Dishwasher Repair

For the home, kitchen and beyond, Beko manufactures appliances that homeowners have come to trust. Even a trustworthy appliance requires occasional maintenance or repair, however. If you’re in need of Beko appliance repair from experienced professionals, your local Appliance Helper can help.

Machine does not start.
• Power cable is unplugged. >>> Check if the power cable is plugged in.
• Circuit Breaker is blown. >>> Check the Circuit Breaker in your house.
• Water is cut. >>> Make sure that the water inlet tap is open.
• Door of the machine is open. >>> Make sure that you have closed the door of the machine.
• On / Off button is not pressed. >>> Make sure that you have turned on the machine by pressing the On / Off button.

Dishes are not washed clean
• Dishes are not placed orderly in the machine. >>> Load the dishes as described in the user manual.
• Selected program is unsuitable. >>> Select a program with a higher temperature and cycle time.
• Wash arms are stuck. >>> Prior to starting the program, turn the lower and upper. Wash arms by hand to make sure that they rotate freely.
• Wash arms holes are clogged. >>> Lower and upper Wash arms holes might be clogged with small food particles and debris. Clean the Wash arms regularly.
• Filters are clogged. >>> Check if the filter system is clean. Clean the filter system regularly.

Dishes are not dry at the end of cycle
• Dishes are not placed orderly in the machine. >>> Place your dishes in a way that no water will accumulate in them.
• Rinse aid is not sufficient. >>> Check the rinse aid indicator and add rinse aid if necessary. Increase the rinse aid setting if there is enough amount of rinse aid in the machine.
• Machine is unloaded right after the program is over. >>> Do not unload your machine right after washing process is completed. Slightly open the door and wait for evacuation of the steam inside for a while. Unload the dishes after the pieces cool down to a touchable level. Start unloading process from the lower basket. Thus, dropping of water remained on a piece at upper basket onto the pieces at lower basket is prevented.

• Selected program is unsuitable. >>> Select a program with a higher temperature and cycle time.
• Surface quality of the kitchen utensils is deteriorated. >>> Tea and coffee stains or other dye spots may not be cleaned in dishwasher when they have penetrated in deteriorated surfaces. Desired washing performance can not be obtained at kitchen utensils with deteriorated surfaces and it is not suitable to use such utensils in terms of hygiene as well. It is not recommended to wash such kitchen utensils in dishwasher.
• Detergent is stored under unsuitable conditions. >>> If you are using powder detergent, do not store the detergent package in humid places. Keep it in a closed container if possible. For ease-of-storing, we recommend you to use tablet detergents.

Dryer Repair

For the home, kitchen and beyond, Beko manufactures appliances that homeowners have come to trust. Even a trustworthy appliance requires occasional maintenance or repair, however. If you’re in need of Beko appliance repair from experienced professionals, your local Appliance Helper can help.

Beko condenser dryer not working
This could be due to a door switch issue. Some Beko models are fitted with red locking clips. The door microswitch or the catch on the door that operates the switch may break or fail to activate. Plastic pegs can easily bend – if these items are defective the tumble dryer won’t start. Other Beko condenser dryer problems related to this problem could be electrical. If power sockets fuses, and the circuit breaker have all been checked, this could be a capacitor or motor problem. A humming noise indicates that the drum could be jammed. All of these snags can be quickly repaired by a qualified engineer.

Beko tumble dryer keeps stopping
This is most likely caused by the thermal overload switch cutting out because the temperature is too hot. Or the motor is overworking. This could be due to an obstruction in the vent. Other issues could be related to the overload switch itself not operating properly. Beko condenser dryer problems that cause the programme to stop mid-cycle points to the motor plate that holds the motor in place being stopped by the circuit breaker tripping. Any issues with blocked vents and thermal fuses should be inspected by an expert.

Beko tumble dryer not heating
A Beko tumble dryer not heating up means that the heater fuse has tripped or the thermal overload has cut out. These mechanisms are a safety feature that prevents the appliance from overheating and catching fire. Other causes of tumble dryer heating problems can be a malfunctioning heating element, a faulty thermostat, or an exhaust vent full of lint and other debris.

Range Repair

For the home, kitchen and beyond, Beko manufactures appliances that homeowners have come to trust. Even a trustworthy appliance requires occasional maintenance or repair, however. If you’re in need of Beko appliance repair from experienced professionals, your local Appliance Helper can help.

What do I do if my Beko electric oven has stopped working?
Ensure that the appliance has not been switched off at the mains power switch. Check to see if the fuse has been tripped or blown. If the clock on your oven is flashing, it must be reset before the oven can be used again. Please refer to the instruction manual for specific advice on how to do this.

How do I replace the light in my Beko oven?
Make sure the product is disconnected from the mains and has cooled down beforehand. Turn the glass cover counter-clockwise to remove it, wearing a rubber glove gives a better grip. Then unscrew the bulb and replace it. Reattach the glass cover. If in doubt, consult your product manual which will have instructions under: 'Replacing the Oven Lamp'.

My oven timer shows "AUTO" or "A" in the display.
This indicates that the oven has been set to automatically turn on and off at a specified time. You will need to reset it if you want to use the oven in manual mode. Take a look at the specific instructions in the user manual for your oven to find out how to do this.

What is a fan oven?
A fan assisted oven has a fan designed to circulate air around the oven. The fan distributes heat evenly around the oven to cook food more evenly, often in less time and at a lower temperature, giving you better results and the opportunity to batch cook.

Why does the manual state to heat the appliance for 30 minutes before initial use?
The purpose of heating the appliance 30 minutes before initial use, is to ensure that any production residues or layers will be burnt off and removed.

How do I clean the inside of my Beko oven?
If the inside of your oven has an enamelled interior, the most effective cleaning method is a damp cloth while the oven is still warm. Also, oven cleaning agents suitable for enamel can also be used if required. If your oven has catalytic liners, they should not be cleaned. To remove any built-up deposits simply remove all oven trays and set the temperature to 240°C for one hour. If you aren't sure what type of interior your oven has, please refer to your instruction manual.

How does a self-cleaning oven work?
A self-cleaning oven deep cleans itself at the touch of a button. Beko’s self-cleaning ovens are equipped with a pioneering in-built Pyrolytic self-cleaning feature which amplifies its internal temperature to 480°C! The oven is self-locking throughout the process and once it reaches maximum temperature, all grease, stains, marks, and burns are turned to dust – just wipe them away with a damp cloth. This Beko oven gives you the option of two self-cleaning programmes; one for heavily soiled interiors (runs for 120 minutes), and an Eco cycle (runs for 90 minutes) – which can save up to 25% in energy as well as effort. Our ovens also come with official recommendation from the Energy Saving Trust so not only will you be saving time and energy, you will be saving money as well.

Overheating Issues
If your Beko oven is always overheating, we can help! There could be a number of parts that could be causing this issue, but don't worry as we offer a range of replacements.
A faulty Thermostat
Your thermostat is responsible for regulating the heat inside your oven; but obviously, if this part is not functioning properly, then the heat inside your oven will not be regulated properly, causing it to over or under cook your meals. This can be a major issue, as you'll have to constantly check your meals whilst it's cooking to see when it is accurately cooked. Thankfully, we sell a selection of affordable oven thermostats that will rectify this issue, and will ensure your appliance is cooking your meals accurately once again.
A faulty cooling fan
Another part that could be related to your overheating issue, is your cooling fan. The role of this part is pretty self explanatory - it cools your oven cavity to prevent it from over heating. If this part stops working, then trying to keep your oven cavity cool will be a major issue! If your cooling fan has become faulty, you can purchase a replacement

Prolonged Cooking Times
Everyone wants their meals cooked instantly, so when your cooker is taking longer than usual to cook your meals, it can become really frustrating. Again, there could are a few parts related to this issue, but thankfully we have the replacements to resolve this issue.
Underperforming oven element
Your oven element is the cooker part that heats up and distributes the heat that allows you to cook your meals. And therefore, if it begins to start to become faulty and work insufficiently, you will notice that your cooker performance will diminish, and that cooking times would have increased. If your oven element is no longer performing as good as it used to, purchase a replacement today!
Oven seal detaching
Your oven seal is a strip of rubber that is attached to the trim of your oven door which protects the edge of your oven door as well helping your oven to retain the heat inside the cavity. If the seal begins to come away from your oven door, heat will be allowed to escape, resulting in your oven taking longer to heat up and cook your meals. To ensure your oven is retaining heat again, purchase a replacement from our range of oven door seals.

Oven no longer igniting
If your oven burner is having trouble igniting or the electrode is no longer sparking, your oven won't produce any heat which will result in your oven being unable to cook your meals. However, this problem can easily be resolved by purchasing one of our replacements.
To view our entire range of Beko oven parts, please click here. If you are having any further problems with your Beko oven please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team - they' be more than happy to assist you to ensure your oven is fully functioning again.

• In case of sudden power failure or pulling the power plug off and putting back on, the gas pressure in the product’s cooling system is not balanced, which triggers the compressor thermic safeguard. The product will restart after approximately 6 minutes. If the product does not restart after this period, contact the service.
• Defrosting is active. >>> This is normal for a fully automatic defrosting product. The defrosting is carried out periodically.
• The product is not plugged in. >>> Make sure the power cord is plugged in.

Washer Repair

For the home, kitchen and beyond, Beko manufactures appliances that homeowners have come to trust. Even a trustworthy appliance requires occasional maintenance or repair, however. If you’re in need of Beko appliance repair from experienced professionals, your local Appliance Helper can help.

Your Beko washing machine does not start
If your washing machine doesn’t start, hold the start, pause and cancel buttons down for about three to four seconds. This should reset the machine and allow you to continue. If it does not work you may have to call out an engineer.

The machine is not spinning
If the load in your machine is not distributed properly it can affect the spinning function. This occurs if you have a mix of items in the drum including heavy towels and woollen jumpers as well as lighter items like underwear. This imbalance stops the spin cycle from getting to full speed. The machine will normally attempt to redistribute the load which can take a bit of time.
Another problem with full spin comes when there are only a few items in the machine and this can be solved by adding more to the wash.
Finally, spinning can be impacted if the filter is blocked and you can take this out and give it a rinse to clear any debris.

The water is not emptying out of my Beko washing machine
A problem could be the drain hose – make sure it is extended while not exceeding the max length (check in the manual for this). If this isn’t the problem, it is probably an issue with the filter pump which could be blocked.
Find the filter which should be on the right-hand side at the bottom.
Open this and take out the filter.
Clean it by rinsing under the tap.
Warning: Opening the filter housing can release water. You can use a drain tube to lower the level of water in the drum. You should put a container under the filter to collect any residual water. Opening the filter carefully will ensure that the water doesn’t suddenly come flooding out.
Once you’ve cleaned the filter, ensure that it is replaced properly. In most circumstances, this should solve the issue. If not, you might need to call out an engineer.

There’s a lot of noise or vibration during the spin cycle
This could be an issue with the machine not being level. You can adjust the feet to rectify this – check with your instruction manual to see how you do this.

The machine is not filling with water
The main reason this occurs is if the hose is twisted or blocked in some way. Pull the machine out and make sure there is no problem with the hose. If this doesn’t fix the issue, you will need to call out an engineer.

The machine isn’t rinsing properly
This is normally because the drain pump filter is blocked. Open the cover of the filter on the bottom right side of the machine, careful to collect the water. Open the filter housing carefully to stop water from flooding out and then clean it under the tap. Again, ensure you put the filter back properly before restarting the machine.

Where is the serial number and model number of washing machine?
This should be on silver rating plate which is on the internal rim of the door.

When should I clean the filter on my Beko washing machine?
Ideally, you should give the filter a check every three or four months. It’s there to protect the drain pump and foreign objects could eventually clog up the system.

I purchased this unit 4 months ago to replace my blue star range. Very happy we went with Beko. Nice features such as LED control knobs which makes it easy to know when the cooktop is on. Oven heats up quickly and has constant temperature front to back. My only change would be a smooth griddle a accessory for the center burner.

I bought this machine almost a year ago to replace a Samsung front loader which I'd used for over 5 years with no problems. I got an excellent deal from Appliances on Line $538 and free delivery. I like the extra fast spin speed 1400rpm and other features that weren't available on the Samsung, it is also much quieter than previous machines. If I could find a fault I would like a warning beep when it finishes washing and also when it starts, otherwise I can recommend it.

I wash everything in this washing machine from bedding, towels, dedicates, cottons and synthetics. It gets used nearly every day and time and time again I have been happy with the way the clothes have been washed. I also love the timer and use that when I go out for a few hours and by the time I get home the washing has finished, ready for me to hang it one the line. I highly recommend this washing machine.

Had this delivered about 1 month ago. The burners all worked well. Lot's of BTU's which is important for me. However the oven door would not close properly. After a couple weeks of frustration, a BEKO certified tech came out and showed us that you just turn the oven to 'self clean' and the latch will move so that the oven door will close properly. Simple - but why not have that stated in the manual? Other than that the oven works very well. Temp seems accurate. Powerful too. It looks great and am happy with the purchase. Would recommend.

Love this washing machine! Have only one small complaint when you have to push the START/PAUSE button, I have to push really hard to get machine to kick into gear and start. I have to use my thumb and really press hard for it to make sure that it starts. That is my only complaint. The machine has a lot of options for washing cycles which are great. I wash a range of clothing from sheets and other bedding to woolen winter long sleeve tee's and never have a problem as there are good settings to choose if you want a long or a short cycle. Delicate clothes are just fine in this washing machine. Only use half the amount of washing powder you normally use as this machine washes well.
