Dishwasher Error Codes

F1E1 
Drain sequence will begin but then the dishwasher will not continue to operate once the F1E1 Error Code is displayed. 
1. Turn off water to the unit (if possible). 
2. Turn off power to the unit. If the water cannot be turned off, DO NOT turn off the power and keep the door closed. 
3. Press Cancel key one time to silence alarm tone.  

F6E1  
The product is either unable to start or resume cycles.  
Cycle (if one was running) continues to the end. 
A new cycle will not be able to be started. 

F8E4  
Check all the connection points. Be sure the rubber washer is properly seated in the fitting for any connection point. Slide the 3/4" (19 mm) fitting of the 90° elbow up to the valve and hand tighten it to avoid cross-threading. Hand tighten until the coupling is tight. Using pliers, check the tightness of the coupling. An additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn may be required to seal the rubber gasket. Make sure to route the fill hose out the rear left side of the unit. 

F8E5  
Drain sequence will begin, machine operation will be prevented. 
1. Turn off water to the dishwasher (if possible). 
2. Press Cancel key one time to silence alarm tone, then shut the door. DO NOT turn off the power and keep the door closed. 
3. If you are unable to turn the water supply off, then turn off power to the dishwasher. 

F9E1  
If the dishwasher is connected to a garbage disposer, be sure the knockout plug has been removed from the disposer inlet. 
Check for any food or obstructions caught in the drain or the garbage disposer. Run the disposer to clear the obstruction.  
Verify the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. A kinked or clogged hose can cause poor drainage or no drainage.  

FAE5 or F10E5  
The cycle ends, drains, and displays the error code.  
1. Press the "Cancel" key twice.  
2. Try to start a new cycle. 

H2O  
Cycle is paused. 
1. Ensure water supply is turned on to the dishwasher. 
2. Check to make sure there are no kinks in the water supply hose. 
3. Once water supply is corrected, press start and the dishwasher will attempt to fill and resume the cycle.

Microwave Error Codes

Here are some common error codes that may appear on your JennAir microwave, along with possible explanations and solutions: 

F1: This error code indicates a problem with the touchpad or the control panel. Unplug the microwave and check the touchpad for any damage or looseness. If the touchpad appears to be in good condition, the control panel may need to be replaced. 

F3: This error code indicates a problem with the oven temperature sensor. Unplug the microwave and check the sensor for any damage or looseness. If the sensor appears to be in good condition, it may need to be replaced. 

F5: This error code indicates a problem with the door latch. Check the door latch for any damage or looseness, and make sure that it is properly engaged when the door is closed. If the latch appears to be in good condition, it may need to be replaced. 

F9: This error code indicates a problem with the turntable motor. Unplug the microwave and check the turntable motor for any damage or looseness. If the motor appears to be in good condition, it may need to be replaced.

Range Error Codes

CODE: F0  
PROBLEM: Function key stuck.  
FIX: Replace touch pad or if touch pad is part of the clock, replace the clock (ERC). 

CODE: F1  
PROBLEM: Defective touch pad or clock (ERC).  
FIX: Replace touch pad or clock (ERC). Touch pad is a more common problem.  

CODE: F2  
PROBLEM: Oven temperature too hot.  
FIX: Replace relay board, if present, or oven temperature sensor (RTD). Check sensor harness. 

CODE: F3 or F4  
PROBLEM: Shorted or open oven temperature sensor (RTD).  
FIX: Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok. 

CODE: F5  
PROBLEM: Watchdog and hardware conflict.  
FIX: Replace clock (ERC). 

CODE: F7  
PROBLEM: Function key shorted or stuck.  
FIX: Replace touch pad or if touch pad is part of the clock, replace the clock (ERC). 

CODE: F8  
PROBLEM: Analog / Digital problem.  
FIX: Replace clock (ERC). 

CODE: F9  
PROBLEM: Door latch.  
FIX: Check door latch components.

Refrigerator Error Codes

Here are some common error codes that may appear on your JennAir refrigerator, along with possible explanations and solutions: 

PF: This error code indicates a power failure. If you see this code, check to make sure that the refrigerator is plugged in and that the outlet is functioning properly. If the power is on and the outlet is working, the control board may need to be replaced. 

ER: This error code indicates a problem with the electronic control board. Unplug the refrigerator and check the control board for any damage or loose connections. If the control board appears to be in good condition, it may need to be replaced.
