La máquina no se pone en marcha
Algunos programas ya no se pueden poner en marcha y la luz de control del programa respectivo tampoco se enciende
Causa:
No hay una causa evidente.
Solución:
Antes de iniciar un nuevo programa, apague primero la secadora y vuelva a encenderla.
Seleccione un programa que ya no pueda iniciarse.
Si el programa sigue sin poder iniciarse, hay un fallo. Póngase en contacto con el servicio técnico de Miele.
Sólo algunos programas ya no se inician. Seleccione entretanto un programa que pueda iniciarse.
El aparato no se inicia
Causa 1:
El aparato no está encendido.
Solución 1:
Compruebe si el enchufe está insertado y el aparato está encendido. Compruebe también si el fusible se ha disparado.
Causa 2:
La puerta del aparato no está cerrada.
Solución 2:
Cierre la puerta del aparato.
Para el secador solar (T 8881 S):
Causa 3:
La secadora no es compatible con el sistema de calefacción.
Solución 3:
No es necesaria ninguna solución.
Idicadores
El botón 'Start/Stop' parpadea lentamente y la pantalla está en blanco
Causa:
La secadora está en modo de espera.
Solución:
No hay ningún problema con el aparato. No es necesario remediarlo.
Pulse cualquier botón para salir del modo de espera. Para más información, consulte los ajustes/opciones programables 'Standby' en las instrucciones de funcionamiento.
3 LEDs se encienden/parpadean
Causa:
Se ha cortado la alimentación durante un programa en marcha.
Solución:
Reiniciar el programa.
Olor
La secadora tiene un olor extraño o huele a goma
Causa:
Esto es normal con una secadora nueva.
Remedio:
Después de unos cuantos ciclos de secado, el olor se reducirá.
La secadora o la ropa tienen un olor desagradable
Causa 1:
Los olores desagradables pueden ser causados por dejar la ropa húmeda en la máquina durante demasiado tiempo.
Solución 1:
Debido a que durante el proceso de secado el aparato toma constantemente aire fresco y lo expulsa al exterior, los olores se reducirán automáticamente.
En el caso de las secadoras de condensación, el intercambiador de calor y los filtros también deben limpiarse, de acuerdo con las instrucciones de funcionamiento.
Colocar un pañuelo o un paño de secado rociado con un poco de perfume o similar en el tambor con la ropa que debe secarse puede ser un remedio rápido.
Causa 2:
Una dosis insuficiente de detergente también puede causar olores desagradables.
Remedio 2:
Siga las instrucciones de dosificación del fabricante que figuran en el envase.

I do really love this dryer. We bought the Miele : W3033 24 Front Load Washer as well. The fact you can put it anywhere in the house is remarkable. We did hook it up to the washer drain, because the water reservoir fills up quickly. After that no problems. We have been using it for almost a year now and we really love it. It is not a BIG dryer. If you plan on doing a weeks worth of laundry at once you will not love this unit. I like to do mine a little each day to keep it manageable and this is perfect. It is right in our bathroom, so we take all the clothes from the day (or two) and put them right in that washer. It would be awesome for apartment dwellers or if you don't have a lot of room. The price tag is heavy but I feel like in this case you get what you pay for. I would buy them again for sure.
I recently moved to a new house where venting the dryer is not possible. I explored a number of options including using something called a lint trap, but decided on a condensing dryer. Once this decision was made, the next decision was which dryer to purchase. I looked at the reviews of the popular condensing dryers on the market, and found that the Miele was the only one which received consistently great reviews. I purchased the Miele washer and dryer with the stacking option. The cost for both units together with the installation fees came to a little more than $4,400. I washed and dried six loads the first day I received the units. The washer is super quiet and smooth. The same is true with the dryer. The spin cycle on the washer is fantastic. The clothes came out of the washer so dry that I didn't think there was much work left for the dryer. It took more than an hour for the dryer to finish processing one load of wash. The sensor inside the dryer did a great job of making sure the wash was dry. The room where the washer/dryer is located remained cool, there was little or no lint, and the reservoir for the excess water was dry. The cost of the washer and dryer is very high, but both units are fantastic.
I too have one of these - had it for more than a year ...worst drier I’ve ever had. Bought it as wanted it plumbed to drain water out our home. This week after ‘drying’ 4 towels for more than 8 hours, they were still wet. I came online to see if If I was going f something wrong and ... saw the above ‘ditto’ review. Mark... did you find out anything useful?
It made my clothes really really dry! I couldn't be happier. If you think you would like dry clothes this is something you should really consider.
Condenser dryers take longer than vented to dry and spit out warm air. Do your homework before dropping $1500 on a dryer then complaining. I've had mine for a year and it's super. Dries clothes to the correct temp and doesn't burn anything. Only maintenance is running the coils under water twice a year. Plus it's great in the winter as it puts out warm air.
