John Wood Water Heater Warranty

John Wood water heaters come with a limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship for a certain period of time. The specific terms of the warranty depend on the model and size of the water heater, as well as the location where it was purchased.

For example, many John Wood water heaters come with a 6-year limited warranty for the tank and a 1-year limited warranty for the parts. This means that the tank is covered for defects for 6 years from the date of purchase, and the parts are covered for defects for 1 year from the date of purchase.

It is important to note that the John Wood water heater warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, abuse, or neglect. It also does not cover the cost of labor or other expenses associated with the repair or replacement of the water heater.

To obtain warranty service, you will need to provide proof of purchase and contact a John Wood authorized service provider. They will assess the issue and determine whether it is covered under the warranty. If it is, they will repair or replace the water heater as necessary at no cost to you.

For more information about the John Wood water heater warranty, you can consult the owner's manual for your specific model or contact the manufacturer directly.

just installed a couple of weeks ago, everything seems to be working great. I started on the high setting but it was to hot so now it's set on low which it great, way more efficient that my 20 yr old one. When you light the pilot the first time you need to look upwards through the glass window to see that it's lit.

John Wood manufacturer is a Canadian company that is a subsidiary of GSW, acquired by AO Smith in 2006. It offers a wide variety of water heaters for any household, budget, installation requirements and house type, and is sold mainly in Canada. If looking for an affordable unit which comes with average energy efficiency, you can get one for a few hundred dollars. If you want the top of the line model, condensing tankless is what you should go for, or if you prefer traditional, tank-type Polaris or Envirosense is the right pick, but be ready to pay for the quality.
