Purchased Electrolux fridge model EI123BC361IS in 2010. Yesterday noticed not cooling. After troubleshooting it was determined light switch not functioning which resulted with bulbs (4) staying actively lit after doors closed. The bulbs super heated fridge causing internal temp to read 99 degrees. The heat from the bulbs melted a hole in internal plastic wall exposing styrofoam insulation. Partially melted another hole over another light. Lower bulbs turned sockets dark brown and also began to melt plastic there as well. Contacted customer service said machine not under warranty. No kidding, I told them not really interested in warranty, I wanted to let them know it poses a fire threat. Their response was to advise me to call a technician and examine it. I suggested to them they should send out a representative at their own expense and forwarded photos to them. Did not get the impression they really care and were not very helpful.

Our Electrolux Fridge model EI23BC60KS (ELECTROLUX, REF F/S 24D, FRENCH DOOR, F/D, 23CUFT, 24D, HDN HNG, I/M) started overheating about 9 months post purchase. Since then weve taken at least 12 days off work so far to have service technicians come check it out (6x now) and then waited approx a week to get a second visit where they replaced a different part each time or turned it off. Worst is that every time, weve lost hundreds of dollars in food and we have a baby so had to purchase a mini fridge to at least keep his basic items like milk cool. When I reached out to Electrolux Canada Head office the last time, they indicated they couldnt do anything other than paying for parts given it was the same issue identified during warranty period because I didnt purchase replacement insurance (this was two days post warranty period). Again the same thing happened so this will be our 7th call to a servicing company. This is the second set of Electrolux appliances (we had them in our old house as well and I recommended them to friends and family given no their sleek design). Its so not worth it though unless youre ok having a fridge that doesnt actually function. This has been the worst product and customer support experience Ive had in my life. I paid a lot of money for a fridge that didnt even last 9 months, lost hundreds of dollars in food, taken several days off work to try and resolve and still no solution or support from Electrolux whatsoever.

We bought our current washer and dryer set around 3 years ago. After the first few months the washer EIFLS60LT1 completely failed and needed a new drum, bearing belt and pulley. It was replaced for us. After another few months the exact same problem came up and got fixed under warranty. Now a couple years later the same problem is starting again with failing bearings and also the LCD screen quit working shortly after it was fixed under warranty.

We bought a $1,500, top of the line E-lux combo microwave and warm-air oven. It is our complementary oven. Our normal oven is primary. We use the microwave perhaps every other day for 1 minute warming coffee. It died, circuit board death. $600 to remove and replace it! It is less than 5 years old with less than 50 hours of use. E-lux told me tough luck. I cannot recommend their product or service. Electroluxs product is poor.

Purchased top of the line Electrolux double oven last November. Five days after 1 year manufacturer warranty expired, the oven glass door shattered during self-clean. The company offered to fix if I bought an extended warranty which I did. The customer service has been horrible - the worst Ive ever experienced. They had to order a part and it took several aggravating phone calls just to check the status of the parts order. No one wants to follow through on your request - they just transfer your call to a different area and you end up having to give out the same info. On one call I was transferred 5 times before I actually got a rep that was able to help me. Even the survey at the end of the call did not work. Was answering the questions and then it hung up before the survey was through. I will never buy or recommend Electrolux products.

I really wanted a super quiet dishwasher, which this is. Unfortunately, it needs to be reset frequently, doesnt clean well, sometimes decides not to use the dry cycle for no discernible reason. The stainless steel actually got a stain on it that I cannot remove. Between this and the Electrolux fridge that we dont like, I cant recommend this companys products.

I have had the Electrolux dishwasher less than three years and it has failed twice. The first time cost $200 after just over a year of service and now with a pending repair bill of over $700. That would make the dishwasher cost over $2,300 for less than three years of service. The Electrolux customer service said it was my problem and they wouldnt fix it.

Our new home came with Electrolux appliances, which I thought was great. Not so much. My dishwasher buttons are smearing off (Model EI24ID81SS) and the button board requires unplug and replugging when the button board freezes. My wall oven has (EW30EW55PS) has a temperature probe that worked for the two times I used it, and does not work. My microwave (EW30SO60QS) creates steam on the buttons, which have already malfunctioned for 4 months where the time or timer just didnt work. I have to leave my microwave open to make sure the steam for using the microwave does not break the buttons. The gas stove top (EW36GC55PS) didnt ignite one of the burners after 1 month of use so I had to manually grab a lighter & ignite the burner for use. Ive never had so many issues from one brand. The only 1 star is for their aesthetic appearance.

We bought an Electrolux washing machine, front loader, almost a year ago. It started leaking 11 months into our ownership. Three calls later to Electrolux, we now have had multiple parts replaced and even the motor replaced. Now the technician is telling us that he has to again replace the same part he replaced a month ago. Its complete garbage! A total lemon! Never buy!!

I bought an expensive Electrolux refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher in 2012. So far I have required repairs on the dishwasher (control panel went dead); stove (would not self clean) and the refrigerator has broken plastic that holds up the bins; very hard to remove drawers and put back in for cleaning. The bin handles you pull out are broken on at least 3 drawers. I bought these online thinking if I paid a very high price I would get quality - WRONG. I believe the cheap builders appliances would have been better than the Electrolux fix and repair too often.

In 2010, I purchased $10,000 worth of appliances from Electrolux. My side-by-side refrigerator has been an issue since day one. The hydrator in my refrig freezes everything I put in it. Five years ago I remodeled my kitchen. I was talked into the top of the line Electrolux icon line and paid the price for it! Now I am again paying the price for it. Where shall I start? Hmm lets go with the overpriced refrigerator that has now almost completely fallen apart. Every shelf made with plastic fittings has now broke. Shelves are now barely holding one, drawers dont roll and stick and again, plastic parts broken and cannot be repaired. Overpriced built-in convection/microwave. Now not working as I dont want to put an additional $500.00 to repair the thing. Id rather put the money towards something worth having. Oh, and this is the second time its been repaired. Built-in convection oven electrical panel has been replaced once. Im not holding my breath. Now this morning, two of the electrical units on my flat top built-in stove have an error indicator on them. Who knows what is wrong now! All I can say is seriously, 4/4 items being in disrepair in less than five years. Well, you do the math. Do not buy any Electrolux product.

We bought a suite of Electrolux appliances when we moved into our new home, 6 in all and within 5 years all but two failed with another on its way out. First to go was the Dryer first indicated by an error code. Next was their top of the line oven stove Microwave followed by the Dishwasher and not long after came the failure of the Refrigerator. The digital display on the stove is no longer readable. That leaves the Washer which for the life of me I can’t understand why it’s still working. We’ve replaced all of them needless to say with other brands. Never again Electrolux.

Electrolux refrigerator exhibiting serious problems after the one year manufacturer warranty was up. I had purchased an extended warranty (not through manufacturer) however, when I called Electrolux to report my issues - possibly having a lemon, too many problems for a new fridge, etc. - they were completely disinterested and took no responsibility for their product. They said it was a dealer problem if I wanted any comeback! I spoke to a supervisor Jennifer. How can companies take no responsibility for a product? Specifically ice maker problems, digital display and water dispenser.

I have 5 little kids ages 10 months to 9 years and I do laundry as you can imagine as a MUST every second day!! Bought Electrolux washer dryer since I was advised they have fastest washing time and does great wash! To my utmost disappointment and my worst nightmare I got a lemon of a Wash machine! Worked for 1 week! Only! Started squeaking then leaking! Called the company and since it is under warranty they said will send someone down! Waited a full week! Finally the technician says gotta replace 5 parts! Had to wait 2 weeks for parts! You can imagine Im schlepping garbage bags and bags with kids in tow to Laundromat! Aggravation! Finally parts arrive, the technician comes back after a few days- installs back tub, front tub, basket, rubber by door! Every single part in this new machine! And disappears before he even has a chance to check it out properly! Besides for he scratched up my wall, and left all the old parts and garbage by my front door! Heavy parts!!I breathe a sigh of relief though somewhat! Great let’s do laundry! Throw in much needed load, and whoa when it comes to spinning it starts squeaking and bam! Stops spinning totally!!! This was Friday afternoon, can’t reach technician till Monday! Finally reach them Monday after suffering through Laundromat again. Guy comes back, opens the insides, says “oh the rubber slid off”! Puts it back on! And out the door he is! Call me if you have any problem!I had towels that were smelling already, threw in the load and in no time the squeaking started!!! Before I had a chance to do anything smoke started bellowing out of the machine. I pressed cancel and quickly called and ran for all the kids! I grabbed the infant and toddler ran outside! Luckily phone was in hand I called fire dept! Thank God I caught it early and stopped the machine! But I cannot use it now!I called Electrolux and they say they will send other repair company!! I begged, demanded and threatened for a new machine!! Can you believe that!?? They refused!! I need a new machine! I got a total lemon! I have 5 little kids! I cannot afford all the aggravation to wait for them to come figure out that they cannot fix or how.

I purchased all 4 appliances: the refrigerator, the stove, the dishwasher and the microwave. Ive had issues with all of them. I am not exaggerating when I say I had 22 repairmen come out to fix my refrigerator, including their own engineer who flew out and spent 8 hours and even he couldnt fix the problem. Very sad! There was issues with the ice machine and sliders which left the freezer door open for I dont no how long and the light comes on when it wants to. The stove has stopped working, so of course we had to eat out on Thanksgiving and Christmas and its still not fixed. The frame around the top was bent when delivered so the whole thing had to be replaced and there were some missing screws. My dishwasher has never properly cleaned the dishes; Ive given up on having clean dishes altogether. What Im saying is if you are on the fence about purchasing Electrolux appliances, take a walk in my shoes. Its been a nightmare since I purchased my Electrolux. I dont mean to bad mouth a company but having my appliances for the short time that I have has only caused me stress and frustration. I saw some of the complaints before I made my discussion and thought that some of the people had nothing better to do but complain, but now I believe all the people that have had issues because Im living it. I’m stuck with a very bad product. I will have to live with it until the warranty run out then they will go on Craigslist. Dont walk away from deciding if you want to purchase an Electrolux product: run away.

This is the worst experience I have ever had. Six months ago, moving to the new home, everything is fine but the Electrolux washer keeps giving me headache. Same sensor problem happened 3 times. There are 3 different companies that came to fix it. Okay, finally its fixed, but this is not a very good sign to have such a new machine with recurring problem. I had a very bad feeling about it, but they refused to replace a new functional one to me. No refund! No replacement. Live with it!Recently I found a lot of mold within the gasket and even the hardest clean layer. I tried to wipe it ever since I found it, but it just keeps coming back. I expect a new gasket, but the customer service said its not covered by the warranty. I need to pay for the part $155 + tax + techs labor. What? Is this my responsibility? The poor design is trapping the water. They said I need to leave the door open and clean it every time. There is a gap very, very hard to reach in. I cant imagine the front load washers door needs to be left open to air dry. No wonder there are horrible news about kids got into the washer or dryer. I am buying a $1,400+ washer, but I need to wipe it after each wash? High tech or more work? Reading their FB and saw many people complain about all types of appliance they bought. I wish Id read it! They really dont care about their reputation and no customer services at all.

I bought the big expensive Electrolux washer and dyer. The big stand up kind with the doors on the side, with the window in the door. I love the washer but the dryer does not dry well and the wrinkle release is useless. To make matters worse some moron designed the filter inside the door to be flat so clothes just sit on the ledge and wrinkle terribly. It is a really stupid design!!! Picked this up locally, and installation was fairly easy. At first we thought there was a issue with the keys as they didn't seem too responsive. We learned that you must touch and hold for a second to have it register. No biggie, just have to slow down :-) One complaint is the exhaust fan noise. It's LOUD. I have it exhausting out the top to the outside of the house. However it's very loud inside. I believe a lot of it is wind noise, because the fan is rated at a very high CFM for over the stove microwaves. My other complaint is the underside lights. They work great but they get HOT. If left on for a period of time, they will heat up the inside of the microwave. You would of thought they would have used LED's.

We purchased an Electrolux dishwasher model EI241D50QS in March 2015. The main board and the pressure switch went in Nov 2016 of course after warranty. Luckily the manufacturer agreed to pay for at least the parts for replacement. Fast forward now to Aug 2017 again the main board looks to be broken in less than a year. Called customer service and asked what they can do to help me as this dishwasher is only 2 years old and should not be broken down for second time and this part is less than a year old. Only response was, “Sorry nothing we can do.” So basically the 1k dishwasher I paid for 2 years ago is junk as the part and about to repair is almost the same cost, what a joke that they cannot stand by their product and give terrible customer service saying, “Oh well nothing we can do. Youre on your own.” I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER APPLIANCE FROM ELECTROLUX OR FRIGIDAIRE EVER AGAIN AND WARN OTHERS ABOUT THEIR PRODUCT.

In September of 2011 we purchased an Electrolux Wall Oven (EW30MC65JS1) as a part of a total kitchen rehab. This appliance also contains a microwave oven and is installed as a single unit: microwave above, convection oven below. Because of construction delays, the unit was not installed until summer of 2012 when it was put into residential service. Within months of the install, the microwave cooling fan would not stop running. Even after constantly cleaning the inside and leaving the door open for 30 min or more, the only way to stop the fan was to throw the breaker switch at the panel in the basement. Finally, after several weeks of this nonsense and a visit from a repairman, the microwave began to act normal. That is until April, 2014: the magnetron went, a $591.35 repair bill. I contacted Electrolux and they sent us a $99 debit card (!?). Yesterday evening I could not get the oven to turn off. About 4 hours after dinner, I went through the kitchen and noticed that the oven was still on. The control panel was showing only the time, nothing else. I turned the oven back on, then I turned it off and waited 30 min. The oven was still on pumping out heat as if it were still warming dinner. I threw the breaker switch at the panel downstairs. I waited overnight and threw the switch back this morning. The oven is now off and we do not intend to use it again. We have kept our designer current with all of the Electrolux problems and she has stopped advising clients to purchase Electrolux products. The unit cost about $3300 in 2011 and has cost at least another $750 to keep going. Given the dangerousness of the last problem with the oven not turning off Ill probably scrap it.

Purchased the unit in September 2020. Had repairman out in November. Now, in May, I’m still waiting for a fan motor assembly to resolve a fan noise that sounds like a bass boat motor when oven hits 420 degrees. I understand COVID excuses, but you sold this oven 6 months into the pandemic. Why do you make and sell new products, but claim you can’t service what you are selling? Stop building new units and use the parts to service what you’ve already sold. Don’t leave your customers holding your COVID bag of problems.

36 Electrolux Icon Professional Series Counter Depth French Door - For a refrigerator that costs 3700.00 you would think it would last WELL. You would be WRONG. Not a good investment. I do not recommend this product at all. We have had the rubber seals go bad. Pieces of some plastic just brake off and now the repairman tells us that the ice maker just ate itself. We have no power to it at all, good thing we were home. The service guy said he has seen where they have caught fire. Again glad we were home. Customer service is NO HELP AT ALL. We purchased our refrigerator 4.5 years ago for $925. Though everything still looks and sounds ok, it has stopped cooling and the compressor at the bottom rear gets really hot. There is apparently a 5 year warranty on the sealed unit. After several phone calls, these are the hoops we would be expected to jump through: Not just any licensed refrigeration technician will do (since we already had one look at it). We would need an authorized servicer to come and verify if it is the sealed unit that has failed. The authorized servicer would charge us and it would not be covered by Electrolux (they say they cover materials only, not labor). That said, if the authorized servicer determined that the sealed unit had failed, the compressor and the evaporator are both obsolete items not available from Electrolux, so they dont actually cover the materials. Instead, Electrolux would offer us a 10% rebate toward a new refrigerator (presumably once we purchased it from them?) So the warranty is useless and we wont be doing any of this.

I purchased a complete set of ICON Electrolux appliances just over 10 months ago. The first time we used the dishwasher, the control panel kept displaying a code 11 that indicated a drain valve issue. I contacted the customer service department and they referred me to a service company to come and review the issue. The service tech had no idea what he needed to do, and advised me that it was not an issue with the appliance, but an installation issue and advised there was nothing he could do. I then contacted a plumber at my own cost and was advised by a 25-year experienced plumber that there was nothing wrong with the installation and to contact Electrolux back to get a second opinion from another service tech. I contacted Electrolux back and after many complaints, they finally sent a different service company to review the product. The new service tech finally advised that the issue was due to the faulty computer board, which he advise Electrolux to replace. Electrolux then advised that the dishwasher I purchased was no longer available and the store which I purchased from gave me a refund. I then decided to give Electrolux another chance and purchased their product. Recently, I used the self-clean on my Electrolux ICON stove and when the self-clean was complete, I opened the stove and noticed the door window had dirty film in between the glass and there were two size toony marks on right and left side of the door. I wiped it with a damp cloth and pieces of the material started chipping off. I sent an email to their customer service department and they advised there was nothing they can do as their guarantee only covers working parts and not visual ones. I could not believe that I received such an email from a high-end company.

As part of a luxury kitchen renovation we chose Electrolux appliances. Built in refrigerator with matching built in freeze, double ovens and induction cooktop. The freezer broke within the first year and it was like pulling teeth to get someone to service it. Electrolux would not stand behind their product and while waiting for parts it just started working again. We lost all our food twice. Its worked since then but often freezes up inside and often has a huge amount of condensate on the exterior. Similar issues with the fridge. They replaced the gasket on the door which did not make a difference other than now I have a gasket that isnt fully attached. Most recently the induction top died. Three weeks to get a service tech here and it is going to cost $ 1,100 to fix a three year old cooktop. I will never buy this brand again and as a leading remodeling contractor in two states, I will not let me clients buy Electrolux either. No help from Electrolux or the dealer.

Ordered a new fridge freezer from Electrolux and expected delivery tomorrow. Unfortunately they have invoiced my supplier and lost my fridge so no new fridge freezer tomorrow! I telephoned Electrolux customer services... and waited... and waited... and waited. After over 10 minutes I decided too many people must be complaining about their dreadful service so I gave up, hung up and phoned my supplier to cancel. I have now ordered a fridge freezer from an alternative supplier... Electrolux? Never again!!

Wow where do I start. Purchased for almost $3800 in 8/09. Less then a yr old, all the door hinges had to be replaced with a upgraded hinge. Three months later the door catches broke and had to be replaced. Six months later the ice maker was making very loud popping noises. It had to be replaced, not once but twice with again upgraded unit. The ice makers still makes lots of strange noises. Service tech says thats normal? The final straw came the week prior to this past Christmas when the info panel read an error code of SY EF. Called for service and after several days they came out to advise me it was the evaporator fan and control board. The unit ran continuously trying to keep at requested temp, all to no avail. You would think an appliance would last longer than 5 years without a major malfunction. Not so with Electrolux. Still waiting for parts to arrive, 2 weeks later. I would go into additional details about the dishwasher and microwave oven at this time. Junk. Ive learned my very expensive lesson.

DONT RECOMMEND TO BUY ELECTROLUX PRODUCTS!!! Bought a brand new unit of Electrolux EWT903 XW top loader washing machine last August 2015. This is 9 kg washing machine for 2 person. We also seldom use the machine since we go out of town always. The machine suddenly broke down on October 2016. Call the Electrolux Philippines head office for request to check the machine problem. The service was so bad, that it took more than 3 weeks to schedule to checkup. The Check up was done on Nov 26, and the service technician advised that the Gate valve below the machine to let the water flow out was damaged. Asked the Service Technician the cause of damage, the service Technician also dont know. Later, the Office call me, and explained the cause of damage may be as ff: 1) Electric fluctuation 2) overload. This 2 reason are so dumb stupid reason, since we seldom use the machine. My conclusion is there must a design problem for this Electrolux EWT903 EW washing machine. DONT RECOMMEND TO BUY.

We purchased an Electrolux side by side refrig in 2010. Within that first year the icemaker stopped working continually. It happened so many times that we finally called the company. Electrolux knows their icemaker is faulty and they immediately replaced the entire refrigerator. After about a year, the icemaker on the 2nd refrig stopped functioning. It was still under warranty and the process of replacing the icemaker began. It went on for the 3 years. Now the warranty is up. The icemaker does not function and Electrolux wants NOTHING to do with the problem.

Cheap material and poor technical support. I had 2 refrigerators replaced and 5 repairs on the 2nd one, all within 6 months!! Waiting on delivery of the 3rd replacement refrigerator! Very poor customer service, do not think about convenience of consumer. All the repairs and replacements done only during work hours with no specific time range! So to take a full day off from work for every visit was extremely difficult.Updated on 05/16/2017: I previously told that Electrolux is trying to replace my refrigerator for the 2nd time within 6 months, to add to that situation, the 3rd refrigerator that was delivered today also had damage on its external body - as shown by the delivery person himself after opening the package in front of me. It was our first time trying out this brand and we were not disappointed. Our fridge is almost 2 years old now and it did not give us any headache. It's very spacious and cools greatly. There were also ice trays included in the fridge so that's a plus. It's also very easy to clean and it has a very sleek design! Would recommend to others for sure!

I have had two top of the line Electrolux appliances for four years, a nearly $3,000 stove, model ‪#‎VF02062872‬ and a very expensive French door refrigerator, model ‪#‎EW23BC70IS1‬. Both of these appliances have suffered with reoccurring problems of which Electrolux was apparently aware but unable to provide a permanent solution. The stove became totally inoperable after completing the self-cleaning function. Nothing works! The door is locked shut. The surface units dont work and I cant even use the clock or timer. This has happened 4 or 5 times already. The first two times this happened, it was under warranty and they did fix it. After that they wanted me to purchase an expensive service contract. Thats totally ridiculous to cover a recurring problem. The problem has continued to recur. Apparently the heat from the self-cleaning function destroys a computer board in the control panel. To date, it appears that Electrolux has been unable to solve this problem. When the same problem happens again and again with the same appliance it should be considered to be a lemon. The last time this happened it took them 6 weeks to get me the parts. After fighting with them for about 45 minutes this morning, they agreed to send me the parts for half price but wont cover the service. The ice maker in the refrigerator has been repaired or replaced several times. The water dispenser is not even designed to get the water cold. I thought I was buying quality products. One of the letters I received from them about the problems says, Please be assured that you have invested in one of the finest appliances manufactured in the world today. I bought these products because the company had a reputation for dependable performance and enduring quality. The products I have would indicate otherwise. In view of its service and the quality of the products weve purchased recently, I could not, in good faith, recommend Electrolux. The consequences were that the stove continues to be defective and will probably burn up again. What Order Number do you want below?

We first bought an Electrolux Icon French style (2 doors, bottom freezer) 6 years ago as part of a kitchen reno, along with matching wall ovens. From day one the ice maker had nothing but problems - service calls every few months. They did do 1 repair after the warranty expired. The next time I called they offered to replace the fridge at cost, and we agreed as we wanted to maintain the look of the kitchen. The ice maker on this unit worked, but after about a year the unit appeared to lose its mind and would randomly give high temp warnings, and then be OK for a day or two. Service tech diagnosed ice build up in the freezer and evaporator and recommended a full defrost. We did that and it was OK for few months, then happened again. This repeated 6 months later, and now again for the 3rd time. This time I pulled out the usin and noticed a huge patch of rust on the stainless steel back plate right behind the ice maker. So, looks like the ice maker has an internal leak, which builds up as ice inside the unit and eventually screws with the temp sensors. The door gasket is also now disintegrating. Bottom line - these people do not know how to design or build reliable refrigerators. They are quite literally junk. The ovens have been great though :).

However, it suddenly stopped working and required an $800 part to fix. Turned out the part didnt solve the problem and Im on the hook for the part and still have a stovetop that doesnt work. Electrolux originally said theyd try and help with repairs but have since said no, told us to buy an extended warranty and basically said it was our choice to purchase the part or not. I wouldnt buy any product from this company, based solely on their abysmal customer service. When you spend over $3000 on a product, you expect it to last more than 3 years and companies that require you to purchase extended warranties clearly dont have much faith in their products.

Remodeled a kitchen with all Electrolux appliances (cooktop, double oven, French door/ bottom freezer). Started having problems with the fridge shortly after purchase. After several repairs to the ice maker, the appliance store replaced the entire refrigerator. Continued to have probs with the ice maker = more repairs and thank goodness under warranty. We then moved to another state and brought that fridge with us (it had cost us > $3000). Bought the extended warranty because we had had so many problems with it (aka more money spent). Had to have further repairs done and the motherboard was replaced under the extended warranty.Remodeled our new kitchen with more Electrolux appliances minus a fridge. Over the past 5-6 years we have spent $15-20000 on Electrolux appliances. Wanted nice looking and (we thought) reliable, high quality and dependable apps for our $$$ spent. Have continued to have probs with the refrigerator ice maker - a very moody part/worked when it wanted to!!!Several days ago I took ice cream out of the freezer compartment and it was almost melted. Thought maybe I hadnt properly closed the door (although a signal should sound if this were so). I rearranged a few things in the freezer and made sure the door was solidly closed. No change. The temp gauges on the front panel were still registering 0* for the freezer and 37* for the fridge. A thermometer showed 10*/freezer and 45*/fridge and these numbers worsened over a couple hours. I was lucky enough to have some freezer and fridge space in an older refrigerator to store food products.Today the appliance repair guy told me that there was a freon leak in the ice machine and could be repaired for ~$1000. But being an honest guy he said the best thing to do was to take it out back and shoot it and forget about putting more money into it. The prob would probably happen again and again. We are going to purchase a new refrigerator- NOT ELECTROLUX- NOT EVER AGAIN!!!! The Electrolux Customer Service Dept was going to give us a greatdeal of 30% off of parts - ordered from them of course!! Thanks but no thanks. After spending so much money on Electrolux already I am angry. Does anyone know about any pending legal action against Electrolux? After reading reviews, I am certainly not an isolated case.

We purchased an Electrolux washer and dryer in April of 2019 because our plumber installed the washer connection on the right side of our laundry room. Electrolux was the only system that offered a reversible door on the washer. We have owned an LG washer and dryer since 2005 and like that brand, but were stuck with the situation. The dryer is a stunning example of lousy engineering and lousy quality control. The door ledge is deep, so the spinning motion of the dryer dumps lighter-weight clothes like socks and T-shirts onto the ledge, which covers the lint filter opening which causes poor air circulation. To fix that, the company installed a larger vane that apparently tries to fix the problem by scooping the clothes off the filter. It works with larger items, not with smaller. The second failure is the moisture sensor, which sits near the lint filter, facing up. It is fairly large. Since the clothes do not properly circulate in the dryer and end up on top of the lint filter, they end up on top of the moisture sensor. The wet clothes stay in circulation because they are heavier. The lighter clothes that dry faster end up falling on the lint filter and sensor, so the dryer thinks the load is dry and signals the end of cycle. We often have to run three or more cycles to dry the clothes. The electronic control board failed within a few months of the dryer being installed. The touch sensors would not work. When the service tech came out to replace it, he said that it was a common problem with the machines, and demonstrated sliding a finger across the button we wanted to active when the panel stopped responding. He also suggested using the timed drying feature rather than the sensor options because of the poor design of the sensor. He replace the panel, which then failed again about 6 months later. This time, the timed option stopped working; its stuck on 30 minutes. A few weeks ago, the washer decided to join in the fray. It will not dispense fabric softener. Apparently the control that turns on the water spray over the dispenser is not working, so we have a cup full of softener sitting there. In 15 years of owning LG appliances (the first set from 2005 to 2016, the second set from 2106 to now - both are in our primary home) we have had more service calls on the Electrolux garbage in 18 months of service than 15 years for LG. We begged Electrolux to take the appliances back, but they refused. It appears that their primary profit comes from selling extended warranty service, which costs a significant percentage of the original purchase price. Bottom line: Electrolux products should stay in the showroom, not in your laundry room.

After I had the builder and service person take all the necessary pictures to prove the defect Electrolux didn’t care and refused to reimburse me for my losses. This is why I’m writing this because they should know people are a lot smarter than they think and this will cause people to look elsewhere. They also own Frigidaire so another brand that they will lose on, all it take is word of mouth and the truth will eventually come out. All they care about is money and deception.

Purchased this unit November 2015. From start we had problems with upper ice maker that dispenses ice on door. Auger freezes up. Electrolux certified Service people in twice during first few months and replaced auger unit. That initial fix appeared to address the problem. However, not the case. Late 2016 noted water accumulated at base of refrig and ice cubes melting in the bin etc... obviously not happy at this point. Luckily we bought extended warranty from our local appliance store where purchased. Apparently insulation must be installed to the back of the fridge. Electrolux fix to solve this poor design/mechanical dilemma. Must add that there is a 2nd ice maker in the bottom freezer section. This fix will extend fridge out additional 2. This is frankly the best fridge I ever owned EXCEPT for the latter icemaker problem. Has great storage in two layers of bins. Glass shelving is nicely staggered and makes items easily visible. Keeps fruits/veggies fresh longer. Cleaning is swift as shelves comes out easily and not difficult to maneuver in sink etc. Bottom freezer is large and can handle a lot of frozen foods. Disappointing that for the price of this unit this problem did not surface in the design stage.

I purchased Electrolux dishwasher and refrigerator in 2010. We have had nothing but problems. We took out a warranty plan (THANK GOD). Our refrigerator did not make ice, and after 4 visits was replaced in 2013. The new refrigerator makes ice but all in the wrong places. We have had repair come out 4 times now to fix it (it should have been replaced, but due to the 1 year warranty with Electrolux, warranty company is stating that this is only the 3rd visit and they will attempt to try and fix the problem they couldnt fix the 1st 3 times. Repairman stated that in order to fix our Refrigerator we would need to thaw it for 21 hours before he can repair (think of all the circuits rusting). Dishwasher has had 3 motor replacements since 2010. I renewed another warranty plan as the motor goes out every year. We are totally disgusted with our Electrolux products.

There was no help available from Electrolux. Even some price reduction for purchasing a new oven. Disappointed with the entire process.

Bought a front load washer and dryer 2 years ago. Within the first month our washer was beeping and displaying an error code. Called and told it would cost $125 for one of their authorized repairmen to take a look. Fast forward to 6 months old, it started leaving oil/grease stains on our clothing. Destroying these articles of clothing. Fast forward to 9 months in and out dryer wouldnt stay on for longer than 5 minutes at a time. Called and was told it was the heat element and it was not covered. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?! So we paid out of pocket to repair and purchase the part. Now not even two years old the washer is leaking water everywhere causing extensive damage to our floor and wall. They are willing to cover the part as now suddenly parts ARE covered up to two years (so our heat element should have been covered!) but are still going to be responsible for the cost of labor. I have never seen such junk! What company does not stand behind their products?! I know and understand warranties. However with units that have had as many problems as these, it is inexcusable to shrug shoulders and say Oh well. Plagued with issues and no assistance. What a joke!!!

I was assisting my sister who had an Electrolux refrigerator that was leaking water at the bottom, in the front. After following the common troubleshooting for this kind of problem, I found that the drain trough was clogged with ice, preventing water from going through the drain tube into the drain pan. To get to the drain trough, I had to take most of the freezer apart-removing the ice maker, removing the housing containing the auger motor and dispenser solenoid, and removing two long metal covers held together by several screws.Whoever designed this flunked out of engineering school. Just to get to the light bulb, you have to remove the ice maker and the housing with the auger motor. What happened to just placing the light bulb socket on the ceiling, as is done with other refrigerator models? Im fairly handy with mechanical work, Ive built my own computers. This model is set up to make the average user have to call a service tech for the simplest repairs. Stay away from Electrolux, the design is just terrible.

They are now on the second service person and he cant look at it for 20 days. I expect to be without a refrigerator for at least 3 months, this is just not fair. They should have just replaced it. Lets see. A 12 month warranty but the unit doesnt work for at least 3 months and I have renters that have no refrigerator. After purchasing an $1,100 dryer you would hope to get some longevity out of it. After less than 3 weeks, the dryer belt burned out. 3 months later the same thing happened again. The second time Electrolux sent a service tech who came without parts left and said he would come back again the next morning. Did not show up so we have a dryer in pieces with no word back. Electrolux basically took no responsibility for either the product, which is clearly still under warranty, or on the service techs who they are dispatching. A completely disappointing experience. Our experience is very much in line with previous reviews from other people. We purchased a refrigerator for a tenants apartment in February. It broke in June and the run-around started. 5 on-site calls from technicians and the problem couldnt be solved. We meanwhile purchased another unit from a different manufacturer and Electrolux insist to send another technician. Never seen anything like this ever before (we probably purchased 50 or 60 refrigerators over the past years). The time wasted by us, the tenant, customer service staff and money for the technicians could have bought 5 top of the line appliances... Never again and I will take Electrolux to court. No way that we spend another minute to entertain another service call. We want our money back.

I purchased a Electrolux washer and dryer in the fall of 2015 and it has broken 4-5 times. Each time it takes 2-3 weeks for repair. This August they replaced the drum, a plastic piece that goes around the drum and the bearings. Five months later the plastic piece has started leaking a lot. So I have been out of a washer for 2 weeks now... never have I had a washer break so much... I bought it because this was suppose to be the best. Boy were they wrong!Updated on 1/15/2018: I recently wrote a review on my Electrolux washer. It was leaking water and the service person came out and said a plastic piece that wraps around the drum had cracked and they had to replace the drum, bearings and the plastic piece all had just been replaced 5 months before. It took 2 months for them to replace them 5 months ago. For 2 months I was without a washer. They replaced the part Jan 4th. The drum and plastic piece were covered in rust which is why my clothes were getting rust on them. Well 8 days later the washer will not drain. This is the fifth time since I bought the washer 2 1/2 years ago that it has broke. The insurance company says the same Part has to break 5 times before they replace it. This is the 2 or 3rd time the pump has broke. For a high-end washer this washer has been nothing but broke.

I purchased new Electrolux dishwasher from Goedekers.com, was delivered to me in intact box, so nothing to show delivery problem, I open the box and could not see any problem, scheduled installation and the installer discover that under the cover blanket the unit was really beaten up. So I called Electrolux and Goedekers to report the problem. The dishwasher is under 12 mos warranty. They send different appliance repair people to fix it. And the conclusion was the same: Replacement because cant be fix.But after two mos Electrolux/Goedekers game come with the statement: the warranty does not cover the repair (actually Electrolux spent $600 on diagnostics and screwing-unscrewing) + I spend long hrs talking/asking/emailing/listening CS reps, managers, supervisors, corporate executives telling different statements, basically lying and not taking responsibilities. The worst experience in my lifetime and Im 64 years. All this Electrolux/Goedekers reps were advising me to do illegal actions to repair the damage for unit under warranty and all is my mistake that I did not uncover the manufactured blanket when I checked the delivery shipped in intact package box. Also accusing me that I damaged my new dishwasher - insane! I ready to expose the damage that Electrolux and Goedekers are doing.

We purchased 4 Electrolux kitchen appliances, a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and range 10 years ago. Wanted all my appliances to match. The range worked except the oven panel on the bottom started to bubble. I called to get it replaced and they told me it wasnt made anymore so I had to live with it. After 2 years the microwave broke and had to replace it, 3 years later the microwave broke again and had to buy another. Then 4 years went by, and the refrigerator broke down completely! Of course, I kept saying - I want them to all match so we bought a new refrigerator. Well about 6 months later, you guessed it, the microwave broke. That was our third one. When I called to see if it could be fixed or replace the panel found out it was so expensive had to buy another. When speaking to customer support I happen to mention about my oven panel. Said yes, they did have a replacement so I ordered it in February. About a month ago it started to bubble just like the last one. Last week I called them and said had to pay for another. Which I will not do. Have not mentioned my dishwasher because I dont use it!! Sure it would break if I did. Hope you were able to read this long experience. In 10 years I have had 3 microwaves, 2 refrigerators and a oven panel that looks terrible. All Electrolux!!! Terrible!!!

We bought the El23BC60KS French door refrigerator. We immediately noticed a constant loud whirring noise and horrible high pitched tone, and the freezer frosted up. The high pitched noise is unbearable, and the compressor never shuts off. Even though this was a brand new refrigerator, Electrolux will not replace it. They said they require two functional failures to replace a new fridge. They only offered to send a repairman to fix it. I did not pay for a repaired refrigerator. They said we will have to work with the retailer to resolve the matter (who says we will have to deal with Electrolux). Today my carrots are frozen, and the freezer is white with frost. We paid $2500 for a defective fridge, and Electrolux will not stand behind their product. Two different customer service reps even told me the same lie about defective cars they bought, and how the dealers would not replace the cars. Horrible product and horrible customer service!

I recently assisted a family member in a recent kitchen remodeling project
I recently assisted a family member in a recent kitchen remodeling project that included the selection and purchase of several new appliances. A new gas range was one of three appliances acquired. The Electrolux Icon was selected and purchased as it appeared to be well-made, and loaded with features and desirable accessories. Unfortunately, immediately after the range was installed, the oven failed to operate correctly causing a need for a service call before it could be used the first time. (Timing is everything: The new range was installed days prior to Thanksgiving and when it proved to be not functioning, plans for the holiday had to be adjusted.) Because the Icon was purchased from Sears (no local Mom and Pop appliance store carried the Icon product line nor could order it), Sears was called for repair service. Several days later, the repairman arrived, and soon he made up a list of parts that would need to be replaced. He also advised us that the parts were not available locally and that it would take 10 to 12 days before they were available. This seemed to me to be an excessively long lag time to wait for parts, so after he left, I called Electrolux and spoke with a customer service representative who was very well trained, and very knowledgeable. I learned several facts that all owners of Electrolux MUST consider, especially if the appliances were purchased from Sears. First, DO NOT CALL SEARS FOR SERVICE! Sears contracts out service repair calls to A&E, and, I was told, Electrolux no longer has a business relationship with A&E due to A&Es poor workmanship. Instead, CALL ELECTROLUX and ask for the name of the certified repair shops in your geographical area. Second, choose a repair shop from the list provided by Electrolux. Document, document, document! Once the technician has identified the parts that are needed for repair, get the names of the parts and if possible, the parts numbers. The reason for this suggestion is simple: It is possible that the repair shops parts distributor may have a 10 to 12 day lag time before parts are provided. Not having a functioning appliance for a 2 to 3 week period is excessive, I would suggest. Therefore, with the parts name and number, call Electrolux directly, order the parts, and have them shipped directly to your home address. Schedule the repairs with the service repairman, by all means, but do not be held hostage by a supply chain that does not provide for faster service than the prescribed 10 to 12 days. In the case of our Icon oven, after calling a recommended repair shop, and they had completed their own diagnosis, the part was found to be readily available, and the repair was completed 24 hours later so it was not necessary for the part to be ordered from Electrolux. Interestingly, the Sears/A&E repairman had identified two parts that needed to be replaced whereas the recommended service technician identified a total of one part. Draw your own inference to this fact. Having gone through this experience, I have learned that there is a big difference between an appliance manufacturers sales channels and its back of the office service channels. If possible, try to identify a retailer that not only sells a product, but stands behind it with its own service department (and not contract out its repair services to an A&E type vendor). And remember that just because a retailer can sell a product, there is no reason to infer that they have the ability to service it. Also, the retailers ability to sell an extended service agreement has no bearing on their ability to service the product with qualified technicians.

The handle on our Microwave/hood broke one year ago and was replaced under an extended warranty. It broke again, same exact place as the first one less than a year in use by a household of two. No warranty coverage this time. When I contacted C/S their response was “I’ll be happy to schedule a service call, however it will be at your expense. I push back and the best I could do was a 50% discount on the part. When done I will spend approx 225.00 for parts and labor. When I questioned the possibility of a design problem, I was told that if there was they would have heard of it... Terrible design, terrible C/S answer, terrible Corp approach to a problem. This microwave was not inexpensive but the parts may well be of poor quality. I can’t not recommend Electrolux at this time.

Purchased Electrolux washer/dryer from Home Depot late 2017 (product received in Nov. 2017). Issues started soon after purchase with the dryer, it was clogging with lint in the blower motor. Not even sure how this was happening, since these are lint making machines. Service came out and had no options on how to prevent this from occurring. Again other than to contact servicing and have them clean it out. Basically they take the machine apart to do this, not a job for ordinary folk. After speaking with Electrolux, and informing them of this continuing issue. Their response is to continue calling for warranty/servicing. The big question was what if this issue persists beyond the one year manufacturing warranty, Electrolux response... “purchase extended warranty”. Are you kidding me!!! That’s when I contacted Home Depot head office. Their response to this issue was much of the same. I can’t believe either one of these entities could live up to their product (Electrolux) or service (Home Depot). This issue should resolved by a replacement or a full refund.Things to keep in mind, these service requests take up time during working hours cause warranty company doesn’t work after hours or weekends. So we have to take time off work each and every time a service is requested. Other option is to cut my losses and dump these machine and buy new ones. Even after a year of ownership. We purchased an Electrolux French door refrigerator five years ago. It is now dead, as a problem with the ice maker caused the back of the refrigerator to completely rust out. I researched the issue and saw that this has happened dozens or hundreds of times with Electrolux refrigerators. I tried to get some satisfaction from the CEO, Alan Shaw, but he would not take my call, hiding behind a woman named Rita. They did offer me a 25% rebate on a new Electrolux product, but I would think since it is a known problem, and the unit only lasted 5 years, I would get a rebate of 65-75%. I was shocked when Rita told me that Electrolux refrigerators only last for 5-7 years. I don’t think I have ever had a refrigerator last less than 20 years. I have a new slogan for Electrolux - “buy an Electrolux - they only last 1/2 as long as the competition. Obviously, I will never buy another Electrolux product and I would encourage you to avoid them at all costs. They have no interest in customer satisfaction.

Im on my 3rd replacement Electrolux refrigerator. This replacement is an Electrolux French Door refrigerator. It has been seen by two different Electrolux appointed certified repair shops. The problem is the interior casing is melting near the top 2 bulbs. Both repairmen from different repair shops said that they have been seeing this problem, and that some have heated to the point of serious damages. I was told by both Electrolux repairmen, that the problem was irreparable, and reported it as so to Electrolux. Electrolux disagreed with both repair shops. Electrolux continues to try to send a repair shop, to agree to do the repair their way. Electrolux continues to evade the big problem of fire, and continues to be inconsistent with its responses to me. Last week, they said it is absolutely irreparable, and this week, left a message on my machine, that denied the replacement, in lieu of some Epoxy to do a cosmetic repair. What about the high heat from the bulbs? What about the repair shops that deny this resolution? Is this a fire hazard or not? I still have warranty.

I purchased a top of the line French Door refrigerator 7 years ago and have had a number of issues. Bad seals, broken parts, ice maker freezing up and now I am told the fridge will fail soon due to the internal thermal parts. Apparently I have a model that had a KNOWN PROBLEM on these models and similar Frigidaire models from 2011 to 2017!!!! Yes ELECTROLUX KNEW, BUT DID THEY DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT, seems to be a NO. They supposedly did some sort of recall but NOTHING I EVER RECEIVED. It is NOT COVERED ON YOUR HOME INSURANCE WARRANTY, in fact they tell you to CALL ELECTROLUX. So I did and I was on HOLD for 65 minutes, no mention of any sort of call back which many companies now do. I Guess ELECTROLUX WANTS TO MAXIMISE PROFITS!!!!The lady I spoke to KNEW about this issue (Just as the TECHNICIAN that came out KNEW about this issue). She ended up giving me the number for the CORPORATE OFFICE to speak to a SHELBY so I called. Guess what? Its just a number for Electrolux, no Shelby. This is a $2400 refrigerator, it is a piece of junk and Electrolux seems to be worthless. I have one of their freezers too and guess what? I purchased a high end set of kitchen appliances (through Sears Canada) in 2009 - an Electrolux fridge and a top of the line electric range/oven. After 5 years, the fridge literally started to fall apart. The faux aluminum strips on the exterior of the fridge starting falling off and the ice making unit ceased working completely and the inside seal on the door was failing. Sears was very helpful but Electrolux was a complete and utter disaster to deal with. After investing a tremendous amount of time and energy in getting them to step up and deal with their inferior product issues, we were given a nominal credit towards buying another Electrolux fridge. Guess what? Within 9 months, we experienced similar product quality issues and made the decision to get rid of it and replace it with KitchenAid fridge which has been performing flawlessly since day one.Next, the oven stopped working. The burners were not functioning at all. Electrolux herded us over to a local service provider who indicated that this kind of problem was a common theme across the Electrolux high end oven product line. The service technician indicated that he would be unable to isolate the specific problem (we kept getting the e15 code of death). He recommended replacing a component for over $500 but warned us that there was a possibility that this would not necessarily rectify the problem - and if it didnt, we would need to spend a further $1100 to replace a circuit board of some sort. Guess what? The fix didnt work. We contacted Electrolux customer service and after numerous discussions they relented and offered us 20% off, as a sign of good faith, a new one. Really??? Do you actually think that I would buy another one of their products after 3 of them failed inside of 6 years? This is the worst, and I mean worst, product quality issue that I could ever imagine encountering. Never, ever, ever again.

I purchased the wave touch dishwasher ($1200.), the microwave ($600.), and the French door ice maker fridge ($2,999.) since 2009. The dishwasher was replace immediately for leaking. Now it makes a noise while running, where before you never heard it run. We have mold that builds up it, we have to take it apart, use brushes to clean the racks. I think that should be a liability for knowing my dishes are being washed with mold build-up. Disgusting. The ice maker has been replaced so many times I gave up counting. Sad part we heard the same thing, yes, we know that is a malfunction in the design of the ice maker. The ice clumps to the front of the bin, starts making a thumping noise & I have to empty so it will make new ice. Thank goodness we purchased the extended 4 yr warranty. The microwave ($600.) the latch that closes the door broke, so you cant use the thing & we had to tape it shut to keep the door from staying open. My daughter purchased their oven ($1200.) & the electronic board went out on it. Thank goodness they purchased the extended warranty. I would never tell my worst enemy to purchase any Electrolux appliance. I insisted on this product & have been unhappy since. We purchased them before retiring (knowing we would be on a limited income), hoping we would be good for at least 20 yrs, so much for that with these products. Please never buy any of their appliances, you will regret it.

We have had nothing but problems with our Electrolux appliances. This is not just one model, but many different appliances. When we moved into our new house we unfortunately purchased all Electrolux including fridge, stove, dishwasher, popup vent, and over/microwave combo. This was all about three years ago. Since purchasing new appliances, the fridge has needed repair twice, the vent hood fan went out and we replaced it with a different brand (Wolf), the stove and oven have had issues and just recently our dishwasher cooked itself. It made several popping sounds and we smelt electronics burning in the kitchen, then the dishwasher shut down and wont come on again. Its now being replaced with a Bosch dishwasher.Do yourself a favor and AVOID Electrolux and their brands. They make junk. Also be careful as some brands like Kenmore use Electrolux to manufacture their goods. Do your research and stay away. I hope my review will help someone save time and money. We spent about 12K on all these new appliances and after 3 years, we are already in the process of replacing them. Getting the fridge repaired was a major hassle with their repair department. Its going to be easier for us to just purchase new appliances and start clearing our house of Electrolux. Never again Electrolux!!! You have been banned for life from my house and Ive already told hundreds of friends to stay away from your brand.

It is infuriating that a company does not stand behind their product. The interior of my Electrolux refrigerator is falling apart. The plastic supports are cracked and broken, making the drawers sit askew. Freshness of food? I have spoken to customer service twice... no help. When requesting to speak to a supervisor, I was kept on hold for lengthy amount of time only to be told that no supervisor would come to the phone. No supervisor will come to the phone? Customer service?I have been told by numerous appliance retailers that Electrolux appliances are plagued with quality issues. I purchased $10,000 in Electrolux appliances in 2012. Yes, the warranty has expired. But this is NOT acceptable. The interior portion of my refrigerator should be replaced... no questions asked. That is brand support and customer service. Own the fact that there have been ongoing issues, and work to maintain a loyal customer base. That is good business. I am a business owner. I would expect my employees to take better care of my customers. ELECTROLUX should be ashamed! I feel a responsibility to share my feeling with whomever will listen. Its infuriating. You have certainly lost this customer and I feel obligated to spread the word!

Continuing the drama from April 2015. After talking to a channel of people with this company, writing several letters and sending endless photos to the higher ups in this company, I will end my fight with them. I have to continue monthly blow-drying the interior door of the freezer to on freeze the water line and the back of my refrigerator continues to rust because of water leakage in the back inner panels of the body in this unit. I believe that it was defective from day 1 but the drawers are the most flimsy I have ever seen and are completely broken. Stick with GE and Whirlpool. Signing off.

Model EIFLW50LIW front load washer. Purchased June 2014. Had required (certified Electrolux) repairman (due to warranty) out several times within the first 12 months. The harness kept shaking loose and tumbler would go off balance and belt popped off. I had to wait a week or two for them to come out and then had to take off from work each time while they fixed it. The last time, they literally had all the parts on my kitchen floor and I asked them why Electrolux just did not send a new machine from the factory. Wasted 5 hours of my day, two repairmen 5 hours and I had to wait for them to come 10 days which meant going over to my mother-in-laws to do laundry. Now 12 months later the belt popped off again but I noticed that the washer was leaking. It revealed severe rubbing on the plastic which was worn through. This unit never made any rubbing noise, clanking and was not out of balance like the issue previously. I called Electrolux and told them that their certified repairmen obviously did something wrong and now it leaks and the harness shakes loose. All they could do for me is give me a break on parts. If your front load washer has belt or harness issues, demand a new one. Repairmen can make Band-Aid fixes only to a poorly manufactured item.

We purchased the extended warranty and within the first three months we had 2 service calls for major repairs. In both cases the oven overheated and burnt up the food that was in it. A third call was made with another major repair. I wrote letters to Electrolux and the company I made the purchase and requested the appliance be replaced. Nothing was done and as soon as the warranty expired another major problem happened and cost us $550 to repair. We will never recommend Electrolux to family or friends.
