We couldnt get anybody to wait on us in the Vikings dealer close to where we live, so we went elsewhere. Its nothing against Viking, because this is a place weve been buying appliances for 30 years, and normally, when you would go in there, they would always greet you and ask you what you wanted help with. However, in this particular time we went in, we just got ignored. So we ended up buying at the closest dealer listed on the Vikings website that we felt had really good customer service and it was indeed really good. Im satisfied with the quality of the range and I like its usability particularly the fact that my wife can use the oven and all four burners at the same time. Its been a joy to cook on.

I needed a Viking fridge that matched the stove I already had. I purchased one and I havent been feeling great about it. Recently, the whole freezer got clogged up and I had to shut the whole unit down. I also had to replace a part in the fridge which cost me around $600. Getting the unit repaired was difficult because the two places registered with Viking in my area were terribly reviewed. Plus, those places were not able to help me immediately.

Im writing this letter in hopes that you can help me with a continuous issue I have had with your 36 Viking Stove. My wife and I purchased a new home in 2008, at which point we decided to renovate our kitchen. When we purchased our appliances, there was no doubt in our minds we wanted a Viking Professional range and oven. We were excited and happy with our appliance for a short time until we began to use it. Over the course of 3 years, we have had nothing but constant troubles with the oven. First the igniter went twice, then the thermostat, then a defect with the range top. We have had several Viking repair visits, each costing $300 or higher. When we made the decision to buy Viking, it was with the thought in mind that paying a little more meant getting better quality, craftsmanship and dependability. Unfortunately, this has been far from the reality we have experienced. Most recently we replaced the thermostat for the baking function and the oven doesnt heat up.Needless to say, three weeks before Thanksgiving, we find ourselves with yet another service call and Im sure more costly repairs. I have done extensive research on the Internet and various consumer affairs sites and found that there has been a groundswell of complaints with your ovens. Frequent mention of inconsistent bake temperature, issues with your igniter system and thermostats lead me to believe there is a known set of defects with your product and this particular model. To that end I am asking that you stand by your product and replace the oven. An investment of $6000 should not require a constant stream of maintenance for a product that should bring with it quality and dependability. Rather than spend time posting disparaging complaints on various consumer products sites. I am asking that you address the issue I have had with your oven so I can get the quality and craftsmanship I expect.I am reaching out for your help after multiple calls to your call center and ask for someone to contact me immediately. I will pursue this issue further and if necessary rally the countless people I have seen voice concern with the range product you offer and have sold. The information for my range is Model: VGSC3676BSS, Serial #: 081108C00053266

Weve had Viking products for a long time and weve enjoyed them. I like the look and they work well. We got a new refrigerator a couple of years ago but we have a lot of new products. I like my oven and refrigerator, but our other one died. We tried to fix it a bunch of times but we ended up just having to replace the whole thing.

I saw the Viking refrigerator in the store and I liked the way it looked. I liked the way the handles were. It pretty much had straight lines. Weve had it for a couple of months now and we love everything about it. It’s the first time weve had a bottom freezer. Before, we had a side-to-side which my wife and I both hated. Because with the side-to-side, at least at the time that we had it, you couldnt even get a pizza a box in there. Although there was an issue with the trim kit that we got, I cannot brag enough about Viking. When I called to report that problem, they put me in touch with the right person right from the very beginning. I took pictures of it and sent it to them then they looked at it and got right back to me. They said, “Guess what? You found something we didn’t know about. We actually have a problem with the manufacturing and so we’ll get it corrected. He said they would get another one sent right out to me and he did. Even after I got it, I got a phone call, following up, to make sure that we got it. They could not have been better.

I liked the quality of the Viking Range that I have observed at a family member’s house. I spent about two hours in the store and we finally landed on a product that I liked. However, I was really dissatisfied when the installer came to put the Viking Range in. They charged me $200 for the install, which I don’t remember having that conversation with my salesperson. I paid $50 to have them install the dishwasher so I thought I had paid for all of my installation fees already when I purchased the equipment. I paid them the $200 because my beef was not with them. My beef was with Famous Tate, who sold this stuff. I then brought my concerns to them. After some back and forth, and then realizing that I was not going to accept their answer, they finally gave me a credit of $200 on the purchase, which completely satisfied me. We also have a slight issue with our oven, where the door does not always close or shut off the lights. It is not pressing that little button that turns the light on and off. I have reminded my wife to call Famous Tate about it.

I sold all brands of appliances for 30 years, when I retired I bought a 30 in dual fuel Viking range. The way they are built, the customer service I got and my customers got over the years was by far the best in the industry. This belief paid off when after 5 years my range oven liner crazed. Because the liner could not be replaced or repaired Viking replaced my range with a New model at cost. Best Service Ever!

I have a built-in Monogram that I pulled out and died and I dont how to put one. I have spent that kind of money to put a built-in back in. Ive known Viking Refrigerators for a while then I saw it in the store. It met my needs. There was something damaged on it though and I was supposed to get another drawer and I didnt. I like that it keeps the vegetables fresh although this wonderful refrigerator does not have one of those little twist-in filters. Even the way its set up, you cant put an inline filter because its built-in and you cant get to it. Theres not enough room at the bottom.

Like many of the reviews here, our Viking French Door fridge was a lemon and so is the new one that showed up after 6 months of service calls and spoiled food. I have now heard from a service person and the appliance delivery men that I am not alone in my issues, which are detailed by many other reviews here. I have wasted 16+ hours of my life talking to Viking and waiting for service calls. Not to mention the $100s of lost due to spoiled food from the freezing in the back of the fridge. The fact that ice spills out onto the floor every time I open the freezer is a design flaw I could have lived with, but this is unacceptable. Built my entire kitchen around this fridge and now I need to figure out how to replace it. Do yourself a favor - the reviews are true - dont buy this fridge. Viking knows its refrigerator is defective, but keep selling it.

It is unfortunate that I have to write this on a brand such as VIKING since I have had nothing but troubles on the 48 range and the big side by side refrigerator. Over the years we had several problems including the refrigerator door that fell off and almost hurt my wife had it not been for the kitchen island that stopped the fall on her. Thankfully Viking replaced the door but it shouldnt have happened. Now the range, right from the beginning we had issues with the right sided burners and grill not working, the oven that always made a hissing sound every so often when in use which we didnt know was a faulty burner and fire spreader plate. On 4 occasions we had the Fire department coming to our house because of Carbon-monoxide leak from the oven that triggered the alarm which, thankfully, is hooked to the Fire Dept. The latest being this Thanksgiving Day while the oven was in use. When discussing this with Viking customer service, the answer we got was that upper management couldnt help and suggested a repair service company. The service company stated that this is not an isolated issue but common with VIKING. The parts alone is quoted at over $1200.00 plus labor. If anyone is thinking of buying a VIKING product - think twice before you spend the tens of thousands for this poor quality brand like we did several years ago. Shame on you VIKING.

Purchased this stove (VESC Professional 30 Freestanding) in April 2012 because we wanted a Viking Kitchen. Big mistake. Here are the comments I sent to the chairman and CEO of the company after using the stove for two months: At the front of the cooktop there is a small gap/crack between the cooktops metal frame and the main body of the stove. Crumbs and other waste accumulate in this space, which is very difficult to clean. The GE range and many others have a completely smooth top, with no gaps around the cooktop, making them much easier to clean. We ordered the optional backsplash, not realizing that it completely replaces the original vent grill which has become surplus. Rather than forcing customers to order both, it would be much more reasonable, and less wasteful, to substitute the optional backsplash at the factory and not send the vent grill, offering an corresponding price adjustment. Ranges costing much less have more features and are better designed. I cannot recommend paying Vikings very high prices (the stove cost over $5000) for a poorly designed product and this will be my last purchase of a Viking product.

Viking Ranges is a name that speaks for itself. Everything I’ve ever heard has always been good. We went with them because of the reputation and we were dealing with the warehouse that had one Viking stove that was the right size and had the right looks of it. However, there were a lot of issues. One of the burners didn’t work and the oven would turn itself off after I turned it on. It also wouldn’t maintain the heat. It would be cold in the front and hot in the back. We had a company come in at first, but they kinda oversold themselves and they didn’t know what to do. They put it back together and said they couldn’t fix it. Another fellow from a different company came and we were super pleased with him. He was very professional and he knew his stuff. He seized up what was wrong. Our dilemma was we don’t have a gas line, so we had to go with propane and we bought a stove that was not propane. They had to alter it. The first company thought it was just a simple fix, but it wasn’t. They had to adjust all the frames. The second guy fixed it and ordered the parts, although it took forever to get the parts. But he consistently called us and said he was working on it. They were supposed to be coming and it did. He called, came, and fixed it. However, it was a new stove, so I don’t understand why it has so many things wrong with it. Everything’s working fine and it’s good now. It maintains temperature. I made some chocolate cookie chips and they came out great. On the bottom or on the top, they were perfect. It’s a wonderful stove, but I’m a little apprehensive to recommend it because of the start-up problems we had. It definitely was a problem when we got it and it was not lightweight. You don’t wanna be taking things in and out because it is a big stove, it is a double oven.

I bought 1st one mid Year 2015, the panel buttons caved in, rendering the microwave unusable, at 18 months. Purchase a second identical microwave July 2018.Second microwave had no updraft of exhaust, tons of exhaust flow from the top, repairman couldn’t determine where exhaust was coming from. Magnetron did not operate properly microwave, sounded as if motor was straining, lagging and power was not even. Excessive condensation built up inside door. Viking replaced microwave instead of trying to fix it. It took about a month to get replacement. I received a call at 445 that installer was Enroute and should be here by 6pm same day.Last night I got the 3rd otr microwave, in 3 years. Mentioned that updraft exhaust was not good, microwave #1 had excellent exhaust (updraft). Was told by installer that these don’t really operate that well. Probably the most honest thing I’ve heard. Love my Viking range. Hate the microwave, wouldn’t buy another Viking microwave, yes I realize 80% are made by Sharp. Would look to another brand.

Just describing facts: you can judge if you want to go through this headache. Bought in 2011; Model # CVDSC548T64SS. First problem: noisy vibrating fan required between 2012 and 2013 several service. First replacement fan had same problem needing replacement again. Now, in 2015 (oven is just 4 years old!!) the Temperature selector switch not working. Needs to be replaced (cost 435 $ + tax + service call). The service company has had to change this part 4 times already for other customers. I called BRIGADE but they refuse to consider this a defect.Considering that this range costs at least 10,000$ I CAN NOT RECOMMEND SPENDING THIS MUCH MONEY FOR POOR QUALITY OF PRODUCT AND SERVICE. Just found out Viking no longer called Viking but BRIGADE! Daniel came a few times until June 6, 2013 to solve the problem of the noisy oven. Now Sep 11, 2015: control knob for temperature and mode not working clockwise only counter clockwise.

I like Viking Ranges look but the glass in the oven range door is loose so
I like Viking Ranges look but the glass in the oven range door is loose so whenever you clean it, it slides. And I uncovered that one of the burners is actually shaped differently than the other five. I’ve emailed Viking support about it a week or so ago and I haven’t heard back from them yet. I was really just going for the pure industrial range. With the Wolf, we didn’t like the big red handles. I know they offered us black. The Jenn-Air, I didn’t like that it had a digital clock on it. I just wanted that basic, industrial look. And that’s essentially why we ended up with the Viking. I would assume that the Wolf and the Jenn-Air probably have better features. And from what I read online, they don’t have many company issues in the past. But the look drove everything, unfortunately. Also, their dealer always had to contact the Viking sales rep but hes very slow to reply and promised things that never happened. He said he did stuff when he didn’t. It was all pushed back. Id suggest a new sales rep from Viking. From what I’ve also heard, there are not very many companies that service Viking. They were having to call a company out of Illinois, which kept saying that they were scheduled and coming and would never show. And then, they finally found Mr. Appliance based out of Indianapolis that had an employee that used to work for Viking that now works for them. So, they are indeed servicing Viking equipment now. My range is over a year old, so I don’t think I’m under any type of warranty. I did speak to a Viking rep on the phone about the burner. And I don’t know if she was saying that she was going to send somebody to put one in, or if they were just going to send me the part and I had to figure out what to do with it from there. So, I’m not really sure how all that works. I’d probably need to read that warranty a little bit longer. I know there’s a five-year on different types of parts and a one year on something else. So, hopefully, that’s obviously covered since it’s a manufacturers defect that they put the wrong burner on. The burner cap has little legs on the side of it. The burner is rounded at the top. It doesn’t have a lid like all the other five so the cap doesn’t stay put. You’re not really ever touching it, but whenever you pull it off to clean it, you just to have to position it where it sits. I love the way that they look but they were just a lot of trouble.

I have a friend who remodeled their kitchen five years ago, and they have Viking and the kitchen looks so chic and had clean lines. I went with a six-burner and a full range. The home that we purchased, we seriously upgraded the kitchen and there was a cooktop and a double-stack range which is not my style. I was raised with a one range and I liked the versatility that Viking provided with the 5 Series range that we have. I looked at others and its just the right size. The six pilots is perfect because theres more room to cook. The space in the conventional oven is large enough, both the top and the bottom, to heat up the turkey and also the casserole and the dressing at the same time. I have the Viking hood and the switch of the light that illuminates the oven range needs to be adjusted because the light blinks on and off. But so far, everything is great. Im very pleased.I have the whole set - the microwave drawer which is very sleek, the dishwasher, and the refrigerator. But we had a Samsung which had more space in it than we do in the Viking. Thats the only complaint. Were pleased with it. I compared it to other brands. And for what I was willing to pay, Viking fell right in the middle. It wasnt too much for me because, where we live and the upgrades that weve done to the home and the overall increase in value, I thought that the appliances should reflect the neighborhood. Its one of those things wherein that is a fixture that adds value to the house. Kitchens and bathrooms sell a home. And to walk into a kitchen, especially ours, from how it was when we purchased it, to have so many nice upgrades and one of the top of the line appliances, it added instant value to our home. That was the other reason why the whole package was worth it.

Im seriously disappointed in Viking. Redid my whole kitchen and got a good deal to get all Viking appliances. The fridge drawers dont stay closed. Yes we leveled it. But the worst is our stove top. The induction range stopped working three times in the first year. Had both sides replaced. Then a month after my warranty was up the second side let go again. Customer service then wanted us to pay to have a repair man to come and say it was not working. That was done and we got a 1200$ plus time estimate to fix it. Customer service was not helpful and for some reason we can not submit a complaint on the website. I now have 2 plug in induction stove tops from Canadian tire sitting on my 4000$ range that have worked well for 3 years. Dont know what to do with my range now. The only upside is the oven. That works very well.

We’ve had Viking for years and thats the reason we got them the second time. We like the stove for the way it’s set up. The refrigerator’s open a lot and the temperatures on it have always stayed the same unless it’s real hot out. The new one has got the LEDs in it, which is nice. The doors in it are a little bit nicer than the old ones we had. We bought the items over the internet and it was real good. At this day and age, it seems like most of the time you buy something, it’s good for three years, and it goes to hell on you. We try to buy quality, and it shows. Viking has been a good product. Weve only had the Viking Range for a couple of weeks. In another home in North Carolina, we’ve got a Wolf stove in there. The same company makes Wolf and Vikings but we wanted the Viking Range as it was the best fit for our kitchen in our new house. The dealer was great. On the day that we were supposed to get the range, they pulled the old one out and my husband realized that he had told them the wrong kind of gas fittings that we needed. The dealer, Cummins, told my husband that the one they had fittings on the floor, the one he had looked at, had actually the right ones. So they went ahead and connected that one instead. In the end, they were able to make sure were getting the right thing. So far, Ive been loving the Viking Range. Everything about it is great. I like the way the burners come off. It’s quiet and seamless. Its oven takes the “tsk, tsk, tsk’’ then winks a couple of seconds for it to come on. Everything’s instantaneous. The dials, the knobs and everything’s easy to figure out. I did a lot of research on the internet on various high-end stoves and I looked to see about the problems with repairs. I knew that Viking was having a lot of issues before it was bought out a few years ago, but I saw that they had redone a lot of the parts and re-designed them. Their newer reviews were fine, too. They were pretty similar to the other high-end stoves. So, my wife decided Viking was the one she liked the most based on the way it looked. However, there was a scratch which was fairly deep on the stove door. It was installed about a month ago and I didn’t notice until right after the installers left. I was looking at the back of the stove when they took it off the truck. So I called up the store and sent them a picture right away. They acknowledged that it was obviously a problem because its not caused by me. I suggested they just send me a door and I would replace it myself as it is easy to install. I would just send them the old one if they wanted to. But Viking wouldn’t do that for some reason. They sent me a whole new stove. We also got side trim because we have a stone countertop that didn’t have a perfectly straight edge. The side trim makes the stove look like a slide-in type range. We couldn’t use the screws to install the side trim because they stick out and we can’t fit in a normal countertop within a 30-inch distance. It was kind of odd, but it’s no big deal. We just used the side trim and laid it in there, and it worked fine. Other than those, everythings fine. My wife is happy with the Viking stove. She loves it. We like the top of the stove the most. Also, when I had a question about how to remove the lower grate, the Viking rep answered the question right away.

Being empty nesters, and retired we rarely use your oven, except for when company comes. So even though it was past the warranty, plus we had a problem at the beginning with the settings of the range, we believe this range is a lemon. They say because we didnt have complaints earlier, its not. Customer service was horrible! Our oven stopped working during roasting our prime ribs, we had to ask neighbors to finish the prime rib and barbecue the other one; the hot dishes that were going to go into the oven after the prime rib was done had to go to other neighbors house. We would call customer service and ask them to return our call, but they never did. So we had to call over and over again. That meal was at Thanksgiving time and we still dont have it repaired yet, and they called saying the part hasnt come in so theyre canceling tomorrows appointment! Right during the holiday season when we like to do a lot of Christmas baking! So its ruining our Thanksgiving and Christmas! Thanks a lot Viking! Its incredibly annoying and standard manufacturer warranty is expired after a year. Really bad product, you dont expect this from a newer fridge, especially Viking. Not living up to its name at all.

I’ve owned Viking Refrigerators for a while. Ive had my old one for 20 years and I bought a new one due to its brand and reliability. I also like its look. Ive had my new one for about three months. But the quality becomes questionable after 10 or 15 years and it becomes very expensive to maintain. Also, the issue with the two I have right now is that with the way they are designed, regardless of the temperature, everything freezes over in the top shelf. Everything gets slushy, especially beverages. It almost makes the top shelf unusable and I have to move all beverages to the bottom. I can only store limited stuff up there, otherwise, it’s gonna freeze over. They should at least have a cover on there. Also, they should extend the warranty.

My wife had heard about Viking Ranges for years through word of mouth and she had always wanted one. We liked the fact that Viking had six top burners and a fairly good sized oven. We liked the professional quality of the range itself and we’re very satisfied. Purchasing it was quite a pleasurable experience. We had a very knowledgeable sales lady. She showed us several models and we selected one. She was helpful too in getting it purchased and delivered. The Viking range is a very nice product and we would definitely recommend it.

We were building a home three years ago, and I looked up about Viking, Wolf and other ranges and decided to get a Viking. I thought it was a top-of-the-line product and I liked the sleek look of it compared to Wolf. Im now on my second Viking since the one that was initially put into my home did not heat properly and it did not cook right since the day it was installed. So eventually, the door wouldnt close completely and that was under some recall type of thing. Viking ended up replacing the entire unit. However, there is only one repair service here in Columbus that deals with Viking as far as I know. I keep being told thats because Viking is either charging too much money and/or wont supply the parts and I would love to see some more competition rather than just one repair service that I have to call and pay their prices to repair a Viking product. I have a lot of friends that have Viking, and we all have to use the same people to repair the products.

Viking customer service, should be called customer LACK OF SERVICE. 30-40 minute hold times on phone, lack of knowledge of product parts. Viking has discontinued the part for an 8 year old dishwasher, and only resolve is to charge you for a new appliance, with less discount than I can get at big box store and a charge for installation. Do not use Chesterfield Appliance for Viking repairs. Overpriced and not knowledgeable about product.

We purchased our Viking 48 built in in 2005 and during the next two years, had (11) service calls to either fix the ice maker or the temperature control module. The ice maker never functioned properly and we finally replaced it at a cost of over $550. Their service rep. actually argued and yelled at my wife on the phone because the item was out of warranty. How in the hell can any company stand for that type of customer relations and expect people like us to recommend their products?? But there is a light at the end of the tunnel and there are some companies that still know the business of good customer relations and that is Wolf / Sub Zero. Point in fact, my double oven control unit went out. We called the Wolf service center and asked them if there was anything they could do for us to minimize the cost of replacing the module at $760.00. They immediately said that they would waive the cost of the parts but we would have to pay a service fee of $125. DONE DEAL. By the way, the unit was ten years old. I tell this story to everyone who will listen, perhaps Viking will, someday. To be fair, I did find out that there was a recall on the refrigerator door pins that could break and the door could fall off. I called and they were very nice and will cover the replacement costs and parts 100%, which they should on any safety recall.

We were doing a remodel addition to an old family cabin and when it came to looking at appliances, Viking had the right size, the configurations that we wanted, and it checked on the boxes. Plus, weve had a Viking stove for a very long time. However, weve had major issues with the refrigerator. Were not in a remote area, but its not as highly populated so getting service people out has caused delays. Were actually on our third Viking refrigerator. The first one had been damaged in shipping, and the shipping caused some issues because of the supply chain. Then it sat in our garage because of construction delays. When they came to unbox and install it, it had major physical damage, so we didnt go any further. It took a while to get one, but they found it, and then we had nothing but problems with that second one. Alarms were going off all the time, it wasnt holding, its cold in either side, the ice maker wasnt working, it was horrible. Weve had to throw massive amounts of food away because we bought all new stuff for the cabin so its been a pain. They had somebody come out, did a couple of things, it worked for a day, and then we have more issues. They replaced all these different parts to it and this took us quite a long time because the service company doesnt do repair. Finally, they realized that they would never be able to get it worked so they ordered us another one and that one was delivered and installed and its worked really well, except for the ice maker.I understand the delays in getting attention placed on our case. Im usually a pretty calm person, but I had to get a little nasty with the sales rep because I didnt feel like she was helping. The holidays are coming. We needed refrigeration in our house. It was difficult so I had to put my foot down and demand a loaner. She ended up coming through with that and then she said that I would have to pay for it as well as the delivery and installation. I told her I wont. It was a back and forth show. Also, every step of the way, somebody made a commission off of this and so they needed to come to the table to help a little more. We felt like we got a fair price, buying two Viking items and get a set of cookware free, and we got a free microwave, so we wanted to make this work. Plus, we have wood paneling for the doors. If we were to switch and go with a different brand, which we wanted to do, it would have been a major additional cost to us. Well, Viking has been responsive. Its a $10,000 refrigerator and so they need to go through what they need to do to make sure its working right before they scrap the whole thing. It was just really frustrating while it was all happening.

Its a New Year but I have an old and all to common complaint about a Viking Professional 36 Dual Fuel Range with an electric oven Model VDSC3676BSS. The ignitors for the gas range did not work when the stove was installed in 2007. They were replaced under warranty. Four years later, the spark module has failed again. I can see from all the post that this is far from unusual. I cannot recommend Viking appliances to anyone. Quite the opposite. Save yourself money and trouble and buy another brand.

I bought a Viking dishwasher in 11/2009. A year and a half into owning this, the racks rusted and dishwasher needed some major service. Four years into ownership, racks rusted again and the control panel had to be replaced because the dishwasher would not run past 5-10 minutes and would blink fill error according to service person. This happened on Christmas morning with a house full of company. Then in 3/2013, the drain pump failed. Part was ordered. The service person had to pull dishwasher out of its space and then realized it would take at least 3 hours to repair, costing upwards of $300. We had already spent that much in previous repairs. So a $2,000 dishwasher less than 5 years old is going to the junk pile! Also, I contacted Viking customer service with no response from them to provide an explanation or help! Unacceptable from a supposedly big name quality product supplier! Quality rating is zero!

We have had a Viking french door refrigerator installed since November 2016. First the ice in the freezer spills out behind the drawers not allowing the freezer door to always close completely, or the ice spills out over our wood floor when we open the door. We have had frozen food ruined and continuously have to dig behind the drawers and remove ice. Then ice began forming in the regular refrigerator drawers. A repairman has been out twice and says he is awaiting parts. Why he did not identify the need for the parts the first time he was out, I dont know. The refrigerator is a lemon and should be replaced. It has not run correctly since we bought it. Photo of serial number attached.

Our Viking built-in refrigerator door fell off, on top of my 8 year old son. The hinges that broke were actually the replacement hinges that were given to us by Viking after the initial door hinge recall in 2009. The replacement hinges were only in place only a year before failing. Has anyone else had a replacement hinge fail?My 8 year old sustained some minor injuries. The door, which weighs a couple hundred pounds, damaged my tile and also dented one of my ovens. I am now without a refrigerator as I will not allow the door to be replaced a third time.

My husband wanted a Viking range. We bought one and it has been terrible. We took in the dimensions of the range that we had in. Their guaranteed me it would fit and that the would be a half-inch further out than the existing range we had which was not a big deal at all. However, when their delivery guys got here, it stuck out 4 inches further. So, we had to cut into our granite to get it to fit. Also, their guys didnt bring a range cord with them to do the installation so we had to take the one off of our old range. They also told us that the range would fit and that it wont stick out once we took the granite out. Still, because of the width of the plug, it stuck out. They eventually told me that they would come back three days later with a long enough gas hose and recess the plug in the wall. Instead, they came back with another gas hose that wasnt long enough. I have a 2-foot hose and a 4-foot one and they had two supply lines hooked together. The installers also scratched my floor. After all this, Viking has not been acceptable. Nobody wants to have two gas lines. Its just another spot for it to leak. At that point, I told them that I dont want them messing with my range. They already scratched the floor ones. My husband can change out the gas line and so were gonna do it. Yet another problem was that the door of the range wouldnt open so they sent out a text to fix that plate across the bottom. Three days later, we were actually going to use it for the first time and the light kept coming on. We called them out to fix that and it took a week for them to come out. When they did, the tech said that our hinges were busted so the door was stuck. They also didnt have the part with them so we had another 10 days without a stove. The second time the installers left, they ran over my garbage cans and left them in the middle of the road. So, I called and talked to their guy and he told me that they would figure out what they were gonna do about my garbage cans and the scratches on the floor. However, we never heard back from him. I sent a message a week later telling him that Im very disappointed with the service. We try and shop local, support smaller businesses, and it’s disappointing that they couldnt even get back to me. When I talked to him again, he said he thought I was gonna call him back. He also said that the only thing they would do was refund me the installation fee. Though they were gonna send somebody out to fix our floor, it would cost me. Im not trusting anybody that theyre gonna send out at this point.

The Viking range is nice-looking and Im very pleased with it. Right now, Im still trying to get used to it. Its a little bit different than the previous one I had. Also, I had to make a few adjustments because the back was a little above an inch higher than the one I had. The only thing I dont like is the color of the tops of the burners because if anything drops on them, they spot and it looks speckled. It doesnt look clean. If those could have been black, that would have been great. I dont know if I could buy replacements for them and if theyre in black. Ive paid a bunch of money for this and Im not so sure that I want to put a whole lot more into it. Other than that, its a beautiful piece of appliance and I would recommend it. Its the focal point of the kitchen and I did not swap out the vent that I had because the range matched it perfectly. Also, the company I bought it from is fabulous. They were there with me the whole time for delivery and installation. All the guys were wonderful when they came in and they were so careful in bringing it in. Then, I had a follow-up from Viking. After the range came in and it was installed, they called to ask me if everything was okay, if I was able to get it, if it was working, and if I was pleased with it. I have been totally pleased with the company.

And then I had to make sure that ice is not stuck in the ice maker because ice won’t come out. The ref is great, but it’s having twerks. I reached out to Viking Refrigerators but they wanted me to register everything first and then call back. Also, the dealer was just all about the sale and after that, he kept having a follow-up and a follow-up. I wouldn’t use that dealer again. I researched on the website a while back and to me, Viking products were outpriced out, so I didn’t care for Viking at all and I was looking more into BlueStar and Wolf. But then this year I went to Best Buy and I saw the Viking range, and the customer service guy there, Cary, started telling me about it. I was looking at it and ended up buying it. And I was surprised because I never thought I was gonna have a Viking. But I love it and I’m happy with the customer service. Now the only thing is the cleaning portion of the ceramic part where I can’t get some tough stains out. And customer service doesnt have anybody that I can call and walk me through it or give me ideas. I have to look on the web, and that’s the only bad part. The baking feature of the range is great but it’s a little bit slow. If I have a cake that is a 30-minute cake, the baking time goes close to an hour. I love to bake and a pound cake is supposed to be 45 to an hour and 15 minute and Viking goes close to the two hour time. The oven turns off and it comes back on, so baking takes longer. I may be doing something wrong but I don’t press the button for a convection oven. So I’ll ask the technician when they come. The dealer in the Pacific Department at Best Buy was an excellent help and Viking Ranges is excellent. Go ahead and purchase one if you can do it.

My wife and I perceived the Viking refrigerator as high quality just by certification. We like the look of it as well as the configuration with the door freezer and double open top. We also wanted to get a matching set for we did a remodeling in our kitchen. So far, we really like it but theres one thing that kind of drives me crazy, and its in the minor side. On the freezer, when you open that the big drawer down below, it has an ice maker, and you pull it out. The way the ice is dumped it into the tray and it builds up, about every fourth time, it pushes the ice behind and comes on the floor. But if I open it slowly, reach back, and try to move the ice, it doesnt happen. But sometimes, I forget. The other thing that weve experienced, and I dont know that its the refrigerators fault, is that if our power goes out or trips, then the power comes back on again, the refrigerator doesnt automatically come back on. That could be bad and we initially had a problem when we first got the refrigerator. Aside from that, sometimes we spend a couple of weeks away from the house. Were trying to figure out if theres a way I could get a beeper on my panel or something that would tell me that the fridge is off. But I want it to just automatically cycle back on when the power comes back on.Also, I wish they can come up with something a little better and easier to remove than that plastic coating that they put on it to protect it during transportation. Its really a great idea to have that protective plastic but it is a royal pain to remove it for installations. Other than that, I feel like we got good value on the Viking refrigerator, so Im pretty happy.

We were looking for a counter depth refrigerator, and the Viking refrigerator was one of the few ones that we liked. It works really well and we like its design. It gets the food really cold. I like the lighting there and the construction of it. However, the dealer we bought it from was horrible. I bought from the dealer Viking appliances including a refrigerator, range, dishwasher, and a microwave. When they first brought the refrigerator over, they didn’t have a truck that has a ramp to take it off from the truck. What they ended up doing was they had to open up the fridge in the truck, had to lay it on its side, and slid it on the floor. They had three people struggling, carrying it into the house without its box. I was to the point of just livid. Fortunately, they didn’t scratch anything because I was standing there right next to them making sure nothing happened. I could have picked a better dealer despite them giving me free installation.I have a printout of the fridge so that we know where to put the electrical outlet as well as the water outlet. But in the case of the range, there wasn’t really a cutout. All we knew was that it has a 30-inch width so when it arrived, it couldn’t fit into the wall because the gas outlet in the wall was right in the middle. We remodeled the entire kitchen and nobody explained it to me when I was in the showroom that we could have reconfigured everything to make sure that the appliances actually fit there. Also in the dishwasher, there was a piece at the bottom that keeps falling off. Its kinda weird and I’m not sure what to do with it. However, the appliances were great, overall. I’m very satisfied with the Viking brand. It looks great. I have people come by and everybody’s awed by the overall look of it. It’s just beautiful.

We had nothing but trouble with the Viking Range that we first received. It was a gas range, the simplest model that Viking makes and I felt like I got a lemon unit. We were without an oven for five weeks. I contacted Viking and I spoke with a gentleman named Tony who should have been responsible for resolving these kinds of issues. Basically, he said that Viking would only come and replace parts on the unit even though we had had the repairman out three times. He also said that they would restart our warranty once the range started working. Tony was nice but he had a very condescending attitude. He should not be dealing with end-users.Viking never got me a new range and I am rather disappointed with them. They were exceedingly stubborn with replacing it. I didn’t even wanna go with the same model and I wanted to get a different one. I wanted to go to a dual convection and I wouldve paid the difference if Viking wouldve stepped in and did something about it. It took a lot of work and coordination that the consumer and the end-user should not have had to go through. I have never dealt with a more frustrating company and I’m astonished that they treat an end-user like that. It ruined my opinion of them. The dealer I purchased it from replaced the range, and that was before Viking agreed to make the transfer. This was all done through the retailer. They brought a new one out and it worked right away, and it’s been working since then. Viking is a very good range while it’s been working, but with all the experience I had with the last unit, I was not happy. Any time that somebody will ask me about my range, I will be more than happy to tell them the story of how Viking basically did nothing.

Our home is new construction and not our permanent home. We plan to live in the house 50% of the time. We moved in October 20, 2020. We purchased all Viking kitchen appliances and mind you this is our first Viking purchase and will be our last. After the first use of the stove top, it started rusting. The front panel and the back vent panel. No chemicals were used to clean. All I used was dawn detergent, water and a microfiber cloth. After contacting Viking we were told that we have a 90 day cosmetic warranty so they are willing to replace the parts that are rusting. Huh??? The oven had not been used or the oven door had not been wiped down. The microwave or dishwasher had not been used either at this point. So Viking was to just replace the parts that are rusting and Im to hold my breath that nothing else rusts in the 90 days or it will not be covered. Am I the only one who thinks this is unacceptable?I told Viking that stainless steel should not rust and so quickly. After submitting a request to Viking for a replacement range, management declined my request. I bet if “management” paid $7000 for a range and it rusted the first time they cooked, they would not find this acceptable. I will never buy Viking again and their customer service stinks. I’ve had to call Viking every time because they do not call back or follow up.

I had a Viking refrigeration unit close to 15 years. But it crapped out and it was gonna cost $2,500 to fix it. The cabinetry that I have was all set to the same size of a Viking refrigerator and I didn’t wanna pull out the cabinetry that I have built around it. The showroom also had a Viking refrigerator that I was able to buy off the floor model that they were willing to sell me because I got my first Viking there so they gave me a discount on it. Its lighting is a lot better than the old one, but Im very concerned when I bought it. I bought it from Holloways and they told me that I would get the standard guarantees if anything was to go wrong. Its like buying a new product off of the floor. But the refrigerator wasn’t working in the store and it was just set up there. I thought I was buying a model where I get the same guarantees. After I registered the product with Viking, I was told by their customer service people that my refrigerator was out of warranty because it was on the floor for five years. If Viking was such a great company and had superior products, they would give me the same guarantee as a new refrigerator. Im stuck with this model now and they will not back up a product that was brand new to me for more than 90 days. There is this freezing thawing process that is part of the regular refrigeration process but the pathway for the melting gets blocked up. It gets frozen too so the water accumulates in the bottom of the refrigerator. That had happened a couple of times.Ive had problems with a variety of Viking products from double ovens to the refrigerators. I have two homes and I have full suites of Viking appliances in both kitchens. I’ve not been thrilled with them. Viking is overrated. They have a cachet but their performance and reliability do not live up to that cachet. There are lesser prestige brands that perform better than Viking.

Electronic control in door failed within the first year - replaced under guarantee. After 2 years water leaked because of a torn rubber door seal. At 3 and 1/2 years, while replacing another rubber door seal, discovered that the metal internal bar to which the bottom of the door attached had rusted and sealing screws no longer attached. Am completely disgusted with this supposed premium and professional dishwasher (actually, according to its back, made by Electrolux as is the Viking Pro refrigerator) - no one at Viking will discuss this, and at least one customer service person told me I was out of guarantee and out of luck. Will NEVER purchase a Viking appliance again! Their quality is suspect but the lack of customer support is evident.

The Viking range was at my house when I moved into it, but Ive heard great things about the quality and that they last a really long time. It works really well, and it is very clean and sleek. The easiest thing is cleaning the range and the stove top. Its very easy to remove and you can put it in the dishwasher, which is great. One time, the oven door was a little bit loose. I reached out, they had someone come out within a couple of days and fixed it. Since then it has been working great.

Weve already had three issues with the range. First, the wiring harness for the burners that they installed was wired backward so they came and fixed that. Then, the thermocouple in the oven was bad and it cycled way too frequently. It took a long time to get parts but its fixed. The third issue, which isnt resolved yet, is theres a warp in one of the panels. As the oven heats up, that warp kicks loose and we hear a bang. These issues should have been caught by decent quality control and they werent. But the oven works and I love it. I love how easy it is to clean and maintain and it cooks amazingly.

My first issue was that EVERY drawer cracked and they refused to replace them when it was clear that the initial cracks happened at installation. Pirch, where I bought the unit, did the honorable thing and resent new ones. This was in the 5th moment of ownership. Thanks Viking! My Viking fridge is now completely out after 9 months and they will get to me after 10 days because they are busy, despite the fact that I told them I have small children. They use 3rd parties who dont care about anything, except to bill Viking. They allege to have fixed their issues and service with the ownership, but that BS as the product is not impressive and the service is a zero. I gave 2 stars for the products good looks, but its all downhill after that, especially after 13k spent! Pos note: Customer Service lady was friendly/respectful.

We moved to a new home over the summer & as much as I have loved my new kitchen, I HATE this dishwasher!! Isnt Viking supposed to be top-of-the-line?? This is not cutting the mustard--literally!! I have to SCRUBBB everything before putting it in & once cycle is finished, everything is still very wet. UGHHH! It goes through the motions & makes you think its cleaning, but really isnt. We purchased the Viking a Professional Single Wall Oven June 14. We have not been able to use this oven. It can take up to 1 hour to pre-heat. After the oven had pre-heated and turned OFF the entire panel is so hot you cannot touch it. The oven was replaced once and we are having the same problem with the new oven. We have had 2 different electricians look at this along with Viking service techs. No one seems to have an answer to our problem. Would never have chosen Viking if we had known this. We also called Viking who told us to call the store we purchased the oven from. Viking basically told us there wasnt anything they could do!!

The Viking appliances came as a package with the house that I purchased and I was like, “Wow, these are really good appliances in the place.” I just had contact with Viking Refrigerators when I was registering the appliances. I needed to register them for them to be serviced under warranty. But I was a little surprised that sometimes the serial numbers and product numbers didn’t go into the side of the appliances. Then I would call Viking Refrigerators and they gave me a procedure for dealing with this which made the whole process of registration a little more complicated. We just had our Viking refrigerator serviced because the ice maker was not working properly. Apparently, it was freezing the water on the way in. It took a while to get people to service the refrigerator, then they had to order the parts. It has been a week and a half now since the repair and the same thing is starting to happen again. Ive been seeing water freezing and dropping down, so I’m about to make another call to Viking Refrigerators in the next couple of days. When the technician repaired the refrigerator earlier, he said, “I’ve changed everything that I could. If this doesn’t work, I don’t know what else would.” But I was a little baffled that six months into living into my house, my super expensive, top-of-the-line Viking refrigerator didn’t work and then they serviced it, and now there’s water frozen. When the water seeps, it starts freezing, and the frozen thing eventually blocks the water in, and that was what also happened the last time. The quality of the Viking refrigerator seemed nice, but I was a little surprised that something so upscale with such a great reputation had this kind of failure in the first six months of its life. The refrigerator was covered under warranty because the Viking appliances came with the same one-year warranty that the builder gave. But Im going to reach out to Viking Refrigerators and find out if I can extend the warranty because I’m a little concerned and we’d love to have that extended warranty.

But with this fridge, they’re coming out the sixth time to try to repair it and they’re kind of slow to get it. I threw out two batches of food. I had ruined my cabinet and my floor since it leaked water all over it. I have asked Viking if they can fix that or if I have to pay for myself. The whole kitchen is brand new. This fridge came in a year ago with the whole brand new kitchen, new floors and new cabinets. I have never had a product this bad in my life. I thought I would be paying for quality but either I got really unlucky or something else is wrong.

At the beginning, I wasnt happy with Viking - they didn’t have good reviews. After I went to the store, the guy convinced me that they had changed and they were doing a better job with them. He told me to try it out and that if I didn’t like it, they would take it back. The refrigerator was making a noise and that was bothering me. We had a GE for 16 years and it was fantastic so when I started hearing the noise, I figured I made a mistake. We have called somebody to come and check it out, but they said everything was okay. I dont know if they adjusted something but after that, it’s been working pretty good. I like the bottom drawers of the refrigerator. It’s like a long drawer and has a nice size since I can put a lot of stuff in there. On the other hand, the toe grille was not put in properly. One side is lower on the floor and the other one is higher. Even though we try to screw it in, it doesnt do anything and it just keeps coming down. I was thinking of calling the other day about that because it was bothering me. But other than that, Im very happy with my Viking. I havent had any problems yet and I have it almost for a year now at the end of August.

My friend had a Viking range and recommended it to us. We didn’t have a place for a double oven in the wall, so I wanted a large range and the Viking range happened to be available. We were looking at Wolf initially but the Viking range that we found and purchased was with the dual fuel and it was also the floor model. So it was over the top, but our kitchen is over the top as well, so it went with our kitchen. Also, the quality of the range is wonderful. I like the convection oven that Ive never had before and I use it all the time. It definitely works a lot faster than other ovens. We received a lot of appliances with different brands from the Viking dealer and the reps there were good. When we first had the Viking range installed, the convection fan was really loud and would rattle the floor when we put the convection oven on. They had somebody come out and replace the fan. It still gets a little loud, but it doesn’t do anymore what it did before, and we hope that we don’t have to ever deal with that situation again. They definitely rectified the situation promptly and that was really good. I will go back to Viking Ranges.

I know about kitchen brands since we have a restaurant, and though Wolf is my favorite, I went with a Viking range for its size. I like the Wolf way better. I like the way the Wolf looks more commercial. Vikings a little modern for my liking but I enjoy that it fits in our tiny condo and its a commercial range. However, it was installed crooked and its still crooked. It slopes, so the trays slide out when Im cooking. Its dangerous when Im cooking greasy items. I dont know if the guy that installed it is also the reason why it doesnt ignite properly or if its a Viking problem, but it explodes when I try to light it. I havent been able to use it for quite some time and Ive tried to get the guy out to fix it. Ive reached out to them a couple of times but he is a no-show and a no-callback. My friend has a Viking range and hes had it since the mid 90s. Weve been to his house and used it numerous times. When we bought our house, it had a Thermador stove range and it started to die this year. It was 20 years old and the parts were unavailable anymore and Thermador wouldnt give us anything to help us out to replace it. So we got a Viking range and we have it for a month now. We like that the cooking temperature in the oven is accurate, and that its a professional size. It has six burners which is great on holidays. During the week, I just keep a griddle on the middle too. But for holidays, its perfect for doing all that cooking. The Viking range is made well and theyre made to last, unlike the newer ovens that are out there that last four or five years, and then you have to replace them.We got the range from Gerhards and the guy that we worked with was nice but he didnt have a really good knowledge of all the brands. When the installation guys unpacked the range and put it in, I asked where was the backsplash and they told me that I had to order it extra as it didnt come with this model. I would have bought it initially with the range if I had known that it didn’t come with any backsplash because it comes flat with just a small bump in the back for the heat distribution from the oven. So the guy at the store wasnt a great salesman. We bought a dishwasher from them previously and their installers were terrible, so I was a little leery of going back. But theyre a local company that has been in business for generations. The installers for this range were much nicer than the installer for the dishwasher. So, they did a much better job. But overall, Viking is a wonderful range and Id definitely recommend them to a friend.

The rep from the Viking dealership was really helpful. He pulled out the range and showed us the gas line and how it was going to be installed. Viking is supposed to be a really good range as far as reputation, but mine doesnt work. I turn it on, it reaches temp, the fan comes on and then it stops lighting. It just slowly winds down and stops, so a repairman came out and hes going to replace the computer board on it. He seemed like he knew what he was talking about and I expect that everything is going to turn out just fine after he gets that repair done. But first, the board has to come in and then hell call me to reschedule, which should be within two weeks. The elevation burners are pretty cool and they have a constant slow simmer. Im still happy with the range because some things not working could happen sometimes. Im a little more mellow than some people and Im not angry about it. The range came with a two-year full warranty and so far, everything has been covered. Luckily this year, Im having Thanksgiving at my daughters house so I dont need the stove done before that day. We were looking for a new kitchen. We went and looked at a lot of the upper-level kitchen appliances. We also looked at a number of different styles and brands, and we decided we really liked the Viking oven with the French doors. That’s where we based our whole purchase on. We took the next step that’s why we went with everything else.I love my Viking refrigerator and Viking oven. We cook a lot of fish and we also have the steamer microwave. That was another reason for our purchase as well. We like that. Everything’s been great. The only thing we’re not crazy about is the dishwasher. We’ve had it for over a year and the red light that shines from the bottom that lets you know that it’s running is out.It is also not easy to load. Theres not enough room on the top rack to load anything. If you have the large Tervis glasses, you can’t go wash it in the dishwasher because it’s not tall enough. The only place you can actually put anything tall is on the outside just where it is a little bit lower because that little rack with the silverware tray on the top really obstructs it. We’ve removed the rack but the framing for it is still there. It’s the design of it, unfortunately. Another issue that we have that continues to pop up is the cooktop. It has these brackets that hold it in place and you screw them in. It keeps loosening up and the whole cooktop slides around. The contractor sent somebody out and they tightened it back up, but it’s definitely not good. It just seems to loosen up.

We re-did our kitchen and we wanted nice appliances. I bought my Viking Refrigerator through an appliance place in Silver Spring. I researched online and I know its a high-end appliance. I also found the spec sheet and the warranty online. I bought Viking because of the name and the quality, but now, our refrigerator is a little over a year old and the icemaker broke. I have given to my daughter the cheapo refrigerator I took out of my kitchen when I bought the Viking refrigerator and that works fine. We already spent over $3000 on our Viking refrigerator and it should last longer than a little over a year. I like the refrigerator a lot with its space and the way its laid out, but I need ice and Ive been buying ice now for a couple of months. Ive owned a lot of refrigerators in my lifetime and Ive never had an icemaker go bad. Viking answered my phone calls but they were adamant. I have my own business and I dont treat my customers that way. When there is a problem, I take care of it. I was under the impression that I had a two-year warranty but Viking changes their warranty whenever they feel like it. The Viking rep told me that I should have looked at the floor model at the place where I bought it and reviewed the warranty there, but they didnt even have a floor model there. Since Im very persistent and I didnt give up, they finally agreed to supply the part after multiple phone calls. Then theyre supposed to send the part but they didnt and its another week I have to wait now. Im very disappointed for the amount of money I paid for this refrigerator. The cost to have the icemaker fixed, with the labor and everything, was $650 and that is a lot of money! I thought about getting a whole new refrigerator but they decided to replace it. So, hopefully, the new one wont go bad.

I’ve worked in restaurants for a very long time and I came to know about Viking Ranges. I decided to buy one from PC Richards since for a home oven, I wanted something that has more fire and a more professional look. I like it a lot. It’s a very good quality and high-powered oven and I like that the internal temperature is more accurate than most home ovens. I had some issues with the oven turning on and the pilots, but I had it serviced within a few months of buying it. I also had a problem with the little rubber stoppers on the underside of the grates that go over the burners. Those fall off all the time and it’s a hassle because I’m worried about the grate scratching the oven underneath when I take them off to clean and put them back on. But those little rubber things gone missing is probably the biggest issue I’ve had, which is good.

Electric Warming Drawer with Temperature SE, 1-Viking Professional 7 VDOF730SS 30 French Door Electric Double Wall Oven with 9.4 cu., 1-Viking RVM320SS 24; Wide 2.0 cu. ft. Microwave Oven with 16; Diameter Turntable, 2-Viking VDW302SS 24; 3 SERIES Energy Star Fully Integrated Dishwasher with 14 PLACE, 1-Viking VRCO5240DRSS 24; Outdoor Series Undercounter Beverage Center with 5.3 cu. ft.I chose Viking because of its reputation as an elite brand and their strong commitment to customer service, even though lesser brands seemed to offer more gadgets for less. My hope was that a big investment in appliances would mean less maintenance headache down the line and the Viking name will preserve the resale value for my house. Unfortunately, Ive had nothing but trouble since. Ive had multiple issues with the fridge (4 axial fans replaced, Defrost terminator replaced, defective bolt in fridge door replaced), the freezer (rust on the ice drawer), both dishwashers (electronic card/display already replaced on one and currently needs replacement on the other, Diverter valve replaced on the other), the microwave (electronic card/display currently needs replacement. It is worth mentioning that the appliances werent in use until late January 2017 since the house was still under construction. When all these issues started, Ive contacted your customer service number and was referred to one of your certified repair services, Executive Appliance Service in Garden Grove, CA. They can confirm all the issues mentioned above as they made NUMEROUS service calls to my house. I was about to call them again to replace the electronic display for both the dishwasher & the microwave when I realized that the amount of times Ive had to service those appliances is excessive & abnormal. Ive had to purchase a very basic appliance package for a guest house at the same time Ive purchased the Viking package and I havent had a single issue with them.Thats why I decided to to share my concerns with you and ask what could be done for me. Did I purchase what would be called a lemon in car terminology? Can you send someone to take a look at them? How can you help me with all the issues I mentioned & restore my trust in your brand? Thank you very much for your help & understanding. Looking forward to receiving your response.Their response was to cover parts only for the dishwasher. They wouldnt do anything about the microwave and said that rust inside the freezer is a cosmetic issue therefore would only give me %15 off their ice drawer which came out to $218.37. When I said that Id want them to cover parts and labor for the dishwasher & microwave, they refused. The appliances I purchased are most definitely defective. There are many similar complaints on the Better Business Bureau website. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!

I bought a house with a Viking range. I like the range, but I’m not happy with the oven --- I’m not able to really cook in the oven. The range, on the other hand, looks like a solid piece of equipment. The range is pretty and the stovetop cooking is my favorite feature.

New home with all stainless Viking appliances. Microwave great. Electric range, dont like the electric but good product. Refrigerator model RWFVRF1 with interior water system. This appliance has leaked since day 1. The water pooled in the bottom shelf of lower freezer section, iced up, and leak out onto floor often. Had appliance center come and put new drain tube in, which resolved this issue. The ice maker never made but a few cubes, and leaked within unit. The ice maker stopped working and now another $180 for repair. Now that we have ice, we have bigger leak problem onto floating wood floor, which now swelled and needs $1,600 repair. Really looking into replacing the fridge, but may need another Viking to match other appliances. UGH. Viking has been awful as to responding, nothing after trying to contact up to 28 times. They always refer you to appliance centers to fix - $$$ and still leaking. Maybe this is a fluke and the product is good, but not sure how to move forward here.
