Extend your Warranty! All Fire Sense and Balkene Home products purchased directly from us or from an Authorized Dealer* are covered by a one-year quality guarantee. Extend your warranty for an additional year when you write a review of your item within the first year of ownership (365 days from purchase date). Simply search for your product and click "Write a review." It’s that easy! Extended warranty is not available for private-label products. 

Warranty Policy: All Fire Sense and Balkene Home products are warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Within this period, Balkene Home/Fire Sense will, at its sole option, repair or replace any components which fail in normal use. Such repairs or replacements will be made at no charge to the customer for parts or labor, provided that the customer shall be responsible for any transportation cost. This warranty does not cover failures due to abuse, misuse, accident or unauthorized alterations or repairs. 

*Balkene Home/Well Traveled Living’s (“WTL”) product warranties are limited to goods purchased from Authorized Dealers (A.D.s) only. Certain sellers on Amazon.com and other web sites are not A.D.s and as such, WTL warranty coverage cannot be honored on any products purchased from them. If you have a question concerning whether a seller is an A.D., please contact us at cservice@welltraveled.net before you purchase. 

THE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES CONTAINED HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY LIABILITY ARISING UNDER ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. 

IN NO EVENT SHALL BALKENE HOME/FIRE SENSE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER RESULTING FROM THE USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT OR FROM DEFECTS IN THE PRODUCT. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. 
Balkene Home/Fire Sense retains the exclusive right to repair or replace the product or offer a full refund of the purchase price at its sole discretion. 
SUCH REMEDY SHALL BE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY. 

To obtain warranty service, an original or copy of the sales receipt from the original retailer is required. Online auction confirmations are not accepted for warranty verification, and Fire Sense/Patio Sense will not replace missing components from any package purchased through an online auction. Balkene Home/Fire Sense retains the exclusive right to either repair or replace the unit with a newly over-hauled (NOH) unit or new unit at its sole discretion. Call or email Balkene Home/Fire Sense Customer Service and describe the problem you are experiencing and request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) tracking number. In addition to your original sales receipt, you will need to provide the unit’s serial number (if available), your return shipping address, a daytime telephone number and an e-mail address.

The Fire Sense Outdoor Patio Heater is as easy to use as a camp stove. With the Piezo ignition system, you just press a button to spark and start. A knob allows you to control the heat dial down for lower heat, or dial up for a stronger blast. It uses a standard propane tank, just like you’d use for an outdoor grill. Depending on how high you run the heater, a full tank should provide eight to ten hours of heat.

I just received this product as a 30 year anniversary gift from my employer. The Patio Heater arrived in a very intimidating box with lots of pieces-parts to assemble. The parts were organized very neatly and the assembly instructions accurately identified each component included in box. One sign of a quality product is when all the parts fit together just as described in the instructions. With this heater all of the parts fit together very cleanly; all of the holes lined up as expected. This looks like a quality product that will last for years to come.

I bought this for camping trips for times when we want a quick fire but don't want to put in the work of starting up a wood fire, like first thing in the morning while enjoying coffee. I was very skeptical, but very pleasantly surprised how awesome this thing is! It has a nice flame and puts off plenty of heat.

We ordered this fire pit as a Father's Day gift for my husband. It has far exceeded our expectations. It's beautiful, sturdy, well built and easy to assemble. My adult daughter was able to put it together unassisted in under 45 minutes. When the fire pit is not lit, it can easily be converted into a cocktail table by inserting the removable lid. Plenty of space for beverages and snacks. The fire pit provides enough heat to warm a chilly night, and the glow from the fire creates a beautiful ambience. The custom cover protects the unit from the elements. We are very pleased with our purchase, and highly recommend this fire pit.
