American made dishwashers
What is a good brand of American made dishwasher that won't constantly breakdown like ge's crappy equipment. Four separate times in the past year and a half I've had someone come out and have to fix the same part and their techs are too stupid to reinstall the machine and hook it back to the counter. The first guy left it sitting in the middle of the kitchen with a huge puddle of water under it. The second third and fourth guy said that they'll hook it back to the countertop but all they did was shove it back in the hole and not screw it back to the counter. The fourth one said he would get the brackets but never did and then said he never said that when I asked him when he came back.
Question from user Ih8ThisNameGame at Appliances at reddit.com.
Answer:
I think Bosch and KitchenAid dishwashers sold in the USA are made in the USA. https: - - madeinfind.com - dishwashers-made-in-usa - .
I have a 30 to 25 year old KitchenAid dishwasher that looks like it was made before the turn of the century and has outlived everything in my kitchen except the studs. Im not saying new KitchenAid dishwashers today are necessarily better because nearly all appliances made 30 years ago are better than the stuff sold today.
Personally, when my dishwasher dies, or if it dies, Ill probably get a Bosch.
