I bought all fridge built in with no water line connection, we notice our side cabinet and under fridge has big water damage after checking, we notice the water is from fridge, we call them. They told me to call their service company. Cost us $100. They wrote report to them and told them it is problem with fridge and the leak was from months before that why the rusting started. Unfortunately they say my fridge is one month past the warranty even their service company wrote letter and told them this problem start from months before almost from start. They are not answering my phone call. Im keep leaving massage but they not calling me back and angry and disappointed.

Tech advised over one thousand dollars in repairs and option to purchase a warranty for over $400. What?! Um, no! Bye Electrolux, wont be seeing my money in your pockets anytime soon. A 3 year old $3200.00 range that doesn’t get much use, again if I can help you save thousands by my review, throwing that POS in the trash is worth every penny.

Contacted Electrolux over a week ago when my ice maker on the fridge quit working. They called me back in 3 days and stated I would be getting a call from a service tech within the next couple of days to schedule an appt. Never received a call. I called Electrolux to advise and they stated they again would contact the service tech. I received a call from the service tech stating they do not service Electrolux contracts, and they have no idea why Electrolux would contact them as they only service Frigidaire contracts. I called Electrolux and advised of my conversation with the service tech. An Electrolux mgr. stated he would elevate my service request and I should hear from someone in 2-3 days. I asked, then how many days before I would be able to get service. He basically gave me the impression I should be glad that he elevated my request. I gave it some thought, looked in my yellow pages and noted tons of refrigerator repairmen. Called Electrolux back and asked if I should find someone to service my refrigerator would they reimburse? They said I would need to pay the service tech, submit the bill to Electrolux and they would determine if they would reimburse, because the repairmen in the area were not designated Frigidaire repairmen. So, here I sit, just thinking what an absolute nightmare and waste of time and money dealing with what appears to be a worthless Electrolux warranty.

I purchased a high end set of kitchen appliances (through Sears Canada) in 2009 - an Electrolux fridge and a top of the line electric range/oven. After 5 years, the fridge literally started to fall apart. The faux aluminum strips on the exterior of the fridge starting falling off and the ice making unit ceased working completely and the inside seal on the door was failing. Sears was very helpful but Electrolux was a complete and utter disaster to deal with. After investing a tremendous amount of time and energy in getting them to step up and deal with their inferior product issues, we were given a nominal credit towards buying another Electrolux fridge. Guess what? Within 9 months, we experienced similar product quality issues and made the decision to get rid of it and replace it with KitchenAid fridge which has been performing flawlessly since day one.Next, the oven stopped working. The burners were not functioning at all. Electrolux herded us over to a local service provider who indicated that this kind of problem was a common theme across the Electrolux high end oven product line. The service technician indicated that he would be unable to isolate the specific problem (we kept getting the e15 code of death). He recommended replacing a component for over $500 but warned us that there was a possibility that this would not necessarily rectify the problem - and if it didnt, we would need to spend a further $1100 to replace a circuit board of some sort. Guess what? The fix didnt work. We contacted Electrolux customer service and after numerous discussions they relented and offered us 20% off, as a sign of good faith, a new one. Really??? Do you actually think that I would buy another one of their products after 3 of them failed inside of 6 years? This is the worst, and I mean worst, product quality issue that I could ever imagine encountering. Never, ever, ever again.

I wish I would have found this website before purchasing the refrigerator 4 years ago. I will never buy another Electrolux product again. The ice maker has never fully worked since we got the refrigerator. Contacted Electrolux when it was still under warranty. The service company came out. Said it was the control board and that they would replace it. Never heard from them again and got busy. Finally the ice maker stopped working altogether about a year ago. I think the biggest problem with these appliances is that they are not made in the USA. This refrigerator was made in Mexico -- you get what you pay for -- low wages, low quality. When are we going to learn? Cheap labor is never better. As with Electrolux they have lost and will lose a lot of business due to these problems. Did they really save a lot of money seeking out a lower labor cost country? I will make sure my next appliance is made in the USA.

We purchased an Electrolux washer and dryer in April of 2019 because our plumber installed the washer connection on the right side of our laundry room. Electrolux was the only system that offered a reversible door on the washer. We have owned an LG washer and dryer since 2005 and like that brand, but were stuck with the situation. The dryer is a stunning example of lousy engineering and lousy quality control. The door ledge is deep, so the spinning motion of the dryer dumps lighter-weight clothes like socks and T-shirts onto the ledge, which covers the lint filter opening which causes poor air circulation. To fix that, the company installed a larger vane that apparently tries to fix the problem by scooping the clothes off the filter. It works with larger items, not with smaller. The second failure is the moisture sensor, which sits near the lint filter, facing up. It is fairly large. Since the clothes do not properly circulate in the dryer and end up on top of the lint filter, they end up on top of the moisture sensor. The wet clothes stay in circulation because they are heavier. The lighter clothes that dry faster end up falling on the lint filter and sensor, so the dryer thinks the load is dry and signals the end of cycle. We often have to run three or more cycles to dry the clothes. The electronic control board failed within a few months of the dryer being installed. The touch sensors would not work. When the service tech came out to replace it, he said that it was a common problem with the machines, and demonstrated sliding a finger across the button we wanted to active when the panel stopped responding. He also suggested using the timed drying feature rather than the sensor options because of the poor design of the sensor. He replace the panel, which then failed again about 6 months later. This time, the timed option stopped working; its stuck on 30 minutes. A few weeks ago, the washer decided to join in the fray. It will not dispense fabric softener. Apparently the control that turns on the water spray over the dispenser is not working, so we have a cup full of softener sitting there. In 15 years of owning LG appliances (the first set from 2005 to 2016, the second set from 2106 to now - both are in our primary home) we have had more service calls on the Electrolux garbage in 18 months of service than 15 years for LG. We begged Electrolux to take the appliances back, but they refused. It appears that their primary profit comes from selling extended warranty service, which costs a significant percentage of the original purchase price. Bottom line: Electrolux products should stay in the showroom, not in your laundry room.

I purchased an expensive slide in gas range. The self cleaning oven would not work after a few times because it insisted that I remove the racks. The racks and side pieces were removed! I cannot remove something that is not there. Therefore, I had to clean the oven myself. Keep in mind that I cannot use any type of cleaners since this is supposed to have a self cleaning oven. Not an easy task! Also, when I was able to clean it leaked down the door and the door looked dirty.

I purchased 6 Electrolux appliances for my kitchen in 2009 (refrigerator, dual fuel oven, hood, microwave, dishwasher, mini-frig). Since that time they have ALL required repair. The refrigerator and dishwasher re in constant repair. I purchased this top line brand because I didnt want to deal with any problems. I also purchased a warranty on all the appliances because I didnt want to have any problems that would take time from my busy schedule. In the last 2 months I have had the refrigerator stop working (for the 3rd time) and spoil ALL my food. Sears took 4 attempts to fix the problem over the course of 3 week. The following day the dishwasher broke (for the 3rd time), draining 2 feet of water all over my kitchen. After 5 weeks and 3 service appointments - almost 2 weeks between appointments and 2 no shows my dishwasher remains broken and collecting mold. I will NEVER purchase another Electrolux appliance again. These products are complete junk.

My husband and I are very disappointed with our Electrolux French Door Refrigerator! We purchased one in 2009 and paid $4,300. I thought with that price, it should last at least 10 years. Well, after a year and a half, the ice maker broke. Good thing we purchased the extended service warranty for 5 years. Repair man came and replaced the ice maker. Couple months later, it broke again. Called again. Broke again, and again. So finally in 2012, Electrolux gave us a new refrigerator (same model) for a replacement. It worked until late 2015 when the ice maker started acting up again. Water started leaking behind the ice maker, on the back wall of the fridge. And after a while, the water freezes up. I knew my warranty is over so I thought Id live with it. I always had a towel where it leaks so it wont get all over the fridge. Its terrible and embarrassing. Everyone would ask me why I have a frozen towel in the fridge and I would always reply DO NOT BUY ELECTROLUX. About 2 weeks ago, a piece of hard plastic and styrofoam came out of the ice maker while I was dispensing ice. Like, what the heck is it and where did it come from?? Then last Friday, the fridge totally died! I called every technician in town but unfortunately, nobody couldnt make it until today, Monday (weve had no fridge for 4 days!) Diagnosis: the control board is burnt out and it melted! Cost of repair: $522! This expensive fridge is a piece of junk! I am pissed and Im trying to get Electrolux pay for at least the parts. Lets see what happens next. But I will never buy Electrolux again.

A one star rating is drastically too high for a company which I would consider the epitome of Worst Customer Service ever! When we purchased our new home, our builder offered a suite of Electrolux appliances, which appeared to be a good compliment to our home. Fast forward 30 days into our new home and we are already contacting Electrolux to have our new double oven serviced. 1) Temperature settings are not accurate as things cook at different rates every time we use it (Burns one time and then the next it will take twice as long as prescribed). 2) The fan on the top quiet oven sounds more like a jet engine spooling up for operation. Both issues were addressed with Electrolux. First service call - One repair technician shows up and then proceeds to inform us that it is a two person job, thus the service call has to be rescheduled. Next call, technician diagnoses the issues and orders parts. Parts arrive about a week later...another week goes by when I find out from my wife that they did not set up a follow-on appointment, nor have they called to set one up since the parts have arrived. That was the first time that I learned that Electrolux does not even attempt to go the extra mile for their customers. I called Electrolux and set my follow-on appointment...being spoiled by other companies with exceptional customer service cost me weeks in turn around repair time. Follow-on appointment happens and the parts are replaced and supposedly repaired. Oven still spooled up as if the generators were getting ready to come online and bring the aircraft to life and the temperatures settings were still unreliable. Over the course of my first 10 months, we dealt with this issue multiple times until we hit our breaking point as each time of dealing with the oven repair was mentally and emotionally exhausting with Electrolux. (The process is not smooth...I would say broken, but I dont think it has ever been a well established process.) After the last unsuccessful repair, I contacted Electrolux customer service number to request a replacement oven...the customer service agent pushed back stating that the part would have to be serviced again before replacing. We then had a heart to heart discussion about how we were not going to be inconvenienced for another repair attempt when all of the previous attempts failed. Our request was sent to the Back Office People for review for replacement for which he stated we would receive a determination via email in a few days. Fast forward again a few weeks...I get an email from some random delivery company stating that they were shipping an Electrolux oven to my address. Yes, that is how I found out that Electrolux had decided to replace my oven...in case you are not aware by now, never expect Electrolux North America to ever go the extra mile - aka email you to let you know they are replacing your busted oven. In November 2017, a delivery driver just appeared at our house without a pre-notification and proceeded to deliver our replacement oven. He then proceeded to let our new oven come crashing down on our driveway in front of my wife, who was luckily outside watering our grass at the time. My wife was astonished that the delivery driver continued to deliver the oven...and when approached, he stated that had she not been out there, he would have dropped it in the garage and left without ever saying a word. The questionable ethics of the deliver driver spooked my wife into fear that denying the delivery would only mean that shady driver takes oven away only for same company to bring same oven back a few days later. Since November 22nd, 2017 - we have been dealing with Electrolux North America to come to an acceptable solution to have a one for one swap completed. As sadly as it may sound, I have truly learned that Electrolux North America (especially North American Liaison Rita **) could not care less about the customer and their overall experience. All attempts to have the situation addressed with a means that would put their customer at ease...have fallen on deaf ears. Electrolux customer service, as well as Rita **, will only address a rigid black and white approach of how situations are to be addressed according to a policy and will never apply the Reasonable Person Theory, which would require them to listen to their customers and understand their concerns with at least the slightest bit of compassion. Recommendation - Do not buy Electrolux appliances or appliances of any of their sister companies. If you need any repairs, you will surely regret ever making that purchase...that I can guarantee.

We bought one of the top of the line side-by-side drawer on the bottom Electrolux refrigerators in January of this year (2014). By July we had a trim piece hanging below the left door on the side of the ice maker, and we were told by 2 repairmen that the whole door had to be replaced to rectify the problem. I called Electrolux about it and was told that they wouldnt do anything about it because it was cosmetic. I got adamant about their need to do something, and they reluctantly agreed to pay for the door but not the labor to replace the door. Fortunately, the place where I bought it, University Electric, said that theyd pay for the installation costs. After 3 hours on the phone today, I finally have the door ordered from Electrolux and will get reimbursed for the labor. Certainly not the way it should be when you pay close to $3000 for a refrigerator!

After purchasing an $1,100 dryer you would hope to get some longevity out of it. After less than 3 weeks, the dryer belt burned out. 3 months later the same thing happened again. The second time Electrolux sent a service tech who came without parts left and said he would come back again the next morning. Did not show up so we have a dryer in pieces with no word back. The cycle on the washer was no longer than 38 minutes, compared to some might last way longer. The dryer had a lot of issue and needed repaired. This was caused by the assembly line by the manufacturer. The dryer would need to have air dry cycle on cold cycle to air comforters. A price would be too high for the pair. I did a kitchen reno 3 years ago and through lots of contemplation on which manufacturer to purchase our appliance package from, we chose Electrolux. We purchase the wave technology fridge and Induction stove. We could not have purchase any higher end of a product from Sears other than the GE Profile package, but they did not release an induction cooktop at the time. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! The stove has had several service calls as one of the burners has no heating intensity. The service people that have been coming out have no clue what they are doing and cannot fix the stove. They basically say it is normal. Still working on that problem to get it rectified. We also noticed our laminate floor was swelling a few weeks ago and after investigating the possible cause, I pulled out the fridge and sure enough the floor was all damaged and stained with rust. I had Sears service come to investigate and the end result is it cannot be repaired as it has a manufacturing defect. Seems that Electrolux just happened to not design the fridge with any insulation at the back of the fridge. WOW! I purchased the Extended warranty from Sears due to the cost of these High End appliance and the high cost to purchase.Well that fell flat on support. Sears has offered a credit of $1170.00 toward a purchase of a new replacement fridge as my compensation for the NO Lemon policy on the warranty. Not happy with this result, I contacted Electrolux customer service and asked to speak with a Manager. I was bluntly told that there was no further person to talk to and that Electrolux does not care about any issues after the initial year is over and it will be impossible to expect any input or assistance to replace the fridge that was improperly designed and built! Unbelievable... I am now going to be financially burdened with a $3000 plus cost out of pocket!! What a kick in the teeth after thinking if I purchased High End (JOKE) product, it would pay off.It is looking like I will have to replace my fridge and will now have mismatched appliances in my kitchen, especially since it will not be an Electrolux product. That would be a cold day in Hell!!! I cannot believe what Electrolux is pulling off here. I would be willing to start a class action lawsuit if we could group enough people together to fight this company for selling Improperly manufactured product and not owning up to it.

My experience with Electrolux appliances is junk, junk, junk!!! I purchase three brand new appliances and they all had to be serviced right out of the packaging!! The french door bottom freezer refrigerator is junk. The ice maker in the bottom drawer was replaced within a month and a half after purchased. The upper ice maker has been replaced once, serviced two more times since then and now needs to be serviced again!! It goes through some type of defrost mode which causes the cubes to melt in both the upper and lower bins, which then drips out of the dispenser in the door and once again it does not make ice. It frosts up behind the ice bin itself which in turn needs to be serviced again to replace some seal. Fast forward 5 years later, our range works only a few months out of the year, takes weeks to months to repair each time, and was red-tagged by the gas company on one occasion because the design flaw which causes the frequent repairs causes it to become a bomb in the kitchen. It once exploded our oven door clean open when I preheated it. Despite being repaired 3 times for the same issue, (pilot located too close to burner assembly causes burner assembly to blister open. Often just causes the pilot to be blown out instead of light, but sometimes resulting in a huge build up of gas before ignition, i.e.: bomb in the kitchen), Electrolux, through Warrantech, refused to replace our very expensive appliance. They refused to replace it because it could be fixed, ignoring the pattern of the same issue occurring every year, the enormous danger of the design flaw, & the length of time it took to repair. The part was always backordered, one would assume because they were having this issue with many other ranges. The range has now been discontinued. Electrolux also had the gall to tell us if we had bought our extended warranty through them, they would have replaced the oven after the 3rd repair. They suggested that we purchase another extended warranty through them once ours ran out. Well, that warranty ran out in Dec. 2016. In Sept., 2016, the oven had needed the same repair for the 3rd time. That repair lasted until February of 2017. Two months after our warranty ran out, the same issue occurred for the 4th time. My husband and I cannot see spending another $500 for an Electrolux warranty, when the company is clearly not standing behind their product, interested in customer satisfaction or safety. We have ordered 2 replacement parts on our own, & will attempt to fix this issue ourselves whenever it occurs. We own a dangerous, $6,000 and counting, Electrolux lemon of an oven. I implore you not to buy Electrolux appliances, especially the 36 E36GF76JPS2. Are there others of you out there like me? Lets start a class action lawsuit. Im also going to file a report with the Better Business Bureau. This is unacceptable.

We own a high end induction slide-in range that has failed twice, for the same reason, in 6 years. Whenever we have used the self-clean function the oven has remained locked (impossible to open or function). First failure was covered under warranty but the second, for the exact same failure, cost $600 to repair and Electrolux refused to absorb any of the cost. Technician indicated that this is a common failure...probably a design fault. Will never buy another Electrolux product again.

I have been waiting 6 weeks for my washer to get fixed. I can’t seem to get anyone in the warranty customer service department at RC Willey to tell me at what point I will have a working washer. The repair company has been out three times to repair the washer with no success. Prior to this I had the dryer fixed 2 times using the Electrolux first year warranty and one time through the RC Willey Warranty. Each repair takes a minimum of 2 weeks to complete. The washer/dryer set is 2 years old. I have contacted Electrolux and they said I have a parts warranty but will have to pay out of pocket if I don’t use the warranty. What is the point of purchasing a warranty if you never have a working product? I’m trying really hard to understand why it is so hard to complete the repairs on the unit I have. If you sell a warranty you should stand behind it. I will never buy Electrolux again and most certainly will never purchase anything from RC Willey. Extremely disappointed in both companies.

We purchased our Electrolux French door refrigerator (model EW28BS85KS5) 2.5 years ago. Within days of delivery the freezer door would not stay closed, contacted Electrolux and the service company. They recommended twisted the door to get it to close and said it was repaired. Few days later door is back to opening on its own. Another company was sent out who fixed the door. All the plastic around the doors is cracking off now. Electrolux is sorry. Now both ice makers have stopped working. The top ice maker seemed to jam so my husband reached in to clear the ice and received a shock. I called and talked to Jennifer ** the Corporate Supervisor and she advised me only parts are covered. She understands how I feel but I will need to contact 1 of 2 authorized service centers for the repair of the ice makers. Very dissatisfied, Do not buy Electrolux products. My old refrigerator looked new compared to this one and it was 20 years old.

My husband and I purchased our Electrolux fridge last November 2014. We chose it because it has a fairly reasonable price compared to other competitors like Samsung and LG. It was our first time trying out this brand and we were not disappointed. Our fridge is almost 2 years old now and it did not give us any headache. It's very spacious and cools greatly. There were also ice trays included in the fridge so that's a plus. It's also very easy to clean and it has a very sleek design! Would recommend to others for sure!

In late 2008 we purchased an Electrolux refrigerator, glass cooktop, double oven, microwave & dishwasher. We bought all the appliances in late October 2008 but did not receive them until late November. We had been promised them within a week & were concerned we would not get everything in time for Thanksgiving as we were having family stay with us for the holiday. In any case, the refrigerator was delivered & set up while we were still living at our old house. It arrived with a dent in it. A very noticeable dent. We were told it might be several weeks to get the replacement. Everything was top of the line so not in stock in the store. Under the circumstances, we elected to keep it. However, when they installed the water line for the ice maker, they did not remove the plug so the water poured out all over our wood floors until we came to the new house the following day & were met with the mess & flood. Within just a few months, the dishwasher had to be serviced. Again, not a good sign but sometimes things happen. Shortly thereafter, the blue digital display on the double ovens had some lights stop working & the display was messed up. I called, I was told a part would be sent & when we received it, to call back & a repairman would be dispatched. The part did not arrive when expected, another bad thing, I called after a few days, giving ample time & was told the part had not been sent but now would be for sure. About a month later I received a part. I called for service. No one showed up. A couple of weeks later, I called again. I was told AGAIN that the repairman would come. A couple of days later, I received a SECOND part. No repairman. EVER. Anyway, the digital blue displays on the glass stovetop soon followed suit & stopped working as well. Now I have to guess what temperature I am really cooking things at. The only appliance with the Electrolux name on it that has not had an issue so far is the microwave. I hate to even say it, as I probably just jinxed it. The refrigerator is now not working at all. It kept turning off & on, off & on. Then it popped up a CE error on the beautiful blue display that I was once so fond of. We have ordered a part & my husband is saying he will install it himself, again. The top oven of the double oven stopped keeping the correct temperature about a year ago. For example, I can set it for 350 degrees but in actuality, it may not even be 125 degrees. I feel so disgusted that I spent all my retirement money to have the kitchen of my dreams & instead got the kitchen of my nightmares. Compounding my deep disappointment is the fact that I know I can never afford to buy all new appliances again AND that since we bought all of these items at the same time, they will probably all start falling apart at the same time. I bought the hype, I believed I was buying quality & I regret it & will regret it forever. In my blind faith, I bought the kitchen I wanted because I knew I would never ever have such an opportunity again to furnish my kitchen with top of the line state of the art appliances. Refrigerators, microwaves, stovetops, double ovens & dishwashers should all last longer than 5 years. That is just my humble opinion but it is also my humble opinion that I will NEVER purchase another Electrolux anything. I spent a small fortune on Electrolux products to have ALL of them, except the microwave, have issues right off the bat & have a top quality refrigerator fail within 5 years. Kelly Ripa should be ashamed of herself for making money off this terrible product.

We purchased an Electrolux french door fridge this summer. Our apartment was under construction so we were unable to connect it until this month. When we tried it did not work. We called Electrolux who informed us they would send a technician out right away. Because we do not have the receipt. They said they would honor a 9/15/2014 purchase date. The first technician never came so we called Electrolux again. They sent a second technician who also no-showed.When I spoke to the Electrolux representative for the fourth time I asked to speak to a supervisor. I asked the supervisor what my options are because Electrolux only contracts with 4 repair people in the entire New York City area and all 4 had 1-2 stars on all consumer review websites and 2 of them had already no-showed. I was hoping that we could hire a contractor we know is high-quality, can fix the brand, and is available and have that reimbursed, like going out of network for health insurance. The supervisor put me on hold for a long time--the entire call lasted 61 minutes. When she returned she told me they would no longer honor our purchase date and that because the fridge was manufactured in 4/2013 they would consider it purchased in 10/2013 and we were therefore out of warranty and there was nothing she could do to help us.We have been unable to locate the itemized receipt. Electrolux has offered to sell us a $600 3-year warranty. However, upon reading reviews of our purchase, everyone who has had this issue says it is chronic and never resolved. Dont make this mistake. The EI288S65KS6 does not work and Electrolux is a company that will not work with you.

We purchased numerous fridges of this type from Electrolux back in 2014. We are a builder, so we kept all the fridges completely sealed and in secured storage. We have had issues with every single fridge from Electrolux so far to date. The most recent was the brand new fridge we moved into a brand new home. We plugged the fridge in, and immediately there was an obvious smell of smoke. Concerned, we unplugged the fridge. Our electrician had a look at the plug and it was working fine. We called Electrolux, and they told us the issue is probably the plug. We would need to get a report from a certified electrician to prove that there are no issues with any of the plugs or circuits in the home.We had a third party certified electrician come out, take a look and provide a report. We called Electrolux back, and they said an electrician report wouldnt count. They also somehow did not have the last call on file. They said we would instead need to get a certified Frigidaire technician to come out and look at the fridge. They gave us two possible companies in our area we could use.We hired one of the two provided companies to come and take a look at the fridge. They did, and said that it was clear the main computer blew up as soon as the fridge was plugged in. It also appeared one of the secondary computers was fried. They made a report, and attempted to send it to Electrolux internally. Electrolux refused to accept it.We called Electrolux yet again, saying we have a report from a certified Frigidaire technician, and could we please have an email to forward the report to. Electrolux said that never happens and only certified technicians can send reports. I told Electrolux that they themselves had already refused to receive the report internally. The call person refused to provide any email and told me to call the certified technician and tell them to send again. We updated the certified technician, who said they would try again. They were again refused, and had to try and send the report through Electroluxs Contact Us form on their website. We then had to wait nearly 2 weeks before Electrolux called back, just to say nothing is covered and it isnt their problem. To replace the computers is very expensive, and with the other issues we have had with the other fridges, we had to just buy an entirely new fridge (not from Electrolux). Normally I give the benefit of the doubt over and over, but this is by far the worst service and quality I have seen - especially considering the level of luxury Electrolux is supposed to have. We will not be using Electrolux again and we will be recommending against it to any clients in the future. Thank you.

Our Family purchased the Front Loading Washer and Dryer, just under five years ago. To be honest we were happy with the set for the first three or so years. Then we started to notice a Gas smell in our Laundry Room. We had our local gas company out a couple times to try to locate the problem. They could not trace the source? (We always were throwing a load in the washer or dryer, as we were leaving to run errands, work, or whatever). So we never could figure it out for the longest time. Come to find out, while the dryer was drying our clothes, Natural Gas was leaking not from the gas lines, connectors, or something that you would normally think! But from actually around the Drum while the clothes were drying. (Thank God we had good ventilation. Who knows what could have happened) After determining the source, we finally had a Electrolux Authorized Service Person to come out. Come to find out it is a $500 Part, that we have to order and then when it finally arrives, they can come back and pay additional fees to pull it out of the tight fitting Laundry Room Upstairs. At that point we were very upset with the Service Man, who then explained how Electrolux has become a company of ill reputation. To date the washer and dryer now sit in the middle of our garage floor, sacrificing our Indoor parking. We just went out and purchased a Brand New LG Front Loading Washer and Dryer Set. We had attempted to try to get some sort of arrangement made with Electrolux, but was met with the same stone walls everyone else here on this board seems to. Pay money, pay money, go away or do not pay anymore money, but go away. I am hoping that there some class action lawsuits filed and then and only then will they be forced to eat their praised product lines.

Refrigerator Model # EI23CS55GSI Side by Side w/ indoor ice and water manufactured June 2008, installed in 2009, malfunctioning since 2012! Absolutely the WORSE appliance purchase ever. Electronic control panel went out once while in warranty, replaced, 14 months later breaks again, now it doesnt even work, all I get is a readout of C for the freezer and CE for refrigerator. Still makes ice, but no water dispensing, lights work rarely, no way to manually regulate temperatures, all the drawer slider mechanisms - which were made out of very cheap plastic parts have come undone, or just broke. Called an appliance repair company and cost of new control panel is nearly $1000.00 --- absolutely ridiculous!!! This thing has had issues since first installed. Microwave works but LED readout/clock/light do not work at all. All control panel buttons on dishwasher have faded and are coming loose, and this is all in a condo I use about 3 times per week only and I am just one person. So far, (knock on wood) the gas range has worked properly. Electrolux has horrible customer service, factory authorized techs hate these products and readily admit they would never purchase them for their families, nor recommend them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH ELECTROLUX/ELECTROLUX ICON PRODUCTS!!!

Worst customer service, next to Fiat Corp, at least. On hold for 55 minutes waiting for a supervisor whom the customer service rep initially refused to get and then the supervisor refused to talk to me. I managed to call on a different phone and a helpful rep got me a supervisor in 8 minutes! Bottom line, my 2 month old Electrolux dishwasher has a plate rack that routinely collapses. After breaking several plates I decided to call for repair. They wanted me to troubleshoot, which I refused since I have moved nothing since getting the unit. The supervisor then informs me that I will be charged for the service call since the racks that hold the plates vertical are considered cosmetic and not functional and therefore not covered? Really? I dont need those racks to have my dishes cleaned? And apparently there are no actual lists of cosmetic and functional parts. It’s all arbitrary and based on what the company wants. Never another Electrolux or Frigidaire for me!

In January 2016 I purchased an Electrolux electric range, model E130EF4CQSB, serial number AF55000584. In February 2017 while I was cooking dinner one evening, the glass cooktop suddenly shattered. I called Electrolux customer service and was told to email pictures of the damage, which I did. About five minutes later Electrolux called me back to say that their technician had determined that I caused the damage by dropping a heavy object onto the cooktop. I protested that I had done nothing of the kind, but was told the technicians judgment was final and my (five-year) warranty on the cooktop would not be honored. Subsequently I had to pay $570.40 to have the cooktop replaced. I do not believe that Electrolux has a technician standing by at all times to assess broken cooktops. I think the company simply defrauds customers by declaring falsely that customer abuse has occurred.

Purchased a Frigidaire Gallery side by side in December and had it delivered to a new house. We purchased January 23rd and the fridge was delivered the next day. On February 4th I came home from work and found my kitchen and dining room flooded and the hardwood floors in the dining room are warped and water-stained. The reason for the water damage was that the water in the door of the fridge came on by itself and ran for hours. A couple of days later, I got a call from Wendy of Electrolux in the claims department, letting me know that I should claim with my home owners insurance because if I file one with Electrolux, I will have to get to estimates and they will only pay a prorated amount on my wood floor because the house was built in 2005. In Oct. of 2009, I redid my kitchen and UNFORTUNATELY purchased my refrigerator ($2899.00), wall oven (no major issues), microwave (never worked correctly from day one) and dishwasher ($1200.00) at one time and thought that going w/ Electrolux for all four was the way to go. I had purchased the fridge and dishwasher along w/ a 4-yr. extended warranty for both. I have never in my life dealt with shoddier made appliances and a company that has NO clue how to manufacture ANYTHING but vacuums. The fridge had SIX service calls for a defective ice maker that could NEVER be fixed. It wasnt until our service tech (who by now was like family) called Electrolux directly and got us a refund for the purchase price of a 4 yr. old fridge. Last week, the dishwasher decided to leak water out from underneath it. It too had 4 service calls on it and has NEVER done a decent job of cleaning the dishes. Now that the warranty is up, the dishwasher is being replaced w/ a Bosch unit that was $400.00 less than the Electrolux and comes w/ a BETTER warranty and the backing of a company who knows what the hell theyre doing. I CANNOT STRESS IT ENOUGH -- STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ANYTHING ELECTROLUX!!! Even w/ extended service plans, they are nothing but stainless steel BOAT ANCHORS!!!!!!

July 2010 saw purchase of new refrigerator, Electrolux, who happens to be one of two major providers of appliances in this country. Received a one year warranty (as long as I was willing to pay for the authorized serviceman to come verify my claim of what was wrong with it because only the parts themselves were free). Eight months after owning it the door handle broke off upon opening it. Normal wear and tear with two adults and zero children. It was covered under warranty. Eight months after that the same thing happened with the door handle breaking off in my hand. No coverage as warranty expired. That takes us up to today, in 2016. FIVE YEARS and a couple months... How long should a consumer expect to be able to get use of an appliance such as a fridge? The one we replaced was 22 years old and still running, but I wanted energy efficient appliances. Bad decision! They sure dont make them solid like that anymore... At least not mine.So today, spring cleaning, I discovered that the left and right sides both are covered in little hairline cracks, all over the sides. Almost looks like what would happen if something got too hot then too cold or vice versa... I dont have any idea how this kind of fractures on the inside of the fridge could happen. Unless it is because of manufacturers defective product. Something about the material they used is just not up to par for what is needed in a fridge. Thats my first guess. But of course there is zero warranty and the phone rep would not even discuss possibilities of the company taking responsibility for defective products. I will be watching close though, to see if there is ever a recall on them. It wont be able to be used for very much longer. Five years on a fridge? Is that supposed to be the new standards we are going to be forced into dealing with from one of two of the major providers of appliances in the United States? I sure hope not. They are too expensive and really too heavy to replace every five years. Wow, will the land fills be filling up then, huh.

Thank goodness we got the extended warranty. Next the microwave door handle came off. They came out and replaced it. Unfortunately, it has happened again, our warranty is over so we will be purchasing a new microwave. Not an Electrolux. Our dishwasher door was malfunctioning. The service rep told the warranty people that it was non repairable. The piece that needed to be replaced was a small plastic piece that he said they couldn’t get to replace. He also said that we must have been responsible for it breaking so they would not replace the dishwasher. I purchased a 48-in duel fuel range in 2009. The range was not properly wired, and I have had nothing but problems. My range was actually built by Dacor but that is not the problem. The problem is Electrolux. I have made numerous calls to Electrolux to ask for assistance, request diagnosis of problems, and to try to locate repairmen. Nothing. I finally found a local repairman who has beaten a path to my house from his shop. The latest problem is a circuit board that controls the small oven. That oven inadvertently switches to broil during baking and needless to say, I burns food to a crisp. The repairman has called Electrolux, Electrolux acknowledges the problem because it has happened numerous other times to other people. It is an Electrolux problem, and Electrolux still will not warrant that part which is costly. I have never been offered an extended warranty on my range, but if I were, I would certainly collect all the costs associated with this piece of equipment and get rid of it. Viking or Wolf would certainly be better than the inefficient products Electrolux puts out. Buy Electrolux at your own risk.

Never buy an Electrolux side-by-side refrigerator with a water dispenser and ice maker. We bought one in 2011. After the first year, the water dispenser began to function erratically (the water wouldnt stop running). Over time, this problem cascaded into a myriad of problems that caused the entire unit to fail. We had paid for the extended warranty, so Electrolux replaced it. But now, the replacement unit has the same problems! Were reluctant to start the repair process, fearing this unit may also self-destruct. Our only option is to again pay $800 for the extended warranty but a good product should not require customers to endlessly invest in warranties. This product seems to have an inherent defect that the company has failed to fix. Save yourself this grief and buy some other brand of refrigerator besides an Electrolux.

Purchased washer and have had major problems with black mold around the seal inside of door. Attempted to contact Electrolux about problem and was advised to purchase new seal. No matter how many seals are purchased, it will not resolve the problem of black mold. Very disappointed with not only the product but customer services.

Bought a new front load washer and dryer from large local furniture & appliance distributor. An upgrade we thought from the used appliances we got from my fiances parents (which should be noted had last 12... yes, TWELVE years). Not even 3 months in and the washer quit. The issue - the flywheel in the back came loose, or was simply not tightened properly when built (HINT - manufacturer DEFECT!!!), and cut deep grooves in the back of the hard plastic housing, so far you can see through it. And it eventually threw the belt off, thus giving the tub no agitation to wash or spin. That was how we discovered something was broken. Completely useless washer. And that is exactly how Electrolux is now working with us (LOL) to resolve the problem. THEY are completely useless!!! Even their local authorized service company confirmed it was inoperable, that it was irreparable AND it was a manufacturer DEFECT. And to further the agony, the apparent leakage of water over probably a few weeks, has caused water damage and mold to the brand new linoleum and woodwork we put into the laundry room as part of our upgrade. And their response - file a claim with OUR insurance company and then see if theyll subrogate. WHY should we do that when YOUR APPLIANCE DEFECT caused the problem?! I say again, Electrolux is completely USELESS! NEVER again will we buy ANYTHING Electrolux. We thought these new washer & dryer were a dream, but now has turned into an incredible nightmare!Hey Electrolux, heres a noble idea... Stand behind your products and take care of the consumer and maybe even small problems will be overlooked and youll get a better reputation. NOT with us mind you, that is utterly shot to heck! Completely useless!!! In closing, AVOID ELECTROLUX PRODUCTS AT ALL COSTS! Save yourselves from the insanity and stress. Weve been hassling with them almost 3 weeks now and no washer. They are a horrible company to deal with. Thank you for reading.

I bought Electrolux dishwasher, range, and refrigerator in 2009 from Lowes
I bought Electrolux dishwasher, range, and refrigerator in 2009 from Lowes in Marble Falls, TX. The dishwasher was damaged when arrived, then not installed properly. After several attempts to get Lowes to replace it, and then several more phone calls with Electrolux, I finally had a new one installed. It always leaked, and I could get no one to take responsibility. It was the worst dishwasher I ever had, so I finally replaced it with a KitchenAid, which I love. The refrigerator is terrible! The filters need replacing all the time, the crisper freezes my lettuce, even on the warmest setting, so I can only use the right half of the drawer. The same is true for the cheese drawer. The ice and water dispenser do not shut off every time, which makes a huge mess on the floor. Came home last night from vacation, the CE alarm was going off, and everything in the refrigerator and freezer was ruined. Again, Electrolux will do NOTHING! I guess I will also throw the refrigerator out and replace it with a KitchenAid.

This has been the worst product ever to purchase. I bought a Frigidaire Gallery Series refrigerator back in May of 2016 and had problems ever since. It was the refrigerator on top with two doors and a freezer at the bottom. Had I known that these appliances were only going to last 5 to 7 years tops, I would not have purchased such a flawed product. That is the life expectancy of these products and people dont usually know that. I have had 7 repair people come and take a look at it and they say it cant be fixed and not working at all. It wont get cold or make ice and it has been down for 6 weeks. So dont purchase this product.

I bought a new standing Leonard freezer code number MUFF21VL-220 MUFF21VLHW-L. It is supposed to be frost free, but unfortunately it makes ice in the upper freezer shelf. It was checked twice by Ale ASA company, your dealer at Al Khobar, not able to repair yet. I bought this brand because I had good past experience with same brand fridge. Now I am disappointed. Please I need a solution to this issue. Since this reflects very bad on marketing your product. Hope to hear from you soon.

Purchased an Electrolux dishwasher in June of 2014. Have never really been happy with the response of the digital controls, but since we paid almost $1000 figured I would have to grin and bear it. Had to have a service last year because of error code .30. Tech explained that this very seldom happens, but he fixed it and went on his way. Everything was okay until about three weeks ago when the same code came up and you could hear something like water running in the machine. Called repair and they evaluated and advised that repair would be almost $500. At this point I have almost paid 2/3 of the cost of the machine again! Contacted Electrolux and gave them all the info; the repair service furnished to them what would be necessary to repair and the cost of repair.Electrolux is investigating and will get back to me. In the meantime, I have 17 people coming for Thanksgiving with no dishwasher. The service tech indicated this is just representative of any appliance you purchase now. Where did pride in a quality product go? If for no other reason, we need to get manufacturing back in our country in hopes of a different quality outcome. Bottom line: Can you intervene with the manufacturer, which in this case is Electrolux, to help consumers like me?

Hi, double door refrigerator suddenly stopped cooling. I called customer care, they visited several weeks later. Without much checking they refilled the gas. It worked for a while, again repeated the same process, refilled for second time, after a while it didnt work again. Now if I call customer care they are not coming to repair, closing the complaint saying that I was not reachable which is not correct. I feel cheated and purchased the product from wrong brand. Bought 20 cuft Frigidaire freezer in Dec. 2020. Did not work correctly after 2 weeks, frosted up. Fan stopped working. Light did not work. Electrolux who now owns frigidaire, sent out service man a week later. After missing with the door the service man said he would have to order a new door and gasket. After several weeks (the freezer had now stopped working) the door and gasket where delivered. The service man never returned or answered my calls. I called electrolux. They sent out a different company. After a few weeks the service man said he would have to order some parts. He did do something with the fan motor. He did order some parts. After several weeks, 3 or 4 I called the service company and they told me that one of the parts was on back order. After 6 months the part came in. A month before I plugged in the freezer and it started working. Still frosted up and no light. The service man returned and after about 30 minutes he said it needed another part. He was not using the part we had waited over 6 months to get. A week later he returned, put some shims in the original door and everything worked right. Not end of story. The new door is still on my sun room floor on a pallet (6ft long). Its now been 8 months, They kept telling me they were going to pick it up. Now they say because its a residence they cant get it pick up, they had it DELIVERED. Now they say its up to me to dispose of it at my expense. I think I am going to try and sell it!

We purchased a new washer and dryer and was promised a $200 rebate from Electrolux. The products were purchase late October of 2017 and were delivered early Nov. 2017. We filed for the rebate online as it was supposed to be a “lot quicker”. Several days later, on November 21, we received an email stating that our request was received and that it would take approximately 7 business days to review the claim. The email lists a link to check on the status of the claim. However when you go to the website it is a non-secure website and we get a warning that it is not recommended to open the link. On Dec. 20th we received an email that said the prepaid Citibank MasterCard for $200 was mailed to us and we should receive it within 3 weeks. (Not sure what planet it was mailed from that takes 3 weeks). The email stated a number to call if we did not receive within the 3 weeks. As of today, 1/15/2018 we have not received the rebate card so my wife, called that number. She was told it was processed on the 11th. When questioned about that he said it was “requested by Electrolux on Jan. 11th. When questioned further he said we should receive it by the 25th of this month. However if we do not have it by then call back. It is rather obvious that the scam is to not mail the rebate unless the customer complains that they have not received it in the hope that the customer will forget about it. Also obvious is that we are not going to forget about it so hopefully it will actually be sent soon. Of course if and when we get the rebate it is prepaid credit card which I am sure they hope we will lose and not use. We will probably never purchase anything from this company again as they are not trustworthy and we are not comfortable with their sales tactics.

Can only wonder if the GE acquisition is a factor in the terrible cust service from this once prestigious company! Previous service calls were handled professionally and never had an issue until Sept 15 when I called cust service and ordered replacement part which covers the motor, etc on back of refrig. Unit arrived approx 10 days later damaged beyond use due to improper packaging of unit (modified box broke open, packing material missing, and unit was crushed). Called cust service back and a replacement unit was shipped out and arrived 4 days later but it was the wrong part. There are only two parts on the backside of a refrig -- the metal plate covering 90% of the unit and the cardboard panel covering the motor, etc! Called cust service again and was advised even though Electrolux rep ordered the wrong part, they would only waive restock fee and I was financially responsible for return shipment for a 35 x 13 x 5 box. Lastly, submitted online complaint to cust service expressing my disagreement with the shipping issue. Next day received email reply stating Saw you called in and matter was resolved by waiving of restock fee.I seriously question if there is some type of learning/listening disability issue (such as Attention Deficit Disorder) with the Electrolux service staff. Or perhaps they just dont care -- put in their hours and collect a paycheck and go home. Three out of four reps failed to listen/absorb what was being said and merely mouthed platitudes and repeated errors. While I was very polite to all of the cust service reps, I am thoroughly disgusted with the corporation and would not recommend Electrolux products.

Electrolux owns Frigidaire. We purchased a washer in March of 2015. 8 months later it was replaced with same model. Again 8 months later the washer needs replaced except this time I was informed that the model we had is no longer being manufactured. I asked for a refund or credit to choose something of our choice. Their response to me was that I either accept what they have to offer or case closed. What they had to offer was a machine nowhere close to an equivalent of the one we purchased. It was delivered in August of 2016 and replaced on November 7. We are now on our 4th washing machine in 18 months. We had a repairman out here on November 14 and November 30 for the same problems the previous machine was having. We now have had this piece of ??? for a month and all they want to do is send another repairman out. Instead of talking to the repairman directly they are wanting me to fill them in on the repairmans diagnosis. I insisted that they talk to them directly and wont do it. What is the point of having a repairman if they are not going to follow up with them. All I want is a refund of our money so we can go on and not have to deal with them anymore. This machine is Frigidaires top loader. It has a terrible vibrating sound. Also, the machine shuts off during a cycle and all the panel lights will flash. Another issue is the length of time it takes to wash – 60-90 minutes.

We have a maintenance contract w/ Electrolux for French Door ref purchased Dec 2010.. We were advised by tech contracted with Elux that the company made this ice maker for 18 mos. Due to failure of same, ice maker replaced in new products. Currently, we have had no ice maker since Jul 7 2014. We have had terrible service from both Elux and local tech. All reps apologize for inconvenience, appreciate our frustration, take a msg and nothing happens. I have a ref/file number, still no resolution. Page 1 of the Maintenance service contract states No Lemon Guarantee with requirements that we have met. Being that we have a ref/file number, tech said unit would be replaced. Again, poor service from Electrolux service i.e advised that no photos recd, no report received when service provider, MasterTech contact Lydia, says photos were emailed and report was sent to Elux. MasterTech sent email photos to me yesterday at my request. I forwarded these emails to Elux to Stacy, customer service (?) rep at Elux with request that she has recd email. No response. I am going to contact local vendor as well as TV station, The Turko File, to report this terrible service. As a very satisfied customer with ref but very unsatisfied with ice maker issue and no real assistance other than empty apologies, its time to move to another level. We referred this style ref to friends who purchased after we did; they evidently have the upgraded ref w/ ice maker and love the product. That being said, I would not purchase an Elux ref EVER again and their contracted service technicians are paid very little - they are not paid for additional visits. A losing proposition for techs and then ultimately, us as consumers.

As in other reviews we had problems with the ice maker on our Electrolux fridge. It was also repaired twice and now it works intermittently, plus we get some gray mold like contamination in some of the cubes. Our microwave window was replaced once because of a foggy deposit on the inside of the glass, the fog is back again! The display is fine for everyday use but if you try doing some programming the display is illegible. Our dishwasher has a plethora of wash choices of which none do as good a job as our much cheaper GE Profile in Florida. Unless you basically hand wash the plates, pans, and silverware, you will end up with some food residue on some of the items. The flat top range does not have a exhaust vent only a cooling fan for the electronics which blows out the front. If some dripping end up smoking in the oven, the smoke stays there until you open the door and the smoke sets off the alarms in the house! To top it off, one has to buy every few months an expensive water filter for the fridge, and when putting the range in clean mode, you have to remove all the racks and side bars for it to work so you end up with a clean oven but dirty racks! When we first purchased the trio it was promised that we would get a $300 rebate, which we never received because we submitted the paperwork incorrectly! We received no help from the store because it was a strictly Electrolux deal, and none from Electrolux themselves. In spite of the fact they had proof of purchase, which should have been enough to qualify us for the rebate, they never made any effort to satisfy us. As mentioned earlier, I would have been a lot more satisfied with a GE or LG product for at least half the price!

6 Appliances, 12 problems, expensive solutions: We built this new home about 5 years ago. Its just the two of us and our dog. In the past 5 years we use the home about 7 months of the year. Every single appliance has had problems, too many to outline. Some of the problems Electrolux has no fix for other than expensive parts to fix parts that they knew did not work. More problems are on the way, as our microwave has stopped rotating and our freezer is making a funny noise as well as the fan in the convection oven is making sounds that it did not make before. These are all top of the line appliances that should last more than a couple of years of use. However Electrolux does not agree or care. I am going to start a class action lawsuit in Canada against them, my email is **. Write me if you would like to join in.

My husband purchased this dishwasher from Home Depot a year ago. From the day it was installed, it has given us nothing but problems. If a dishwasher had the power to ruin a persons day, this is the model that would do that. The electronic display never works. Just never works. Push them all day to try to start a load of dishes and you get nothing but beeps. You cannot simply push the type of load and hit start, as most dishwashers allow you to do. Its all computerized and nothing works. When we finally do hit the buttons enough times to get the machine to start, it runs a cycle and the dishes come out the same as they went in - not cleaned at all.Weve called Home Depot... Weve called Electrolux - all to no avail. Electrolux sent out a serviceman who did nothing. They wouldnt accept a return for this horrible machine, yet charged over $1000 for it. I have a brand new home with brand new appliances. Since we purchased the home in January the dishwasher has never worked correctly. We have had repair persons out to repair it 4-5 times. Every time they leave it is worse than when they started. Last Monday June 15th a repair person came out, the dishwasher does not work at all now! He told me he would put in a request for replacement, he did not.. So after receiving no contact regarding the dishwasher I called on Thursday June 18th, the lady that day told me she put in a request for replacement and someone would call me with 24 hours. After receiving no phone call as of Tuesday June 23rd I called back. That lady told me that I was told incorrectly and it could 48-72 hours. So after receiving no phone call as of Wednesday June 24th I called again. No supervisor was available but the lady I spoke to said she escalated the request and someone would call me within 24 hours. After again receiving no phone call as of today June 25th I called again. This time the lady said I was again mistold. I was now told it would be 3 business days, not 24 hrs.As you can see I can not understand why no one will call me back and my dishwasher has not been replaced/repaired. We were going on 12 days without a dishwasher. While I understand this isnt a 911 emergency I have four kids and a life. Being that my house is brand new and the appliances were an upgrade Im a lot pissed off!

Warning. Do not buy from this company. We bought a Frigidaire double oven. Paid $1500. The very first time we try to cook on it the unit completely shorted out. We contacted Electrolux. They sent out J&M appliances to repair the unit. They replaced the fans four times, the motherboard three or four times plus numerous other parts. J&M Appliances have been to my house 10 times to fix different things but it went wrong with the unit and four times to diagnose it. They called Electrolux for me trying to get me a new unit being it was only a few months old. Electrolux denied the new unit so, I’ve sent emails to the CEO jonas.samuelson@electrolux.com and I believe it was the Vice President jan.brockmann@electrolux.com. Neither of them have responded back to me. Here’s the kicker. I spoke with a RITA **. She’s some kind of an executive assistant pretty high up. I told her I wanted a new unit. That this was ridiculous having to leave work and meet the service rep 14 times. So she told me she was not going to replace the unit. I was out of luck. Mind you it’s still under the one-year warranty. I have proof with the receipt. She didn’t care. Also Rita ** put a block on my Electrolux account so nobody else can help me with the problem anymore. I’ve called them numerous times asking to speak or two different managers and the managers tell me that she put a lock on it and only she can get into my account now. Be warned about this company. Do not purchase any of their appliances. The one year manufacturer warranty or any other warranties do not matter to this company. Do your research. Read all the reviews on Facebook, Yelp and any other social media. I should’ve done it before I purchased with them. I would not have bought any of my appliances through them. This is one crooked company.

Our Electrolux Fridge model EI23BC60KS (ELECTROLUX, REF F/S 24D, FRENCH DOOR, F/D, 23CUFT, 24D, HDN HNG, I/M) started overheating about 9 months post purchase. Since then weve taken at least 12 days off work so far to have service technicians come check it out (6x now) and then waited approx a week to get a second visit where they replaced a different part each time or turned it off. Worst is that every time, weve lost hundreds of dollars in food and we have a baby so had to purchase a mini fridge to at least keep his basic items like milk cool. When I reached out to Electrolux Canada Head office the last time, they indicated they couldnt do anything other than paying for parts given it was the same issue identified during warranty period because I didnt purchase replacement insurance (this was two days post warranty period). Again the same thing happened so this will be our 7th call to a servicing company. This is the second set of Electrolux appliances (we had them in our old house as well and I recommended them to friends and family given no their sleek design). Its so not worth it though unless youre ok having a fridge that doesnt actually function. This has been the worst product and customer support experience Ive had in my life. I paid a lot of money for a fridge that didnt even last 9 months, lost hundreds of dollars in food, taken several days off work to try and resolve and still no solution or support from Electrolux whatsoever.

Please do not purchase Electrolux appliances. I unfortunately did not do my research before and deeply regret it as I am now in the hole about as much as I paid for it originally in repairs and it still does not work. I have spent numerous calls and hours with customer service and to no avail. They simply dont care if you ever purchase from them again and I definitely will not. The interface board on ours was faulty from the beginning and after being replaced still did not work. The ice maker would freeze over and after even repairing it broke again. We have been using ice trays for two years due to not being able to afford to pay the repair cost and another part since it was out of warranty at that point. I have filed a complaint with the State Dept. of Consumer Affairs and to file suit to replace a defective design. We are contacting their legal department due to the fact they knew it was a defective design and will not fix it or replace it. Electrolux used to be a great company and unfortunately like many today just dont care about the consumers who purchase with their hard earned money from them. The only recourse is to just not give them the money in the future so I highly recommend you do your research before throwing your money away with them.

After furnishing my home in Canada with all Electrolux products, I felt they were good quality and decided to do the same with my new home in the US. Bad choice!! The $4000 refrigerators ice maker went out almost immediately. The serviceman said this was a big problem with Electrolux. He repaired it, but its gone out several times since then. He said Electrolux has a kit they send out to fix the problem, but they didnt offer it to me. The refrigerator went out completely last month, and I lost $500 worth of food. I had to pay for the service call myself, as Electrolux says their warranty is only good for one year. Never mind that I have a long list of calls with complaints. Ice maker is not working again, and now the control panel is going out. This is the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned and I am very disappointed in Electrolux customer service department. Its just too bad and thats about it, other than I can spend more money on the piece of garbage and maybe then they will extend their warranty??????? The dishwasher was top of the line at the time I bought it too, and its just ok. I have to hand wash everything before putting it in or it wont come out clean. Nothing special about it. Why wasnt I offered the repair kit for a known problem while it was under warranty and I had the problems the kit was for? My service repair rep said they give it to some and not others. I contacted Electrolux because a bad smell was coming from the drain pan, since this was the first time I ever had this problem. When I tried to pull the drain pan out to empty, it was to my surprise that the pan would not coming without taking the fridge apart. Since this was a manufacturing defect I would think they would offer to take care of the problem. But I got an e-mail from customer service to tell me to lay on the floor and stick a rag into the pan to empty or use a turkey baster. Since I am 66 years old and a stroke victim that is not an option for me they refuse to do anything. I contacted Lowe’s where it came from, their customer service offer no help. Sorry I have vision problems so caps are the only way I can see what I write.

I have a 6 month old $800+ upright Frigidaire freezer made by Electrolux, after less than 3 months it quit working, lost hundreds of dollars worth of food. Its now been in non working condition 3 months even after 5 service calls. This freezer has been sitting in my home in NON-WORKING condition for 3 months now. Electrolux agreed to replace it in August... The first date they scheduled this delivery on Sept. 8th, they never showed up or called. They again rescheduled for today, September 21st and now Im being told they cant deliver it today. Ive lost countless hours with customer service, hundreds of dollars worth of food, two days loss of work waiting for delivery of the replacement that didnt show up. Its the worse experience I have ever had with an appliance in my life. The customer service is even worse than the garbage products they sell! Run!

We purchased our Washer Dryer set less than a year ago. Already it has broken down twice. Both times, a bolt that holds the pulley to the back of the drum has loosened itself causing the pulley to cut into the drum housing and cause leakage. When contacting Electrolux the first time, the repair company they sent made 4 trips out to repair the unit, and we were without a working washer for several weeks. This time they dispatched a company that came out to assess the problem and then returned several days later to make the repair. They showed up at 8:00 pm on a Sunday night, and it is now 11:23 pm and it still isnt back together. To top it off, the repair person just informed me that a wire inside the machine was damaged and he will have to order a new one and return again. Electrolux has told us they will not replace the machine as long as their technician says it is repairable. I am very disappointed. For what we pay for these high end appliances, customer service is a joke. I live 35 miles from the nearest laundromat, and this is a total pain in the ** for my family of four... We have had to resort to hand washing my childrens school uniforms daily to get by and Electrolux seems to feel we arent entitled to a product that performs as advertised. I hope someone files a class action suit. I will never purchase Electrolux products again. Frigidaire has destroyed what was once the best brand name in the business.

My fridge was defective, it became evident 1.5 years into using it, but when I called I was told it was cosmetic and I had to pay for it myself. Then 5 years into it right after the extended warranty ended there was rust discovered in the back due to a hole because it was a defective product, the tech they sent made it worse by just covering it up. Now a 7 year old fridge... the entire back is rusted and now $3200 is gone. Knowing they made a mistake I am offered a 20% discount on another fridge. Customer service is nonexistent. Terrible product terrible service just awful! DO NOT BUY!

I have an Electrolux Wave Touch Electric Range model # EW30EF65GSH, purchased in January 2011 for $3,000. My thought was that, spending that much, we would be receiving a quality product. Yesterday my range starting beeping and showed an E11 error code. Repair man came and informed me that the part to fix this problem would cost almost $600 and it would be $200 for him to do the repair. This is a range that is very gently used - dont cook at home that much. Customer Service offered to discount the part by 20% after much time on the phone with them. So, my $3000 range is now costing me $750 to repair and I have no oven or stove top for a week. There is no way I would ever spend the money on an Electrolux again.

I got the Electrolux dishwasher as a package from our home builder. We had problems from the start. Within the first year, while it was still under warranty, we had to get it serviced three times. It would not dry the dishes, the pump failed so it would discharge the water. Right now the touch controls are unusable. I have to open-close the door ~10 times before I can simply press start. Forget about selecting any custom wash cycle. Every so often even that does not work and I have to cycle the power to the unit at the fuse box. We are waiting for the unit to die to replace it. My only consolation is that I did not spend any money on service. I am never buying another Electrolux appliance again, and I am telling everyone I know to follow suit.

I purchased this washing machine not even three years ago. Nobody wants to repair it as it costs more than to buy a new one, which I am doing now. I will never buy nor will I recommend this product to anyone. I shall be sure and advise everybody that I know, and will put it on Facebook for others to recommend this site. The product is faulty and not worth the money you pay for it.

I purchased the Electrolux cabinet depth french door refrigerator, duel fuel slide-in range, and microwave 3 years ago. To date, I have repaired the ice maker; the refrigerator door gaskets; and the tracks for the freezer draw. These repairs exceeded $1000. In addition, the plastic piece on the door handle of the microwave dried up and cracked and had to be replaced. The piece above the microwave door broke and also needed to be replaced. This is a 3 member household, no young children. Our previous refrigerator lasted for more than 20 years.

I wish I had read reviews on the Electrolux refrigerators before purchasing. I have owned the refrigerator 2 years. The Ice maker has been repaired 3 times, but still doesnt work correctly. The main board failed recently and cost $500 to repair and took two weeks to get repaired. We also have trim coming off the freezer. The repairman says wed need to replace the whole door to fix. Im so frustrated. The customer service is horrible. The product is worse.

We have a very big Electrolux fridge at our parents' house. We've had about 3 different refrigerators in the past 25 years and hands down it's the best we've ever had. The freezer is so cold that it takes less than an hour and a half for tap water to become ice. It's even colder than my ex's heart, LOL. The fridge itself is also very spacious. We never run out of space for food considering the fact that my mom has a tendency to hoard food in the ref for weeks. Everything stays nice and fresh when it's put inside our Electrolux fridge. Being that Electrolux is not really a popular refrigerator brand here (or anywhere I think), I would definitely recommend others to give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

I bought a brand new Electrolux dishwasher in February. It never worked correctly so I called Electrolux as it was brand new. Over the past 6 months they have sent 5 Electrolux certified repairmen over. Each one has given me a different excuse and remedy. I finally talked to one of these repairmen and asked why I kept getting these remedies and not a replacement and I was informed that if he were to say that the dishwasher needed to be returned or replaced that he might lose his contract as a certified Electrolux repairman. So Im on a hamster wheel now with a VERY expensive non-operational dishwasher.

I purchased an Electrolux front loading washer (model # EIFLS60LT.).. from hhgregg in Indianapolis, Indiana on 1/4/14. The washer started developing problems in December of 2015. Through a series of mishaps from the extended warranty service (Warrantech), the service people did not come out until 3/10/2016. On 3/12/16, I started a small load of clothes. About 75 minutes later, the whole upstairs was filled with smoke.

Where to begin. We purchased all of our Electrolux appliances when we built
Where to begin. We purchased all of our Electrolux appliances when we built our new home. Fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer. All Electrolux. We have had the induction stove in the past and loved it, so decided we would buy the same brand for all of our appliances. In the first few months of owning them we had problems with everything. The fridge ice maker gets clogged and leaks water. The microwave light stopped working and was replaced just barely under warranty. The new microwave control panel no longer lights up, therefore we cannot see what we are doing. It is now out of warranty and is apparently our problem. The dishwasher. Wow, what a disaster. It’s quiet and that’s about the only good thing going for it. It leaves the dishes wet no matter what cycle we put it on. We have replaced the control panel not once but twice under warranty and the one side still doesn’t work unless we bang really hard on it. It is now also out of warranty and they will not fix it. The washing machine detergent drawer doesn’t drain properly and always has water in it. The dryer is ok but the rubber gasket comes out all the time.We spent over $10,000 on our appliances. Appliances that are supposed to be “high end” but quite frankly, this company not only makes junk, they could care less about customer satisfaction or service. Being a business owner myself, I find this deplorable. I will never buy from Electrolux again and not even 3 years in to owning our appliances, we will be replacing both the dishwasher and the microwave as neither function to get their respective jobs done. Very disappointed. Save your money and buy another brand!

I purchased an Electrolux Wave Touch Standard Depth model EW28BS85KS5 a lit
I purchased an Electrolux Wave Touch Standard Depth model EW28BS85KS5 a little over two years ago. After less than a year, the Temp Perfect Drawer seized up and could not be opened. I worked with Electrolux rep to get the repair and all was covered under warranty. Either while I was waiting for repair or shortly after the repair was completed, I was contacted by and ESA representative and offered, for a price of course, an extended warranty. The representative was fully aware of the issues I had with the drawer. Since my confidence level in product quality was now low and believing the extended warranty was as comprehensive as the one year warranty, I purchased the extension. It has been a little more than a year and the drawer has the exact same issue. I contacted ESA to advise them of the recurrence. They advised me that the warranty does not cover the drawer. Only functioning parts of the refrigerator that maintain the cool temperature, the ice maker and the water dispenser. I have tried working with them, but to no success. I do not appreciate a product attribute that is designed to last only a year. I hesitate to spend the money to have it repaired again because I fear next year I will have to have it repaired again. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

We had to create space on our kitchen counters and decided to use the area above our stove. We had the small cupboard presently in place cut done by a few inches, removed the old range cover, and installed this microwave/ convection oven. Because of the convection oven, we are able to have three ovens at that location. We have a GE double oven with the control board on the front. Sometimes we use on of the stove ovens as a warmer, which we do have the space to add.
