36 Inch Stainless Steel Dual Fuel Freestanding Range, in Stainless Steel

Find big savings on Electrolux Range(s) at Appliances Helpers. Open Box and Floor Model Discounts Available on Major Brand Appliances! Low Prices.

Electrolux 36 Inch Freestanding Dual Fuel Range with Natural Gas, 6 Sealed Brass Burners, 4.4 cu. ft. Total Oven Capacity, Convection Oven, Continuous Grates, Viewing Window, True Convection, Temperature Probe, Brass Power Burner in Stainless Steel.

Dual Fuel: A dual fuel range typically has gas burners on the cooktop and an electric oven. This combination allows for precise control over the stovetop cooking temperature with the power and even heating of an electric oven.

Size: The "36-inch" specification refers to the width of the range. This is a relatively large size, offering more cooking surface area and oven capacity compared to standard 30-inch ranges.

Stainless Steel Finish: Stainless steel is a popular choice for kitchen appliances because of its durability and sleek appearance. It's resistant to stains and corrosion and is relatively easy to clean.

Freestanding: A freestanding range is designed to stand alone and doesn't require custom cabinetry or countertops. It's a versatile option for kitchens with different layouts.

Cooktop: The gas cooktop typically includes multiple burners with different heat outputs, allowing you to cook a variety of dishes simultaneously. Some models also have features like a griddle or grill.

Oven: The electric oven provides even baking and roasting. Depending on the model, it may have features such as convection cooking for faster and more even results, multiple racks, and a broil function.

Controls: The range often has user-friendly controls for adjusting the heat on the cooktop and selecting cooking modes in the oven. Some modern models also come with digital displays and smart features.

Ventilation: Adequate ventilation is essential when using a powerful range like this. Many kitchens have overhead ventilation hoods or exhaust systems to remove cooking odors and heat.

Maintenance: Stainless steel appliances require regular cleaning to maintain their appearance. Specialized stainless steel cleaners or simple solutions like vinegar and water can help remove fingerprints and smudges.

Installation: It's important to ensure proper installation of your dual fuel range, especially if you're replacing an existing range. Gas lines and electrical connections should be handled by qualified professionals to ensure safety and compliance with local codes.

When purchasing a 36-inch stainless steel dual fuel freestanding range, consider your cooking needs, kitchen space, and budget. It's also a good idea to read product reviews and compare different models to find the one that best suits your requirements.

This has been the worst product ever to purchase. I bought a Frigidaire Gallery Series refrigerator back in May of 2016 and had problems ever since. It was the refrigerator on top with two doors and a freezer at the bottom. Had I known that these appliances were only going to last 5 to 7 years tops, I would not have purchased such a flawed product. That is the life expectancy of these products and people dont usually know that. I have had 7 repair people come and take a look at it and they say it cant be fixed and not working at all. It wont get cold or make ice and it has been down for 6 weeks. So dont purchase this product.

I purchased a Frigidaire electric range 2 1/2 years ago. The oven suddenly died. After removing the back of the oven I found that the Electrolux board and wiring harness had arced and shorted out my oven. There is no evidence as to what caused the arc. I was advised by a technician not to replace the parts as it would likely happen again. I now have to purchase a new range and it will not in any way be manufactured by Electrolux

Electrolux is not living up to the no lemon clause of their service contract which states that if the same part on an appliance is replaced three times the customer is entitled to a cash settlement or another comparable appliance. This contract is not followed by Electrolux for my washer because they do not maintain the records. I have an email from them which states this. Furthermore, the local service companies they use also have no accurate records. They reuse the same service tickets and do not record the part numbers so it is impossible for the customer to make a claim. I have proof of this as well. My transmission was replaced at least four times. They lie about fixing the machine which is still broken. According to them the washer moving away from the wall and damaging components is normal and operating according to factory specifications. Is this case a candidate for a class action law suit or other action?

I purchased a new apartment sized washer dryer combo approximately 2 and a half years ago. It was always noisy when it was on the spin cycle but then the noise became unbearable so I called an authorized repair service. I was told the shaft was broken and it would cost $700 or more to repair and there was no guarantee it wouldn’t happen again, that cost me $100. I called and complained to Electrolux and they said all they would do was cover 20% of the cost of new parts which to me is next to nothing. So the lesson is if you buy from Electrolux get the extended warranty and good to you.

Cleaning issues with my Electrolux Icon dishwasher go back to just a few mo
Cleaning issues with my Electrolux Icon dishwasher go back to just a few months after we purchased our home in June, 2015. There have been drainage problems and leakage problems, but the most consistent problem has been the fact that the top rack does not clean. Three authorized Electrolux licensed companies have worked on the dishwasher. Every part on the dishwasher has been replaced. Ive purchased countless cleaning products recommended by the technicians and the problem has not been solved. The top quarter of the dishwasher does not rinse clean and there is always food standing in the bottom of the machine (causing a terrible odor - one technician told me to rinse and wipe by hand - I have never had to do that before). I have requested a copy of my service record but was told that it was not available to me but that the technicians have all the information. The wrong part has been ordered twice (or just the wrong one sent... no one is quite sure) which means I have been confined to my have home twice in the past two weeks with no work done on the machine. Last month a technician said he just didnt know what else could be done, but when I told Customer Service this they said the technician hadnt put this in writing. Apparently there is a procedure that must be followed to get a replacement review for a product that cannot be fixed and it must be initiated by a technician. All this is in the notes that the CS reps says he is adding to my file, but I have very little faith in that. I get a different person each service call and they always want to try one more thing! I did purchase an extended service contract last year so I am not out any money at this time (although I paid over $400 after the warranty was up and my builder paid about the same), but I have devoted a tremendous amount of time and energy trying to get this fixed. My contract is up in July and I told Customer Service that I fully expected this to be resolved before then and not dragged out so that my contract expires before it is settled. I have four boxes of unusable parts being stored at my house. Electrolux could have bought me two new dishwashers for the amount of parts and labor that have been wasted on this machine. I have tried to be patient with this situation, but I have been tested to the limits and want some results.

I bought a chest freezer from Electrolux and it broke within 6 days. And then I called right away to get it replaced and they only do repairs. So they told me I had to make an appointment to get a repair but they would get back to me in five days to do so because they didnt have any availability. A week and a half later I called and they said they were still waiting on service (after they put me on a brief hold for two hours). I told the lady I wanted an update the next day and she never called. So I called back the next day – still nothing and still waiting on service. I bought it from Home Depot and that is the second appliance I bought from home depot not only did I have problems with but customer service gave me problems. I am a contractor. I will not buy so much as a drywall screw from home depot. And I will not purchase or install an Electrolux application for myself or anyone else. Absolute garbage and a sorry excuse for a company and ignorant customer service.

This is my second Electrolux appliance. The first one I got was a built-in double wall oven. Had a lot of problems with the oven. After a year, they replaced the oven. All has been good with the oven now, very happy with it. Needed a new dishwasher so I went back to Electrolux - it was 3/16/09. I keep having the same problem with it. I get an error code (Er01) leak detector. I have put so much money into this dishwasher, and it still does not work. They have replaced everything that they could inside the dishwasher. The service people said that there is nothing for them to do anymore. The service people said Electrolux should just replace the dishwasher like they did my oven. Its been over a year now and most of the time I do not have a working dishwasher. The time Im spending doing my dishes and the time Im on the phone with them is driving me nuts. I just want a dishwasher to do my dishes not me. I did not buy it to look good, and thats about all it can do. I never thought about taking photos when they were working on it. I started off being so nice. Now I just have one big headache after another each time I try to get them to repair my dishwasher. They keep telling me they are working on it, but all it does is cost me more and more and it still does not work.

The handle on our Microwave/hood broke one year ago and was replaced under an extended warranty. It broke again, same exact place as the first one less than a year in use by a household of two. No warranty coverage this time. When I contacted C/S their response was “I’ll be happy to schedule a service call, however it will be at your expense. I push back and the best I could do was a 50% discount on the part. When done I will spend approx 225.00 for parts and labor. When I questioned the possibility of a design problem, I was told that if there was they would have heard of it... Terrible design, terrible C/S answer, terrible Corp approach to a problem. This microwave was not inexpensive but the parts may well be of poor quality. I can’t not recommend Electrolux at this time.

We purchased an Electrolux washer (and dryer) - our first Electrolux brand
We purchased an Electrolux washer (and dryer) - our first Electrolux brand of major appliance. We are normally careful to read reviews and check the brand out. All the reviews regarding the product features and benefits were strong. Never having had a problem with all laundry appliances we have purchased over the last 20 years or so, we failed to check the feedback on quality and service. Did check with friends and family with Electrolux laundry appliances - and they had performance concerns but did not have any service issues. Within the first 9 months, the washer developed a bottom leak (which I now see is a common problem). We are not high volume users, doing about 4 to 6 loads every month. Upon calling Electrolux, it seems that the authorized service agent in my area (the greater Boston area) can only come out 2 weeks from the day I called. Since this is the only way I can have my appliance repaired and the cost covered under the manufacturers warranty, I accepted the appointment. I think that it is reasonable to expect a problem free first year (or longer for an appliance that costs as much), as has been our experience over the last 20+ years. And, if it seems that this is a common issue, and likely a manufacturing defect. In my view, the manufacturer should stand behind their reputation and provide extended warranty coverage to address known manufacturing defects while fixing the issue in their design and production. If this were a car, I am quite sure there would be a recall to fix the problem at no cost to the owner. Fortunately, the damage caused by the water leaking is not major in our case. Nonetheless, it is not usable as it is for an extended period. So, families who may have the washer installed where there is potential for water leakage damage or who cannot function without a washer for a couple of weeks (or more), or who may not want to incur the additional maintenance costs - may wish to exclude this brand from their consideration.

NEVER BUY ELECTROLUX!!! First know that I have previously purchased other products. GE that have lasted 2.5 times longer, no repairs and still running!! I decided to buy two higher END APPLIANCES thinking they would serve us well and add value to our home. WRONG! My refrigerator ice maker never worked properly. Finally I had it checked and repaired for about $600.00. Not many people service these products. Now the dishwasher broke! I called for assistance and they could not help me fix it (I removed the cover directed) then I said I will not pay for this to be fixed. They offered 50% off of parts to repair. I am in business. Parts are marked up at least 3 to 5 times the cost. So they are still making money. I said, fine, as long as I do not pay for service. They replied, cant help you there. Well, how insulting so I could be on the hook for a $300-$600 service call plus 50% of parts! I said, I am fair lets do this, Ill pay for the first $100 in service and 50% of parts. That is fair. If this product wasnt a bad product major repairs would not be necessary. So they could have used the money they would have made on the parts to pay for the balance of the service call. Please note we are a small household. Mother, Grandmother and daughter. These products are not overused or abused! NEVER BUY ELECTROLUX...ITS A WASTE OF MONEY!! IT WILL NOT LAST! THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS! It is not that things cannot go wrong, but its how you handle it, that really tells the story. I was more than reasonable and they still wanted to insult me.

We purchased both an Electrolux gas-oven/range and a refrigerator a few years back at a high-end appliance store for our new remodeled $150,000 kitchen. With the assumption that Electrolux has been in the business of developing and building appliances for many other well-known companies, was why we decided to go with their new line. Unfortunately, their appliance line is far from quality, and just cheap junk that starts having serious problems within six months of use. First off, our Model: EW30DS65GS Gas Oven/Range’s circuit board started having issues right off the bat. Now mind you, I have owned a few LED alarm clocks that have lasted me over fifteen years without any problems.Within one year, the LED display on our Electrolux Gas Oven/Range went dead, and we were told it would cost us $350.00 to replace it because it was out of warranty. Our Electrolux refrigerator is just as pathetic, and we have had it serviced out more than five times within the first year, just so our food didn’t go bad! Their customer service is a joke, and they could care less about their customers. It’s fairly obvious that Electrolux appliances are just a cheap line of poorly built Chinese junk for the ignorant mass-market. Don’t waste your money or time!

I purchased my refrigerator two months ago and already had to be repaired three times!!! Now, after the third service, the ice maker not working again! This is ridiculous! The worst refrigerator ever! I called Frigidaire customer service and they told me that they will send out another company to fix it! If the first three repair man couldnt fix it, even if they changed every and each part of the fridge for a brand new part, they think that the fourth one could do different? I purchased a complete set of ICON Electrolux appliances just over 10 months ago. The first time we used the dishwasher, the control panel kept displaying a code 11 that indicated a drain valve issue. I contacted the customer service department and they referred me to a service company to come and review the issue. The service tech had no idea what he needed to do, and advised me that it was not an issue with the appliance, but an installation issue and advised there was nothing he could do. I then contacted a plumber at my own cost and was advised by a 25-year experienced plumber that there was nothing wrong with the installation and to contact Electrolux back to get a second opinion from another service tech. I contacted Electrolux back and after many complaints, they finally sent a different service company to review the product. The new service tech finally advised that the issue was due to the faulty computer board, which he advise Electrolux to replace. Electrolux then advised that the dishwasher I purchased was no longer available and the store which I purchased from gave me a refund. I then decided to give Electrolux another chance and purchased their product. Recently, I used the self-clean on my Electrolux ICON stove and when the self-clean was complete, I opened the stove and noticed the door window had dirty film in between the glass and there were two size toony marks on right and left side of the door. I wiped it with a damp cloth and pieces of the material started chipping off. I sent an email to their customer service department and they advised there was nothing they can do as their guarantee only covers working parts and not visual ones. I could not believe that I received such an email from a high-end company.

We purchased over $10,000 worth of appliances from Electrolux from an online company. Once the remodel was finished the appliances were installed. I was so happy to finally see my new appliances in action! To my dismay the oven did not work. I immediately called Electrolux and they referred me to several appliance repair companies for a warranty repair. Just like all of the other complaints that I have seen on this site, a month later, 2 technicians and several replacement parts my oven still does not work. I called Electrolux to ask for a replacement since the oven was still not working. I was told they will not replace the oven, that it has to be fixed. How can it be fixed, it has never worked! I now have a call into the company where we purchased the oven. Hopefully they will be able to do something to get us a working dryer. I do not recommend this brand. Do your homework and read the review before you purchase.

I purchased a Frigidaire freezer in 2007 and, three years later, I purchased an Electrolux Extended Warranty (service contract). During the life of the Extended Warranty I called for service because my freezer was not getting as cold as it should and it was accumulating a lot of frost (not a frost free model). Electrolux sent out a, so-called, service technician who looked at it and told me that there was too much food in it and freezers should not be loaded over 50% of their capacity. I found other accommodations for the excess food, ensuring that the freezer was not loaded more than 50% but this did not fix the problem. I called for service again and Electrolux sent out a, so-called, service technician from the same company who had a different story this time, telling me that the drawers at the bottom of the freezer were not going all of the way back, impeding the sealing of the door.I couldnt see that the drawers were impeding the closing and sealing of the door but I defrosted the freezer anyway and discovered that the door seal was still not sealing and I could feel the cold air escaping from the bottom door seal when the door was closed. I called for service again and requested another appliance repair company to do the inspection/repairs because all I was getting from the company that they were sending was a lot of busy work for me which was not fixing the problem. They did send another inspector who took several pictures of the door and bottom seal and left with the comment that the door was misaligned.Several days later I received a call from Electrolux stating that their findings were that the misalignment was the result of consumer abuse of the door and they would not repair the door. I informed them that was absurd and an examination of the pictures that the technician took would show that the door was not damaged and there was no consumer abuse. They informed me that there were NO pictures accompanying the report and Electrolux was standing by their decision NOT to cover the repair of the door. How very convenient that the pictures that were taken which would make my case and refute their claim had just vanished into thin air!?!? I have filed a complaint with the BBB but Electrolux is sticking by their decision NOT to perform on its contractual obligations and they are doing it through deceit. I have also filed a complaint with the California Department of Consumer Affairs and the results of that one are pending. BUYER BEWARE when dealing with Electrolux Extended Service Warranties! Like me, you might pay perfectly good money for a perfectly worthless piece of paper.

In 2011, my wife and I installed Electrolux appliances in our new home: Range model EW301S65JSA; Dishwasher model EIDW6105GS1A; Microwave model E124M0451BA; and Refrigerator model EI28BS56ISD. To say that we have been disappointed would be an understatement. Over the past 3 years we have resided in the house for approximately 20 months. During that time, every one of the appliances has failed. The refrigerator stopped making ice. An Electrolux-certified repairman replaced the control board twice, replaced a faulty solenoid once, and finally replaced the entire refrigerator with a new unit. The microwave display failed after approximately 9 months, so that we are unable to read a portion. Three days ago, the dishwasher stopped in the middle of a cycle: all lights on the pad on the top of the door remained unlit; no lights appeared on the panel behind the kick plate at the base of the unit; turning off power for 30 minutes and then turning back on produced no change. The range has occasionally beeped and flashed an F11 warning, which we have resolved by turning off power for several minutes then turning back on. Today, the F11 error and beeping appeared, and after shutting off power for 30 minutes the error continues. To summarize, every Electrolux unit we purchased has let us down. Currently, two are not functioning. We will have to pay the exorbitant cost of repair. Sadly, it seems we will have to replace the units sooner than expected, and with appliances that have a better track record than Electrolux.

I purchased an Electrolux dishwasher from Lowes (never again). I paid 1200.00 dollars for the unit. After the first use, there was water left in the dishwasher that wouldnt drain. I called for service repair and a week later they came out to fix it and the same problem still occurred. I had to use my shop vac to remove the water. I called for the second service call and the tech advised me that I needed a new garbage disposal because food was backing up, causing the pump to burn out. I purchased a brand new disposal and had it installed. It still doesnt drain. I have been getting the run around from Electrolux and Lowes and neither company is providing me with good customer service. I requested a store credit so I could get an replacement and I was told I needed 3 service calls before it could be approved. I will never purchase another Electrolux appliance and I will never shop at Lowes again. If this matter isnt handled I will be contacting an attorney.

I bought the washer in January. Then one day in June, the washer stopped spinning. After researching online that evening, I checked the code which said defective door lock sensor. The repair man came three days later and confirmed that it was a defective door sensor. Problem is he didnt have the part. Twenty days later, the part arrives and the repair man replaces it and proclaims the belt also was off, that some factory lock nut had come off. He said in his twenty years doing this hed never seen such a thing. He put Lock Tight on the nut and tightened it. It lasted less than one load the next day. The repair man returned and said he had to replace the drum, motor mount, pulley, pulley mount, drive shaft, bearings, belt and that it would require another visit (full day) because he had to order the parts. I asked how long and he couldnt guess. Now Ive been without a washer for close to 30 days and it will be longer. It costs me $5 per load at the Laundromat - thats approx. $150 since it broke. Ive had to stay home from work waiting on the repair man a total of three times and now will be a fourth. I dont go to work. I dont get paid. I called Electrolux Customer Service (thats a joke) today and asked why they just dont replace it. Their new product warranty is a repair warranty only - way to stand behind your product. My modest calculations are this washer cost me a total of $1,700 so far; I bought it for $650. If I were a consumer in need of an appliance, I would not buy Electrolux. If I had done my homework, I wouldnt have bought this product for $250. At least my life is consistent. I owned a Fiat when I was younger and it was a piece of junk and now I have another Italian piece of junk.

We bought our French Door Bottom Freezer Refrigerator in October 2009 as a result of upgrading and remodeling our kitchen. The installation did not occur until April/May 2010 and we had problems with a leaky ice maker, intermittent making of ice, noisy clicking doors, and notification of expired air filters after 3 months of use. We called one week after the 1 year of purchase anniversary date and they told us our warranty had expired. We called customer service in 2012 and 2014 to express our dissatisfaction with all the problems that continued. They had a log of all our calls and still did nothing to make the refrigerator function correctly. After spending $3,600.00 for a high end refrigerator and have a lemon at that, Electrolux took no ownership for their problems. In January of 2015, the ice maker stop functioning all together. The service tech advised us this past week, there have been over 9 updates of the model we bought and there have been numerous faulty issues from Electrolux. It seems that this is a common problem and there are many consumers with the same complaint with this appliance. Why cant we all pursue a Class Action Suit? There are some of us that remained quiet and didnt scream loud enough and now we have the consequence of a lousy functioning refrigerator. By the way, the display on the temperature started to disappear in 2014. The technician states I need to spend $1,000.00 to purchase 2 kits to bring my refrigerator up to par (and since DAY 1 it has never worked correctly). Also, there is no guarantee after 90 days something else will break. This was the worst purchase of an appliance we ever made. Today the customer service corporate manager failed to help us make this situation go away and failed to assist the consumer to feel right about a costly purchase that never worked. There needs to be a better way to alert the public about Electrolux quality. There are too many of us as unsatisfied consumers with the same flawed design refrigerator complaining about Electrolux not taking action on their substandard appliances and for NOT doing the right thing.

Five years ago I remodeled my kitchen. I was talked into the top of the line Electrolux icon line and paid the price for it! Now I am again paying the price for it. Where shall I start? Hmm lets go with the overpriced refrigerator that has now almost completely fallen apart. Every shelf made with plastic fittings has now broke. Shelves are now barely holding one, drawers dont roll and stick and again, plastic parts broken and cannot be repaired. Overpriced built-in convection/microwave. Now not working as I dont want to put an additional $500.00 to repair the thing. Id rather put the money towards something worth having. Oh, and this is the second time its been repaired. Built-in convection oven electrical panel has been replaced once. Im not holding my breath. Now this morning, two of the electrical units on my flat top built-in stove have an error indicator on them. Who knows what is wrong now! All I can say is seriously, 4/4 items being in disrepair in less than five years. Well, you do the math. Do not buy any Electrolux product.

We bought Electrolux Icon Appliances for our kitchen 6 years ago. This was a costly mistake. I wish we never would have purchased the items. Should have bought GE Profile instead. Within the first year, we had the dishwasher and oven fixed. Now 6 years later, and my fridge ice maker doesnt work. The oven does not heat evenly and the stove burners expel too much gas, causing a huge flame when started. I am so frustrated. We were told that this was the top of the line appliances. Up there with Wolf appliances. NOT!

I purchased an Electrolux refrigerator 6 years ago and have already had the ice maker serviced four times. The most recent estimate was $400 to replace a water valve and an ice maker repair kit. The ice maker is clearly poorly designed and extremely expensive to repair. I would not recommend this appliance and will not purchase Electrolux again.

Spoke with four reps and the best they could do was tell me get an extended warranty. I had one last year and it took 2 weeks for them to fix it, a 10 minute job. Is there a zero star rating? I am extremely dissatisfied in my Electrolux refrigerator. It is just over two years old and have had to have the main computer board replaced (twice) and the evaporator fan to the tune of $1,000! This should be under warranty for a minimum of 3-5 years for these major parts. Model Number is E23BC68JPS5. It is ridiculous to spend an additional $1K on this appliance given I already spent over 3K to purchase it not long ago.

Had a Dishwasher and Microwave go out on me over the holidays. I seem to be burning out dishwashers at an alarming rate, the computer goes bad or motor goes out, leaks, not having good luck. So getting away from Kitchen Aid and Whirlpool and seeing the problems the new Samsung was having (people pushing chairs up against the door to keep it closed) I decided to go with this dishwasher as it was rated number one on some testing something on another site. They glorified the thing as god's gift to the dishwasher community, so okay. Ordered from Lowes, took it home and installed it. The inside is a little smaller than my last Kitchen Aid so that takes some getting used to as I like to stick car size things inside, huge pots for making spaghetti for 20 people like five gallon stuff, doesn't fit. Regular home, will not have a problem with this dishwasher, I over do it. It cleans better than any of the dishwashers I have had in the past. zed Glasses come out cleaner or more clear, well everything you can see it, I am surprised. Drying kinda sucks. I had turned off my water softener to fill fish tanks and if you use hard water, it does not dry the dishes very well. Turned on the softener, use Jet Dry and it does okay sometimes I got to shake a few things to get them dry when I take it out. The controls is something else I don't like. Press the start button and nothing indicates you made it happen. However if you put your ear to it, it makes a little beep beep sound, very faint. Then you close it and does a little faint song as to say its going and you know its going. For the amount of money I paid for this dishwasher and how well it cleans, I am willing to overlook the small things and I don't mind drying one or two things by hand, but others might see it differently. I like it and its doing good, so 5 stars. One more thing, I do BBQ and no other dishwasher can get some of the meat pans clean. I usually wash them in the dishwasher just to make it easier to do it by hand. This dishwasher actually cleans the pans first time out. Makes me wonder how long my dishes are going to last getting blasted clean like that, but I like the less work that is involved.

We recently purchased an Electrolux Oven. The unit came highly recommend on several sites online. The unit arrived with damage, including a defective control panel. Electrolux was initially very friendly and professed a desire to do whatever was needed to fix the unit. In the end, they admitted that they had no parts for the oven and would have to manufacture some. It would take at least a month. They then discussed replacing the oven, but decided it needed to be repaired at least once. Of course there were no parts to repair it. In the end, they did nothing. So we bought another oven. Customer service gets an F.

When called customer service today, they told me that if I looked at the manual I would be aware that its not covered after a year. This convection / microwave was delivered 1 month ago. It is replacing a Samsung Over-The-Range convection / microwave. The Samsung was ridiculously noisy, had a weak vent fan, poor lighting, and very dim display but overall it did work pretty good. After 4 years of service it got donated to Habitat For Humanity (thanks for the tax write off). NOW I have the Electrolux convection / microwave. It was difficult to install. The holes and brackets from my previous microwave aren't in the same location. I understand that these are different brands but I've hung different microwave brands in the same location before and the mounts where pretty universal - not this time. The LED display on this device is just as dim as the one on my previous device. I guess NOBODY can create a display that's easily visible from more than 7 feet away. Now here's where the Electrolux sets itself apart,,, it looks great, the lights are bright, and the vent fan actually works really well. The interior is all stainless steel with this cool diamond pattern. It looks really nice. When using the convection oven,,, the temperatures are accurate and it bakes to perfection. It is noisy too but nowhere near as screechy and obnoxious as the Samsung. It's just the nature of convection / microwaves to be a little loud. If anyone finds a quite one please let me know. As for the buttons,,, there ARE NO buttons. It's a flat touch panel just like your smart phone. Pushing hard on a number doesn't make it work. You have to gently apply a full fingerprint over the button to get it to work and you cannot be in a hurry. It takes a little getting used to but it's really not that big a deal. This is an expensive device but it was worth it.

My husband and l completely remodeled our kitchen 5 years ago and wanted top of the line appliances. I thought by buying Electrolux appliances, l was making a good choice but soon realized l got rid of better appliances than what we had bought. I had always had Whirlpool appliances before and never had repairs. I have had problems with all four appliances and most recently am facing major repairs to the frig and microwave. I already had repairs to the dishwasher when two pumps had to be replaced and the range required a new circuit board. My extended warranty ended in March of this year so the expense will be on us not to mention the aggravation of getting top of the line appliances repaired AGAIN. I plan on contacting the company but according to the other complaints, l doubt if Electrolux will be of any help.

My husband says its a design flaw and even tho we empty the lint screen after every single use, it is escaping and going into the motor. Today they said they cant cover sending someone out again. Im from Malaysia and am a user of Electrolux Washing Machine and dryer. Im very happy with both the machines until I encounter problem with my Dryer. It was making a loud sound and I quickly called Electrolux dealer AB First Trading in Shah Alam. The technician came and inspected my dryer. It took him merely 2 minutes of inspection and he told me that the motor is faulty and needed to change the entire motor system. On top of that, he told some belts are balding and needed to change as well. It will cost around RM800-RM1000 to have it changed. I was shocked. I didnt trust him so I asked another technician (not Electrolux dealer) to inspect my dryer. He opened the machine, and showed me a pile of dusts. After removing the pile of dusts, the loud sound disappeared! I was utterly shocked that the problem was only removal of dusts; not drum faulty, not motor, not belt! I felt cheated by AB First Trading but also relieved that I did not engage their service. However, Their sales staff kept harassing me and easily called me 20 times a day (at least) to ask for their labour charges. I was so mad as they cheated on me first and I refused to pay the labour charges. After all, the AB First Trading technician did not even open up the machine. he was just here listening to the sound. I wish Electrolux headquarter can do something about this as the experience are tormenting and the harassment is getting worse. My shop is a place doing business and I really hope the harassment can stop.

Model EIFLW50LIW front load washer. Purchased June 2014. Had required (certified Electrolux) repairman (due to warranty) out several times within the first 12 months. The harness kept shaking loose and tumbler would go off balance and belt popped off. I had to wait a week or two for them to come out and then had to take off from work each time while they fixed it. The last time, they literally had all the parts on my kitchen floor and I asked them why Electrolux just did not send a new machine from the factory. Wasted 5 hours of my day, two repairmen 5 hours and I had to wait for them to come 10 days which meant going over to my mother-in-laws to do laundry. Now 12 months later the belt popped off again but I noticed that the washer was leaking. It revealed severe rubbing on the plastic which was worn through. This unit never made any rubbing noise, clanking and was not out of balance like the issue previously. I called Electrolux and told them that their certified repairmen obviously did something wrong and now it leaks and the harness shakes loose. All they could do for me is give me a break on parts. If your front load washer has belt or harness issues, demand a new one. Repairmen can make Band-Aid fixes only to a poorly manufactured item.

Purchased an Electrolux dishwasher in June of 2014. Have never really been happy with the response of the digital controls, but since we paid almost $1000 figured I would have to grin and bear it. Had to have a service last year because of error code .30. Tech explained that this very seldom happens, but he fixed it and went on his way. Everything was okay until about three weeks ago when the same code came up and you could hear something like water running in the machine. Called repair and they evaluated and advised that repair would be almost $500. At this point I have almost paid 2/3 of the cost of the machine again! Contacted Electrolux and gave them all the info; the repair service furnished to them what would be necessary to repair and the cost of repair.Electrolux is investigating and will get back to me. In the meantime, I have 17 people coming for Thanksgiving with no dishwasher. The service tech indicated this is just representative of any appliance you purchase now. Where did pride in a quality product go? If for no other reason, we need to get manufacturing back in our country in hopes of a different quality outcome. Bottom line: Can you intervene with the manufacturer, which in this case is Electrolux, to help consumers like me?

Nothing ever came out sparkling clean from the first day I used it. The water never was hot enough because the dishwasher didnt have a heating coil to heat the water to a temperature that would give excellent results. I dropped the extended warranty and prayed and hoped it would break down and sure enough 6 years later it did just that. It was the happiest day of my dishwashing life. I bought the top of the line appliances by Electrolux for my kitchen. The really pretty one Kelly Rippa advertises. The designers did an excellent job. Love the design and functionality of the dishwasher, fridge and stove. Sadly, the designers were wonderful, but the engineers were terrible. Dishwasher - leaves chalky residue on everything and gets error codes 11 and 1 all the time and has had several repairs that took FOREVER. Stove - needed a new board after only a few weeks. Fridge - has error code EF for evaporator fan. Ice Maker - lets just say that if they had tried to make a more terrible ice maker that it would not be possible. It cannot keep up with a family of 4 without running out. You put it on cube and it crushes the ice. I hate it. These appliances are only 6 years old and I paid a fortune for them. Model # E130BM6CPSA. Purchased this Electrolux OTR Microwave with the convection and grill in the hopes that I could get rid of my Breville convection toaster oven from our kitchen counter. Unfortunately no luck in doing that. Purchased Aug.31, 2017 and because the kitchen cupboards had to be modified to accommodate the microwave it sat in the box until Jan. 5, 2018 when it got installed by professional cabinet installers who have done this many times. The microwave works well, however when I went to use the convection cooking function I ended up using it 2X as long as the toaster oven and then had to put it in the toaster oven to actually get past just being warm. Next day I tried to use the grill function to cook 6 small breakfast sausages and they also took 2X as long so I put them in the fry pan to finish.I call Electrolux customer service and they gave me 3 service companies to contact. We had one of them come and check out the unit and it never got to the temperature he entered on the unit and call Electrolux and the customer service rep he reached said the convection function takes about 40 min to reached the desired temp. (So I can only guess the preheat function is not working, but 40 minutes really.) The service tech then tried again to preheat the convection function and redid it for a 1/2 hour with no luck and call Electrolux a 2nd time that day. The customer service rep said that my expectation for this microwave were too high. Also the customer service rep pointed out to me that the manufacture date on the unit is 2015 and I purchased it in August 2017 so he suggested that I contact Electrolux again and tell them that I am not satisfied with the microwave which I did.The customer service rep did confirm to me that there was a note on file of my issue and said she would contact someone about my dissatisfaction with the microwave and get back to me the next day. No one called me back and I patiently waited and then finally called them back 2 weeks later and was basically told there is nothing wrong with the microwave and there is nothing they can do. I will never purchase another Electrolux convection/grill microwave and will purchase a Panasonic next time.

We purchased the newest gas dryer from them. It arrived damaged. We began this hell of trying to get a working unit in June 7. Everything is in business days ranging from a fictional 3-5 to 7-10. There are no customer service managers or supervisors who will call you back, to get a reply from them is 1-2 business days and the excuse is so and such was going to call you tomorrow. On June 18 we were told a unit would be delivered and installed for us. We were told they were en route to the warehouse and we would have one as soon as they got to the warehouse. It’s July 10, still nothing, never a call from anyone and on July 9th we were told they had a unit but refused to ship it to us for fear of damage to the unit. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. The original unit came in a undamaged box, it was next to the washer and the washer was in mint condition. The Dryer on the other hand was boxed and shipped damaged. Its box had no signs of stress, no holes or openings and showed no signs of rebounding. The packaging material inside the box was also in perfect condition. Nothing was compressed or broken as if to show signs of absorbing a fall. The machine is gouged and the top of the machine is not attached to the body of the unit. Someone at Electrolux allowed the unit to ship out broken. We have been trying to get resolve for over a month and no one seems to care at Electrolux. There is zero sense of urgency and zero words or apology or empathy. I purchased a top of the line French Door refrigerator 7 years ago and have had a number of issues. Bad seals, broken parts, ice maker freezing up and now I am told the fridge will fail soon due to the internal thermal parts. Apparently I have a model that had a KNOWN PROBLEM on these models and similar Frigidaire models from 2011 to 2017!!!! Yes ELECTROLUX KNEW, BUT DID THEY DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT, seems to be a NO. They supposedly did some sort of recall but NOTHING I EVER RECEIVED. It is NOT COVERED ON YOUR HOME INSURANCE WARRANTY, in fact they tell you to CALL ELECTROLUX. So I did and I was on HOLD for 65 minutes, no mention of any sort of call back which many companies now do. I Guess ELECTROLUX WANTS TO MAXIMISE PROFITS!!!!The lady I spoke to KNEW about this issue (Just as the TECHNICIAN that came out KNEW about this issue). She ended up giving me the number for the CORPORATE OFFICE to speak to a SHELBY so I called. Guess what? Its just a number for Electrolux, no Shelby. This is a $2400 refrigerator, it is a piece of junk and Electrolux seems to be worthless. I have one of their freezers too and guess what? It has had PROBLEMS, so ELECTROLUX YOU APPEAR TO SELL CHEAP PRODUCTS AND DONT STAND BY YOUR PRODUCTS.

Electrolux Dual Fuel defective Oven F15 motherboard - To begin, the word motherboard defines the perfect depiction of the defective range (item/product) the Electrolux company manufactures. I recently purchased a home that included a 30 slip in Electrolux dual fuel range that the previous owners had originally paid over $2,900.00. Having seen the wonderful Kelly Ripa television commercials, I figured the product must be good if she endorses their products. Within 2 months of having lived here and using the stove, the F15 code has flash on the motherboard of the range which then also shuts down the use of the control board. Doing some investigation, I learned that the previous homeowner had already replaced the motherboard 2 times previously since owning the range. Now into the two months of new home ownership, I am glad that I had taken out a homeowners warranty to cover repairs in the new house. I just got back from Best Buy and hhgreggs to price out a replacement range and was shocked to see Electrolux continues to produce the same style range (which at hhgreggs price was over $3,000.00). Thank God I had my homeowners warranty to replace the motherboard until I find a new replacement range and dump this inferior product. Kelly Ripa... You sold customers down the river with a BAD product that is not backed by the company making it.

I have a 6 month old $800+ upright Frigidaire freezer made by Electrolux, after less than 3 months it quit working, lost hundreds of dollars worth of food. Its now been in non working condition 3 months even after 5 service calls. This freezer has been sitting in my home in NON-WORKING condition for 3 months now. Electrolux agreed to replace it in August... The first date they scheduled this delivery on Sept. 8th, they never showed up or called. They again rescheduled for today, September 21st and now Im being told they cant deliver it today. Ive lost countless hours with customer service, hundreds of dollars worth of food, two days loss of work waiting for delivery of the replacement that didnt show up. Its the worse experience I have ever had with an appliance in my life. The customer service is even worse than the garbage products they sell! Run!

6 Appliances, 12 problems, expensive solutions: We built this new home about 5 years ago. Its just the two of us and our dog. In the past 5 years we use the home about 7 months of the year. Every single appliance has had problems, too many to outline. Some of the problems Electrolux has no fix for other than expensive parts to fix parts that they knew did not work. More problems are on the way, as our microwave has stopped rotating and our freezer is making a funny noise as well as the fan in the convection oven is making sounds that it did not make before. These are all top of the line appliances that should last more than a couple of years of use. However Electrolux does not agree or care. I am going to start a class action lawsuit in Canada against them, my email is **. Write me if you would like to join in.

We bought our Zen vacuum cleaner in fall 2016, the main selling point being that it was claimed to be the most silent vacuum cleaner in the world. Well, it was silent for the first weeks. Then, there was this loud squeaky noise when vacuuming carpets. Turned out there was an air leak around the fitting of the tube in the handle due to cheap plastic that wears out in no time. Also turned out that the two year warranty did not cover the tube, which was only covered by 6 months. Within these 6 months we had the tube replaced three times, but to what use? The construction itself is wrong in combination with poor material, and it will wear out again no matter how many times you replace the part. This flaw also applies to the built-in nozzle holders that are too weak to hold the nozzle/tube in place. It keeps falling out making noise and waking up the children. Zen is anything but the most silent vacuum cleaner. One more thing while I am at it, the buttons! They are designed for the sake of design, but are absolute useless. Lets just say that the power button of Zen combines the versatility of traditional buttons, and the tactility of a touch screen. Press it and behold, nothing happens! In short, vacuum cleaners from Electrolux may look (and sound) good at a first glance, but the quality is a disgrace for Swedish engineering.

I can only run the appliance on delicate unless I want my clothing to have char marks and holes. We bought an Electrolux gas stove less than 3 years ago. In less than two years, the enamel on the inside of the oven was flaking off where the racks go. These racks are on gliders so if you are cleaning the oven, its pretty much the only time the whole rack gets moved in and out. In other words, the rack stays in place but the shelf itself can glide in and out to remove food. I noticed 3 spots chipped off about 8 months ago after I cleaned the oven and was putting the racks back in. I wrote to Electrolux and sent pictures to them. They sent me back an email saying they had a technician look at the pictures and he determined this was normal wear and tear. So I sent them a reply stating that my last two stoves were over 20 years old, the racks were in and out of those stoves many times and all the enamel was still in place when I got rid of the stoves. This was a manufacturer defect and I would like this fixed. The liaison from the CEO then called me and told me the same thing that their reply email stated and again I told her about my last two stoves never having this problem. She then offered me 60% rebate to buy another Electrolux stove because they cant replace the inside of the stove. I told her, No, I want all my money back so I can go and buy a stove that will last. I had read online many people were dissatisfied with their stoves for the very same reason I was complaining. Also the front right burner doesnt light right away, another complaint from others. When it finally decides to light you get a loud fffumm and a huge flame shoots out of the burner. Now, the other day I cleaned my stove and the next morning I opened the oven to wipe the ash out and in the bottom of the oven the ash was rust colored. I thought that was weird but figured it was the grease that had spilled over before I cleaned it, but once I started wiping it out, I noticed the bottom of the oven is actually rusted and pitted all over. This is not normal. As I see it, the enamel is breaking off when the oven is cleaned. The front of the stove where the knobs for the burners, where it tells which burner is for each knob is all worn off. This is a very expensive appliance with shoddy workmanship! Now Electrolux is telling me they will give me 50% back to buy another one of their stoves. I would never spend that kind of money, and this was the most expensive stove in any of the places we looked. I thought I was paying for a good brand, a long time name in the appliance business and would stand by their product. I will never purchase another Electrolux product again.

I had a GE refrigerator for 21 years. For my 50th birthday, I asked for an Electrolux refrigerator (no comments on this please). What a mistake. It is less than 5 years old and I have spent almost $2,000 on repairs. Yep, learned my lesson on extended warranties. The water line has not worked for almost 6 months. The recommended repair company told me to open the freezer door. Wow, thats impressive. The clip on one of my sliding drawers cracked last week. I was on hold for 20 minutes. Gave up and ordered what I thought was the right part online for $15 dollars. This little plastic part is about 1 in diameter. Guess what? Didnt fit. I spent one hour on the phone today trying to order the correct part after I finally reached a supervisor. Seems you cant order the clip alone. It comes with the slider but no directions on how to install. So how much would a repairman cost? What a joke. Never, ever again. The worst customer service ever.

In late 2008 we purchased an Electrolux refrigerator, glass cooktop, double oven, microwave & dishwasher. We bought all the appliances in late October 2008 but did not receive them until late November. We had been promised them within a week & were concerned we would not get everything in time for Thanksgiving as we were having family stay with us for the holiday. In any case, the refrigerator was delivered & set up while we were still living at our old house. It arrived with a dent in it. A very noticeable dent. We were told it might be several weeks to get the replacement. Everything was top of the line so not in stock in the store. Under the circumstances, we elected to keep it. However, when they installed the water line for the ice maker, they did not remove the plug so the water poured out all over our wood floors until we came to the new house the following day & were met with the mess & flood. Within just a few months, the dishwasher had to be serviced. Again, not a good sign but sometimes things happen. Shortly thereafter, the blue digital display on the double ovens had some lights stop working & the display was messed up. I called, I was told a part would be sent & when we received it, to call back & a repairman would be dispatched. The part did not arrive when expected, another bad thing, I called after a few days, giving ample time & was told the part had not been sent but now would be for sure. About a month later I received a part. I called for service. No one showed up. A couple of weeks later, I called again. I was told AGAIN that the repairman would come. A couple of days later, I received a SECOND part. No repairman. EVER. Anyway, the digital blue displays on the glass stovetop soon followed suit & stopped working as well. Now I have to guess what temperature I am really cooking things at. The only appliance with the Electrolux name on it that has not had an issue so far is the microwave. I hate to even say it, as I probably just jinxed it. The refrigerator is now not working at all. It kept turning off & on, off & on. Then it popped up a CE error on the beautiful blue display that I was once so fond of. We have ordered a part & my husband is saying he will install it himself, again. The top oven of the double oven stopped keeping the correct temperature about a year ago. For example, I can set it for 350 degrees but in actuality, it may not even be 125 degrees. I feel so disgusted that I spent all my retirement money to have the kitchen of my dreams & instead got the kitchen of my nightmares. Compounding my deep disappointment is the fact that I know I can never afford to buy all new appliances again AND that since we bought all of these items at the same time, they will probably all start falling apart at the same time. I bought the hype, I believed I was buying quality & I regret it & will regret it forever. In my blind faith, I bought the kitchen I wanted because I knew I would never ever have such an opportunity again to furnish my kitchen with top of the line state of the art appliances. Refrigerators, microwaves, stovetops, double ovens & dishwashers should all last longer than 5 years. That is just my humble opinion but it is also my humble opinion that I will NEVER purchase another Electrolux anything. I spent a small fortune on Electrolux products to have ALL of them, except the microwave, have issues right off the bat & have a top quality refrigerator fail within 5 years. Kelly Ripa should be ashamed of herself for making money off this terrible product.

In April of 2015 we purchased a new home from a builder. The builder had Electrolux appliances installed so we went with what they had not knowing what a nightmare that would be! The first visit from a repair company happened within 60 days of being in our home. They ended up removing the refrigerator and giving us a new one because the fridge had a bent frame! The second refrigerator is still in our home and I have had to call and have 2 more service calls. Now, we are dealing with an ice maker that isnt working properly so we have ice building up on the back wall of our refrigerator which pushes the drawers out of their slides. We are now waiting for parts that are on backorder so our repair can be done. No worries, I can keep chipping ice off of the back of my brand new fridge! When you call Electrolux for a repair you end up speaking to people who never give you the same information about how or when the service appointment will happen. Their customer service is a mess and the real joke is that they ask you when you are finished setting up another appointment if you would like to take a survey to tell them how they are doing! Ha! Electrolux products, service and service providers stink and as a company they should be ashamed of themselves for making such crap products and charging so much for them! Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for appliances. I mean really, how many days do you want to sit home from 8am-1pm or 1pm to 5pm waiting for repair work to be done? Lifes too short for that!

A $3,500 refrigerator with this many problems & we have to pay? We are more than angry about this. My cousin bought the same refrigerator & her mother board went out! The part had to be ordered. It cost her over $600! I will throw this out the door before I will pay that much for repairs. I bought this in June of 2009 so 5 years!! Do not by this brand!! Nothing is made to last anymore. Beware of Electrolux/Frigidaire french door freezer/frig. I have had nothing but problems with my unit. From the day it was delivered it has had door sealing issues which lead to me loosing all my food in the freezer twice. The back of the unit has a water leak through the ice maker lines which has frozen up and rusted the ENTIRE back panel of frig/freezer. The temperature control panel goes haywire and change the temperature which leads to food going bad. I contacted Electrolux customer service as well as their corporate office in Sweden. They basically told me they would do nothing to assist in rectifying all my issues. I even had the repair company that was sent out through my extended warranty company (Lowes) tell me the unit needed to be replaced but Electrolux still did nothing. I will never buy another Electrolux/Frigidaire product again!!

Stay away from buying this brand. I purchased a Microwave/oven wall combination that I custom made my kitchen cabinets around. Literally after 2 uses, the interior blue coating started flaking off. After about 10 uses the whole bottom of the oven is completed raw. This makes cleaning the oven impossible as its now a very rough texture. After many calls and emails and complaints about the blue enamel flaking off and flying around the oven when operating, they stated there is nothing we can do because its a cosmetic issue. Electrolux told me to contact a appliance repairman which I did. After inspection he told me, There is absolutely nothing I can do with this. It cannot be recoated. Perfect!!!! Now what! I have a brand new oven that is ruined after 2 uses and there is nothing I can do. Buy any other brand but this one. Its a joke, and the only thing I can pray for is not getting cancer from the enamel landing on the food that is cooking in the oven. Dont buy ELECTROLUX, there should be a warning label on this brand.

We have already spent at least 20 hours following every Electrolux procedure to the letter, regardless of how inane the reasoning only to finally be denied a solution. It is the same story about the defective ice makers they designed and installed in thousands of refrigerators a few years back. Bottom line - We would pay for parts but since the ice maker cant be fixed there is nothing we can do for you. Yes we bought $6000 worth of Electrolux products when remodeled our kitchen and they made a defective product but its on us. Thank you very much. They said they dont care about negative Internet reviews because only unhappy people post - not happy ones. Brilliant! So, we vote with our wallet and words. Never buy an Electrolux or any brand by that company and tell as many people as possible. So, when they hire a consultant to find out why the stock is down maybe they will discover these communications and determine that it does matter to try to protect rational consumer relationships.

We did purchase the extended warranty, but now the warranty is expired and the service company will not even answer our phone calls or come anymore. We had our house built 6 years ago and I just had to have the Electrolux appliance. The only thing that in my opinion that has worked well is the dish machine. The oven, cooktop, and microwave not so much. For the price I was expecting as other consumers have stated a much better product. I did not get the warranties because them in themselves were expensive as well.Lets start with the microwave because it had the least problems and lasted the longest. Two years ago the door panel came partly loose. Only I had it fixed was because I had gotten the home warranty for all household appliances and it was covered under that warranty. Along with the other two appliances that I am going to talk about. Last year the spring broke so the door would not close. My husband tried to fix it and in the midst of doing that he broke the top piece. A friend came over and saw that the door was taped shut. He asked what was wrong with it; I told him and he fixed for me. The top piece could not be fixed because it was plastic. Thank goodness he didnt charge me. He said it was a minor fix. The top piece I just laid it back on top. You couldnt tell it was detached. Now this year the microwave stop working all together. I put something in it to warm up and it did not come on DEAD. I never cooked in it anyway but dead after 5 1/2 years.Next we are going to talk about the cooktop. I picked out the 36 in induction cooktop. It was working good. I was excited I had gotten it then after 6 months the burners seem to no be cooking as well. I had to cook the food on high if I was using more than one burner because it was not cooking well and taking forever to cook. Thank goodness not was burning. I thought something was wrong but I could not figure out what it was. Then one day when I was cooking for the holidays, midway through cooking the hold cooktop shut off. At that point I had to wait for the fans to cool the cooktop off. Once that happen I had to cook everything one at a time till I was finish cooking. Needless to say I was upset. That Monday I called the Electrolux and they called a service tech out because it was still just under their warranty . When he finally came out he told me that it was a good thing it had shut itself off because it could have set the house on fire. Like that is something a home owner wants to hear. He told me he had to order the part. It took three weeks for that part to come in. No problems after that until the fourth year and it did it again. By this time I had gotten the home warranty I spoke of earlier and thank goodness for that because we had problem after problem. This time one side of the cooktop could not work. The service people sent someone to fix it. Then two months later the other side when out. They sent the same person out again. Then the other side that had been fixed went out again so he had to come back. This was every two months for 8 months. Then finally he realized something was burning out the circuit boards and fix it. No more problems but on the induction side you cannot burn the 2 burners on the same temperature or you will get an error. Thats a small price to pay for not being able to use your appliance that you paid hard earn money for 8 months. Finally we get to the double oven. The first problem I had was the Led lights went out. That was still under factory warranty. This happen two months after we moved in. The next problem again like the cooktop, the oven sensor went out, this was 6 months after we moved in. They came and fixed that. I had no problems until again like the cooktop in the 4th year. I was cooking on normal bake and the oven seem like it wasnt getting hot. Then I started using the convection bake then it seem like it was doing the same thing. One day I was standing there looking at the stove wondering what to do, my daughter said Momma I told you the bottom oven works better than the top. At that point I turned both ovens on and the bottom oven heated up faster than the top. So for a while we used the bottom oven for cooking until it was doing the same thing as the top. The problem with the oven was happening at the same time with the cooktop but it had to be 2 different work orders. The oven took longer to get fixed than the cooktop because we had to wait longer until the part to come in. So I didnt have a oven for 11 months. Because you could not use 1 oven without the other because they were on the same circuit board. Since then we can use both ovens but the bottom oven is still hotter than the top and it still heats up quicker.

To all my family, friends and shipmates: Please forward this on to as many people as possible in order to get the widest amount of coverage as possible! My wife and I purchased a new Electrolux Refrigerator (Model Number EW23BC70IS) on 25 May 2009 at a cost of $3699.00 for our new home. In less than a year were so many problems with the refrigerator; ice maker not working and freezer drawer cracked (which were covered under warranty), that Electrolux finally replaced it with another one (Model Number EW23BC71IS) on 29 April 2011.On 9 August 2013 there was a service call to replace electronic board and ice maker. On 5 September 2016 another service call to install Rear Insulation Kit. Finally, on 16 May 2018, a service call to install Air Handler. Then less than month later, on 13 June 2018, a service call to Beach Appliance Service, LLC., regarding frozen water line, no ice or water, and large mold patch on wall next to the back of refrigerator in addition to water dripping from back of refrigerator. The bottom line is that even though Electrolux was contacted both by Beach Appliance Service, who provided a total of 18 pictures (including mold), and myself (at least 5 phone calls) regarding this issue, Electrolux’s bottom line was that the refrigerator was out of warranty and that they would be happy to give me 10% off a new refrigerator. Please tell everyone you know what a lousy product Electrolux makes and that no one should buy anything from them or go through what we did. Since I didnt any resolution from Electrolux, I am now taking them to small claims court.

It still leaks down the front and the door does not open properly. To get these fixed is several $$. We were just told that our dryer now needs a new motor costing around $350. I recommend to anyone else that they dont purchase electrolux products. It is a foreign brand and parts are a lot more money. A fact that I overlooked when buying. We are considering cutting our losses and purchasing a whole new set instead of continuing to pour more money into these units. What a huge disappointment. Horrible, horrible. I bought a french door refrigerator 4 years ago and it hasnt worked right from the start. Horrible customer service, horrible warranty. My ice machine has not work from the beginning and not only hasnt worked but has damaged my new tile floor from it leaking out of the back. I have had the maintenance man out 15 times in the 4 years and he said there is nothing else left to change out. So after paying all that money for an ice maker that gives crushed and cubes I now have my ice maker shut off. Dont buy an electrolux!!!

We bought a Frigidaire refrigerator back in June, 2018. In August 1st, the refrigerator started to act up and stop making any ice or throwing any water. Since it is still under the first year warranty covered by the company, I called Electrolux to have this issue fixed. They have sent five repairs technician from two different service companies to fix this issue and have not fix this yet. Every time a new technician comes to diagnose it, they have to order a part. They have replaced so many parts and still not fixed yet. After three months waiting for technicians and parts to come, I request Electrolux to replace the unit and they rejected the request. They told me that they cant replace it until a technician tells them its non-fixable (the technician will never tell them its non-fixable because hes making money every time he comes to diagnose/repair it). In the meantime, we cant use our product after we paid so much. Electrolux does not stand up for their products, they will have you on and on until you give up and suck it up or until the warranty expires so the problem can be on you.

I purchased by Electrolux dryer in 2/09. My major complaint was on occasion it would burn certain clothing. The grate on the back of the dryer became black. I tried to clean it to no avail. I dealt with it since it was past my extended warranty and wasnt happening all the time. Recently my dryer stopped working and I said error code E66 on the panel. I called the service number it gave me and they referred me to a service tech in the area. He came the next day stated he could fix the fuse that burned out causing the error code but the real problem is the fact that the dryer gets too hot (I have noticed that) and that is what is burning the clothing. A total of $800 to fix this problem!! A quick google search shows that this is an issue with these dryers, and from the conversation with the service agent it seems they are aware of this. They offered me a 10% discount on the parts! How generous! I choose Electrolux because of their name but that isnt worth anything anymore. Never again!

I bought a ** Refrigerator and Washing Machine 5 years ago when I built my house. Both are broken. The fridge leaked water all over the floor causing the base cabinets in the kitchen to suck up the moisture and ruin them. The Washing Machine needs a new circuit board. How does a circuit board fail after 5 years? Incredible. Stay away from Electrolux.

We bought a side by side refrigerator in the summer of 2012. Upon delivery and install the ice maker was spewing out ice - crushed and regular ice all over my kitchen floor. We had to call a service person in to fix the problem. We had to call back a week or so later to have the machine fixed again for the same problem. At this time we realized we may have bought a lemon and added an extended warranty. I called for a part that had broken inside of the door at which time Electrolux said that they did not supply a warranty for that item. I read that they use refurbished parts also to repair their appliances. Someone should have told me this or I wouldnt have bought the warranty. The service call last year was just under $100.00 which I refused to pay since we had just bought it.I requested a refund from my extended warranty that went into effect August 7, 2013. I paid $185.90 and will only get $122.74 minus the $18.59 administer fees bringing the total refund to $104.14. This is crazy! I wish I had done research on this product, but didnt have the time. I will go to Lowes and let the service reps. know that this is a lousy brand and dont recommend it to their clients as well as writing a complaint on Lowes website.

The screen is hardly visible for years and the new parts are supposed to be worse than keeping the old part that the microwave works. After 5 years I had to replace the Electrolux refrigerator and dishwasher. After 7 years I had to replace the Electrolux stove and oven. I would replace the microwave but they do not make this size anymore. Although, the new Electrolux appliances are beautiful. I truly believe the original appliances should have lasted longer. I do not recommend this brand for anything except vacuums.

We purchased our home in December of 2016. With the purchase included a new Electrolux $2700.00 side by side refrigerator. Within two days of moving in, the water dispenser stopped working. After 5 visits from a technician and 5 replaced freezer doors, the builder agreed to replace the unit. Electrolux received call after call from our technician regarding the issue and we were told via the technician that Electrolux wanted us to pour warm water through the ice dispenser on a daily basis. If I am correct, the user manual did not indicate that this was required on a daily basis in order for the dispenser to work. I would not recommend the purchase of any Electrolux products; poor quality and poor customer service. BUYER BEWARE.

I have a 3 month old refrigerator and it is not cooling. It is now three weeks without a refrigerator and no end in sight. They have no one that can service the unit and wont replace it. They are now on the second service person and he cant look at it for 20 days. I expect to be without a refrigerator for at least 3 months, this is just not fair. They should have just replaced it. Lets see. A 12 month warranty but the unit doesnt work for at least 3 months and I have renters that have no refrigerator. I will now not buy from Home Depot either because they wont exchange and they dont repair. I will next time buy from a company that sells and repairs what they sell.

After 6 months, my Electrolux gas dryer stopped working. Relieved it was still under warranty, I contacted Electrolux. That was a week ago and my dryer is still not repaired. The hold up is that the 2 lb part that the repairman determined was needed is in North Carolina and I live in California. Electrolux has refused to expedite delivery and has sent it via UPS SurePost which will take 8 days. This costs about $10 vs the $37 2-day UPS services costs. More disturbingly, after much insistence on my part, Electrolux agreed to send it via 2-day UPS service but then did not do it. I have wasted so much time and energy trying to get through to Electrolux customer service agents and then trying to get information out of them. They have gone back and forth telling me stories about the shipping details. Escalating to supervisors has been useless, they, too, make general statements such as, I understand how frustrating this must be to not have your dryer for a long period of time. The lack of real interest in customer service is shocking and I will never be purchasing Electrolux again. Just wanted to warn other consumers.

In the first few months during which I purchased a brand new dishwasher, it began spilling out water, flooding my entire kitchen. I have had repair people service it 4 times already and still the problem persists. I called Electrolux and complained this issue is causing damage to my house. It is very inconvenient to keep changing my schedule to wait for the repair person and we have no confidence at all in putting the unit on as we fear it will flood the house. They told me that the only thing that they could do is to keep sending the repair person, as per the terms of the contract. So I am stuck with a clearly defective, faulty appliance that Electrolux continues to deny to be broken. I have scheduled a 5th visit, but judging by historical performance, I am not holding my breath.

Not only was our washer and dryer late, but when they arrived, the stacking kit (that we purchased with it) AND the dryer vent did not come with. I tried calling like 10 different numbers to not get ANY help, still didnt. So when the delivery people came, they couldnt even set it up for us. Now we had to go back to Home Depot, explain, and show them we paid. They had trouble contacting them! So its going to be another week plus of waiting for the kit! That comes to almost 7 total weeks of waiting when they were originally scheduled to be here November 6 (originally with a 3 week waiting period). It is now November 27 and delivery date for this part is December 5. Im livid. Customer service reps are bogus and people didnt do their job right.

I wish I would have found this website before purchasing the refrigerator 4 years ago. I will never buy another Electrolux product again. The ice maker has never fully worked since we got the refrigerator. Contacted Electrolux when it was still under warranty. The service company came out. Said it was the control board and that they would replace it. Never heard from them again and got busy. Finally the ice maker stopped working altogether about a year ago. I think the biggest problem with these appliances is that they are not made in the USA. This refrigerator was made in Mexico -- you get what you pay for -- low wages, low quality. When are we going to learn? Cheap labor is never better. As with Electrolux they have lost and will lose a lot of business due to these problems. Did they really save a lot of money seeking out a lower labor cost country? I will make sure my next appliance is made in the USA.

Worst customer service, next to Fiat Corp, at least. On hold for 55 minutes waiting for a supervisor whom the customer service rep initially refused to get and then the supervisor refused to talk to me. I managed to call on a different phone and a helpful rep got me a supervisor in 8 minutes! Bottom line, my 2 month old Electrolux dishwasher has a plate rack that routinely collapses. After breaking several plates I decided to call for repair. They wanted me to troubleshoot, which I refused since I have moved nothing since getting the unit. The supervisor then informs me that I will be charged for the service call since the racks that hold the plates vertical are considered cosmetic and not functional and therefore not covered? Really? I dont need those racks to have my dishes cleaned? And apparently there are no actual lists of cosmetic and functional parts. It’s all arbitrary and based on what the company wants. Never another Electrolux or Frigidaire for me!

Our experience is very much in line with previous reviews from other people. We purchased a refrigerator for a tenants apartment in February. It broke in June and the run-around started. 5 on-site calls from technicians and the problem couldnt be solved. We meanwhile purchased another unit from a different manufacturer and Electrolux insist to send another technician. Never seen anything like this ever before (we probably purchased 50 or 60 refrigerators over the past years). The time wasted by us, the tenant, customer service staff and money for the technicians could have bought 5 top of the line appliances... Never again and I will take Electrolux to court. No way that we spend another minute to entertain another service call. We want our money back.

We purchased this model (EI23BC35KS4) about 8 months ago and have had no issues with it. I think that unfortunately many of the other reviews here are referring to older models. This particular model has LED lighting, which I assume must have solved the issue of the incandescent bulbs 'blistering' the plastic because ours doesn't seem to have that problem. I also think the design of the upper ice machine has been improved because ours works just fine. However a few seconds after you dispense ice, there is a flap that must close to keep the ice maker cool, and if you open the door too soon the machine will beep until you close the door and the flap can shut. It is a very minor annoyance. Overall we are very happy with our purchase and would recommend this fridge, and would also recommend that people stop expressing their hatred of other models through reviews of this model!
