Had purchased a KitchenAid refrigerator new in September 2013. On January 3 the refrigerator broke AND WAS LEFT WITH NO REFRIGERATION. Being under warranty KitchenAid sent out their service repair service. On January 8, the service repair came and said they had to order a part. On January 14, service came back, installed part and that was not problem, had to order another another part. January 22 came, installed part, didnt work, said had to order another part. January 29 returned installed another part, still didnt work, said that new part installed was defective, had to order another part. On January 30, I called KitchenAid and stated that I wanted a different repair person and they would not do so because their repair service are qualified technicians. January 31, installed yet another part, didnt work and said it was unserviceable and wouldnt come back and refrigerator had to be replaced. KitchenAid said they would not replace but wanted to get another opinion. February 6, 2nd company came out and wanted to order more parts. In the meantime, we have Four children and have been LEFT WITHOUT A REFRIGERATOR for excessive amount of time. Never seen service like this before. Please help because in the middle of all this more than several phone calls transpired and its obvious that no one at KitchenAid could care less that a family is left without a refrigerator.

We started having issues with our KitchenAid dishwasher, KUDS301XBLO, potscrub light staying on just after the one-year warranty was up, but we were able to reset it. Then we noticed the dishes were not getting clean and the potscrub light was staying on. It will not even complete a cycle. We have only had this dishwasher 1 and 1/2 years. I called to ask about the 2- to 5-year warranty that covers all parts of defective equipment and was told I had to pay $129 service call for them to come and look at it, then I would have to pay for parts. I was offered to buy an extended warranty for $259. That seems like a lot for a dishwasher that cost more than $800 a year ago. I have been reading that the control panels have been malfunctioning and starting fires. I am very upset that this higher end dishwasher is less reliable than a $400 one. I have also read that the manufacturer is aware of this problem and has failed to recall this product.

I have owned a KitchenAid Gas Range/Convection Oven KGSA906PSS for several years. I attempted to use the self-clean feature for the first time ever yesterday. I wished I had searched for KitchenAid complaints on this website first. Apparently, I am one of many who has burned up the oven control panel by merely using a feature of the oven. How is this possible that there is no recall or product support from KitchenAid for such a common problem and obvious product defect? I called KitchenAid and as you can guess from their low ratings on this and other sites. They were zero help and I got the impression they could care less if any of us ever buy a KitchenAid product again. They should be happy to know that I in fact would never buy another KitchenAid product or recommend that anyone else ever does. The repair (punishment) cost is estimated at $600. This is a repair for attempting to use the oven clean feature one time. One of the features we looked for on an oven although for some reason (thankfully) we didnt use. This represents a full 45 percent of the ovens purchase price and yet KitchenAid has no assistance or comment. Good Job, KitchenAid. I hope this experience helps somebody make a wiser purchase decision.

Superba YKEBC107KM - 2 issues; Door hinges seized and new thermostat blew after one self clean. 2 authorized repairmen failed to fix my door hinge problem. The 2nd guy said it would be $600 parts & labor in addition to the $150 service call that left my oven torn apart! I ordered new hinges and receivers from Partselect.ca and installed them myself. All good. I thought it would be smart to replace the 12 year old thermostat while I had the unit out. The replacement thermostat blew with the first self clean cycle. Partselect sent me a replacement which I just installed (now Im a pro at working on this unit!). I suspect the part is NOT at fault. Its more likely the lack of ventilation in the cabinet space to dissipate the extreme heat created during self clean. The thermostat is actually working properly. It senses the operating temperature has risen beyond what the components can handle and shuts it down. Unfortunately, this solution is not prioritized by manufacturers and technicians. The feature is what sells more units. So its true; more bells and whistles doesnt necessarily mean better! KA will not give consumers any insight into repair of their products. It is a racket that insulates the manufacturers through the technicians, financed by the consumer.

I purchased a new home in February of 2014. As part of the purchase, I upgraded all the builder appliances to top of the line KitchenAid appliances. Shortly after the initial warranty expired, I started having issues with all the appliances. $9,000 Fridge - the freezer is icing over and leaking on the floor. Dishwasher - cheap plastic bracket broke; cost me $300 to fix. Microwave oven - display panel malfunctioning and microwave light went off. Light stopped working after a year. You can buy a cheap microwave at Sears and the light wont go out for 10 years. Stove - this one is fresh, after you light the stove and walk away, the auto light clicker continues to go off. I would never buy these products again.

I have a KitchenAid dishwasher (Model #: KUDP01FLSS6) that has had a repairman work on 15 times. As many have encountered with this particular model, the green blinking light always means that there is no fix. KitchenAid knew exactly what was going on after a flood of complaints began to occur shortly after putting this product on the market. To date, I have had 12 motherboards installed at $100.00 a piece and every other electrical part that is on the unit. Again, I do have a warranty but KitchenAid knew that they have a problem with a large dishwasher group and refuse to address it. The bottom line is this: do not buy KitchenAid products! They do not stand by their products at all.

If your dishes have a white film on them - that isnt the dishwasher. That means you have hard water, complain to your water company. To get the film off your dishes, put three cups of white vinegar in the bottom of your dishwasher and put your dishwasher soap in as usual on run your cycle. The best brand out there to help get rid of hard water spots on the glassware is Finish Brand Quantum tablets.

I bought this expensive piece of crap in November 2017 and it hasn’t worked since day one! I have repeatedly called the 800 number with no satisfaction. The first time it took them 6 months to get the part they said was not working and when they finally showed up yesterday May 25 it only worked a few hours and died again. I called service again and they refuse to give me a new refrigerator and couldn’t come out today to fix it even though I have once again lost everything in my refrigerator. The person named Pat on their service line refused to transfer me to someone with any decision making authority and refused to do anything more than schedule service again. I will never ever buy KitchenAid again and believe me the world is going to hear about this. I have been more patient than any human should have to be without a refrigerator and without any satisfaction from a company that sold me a defective piece of equipment and refuses to do anything about it. DO NOT BUY KITCHENAID APPLIANCES.

Bought a KitchenAid fridge, French doors, freezer on bottom two years ago for total kitchen remodel - all Kitchenaid appliances. I have had multiple programs with numerous appliances. I now have WATER from the ice maker coming out on my gorgeous hardwood floor and ruining the cherry cabinet around the fridge. My side-by-side fridge/freezer I bought 22 yrs ago from Sears and moved to the basement is working fine... NEVER required a service call. I used to be a KitchenAid fan. NO MORE. I would NEVER buy another KitchenAid product. No wonder they try so hard to sell extended warranties. They are selling junk and its NOT cheap.

After having a KitchenAid dishwasher that ran well for 11 years, we purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher from Sears on 6/11. This was model KUDS30FSSX2. In November of 12, wheels came off the upper rack and soon after, the motor wouldnt start. It would hum and then not go further in cycle. We had a repairman look at it. He said the motor was bad and that KitchenAid would not replace it. We paid for a replacement (about $400). The wheels on the upper rack were replaced after we complained to Whirlpool. There was never one trip here. They had to call for parts which were sent in about a week. Now, the motor will again not start and we are waiting to get help again. We never talk to the same person twice. The reports above match our experience. This is the same experience we had many years ago with our SAAB auto. They of course are now out of business and their employees lost their jobs. Im sure the execs were well compensated. KitchenAid and their owner, Whirlpool, are headed for the same future. I feel sorry for the employees, but this is what will happen when quality and buyer satisfaction no longer counts. Needless to say, we will never purchase another KitchenAid product or a Whirlpool made product which are marketed under names like Kenmore, etc. Sears too has been no help.

I have a Superba Gas range. Im not sure how old it is since it came with the house. But we have spent hundreds of dollars in repairs. It started with the self clean option. It didnt blow out our panel, but warped, or melted some of the frame, and other moving parts. We have never been able to keep our oven door shut properly ever since. After calling the repair guy, he says the oven door hinges needed replacing. Expensive, but okay we did it. About 6 months later, the same thing happened. We needed to use a step ladder pushed against the door to keep it shut while cooking. About 2 months after that, the panel blew. Another expensive repair. One year later, our broiler no longer works, the door, is literally falling apart, and although the rest of it works, there are no lights on our panel, timer doesnt work, clock is off, cant even see what the temp is.At this point we are just letting it die instead of fixing it. Especially when the repair guy (after 3 visits about the ajar door) said he just doesnt know what else to do. After reading several forums, I have to say that the self clean function is the worst enemy of any oven, and it should be removed. Hide all the elements to make it easy to clean with soap and water, and thats good for me. There is no point in having the technology, if they cant see how it negatively affects and breaks the rest of the oven.

I am deeply dissatisfied with KitchenAids customer service, in particular with their Whirlpool Factory Certified Care. In June of 2011, I called KitchenAid customer service about a broken spring for my microwave oven door. They recommended a local certified KichenAid appliance repair shop. I spent $411.67 on replacing one broken spring. Just eight months later in 4/2012, the spring broke again and cracked the glass on the door in the process. This time, the KitchenAid customer care recommended their new company, Factory Certified Care. I was unhappy about the spring breaking again so soon from the previous repair. And I was guaranteed that their own KitchenAid technicians, who only deal with KitchenAid products, provide a stellar repair service. However, the repair took two long days, and the technicians used graphs, sketches to figure out how parts go together, without seeming to be the experts they promised to be. Nevertheless, after the replacement of many parts, I paid another $463.63. Only 53 days later, two screws came falling out, unhinging the door. What kind of poorly made parts, workmanship and quality of service renders screws falling out some short weeks after a service call? I called their customer service immediately relating this problem and found their representatives completely frustrating and unhelpful. I asked to speak to the supervisor twice, and they were equally unpleasant. They knew only to recite their 30-day labor guarantee policy. Even if the part (screws/ brackets that was replaced) was under warranty, I am looking at spending at least another $100 just to have someone put back two screws. Furthermore, given my experience, what faith do I have that the screws they put back or other parts that they replaced/assembled recently wont be falling apart again just outside of the 30 days, rendering me to pay another sum for service call? I asked the supervisor why anyone in my situation would ever use their service again or purchase their products. They did not seem to care one way or another. There is absolutely no business that will thrive or sustain without reliability and a positive reputation. I spent two frustrating hours speaking with their customer service representatives to find myself at a dead end. I wrote to their customer service department to share this excruciating experience and never received a reply.

KFIV29PCMS00 - We got that fridge on January 2014 - so its 2 years and 4 months. The icemaker has never been performant - slow to make ice, but were not using it much so we didnt complained. About a year after we noticed iced was starting to build at the back of the top cabinet near the ice maker. We phone to KitchenAid and were told it was normal and to not worry about since the performance was the same. Yet 2 weeks ago we found all the ice was melting - cubes were soft and wet. We turned it off, but the next day we found the freezer was also melting, then all the refrigerator was not providing cold air at all. Called KitchenAid, the clerk is telling me nothing Ive said is under warranty. Then I told her Have you ever heard about Legal Warranty, and 30 secs later she came back and told me I will have nothing to pay.2 days later, the tech finally came in and said, the second evaporator had a leak so all the coolant leaked out and he had to replace it and also replace all the ice cube mechanism. A week later he comes back with all the parts to do the repair, but then as he opened the back cabinet he found it was filled with stains and black mold. All that comes from the water leaking from the ice maker, dripping inside the fridge and accumulating, then evaporating (from the anti-ice). So we were unaware of that water accumulating inside the cabinet (not accessible) and gradually forming mold (black mold and worst). Now my kitchen is full with refrigerator parts everywhere. The tech has gone as he doesnt want to work on the rotten refrigerator, and Im being ping pong at KitchenAid service and no one is telling me what to do and what will happened. The tech told me the cabinet cannot be replaced and cleaning all that mold is almost impossible. In other words he can only think about replacing the fridge altogether but KitchenAid is not responding. We paid high $$ (almost $3k) thinking we would be free of such problems, but were ending up with that situation after only 2 years. The previous fridge lasted 18 years and never had any issue before 17 years, and the one before that was second hand and lasted 20 years. Im pretty mad and discourage.

The dishwasher functioned marginally for about a year and then got worse. Theoretically, it works, so it cannot be fixed. It runs through the cycle normally, but the dishes do not come out clean. They have grease films, coffee stains, fingerprints, and spots. All of this must be removed by hand washing. Not much point in having a dishwasher. I have tried the longest cycle and additives of all sorts, but nothing helps.

I have a Kitchenaid Range KGSC308LSSO, purchased in 2003. Main control panel needs to be replaced again! The problem is that the range turns on by itself (500 degrees - time sets for 33+ hours!) This was witnessed by unbelieving repairman on 11/07/2011.This will be the third control panel in this expensive unit in 7 1/2 years. We purchased a Kitchen Aid counter-depth refrigerator in July 2021. By September it stopped working and has been inoperable since (4 months later). We have had 7 service appointments during this time; each time the technician assured us the issue was repaired but the fridge never got below 76 degrees. We requested a replacement refrigerator several times but were told the warranty would only cover repairs and we were locked into using their repair service provider. I dont know any other business that could take a customers money (almost $2,500) and deprive them of a working product. If I tried their approach with my companys clients, I would be sued or out of business or both. Horrible experience.

I have purchased a KitchenAid oven. Never again. It takes over 12 minutes to heat up. All the while it is running, it is loud. The burners take forever to get hot also. I have also purchased a refrigerator. The ice maker is awful...Its too small and doesnt make ice fast enough. The other product from KitchenAid I purchased is a front load washer and dryer. The washer needs to be cleaned all the time. I was not told that. The dryers lint catcher, for a large capacity dryer, is so small, its ridiculous. None of these things were mentioned to me. I would have never purchased these appliance if I knew! Very upset buyer.

I like the appearance of a counter depth refrigerator with no grungy water/ice dispenser on the outside - it has a filtered water dispenser on the inside. As far as performance it keeps a perfect 38 degrees, and nothing spoils due to too high or low temperature. My only complaint, a mild one, is that the freezer is on the small side and I have to remember that when I go shopping.

I purchased a KitchenAid refrigerator. I could never get the ice maker out. Later found out it was stuck shut. At about 11 months I notices residue on the bottom of my glass after my drink sat. The volume of the powdery substance was quite substantial and noticeable. I really worked on the ice maker and forced it open. There was a pile of white powder inside the ice maker and on the sides of the interior. I cleaned it thoroughly removing all white power and thought the problem was solved. They just forgot to clean it before shipping it. After cleaning it the water/ice was clear. Within 3 months I noticed the white powder was back in my drinks. I cant believe how much of this powder I must have ingested. I called KitchenAid. Sorry you are out of warranty. I suggested they come out and get a sample of this white powder and identify it as harmless or toxic, if not for me then other who may have not noticed it. Sorry your out of warranty. Can I send you a sample of this powder and you can tell me what it is and if it is normal to be in my drinks. No. CAUTION!! LOOK in the bottom of your glass after the ice has melted. Dont let your children drink this substance. Write me if you have had similar experience.

I have had KitchenAid dishwasher for a few years. I have not been, and am not happy with this product. We have had trouble with it almost constantly. The control panel has been replaced more than once, we have had to replace several parts on it, and the general service I have had from it is not satisfactory. Now the heating element is not working. We paid a lot for this appliance thinking we would get excellent service because of the KitchenAid reputation. This unit has been pulled out and apart and repaired more than I think is acceptable. When this unit gets replaced, I am thinking I will be going to another brand. It is aggravating to open this unit and find it has not drained, the dishes are not dry, or some other problem has become obvious. Perhaps a lot of people like this dishwasher, but I for one do not.

Either the top or the bottom oven will not heat, the igniters on the burners has gone out several times. When we tried to find a repairman, there is not one in available anywhere in our area. We have tried several local repairmen. They replace numerous parts and we have been charged $200 to $300 dollars each time. The website for KitchenAid has been absolutely no help at all. KDRS483VSS - DO NOT BUY KITCHENAID RANGES!! They dont know how to repair them and their policy is not to replace them but to repair them. I am talking about an $8000 dual fuel range that I have waited years to purchase only to find out that once it was delivered the only thing working properly was the gas top. This is a very classy looking expensive piece of JUNK metal. The hinges on the large oven dont pull the door closed enough to turn off the oven light and you have to press the door in to turn light off. I now have no working ovens at all and this was through the Thanksgiving Holidays. No one cared!!! The oven shows several error codes and now just does nothing. I thought that KitchenAid was a reputable company but that is not the case. This is a known problem with these units. After many complaints still no results!!

KitchenAid Refrigerator Model #KSSC42QVS00; part #10219462 - Total frustration! They should be more accommodating to us and all who have filed complained on this site. We purchased our $8,000 refrigerator from Slyman Brothers in St. Louis in 2009. A couple of months ago it started making a hissing sound and finally quit working about 3 weeks ago. We call a certified KitchenAid service agent, very helpful, but found no help via KitchenAid or Whirlpool. He was advised to order a board that we received a few days later. The service technician returned only to find out it did not fix the problem. He was then advised by KitchenAid that it needed another part - part #W10219462. After some investigating, we were told by KitchenAid that that part was no longer available. I checked further and found a generic part that Sears claimed would work. That part was delivered, wrong part once again. We again called Sears and they ordered another part, which we received today, and it too was the wrong part. We were told by the Sears part department that they could not obtain that part. It was no longer made. This is a real problem. Here we are, left with this beautiful refrigerator that doesnt work because they no longer make the replacement part. I am not stopping here!

We purchased a NEW KitchenAid refrigerator 24 months ago. We were advised by family to always buy extended warranty on refrigerator regardless of brand because “they aren’t well made anymore.” We purchased warranty and accepted poor standard for expensive appliance. Within 1 yr the ice maker stopped working. Within 2 years the refrigerator side stopped holding adequate temperature. The warranty covered both repairs. What was more disappointing is the “styrofoam” part that was removed from the refrigerator. The service repair technician left the old part as evidence that they removed and installed true manufactured parts (from Whirlpool). I took pictures and will upload if that feature is available in this review. How much money did KitchenAid save by installing a large styrofoam part in their expensive product. It’s too bad consumers don’t have better options and shouldn’t expect more.

I purchased a new KitchenAid model KUDL15FXSS5 for a house I moved into in January of this year. It was professionally installed and seemed to be operating properly when I ran it with normal load of dishes. The dishes did not come clean. There was food still on the plates and silverware. Soap was still draining from the detergent tray. I was perplexed. To give some background, I had been living across the street from my new location for 2 years in a house with the same water supply (main), using a 10-year-old dishwasher, using the same Cascade liquid detergent (recommended brand), getting great results. The only new variable is the dishwasher. I tried again using the ProWash cycle, same results.I added the recommended rinse aid, same results. I took out the dishes and washed them by hand. I then tried the dishwasher again with another load of dishes, still not clean. I ran the sink water until it was hot then tried again, still no improvement. I went online to the KitchenAid site and submitted a detailed problem report but never received a response. I finally called KitchenAid, went through all the call center questions and set up a service call. The technician spent about 30 minutes running through diagnostics only to tell me that everything checked out. He suggested the problem could be hard water or my detergent. When explained that Ive been living in the neighborhood for two years, his comment was, Well, they dont make them like they used to.I asked about the heater since it seemed to me that the water never got very hot. He indicated that energy star compliance has reduced the heater output to the point that it may impact cleaning performance. Long story short, Ive used KitchenAid products for 40 years. They were a good brand. Current product performance is not acceptable. The company does not seem to care. I guess Ill go to Goodwill and try to find a good used one.

I bought a KitchenAid Refrigerator Model KRFC300ESS01 in March, 2017 when I remodeled my kitchen. It is truly the worst refrigerator I have ever owned. It makes loud noises that a refrigerator should not be making. I have had the repairmen out 4 or 5 times because of loud popping and clicking, vibrating noises and because my food is freezing... not just in one area but all over the place... frozen eggs, fruit, etc. They have replaced one part in the back of the fridge twice and it is now broken again! I am going to give the refrigerator away because it is not worth selling and get one that works and does not wake me up at night with loud noises! And I can guarantee it will not be a Whirlpool product!

Three years ago my husband and I purchased the newest top of the line KitchenAid dishwasher V103111213, energy star. It does not clean dishes. If I put even one dish in the wrong place, several dishes above do not get washed. Take a top load with two small plates in the bottom. Coffee mugs on the top dont get cleaned. This is a disappointment. KitchenAid used to be the best. This is the worst dishwasher I have owned. Even our bottom of the line, Frigidaire did a much better job.

KUDS30Ixss8 8 months old grinding like mad. Repair guy comes say the food chopper in dishwasher probably wasnt lined up right, wore away the part. Racks are chintzy, lot of money for cheap made piece of junk, when it WORKS!!! It cleans great, just not dependable. Service guy said when I ask him, why are kitchen appliances so undependable these days, he says, They make these to last about 5 yrs then you better be looking to replace them. I said, Remember the old Maytag commercial where the service guy had nothing to do? Well there must be a reason they dont run that commercial anymore, because no matter what brand you buy they are all JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I called KitchenAid, they wanted $150.00 to check it out and I was told that the life of appliances is only about 8 yrs! Wow! KitchenAid is now crossed off my list of worthy appliance makers along with GE! This is my third appliance to break down within three yrs. The other two were GE products, a monogram dishwasher and refrigerator! I cannot believe how, we as consumers, are being scammed by these big companies who offer no help!

Remodeled our kitchen 7 years ago and got my dream refrigerator. Worked fine until 3 months ago when we noticed it was almost constantly running. Called Whirlpool for warranty repair. Finds out only needs small part but it is encapsulated and no one makes the board it is on, so it cannot be repaired. $2500 for 7 years is not in my budget. The warranty gave us less than half our cost. It looks like all the other refrigerators are just as poorly made. I loved my refrigerator. Why cant they make parts for their appliances?

Our double oven KEBS207DBL8 is approximately 10 years old, and we have had nothing but problems with it. The electronic touch control pad has gone out on it, in its fourth year. The upper cooling fan has been replaced, the front door has been replaced, and currently, it sounds like a diesel truck idling when the unit is turned on. Our Kitchenaid appliance is not the quality product we expected when purchased, and we will certainly avoid all Kitchenaid products from here forward.

This control panel went bad less than 24 months after we purchased the dishwasher. KitchenAid wanted almost $300 for the control panel PLUS a service call. We did without the unit for a few months and researched it on the Internet as we had time. After some clues & leads, we were able to obtain the correct part number and find a wholesale price for it. Although it tested our skills, we installed the panel ourselves and the unit returned to normal operation. We think that KITCHENAID intentionally creates sub-standard parts for assembly of its appliances for the purpose of selling service & parts. Our four year old unit has been serviced twice. An alarming fact that we are learning is that having paid high dollar for matching appliances and appliances which were toted as top of the line we only brought in units that carry this KITCHENAID name but in reality are Whirlpool & Maytag manufacture. Its all a game we think. An interesting side note: we bought this unit from SEARS & SEARS installed it. During the initial warranty of the unit, we smelled something burning and called SEARS. They came out and found that the wire nuts used to connect the washers electrical system to the black pigtail that plugs in the wall were at fault. The initial installers had rushed through the install and not connected them tightly enough. We were charged $130 for this service call. When I asked why the install event wasnt used to cover the issue, the SEARS service tech said that the installation was only warranted for 30 days. We have ceased doing all business with SEARS.

I called KitchenAid and purchase extended warranty (my fridge is only 1 year and 2 months old). The warranty is for a year from factory. KitchenAid uses an third party to come diagnose the problem, and they dont even take the time to troubleshoot and fix it. I will never again buy a KitchenAid product. Their business is horrible and they dont give a ** about the consumer. This is unbelievable and Im going on three weeks without my refrigerator being fixed. Every time I call, its a different story. It will be a miracle if it ever gets fixed... Do not buy Kitchen Aid... Never again.

I have had problems with my KitchenAid gas range right out of the box. I purchased it for $2500 about 4 years ago. Just after the first year, self-igniting elements failed, so I phoned customer service - the worst customer service I have ever experienced! In short, a $500 repair bill to have a tech repair the problem. I have been using a lighter ever since! The convention oven worked 50% of the time. After one year, I finally have to go buy a new oven after only 4 years because the pilot failed to ignite the gas oven - very dangerous part to fail. I will never buy another KitchenAid product as long as I live. KichenAid Brand is owned by Whirlpool, and I will purchase any product Whirlpool sells. Purchased all new appliances 4 years ago, worst mistake and purchase ever made. Our KitchenAid fridge, oven, dishwasher and microwave were all replaced 4 times. That was by the store we bought them from NOT the actual company as KitchenAid will not replace their defective junk. The fridge we have now was purchased in 2016 and has been repaired 3 times already, currently pending a fourth repair after having to fight with the executive office this morning. Our fridge is making the loudest vibrating noise you can’t stand to stay in our 3600sq ft home. Customer service could get someone out by the 26th! Two weeks away. I called the service company they schedule at and they luckily had a cancellation tomorrow but told me it’s not under warranty. KitchenAid sent over the old fridge they replaced model number and warranty info., which, it would still have been covered. When I called executive management again today they wanted to blame me saying there are so many files. It’s hard to find things. So I had to give Nikisha the work order number her customer service gave me! Then she said, Oh, it was a manual submission. Seriously?! Then I had to read the warranty to her from the book I was given about how the warranty works. Horrible appliances, horrible customer service and I dread tomorrow as every time service comes out it requires a part and parts take 2-4 weeks to receive!

Bought the range in March of this year for my mom. The salesman said the KitchenAid was a good brand (upper middle market), it has good looks, and a large oven. What he failed to mention is that they typically last 3-4 weeks, and you shouldn’t use them for cooking or they may get damaged :(. Within days of use enamel started falling off in the oven cavity - very dangerous when it lands on food, a couple months after the plastic door trim started peeling off and lately the cooktop scratched. We are extremely careful with all our appliances, we still use our green Admiral stove from the 60s and it is mint condition - I don’t understand how the KitchenAid stove can be so poorly built. I thought I was getting better value but in hindsight I should have gotten the basic GE stove. In conclusion, I do not recommend the stove, unless it is for display only, you are better off getting one at Goodwill.

Frustrated and disappointed with KitchenAid regarding refrigerator model number KSC23C8EYY03 bought new in October 2014. Purchased refrigerator in October 2014 for residential use. In May 2016, owners observed ice accumulation behind the crisper drawers of the refrigerator. Items in fridge were not being cooled to appropriate temperature and freezer cold but not adequately freezing contents. Not under warranty at that time, owners called a local service company to review situation and a part was replaced.Owner then purchases a warranty, which was enacted in September 2016 when the same issue presented itself. Since then KitchenAid warranty has been called - February 2017, July 2017, October 2017, February 2018 and now April 26, 2018 - all for the same issue. The refrigerator is essentially inoperable during each service request every 2-5 months, resulting in food spoilage and loss of money. Owners are aware of the Lemon Law, however, there is no recognition on KitchenAid Warranty’s part on customer frustration regarding the investment of money into a product that has simply proven 6 times over that it does not work. It wasn’t until speaking with a KitchenAid Warranty supervisor today (April 2018) that owner was informed about the option of filing a food loss claim (again, after dealing with KitchenAid Warranty 5 times since September 2016). We again are having the refrigerator serviced, with the expectation that any repair would prove fruitless, a part will be replaced that won’t get us closer to a Lemon Law review, and resulting in a temporary fix that would need to again be serviced in 3 months time. The service repair technician who has serviced the unit all 6 times is equally frustrated that the solutions given to them by KitchenAid Warranty does not fully resolve the situation.

The company repairman from Platinum Factory Service came back again, ten days later, and replaced a board and wire assembly. We have a Kitchenaid KUDI01FLSS2 dishwasher. It came with the house we purchased six years ago - the unit was about 1 year old at the time. We have had constant problems: touch panel failed ($200), control board failed ($250), heater element failed which required a heater control board upgrade (design defect) ($250), chopper failed three times ($30 ea), door hinges failed, numerous plastic interior parts failed (all are overpriced), the door latch has a fundamental design problem (we have to use a clamp to keep the door from popping open in cycle). I am an engineer and was able to do all the repairs myself which saved hundreds of additional dollars. The dishwasher is a $1000 piece of junk. I would have scrapped in early on if I had only known!

My husband and I purchased a custom home in November of 2010. We wanted high end appliances in our new kitchen and have about $25K in KitchenAid products in our kitchen. The largest expense was our built-in refrigerator (model number KSSC42KVS). We paid $8,000.00 for this supposed high end refrigerator. 2 and a half years later, it sits completely dead in my kitchen. The past 3 months have been a nightmare. First, the ice maker assembly had to be replaced at a cost of about $400.00. The cheap plastic arm that closes the ice chute stopped working and allowed warm air to move into the freezer, then the compressor kicked in overtime trying to cool the compartment. 3 days after the ice maker was replaced, the refrigerator side stopped holding its temperature. The compressor would kick on, the freezer would drop to -10 and the fridge temp would go up to 56-60 degrees. The repairman was out again. This time he replaced the damper door assembly which allows the air to move from the freezer side into the the fridge side. Cost me $700.00. Again, everything was OK for about the 3 days and then the same problem happened again. The repairman was out again and this time replaced the thermistors. Again 3-4 days works properly, then compressor kicks on, freezer down to -10 and fridge up to 56. All this time my technician is conferring with Whirlpool technical support and following their recommendations. Now Whirlpool says the main circuit board is bad. It cannot be repaired because all of the inventory was wiped out by the tsunami in 2010. I will have to wait 2-3 weeks while my board is shipped out to a 3rd party vendor to be rebuilt. Now I am out another $600 as we had to buy a cheap fridge to put in our garage because my $8,000.00 is unusable. The board comes in, the repairman puts it in and within an hour after him leaving, the whole fridge just shuts off. The rebuilt board is bad. The repairman is back with a new board.. The fridge works fine for 3 days and then on June 27th, the same problem is back. I let it run for a couple of days and by the 29th, now the freezer isnt holding temp either. Both fridge and freezer are at 60 degrees. I called the repairman again and he tells me that Whirlpool is saying that they are out of ideas. My 2-year-old, $8,000.00 refrigerator has some electrical problem and it cannot be repaired. I will have to buy a new one. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? If I would have known what terrible quality KitchenAid is, I would have spent another $1,000.00 back in 2010 and bought a Sub Zero. Please do not be fooled into thinking that KitchenAid is high end and high quality!

My 5-year old KitchenAid dishwasher (Model: KUDP02FRSS3) pops open during run cycle. I have had 6 or 7 service calls, and none of which have fixed the problem for a few weeks or months. When working, we have good results as far as cleaning is concerned, unlike some other KitchenAid owners. I cannot count the number of times we have used a chair propped up against the door to complete a cycle. The door striker and/or latch have been replaced 3 times, while the springs and nylon cord have been replaced once.During this repair, the tech bent the hinges inward and installed a single rubber bushing on one of the hinges to increase friction with the door in the closed position. He would have installed 2, but he only had one. The door did stay closed for 2 or 3 months. Eventually, the single bushing worked its way off. Probably because the original hinge was not designed for this bushing. During my third most recent service call, the tech installed a new plastic latch. The machine would close but it would not start.I checked the CB and was advised on the phone to do a hard reset (i.e., leaving the CB off for 30 seconds or so). This did not solve the problem. When the tech returned, he was stumped by this problem. Looking at the new latch, I figured out the problem - the latch requires a wider striker to activate the power switch. The tech then installed the correct striker for the new latch. The door closed and the dishwasher worked for 2 or 3 days.My wife was afraid to tell me it stopped working again. When she did, I set up another service call. The same tech came out with no parts on his truck. He tried to bend the striker so it would stay latched - no go, the door would not stay closed. He then removed the door sea and found that the door striker and latch open with almost no effort. He decided to order a new latch and striker assembly - a new door seal and new hinges. These should come next week and when I get them, I have to call for another service appointment, which I should get 1-2 weeks after my call.In the meantime, I am using a small metal L bracket and a C clamp so we can use the dishwasher. There is no doubt that this product is defective in design construction and materials. I have spoken to KitchenAid and they claim no problems with this machine. In the end, KitchenAid/Whirlpool will get what they deserve, fewer customers! Fortunately, I have had an extended warranty from Sears and just extended it for a year. The lemon law requires 4 repairs within the preceding 12 months, the fourth being within 60 days of the third repair. Should the next repair fail, I will use every resource available to get a new machine, obviously not a KitchenAid, including filing a claim in small claims court.

KitchenAid does not take responsibility for damage done to your personal property. KitchenAid also contracts with a repair company called A&E. A&E gives you a time frame for repair between 8 am and 5 pm, so to say the least we have lost out on vacation time as we need to take a day off for repair. Each time the repair guy comes additional damage is done - most times they forget to have ordered the necessary parts, so need to reschedule to come back out. This last time I phone KitchenAid who told me the service guy could deem the appliance a lemon, however the service guy told us they would not allow him to do this. A&E has put into repairs on this dishwasher over $800 and we paid $535 for the item. Last week A&E came out again, it ran well before they left. The next day I went to run the dishwasher and bolts popped off and the unit gushed water. Seriously! My recommendation would be research your product well, not purchase a service contract through KitchenAID and ask if the service repair company contracted with is A&E. Bad experience and the poorest customer service ever!

My 1-year-old electric steam oven (KEBU107SSS03) blew the inner glass on self-clean mode. This was the first time I ever used the self-clean mode. I followed the instructions in the manual on self-clean in detail. The mode was set to regular and time given was 3 hrs 30 min. After 1 hr., I heard a loud explosion. The inner glass was shattered. I now await what KitchenAid will do.

I purchased a KitchenAid induction double oven range, model KSIB900ESS1 through my home builder, who installed it in July 2017. We moved into the home August 1. It worked correctly until October, although the induction burners make a lot of noise. In October the ovens quit working. We called KitchenAid, who sent an appliance repairman out in two days. A week later we hear nothing from the appliance guy. After several calls, I found out that the part that needed replaced did not exist. Confused, I called KitchenAid again and asked for another repairman. This one came out, found the problem, and located a replacement board within a week. I preheated the top oven two hours after he left and both of the ovens quit again. It is now a week later (tomorrow will be a month without an oven) and we are no further along in getting this fixed. Added to that: today I received a large box on my doorstep from KitchenAid (which I did not order) that I think might contain pots and pans that I dont need. Im afraid to open it because I dont want them saying I accepted pots and pans in lieu of a workable oven. What the heck is going on with this company?? Two days til Thanksgiving but we wont be able to cook anything in the oven this year. Thank goodness the range still works or wed be eating microwaved everything.

Im a building contractor. Ive installed many different brands of appliances, from the very expensive to the low end disposable ones. About twenty years ago KitchenAid made a good, reliable, and well priced fridge. It was easily installed with well thought-out and user friendly adjustments for installation. For years I felt confident in recommending KitchenAid as a well-balanced alternative to higher end appliances or European appliances. In 2009 I purchased the full KitchenAid kitchen. Everything about my KitchenAid kitchen has been nothing less than disappointing, from the supplier, to the service, to the parts supplier. KitchenAid is now the disposable appliance at a rich price. I WILL spend the extra, and buy European and will verify it is NOT made in China/PRC!

Bought a new side by side with ice maker from Sears in Feb 2012. By July noticed my floor was swollen and wet. Called the tech out. It had a crack in the water valve so it had a slow leak for months. The tech said he never sees these crack. Told me to call Whirlpool. Did, they told me to call Sedgewick which handles the insurance claims. Then Sedgewick told me they couldnt do anything because I didnt have the broke part. How is the average consumer suppose to know to keep it? The tech took it with him. How nice for them. Sedgewick told me to call Whirlpool back. Did, no answer. Had to leave message. Did that twice. Then I went to Sears, said they would look into it. Havent heard a peep. Needless to say have to turn it into my insurance for the 6000.00 damage to the floor you can see, doesnt include the sub floor that might be damaged or the mold that might be under there. This has been a ongoing thing for over a year. Never again will I buy anything Whirlpool or Sears. Customer service is awful. Now 2 of the knobs on the stove I bought at the same time will not turn. No quality built into these products!!

My parents purchased a KitchenAid refrigerator model number KRFF507ESS01 six months ago. In that time the ice maker has never worked correctly and it has been broken twice, causing them to throw all their food away. The first repair took 10 days. They are now waiting on the second repair and it has been 8 days and they cannot get anyone out here for another 9 days. They purchased a top of the line stove, microwave, and mixer at the same time. They spent a lot of money and the customer service is terrible. They have had to buy coolers and countless bags of ice to keep food in the house. I asked the customer service rep what they needed to do to have a new unit sent out. I was told, Nothing, your parents signed the extended warranty which states repair, it doesnt say replacement. Im sorry, but where on that warranty did it say that you were selling them a piece of crap? Very disappointed.

I have been purchasing KitchenAid thinking about high reputation of the company. I bought all my KitchenAid appliances (refrigerator, gas range, microwave, dishwasher) at PC Richards 15 months ago. We are the family of two adults, so you can imagine that we use this dishwasher twice a week at the most. However, after 15 months of such rare uses the dishwasher failed. I rinse off the dishes every time before running the cycle but for the past couple of weeks all the dishes are not clean at all after even running two cycles. I tried to resolve the issue by calling PC Richards but all they told me that the service technician will cost me $125 to evaluate the problem. Apparently I am stuck with the product failed to operate after a bit over a year. I am extremely upset that the company doesnt stand behind the product they produce and will never buy KitchenAid products again.

Six years ago, I purchased a 27 Double KitchenAid oven model KEBS277SSSOOO for my kitchen remodel. Shortly afterwards, the control panel failed. I had it replaced under an extended warranty program. Recently, I attempted to use the self clean function. Following the prompts, the door locked. When I pushed the start button, there was a bright flash from the control panel. It fried. I have contacted an appliance repair company that services KitchenAid to replace the control panel. I will be charged for the service call, plus the approximate $400 for a new control panel. I would not recommend KitchenAid double electric ovens to anyone.

We installed our KitchenAid Refrigerator model #KFXS25RYBLO in February 2015. Within 6 months the ice maker stopped making ice. The repairman told us it needed to be replaced and that he has had to replace EVERY KitchenAid ice maker from that model. Next 1 year later the hose froze up and had to be replaced. The repairman explained that it was a new and improved hose that once again KitchenAid replaced. Then 1 year later the bottom freezer froze up. Once again another repair. Then today March 2018 the ice machine is AGAIN not making ice and after troubleshooting the repairman now says we need a new ice maker. This is the WORST refrigerator that we have had in our 41 year marriage!

We recently bought a kitchen full of appliances and have already had the double wall ovens replaced (after less than a year) and the ice maker in the refrigerator has NEVER worked properly. Kitchen Aid is a pro at disassociating themselves with resolving the problem. I have now had service on my refrigerator 4 times, replaced the ice maker only to have it still dispensing crushed ice I have neither selected or wanted. This time, they kept me on the phone for over an hour (really) as they passed me from person to person only to schedule service but not tell me that they did. Each time they come out, it will generate yet another visit if they need to order a part. AT WHAT POINT WILL YOU TAKE THIS APPLIANCE OUT OF MY HOUSE! I foolishly purchased the extended warranty for all my appliances - well this only lets the manufacturer off the hook because they push everything off to the extended plan that I paid for even if the problem occurred under the original warranty! What a hoax. LEARN FROM ME AND DO NOT PURCHASE THESE APPLIANCES.

We purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher Model KUDS30CX. The first one didnt work right and we were within 30 days so we exchanged for the same thing, thinking it was just a fluke - worst mistake ever! The second one was repaired over 8-10 times. Finally, KitchenAid replaced it with the same thing. Now Ive had this one for 2 months or so and after my last cycle, the dishwasher wont stop running. It showed clean and was done but kept making noise. It would stop then start, stop then start. I tried to cancel the cycle. Then without any lights on or anything, it kept starting and stopping. The only way to completely get it to stop was to unplug. So once again I have no dishwasher. I will have to take time off work for the serviceman. Kitchen Aid does not support its own product but relies on unreliable subcontractors. After already waiting for repairs for two weeks, now we are told the parts are not available. Model KUDS301XBL - This dishwasher was purchased in May 2011 at a total cost of almost $1,000. Since having it installed, it has required service and the motor has been replaced twice - in 2012 and again in 2013. The wheels and rollers have repeatedly broken off. Now, after less than four years, it has failed again and the motor will need to be replaced for the third time. Each time services required, it is a minimum of one week - and typically 2 to 3 weeks - that our family of six is without the use of a dishwasher. In addition to its lack of reliability, this high-end dishwasher has never adequately done a good job of washing dishes. Even the service technician has said, I dont care what the salesperson told you, if you want your dishes to be clean, you will have to pre-wash them. Perhaps we just got a lemon, but the manufacturer has done nothing to correct our situation.

I purchased a microwave oven, model KBMS1454SBL-1. About a year and a half into the product, the dashboard lights went out and stopped working. I went to the KitchenAid website and filled out their contact form in which they referenced I visit their service page. I filled everything out in on the service page. On that page it indicates the following: If your appliance is not under warranty or covered by a service contract, then the charge for the technician to come to your home will cover diagnosing the problem with the appliance, and a written estimate for the repair. To me that is vague. Does that mean that once the technician will do the repair, then I will be charged? Oh and also how much will I be charged? Well here is what happened. On March 23rd, 2013 I waited all day at home (wasting my time) waiting for this technician to come out. A representative from a company called A&E Factory Service came, looked at my unit and said, Oh, the dashboard doesnt work. It will cost $250 to replace it. I said, That is too much. Dont worry about it. I can order the part myself and do it myself as well. But it does not end here. He explained that now I have to pay him $129 for his service. I exclaimed why. He said, Well, that is what it costs! I was shocked. At no point did KitchenAid or A&E inform me of the cost for this service.April 26th I finally have time to call A&E and tell them I want a refund because no one at any point asked me if I wanted a service for $129. They explained that they would not give me a refund. I spent about 40 minutes on the phone with them and another 40 with KitchenAid, each blaming each other or saying that I should have assumed that it would not be free. But if KitchenAid does not state the cost and the contractor A&E doesnt explain how much prior to, how is that a fair practice? My service order number with A&E is **.I will never buy a KitchenAid product again. A&E explained that it does happen sometimes and that I should ask the KitchenAid management to do a conference call with A&E to get a refund. I called Kitchen Aid and they dont even consider the idea. They just say, Its not our problem. Your product is out of warranty so its not our problem. What a joke. A company that truly can give a rats ** about its products or customers! If I had wanted someone local to fix my problem like A&E and called them myself instead of doing the service through KitchenAid, A&E explained that they would have informed me prior to coming out. But because I did it through KitchenAid, then its not their problem. They are only supposed to show up, diagnose, collect money and then leave. Nice little partnership they got going! Screw the little guy, then waste his time and then try to overcharge for a part. Unbelievable! Never again! I will stick to brands that actually go out of their way and help their customers, whether a product is in warranty or not! Never again!

Long story short, glass bits ended up in the motor costing me nearly 400 dollars to replace. Bought all new matching stainless steel KitchenAid appliances (dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, microwave/convection oven) about one year ago and have been very disappointed with the lack of quality and performance in the stove and refrigerator from the start. Thought KitchenAid was a top brand but obviously not any longer. The pieces look sharp in the showroom but buyer beware! The stove - glass top scratches easily, requires extensive cleaning/buffing after every use, the self cleaning oven feature really does not work at all, takes forever to preheat the oven. The refrigerator - cheaply made vegetable bins that fall apart (front panel comes off), water filter needs to be replaced almost monthly. The dishwasher is the only appliance I have no major complaints for. Very quiet and does a good job on plates, glasses, and silverware (wash pots by hand). We purchased a new refrigerator 2 weeks ago. The first one that was delivered was defective and after sending out a repair crew that could not fix it, it was replaced with a second defective refrigerator. We called one serviceman who couldnt detect the issue. Never again will I purchase a unit with an ice maker in unit vs. freezer. Just after a year and parts warranty expiration - it began leaking again and thankfully I was home to avoid a real disaster and could turn off water. Yet another serviceman was out 2 days again who left stating he couldnt find anything wrong with ice maker. As of today water is not running into ice maker although we do have water in the dispenser on outside door of unit. Has anyone else had this model who has experienced the same issue? My built-in side-by-side stopped cooling almost a MONTH ago. I did call a highly rated Yelp repair company but they were honest and said that since it was still under limited warranty I should work directly with KitchenAid. Let me keep it short... Its ugly. KitchenAid is deliberately slowing down service and forcing me to work with someone who has terrible Yelp ratings. In fact I have spent $1,000 with this company and even though he claims to be able to diagnose the issues - KitchenAid tech backs him up - as of today my unit is having the same exact issue. We have replaced a heating coil that required 6 hours of labor (KitchenAid confirmed) and a compressor.I called another service company who indicated it is a simple problem that can be fixed easily. When I called KitchenAid and explained this, the customer service guy actually fought with me...refused to speak to me any further unless I gave him the phone number and name of the other company. They were so concerned that one of their authorized repair companies was questioned that they tried to intimidate me into thinking I was going to lose support. Bottom line - I asked for a supervisor and she was understanding. I begged her to send different service company but she refused. As I write this, my $12,000 refrigerator/freezer is not working, despite KitchenAid forcing me to spend $1,000 with their service person. It also still sounds like the engine from a small commercial plane, even though prior to that it was so silent. And no refrigeration still. And guess what? My service repair person will not call me back. KitchenAid is clearly trying to stall until warranty runs out. I will never buy another one of their products. I paid for high-end KitchenAid appliances because of the reputation of quality and service, and Ive experienced nothing but the opposite; in 2 years, my refrigerator needed a cooling element replaced, my oven glass exploded across my kitchen (thank goodness my children were not standing there!), a heating element in my convection microwave needed to be replaced, and most recently a door switch in the microwave needed replacing because it was causing it to not operate. This last repair, I was out of the 2-year warranty by one month, and they are refusing to cover the $142 cost of the repair. They dont stand by their products. In 2 years, for the thousands of dollars we paid, nothing should go wrong with any appliances, let alone these many occurrences. And to not cover a repair being 1 month past warranty, especially with all of the other problems Ive had, even just to save face, is ridiculous for such a large company.

One of those ranges had a faulty fan which did damage to another part due to overheating during the cleaning process, which resulted in damage to other parts! Most recently, the electronic range control on my Architect II went on my three-year-old gas range. So back to the repair techs. I will never purchase another KitchenAid stove. Based upon my experience and that of others, they are simply poorly manufactured and not reputable. Repair costs are ridiculous and I am thinking of replacing mine due to the high repair costs and lack of faith in this happening once again, at a time when I really need to use the stove!

We bought a KA fridge KSF26C7XYY04 with an extended warranty service plan. Thank goodness! We have had 3 service calls in a 6 month period. The fridge is only 2 years old. The evaporator and ice dispenser motor had to be replaced. I just called again because once again the freezer is not working. I have thrown out food 3 times now. I have a 5-hour service repair window every time the company that services the warranty comes out. Last time the part took so long to come in that I waited for almost 4 weeks to get my fridge fixed. This purchase has been a total nightmare! If we did not have the warranty, KA would not even talk to me. There is zero customer service. I was actually told today that with the internet I should have done my homework by their own customer service! That says it all. Sad state of affairs. I will never buy a KA appliance ever again. Once the warranty runs out and I cant get them to continue to fix this fridge, I will take the loss and buy a new non-KA fridge. This company completely sucks. All 3 drawers on the fridge side are broken. Same issue where the face of the drawer has come off. I had one drawer replaced which broke again. KA wont stand behind their poorly made product. They want me to buy them for $125/drawer. I refuse to spend any more money on this piece of poorly made appliance. I duct tape them! SO sad.

I wish we had known about this website before we purchased all KitchenAid appliances for our new lake home. We purchased the higher end built-in refrigerator (over $5,000), double oven, microwave, dishwasher, and portable counter top oven. The refrigerators ice maker, ice container broke before 6 months, which was hard to remove from day one. My old refrigerator held more than this one. It isnt even big enough to hold 12 pack of cokes; its too short. The door shelves arent really adjustable. You can remove one but you cant change them. The front water dispenser isnt big enough to hold most glasses. The microwave has to be serviced to change a light bulb! The counter top oven doesnt tell you when its reached the desired temperature and takes forever to heat. The dishwasher doesnt let you know what stage its in and you have to wash everything before you put it in though it is quiet. The only appliance I was happy with was the double oven. I also love my stand mixer which Ive had for years. Sad, I wont buy another KitchenAid appliance.

I purchased my $650.00 dishwasher on 08/06/11. I just finished making an appointment for service for the fifth time. Each service is for the same blown internal fuse. If the fuse keeps blowing, there must be a reason; although the service tech assured me that the unit is in perfect working order. I guess that the fuse blows for no reason, but there must be a reason! Im sending a copy of this to my insurance company in case your dishwasher sets my house on fire.

I purchased a suite of Kitchen Aid products in July 2011 from Art Handlers Appliance Center. Refrigerator, dishwasher, gas convection oven and range and microwave. They were installed in my new home. To date, the handle on my microwave didnt just come off, the plastic broke. It just doesnt heat food quickly and is the noisiest microwave ever. The range has knobs on the front and the writing on all the knobs came off within one month. Im currently on my third set of knobs and they now have no writing on them at all. Therefore if anyone else uses the range they have no idea what they are doing. Also, unless you lock the unit, if you lean over it to get something out of a cabinet, you can easily turn it on with your body without knowing it. Overall, this is a dangerous unit to own.

Kitchen Aid Refrigerator KBFS22EWWH5. This is the second time our frig has frozen up. The first time the inside water stopped working then it worked again but the ice maker stopped working. $125 to have the ice removed. This time water leaked to the bottom of the freezer and onto the floor. Repairman is here now and has just taken the freezer apart to break up the ice AGAIN.

Our stove caught fire and nearly burned our house down! The range was a $1500 unit just over 2 years old. A wire to the oven element failed catching the wire insulation on fire and started to navigate to the wall of the house. There was nothing in the oven at the time and it was being preheated for potato cakes. Pictures are available and will be used for an Attorney in order to regain damages.

We bought last July KitchenAid refrigerator. Seven months later we could see some issue with discoloration of the bottom door. I contacted KitchenAid service, they explained, the cosmetic of the surface is not under the warranty. I have extended 5-years warranty, but it is not cover cosmetic issue. We bought this refrigerator in Best Buy, but nobody explained about this type of issue. KitchenAid service can change this door if I will pay $500. I believe I paid a lot for this refrigerator and I am not going to pay $500 for factory non quality product.
