the surrounding wood cabinets, the drywall and the exposed studs behind the hood covering. Mind you, these areas are not normally accessible for cleaning by a consumer. In my attempt to clean and repair this poorly constructed product, I was exposed to razor sharp sheet metal edges and burrs which had not been properly or safely machined during the manufacturing process. Particularly dangerous is the access holes surrounding the range hood lights where a consumer might attempt to clean only to be cut in the process. There are dozens of complaints in various internet review sites that complain about this issue in consumer accessible parts like the filter elements. Any machine shop professional will tell you that Viking Range has used improper technique in their manufacturing process which expose service people to the possibility of serious cuts.A call to Viking Range customer service resulted in the answer: We dont recommend that consumers access these areas and any tampering will void the warranty. Of course, the warranty is long expired. There didnt seem to be any concern (or understanding) by the Viking Range person of the dangerous design that Viking Range has released to the market.I have video taped my work and after I have a chance to edit the raw material, I will post the shocking videos and will be sending a copy to the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) for recall consideration. This range hood is a fire danger and a health hazard that should be addressed with the thousands of customers who unknowingly have installed this product.I would love to see responses from authorized (or freelance) service personnel with opinions on these issues. By the way, the Viking Range VGRC365-6BD commercial grade open burner gas range that accompanies this hood is just as poorly constructed with dangerous sharp edges. It is a nightmare to clean. Never again a Viking Range product.

I’ve known about Viking for quite some time. The name was pretty strong but they went through some rough patches as of recent. But I liked changes that were made after the company was purchased by Middleby. I liked the BTUs that they offered too. There werent many out there that had higher BTU. I used to have a Viking 16 years ago and the new one works just as good as the old one. We had some growing issues where they, unfortunately, tried to keep up with demand and not necessarily putting as much time and effort into research and development. But it looks like the purchase by the newer company has fixed all those issues. My range is a solid piece of equipment. So far, it’s been working fine and is doing everything I expected it to do. I like the strength of the front three burners. I cook a lot. When finishing off sous vide or doing cordon steaks, you need the high BTU. Typically, I braised pork belly for 10 hours but I like to finish it off with a really good high sear as they caramelize. The range is helpful because it has high heat to it.Also, when I had an issue with one of my knobs, a replacement knob was sent to me immediately. Overall, I had a very good experience with the company. I like the fact that Viking has a local office here in California as well so if I ever have an issue, I could always try and get on to their distribution center or their facility over here.

There was a technical issue with our Viking that led to it being replaced. It was an older model that had a very unfortunate habit of freezing over the freezer at the bottom. The customer service was quite good. My wife contacted a US service representative who referred us to a local repair person who came to our house and assessed the issue. Being that this was something that was recognized as Viking and something that warranted a replacement, he reached out to a Canadian representative who emailed us and spoke to my wife. We then signed a contract and an NDA and they replaced the refrigerator. So far, the freezing at the bottom hasnt happened with the new unit. It functions well.

Viking was the one recommended by the sales representative at Best Buy. Also, I checked some reviews online and it was so good. I wanted to try a new brand and I decided I wanted to get that one. What I like the most is that the fridge is very spacious. More than a regular one. However, I had to call Best Buy because it stopped working. We went to Best Buy and saw Viking there. We chose them based on what we saw and the recommendation of the salesperson and then compared the burners and the size that we had and that’s why we purchased it. When we first got this stove in, a piece of sealing in the oven door between the glass was loose and we had to wait for that to get replaced. There was a dent in the bottom frame. Viking wouldn’t automatically replace the stove outright. They wanted to send some service guy over and it took almost six weeks to get that taken care of. Also, the oven door does not stay shut when you use the oven. It hasn’t even been a year and now we have the issue with the oven door just popping open in between when we’re cooking. We’ve got us a service guy coming on Monday, but would prefer to have that stove completely replaced given the fact that we’ve got two service calls on the warranty.Viking keeps telling me that there’s nothing they can do and I have to call the authorized service people. Ive called their headquarters to find the name of the authorized service people, and they said even though within a number of days of purchasing, if it arrives in my house, they wouldn’t replace it which I don’t understand. Other manufacturers do it automatically. When I had issues with Sears, Id call them up and theyd give me a replacement. We would not recommend Viking based on whats going on now.

The product performance and durability of Viking refrigerators led me to purchase from them. However, I’m very disappointed and frustrated because I have a French door refrigerator, and it is accumulating a lot of ice all the time. The service in Rio de Janeiro, where I live, is very poor. There’s only one authorized dealer that does customer service and he never has the time. He advised me to change the seal rubber that goes on the door, which I did, but the problem continued. I told him this, but there was no response. I was about to write a letter to Viking because this is unacceptable. I’m also not very happy with my experience with the dealer. They sold me one model and they delivered another. I had to keep the one they sent me but I want the model that I purchased. But since they refused to change it, I ended up having received a penalty from them.

We have had Viking Ranges since they pretty much came out. We are on our third Viking Range. When we remodeled our house, my husband wanted to get me something high quality because I’m a baker and I cook a lot. So we’ve researched and thats what came up. I like the way the Viking Range looks. We also renovate houses since the 80s and we always put a Viking Range in there. We flip higher end houses and people wanted Viking look or Wolf. We bought one Wolf and I hated the Wolf. I was like, Forget it. I don’t have to buy another Wolf. Weve bought plenty of Viking Ranges. The first one I had was a gas range and I loved it. And then we traded that for a dual fuel electric oven which I hated. The oven was much smaller and I couldnt fit all my baking pans. I couldnt even fit a turkey in it. I was really disappointed in that. It also started arching, spitting and shooting flames out the vent and the top. Wed called Viking to find out if there was any root cause. And they said not that they are aware of. So we ended up going through our insurance company in getting a new one. I got the Dual Fuel Viking Range. Its the four-burner. They did change the oven so its much bigger. Ive baked four cakes already with it and its only been a month. I wish they would have had one on the floor so I could have looked at it. But most people arent caring them because theyre so expensive. The people that I talked to at Viking have been very nice. But I wish we could have gotten more information about the other one that had started the fire. They didnt seem very interested and we still have that oven. They werent also going to take the oven so we figured we just hang on to it and see. Were thinking of making an outside kitchen and just tearing the oven apart and turning it into an outside stove. They also have people who came to hook a Viking Range up but hooked up the electric cord wrong. So then we didnt have an oven for a week cause it wouldnt work. Somebody came to fix it. They replaced the cord and took it right one on and that works great.

We purchased a 36 Viking Range model #VDSC5366BSS with 6 sealed burners, sealed broiler, sealed heating element and have had three significant issues. The first, a cracked broiler occurred in the first month after installation. The second time, the broiler broke (November, 2012). We could not get a technician to fix it for weeks (still not fixed until today). Today (Nov. 21, 2012), the day before Thanksgiving, the entire oven does not work. We have called Viking, we have called the distributor (Gene Schick company) and we have called local service people but no one could service this unit. This Viking series has design flaws and should be recalled. Viking is expensive to buy and expensive to repair. My recommendation is do not purchase.

Other than the big oven door, my Viking range is great. I can put a couple of whole cookie sheets in there. Theres plenty of room to do whatever you wanna do. But the big door, unless I stick something in it, will not stay closed when we cook. It leaves a light on so I have to put something in to close it. We purchased a full suite of Viking kitchen appliances (gas range, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher), which were delivered on 10/1/2019. Since they were installed, all four appliances have required service. First, the insulated glass on the microwave door was not sealed properly, so condensation formed between the glass. Viking’s fix for this issue was a new door, which took over a month to get. The front panel on the dishwasher was damaged when it was installed, so it also needed to be replaced. The panel came with the microwave door about a month after it was ordered. The gas range - which is supposed to be the flagship product for Viking - also required repair. The oven would not ignite consistently and would fill my home with noxious gas that had to be aired out. (The service technician found that the ignitor was too far from the heating element, which is why the oven wouldn’t light.) There are no bells and whistles on this range, which I knew when I bought it, so one would think it would do the one thing it is capable of doing... lighting... and it couldn’t even do that without a service call. Now the refrigerator is sounding alarms randomly and indicates that our freezer is varying temperatures, as high as 55 degrees. There is no way to disable the alarm and it has taken more than a week to get a service call scheduled, which means my family has to endure this loud beeping that goes off all day and night. To make matters worse, we have a special needs child who is terrified of alarms so this has been particularly distressing to him. Due to whatever error the freezer is experiencing, the compressor runs so much that our food in the fridge is freezing. I have had to throw out a bunch of produce, like apples, pears, lettuce, etc., because of the extreme cold in the fridge. Given we have only had these appliances for two months and experienced problems with all four of them, I would say I am extremely disappointed in Viking’s quality. Their service has been terrible, too. Despite multiple attempts to contact someone at Viking who can help, we have yet to receive a call back. In the meantime, I’ve had to reach out to multiple appliance repair companies, the retailer where we purchased the appliances, and taken time off work multiple times to have the appliances serviced. Had I known how bad my experience with Viking appliances and arrive would be, I would’ve saved myself the trouble and money and purchased non-“professional” appliances!

Viking is a good brand. Its made in the USA and we like the look and size of their refrigerators. Ours is working great so far. The temperature control is nice and the doors open and close easily. Its like a French door refrigerator, but they dont hit each other. My sister has a Sub-Zero but its doors would hit each other if they didnt close them the right way. As with ours, the doors seem to be pretty seamless, which is good. However, the freezer in our fridge is like a pull out drawer and if I pull the freezer from one side, it gets off the track a little bit. Sometimes I have to straighten it out and push it back in, which is a little weird. Also, it would be cool if there was a water dispenser inside the fridge, though Im sure Viking has that on some of their high-end refrigerators. As for the Viking dealer, their team was on-time and they answered all my questions. They were absolutely friendly and respectful as well. It was an easy experience overall.

My warranty company has finally after doing repairs since August 2016 deemed it not repairable. You would think if you spend over 8k on a fridge you would get more than 10 years out of it. We bought top of the line Viking Refrigerator & all other Viking kitchen appliances about 6 years ago from Airport Appliances with 10 year extended warranty for additional $2K Associated Service Corp. Warranty. First year, the ice maker does not work properly & froze in the door which we couldnt use any more. Then, the water line busted & flooded/damaged our house which we had to file insurance claim. Now, it stopped working & was blowing hot air. We contacted Jags Appliance Repair 510-494-9574 who charged us $135 service call & said that compressor, serpentine, heat exchanger, evaporator needs new which will costs another $1700 for repairs (parts covered), not to mention the spoiled food. I called Airport Appliances 510-783-3494 that they cant do anything & that we should contact Associated Service Warranty that we purchased from them for $2K. I called Associated Service Corp Warranty 800-325-4363. They said they only cover up to $160 only, but the service agreement states otherwise that labor is included... I contacted Viking Bay Area Regional Manager/Sue ** who said that Viking parts are covered & can pay only $350 towards the repair, or buy another Viking refrigerator half price. (No thanks to purchasing another Viking products & never recommend this expensive piece of metal that doesnt work.) I forgot to mention that bottom metal piece is rusting too!

We have a Viking fridge, range, dishwasher, hood and a refrigerator thats great. Its so big, has a lot of space and maintains temperature. The equipment is very nice but the local representative who takes care of stuff has been very difficult to get over here to check on problems. I’ve been trying to get service for my range, but the local rep doesn’t seem to want to come out and this has been happening for about a year since we moved in.

My 3 years old Viking oven start acting up. First the broiler quit working. The igniter try to light up but no flame. Now the oven is temperamental, sometimes it will work, sometimes doesnt want to work. For a three years old oven it should not be doing this. Feeling frustrated. Spend a lot of money for a lousy quality oven. Trying troubleshooting the problem but all result fails. This should be simple to fix. There is not much electronic that goes with this oven. Just switch, gas line, igniter & thermostat...what else is there.

$21,516. That is the amount that we paid on Halloween day in 2010 for a Viking appliance package that included a dual fuel range, built-in refrigerator, dishwasher and beverage center. I can honestly say that it was the singularly worst purchase decision I have ever made. Not only has the equipment performed poorly when functioning, it is not functioning all too often. To top it off, when service is required, we endure a virtual absence of service providers in our city of nearly 1,000,000 people.Recently, both refrigerator and range ceased to function. The one service company which would service the equipment told us Ill order new circuit boards for the equipment, but there is no guarantee that will fix them. Either way, you have to pay for the boards up front. We spun the wheel and bought the boards for $1,200. I feel somewhat lucky that the refrigerator was restored to operation following the installation of a new board. Sadly, the new circuit board did not repair the range and the service tech is now suggesting that maybe the fan is the problem on the range. We have been offered another shot at the wheel for some $300… with no guarantee, of course. To be fair, we are people that paid $21,000+ for kitchen appliances. If thats where you live, you have to learn to recognize that you may be susceptible to valuing image over quality. In this case, we bought a name that has cache far greater than it deserves. Unlike a high maintenance Porsche that is awesome when it is working, this equipment is mediocre at its best and abysmal when its not. Literally better off using middle-market brands at a fraction of the cost.

I have been doing some online research for a while on professional cooktops and was looking at Viking and Wolf. I liked the style and the look of Viking and from the reviews that I got, it sounded like they provided superior customer service and they backed their products 100%. I feel that the quality is really good too. But presently, Im running into an issue because the installer didnt install the unit properly so I havent been able to use my oven. They had it plugged into a 120-outlet while my oven requires a 240. Were anxious to really try the oven but its not getting powered enough. But as far as the gas part or the top of the 40-inch range, its phenomenal and we totally love it. There is consistent flame starting off the burners, theres consistent heat, and its quick how Im able to whip up a meal. I wish I would have bought one sooner.I bought my Viking from Ferguson and I have mixed reviews for the original distributor. It seems like they didnt give the attention that they really needed to give to Vikings product. However, the people that Im working with now are trying to rectify the situation. They seem to be really on it and on top of everything. Other than that, Viking has been very responsive. Right now, Im really happy with my purchase and I would buy some additional Viking products at this point in time.

We were in the market for new appliances. We were at a store, and we liked the look of the Viking range and everything about it. So, we went that route. The quality of the range is great. Everything is what we expected. However, it took a long time to receive our product. I’m not sure if it was because of Canadian standards because we are in Canada, but the process of receiving it was quite long and dragged out. I’m not sure if that was the retailer or Viking, too. Also, I am not sure if there is a light for pre-heat because I dont see that on there, so I just guess as to when the ovens ready. But, other than that, everything has been fine.

I had my brand new Viking stove delivered on Nov. 28, 2012. I used the oven twice and, right before the holidays, around December 21st or so, my oven stopped working. Due to the holiday rush, I could only get the repairman from the store on December 26. He came, checked the stove and concluded that the spark unit needs to be replaced. Imagine that! Three weeks after the purchase, an essential part of the stove needs replacement. Today is January 7th, the store ordered the piece but Viking Company does not have it. It is on back order. The Gerhard Appliance store people have been reasonable but the Viking company has provided me with a useless appliance: a stove without a functioning oven and no part to replace the broken one. I am really angry and would never buy a Viking product again. I would like to return the stove and get my money back.

Eight years ago, we remodeled our kitchen and purchased four Viking appliances - two wall ovens, an eight-burner gas range and a microwave. We spent in excess of $10,000 on these products with the expectation of high quality and the hope that they would be life-time investments. All still function well and we have had no problems up until now.Approximately 3 months ago the lettering and numbering on the oven control panels began to come off. I contacted Viking regarding this issue and was informed that I would need to purchase new control panels at a cost of over $100 each plus the cost of installation. Not only is the problem disappointing, Im even more disappointed in the complete lack of customer care or support demonstrated by Viking. I was unable to speak directly to a Viking customer support representative, instead was directed to a regional supplier who was less than engaged or helpful. The Viking call center is a maze of transfers and the corporate office phone number listed on the web site is simply a number that directs you to the same maze of transfers and select-an-options. Viking manufactures a good product and should stand behind it with stellar customer service and support. Numbers/letters rubbing off on a product meant to last a life-time is unacceptable and Viking should be willing to rectify the problem with minimal inconvenience and cost to their customer.I suggest Viking review the customer service/support policies of other high-end home product manufacturers and implement some of their strategies. In particular I mention Kohler. We are also experiencing a minor issue with a faucet we purchased during our kitchen renovation. Upon contacting Kohler, I spoke directly to a representative who immediately placed the order for the replacement part. It is being shipped directly to me at no charge. Companies who market themselves as offering high-quality products to discriminating customers should stand behind their products no matter how large or small the issue may be.

The quality is good and I like that I can really see well in there. I’m very satisfied. I bought it from an appliance store, and I can’t say that they know what they’re doing. We did a direct replacement of our Viking because when we had it put in and turn the oven on, it wouldnt work. We had to wait three weeks because the guy couldnt come. When he finally came, he had to replace the thermostat. But it was kind of a fiasco when they came to install. The gas pipe wasnt on code so we had to redo the gas pipe and they havent come back. But the technicians have been excellent to work with. The guy couldnt help that our gas line was not right. He was trying to do the best he can to get back. It was delayed a week or two weeks to get it hooked up.We have used it for months now and its been great. Its easier to clean. It looks nice to me. I like the new knobs and that they have a little light that lights that up. Thats a nice feature. Its nice to have a beautiful, clean oven, and its gas. We have the sealed burners, which makes it nice too. Ive always had a Viking for so long. Ive always liked them.

The people at the Viking dealer were friendly and there were issues that they took care of. Altogether, they were good and shipping was great. They sent the refrigerator out quickly. I’m having a little problem with it at the moment though. The temperature is not setting the right way for some reason. It’s not matching what it says on the display. While I like the simplicity of it since I have too many gadgets, I would like to see a feature to dim the lights because they are too bright on the refrigerator. But I like the new shelving system which we did in heavy glass and also the drawers that are metal. Those are good features. I like them much better because they broke on my old refrigerators. I like my Viking refrigerator, and its style. It fits my needs with all the drawers it has. I like that the freezer doesn’t dry things out and there’s never a freezer burn. When I put something in it, it does not taste like the refrigerator. Also, the ice never tastes funny. I don’t care how old the ice is. It’s perfect. Those are the important things. However, the drawers were cracked. I had a bottle of soda explode in it, and it flows on the top shelf. It’s leaking, and there are only two of us living in the house so it’s not from overuse or abuse. The repairmen have been coming out fixing everything, and the drawers are now fixed and the leak is gone. I knew exactly the model I wanted and did everything online. But there were problems with the communication between the sales representative when I ordered the unit and the shipping department, and theres the need or knowledge of being service oriented. But when the delivery people got here, they dropped the Viking Refrigerator in my front door and left. We bought a Viking stove, hood/microwave, and dishwasher when we remodeled for our dream kitchen. Each appliance has had problems. First the bottom of the utensil basket disintegrated. It was flimsy and brittle after a few months of use. Brand specific replacement, $70 from our local appliance store. Fewer than 20 months later the control panel on top acted up. The appliance repair person said it would be at least 6 weeks to get a replacement part, if it was even available. It would cost, with installation, over $300. The stove has had several problems, the microwave/hood has problems. None of this was covered under any warranty. For a low end product the performance would be poor. Because its expensive, wed say it was abysmal.

Purchased a complete kitchen full of Viking professional series products in 2008. In 2011 the microwave quit working. In 2011 the stove top igniters are always trying to light a lit stove. 2011, dishwasher spray arm fell off (plastic broke). Ongoing is my fridge freezer side by side. Too warm on top but frozen veggies in the crisper. The oven always seems to take a little longer to get to temp then in 2014 would never get to temp. Have called the Authorized Viking distributor and have always been transferred around. I have been pushed to an authorized repair company and been fleeced for labor and materials. Dealer came out for dishwasher and after talking on the phone for an hour told me it would be over $500 to fix. I paid him for the service call and found the part online, and put it in myself. Took the microwave out and just bought a GE. No one wanted to work on the micro. Pulled the oven out of the wall, called the technician and he came out to troubleshoot. Told me the lower element was out. He quoted me over $550 to fix when the part came in within the next few weeks. I paid him the 140 for the trip charge and service call and found the element online for 111. I put it in myself. An absolute hassle and this is unacceptable for appliances that are supposed to be top of the line. Never, I mean never... NEVER will I ever buy another Viking product. Pure 100% crap. I have a mother in law apartment that does not have a single Viking product. Never have issues. I have Kohler throughout the main house. Hardly ever an issue. If there is one, I talk to KOHLER and they send me what it takes to fix. I cannot wait to remodel my kitchen!!!

Side by Side Refrigerator/Freezer Model FOSB 5422D - Beautiful built-in refrigerator freezer with ice dispenser in door. VERY expensive. Major design problem with icemaker. The basket holding ice has a metal part that connects with a plastic part to propel the ice into the dispenser. The metal part quickly destroys the plastic part, rendering the ice dispenser useless. All this within the first four months of use. The replacement ice basket has been on back-order for seven weeks. If and when it is replaced, I have no reason to believe the new part will enjoy a greater life expectancy unless Viking changed the design. If you intend to dispense ice from your freezer, be very wary of buying this model.

I have used Vikings many times in many homes in the past. I liked the way it functions, and it cooked even. I liked the way it looks, too. It is built well. The range tops and the ranges seem sturdy. I had a conversation with the regional Viking manager. Her name is Sue, local in Sonoma or Marin County. She was very helpful and very compassionate about our issues. As a result, she sent out a second technician to try to troubleshoot what we felt was the problem. They kept insisting that this was just how the Viking refrigerator sounded and sort of that was that.It would be nice if the knobs didn’t stick out so far on the rim. There is about a 4-inch piece of metal on the top that sticks out, so, aesthetically, it would be nicer if it fit back into the counter depth. Also, it would be nice if they manufactured some sort of a piece out of the stainless steel to go with the oven that fits in the crack behind the oven. I know that these ranges don’t all flushed to the wall because you have to have enough room for the plug to go into the outlet and enough room to attach the gas hose. So, it forces the range to stick out even a little further, then it creates a one to two inches behind where you are cooking. So, things can spill or splatter or go down in that hole. I could not get any help from anybody on that. We had to make something ourselves. They have a thing that they put underneath the front of the range to cover the gap where the legs are. They made something for that.

Very disappointed with the purchase. I saw that the refrigerator was much better because in the beginning, I was close to buying Sub-Zero. But because all of my appliances were Viking, I didnt want to make a mix. That’s why I bought my own refrigerator. But by the day I bought it, it started to have many problems. The engine turned off by itself. It worked once in a while.Viking fixed it three times. When they were fixing the last time, the tech broke the main doors arm so he couldn’t close the refrigerator. I got more upset about it. He then made the refrigerator open and said, “You have to turn it off, and you have to wait like three or four days for us to have the part for me to be able to fix it.” I said, “Are you gonna leave me without a refrigerator, without a freezer? I mean, it wasn’t my fault. I mean, you are fixing something new, and now, you are telling me I have to wait four days without a refrigerator because you broke the arm?” And the fourth time, they again wanted fix it. I bought something new. I dont want it to be fixed all the time. So, I brought it to the place that I bought it, they spoke to me and they changed the whole refrigerator.Hopefully, I will buy the same Viking set because all appliances on my kitchen are Viking. It came with the house. But the ones they have in the house are the worst ones that Viking has. The cooking appliance turns on by itself too. It has the same problem. Almost all the people who have the same system said all of it came like that. So, if I want something better, I have to change the model and get something more expensive or higher quality. Also, I want something bigger because the one that I have is really small.

I had a Viking Range that I bought 25 years ago. I finally used it up and got a new one. I like the way the lights in the new one work a little better and the simmer setting. And I like that the burner pans are sealed. With my previous unit, there was a drip tray underneath that we had to keep cleaning all the time. The improvements are nice. I use my stove like a restaurant does and it has never broken down. Also, mine runs on propane and they lasted over 20 years. I dont know another brand that can do that.

I had to look up the refrigerator that would fit in the spot of the old refrigerator. Viking refrigerator was one of the two that would fit. We talked with the salesman and Viking Refrigerators was the better of the two purchases. It was with the Pacific Sales at Best Buy and it was very nice. They were knowledgeable and it was easy to purchase. Then the refrigerator was delivered. They took out the old one and put the new one in. So far, I’ve liked everything about the refrigerator. We haven’t had any problems with it.

My husband wanted to go with Viking. When we were at a store, they were trying to persuade us not to. They kept telling us that the Viking refrigerator tend to fail quite often and a lot of their customers actually had problems with it once it goes out of warranty, and so they have to pay out of pocket to get it fixed. So, we were persuaded not to get it but my husband was determined to get it because we bought extended warranty. We like our refrigerator. We dont have any problems with it overall. We have the one side freezer, and one side fridge. We like it. Its big. I like the icemaker. Its convenient because its so wide. I wish theres more space, but overall, it functions fine. So far, were satisfied.

Viking customer service, should be called customer LACK OF SERVICE. 30-40 minute hold times on phone, lack of knowledge of product parts. Viking has discontinued the part for an 8 year old dishwasher, and only resolve is to charge you for a new appliance, with less discount than I can get at big box store and a charge for installation. Do not use Chesterfield Appliance for Viking repairs. Overpriced and not knowledgeable about product.

I did a lot of research on the internet on various high-end stoves and I looked to see about the problems with repairs. I knew that Viking was having a lot of issues before it was bought out a few years ago, but I saw that they had redone a lot of the parts and re-designed them. Their newer reviews were fine, too. They were pretty similar to the other high-end stoves. So, my wife decided Viking was the one she liked the most based on the way it looked. However, there was a scratch which was fairly deep on the stove door. It was installed about a month ago and I didn’t notice until right after the installers left. I was looking at the back of the stove when they took it off the truck. So I called up the store and sent them a picture right away. They acknowledged that it was obviously a problem because its not caused by me. I suggested they just send me a door and I would replace it myself as it is easy to install. I would just send them the old one if they wanted to. But Viking wouldn’t do that for some reason. They sent me a whole new stove. We also got side trim because we have a stone countertop that didn’t have a perfectly straight edge. The side trim makes the stove look like a slide-in type range. We couldn’t use the screws to install the side trim because they stick out and we can’t fit in a normal countertop within a 30-inch distance. It was kind of odd, but it’s no big deal. We just used the side trim and laid it in there, and it worked fine. Other than those, everythings fine. My wife is happy with the Viking stove. She loves it. We like the top of the stove the most. Also, when I had a question about how to remove the lower grate, the Viking rep answered the question right away.

This is my second review of the Viking 36-inch all refrigerator. Ice formed inside the unit and this interfered with the fan. Water collected on shelves and under refrigerator. The first unit was repaired a number of times. Viking then replaced it with a new refrigerator. Same problems. We insisted that Viking refund money to the dealer and we now have a Sub Zero. Finally, after almost six months, we have a refrigerator that works. While the interior design of the Viking is better, their engineering is poor. I will suggest to the dealer, who was helpful, that he considers to stop recommending Viking refrigerators. I have no experience with other Viking products.

Back in 2013, I was going to do a remodel to my house kitchens with a centerpiece. It was gonna be open to all of the appliances and we’re going to be in view in the open area. I was looking for a bit more than the GEs but there’s quite a few to choose from and Viking was close. The Viking range is excellent. It’s the leader of the pack and we’re so happy with it. The burners can be quickly assembled for cleaning purposes and I like their layout. The range is very serviceable, very durable, and the oven is fantastic. The racks in the oven are extremely easy to move and work with, very heavy and it gives me a lot of confidence working with them. The stove has a dent in the back for the heat to come out and that creates a primary heat in the backslash. I don’t think there’s another stove out there that would beat Viking but they’ve got to get rid of the heat somewhere. There was absolutely no service calls on the range. It’s been perfect and it’s amazing.

We bought a Viking refrigerator in 2005 and since then we had nothing but problems with it. It started with leaking water and damaging our floors and continued with changing 3 ice-makers in it which we still have problems with. The water dispenser freezes frequently and recently the door hinge is getting loose, not closing properly. We are afraid of injuries in case it comes off (as it has happened to other owners) and what makes it worse is the companys rude and nasty attitude when contacted. I would never buy another Viking appliance and hope there was something I could do to be remedied for all the hardship that me and my family have endured. If anyone has a lawsuit against them I will be glad to join.

After spending $25K on high end, top of the line appliances my response, JUNK, JUNK, JUNK! I should have stuck with Sears or GE. What went wrong: 1) MW door needed to be replaced out of the box. Kept sticking closed and would not open. Had to have it serviced. At least it was under warranty; 2) Wine cooler fan motor stopped working within the first month. Needed to be replaced. Replaced under warranty; 3) Beverage center relay needed to be replaced. Had I been able to buy one from a supplier it would have cost $45 dollars. NO I had to get the part from Viking $475.00!!! No Warranty. 4 year old appliance. Beverage center door seal had to be replaced after one year. Under warranty. 4) $5900 Refrigerator! EVERY interior drawer CRACKED AND SPLIT after 4 years of operation and had to be replaced for $500 dollars!!! Its get WORSE. The freezer door rusted after one year. Had to be replaced. Thank g-d it was under warranty.Came home to a refrigerator in cardiac arrest 5 years after being placed in service. Alarms going off. Food spoiled. This was just after spending $200 shopping for the week. Turned out the 3 phase rectifier was toast. No warranty. $545 to replace it. Then one day later alarms going off again. Serviceman comes out finds coolant level low. Cant find the reason. Says there is a small undetectable leak. Fills the system. No WARRANTY. $400 more dollars; 5) $2500 dollar under counter professional ice machine. Pump stopped working. Next the temp probe stopped working. Fixed under warranty. Then the temp probe went out again. I finally unplugged the unit and there it sits today unplugged. More junk. Contact Viking. Response, YOURE ON YOUR OWN. No nothing! JUNK STAY AWAY. My brother bought a Viking range. His wife is a really great cook and they loved the range. We had a range that worked off one of those panels and it broke down so we had to replace it twice. We wanted to get something that was totally manual and looked sturdy. the Viking range looked like the real thing. And it was a special with the dishwasher. We needed one of those so it all kind of worked out together. The qualitys great and its a real pleasure. I like the grill on top and you can slide everything across. However, I would never go back to the Viking dealer, P.C. Richards, again. Their guys came and I made the mistake of letting them install the unit instead of calling the plumber. They wound up cutting the heat shield at the back of the stove and they had to replace it. It was two weeks of back and forth and it wasn’t fun. That aside, we talked to Viking Ranges and they gave us a list of dealers since we wanted to get their runners. Our kitchen countertop is Butcher Block and the stove is sitting in the middle of the Butcher Block. I like the same stainless steel edging that I could put on the Butcher Block that would be alongside the side of the stove, like an angle iron. It would be attached between the countertop and the stove.

Viking is a well-known name in the industry and their range was the highest and top of the line range we can use without a direct overhead exhaust. However, we didnt have a good experience with it. Every time the exhaust fan came on, it vibrated and made a terrible noise. It was intolerable. Their service guy said it wasnt leveled but it was leveled fine when it was installed. Nobody could figure out why it was making the noise when the exhaust fan came on. I said, Obviously, somethings loose. Its vibrating. And it took them seven trips, two different service companies, to figure out what it was and it doesnt do it anymore. It was very frustrating on our behalf. Wed probably not buy their product again because of that. It was also delivered with a broken grate on top too. I had to go into the showroom and exchange it for the grate they had on the display. From day one, when it was delivered with a broken grate, right away I was upset. If I spent $500 or $1,200 for a range, Im okay. But it was $5,000 so Im expecting something to be worth $5,000, not a vibrating thing that was making noise. I have a service contract that I paid another $500 for so they have to come to me. It looks beautiful and it works great now, but the first year and a half was a disaster. And Im not quite sure how they fixed it and if its gonna hold up long enough. It was probably dropped or mishandled during its original shipment from its factory to its final destination that was why these problems came. Till today, its working fine, but Im not happy with the whole experience and would definitely not recommend it.

The Viking hood that goes with the Viking range could not be installed in my house because I do not have 10-foot ceilings. We had to purchase a non-Viking hood to match the range. We did need to call in a repairman because the ovens werent lighting nor were they maintaining the heat and the interior lights werent coming on. He said that they were not plugged in on the interior. We had been using it for a year and exactly a year later, without moving the oven or anything else, it became unplugged from the inside. But because it was still under warranty, we had it serviced very quickly. The quality has been superb.

We wanted a good range and Viking had a good reputation. However, it was not a good experience. We were not given full information about the internal cooling fan, which was not only loud, but it didn’t just cool down and then shut off. Through our entire dinner, we heard the fan going on and off. Another other issue was that the burners all fluttered and made noise. We had our propane company come out and check the pressure of our propane and everything was fine. But we couldn’t get it to simmer without it going out and we couldn’t get it on high, even the highest flame without it fluttering. It never worked properly. We have good people here in the area who came out with an additional set of burners, but it never got fixed. So, we were completely disenamored of Viking altogether.

My husband used to own a countertop business and we were familiar with Viking Ranges and we knew it a little bit better than their competitors. The range is great. The only issue I have is with the Vent Hood. When its on high, it squeals and it sounds horrible. We’ve had people come out and work on it several times and they can’t get it right. They blame it on Viking and so they’re supposed to come back out and do some other stuff to it and they just haven’t followed back up with it. But, I enjoy the flat grill on my range and all the burners that I have. I also like that it heats up fast.

I purchased all Viking products for my home. The exterior look is excellent but looks are deceiving! Almost every interior component of my refrigerator (VCSB483D) has had issues. Cracked butter covers, drawers that crack and fall off the track, track that wont support drawers, cracked freezer interior lining, ice maker issues, drain issues. The problem is Viking does not really seem to want to help you when its under warranty (loopholes like cracked components are cosmetic) why should that matter! Ive owned many non luxury brands that not only held up better, the manufacturers stood behind their products.

The refrigerator was not working for over two weeks (totally dead - no cooling in the freezer and the main refrigerator compartment) while Viking and its local repair service went back and forth on resolving the subject. It was quickly apparent that Viking keeps an arms length distance from such issues. Also apparent is that the local repair does not keep Viking parts in their inventory for repair purposes. Repairman said the refrigerator was shipped from the factory with improper soldering of tubes. After several visits and re-soldering of tubes, the refrigerator again worked. However the repairman said if unit stops working again that is could no longer be repaired - in other words, a dead inoperable appliance. Top dollar was paid for an appliance which at the end of the day was of shoddy quality, and not properly addressed by Viking under its own warranty. Inexcusable.

I unfortunately bought a Viking gas range from the local dealer Warner Stellian since the Wolf range I wanted was on indefinite backorder. This range has proven to be the worst gas range I ever had the mis-fortune of owning. Absolute piece of junk nothing but problems from day 1. Oven door that doesnt lock in cleaning cycle, spark modules and ignitors that dont work, door hinges that break, etc, etc. And forget about getting ANY satisfaction from Viking you call they ignore you and treat you like your stupid. I recently bought some much cheaper GE appliances for my mothers house in FLA and they performed flawlessly and at 1/4 to 1/3 the cost of Viking P.O.S.I think Im not alone see the other reviews on this site and they are all very consistent and UNHAPPY. DONT fall victim to the hype and salesperson B.S. Save your money and buy ANYTHING other than a Viking! Overpriced, poor quality, non-existent customer service, expensive hard to find parts, lousy, pathetic customer service from the manufacturer. Other than all that, youll love them...

We’ve previously lived in houses and in rentals that had Viking in them and I know that it’s a good brand. And when we were looking at the appliances, there was a couple that fitted in our budget and we also looked at the style of the oven. We looked at Wolf and Sub-Zero, and Viking, just a combination of the style, price, and functionality, won out over those. We bought a Viking refrigerator and a range from an online company out of New Jersey. It came from the factory and it looked like it had been packed up with a dent in the door. It was underneath all the packaging and theres no kind of dents in the packaging. It was difficult to figure out how to get that repaired on someone else’s dime because it’s not our fault. The dealer was more problematic than Viking. It was like sending emails to a blank wall. I felt like they could’ve said that this was not their issue and they’re sorry for sending it to us. They were just searching to figure out who I needed to contact. After four emails and a handful of phone calls they told me to call Viking. And then Viking sorted it out as I could expect. They took care of it in a good fashion and took complete charge of its cost. Viking had someone came out and replaced the door. Then, something also happened when they installed the range. Some of the workers tried to move the range around and they pulled off the door of our oven and that had nothing to do with Viking. But we were able to get that sorted out on the same day. It’s good for it to all happen at once versus a couple of times. The quality of the range is good and it seemed perfectly functional, especially after the door was fixed. It works when it needs to work.

When we did a complete remodel of our kitchen in 2018 we purchased Viking range top, downdraft vent & dual wall ovens. Viking had a promotion going where they threw in the dishwasher. The dishwasher stopped working in late January 2019, about 8 months after installation. We called the Viking authorized appliance repair company. They sent a service tech out 8 days later. He informed us the dishwasher had a bad water pump and circuit board. Told us it would take a week or two to get replacement parts. Never heard back so after two weeks I called the service center and was informed the parts would be in late March which means were out of a dishwasher for over 2 months.I am a general contractor with over 40 years in the business and have never experienced a dishwasher failure. I guess that is why Viking is giving them away! I may go ahead and purchase a Miele and throw this Viking unit out. I dont know how Viking can justify two month wait times for parts. Im really happy that it wasnt the cooktop or oven with a problem but now wondering if we do have an issue with either of those how long will it take to get parts.

Having a Viking Range is something that Ive always wanted for quite some time. Theyre expensive, but at my age now, I am finally able to afford it. I enjoyed cooking and never had this stuff with a high-end range before. I enjoy Viking a lot. I like the six-burner. I never had that many burners before. I could do simultaneously more things on the stove instead of taking turns before. Theyre all have nice sizes too. With the classic, it is just a four-burner range, you only have two small ones. You couldnt put a big pot on it. Then youre limited only to two larger ones. With Viking, theyre basically all the same size. It gave me a lot of options. We had some issues with the installation from Monark Appliances which is the store where we bought the appliances. But after that, when we contacted Viking, they were quite helpful. We had four appliances we got from them and they helped me register all the products online. Then they gave me the name of a local appliance or service dealer who could come fix the issue weve had with the installation that wasnt done properly. Ive been happy with the service we received so far.

The house we purchased had a Viking Range and it was un-repairable according to our insurance so they said, “Replace it,” and we decided we want to keep the same. The one we had before was a four-burner and we replaced it with a five-burner. But my wife wants me to call on it for service now because the guy who installed it said to do a deep cleaning right away. So we did for like two and a half hours and after that every time we turn the oven on the fan has a weird noise it didn’t have before. Before everything was nice and quiet. We could hear the fan coming on exhausting the oven. And then after we did the deep clean -- the high temperature clean, now it sounds like the fan is hitting something. When we installed it the place I bought it at said that they would be putting in something like anti-tip or something to the oven so if someone stands on the door the oven wont tip over. But they did not put that in. We also ran across some problem when we were trying to fix the original stove. The cleaning function would not work on it and the burners wouldn’t fire up every time. We had to use an igniter. But I had maybe four different people out here to look at it and said, “No, we don’t do this Viking.” They wont do it. That had scared my mother a little because we were remodeling her apartment and she was thinking of getting Viking but were not too sure now because its difficult to find service for them. I went to a place called Ferguson which is like a home builder showroom and I looked at all the different refrigerators. I liked the interior of Viking the most, and the way it looked and the way that it was organized inside very much. That was the deal that sold it. However, when the refrigerator was delivered, they must have dropped it which caused a series of things to go wrong with it. It was replaced right away and we’ve had the one that we have now for two months. It’s working fantastic. I love the layout and the drawers for the meat, cheese and vegetables. It’s so easy to use and I also like the door where you can put a variety of things. The first time, I talked to the dealer when I registered my product and the second time, since I had an account already, I logged on to that account and registered the second one. We dealt with a third party that was the repair person for Viking and they were very good. They came in from Austin to work on ours. We have the dishwasher too which was a bonus when we bought our refrigerator. I didn’t care for it at all at first because it was very different from an American dishwasher where it dries everything completely because it’s eco-friendly but I understand now how it works. We were at Best Buy looking at a different refrigerator brand and there was a wonderful Viking refrigerator on sale there because it was being discontinued. We ended up buying it and it’s been an outstanding product. I like that it’s huge compared to any that I’ve had in the past. I don’t currently have the Viking range but I had one in Chicago, and that is another reason why we looked at Viking. However, I’ve had some problems with the ice-maker so we had some service going recently. Customer service had to order some parts for me so it’s not fixed yet. But overall it’s a wonderful product if you’re able to afford it.

I was choosing between a Wolf or a Viking and at that time, Viking was having a rebate so I went with them. I like that it was made in America and have the stickers on it but the quality is horrible. On Thanksgiving day, it caught on fire. The conduction oven doesnt work and the regulator for the gas has had to be adjusted three times. The product is a total lemon. Im working with the supplier who says hes working on my behalf with Viking and I am going to go to every review site I can find and post if they dont do something to remedy this $5,000 stove that I invested in. Prior to when I first built my house, I bought good appliances and I was hoping that this Viking would be even better and this would be the last range that I would have to purchase, being of the quality. But every time I bake, it rattles the vent or fan but theyve tried taping it.My husband and I are so disappointed. We made this decision together. I cook all the time and it doesnt even completely work. It caught on fire because they didnt connect it to the gas thing properly. It wasnt a plumbers fault. They didnt make the stove correctly so I am upset. Its documented through the repair person including the type of visits. I even had a plumber come and look at it separately from the repair person. Even the repair person said Viking is not very good at standing by their equipment once we get it. And thats from the person whos selling it in his store. Unfortunately, Im all the way in Hawaii so I realize they dont want to pay shipping. I had a KitchenAid prior to this and I didnt want an electronic motherboard. That was another big decision maker, cause its very humid in Hawaii. In Vikng, the knobs are on the front so I felt its a better investment cause in the long run the motherboards breakdown. Also, theyve had to move the range in and out and its gotten scratched, not because of anything Ive done. The racks are now uneven inside of it because the repair guy has had to take them in and out so many times. My husbands tried fixing it himself but the only thing thing that works properly are the burners on the top and thats it. Everything else is wrong. Ive had to call Viking when it first caught on fire. Its still under warranty but it is only good for so far. And in the first three months, this thing has had four repairs and thats not right. They should try to work with me and replace it. But theres been no contact and no accountability.

I know about kitchen brands since we have a restaurant, and though Wolf is my favorite, I went with a Viking range for its size. I like the Wolf way better. I like the way the Wolf looks more commercial. Vikings a little modern for my liking but I enjoy that it fits in our tiny condo and its a commercial range. However, it was installed crooked and its still crooked. It slopes, so the trays slide out when Im cooking. Its dangerous when Im cooking greasy items. I dont know if the guy that installed it is also the reason why it doesnt ignite properly or if its a Viking problem, but it explodes when I try to light it. I havent been able to use it for quite some time and Ive tried to get the guy out to fix it. Ive reached out to them a couple of times but he is a no-show and a no-callback. On the other hand, I called Wolf for my Sub-Zero at the same time I called Viking, and the Wolf guys were on it.
