The people at the Viking dealer were friendly and there were issues that they took care of. Altogether, they were good and shipping was great. They sent the refrigerator out quickly. I’m having a little problem with it at the moment though. The temperature is not setting the right way for some reason. It’s not matching what it says on the display. While I like the simplicity of it since I have too many gadgets, I would like to see a feature to dim the lights because they are too bright on the refrigerator. But I like the new shelving system which we did in heavy glass and also the drawers that are metal. Those are good features. I like them much better because they broke on my old refrigerators. I’ve been in the restaurant business and I’ve had Viking in my home all along. The experience with Viking is good. It’s better than I expected.

We were doing a complete remodel of our kitchen, so I was looking at all the appliances for the kitchen. Ive done remodels of kitchens for five or six years and Ive always used Sub-Zero but we decided to try how Viking would work out. We liked the look, the overall aesthetics, and quality of it and the pricing was a big thing, too. There seemed to be a good overall package deal with the broad suite of Viking appliances. What we ended up doing was our entire kitchen is all Viking appliances. The refrigerator has been good so far. The lighting and design are good and I like the easy closing of drawers which is kind of nice. Also, the ability of not to have to do the cleaning of the vents and things was an important feature.

Up until it broke, I was quite happy with my Viking refrigerator. But it broke in November (the evaporator failed - still under warranty). A service company came, diagnosed the problem and ordered the part December 5. Today it is March 10. In February the appliance repair company called Viking and they were told the part would come in February 26 and that it would be sent out by overnight air when it arrived. February 26 came and went. No word.Yesterday I called Viking and spoke to a customer service rep who took my info and told me someone would call me back. No one called. Today I called and spoke to a different customer service rep and was told that there is no expected arrival time of these parts to the Viking factory. I was told some people are waiting 6 months or a year. Im sorry but I call BS on that.Heres the thing: This is a popular model of refrigerator. Clearly they must be getting these parts at the factory and installing them in new product to be sold while ignoring current customers like me. Not only is this bad business, I believe it is dishonest when they tell me that none of these parts have come in. Im kind of an in internet guy. This is the first review of this situation that I have left. There will be more. Viking is making a mistake. If they rectify it I will come back and modify this review. But dont hold your breath. And if you want your food cold, definitely consider what might happen if your Viking refrigerator stops working.

I went into a model home and compared Viking Refrigerators to Wolf and some other ones. Vikings quality and price were a little bit better so I decided to give it a try. I like the two lower drawers, one for the refrigeration and one for the freezer. However, it takes longer for it to make ice. We also had to get a part replaced because we had some leaking from the freezer. But, we were able to get a repair guy out to handle it during the warranty period. Other than that, everything is fine.

I heard through a friend that Viking was one of the top tier appliance manufacturers. I looked at pricing versus quality. Vikings was very comparable. I also looked at the name brand and features that were offered. Viking was the way to go. I like that the refrigerator is counter-depth. It really blends in the look with the appearance in my kitchen. It looks like its built in. Its definitely an upgrade to what I had before. You can tell that the refrigerator is high quality. The interactions with the Viking dealer was good, but when they delivered the dishwasher it was damaged. They made good and replaced it with a brand new one though. Id tell friends that Im impressed with Viking and that it definitely is the right way to go.

Viking was what the builder was providing as appliances, so we went ahead and bought the Viking fridge to match. The installers didn’t put the basket straight in the freezer so I had to figure that out. I had to go to one of the other houses and look at their fridge to see how to do it. The builder also gave me the wrong fridge. It’s the one with the water feature inside. They gave me an upgrade but we liked to have cold water coming out of our fridge, so that’s the only thing we miss. Other than that it’s been great. I love the freezer in the bottom and the double door where I could put big stuff in. That’s what Ive always wanted. Plus the crisper is really good. Its a very reliable product.

Initially, we had a difficulty with baking, and then the temperature just cut off. It ended up taking an hour and a half to bake one sheet of cookies after it had warmed up for a good 20 and then 40 minutes. It took a long time. Someone came out, and he said nothing was wrong with and it hasnt done it since. But so far, so good.I live in an area that is lower population. We dont have as many service people to service. Initially, I was told I would have to wait a month to a month and a half for someone to come out and look at it. I pleaded with the gal on the phone. “Well, it’s just before Christmas, and I have a four-year old. And were looking forward to baking.” Lo and behold, someone had availability in their schedule. She called me right away and said, “I can get you in right away. Are you available?” I said, “Of course, I am.” I was disappointed in that. I said, “Gosh, if I had any future issues, it would be a bummer to have to wait that long for service.”In addition, I can’t get a pizza pan to go all the way in. Its not the depth of the oven. It just needs to be an inch and a half further in depth, and then a regular pizza pan could fit in. That was shocking to me. We ran into it on the first day of our move. We had the movers here and I thought, “Oh, Ill just pick up pizzas and cook them in the oven.” Because we live a ways out from any pizza place. I had to cut all the pizzas in order for them to fit into the oven, which is a pain in the neck. And then anytime I go to fix a pizza, I cant use the basic pizza pan, which is a bummer. Other than that, Ive enjoyed using the stove top, and the oven has been great since. Ive been happy.

The Viking Pro dishwasher we had was recalled because the heater would start fires, apparently about 20 of them! So they sent a tech to fix it - that took 3 months! So we washed dishes by hand. Then after they supposedly fixed the dishwasher it would give error codes like flooding, but it was not doing that it just would stop mid cycle - sometimes. So they came again after much complaining and could not fix it and suggested it MIGHT be a control board problem. Even though when they ran diagnostics there was nothing found to be broken. It was clear to me that fixing the heater problem caused the machine to randomly stop, yet they refused to fix it. Viking wanted to charge me for a new controller board so adding $400 to a unit I already do not trust. Clearly if it worked before they took it apart and replaced the wiring harness and heater then something they did during the repair broke something else!

Weve invested on a full line of Viking appliances in our renovated kitchen a few years ago: refrigerator, stove, oven and microwave. We had to replace the microwave because it was not heating food. Now, the refrigerator is not cooling enough. We called Pacific Sales. We called Viking. They both referred to Appliance Masters, technicians authorized and specialized Viking appliances. Three technicians have come out five (5) times: Changed the fan, changed the board, checked the vent, checked the thermostat, calibrated the temperature. The problem has not been resolved yet. Our kids have gotten sick from eating food going bad because the refrigerator is not cold enough. VIKING IS HIGH END BRAND, EXPENSIVE PRICE TAG WITH POOR POOR QUALITY.

This house has a built-in Viking refrigerator and on the right is the all-freezer. The refrigerator is loud and the compressor was constantly running so the previous owner of this home had to have it replaced under warranty in 2016, which was only a year after he bought it. When we purchased the house in August 2017, and just before we closed escrow, he had to call Viking to get service because the temperature of the refrigerator was not keeping cold and there was a leak in the coil. The appliance is relatively new and that worries me but so far, the refrigerators been keeping cold so I’m thankful for that. But I am surprised at the compressor noise and we live in a development where the builder got Viking for all the units. I looked at several units when I was purchasing and I noticed the same noise in every kitchen because the floor plans are similar. It’s quite loud and it’s not infrequent. I even talked to the owner in one of the homes and she had changed out the Viking for a Wolf refrigerator. She said she did it because the Viking was so loud. Also, at first I was worried that there was a problem, but I looked at the freezer temperature and it’s constant at what it should be used. It just runs hard and it’s very sad to me because I’m going to end up having to replace it at some point. The refrigerators features are reasonable, but for that kind of investment, I would never buy one of this. I have an experience with a built-in Thermador and that has superior quality compared to this Viking.

Theres a small bracket thats built in to keep the door from opening all the way. But that broke and they told me that it was common breakage. It probably could be made out of some better materials so it wouldnt break. Other than that, the customer service was good.

I was deciding on getting either a Sub-Zero or a Viking refrigerator. But I wanted to get a Viking range so I stuck with Viking all around. Somebody who was an appliance specialist that I had worked with in the past arranged the purchase for me then I had it installed. Unfortunately, the hose underneath it connected to the solenoid leaked and I had some kind of serious floor damage on my wood floor. I left a fan on for three weeks and it finally started to come down a little bit, but I still have something wavy on it. It was quite disappointing because you spend so much money on something like that and you expect it to be perfect. But when I told Viking that I needed someone urgently because the refrigerator was leaking, they sent somebody immediately and that guy got out there that same day which was great. So overall, my experience with Viking was very good and hopefully, the refrigerator will live up to its reputation.

I read the review from C of Cleveland, OH Nov. 21, 2019 and decided to provide my own feedback. We installed a Viking Double Oven over 10 years ago and it stopped working correctly after 3 or 4 years. We havent been able to use the lower oven for over 3 or 4 years. It keeps giving a cooling error, then stops working. The Birmingham Viking certified service people have replaced several parts including the control panel. Now Viking is trying to say that it was installed incorrectly which is total baloney! Just an excuse from Viking to get rid of us. We made SURE the contractor and cabinet builder followed the specs when it was installed and the installation was approved by the Viking Dealer. So this $6,500 unit can’t be repaired? Spend a third of the price and get the same quality with another cheaper brand!

We built a new home and bought a Viking refrigerator floor model through a dealer. I had a built-in before, and I was happy with it, so I went with that particular refrigerator. I like the built-in because it’s not deep and things don’t get lost in the back of the refrigerator. I love my Viking refrigerator, but I’ve had eight or nine service calls on it and the people who came and serviced it have been excellent. When the refrigerator arrived, there was an issue with water coming out of the bottom of the door, and they replaced that, and then it wouldn’t make ice or water, so they changed out a harness, the water pump and the icemaker. It makes ice, but after they put in the new icemaker, the lever stops when the ice fills up, so a part was ordered and the people are coming this week to replace that. The dealer has been absolutely awesome on service and responsiveness and their staff has come out and dealt with every single problem I’ve had. However, I bought an eight-burner gas range through Pacific Kitchen & Home and I would not purchase through them again. When the range was delivered, the door needed adjustment and it’s been a nightmare to get somebody to come out through Pacific Kitchen to service it. I had to reach out to Viking directly to get any kind of service and they’re coming out this week as well. Hopefully, once everything is all in good working order, it’ll be well worth it. I also have a Viking dishwasher, which is fabulous and Im very happy with it.

The drawers are self-closing and the tracks on two of them were damaged. One of the dairy compartments was damaged as well. Im waiting for them to replace those but it has been more than a month now. The current situation with Viking is an oven relay that has been backordered for over six weeks. Considering the poor quality of Viking appliances, their parts department should be overstocked. I was in real estate for some time. I’m into remodeling and I love interior design, so I’m aware of Viking Refrigeration. We just redid our entire kitchen and put all new Viking appliances, everything from oven to a huge cooktop to the refrigerator, downdraft, the dishwasher, and I am not overly pleased with the refrigerator. I called Viking directly and they sent somebody out and repaired a couple of the things that were wrong with the refrigerator. But the main problem that I still have, which is something that I need to make another phone call on, is the ice maker. The refrigerator is a French door with an under mount freezer and when I pull open the freezer door, the little metal handle that comes down to regulate when the ice maker is on and off almost rakes the ice. And so, it all falls out through the back of the freezer. I have to literally army crawl and break my arm to get my hands at the back to clear out the ice that’s fallen at the back on the floor of the freezer or else the freezer door does not close properly. I wonder how many tens of thousands of dollars did I spend on all those appliances. I should have gone back to my GE Profile. I’ve been really disappointed.

Vikings reputation is certainly solid, and from looking at their reputation and their reviews, I thought that they might be the best one. I bought a Viking range from Nebraska Furniture Mart in Des Moines, Iowa six months ago. But it took a while before we got it as we waited for the installation. The installers did a good job though. We also had an issue with the unit but that was because we didnt read the directions as well as we shouldve had. We didnt clean the unit up first and we had a smelly oven. But they sorted it out for us and our interaction with the customer service team was good. I have purchased 2 Viking wall ovens within the past 12 years, one at a discounted rate because my first purchase with them only lasted five years with many, many repairs in between. First of all their hinges on the door break very easily, the door to the oven is very heavy and can withstand constant use. Once the hinges break, the oven door cannot seal properly and therefore the oven will not run. The broiler coils burn out very fast. The oven cooks well over temperature, so you can trust the exact temperatures. The lettering on the wall peels off very quickly. I did not use any chemicals on it and I always used a soft rag with water to try and clean it. The stove top I purchased as well and that is also in bad shape. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

I love to cook. My next-door neighbor used to be a head chef for a French restaurant in New York City and she has a Viking. So I was looking at getting one. At the time, I was also looking at Wolf and an Italian stove. But the guy at the Appliances Connection down in New Jersey talked me into buying the Viking. I heard that Viking had some issues back and he convinced me that those issues had been resolved. So I believed him and I bought it. But Ive been frustrated a little bit because it came not working. The small stove would ignite but it would go out and it would keep trying to ignite over and over again. I called Viking and I registered it, but she told me they didnt have anyone who repairs it in our area. I told her my next-door neighbor has a stove and that Id ask her. But the woman said no and never followed through with getting someone to repair it.However, the people I bought this stove from, Appliances Connection, stepped up and found a repairman. They organized the repair and now it is fixed. Im very happy. But someone needs to talk to Vikings service department rep. Other than that, the quality of my Viking range is fantastic and the cooking capacity is awesome. I would recommend it.

We own a 5-Series Viking Dual Fuel Range which we purchased approximately slightly more than three years ago. (Largely on the strength of its so-called superior warranty). We are by no means heavy users of this appliance. Recently the electronic control unit failed, and rendered the stove useless with the exception of standard Bake at 350. The Service Dept told us its out of warranty, and the technician wanted a kings ransom to repair out of warranty. After all we read, wed hoped the new ownership would have turned this around, or at least stood behind their product. Neither has happened. This is so disappointing. We have purchased a genuine Pro-style Range with our local Dealers sound advice. This three year old piece of garbage is headed to the dump next week. I bought a fridge and dishwasher back in 2011. The fridge was fine, however, the dishwasher was just dreadful. After going through several channels, a Viking rep told me to pull it out and sell it. Eventually, the store where I bought it ended up replacing it. I then opted for a Miele dishwasher. In June 2013, I decided to try again with Viking. I ordered a range top, range hood with fan, and warming drawer. The range top had to be replaced as it arrived very badly scratched and dented. It was yet another ordeal to get it replaced. The warming drawer is sitting all apart on my living room floor. Ive never had the chance to use it because the cabinet rubs against the drawer and screeches metal to metal when trying to use it.The Viking rep sent out a panel to be screwed into the base of the drawer to keep it flat but that did not work. Now we have another part ordered but Viking has the flippant attitude of telling us they have no idea when the part will arrive. In order to complete the remodel of my kitchen I needed double ovens and a microwave. I chose Jenn Air, and could not be happier with their products. Also, their customer service is outstanding. Viking is definitely the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is just horrendous.

I always wanted Viking appliances. I love to cook, so it is a brand that was instilled in me that is quality and a professional kitchen. Initially, I should have looked. I went to Best Buy to look at them, but I ordered these online, and I never really tested them out. I like certain things that I bought, but there were certain things I don’t like. I like the refrigerator because it’s large. But I’ve seen others that the inside interiors are better made, more stylish, and the placement of the shelves are a lot more intuitive than the Viking. The doors and the bins are fine. It’s just the placement of them is not as functional as we thought it would be. We like the soft-close doors but we didn’t expect it to be so small inside being a 48-inch. We thought it’d be a lot larger because we had other appliances like LG or Samsung, and those were standard-sized, and they seemed to have more space. I like the Viking because of the aesthetics. It’s a beautiful refrigerator. But in terms of functionality, it’s just plain-Jane. It’s a $10,000 fridge so I was expecting more. It’s a 48-inch refrigerator, and its freezer is tiny, unfortunately.

How can it be? We thought made in America, we would get great quality. What a disappointment. The kitchen was remodeled 5 years ago. This past month, we had problems with both Viking products, the Viking range VGIC3676BS and the refrigerator. We are now out of Viking warranty. The NSI insurance for these products is a nightmare to deal with - a waste of money. They give you the runaround. The Viking range oven just stopped working, we think it is the igniter. It does not matter that when you call Mississippi, they speak to you with their Southern charm, you still have an expensive appliance that simply does not work! No one cares, not at all, because it is not happening to them! The fact that we bought expensive products does not matter in todays world. Anyone recalls the days when we had an oven that lasted 30 years? We are so disgusted with Viking. We regret spending the money for something that obviously was made with planned obsolescence in mind. Wish there was a way we could warn people about this company. I would like to put signs on retailer stores, buyer beware.

Last night our Viking oven decided to self ignite, which resulted in a 911 call (electrical fire). The oven was off, and had we not been in the house, or in bed, then the situation could have been much more serious. I contacted Viking directly (this morning) to report the incident, but I am not entirely convinced that Viking is really that concerned - in fact the response was somewhat casual. They were more concerned about whether the warranty was valid.A colleague of mine had a similar issue a few weeks ago - oven (a Viking) self ignited. Again, this resulted in a 911 call. I got the impression that Viking arent too concerned, however, I would like to use this review as a warning to other Viking users to check your oven - make sure you know how to isolate the gas and power to the appliance - make sure your smoke detectors are working - make sure you have a fire extinguisher and is rated for an electrical fire!

We were building a home three years ago, and I looked up about Viking, Wolf and other ranges and decided to get a Viking. I thought it was a top-of-the-line product and I liked the sleek look of it compared to Wolf. Im now on my second Viking since the one that was initially put into my home did not heat properly and it did not cook right since the day it was installed. So eventually, the door wouldnt close completely and that was under some recall type of thing. Viking ended up replacing the entire unit. However, there is only one repair service here in Columbus that deals with Viking as far as I know. I keep being told thats because Viking is either charging too much money and/or wont supply the parts and I would love to see some more competition rather than just one repair service that I have to call and pay their prices to repair a Viking product. I have a lot of friends that have Viking, and we all have to use the same people to repair the products.

We purchased Viking D2 line (french door refrigerator, double wall oven, cooktop and dishwasher) for our new home and we moved in in February 2013. We have had nothing but problems with these products. We reported the microwave in 2014 to the authorized dealer that we purchased from. The front fascia was coming off every time we opened the door. After over a year of dealing with Viking representative, he came out and glued the door back on. He glued it incorrectly and now the buttons are protruding into the sockets and the front panel is still buckling on the front. Since we did not have good luck with getting the microwave serviced, I have tried dealing with Viking directly on the rest of the products. Waste of time. Got a form letter response. The refrigerator bins have all broken, the ice maker gets plugged up regularly and doesnt make ice, the computer on the front panel of the refrigerator doesnt work and, consequently, the refrigerator freezes all of our fresh vegetables. The cooktop randomly doesnt heat, the top oven does not retain its temperature when there is more than one item in it, the dishwasher does not dry the dishes and doesnt clean them very well either. You have to practically wash them going in and then dry each and every one coming out.The Viking representative in my area is NOT customer service friendly and is difficult to work with. I have written two letters to Viking, contacted the place we purchased the appliances from multiple times and have gotten no satisfactory response. Now all of our products are out of warranty and no one wants to address the issues. I guess they dont care that I will NEVER purchase Viking products again. EVER. And, I am making it my mission to tell everyone I know not to waste money buying products from this supposed high-end products company. I purchased Viking thinking that paying extra for an American made product was important and that they would stand behind their products. Lesson learned.

We like Vikings brand and the way it looks in the kitchen. The refrigerator is great. All the controls are on the left side of the door, and its easy to program everything else. Its wide so its easy access in and out. I like the different drawers and the accessibility to the refrigeration part. Plus, you can adjust the temperature and humidity. The wide shelf space also makes it very convenient. Overall, it’s been easy, manageable, and it sits perfectly in our kitchen.

My stove is really bad and the lights go off on the refrigerator. Sometimes the freezer randomly gets soaked. I have to put everything out, turn off the refrigerator then restart again. At one time, somebody came and fixed the problem. The guy was good. He was trying his best but I dont want to spend too much time every time waiting for them to come.

We purchased a Viking Range and Microwave 5 years ago and we believed it would be a wise choice but it was anything but. The quality was poor. The oven door never closed right and the oven light stayed on all the time. And after many complaints we finally had to have service to change the hinges that never worked right. The bill for that was $600 and the electric oven takes way too long to heat up and the thermostat had to be changed twice. The microwave just failed and that is costing $400 to fix. I will never recommend Viking or the dealer Pacific Sales in So Cal to anyone, dont waste your money on Viking. They are not the company of the past and the quality and durability is no longer there, as for Pacific Sales after they take your money they are no longer interested in satisfying their customers needs. Frankly they suck at service and stand behind what they sell...

It took a month for us to figure out that there was something wrong with the stove and then realized that it wasnt closing properly and that the hinges are broken. It took about six weeks after we notified them that there was something wrong. They came, repaired it and its working perfectly. It works as it was supposed to. Its really fast, efficient and beautiful to look at. The quality is absolutely perfect.

My wife really likes the way the oven works. We feel very good about the overall quality of the product as well as its cost. But one thing that my wife is missing that was in the other stove is the temperature indicator in the oven. When a certain temperature comes up, the preheat light goes off, but she is used to seeing what the internal temperature is. All in all, though, I’d absolutely recommend the Viking range.

I like to cook a lot. The first time we were making tamales on our Viking Range, the corner of the stainless steel thing got burnt. I told Viking and they replaced it. But now, they tell not to put the flame too high. Plus, when my two little girls bake, they sometimes burn their stuff. This is because they put 350 on our Vikings oven and it gets to 475. Also, when were doing cupcakes, the fan that turns on pushes the cupcake on the side so theyre not evenly round. My little girls miss our old range. We paid a lot of money for our Viking so I expected it to be good. Im not so happy with it. Id rather go to Home Depot and buy something there at a fraction of the price.

The reason why I purchased the six pieces is because it all says Viking professional, but when those six pieces were delivered, one of them doesn’t say Viking professional, which is different than what I saw on the website. Its not something that Id expect because I especially selected the model that says professional. Nevertheless the Viking range is of high quality. I chose a Wolf range and they had a part problem and couldnt get the range in in time. So, my second choice was Viking. The oven is great but the burners are hard to regulate and I don’t like them. I had somebody from one of Vikings vendors come in to look at it and make sure it was operating correctly, and it wasnt completely operating well. They fixed it. I still am not completely satisfied though. The deal was I wanted a different range to begin with, and somehow, this one arrived. I was moving into a new house, so I had to have a range to get a certificate of occupancy. So, I ended up keeping it. But my struggle with it is I can never get the burners to go low enough just to simmer. Im constantly playing with them and its irritating.

I heard about Viking Ranges online and from friends that had it. I liked the name, the look and the feel. There’s a lot of good parts, and as far as the performance, the heating elements of it, especially the oven, its very good. It heats up really fast and I really like the feature. However, the main issue I have with the range I bought is the door being so heavy. It has different panels and then those panels are latched to each other. I’ve been having issues with the door not latching all the way because it’s so heavy that it’s coming apart. And since the door doesn’t close all the way, now the heat is escaping. I had a technician come out here twice already who tried to repair that and rescue that back in there, but now it’s the same issue happening. They won’t replace the door. I’ve called everywhere and nobody gave me a satisfactory solution. At first I called from the retailer I bought it from. It was right at the end of the warranty period. So the first time they came out here, it was still under warranty. They repaired it and no charge. And then, six to eight months later the same thing happened again and the guy came out here again. So, he wrote it up and apparently they didn’t want to replace the door. They just repaired it. So, we’re having the same problem. And then I tried to call Viking directly and then I had under the warranty extended warranty go to waste. If you pay a lot for something you have high expectation and high quality, but it doesn’t seem like it. And then we call and don’t get the resolution that we expected. For that reason, I would never buy a Viking again.

However, Im not satisfied with them because of the issues that were having and theyre coming tomorrow to fix them. The drain at the bottom of the refrigerator doesn’t drain correctly so it fills up with water inside below the meat compartment and sometimes it runs onto the floor. On the freezer, were having an issue with the icemaker. The service was the only contact I had with them. Our conversation went fine but the only problem was that Im in a rural area. But I liked the way the Viking French door refrigerator looks, the layout, and the fact that it fit in the slot. The dealer has been excellent but they only delivered to the garage and they dont do the installation for liability reasons, at least from Mount Vernon location. So I had to hire someone to install the fridge. One issue that I find that in the refrigerator section is if Ive got lettuce or something near the back, the fridge will freeze it. When I did my home over, I put in two huge Sub-Zeros, two huge, nice Vikings, Viking microwaves and everything. I was very happy except one of my Viking ovens was having issues from the beginning. I ended up having to put a few thousand dollars into it. I almost had a fire issue and it was just time to go. I wanted a new range. My husband said that they’re expensive and he’d get it for me. When it was my birthday, he asked me if I wanted a range or jewelry. I got a Viking range. The first time I turned it on, the convection broiler wasn’t working. Every time I turned the oven on, it sounded like there was a train in the house for two hours while the stuff was cooking. It was just this loud, loud noise. I called right away for service. They sent someone down and he said he was gonna change a part. I told him I was not ready to change any parts. The last time I started changing parts, the oven broke on me. If I bought a refurbished piece, I have no problem for changing parts, but when I bought a brand new piece, I don’t wanna have to start dealing right away with parts that are changing. It was just not fair.He started telling me, “Yeah, whatever.” When they came down again for service, he told me three new parts have to be changed. I called the company where I bought the stove from and told them, I don’t want this range. And if it means paying more and getting a different model, I would like to do that. First they started telling me, “Maybe don’t take a Viking.” I said, “Yeah, but my other appliances are Viking. I want it to match. I’m ready to pay extra to get a higher model. I don’t care, but I don’t want this piece in my home. It’s causing problems. It could cause a fire. I don’t want it.”I could barely walk as I just had a knee replacement. And this is what I’m doing in order to recover. I’m worrying that if the thing goes up in flames, I won’t be able to get out of my house. And altogether, I’m so pissed because this was my gift. I would’ve bought a refurbished piece. I put a brand new piece from day one. I called them before 30 days. I want it out and I want a new piece in my home. Even the people I bought it from at Drimmers said, “We’re calling, and we understand, and we see that you have bought, in the past, Vikings. We understand that you’re not trying anything. Let them take it back.” They were calling for me also and were not getting through to anyone. Vikings didn’t call them back.I called Viking directly. They asked me why was I calling and not the person I bought it from. I said, “Because when they called, you guys told them that there’s nothing you could do. What does that mean, there’s nothing you could do? I bought a brand new piece.” I told them I would like to speak to the manager directly. They said she was not in and someone would call me back within the next 48 hours. I did not receive a call back even. I had to call back again to find out what was going on. Before I purchased my piece now, I would’ve recommended them, and that’s why I was purchasing it again. But right now, I wouldn’t recommend it just because I don’t know if I would want any of my friends to go through what I’m going through now. I’m very, very upset. Im very dissatisfied.

Viking 36 inch convection range. I prefer gas but we dont have that option, so I went with the electric convection model. I chose Viking because of their reputation. I am not a fan of this range. The 36 inch range has four burners with the smallest burners in the front. The right side burners can be used as a single cooking zone, but the heat isnt consistent. All of the burners adjust the temperature throughout cooking which I suppose is a good feature unless youre trying to boil water. The oven is noisy even without the convection. The oven is self cleaning but it takes 8 hours to go through the cycle! Make sure your installer is familiar with Viking. Ours was not. He was there all day trying to get the range installed, and we had to have a technician back immediately to make adjustments. The range is nothing special for the money. It isnt cheap or cheap looking, but I have had much less expensive ranges that I liked better than this one. I find this range very frustrating to work with. The 36 inch, ceramic top convection model ran about $5000. Its self cleaning, assuming you have the 8 hours needed. The middle rack in the oven glides beautifully which avoids spilling of quiches, souffles, etc. The features I find the least appealing are the ceramic top and the tiny burners in the front. The ceramic is impossible to keep clean and the small burners dont heat the pan evenly. Also, the knobs dont lock into place, so you constantly have to check the settings. The burners self regulate, so the burner will reduce the heat throughout cooking. This becomes very frustrating if you are trying to boil water. Gas is probably more consistent. The oven seems small. The racks do not cook evenly, so you cant use all three simultaneously. I cant tell any difference between convection and non-convection cooking except convection is louder.

We initially looked at different models and ended up getting a better deal with Viking. Everything we bought came in with the package, which was nice. The dealer tried to work with us to get the best deal. The conventional oven in the gas top works great as well as the broiler, but unfortunately, the convection part of the oven doesnt work so weve had to put in a service call for it. Its a little disappointing since its brand new and thats an issue. Additionally, since that supplier is out of state, we took a couple of days to find out who could supply the Viking range. I had to call them back and then they gave me the name of the supplier, then the supplier took a day or two just to have them call me back. Luckily it was close to the area that we were, but the rep was getting calls from people from New York and other states so not too many people service them. Perhaps like many others that purchase Viking appliances, my wife and I were enamored with the design, size and look of the Viking refrigerator. We spent close to $20,000 and purchased a 36 refrigerator with a separate 30 freezer to go beside it. Looking at our kitchen you see nearly five feet of fridge/freezer. It looks amazing. Stupidly, this was the reason we bought the brand. My neighbor has a similar set-up and he told us over and over again not to invest in Viking. He swore it would be a mistake. My attitude was it wont happen to us. Was I wrong.Within one year, back in 2018 (pre-Covid; so no excuses yet about shipping issues/health issues/work shortage issues), the refrigerator stopped working altogether. Everything inside was ruined. The refrigerator was hot. It would not cool anything. I called Viking and it took 3 days to get a repairman to our home. Three days of no food. Then of course the part had to ordered. This took another 2 weeks. The part arrived and within another week it was installed. One month of no working refrigerator. I asked for a loaner... nope. I asked for a replacement... nope. I asked for a food stipend... nope. I asked to reimbursed for the ruined food... nope. After the month delay, it was noted that the refrigerator was beyond repair and needed to be replaced. This took another month for the new refrigerator to arrive. A $12,500 refrigerator that we could not use for two months. Now check this out; within a month or two of the new refrigerator being installed, my 7 year old son opened the fridge to get something. He pulled the door and as he pulled his foot was in the way and the door punctured his foot. He required 7 stitches. Our family wrote it off as the craziest accident ever. But... within another month or so, the door was not closing properly. This was a brand new refrigerator and the door would not close right. The magnet would not catch and the door was essentially always open. Viking sent a repair guy. He could not figure it out. He kept stating that the hinges were unlike anything he had seen. Then it dawned on him, the door was installed upside down. He had to take it off, flip hinges and reinstall. What??? Upside down? How is that possible? I then realized that this is probably the reason why my son punctured his foot. It was too low.Six months after replacing the refrigerator, the freezer stopped working. Everything melted. The compressor (?) was shot and it was replaced. For the continuing hassle, Viking extended our warranty an additional year. We now had 3 years of warranty. Within the three years, we have had to replace the ice-maker at least 5 times. Every 4 months it develops a leak and water drips into the ice bucket. Soon the ice bucket has an inch or so of water at the bottom and the entire ice bucket turns in to a solid block of ice. They send a repair guy and he replaces it. This has happened five times. It is broken again now. Unfortunately we are now out of warranty. I argue that the problem began while we were under warranty. This apparently does not matter. Viking wants to charge me $150 for the part and $150 to install it. Again a $7,500 freezer with an ice-maker that does not work. Dumb.Today, the produce tray in the refrigerator broke. Looks like a plastic piece fell off and the side by side drawers came off. This overpriced appliance is an absolute joke. Like my neighbor did with me, I tell all people that compliment our gorgeous appliances to NEVER buy the Viking brand. I warn everybody that I cannot to make the same mistake we did. Viking sucks.

The product was still under warranty and I tried to have it serviced because I was having an issue with it. It kept freezing up and then it would have to be defrosted. I liked Vikings reputation for quality, specifically the range. I live in an all-electric home and adding gas would’ve been pricey. I got a high-quality range still within the parameters of my house but purchasing with the Viking dealer was the one bit of a dark spot. Appliances Connection wasnt very good at communicating the timeline for the reception and the arrangement for shipping was not great either. The communication on that was poor. When they finally scheduled the delivery, they told me when it was going to occur and I waited two hours after the fact. I was waiting at our work site since I don’t live where I was renovating. I finally called them to see what was going on. They said that the shipment was delayed and that they weren’t going to deliver it that night. It was 10 p.m. after they told me I had to wait, so that was frustrating. Nonetheless, the range looks incredible and I’m very anxious to test it out in cooking. Also, we liked the color options. It was silly, but it was really nice. We picked the graphite gray and it’s perfect. Although the dealer and the delivery were a little frustrating, everyone was professional when they delivered and they did a really nice job of getting it into the house quickly and safely. They had the tools to do it well.

We liked the look of the Viking Ranges. We also liked the multiple burners and the size of the double oven. We knew what we wanted as we shopped, and we picked Viking out. Weve had a couple of problems, though, but it is covered by warranty because we built the house. We had to have it completely replaced once, because the main oven door wouldnt close and seal. The original dealer stopped carrying Viking, so we ended up having to get the replacement from another dealer. Because it was an all-new construction, the builder handled finding the other dealer, and he contacted them. They quoted all the same appliances and everything was smooth. The pricing wasn’t any different. It was just a matter of waiting for construction completion, and everything was here when we moved in. It didnt hold up construction. With the replacement, though, the two oven doors dont align. There’s an uneven gap, so it looks like somethings crooked. But theyre coming next week to try to get that fixed. Were hoping that its some adjustment that they can make and not another problem. Another thing is that it has all large burners. Theres nothing smaller for just a small pot to simmer something, so I’m always dealing with a larger wider diameter pot. But it’s a nice product, so far. Theyve been accommodating with the issues that weve had, so I would recommend it.

I have had my Viking built in side by side for one year -- I chose Viking thinking it was a quality product. It is NOT -- the items on the top shelf the refrigerator ice up, the items in the freezer frost up and at six months a new part had to be installed in the freezer compressor. It was defective and froze the whole compressed up -- we had to move everything to a cheap Kenmore freezer which has worked for years to keep until the part came in and the repair was made. Now 3 months later it is doing the same thing. This is either a defective unit or Viking is making junk and charging a lot for it. Next step for us is to demand a replacement for this side by side and if they wont do that we will sue for a refund! Sad that this brand has become junk!

My Viking range has been a good investment so far for me. Weve had it since last summer and its a great range. I like it a lot. It’s very efficient and the oven heats really quick. It’s solid too. I like the fact that it’s like a commercial range, so it gets really hot. But when you put it on the low setting, it’s not very low ‘cause it’s got pretty big burners. The only thing that’s odd is when I’m closing the oven door the enamel is chipping off of it ‘cause there’s this piece that sticks out. Otherwise, the quality is good.

Im really into cooking and Ive heard about Viking Ranges a long time ago. When we were looking to purchase a home, it all had Viking appliances, which is what sold the house. I have a fridge, range, wine fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. Everyone at the Viking dealership was super nice, helpful, and explained the different models. Unfortunately, I have electric where Im at, so there werent too many things to pick from on that side of things. So we went with the D3 and its been great. The only thing that stinks is my wine fridge went out and Ive been trying to get it fixed. The quality of the range from Viking is awesome. I like the ability to control the heat range. So, I can go up to three rings, and to get a pot of water boiling fast, I put it on all three. I also like that I have a couple of different convection settings. Ive never cooked with convection before and its really awesome that I have the ability to do that. If a person has the money to do it, its definitely worth doing because its a great feature that they have and offers.

We moved into a house that had a Viking refrigerator and weve been using it since then. The quality of the ref is okay and I liked the inside of it. I know really good things about Viking and I have a positive association with them. But when some of the handles on the refrigerator door kept coming loose, I was disappointed because I had the expectation that their products were so high in quality. Other than that, however, I like the Viking ref. The ref door just needs to be tightened with an Allen wrench, but its annoying to have to keep doing that. Im sure there are other models and if I picked the ref myself, I may not have picked that exact model. For one thing, it doesnt have an ice maker in the door. But Im pretty satisfied with it. Its under warranty and people have come out to help us with stuff.

Besides finding out that their side-by-side refrigerator is the biggest disappointment in home appliances, I found out that their customer service is the same! I had some warranty repairs done by Vikings preferred service provider and during the work, they installed an upgrade kit for the refrigerator. Months went by and we would occasionally see water under the unit. Our warranty was up so we had a different service provider come over to estimate what was wrong, a service provider we found out later that Viking had put on their list of preferred repairers. The service person found that while the unit was under warranty and the upgrade was installed, the wiring was preformed incorrectly causing the refrigerator to leak water underneath, damaging the wood flooring in the house. I called Viking on the subject and they first told me that they would not cover the faulty workmanship so I complained that it was their provider that I had used. They gave me a case number and told me that they had 24 hours to research the case and they would call me back. They did not call back and the case was left unsolved. The Viking company does one thing very well, disappoint their customers! This is not the first time that I have had the experience of poor service from Viking. Buyer beware.

We were remodeling our home and wanted to get some built-in appliances. We compared Viking to Thermador and some of the other top brands and decided to go with Viking because of their great promotion. The refrigerator looks deceivingly small. So, when you open it, you feel like, Im not going to fit as much stuff in there. But you do fit a lot in there. So, Im pretty pleased with it. The freezer portion makes a couple of noises. It sort of snaps and crackles and makes some little noises there that probably could be improved. But otherwise no, its great. We actually are on our second refrigerator. The first one that arrived was defective. We got a hold of Viking through the company that sold it to us. Viking was great. They sent out a new refrigerator. They came picked up the old one, and there was no problem. It took a little while, but there were some other complications probably that were at play at that time. Other than the delay, it was a smooth process.

Forget the fact my 2010 Viking oven has never heated properly or that we couldnt use our 2010 Viking dishwasher for 5 weeks because we couldnt get a part to fix it. Now, we have been without the use of our 2010 Viking refrigerator for a month. Five service calls, five missed days from work to wait for a repairman, and now, the repair service says it’s not fixable. Its two years old! We have called, emails documented and Viking says they will review the case. An hour on hold today, waiting to talk to a supervisor and all she could tell me was to wait for someone from the distributor to call me sometime. Thanks, big help. Do not buy Viking products. Let me know where to sign up for a lawsuit. We have spent hundreds of dollars on eating out and lost food from the broken fridge. Not to mention, our custom cabinets were built specifically to the specs for these products. If I spend the money to buy something else, I will have to re size all our cabinetry. So frustrated.

My wife and I just replaced our Viking side by side with a Sub Zero side by
My wife and I just replaced our Viking side by side with a Sub Zero side by side. Boy what a difference. During the warranty period the service tech was out to our house about once per month. The Ice Maker didnt work in that it dripped water into the ice tray and formed long hanging icicles which made it almost impossible to open the ice drawer. The screw mechanism that forced the ice into the ice crusher would fail on a regular basis so we could never use our machine for crushed ice. The rubber seals on the doors began cracking early on preventing a tight door closure. The plastic drawers and shelves began cracking as well. Since almost all of them began cracking at the same time this was more of a poor materials issue than a one time problem. The machine has only one compressor which cools the freezer. There is a fan between the freezer and refrigerator that blows cold air from the freezer to the refrigerator to keep it cool. This means that everything on the top two shelves of the refrigerator were usually frozen. The compressor failed and since the freezer and refrigerator were on the same compressor we lost both. The control panel on top of the machine was basically useless in that it had a useless bar led graph rather than a digital numerical display to give you a relative estimate of the coldness setting in the freezer. When we replaced this Viking with a Sub Zero it was like being reborn. All of the design issues we suffered with the Viking are absent in the Sub Zero, including the single compressor issue. The Sub Zero has two compressors, one for the refrigerator and one for the freezer which are isolated from one another. The Sub Zero has easy to use numerical controls to independently set the freezer and refrigerator temperatures to a resolution of one degree, air filters to remove Ethylene gasses produced by stored vegetables, an internal on/off switch to power up/down the machine for maintenance or cleaning, and it has what looks to be a reliable ice maker and water dispenser design. The other issue we had problems with is that it is difficult if not impossible to find a Viking certified appliance repair company when you live in a remote area. The closest Viking certified repair company was 100 miles away. This creates huge problems, especially when the warranty expires.

Viking was supposed to be a quality brand. Ive had the range for a year now and its not properly working. Ive had to have repairman after repairman in and out of my home and the problem is still not resolved 100% so its a bit of an issue. After nine months of not working properly, they decided to replace the whole range. And now, the parts that I had purchased that are supposed to fit the same year dont fit because a piece of it is warped. We finally got the other oven working because I didnt have both sides working for a whole year. And now that we finally got it working, the griddle that they replaced it with is warped. They had someone come out and look at it and it needed to be replaced. But Vikings saying that he didnt say that it was warped when I was standing right there and he did say it. They said that theyre not replacing it basically. So now, I have a warped griddle that I cant cover.I thought I was buying a luxury piece of equipment for my home and now its just been one thing after another and no ones been helpful. I havent heard from them for probably two to three weeks on what theyre going to do about the warped griddle so I just have another defective piece of whatever. It would be nice if I could go back and if they would refund me and I would purchase a completely different brand so that I could get some customer service.

It’s got the bottom refrigerator on it. We like the bottom freezer and the French door top-to-bottom. It has the water on the inside. We’ve only had one problem with the fridge though. The compressor went out. It would run but it quit cooling. A man came up, checked it and ordered the compressor. It was covered, and it only cost us $149. He put it back together and within three hours, it was cooling again. Id definitely tell others that they wont find much better than Viking Refrigerators.

Most recently, the burner bases have been misfiring and was told by an authorized Viking repairman that about 3 years ago Viking updated the burner bases due to a design flaw! I have a large family, I cook a lot and I needed something strong and durable. I got the Viking stove and its very powerful. However, I have a problem inserting the racks. I make a cake, slide the racks out and the racks stick and go off the track. They dont slide in and out comfortably. And then, I have a vent above the stove and I have glass in the back of the stove instead of stainless steel. My husband pushed the stove too close to the glass so the first time I used the oven, the glass exploded. Also, its very busy to keep the top clean because it doesn’t have sealed burners. It has grates that I have to take in and out and steel wool in between every little crevice there on the top. I have adult sons that are slobs when it comes to cleaning so it’s an extra effort for me to keep this range clean on the top. I would have looked at something different and paid $1,000 extra and gotten a sealed burner. But I got what I got and I use S.O.S Steel Wool to keep the top clean every day. Otherwise, the stove is terrific and I like it.

I purchased a Viking refrigerator on a scratch and dent auction at a pretty good deal. They did not promise any warranty and I’m in Iowa so there are no resources for people to look at it. The refrigerator performs very well and it keeps everything cold. However, I dislike that it is very difficult to move around as it is 48-inch wide. We installed it ourselves and it was difficult to do it. It was a big process but we are happy now that it is in. Viking is still based in the United States so, there is very much of the hometown feel connection and I’m still working with someone local. Also, they have invested in hiring people and they are paying Americans to do a job. I appreciated that and it makes me feel like Im coming home when Im talking to them. When I called to follow up and ask questions about the cabinet being built, the technical support was very good. But the person at the parts department was not. Ive worked with him a few different times and he didn’t have technical knowledge of his job. He was very demeaning too. When we were talking about parts I needed to order, I got transferred back to technical then back. I got transferred back again when the numbers were not right. If they could combine their knowledge of the technical with the parts department, it would create a much better and efficient process.

I like the look of Viking Refrigerators and it was a right fit for what we needed. So we got a package deal from them and ended up getting two refrigerators. They’ve been great up until a month ago where unfortunately, one of them malfunctioned. The refrigerators are in our vacation home, and the gentleman who came out and checked it said the foam came loose and got caught in the fans. There was no coolant happening and no fans were going off, and it was heating up the temperature so all of the fixtures on the doors cracked from the heat. The food in my refrigerator also cooked for about two weeks, so it took 11 hours for the cleaners to get it cleaned and it still smells.I was still hoping that Viking will get it fixed, but parts have to be ordered and the gentleman who came out and told me to put coffee or charcoal in the refrigerator also said that the inside of my refrigerator got cooked. Its now beige and is off color. He said if I can live with that, then my refrigerator will probably be okay. But I was asked what I wanted and I said Id like the refrigerator replaced because it’s clear that theres something wrong and they came out and confirmed it. But theyre going to send all the pieces to put it together, and thats very silly to replace all the stuff as I don’t think my refrigerator is going to be all right because of the inside coloring. Its going to cost them as much for each of those drawers because everything inside the refrigerator wasn’t metal and most of the shelvings cracked and completely dropped to the bottom of the refrigerator, smothered in whatever food I had there, and it was just not good.My second Viking refrigerator, a small one that’s on the counter by my stove, also decided to kick out, which is weird because Viking is usually a very good product. The tech said he’s seen it on three others in his time and he’s worked for 20 years on Viking, but he’s never seen it this bad. So I hope they do the right thing and replace the product because it clearly was faulty. I think its a great product. Its sleek and I loved it, but Im still a little frustrated. Its been two weeks and I haven’t heard anything back, so Im going to call and see what was happening with my refrigerator.

Purchased a high end Viking Refrigerator in Oct, 2008 for just under $5,000. In August 2015 it stopped cooling due to a Freon leak. Local appliance repair fixed it temporarily by recharging at a cost of $541. Permanent fix required replacing defective Viking parts that were covered by warranty and ordered on Oct 1st. However labor costs of $1,800 plus tax were NOT covered.By Nov. 5 the parts had still not arrived. I contacted Viking customer service and got no satisfaction or assurance, so I wrote the COO of Viking a letter with the facts and expressing my dissatisfaction. It takes over 5 weeks to replace defective parts that are covered by warranty! It costs me $1,800 in labor to replace Vikings defective parts! I received NO response whatsoever from the COO or anybody at Viking. Eventually the parts arrived at the end of November and the refrigerator was repaired on Dec 7 -- OVER 2 MONTHS after the parts were ordered! With that kind of quality and their non-existent service, Ill never buy another Viking product and have recommended the same to every person and appliance seller I know.

The Viking range was so pretty. I got one thats jet black with rose gold accent. Its one of my fancy splurges for the kitchen. My house was being renovated and the designer did all of the ordering. The installation of the range was easy. They had a nice team come in and set everything up and level it. The range works really well. I like the fact that youre not actually sitting the pot on the burner. Youre sitting it on the little metal thing above the burner. Its set up pretty high from the burner. Theres an indentation in the burner so the flame is set down in the indentation, which means that it keeps you further away from the flame. You have to work very hard to burn yourself. Thats a really nice safety feature. The range also works quickly. There are lots of options on how to set the temperature. I like the fact that the knobs light up when a particular burner is being used because its also easy to know if a burner is on. If the pilot light didnt light, you dont have to worry about gas flowing because the light is on will tell you which burner is active.

But Ive not had a convection option before, so I didnt know that what I had wasn’t how it should be. And because it was way too hot, I called to have it calibrated, and the man who came out was outstanding. He tested the temperature, turned on the convection and said, That shouldnt sound like that. So he took it off and ordered the part. But the first time they ordered it, the wrong part came in. They called me that day and told me that he had checked it and it wasnt the right part, then they ordered the new one and they were wonderful. After it was fixed, I baked a cake and I loved it.We also bought another non-Viking appliance from Specialty Appliance in Colorado, where we bought our Viking range, and that had trouble, too. First we tried to have it fixed ourselves, and then I remembered that the salesman of Specialty Appliance had said, If anything is wrong, call us. So, I called them and they jumped all over getting somebody here and getting it fixed. And as for my range I love how it looks and how easy it is to take the grids off the top and clean it. I also love the gas cooktop with the electric oven. Im very happy with Viking.

Viking Combi oven model vcso210ss - This is an unsafe product. The trays on this small unit have no stops. As a result of this design defect, the trays slide forward and down. Because of this downward motion, anything on or in the tray has the potential to splash or fall onto the door, which pulls down, or onto the hands of the consumer. Fortunately, no injuries to date but will probably use mostly in the microwave mode which requires no tray.

We needed a range that fits so we looked around and we heard of Viking. I looked in the store and I liked the look of the range. It was 25 inches deep which was the right size for our already built kitchen. It also had the right functionality. We saw several competitors whose second oven was way too small but Viking also had two good sized ovens in a 48-inch range. Plus, we’ve been pleased with the gas cooktop. It seemed to be much more efficient than our previous gas cooktops. We used AJ Madison online and we went with them rather than locally for the speed of delivery. I want the range as soon as I could so my wife could start using the kitchen. They promised us delivery within 10 days. However, it still took 21 days. And then the problem was that they did not install at the same time of the delivery which was what I would asked them to do. So, we then had to have the range sitting on the metal screw unable to get it hooked up for nearly two weeks because they didnt install the legs properly on the range. It was potentially damaging the hardwood, and it was a truly terrible experience. The timing and the delivery experience was poor. Plus, we had to have someone come in and install the range instead. We were better off going with the local company after all. There were other problems when it was installed like, aesthetically, the dials on the front of the range were not level, so they were all over the place. Another thing was the part hooked to the range underneath the oven was bent and so we had to have a replacement ordered. The oven doors were not level and they sloped off it that those in the left don’t want to slide down to the left. The right won’t slide down to the right. Also, within the oven, there was lots of the kind of ceramic coating that had already chipped off. So, we are having a replacement in the interior of the oven as well. We got to the point where we were wiping sharp ceramic shards. It has been three weeks now since we had the Viking technician out to look at the range and I’ve had no communication when they are going to come and fix it. I contacted Viking two times trying to find someone who could help me install. It also took a week dealing with the Viking reps to get them to have a wise conversation. I found Viking to be very unresponsive. So I like the range itself and the quality would be very cool but it was awful for a $12,000 range. It has not been a great experience all way around.
